http://utahtexans.com/ Click on the link above for a free video guide to dietary supplements and alternative medicine! Today I'm going to share some really good chronic fatigue syndrome treatment. It's not true chronic fatigue syndrome or CFS for short is not an excuse to be really lazy and it's really a medical condition. This condition takes place when a person is abnormally tired for 6 months and they usually have cognitive problems. This includes things such as trouble remembering people's names and getting distracted very easily. A person could also experience head pain and even some big sadness. One of the best ways to treat any medical condition is to figure out what is causing the problem. Just like a relationship eliminating what is causing problems can improve the relationship right? Unfortunately the smartest people in the science community have had a challenging time finding the real culprit to this disease, but they do have some ideas. One idea would be problems to a person's ability to fight off viruses, harmful bacteria, diseases and this is causing the CFS. Another idea has something to do with hormones. Medical researchers have noticed that people with this health problem sometimes make fewer hormones, such as cortisol and this might negatively influence the immune system. In a nutshell the immune system is acting up. The best way to deal with CFS, improve the immune system and give yourself more energy has to do with your lifestyle. Drinking water is huge for your body's defense system and your energy levels. A lot of health experts recommend the 8 by 8 rule. Drink 8 glasses of water that are 8 ounces in size. Another idea is food. Sugary foods, energy drinks, greasy or fried foods can all sap a person's energy like a hot summer afternoon, as well as harm the immune system. The next idea that I'm going to throw your way is vital for life and some people don't get enough of them. Do you have any idea what it is? Yep being deficient in a vitamin, this can easily happen if you rely only on your diet to get them. I highly recommend a high quality multivitamin supplement. Next up uncontrolled stress can hurt the immune system and someone's quality of life. Treatments such as deep breathing, yoga, counseling and acupuncture can all help. When it comes to herbal remedies there are tons that can boost a person's immune system and help with fatigue. Something called ginseng is a really good one to take for CFS. In the medical journal Plos One researchers took 90 patients suffering from chronic fatigue and split them into 3 groups. One group received placebo pills, the second group took 1 gram of panax ginseng, and the third group received 2 grams of the same ginseng. The end result was the groups that took ginseng had significantly better mental performance compared to the placebo group. Unfortunately physical symptoms did not improve with this herb. Another idea is something called coq10. In an article published by Neuroendocrinology Letters, researchers noticed that coq 10 levels are significantly lower in individuals with chronic fatigue syndrome. A person can increase their levels of coq 10 through a dietary supplement. Supplements and alternative medicine can be confusing and even harmful. Make things really simple and give your body a HUGE edge by viewing a free video guide I created at http://utahtexans.com/.

Jonathan V. Wright MD and Dr. Nick Delgado discuss Chronic Fatigue and how to cure it. Mitochondrial function improves with two nutrients Lithium and PQQ. We address NADH also. 1. low dose Lithium using 5 to 10 mg or up to 20 mg per day to increase mitochondria replication and throw off more energy. Lithium is used for Biopolar dosages at 150 mg a day which is not needed for chronic fatigue. 2. Pyrroloquinonline Quinone (PQQ) also at 10 mg a day will assist in the mitochondria replication. Using low dose Lithium Orotate (LO) an essential trace mineral and PQQ, supports the whole energy productions process within the mitochondria. You will have more mitochondria to we have more power houses and produce more energy as ATP is thrown off as the currency of energy in every cell. 3. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) & NAD supports mitochondria complex one which is needed if there is a malfunction of mitochondria. the UK doctor mentioned is Dr. Sarah Myhill who made Lithium popular. the use low does Lithium is the difference. Dr. Shorter wrote "Before Prozac: The troubled history of mood disorders in psychiatry. Oxford University Press 2009. Shepherd said English psychiatry did not distinguish between psychogenic and endogenous depression. Yet the use of low dose lithium here is not for depression it is for energy production. High dose Lithium gave this trace mineral a bad reputation because at excessive dosages there can be side effects such as a higher risk of kidney problems, hypo or hyperthyroidism, and hypercalcemia. Only 10% at high dosages of lithium gained weight. Keep in mind these two supplements will not address those eating very high fat diets which cause high triglycerides leading to dangerously thick blood, reducing oxygen to the brain by over 30% for 12 hours after every fatty sugary meal. http://fitlife.tv/chronic-fatigue-is-in-your-gut-not-your-head-saturday-strategy/ Has your doctor told you that your chronic fatigue symptoms are all in your head? Have you felt like you’ve been trudging through different treatments and remedies only to keep waking up tired every day? Physicians have long been mystified by what they call “chronic fatigue syndrome”... the name they’ve dubbed for their patients who complain of constant debilitating fatigue that isn’t improved after rest. My supplements regime in dealing with the debilitating myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and recovery from it. We cannot also forget Fibromyalgia in this equation as all these are strongly linked in their origin. There has been an evolution of knowledge over time, and as my other supplements video was over 2 years ago now it was time to give you an update on my newest armory in the quest for full recovery from ME/CFS! This video answers a huge volume of questions that I have been asked on social media about what brands I use and of course the effect that these new B1, B2, B3 (NADH) B12 and PQQ additions have had to my general well-being, health and achievement of overall wellness. Brain fog has all but cleared, energy levels have gone through the roof and I can confidently hold a conversations with anyone as my anxiety and physiological symptoms have subsided. A full recovery from CFS/ME beckons! Remember no single tablet is a silver bullet in isolation - collectively these work well as they compliment different biological targets in the body - but lets be honest, most help the ATP generation from your energy factories, the mitochondria. The whole journey to recovery has been an aggregation of marginal gains, expect this...step by step work out what works for you and do it more. Slowly find the things that upset the fine balance of the body and eliminate it - you're in for a bumpy ride, I make no illusion about it being any different, but if you wish to cure or recover from ME/CFS, a full 360o commitment is required to defeat it...and these supplements were so vital in my journey. I have managed to stay in work throughout my illness (full time in my role as Head of Faculty - Science and a Leading Practitioner in the educational field, training staff in schools as part of my role) and despite being almost 38 years old, I almost now feel better and stronger than I did when I became ill nearly 7 years ago. This video offers some golden rules, new top tips and deeper strategies for recovery to help you beat this horrendous disease and alleviate all symptoms, bringing you back to good health. Remember all supplements can be purchased through Amazon, just ensure that all your tablets contain no gluten or soya preferably as this will only make the situation worse. You will notice a lot of mine come from Holland and Barratt (UK based) so that may be a point of purchase for you if you find this easier. So to summarise - I take the following supplements daily: NADH (Active form of B3) D Ribose Magnesium Digestive enzymes Co Q10 Probiotics Fish Oils Turmeric Candida support (including caprylic acid) B1 B2 B12 PQQ Can you cure chronic fatigue? Yes - 100% you can. Why can I say this with such authority, because I have nearly done it myself. I have advised hundreds of people in life about this disease (all of which have shown improvement) and of course educated thousands through my professional career. A MSc in Nutritional Medicine/Functional Medicine beckons in future...just to let you know :). Will keep you posted. Supplements part 1 video is listed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CSos2-PArQ&t=3s Dr Sarah Myhills website for Transdermal B12 spray is here: http://www.salesatdrmyhill.co.uk/transdermal-b12-spray-50ml-48-p.asp My previous videos provide a journey through my recovery story dealing with the personal triggers to ME/CFS, my recovery timescale and some hints and tips that helped me become well again. Health and well-being, never losing hope during the process of healing, supplements and diet being are the most powerful weapons to wield in this fight. Chronic Fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis has been the biggest battle anyone could ever hope to fight, let alone overcome. My catalog of debilitating symptoms included (of course) fatigue, as well as persistent headaches, fibromyalgia causing systemic pain, brain fog, an inability to speak, walk and sometimes talk as well as a variety of neurological symptoms compounded the whole condition whilst creating such fear that this could be something more sinister (MS/myasthenia gravis - both of which I was tested for).I managed to fight through the condition, retaining full-time employment throughout and now getting to a position where improvements are seen daily and new things are always discovered. My recovery has been focused on a variety of aspects, but the most potent aspects involved giving up gluten and most powerfully, taking supplements. Anything you need in terms of help, advice on these golden rules and remedies for recovery or assistance please do not hesitate to get in touch. I am here to support you in your quest for good health and optimum performance. Wishing you wellness and good health always. Keep fighting - you WILL get there. Wishing you health and healing always.

