Interviews can make or mar the chances of getting a job. There are some despite having all the qualifications and attitude, fail at the interview because their answers to some questions were not satisfactory. Some interview questions can be tricky and one of such questions is, ‘What are your career goals and how do you plan to achieve them’. The answer to this question should be in such a way that it augurs well with the company’s future and your calibre so that the interviewers get the feeling that you both are on the same page. Each candidate is different so will be their answer to this question but at the same time, how one approaches this question can be common. Here are some ways to answer the very tricky yet relevant question as to what your career goals are and how you plan to achieve them: 1. Adopt a practical approach: When asked about your career goals and your plans to meet them, first talk about things you have done so far and your plans that you have chalked out for yourself. Just see to it that whatever goals and plans you talk about are associated some or the other way with the job for which the interview is being conducted. 2. How an experienced person should answer: If the candidate is aiming for a managerial position in accounts section, he can talk about the courses he has undertaken in latest accounting field. Then he can talk about his vision of becoming a senior accounts manager in the near future. 3. How a fresh candidate should answer: If an entry level candidate is going to say he hopes to become a writer after five years, then, be sure that this question will be the last and the person will be right away asked to leave. Thus it is safer to say that he is looking at learning new skills and learning more about the field so that he can gradually rise to a senior position. 4. Avoid narrow answers that you think is humorous: Sometimes, sense of humour doesn’t make any sense at all. If you are planning to say that your career goal is to take over the post of the manager who is interviewing, the latter will not see any sense in your humor rather in all probability, he will see you as a potential threat and avoid hiring you. 5. Think about career advancement activities and formulate an answer: For anyone to advance in their career, they need good training, handling of new responsibilities, learning leadership skills and a focus on individual development attributes. Frame an answer including these points so that the interviewer knows that your ultimate aim is. 6. Display your enthusiasm: When the interviewers find you enthusiastic about your career goals, they will get a feel that you will be able to handle responsibilities well because you are excited about new role and job. 7. Walking the fine line is helpful: Some interviewees tend to give emotional answers to this question while some will delve on personal and professional career goals and some tend to present a long list of career goals. It is best to strike a fine balance and to be concise yet detailed to answer in such a way that it presents you as a professional talking sense, and not some emotional fools who appear to be day dreaming. There are also a few things that you should avoid saying. Do not mention goals about going back to school or starting a family. This may make it seem like you won’t be with this company for the long haul. Do not mention a career path that couldn’t happen in the company you are interviewing with. Be careful not to start bragging about what you think you will accomplish. Here is a good sample of an answer about career goals: I want to continue learning new techniques that will make me a better technician. I really strive to be the best that I can be, which means that my goals include staying current which means I will attend seminars and workshops. I also want to use the knowledge that I gain to help others reach their top potential. I could see myself being a great leader and manager who pushes the employees to be better and therefore make the company better. When I consider purchasing an individual health insurance plan for myself or my family, do I have any financial obligations beyond the monthly premium and annual deductible? Answers: It depends on the plan, but some plans have the following cost-sharing elements that you should be aware of. Co-Payments: Some plans include a co-payment, which is typically a specific flat fee you pay for each medical service, such as $30 for an office visit. After the co-payment is made, the insurance company typically pays the remainder of the covered medical charges. Deductibles: Some plans include a deductible, which typically refers to the amount of money you must pay each year before your health insurance plan starts to pay for covered medical expenses. Coinsurance: Some plans include coinsurance. Coinsurance is a cost sharing requirement that makes you responsible for paying a certain percentage of any costs. The insurance company pays the remaining percentage of the covered medical expenses after your insurance deductible is met. Out-of-pocket limit: Some plans include an out-of-pocket limit. Typically, the out-of-pocket limit is the maximum amount you will pay out of your own pocket for covered medical expenses in a given year. The out-of-pocket limit typically includes deductibles and coinsurance. But, out-of-pocket limits don't typically apply to co-payments. Lifetime maximum: Most plans include a lifetime maximum. Typically the lifetime maximum is the amount your insurance plan will pay for covered medical expenses in the course of your lifetime. Exclusions & Limitations: Most health insurance carriers disclose exclusions & limitations of their plans. It is always a good idea to