Click here for canker sore treatment: https://amzn.to/2PNkCtB Here in this video i talk about how to get rid of canker sores overnight. Canker sores on your tongue also called aphthous ulcers are caused by numerous different factors. Tissue injury or biting your tongue is a reason why people get canker sores on their tongue. Vitamin deficiency, a lack of iron, vitamin B-12, lack of folic acid can cause canker sores. Eating acidic foods, salty, and spicy foods, also contribute in getting canker sores on the tongue. So how can we get rid of them? Method 1) The simplest and easiest method is going to always be basic salt and water. Salt helps the tongue sore heal faster because it stops and kills the growth of bacteria. I personally like to put 1 tbsp of salt into 1 cup of water, I will mix it up, and then gargle with it. Method 2) Use ice cubes, this will numb the pain and help speed up the process. Apply only for a short period of time, a few minutes to 5 minutes is plenty of time Method 3) Make sure you brush your teeth after each meal with tongue sores, this will keep your mouth area clean. This will maintain oral health. Method 4) Honey has antifungal properties. It increase wound healing, reduces inflammation, and kills bacteria. Use honey on your sores, this will make a difference. Certain foods and products may increase the pain or swelling you have with your tongue bumps. Avoid spicy and acidic foods or tobacco.

http://utahtexans.com/ Click on the link above for a free video guide to dietary supplements and alternative medicine! Today I'm going to share with you the most common tongue cancer symptoms and some ideas on preventing this problem. Cancer really is a scary disease because it can strike anyone without warning, even if they are really healthy. Then it can rapidly spread causing all kinds of damage. Another danger is that it can be mistaken for a cold, an ulcer or a sore in the mouth area. One of the most typical warning signs is going to be pain in the region. This could be agony coming from the tongue directly or the jaw. This could make it difficult when it comes to swallowing, chewing and even talking. An additional tongue cancer symptom could include a lump or thickening on the tongue as well as a white or reddish patch in the area. Also a person might experience a sore throat that doesn't seem to go away. The million dollar question is when someone should see a physician about something that is troubling them. I feel it's best for someone get a checkup the moment they feel they might have something that is serious. Getting this checkup can give someone piece of mind and enable them to rest easier. If it is something serious then a person can deal with the problem right away, before it becomes more serious. Now that we know the warning signs of this problem let's go over a few ideas on preventing this problem from ever happening. 90% of people with tongue cancer or some people call it oral cancer use 1 specific ingredient and do you have any idea what that is? I'll give you a hint this ingredient causes many other kinds of health problems. The answer is tobacco. In fact smokeless tobacco such as “chew” increases the chance of getting any type of cancer in the mouth area by 50 times. Another idea to to prevent oral cancer is green tea. In a study done by M.D. Anderson Cancer Center 41 patients with oral cancer were either given green tea extract or a placebo. After 3 months 59% of the patients that took green tea experienced a reduction in the size of the tumor. To sum everything up the top tongue cancer symptoms include pain in the region. There might be a lump or thickening of the tongue. A white or reddish lump could be an indicator of cancer as well as difficulty when it comes to swallowing, talking or chewing. Other signs could be a persistent sore throat as well as pain with the jaw. To prevent tongue cancer a person should not use tobacco and drinking green tea can increase a person's chance of not getting this problem. Supplements and alternative medicine can be confusing and even harmful. Make things really simple and give your body a HUGE edge by viewing a free video guide I created at http://utahtexans.com/.