Chronic fatigue syndrome is a chronic illness characterized by extreme fatigue that lasts for more than six months. This fatigue cannot be explained away by an underlying medical condition. In fact, one of the disease’s principal challenges is that it’s impossible to diagnose with laboratory tests. However, some physicians believe it is closely related to adrenal fatigue or system-wide inflammation of the body. In this episode of Ancient Medicine Today, Jordan Rubin shares 5 steps to overcome chronic fatigue syndrome. By eliminating certain foods, getting enough vitamins and nutrients and incorporating more peace and relaxation into your lifestyle, you can help beat the fatigue and regain your energy. Read the full blog post here: https://freshbodymind.com/best-natural-foods-supplements-kick-chronic-fatigue/ Everyone finds it difficult to drag ourselves out of bed from time to time. But for those suffering with chronic fatigue, it can be a daily struggle. With no known cure, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) can leave sufferers exhausted, depressed and frustrated. But thankfully, natural foods and supplements can support the mind and body in boosting energy, building immunity, and banishing chronic fatigue for good. What is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? There is no one cause of CFS, which is part of the reason doctors so often struggle to treat it effectively. But whether it’s triggered by food allergies or an immune disorder, the overarching symptom is the same: debilitating tiredness. Other common symptoms include: Brain fog Sore throat Tender lymph nodes Muscle pain Joint pain Headaches Mood changes Low grade fever Tackling Chronic Fatigue with Natural Foods and Supplements While chronic fatigue syndrome is often treated with drug therapies, research has shown that diet can play a huge role in relieving and managing symptoms. Here are six of the most powerful holistic remedies and fatigue-busting superfoods for beating chronic fatigue. Ashwagandha Also called ‘Indian ginseng’, Ashwagandha is an important herb in Ayurvedic medicine. Believed to prolong life, fight disease and help the body and mind adapt to stress, this superfood can also provide relief from CFS. According to Alakananda Devi, director of the Alandi Ayurvedic Clinic in Boulder, Ashwagandha is so effective because it boosts the neurological and muscular functions of chronic fatigue sufferers, as well as helping regulate sleep cycles and reduce stress and depression. Vitamin B12 B vitamins play an important role in metabolizing energy, making them a useful tool in the battle against chronic fatigue. One particular study at Sweden’s Gothenburg University found that patients given a weekly dose of vitamin B12 reported a greater sense of well-being and happiness, as well as a definite improvement in their levels of fatigue. Maca Used in South American medicine for thousands of years, maca is a powerful superfood that regulates hormones while boosting energy levels. Loaded with tiredness-zapping complex B vitamins and trace minerals, it’s not surprising that it can also be an effective treatment for CFS. But it’s not all about the B vitamins – maca also contains a number of compounds that stimulate the hypothalamus and pituitary glands, which go on to help the adrenal and thyroid glands. Rhodiola Like Ashwagandha, rhodiola is an adaptogenic herb – meaning it helps your mind and body adapt to the stresses and strains of everyday life. As well as offering general defense from stress, rhodiola also boasts fatigue-fighting properties. So how does it work? Well, studies have shown that rhodiola has the unique ability to rebalance monoamines – a type of neurotransmitter that some researchers believe may be out of balance in CFS patients. The result is higher energy levels and a clearer mind. Ginseng Tea Herbal teas are a time-honored approach to restoring the body’s natural balance, and in the case of CFS they can be really effective. Thanks to its immune-boosting properties, ginseng tea is a particularly good choice. In one test tube study, scientists found that both ginseng and Echinacea increased the immune response in cells taken from people with CFS, suggesting it could play an active role in fighting fatigue and repairing immunity. For more info: https://draxe.com/3-steps-to-heal-adrenal-fatigue/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Nov-2014&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=adrenalfatigue