know what benefits are limited and which services are excluded on your plan. You will be obligated to pay for 100% of services that are excluded on your policy. Beginning September 23, 2010, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (health care reform) begins to phase out annual dollar limits. Starting on September 23, 2012, annual limits on health insurance plans must be at least $2 million. By 2014 no new health insurance plan will be permitted to have an annual dollar limit on most covered benefits. Some health insurance plans purchased before March 23, 2010 have what is called "grandfathered status." Health Insurance Plans with Grandfathered status are exempt from several changes required by health care reform including this phase out of annual limits on health coverage. If you purchased your health insurance policy after March 23, 2010 and you're due for a routine preventive care screening like a mammogram or colonoscopy, you may be able to receive that preventive care screening without making a co-payment. You can talk to your insurer or your licensed eHealthInsurance agent if you need help determining whether or not you qualify for a screening without a co-payment. There are five important changes that occurred with individual and family health insurance policies on September 23, 2010. Those changes are: 1. Added protection from rate increases: Insurance companies will need to publically disclose any rate increases and provide justification before raising your monthly premiums. 2. Added protection from having insurance canceled: An insurance company cannot cancel your policy except in cases of intentional misrepresentations or fraud. 3. Coverage for preventive care: Certain recommended preventive services, immunizations, and screenings will be covered with no cost sharing requirement. 4. No lifetime maximums on health coverage: No lifetime limits on the dollar value of those health benefits deemed to be essential by the Department of Health and Human Services. 5. No pre-existing condition exclusions for children: If you have children under the age of 19 with pre-existing medical conditions, their application for health insurance cannot be declined due to a pre-existing medical condition. In some states a child may need to wait for the state's open-enrollment period before their application will be approved.

http://VisionBenefits.com - This is a series of Questions and Answers to help you understand Vision Insurance. To get MORE information, go to http://VisionInsurance.com and you can get much more info. The topic of this video is: How Much Will I Have To Pay For Out-Of-Pocket Expenses? Here is some of what is discussed in this video: Charlie: I'm sure this comes up an awful lot: "How much will I have to pay out of pocket?" My company gives me a benefit, a benefit means it's something that should benefit me, why do I have to pay some things out of pocket? How much am I going to have to pay out of pocket for my top-of-the-line vision insurance company? Kathy: It depends on the type of plan that is set up between the insurance company and the employer, there are a lot of different plan designs. A top-of-the-line vision insurance company is going to have different plan designs to offer. Some employers will purchase the basic lens plan; routine eye glass exam with basic lenses covered, which would be single vision or lined bifocal lenses in glass or plastic. Polycarbonate is always covered through a top-of-the-line plan for children under the age of 19. Then there's also usually a frame allowance. Then there would be an allowance for contact lenses. You want to find out first what exactly your coverage plan is. Then if you choose to get what we call non-covered lens options -- say, for example, you're covered for a basic lined-bifocal lens, but you like a no-line progressive lens. If your plan doesn't cover the progressive no-line bifocal lens then the top-of-the-line vision insurance company is going to have in their contracts with the provider/doctor's offices the ability to control the costs on those out-of-pocket expenses for the member. What that means for the member would be if you want to purchase that progressive option on your lenses, you're not going to be paying a huge amount or even the normal retail amount on a set of those lenses. The insurance company is going to have a contract to keep those costs down lower than the normal retail rates that the doctor would charge. You want to know that up front, too. You want to always ask the provider before you agree to purchase the glasses what your out-of-pocket cost, if any, is going to be. Charlie: We could go spend $10,000 a year on vision insurance and have everything covered, but nobody does that. It's like automobile insurance, I don't go spend $10,000 so that every little nick I get is insured. The company has decided and this is how much they allow, but if I get the progressives, I'm still paid toward that even though that wasn't part of the plan? Kathy: Yes, right. You still get some money towards that. The insurance company isn't absorbing it, but they're keeping that cost down. A progressive lens might cost $300 to $450 retail, but if you at least have the coverage for the basic lined-bifocal lens and you just have to pay a little bit out of pocket, there are so many choices for progressive lenses out there, from standard progressives to premium progressives to digital progressives, you could spend between $58 and $140. Even the $140 lenses on a top-of-the-line is certainly better than $400. Charlie: Absolutely. - - - - - You know you need great vision and eye care is vital. PLUS, getting an eye exam can help determine other physical problems like