Philippines Mental Hospital

15:22
Going to this mental hospital was one of the heaviest things Ive done on my life. When first got got there i was ok but once i heard some of the stories of how some of the patients got there it broke my heart. Especially seeing young men and women rotting in cells with nothing but the cloths on there back.Unfortunately the hospital doesn't have a donation service but all the kids you have been seeing in my vlogs need help to. The kids Ive been hanging out with don't deserve some of the things that have happened to them. Just a little bit of US$ could help these girls and there children a lot! If you want to donate please click the link below even the smallest donation could help so much thank you:) https://churchatthebeachib.com/missions/new-seasons-ministry-dumaguete-city-philippines/

Mental Hospital In Mandaluyong City - How It Looks Like Inside? | I Love Tansyong TV

11:35
Let me show you how it looks like - when you're inside the National Center For Mental Health (NCMH) In Mandaluyong City , Philippines. Aka Pambansang Sentro ng Pangkaisipang Kalusugan - , is a 4200-bed psychiatric hospital occupying 47 hectares of land in the city of Mandaluyong. It is PhilHealth-accredited. Formerly known as the Insular Psychopathic Hospital, the Mandaluyong Mental Hospital, and the National Mental Hospital, was established on 17 December 1928. It was founded in order to accommodate the increasing number of mental patients and other patients with related nervous system conditions who, in 1925, were being taken cared of by two hospitals, namely the San Lazaro Hospital (in its "Insane Department") and the City Sanitarium in the Philippines. The insane asylum hospital was built under Philippine Public Works Act No. 3258 at a 64 hectare location in Barrio Mauway, Mandaluyong, Rizal near the City of Manila. Patients from the San Lazaro Hospital were transferred to the National Center for Mental Health in 1928. Patients from the City Sanitarium were transferred in 1935. The National Center for Mental Health is currently under the Department of Health of the Philippines. With the increasing number of patients being admitted, the center has resorted to soliciting donations from private sectors. Controversy There was a controversy at the NCMH in 2012 because of the unexpected death of a patient named Randy Carreon. Carreon was confined in the hospital since 1998 due to paranoid schizoprenia attributed to drug abuse. The National Bureau of Investigation got involved, but the questioned remained whether the death was a medico-legal or homicide case. Playlist: 1. BestBite - http://bit.ly/FoodTripNiTansyong 2. Struggling with Severe Mental Illness: The Story of Maisie

09:54
Sally Burke is a mother from Hull. But to see her daughter – 13-year-old Maisie – she is forced to make a 118-mile roundtrip to Sheffield, where Maisie is currently sectioned under the Mental Health Act and receiving treatment for paranoid schizophrenia. A national shortage of hospital beds means people in crisis are being shunted all over the UK for hospital care. This, tragically, includes children. If troubled young people having to wait for two years for mental health treatment wasn't bad enough, that they can often only be admitted to psychiatric wards that are miles away from their homes and families is even more terrifying. The figures surrounding the mental health of young Brits are alarming. The number of children being admitted to hospital for self-harm is at a five-year high. Admissions of girls aged 10-14 have increased by 93 percent in the last four years, to 5,953, while there's been a rise of 45 percent in boys. Within this same timeframe, NHS spending on children's mental health services in England has fallen by approximately £50 million. These have left local services in a desperate position, and the human consequence of this is felt by people like Sally and Maisie. We join the former as she makes the trek to Sheffield, its emotional toll only increased by the knowledge that just a mile away from her home is a unit that could have housed Maisie had its overnight care facility not been shut two years ago. Maisie is a short film about what happens to a family when a child is hit by severe mental health problems and a government breaks its promises. Silent | Mental Health Short Film

07:56
**TRIGGER WARNING** May be upsetting for some viewers. A film about eating disorders, depression, cyberbullying and suicide. SCREENINGS: Fresh Film Festival Regional Heats Limerick Fresh Film Festival Finals 2015 Junior Galway Film Fleadh 2015 AWARDS: Special Mention Junior Galway Film Fleadh I made this film to help raise awareness of these important issues. I feel not enough people are really aware that having an eating disorder, depression etc. is very common and that not everyone will tell you if they're suffering from it. Millions of people around the world are suffering from these mental illnesses in silence. My main idea in this film was to let you see in perspective of someone going through these. I feel I did enough research on these issues to make this film. My goal wasn't just to make a sad film but to inspire. I want people to stop being afraid of talking about depression or anorexia and to not feel uncomfortable because this will hopefully make sure people who are going through this are comfortable to talk about it. Silent shows a young girl suffering in silence and the effect of going though silence. Silent is literally a silent film that is about silence and how it can destroy someone. Disclaimer: The last scene is meant to be cryptic so if you find yourself confused to what happened in the end then you are on the right track. my goal what to let you have your own interpretation of what happens, let me know you're interpretations in the comments! Please subscribe because there will be loads more to come in the future :) Thank you for watching! Mental health in the Philippines

05:18
Mental health in the Philippines The recognition of mental health as a basic human right in the Philippines finally came to pass after the Philippine Mental Health Law (Republic Act No. 11036, or RA 11036) was signed into law on June 21, 2018. The bill was pending in Congress for almost 20 years – a stark reminder of the stigma that still permeates discussions on mental health issues by Filipinos. It was also perhaps no coincidence that the bill was signed into law on the heels of high-profile suicides that occurred one after t... --------------------- Don't Forget Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCz6hJLxgBvZsaa3_IUt5IyQ?sub_confirmation=1

Ellsie Gumban Unit 3F, First Metro Strata Building, 685 Nuevo De Febrero St, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines Welcome to my daily vlogs! TRAVEL. FOOD. COMEDY. SINGING. ANTS. LIFE. I upload a new video every day at 7AM EST! About Me: My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first Youtube channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!