In this video, I’m going to walk you through the steps to overcome adrenal fatigue. Most fatigue problems and adrenal insufficiency come from issues with the adrenal glands. About 80% of the population deals with this common problem. There are several warning signs that indicate you may have adrenal fatigue. If you struggle with fatigue, are stressed, anxious, have trouble with concentration, poor memory, thyroid issues, or gained mysterious weight, you may have adrenal fatigue. There are three steps you will want to take to get rid of adrenal fatigue for good. The first starts with your diet. Foods to get out of your diet are caffeine, sugar, and hydrogenated oils. Foods that are high in vitamin B12 and magnesium are going to support your adrenal glands and blood sugar levels, so you will want to add these foods into your diet. Foods like coconut oil, coconut milk, coconut, olives, olive oil, raw dairy products, grass-fed butter, organic meats, loads of vegetables, and seaweed are all crucial to your diet as well. Secondly, you will want to support your adrenals by taking supplements like adaptogenic herbs (such as ashwagandha, holy basil, and licorice root), which will help your body adapt and deal with stress. Additionally, a vitamin B complex, magnesium, vitamin D, selenium will support the healing of your adrenals. Lastly, you should focus on lowering your stress levels. Try getting 8-10 hours of sleep a night, reflect and address your stressors, add fun activities into your routine, and exercise. If you follow these three steps, you will be well on your way to naturally healing adrenal fatigue. Listen to the full episode here: http://bengreenfieldfitness.libsyn.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-beating-chronic-fatigue-with-specific-vitamins-minerals-biohacks-more-a-conversation-with-dr-sarah-myhill This month, I read two of the better books I've read lately on functional medicine, chronic fatigue and health concepts that it seems not many people are talking about these days. In other words, I folded over a lot of pages in these books! Both were written by the same author: Dr. Sarah Myhill. Doctor Sarah Myhill is a British doctor running her own specialist M.E. clinic in Knighton Wales, United Kingdom. Her website is an extensive resource of articles and information based on her treatment of patients, and runs to 920 webpages with over 6 million individual visits. Dr. Myhill's view is that the disease is characterised by a cellular metabolic mitochondrial dysfunction and has published several studies. Dr. Myhill has treated in excess of 10,000 CFS/ME sufferers over her 30 year career. The first book, "Sustainable Medicine: whistle-blowing on 21st century medical practice", is based on the premise that twenty-first century Western medicine—driven by vested interests—is failing to address the root causes of disease. Symptom-suppressing medication and “polypharmacy” have resulted in an escalation of disease and a system of so-called “health care,” which more closely resembles “disease care.” In this book, author Dr. Sarah Myhill aims to empower people to heal themselves by addressing the underlying causes of their illness. She presents a logical progression from identifying symptoms, to understanding the underlying mechanisms, to relevant interventions and tests and tools with which to tackle the root causes. She writes: “It’s all about asking the question ‘why?’” Sustainable Medicine covers a wide range of symptoms including inflammation (infection, allergy, autoimmunity), fatigue, pain, toxic symptoms, deficiency symptoms, and hormonal symptoms. And Dr. Myhill includes a toolbox of treatments for specific illnesses and ailments, as well as a general approach to avoiding and treating all disease. Finally, she offers a series of case histories to show how people have successfully taken control of their health and healed even in the face of the most discouraging symptoms—all without the harmful interventions of 21st century Western medicine. The second book, "Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Myalgic Encephalitis " is just as good. In this book, details the practical application of her successful and comprehensive treatment approach for CFS/ME. Key chapters include: -The clinical picture of CFS: CFS symptoms list, medical tests for chronic fatigue -Mitochondria and chronic fatigue syndrome: energy powerhouse, mitochondrial failure, implications for major