MS (in addition to glaucoma and other diseases of the eyes). Companies and nonprofits often offer Vision Insurance as a benefit to their employees and associates. But not too many people know much about it, so this series was created. Complete Medicare Resource Center here: http://www.medsupsavings.com/ 877-88KEITH (53484) My Group Plan and Medicare: Understanding Your Options to Determine Which Coverage Is Best for You People want to be able to receive quality health insurance while saving as much as they can. If you are approaching your 65th birthday and you qualify for Medicare but you're still employed you probably have questions: Should I stay with my group plan and Medicare just be an option to sign up for upon leaving employment? Should I enroll in Medicare and drop my group coverage? Either way you have questions that need answers now so you know what action to take. Here are some points to help you think about your health insurance from another perspective. The Decision to Think about: Remain with Group Plan or Switch to Medicare? Upon your 65th birthday you become eligible for Medicare health insurance. This may become an issue if you decide to continue working. This is a good time to answer important questions about your healthcare needs. There are significant questions only you can answer such as who will pay for the health coverage? Do you have other people covered on your health insurance such as a spouse or dependent? How much money do you earn? These elements will play a role in helping you determine the direction you should go with your options. Answering Important Questions: Thinking about Your Group Plan vs Medicare If you are interested in Medicare coverage now is time to do your homework on both options (your group plan and Medicare). You may have another set of questions that need clear answers such as how much will you pay with your chosen Medicare plan? What part of Medicare do I have to sign up for? Can I use health insurance from my job with Medicare? These questions can be discussed with Medicare and your employer. There is a detail you can ask about if you haven't already regarding the use of Medicare with your group insurance. "When discussing matter with employer raise concerns about my group plan and Medicare." This is a thought many when comparing these options because they want to know which offers the most coverage and the best benefits. You should ask your employer about your group plan and whether it can be used with Medicare. This aspect is also referred to as credible coverage. This is when other forms of health insurance meet specific requirements of Medicare that allow the patient to retain their group insurance. An example of this would include drug coverage. Your group plan should provide prescription drug cover that is up to or exceeds standards of Medicare. If this is the case you may be able to keep your group plan and enroll in Medicare Part A or B. Should I Go with My Group Plan and Medicare be My Second Option? Keep in mind limitations apply. Looking at your personal situation and understanding how your group plan is paid for (How much does your employer pay and what do you pay?) can give insight on what your next step should be. If you decide to leave your group plan and enroll in Medicare ask about Medicare supplement insurance. ================================================== QUICK AND EASY MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT QUOTES http://www.medsupsavings.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Med-Sup-Savings/1709195569306815 Twitter: https://twitter.com/MedSupSavings LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/keith-armbrecht/5/11b/3a0 YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/BigHealthGreatWealth

Medicare covers SOME dental, vision, and hearing services, given that they are medically necessary. However, in general, Medicare does not cover most dental, vision, & hearing care, such as routine care visits. Medicare supplement insurance will cover the deductibles, coinsurance, copays, and possibly excess charges associated with Medicare-approved expenses. Your Medigap plan will not cover any DVH services not covered by Medicare. For some, it may be financially prudent to enroll in a Dental, Vision, & Hearing insurance plan outside of Medicare and Medigap. Call us at (866) 894-3258 to see if a DVH plan makes sense for you. ========== GoMedigap is a Medicare supplement (Medigap) insurance agency based in Round Rock, TX that serves over 28 states. Dental insurance, according to Suze Orman, America’s personal financial expert, is in most cases not a wise purchase. Suze says that the best way to pay for dental services is through a dental savings plan. Haven’t heard about them? Check out the special promotion that ran on HSN on 1/7/18 @ 9 PM EST. This special offer has been extended just for YouTube viewers. Here's a Q&A of Suze's experience with DentalPlans.com and dental savings plans: :DentalPlans: Suze, were you skeptical about dental savings plans when you first heard about them? Suze Orman: Of course I was! First of all - how was that possible that I had never heard of something that claims to save people money? And if it really does save people money why hadn't I heard about it? I for sure thought it was just another way to get people to buy something that did not work like the claims made by the company. Boy was I in for a rude awakening. DP: What’s your take on dental savings plans now? SO: The truth is dental savings plans are not only far more affordable to purchase than dental insurance - they can also save you more money in the long run especially if you need extensive dental work or braces. DP: Do you feel that