15 Secrets Your Tongue Reveals About Your Health Are you hearing for the first time that your tongue can tell about your health? Don’t be surprised! Yes, it happens. A healthy tongue should be pink and covered with small nodules or papillae whereas any deviation from your tongue’s normal appearance, or any pain, may be cause for concern. Tongue’s differences from one to another could be an indication of what is mentioned in this video. White Spots on Tongue: Creamy white spots or white patches on tongue could be thrush, a fungal infection which often happens after an illness or medications throw off the balance of bacteria in your mouth. Having a light white coating on your tongue means your immune system is attacking the tissues in your mouth. If hard, flat, white areas is seen on your tongue which can’t be scraped away, it could be leukoplakia, what links to cancer. Moreover, it also could be sign of Oral thrush. It is most commonly seen in infants and the elderly, especially denture wearers, or in people with weakened immune systems. People with diabetes and those who are taking inhaled steroids for asthma or lung disease can also get it. White patches on the tongue and inside the mouth can be indication of Leukoplakia which develops when the tongue has been irritated. It can be a precursor to cancer. And white lines on your tongue could be meant oral lichen planus. Bright Red Tongue: Red tongues normally could be sign of Vitamin deficiency. Strawberry-red tongue could be an early sign of Kawasaki disease which inflames blood vessels all over the body. It is especially caused to children. High fever and a red tongue is also a symptom of scarlet fever. On the other hand, red tongue with smoothness and having pain in it might be a sign of vitamin B3 deficiency. A glossy, bright red tongue may be a sign your body is lacking iron or B12. Black or Hairy Tongue: You’ll be shocked to know that tongue which is black and hairy could be a sign of Diabetes. Those “hairs” are proteins that turn normal, small bumps into longer strands, where food and bacteria get caught. If you have hairy, white patches that you can’t scrape off, it might be oral hairy leukoplakia. It can happen to people infected with viruses like Epstein-Barr or HIV. Bumpy or tongue with sore: Having papilla, small bumps on the surface of our tongue could be a sign of mouth ulcers. Many people develop canker sores on the tongue if they have these kinds of tongues. Papillae are normally worn down by chewing and drinking, but sometimes they can become overgrown, which makes them more likely to harbor bacteria or become discolored from food. A lump or sore on your tongue that doesn’t go away within two weeks could be an indication of oral cancer. Burning Feeling on Tongue: Sometimes pain in your tongue can be a sign of cancer, especially if you also have a lump or red or white patches. If your tongue stings and burns as though it’s been scalded with hot coffee and tastes metallic or bitter, it might mean a problem with the nerves in your tongue. If you discover any kinds of signs what we discussed, visit your doctor as soon as possible. Take care of your tongue and be a person in sound health. Almost 50 million people in U.S. alone are suffering from this virus. There are two types of HSV's, HSV 1 and HSV 2. Both are responsible for causing herpes. HSV 1 mostly infects the lips, causing sores known as fever blisters or cold sores. However, HSV 2 causes genital herpes that infects genital area, buttocks or anus area. Most of the people get infected as a result of physical contact, for example sex or kissing, if someone is having “outbreak” (HSV is active). Tongue herpes is basically an infection of a mouth as a whole and it is much uncomfortable. Tongue herpes is a type of HSV 1 and highly infectious. SYMPTOMS OF TONGUE HERPES People with herpes are not aware of the disease as its symptoms are pretty similar to flue like symptoms and it is hardly to distinguish between these symptoms for common people. Also, Symptoms can be different in each person. Normally, symptoms appear after 2-10 days and can be seen for 2-3 weeks. Early symptoms include: *Itching, pain or burning feel at site of infection. *Flu like symptoms (fever, headache, body ache) Within a few days, sores will appear on the mouth, lips, eyes or tongue. Over several days, the sores can become crusty and then heal without leaving a scar. If you have been infected by HSV 1 or 2, you have the symptoms time by time as its symptoms are recurring type. In most cases, the virus becomes active several times a year. Recurrence also varies in different people. Some people might have only one or two outbreaks in a life time, but others may have several in a year. DIAGNOSIS It can be diagnosed by visual inspection i.e. just looking at sore or by taking a sample from the sore for testing in a lab. Blood tests, which detect HSV-1 or HSV-2 antibodies, can help to detect herpes in people without symptoms or during the time between outbreaks. However tongue herpes is much different in appearance and hence can be diagnosed easily. TREATMENT There are medicines that are generally prescribed for herpes include: Acyclovir, Famciclovir and Valacyclovir. Whether it is a repeated episode or new one, it is necessary to limit the virus within some area. You can take these antiviral medicines on a regular basis to overcome the virus completely or you can take it whenever the outbreak occurs. You can also use painkiller tablets if you feel much pain. Following steps should be kept in mind: *Keep the infected area clean and dry. *Try to avoid touching the sores. *Prevent getting dehydrated. *Avoid using toothpaste that contains sodium lauryl sulfate. *Avoid sexual contact during outbreak. The best cure for tongue herpes is taking precautions. You should consult a doctor as soon as you get any symptoms like this. There are several causes for small red spots on the tongue. It can vary from small spots, large patches and also depends on the location where it is for example if there are small spots and they are spread over the various parts of the tongue, it can be an inflamed papilla, which are nothing but taste buds So if one ingests something very hot or extremely spicy, it gets raised and inflamed which goes on its own, so it is not a big problem. there are other conditions which causes red patches milk there are viral condition like Kawasaki ’s disease, which is seen in children and it is a viral condition and it can be solved. It can be scarlet fever. Where you see a strawberry tongue or a red coloured tongue and the most commonly asked question for a red patch on the tongue is when there is immune system like a fever or malaise , there is a velvety red patch and that is erythroplakia, which is a precancerous condition and this particular condition progresses into cancer very fast and has very high incidence of developing into a cancer and that condition should be consulted with a dentist or an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. This particular patch if it exists more than 2 weeks, then you have to visit a dentist. There are other anatomical variations called as the geographic tongue or there are certain other conditions called as canker sore, you have a yellow white spot and a red ring around it and that also goes away once the systemic condition goes away. So there are several reasons and several conditions that must be understood, diagnosed properly and given the right treatment for.