organs, vital tests -Treating mitochondrial failure -Foundations for recovery - the Dr Myhill CFS protocol with tips for CFS help: rest and pacing, vitamins and minerals, Vegepa for CFS, sleep, diet, allergies, digestion, detoxification & antioxidants -Related health issues: avoiding viral infections, hormonal disturbances in CFS, the contraceptive pill and HRT, oxygen supply, psychological aspects of CFS, the right exercise -Toxic and viral causes of CFS: chemical poisoning, chronic infections, pain -Practical CFS help: where to start (rest, nutritional supplements, Vegepa for ME, sleep, stone age diet, treating mitochondrial dysfunction, correcting hormones, detoxing, avoiding infections) During our discussion, you'll discover: -Dr. Myhill's overall philosophy of medicine...6:45 -How Dr. Myhill tests mitochondrial function, and why she feels it's so important...15:30 -What is myalgic encephalitis and how is it any different from chronic fatigue syndrome...21:10 -Why Dr. Myhill uses a fat biopsy to test for detoxification...23:30 -Dr. Myhill's infatuation with Vitamin C and how she uses it to treat chronic fatigue...26:30 -Why Dr. Myhill administers a lot of intravenous magnesium to her patients...33:00 -The fascinating link between the fermenting gut and chronic fatigue...40:15 -What allergic muscles are, and how they are linked to fibromyalgia...51:00 -At the very end of the book, Dr. Myhill has a recipe for live cultures, and why she's not a fan of probiotics...52:00 -Dr. Myhill's recipe for linseed-Paleo-ketogenic bread...54:00 -Why Dr. Myhill focuses on the acid-alkali balance...56:00 -And much more! My Symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Are Gone Symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome affect over 1 million people each year. CFS as it is commonly referred to is tough to diagnose because it’s symptoms don’t seem to have any underlying causes. Heidi was experiencing extreme fatigue and struggled with a weak immune system. Nicole came to the clinic with joint pain, fatigue, and very poor functioning. What is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? CFS is marked by extreme exhaustion, fatigue, sleeping issues, pain and a host of other symptoms that seem to worsen with exertion. It is a long-term condition that primarily effects women. The causes of the disease are relatively unknown, although recent research has identified some promising chemical characteristics that may lead to faster diagnosis and treatment. The cause of CFS is unknown but some common triggers are stress, viral infections and weak immune systems. Because the cause is unclear, diagnosis is often difficult which delays treatment. Often, multiple tests are needed to confirm a CFS diagnosis. To be diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, your tiredness must be severe enough to decrease your ability to participate in ordinary activities by 50%. Symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome While getting a timely and accurate diagnosis of CFS is challenging, a list of common symptoms can help sufferer’s determine the possibility of having the disease. Common symptoms include: Fatigue Loss of memory or concentration Sore throat Enlarged lymph nodes in your neck or armpits Unexplained muscle pain Pain that moves from one joint to another without swelling or redness Headache of a new type, pattern or severity Unrefreshing sleep Extreme exhaustion lasting more than 24 hours after physical or mental exercise Successful treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Heidi is a young woman getting ready to attend college and needed to get over the condition that had plagued her for several years. After several treatments of Vitamin C IV, ozone, and the antiviral supplement program she feels amazing and ready to attack school. Superhero Supreme for Symptoms of Chronic Fatigue SyndromeOne of the primary treatments Heidi used was taking the Superhero Supreme dietary supplement. Superhero Supreme Vita/Min contains optimal amounts of many nutrients not easily obtained in most diets. It uses higher quality ingredients than most multivitamins, including vitamin E as high gamma mixed-tocopherols, our proprietary NatureFolate™ blend of active isomer naturally-occurring folates, and TRAACS® true amino acid chelate minerals for optimal tolerance and absorption. Superhero Supreme Nutritional InformationTaken twice daily, this Vita/Min gives your system the boost it needs to overcome the symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