dental insurance is still a good buy? SO: If your employer gives you dental insurance and you don't really have to pay for it in some cases it's okay. But if you need a lot of work done and have already maxed out your policy or have kids that need braces you will be shocked when you find out that most likely your dental insurance policy will not pay for it at all. So as maybe you can tell I am not a fan of dental insurance especially if you have to pay for all of it yourself. DP: What surprised you the most about dental savings plans? SO: First that they did exactly what they claimed to do which was to save me money on my dental work. At the time I purchased my dental savings plan in 2015 I already had a year where I needed quite a bit of dental work done. The problem with most dental insurance policies is they max out at $1500 per year so no way were they going to lay out a penny toward any more work that I needed. But on my next visit to the dentist my dental savings plan saved me $1400. DP: Was it easy to use your plan at the dentist? SO: Yes. I applied online, got my card in the mail, presented it at the time of checkout at my dentist’s office and saved money. And looking back, I can't believe how much money I wasted by not having a dental savings plan. If you want to save 10-60% on dental care, and not have to worry about the restrictions, limitations and exclusions associated with traditional dental insurance, check out why Suze wants you to get a dental savings plan in this video. There are different qualifications to review to ensure you qualify. You need to understand what each part covers and costs you are responsible for. There is a special period to enroll in Part B or you could pay a late enrollment penalty. Part A and Part B offer coverage for specific health services. You will be able to choose your plan based on needs. Part B has a premium you pay each month for as long as you have the plan. Qualifications to Know You are automatically eligible for Part A and B if you are receiving benefits from Social Security or the RRB (Railroad Retirement Board). If you have a disability and you’re under age 65, have ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), or receive SSI or RRB while living in Puerto Rico, you automatically qualify for Medicare. Most people who sign up for Medicare do so a few months before their 65th birthday. What to Know to Sign Up for Part A and B If you are still employed at age 65 you may qualify for Medicare. Certain health conditions also qualify you for coverage. Unique situation such as same-sex couples can also qualify under specific circumstances. You have roughly 7 months to apply for Part A and/or B. This time frame is centered on your 65th birthday. This could change if you also carry insurance through your employer. You can call Social Security Administration and complete the process over the phone. You can also get information on enrollment through Medicare.gov. Keep an eye on monthly premiums as they can change and consider signing up for a Medigap policy. ================================================== QUICK AND EASY MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT QUOTES http://www.medsupsavings.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Med-Sup-Savings/1709195569306815 Twitter: https://twitter.com/MedSupSavings LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/keith-armbrecht/5/11b/3a0 YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/BigHealthGreatWealth

http://www.disabilitydenials.com/choosing-disability-insurance.html In this video Marc Whitehead, a Board Certified Disability Attorney, discusses ten important things to consider when choosing your Long Term Disability Insurance plan. When looking through a disability insurance policy there are any things to consider. Since many disability plans offset or deduct Social Security benefits. There may be even more factors to consider when determining what disability insurance policy would be best for you. With so many different policy options, it can be hard to tell what is necessary and what isn't. To help you, we have narrowed it down to 10 things you should consider when choosing a disability policy. 1- Whether to purchase an Individual Policy or purchase a policy at work. If you are thinking of purchasing disability insurance, you may have to option of obtaining insurance coverage through your employers group insurance plan. However, most of these policies limit your enforcement of coverage because they are governed under Federal ERISA law. A better option, if you can afford it, is to purchase your own individual policy. Under this option you have the advantage of enforcing your policy should you ever need to use it. 2- The Definition of Disability There are many different ways to define disability. Most policies define a two teared definition of disability. With the definition shifting to a more difficult standard after a period of time. Initially the definition will be defined as an insured worker being unable to preform the duties and the responsibilities of their own occupation. Meaning the job they were preforming at the time of them becoming disabled. After some defined period, usually 24 months, the standard of disability will usually shift to a more difficult standard defined as an insured working being unable to preform any occupation. 3- Portability If you purchase your disability insurance through your employer, you must find out if you are able to keep that insurance if you leave the company. If you insurance is non-portable it will not follow you if you chose to leave the company. 4- The Premium Premiums vary depending on the insurance provider. Some policies allow you to lock in a premium, others don't. Also, you can get a non-cancel-able policy or a guaranteed renewal policy. 