Please 'like', 'share' and 'comment' on this video!!! So yes...this lesion on the tonsillar pillar (not the tonsil) is on MY throat. And believe me...I am not one to whine but this hurt a LOT. Every time I swallowed it felt like a needle rubbing my throat on that side. Eating dinner almost made me break into tears. So finally I asked around to the other doctors in my Emergency Department to see what they would suggest I do. One said to take an Aspirin an place it right against the sore until it dissolved. But how can I hold an aspirin all the way back there? Then they said gargles with salt water, sure that eases it...but it does NOT cure it. Then one suggested burning it with a silver nitrate stick. OUCH! burning my throat on purpose? Well...the one doctor went back to his office and got me 20% lidocaine spray and a few silver nitrate sticks. So...having these 'tools' at hand I recorded this video. And it has worked! TODAY...they day after the procedure I have only mild soreness at the side but I can swallow ok. For those of you who were asking and commenting let me clear some things up: 1. No...I am not a smoker. 2. No...the white stuff on the tongue is NOT candida. But it is caused by the chronic sinus drainage I have. You can appreciate it on the video. YES I know it looks disgusting so don't insult me I beg you. 3. Yes...there is ALSO a tonsillolith above the area of the canker sore in this video. 4. Yes...my molars are 'yellow'...that I blame on my thirst for CocaCola and chronic staining of the enamel. This is a much more intimate video than my other ones.

Lymphoma is a form of cancer that affects the immune system - specifically, it is a cancer of immune cells called lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. There are two broad types of lymphoma and many subtypes. The two types of lymphoma are described as: Hodgkin's or non-Hodgkin’s. Here are some symptoms of lymphoma cancer: 1. Swollen Lymph Nodes On their own, swollen lymph nodes are rarely anything to worry about. They indicate that the body is fighting off an infection of some kind; lymphatic fluid is gathering in the body's lymph nodes, which lie under the neck, at the base of the skull, in the armpit, in the groin, and elsewhere, preparing to fight a grand immune system battle. "Although enlarged lymph nodes are a common symptom of lymphoma, they are much more often caused by infections," 2. Night Sweats The medical explanation behind this one remains a blank but lymphoma appears to cause massive night sweats, also referred to as "drenching" because of the sheer amount of sweat that pours from the person's body. It's also been suggested that they might be a bodily response to the hormones produced by lymphoma cells, or that they're a consequence of another common lymphoma symptom: a fever. 3. Unexplained Weight Loss Along with night sweats and fever, an unexpected weight loss is defined as a B-symptom of lymphoma: physicians will look for primary signs (the lymph nodes being the most obvious), but the presence of B-symptoms, which usually occur as a trio, may indicate that lymphoma is a possibility. 4. Swollen, Firm Abdomen One of the interesting things about the lymphatic system is that it's not just focused around the nodes, even though they're often the most visible parts to observers. It also uses lymphatic tissue, which lives in various parts of the body involved with the immune system: the spleen, the adenoids, bone marrow and other areas that transport lymph throughout the body. While the lymph nodes are meant to filter the fluid, it goes basically everywhere. The abdomen is a prime place for lymphatic tissue to show that something's gone a bit awry. 5. Pruritus, Or Itching This is most common in Hodgkin's lymphoma, and rarer in non-Hodgkin's types, but it's still a concern there. In some sufferers, pruritus — which the Lymphoma Coalition defines as a "persistent itch all over the body without an apparent cause or rash" — is one of the dermatological signs of lymphoma. Medscape goes further, describing it as often "intolerable, continuous, and severe," and noted that it may be localized to the areas affected by the disease, like specific lymph nodes. What Your Tongue Says About Your Health? Find out what your tongue is telling you and when you should see your doctor or dentist. White Patches Creamy