VinciHealth.com: Intravenous infusions of vitamins and minerals provide an excellent way to deliver required nutrients to the tissues in a highly bioavailable form. In my practice, I use intravenous infusions to treat a range of disorders including chronic fatigue, migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, stress, insulin resistance, diabetes, high blood pressure, alcohol withdrawal, and acute viral illness or frequent colds. I also use them to support weight loss programs. Chronic fatigue is not a disease but rather a consequence of various conditions—physical, psychological, and emotional. Some cases are obvious, such as vitamin deficiency, anemia, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, insomnia, or even a stressful work environment. Other cases are not so clear, and may be the result of insulin resistance, hidden food allergies, hormonal imbalances, environmental toxin exposure, anxiety, dysbiosis, or chronic viral, bacterial, or fungal infection. I always look for the cause of chronic fatigue in my patients. This might require some medical detective work, as many of the causes of chronic fatigue are inconspicuous and frequently missed. I have found that intravenous vitamin infusions in the form of a Meyers' solution are especially helpful in the case of migraines. A Meyers' cocktail is a combination of B-complex vitamins (B5, B6, and B12), vitamin C, magnesium, and calcium gluconate. Sometimes patients report relief in minutes. Depending on the condition being treated, most patients require a vitamin infusion once or twice a week for a designated period, while some patients report significant improvement after the first vitamin infusion.

This is the original video on supplements (taken in September 2015 - that I accidentally deleted) dealing with the supplements I swear by that have aided my (near full) recovery from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The disease ME/CFS has burdened by life for the last 6 years, a living nightmare being the central theme of the condition throughout. What is however taught me was to survive, to utilise all tools at my disposal to combat every last one of the symptoms that would present themselves on a daily basis. I fight every day to cure the condition and completely remedy the illness completely. I strive for 100% well-being an good health daily. Myalgic encephalomyelitis has been the number one biggest challenge I have faced to date which I could not have overcome unless I treated every symptom from the biological perspective of mitochondrial support. All supplements listed here have been transformative to my health and wellness, helping me to recover to a point where i almost feel stronger and healthier than I have for years. I have lost a stone in weight and my psychological improvements were vast through the process, all but dispelling the horrendous brain fog. I can now think straight, walk properly, talk with fluidity of thought and exercise every day (15 minutes or so) with 2 hours of badminton a week. I have managed to stay in work throughout the condition, working full time as a Head of Faculty for Science (specialising in Biology as my doctrine) and now train staff in my field. I am also part of the admin team at 'The Community for Hope and Recovery from ME/CFS/FM' a wonderful group on Facebook which helps people along with their own recovery from these conditions. So to summarise - I take the following supplements daily: NADH D Ribose PQQ (not on this video - but a video to follow soon on this little powerhouse) CDP Choline Magnesium Digestive enzymes Co Q10 Probiotics Fish Oils Turmeric Candida support (including caprylic acid) A mineral blend (though be careful with iodine in these products - very dangerous if your take too much!) So there it is, my comprehensive support. I would like to add this this isn't it - all changes such as giving up drinking alcohol, smoking, artificial sweeteners and taking up yoga was also instrumental in my recovery journey. A HUGE piece in the jigsaw of recovery was giving up gluten also - please watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CWXX2xr9xc for more information about this aspect of healing related to your diet and please also watch a video I have cited here about NADH from Professor Birkmayer who speaks about the power of this wondrous supplement here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JN-yhGrkvYA