5- Cost of Living Benefits. Though cost of living is not included in most policies, adding this is definitely something you will wanna consider when making your choice on what disability insurance. Cost of living benefits are meant to provide financial stability by offering an increase in benefit over time. 6- Residual Benefits This will help you make up your income if you can only work partly. Meaning you are not able to work your previous job but you can preform a lesser paying job. Be careful because some insurance companies put restrictions on residual benefits, or tweak the definition to their liking. 7- Collection Time Period With some policies your could start collecting as soon as 30 days after your disability has been filed. The collection time can range from 30 - 700 days. 8- Coverage Changes Many policies could be changed by the insurance company at any time over the course of your coverage. This gives the insurance company the freedom to raise your coverage rates whenever they want despite whether your policy is up for renewal or not. Like wise insurance companies can change the terms of your insurance coverage without letting you renew. 9- Future Coverage Increases Although the future increase is in addition writer to your disability coverage. This is something worth considering if you think your insurance will increase over time. With this you are able to increase your monthly benefit of the policy while disregarding the status of your health. Without this policy your coverage will not protect your future income. 10- Renewability Provisions How long you can expect to be covered. A guaranteed renewable policy can't be canceled by the insurance company, even if an adjustment to a situation puts you at a greater risk. If with a guaranteed renewable policy the insurance company can still change your premium. The result raises several important issues regarding the coordination of employer provided health care benefits and the Medicare system. This medicare symposium, Transitioning into Medicare: Coordinating Medicare Coverage with Employer Provided Health Care Benefits was held on Friday April 17th in the Alcoa Room at Pitt Law. This symposium was presented by the Allegheny County APPRISE program in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Ayussh Sanghi has explained every little detail with the best examples. Must-watch for aspirants of all the major government examinations - UPSC CSE/IAS, SSC CGL, Bank PO, and more. Poverty is general scarcity or the state of one who lacks a certain amount of material possessions or money. It is a multifaceted concept, which includes social, economic, and political elements. Absolute poverty or destitution refers to the lack of means necessary to meet basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter. Absolute poverty is meant to be the same independent of location. Relative poverty occurs when people in a country do not enjoy a certain minimum level of living standards as compared to the rest of the population and so would vary from country to country, sometimes within the same country. Employment is a relationship between two parties, usually based on a contract where work is paid for, where one party, which may be a corporation, for profit, not-for-profit organization, co-operative or other entity is the employer and the other is the employee. Employees work in return for payment, which may be in the form of an hourly wage, by piecework or an annual salary, depending on the type of work an employee does or which sector she or he is working in. Employees in some fields or sectors may receive gratuities, bonus payment or stock options. In some types of employment, employees may receive benefits in addition to payment. Benefits can include health insurance, housing, disability insurance or use of a gym. Employment is typically governed by employment laws or regulations or legal contracts. The unemployment rate is a measure of the prevalence of unemployment and it is calculated as a percentage by dividing the number of unemployed individuals by all individuals currently in the labor force. During periods of recession, an economy usually experiences a relatively high unemployment rate. According to International Labour Organization report, more than 200 million people globally or 6% of the world's workforce were without a job in 2012. There remains considerable theoretical debate regarding the causes, consequences, and solutions for unemployment. Classical economics, new classical economics, and the Austrian School of economics argue that market mechanisms are reliable means of resolving unemployment. These theories argue against interventions imposed on the labor market from the outside such, as unionization, bureaucratic work rules, minimum wage laws, taxes, and other regulations that they claim discourage the hiring of workers. Keynesian economics emphasizes the cyclical nature of unemployment and recommends government interventions in the economy that it claims will reduce unemployment during recessions. This theory focuses on recurrent shocks that suddenly reduce aggregate demand for goods and services and thus reduce demand for workers. Keynesian models recommend government interventions designed to increase demand for workers; these can include financial stimuli, publicly funded job creation, and expansionist monetary policies. Its namesake economist John Maynard Keynes, believed that the root cause of unemployment is the desire of investors to receive more money rather than produce more products, which is not possible without public bodies producing new money.