white spots could be thrush, a fungal infection (shown here). It often happens after an illness or medications throw off the balance of bacteria in your mouth. White patches that look lacy could be lichen planus, which means your immune system is attacking the tissues in your mouth. If you see hard, flat, white areas that can’t be scraped away, it could be leukoplakia, which is linked to cancer. Let your dentist know about any white patches you see. “Hair” on Your Tongue If your tongue has a coating that looks like black, brown, or white fur, you might have hairy tongue. Those “hairs” are proteins that turn normal, small bumps into longer strands, where food and bacteria get caught. It should go away when you brush or scrape your tongue. If you have hairy, white patches that you can’t scrape off, it might be oral hairy leukoplakia. It can happen to people infected with viruses like Epstein-Barr or HIV. Black Tongue Hairy tongue can be black in color. But your tongue can also go dark after you take an antacid with an ingredient called bismuth. For some people, it stains the tongue black when it mixes with saliva. It’s harmless and goes away once you stop taking the medicine. Bright Red Tongue A strawberry-red tongue could be an early sign of Kawasaki disease, a rare, serious illness that inflames blood vessels all over the body, most often in children. It’s also a symptom of scarlet fever. If your red tongue is also smooth and you have pain in your mouth, it might be a sign that your body doesn’t have enough vitamin B3. Burning Feeling: If your tongue feels like you scalded it with hot coffee and tastes metallic or bitter, you may have burning mouth syndrome. It might mean a problem with the nerves in your tongue. Some health problems, like dry mouth, infections, acid reflux, and diabetes may cause it, too. For some people, acidic foods like pineapple as well as toothpaste, mouthwash, candy, or gum also make their mouth burn. Smooth Tongue: A tongue without any small bumps on the top may look glossy red. You may get it if you don’t get enough of some nutrients like iron, folic acid, or B vitamins. Infections, celiac disease, or some medications can also cause it. If you have patches of smooth areas next to bumpy ones, it could be geographic tongue. The spots can come and go, and sometimes they hurt or burn. It's harmless, but it could be linked to psoriasis or lichen planus. Bumps:Under the tongue is a common spot for canker sores (shown here) -- small, painful, reddish bumps that come and go on their own. A single, painful bump at the tip could be transient lingual papillitis, “lie bumps,” which can pop up if your tongue gets irritated. A virus can also cause lots of little bumps on the tip and sides. If you have a lump on or under your tongue that hurts and doesn’t go away, let your doctor or dentist know. They’ll want to check you for oral cancer. Soreness:Your tongue has lots of nerve endings, so it can really hurt if you bite or injure it. Canker sores, lichen planus (shown here), thrush, and geographic tongue can cause pain. Some medications and infections can make your tongue sore, too. Sometimes pain in your tongue can be a sign of cancer, especially if you also have a lump or red or white patches. Bring those problems up with your doctor or dentist. Macroglossia: It’s when your tongue is too big compared to the rest of your mouth. It can take up so much room that your doctor might find imprints of your teeth on its sides. Your doctor will try to figure out and treat the underlying condition, which may be hypothyroidism, an infection, or allergies, among others. Fissured Tongue: Deep grooves can form on your tongue as you age. They also are linked to Down syndrome, psoriasis, and Sjögren's syndrome. They’re harmless, but you should gently brush your tongue to clear food and bacteria. The grooves might get better when your doctor treats the condition that’s causing them, if there is one. Signs of Mouth Cancer: Many spots, bumps, and colors on your tongue are harmless. But it’s good to know the signs that might point to cancer: Sores that don’t heal, lumps, tongue pain, and trouble chewing or swallowing. If these symptoms last more than 2 weeks, see your doctor or dentist. This video is live at: https://youtu.be/nNrbd9MmyOg Please SUBSCRIBE our channel for more informative videos.