I wish you all the best with your complete health and healing. When you start strengthening your mitochondria you will see that you r energy levels rise. Watch this to find out how. In this podcast, I speak with Dr. Sarah Myhill, who is a world-renowned chronic fatigue expert. Dr. Myhill is not on the podcast circuit and you've probably never heard of her before. That's because she doesn't really have an online presence -- she is a clinician and researcher on the front lines of treating people with fatigue. And she has been on the cutting-edge of that for decades now. That's what I love about her. She's not only developed some amazing protocols for healing people with fatigue, but she has also done breakthrough game-changing research in this field. We get into all that in the interview. Of all physicians specializing in this area, I believe that Dr. Myhill has probably the most impressive understanding of the causes of fatigue and how to fix it. Below are the interview time codes for where we talk about specific subjects: Why modern western medicine is failing us (3:25) Why fatigue is an imbalance of energy generation and energy demand (4:20) Why your body is like a car (6:10) How we spend half our energy we spend just on staying alive (8:32) Sarah's take on the holes in our body's energy bucket (9:17) Why the adrenals are not the primary cause of fatigue (12:25) How a poor energy delivery can cause common symptoms of fatigue (13:05) How chronic fatigue syndrome and infections cause Myalgic Encephalitis (15:00) How practitioners are terribly influenced by their personal experiences when it comes to treating patients (15:50) Why she named her book: It's Mitochondria, Not Hypochondria (19:23) The connection between ME and chronic fatigue syndrome (25:45) Her thoughts on whether people with "adrenal fatigue" have got mitochondrial dysfunction (26:10) The most basic lifestyle interventions gets people a long way in boosting recovery (26:40) Why the heart suffers when you have a poor mitochondrial function. (27:25) The preferred dietary fuel for mitochondria (28:32) Why a good diet and a good gut function is so important (32:03) Challenges with the ketogenic diet (34:44) How Hypothyroidism can cause problems when following a ketogenic diet (36:35) How to get around the challenge when the body cannot cope with a ketogenic diet (37:40) Sarah explains hypothyroidism and why lifestyle is causing of thyroid issues (38:13) Why 50% of the world's population might suffer from insulin resistant diabetes by 2030 (41:40) How nutrient deficiencies causes mitochondrial dysfunction. http://cfs-cure.plus101.com Cure For Cfs, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Treatment Vitamins, Me And Cfs, Cfs Pain. Cure CFS Naturally Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, or CFS, is a debilitating condition that is characterized by chronic fatigue and mental exhaustion. The disorder interrupts daily life and can result in total disability, leaving sufferers with a great number of devastating emotions, including pain, anxiety, a lack of self-worth, anger and apathy. CFS is a complex illness affecting the brain and multiple body systems. Individuals suffer profound fatigue and a number of symptoms, which can include: • Debilitating exhaustion lasting six months and longer • Trouble sleeping • Impaired mental concentration and / or memory • Flu-like symptoms including nausea, chronic cough headaches, and muscle aches, • Feeling ill after exercise or physical activity Although there are currently no prescription drug therapies specifically for chronic fatigue syndrome, there are a wide range of medications to help manage symptoms. In addition, there are a number of alternative approaches that can bring about tremendous improvements in the lives of CFS patients. Diet Diet is crucial in CFS, as the disease is either causes or aggravated by poor dietary habits and vitamin imbalances. A proper diet will energize the patient, improve concentration, and facilitate restful sleep. A number of dietary supplements are also recommended for patients. Memory Aids One common symptom of chronic fatigue syndrome is memory impairment and confusion which may be helped with the use of memory aids. For example, using flash cards or pictures can help individuals cope with memory difficulties. Rest If you have CFS, you need at least eight hours of restful sleep, period. If you suffer from insomnia or wake up un-refreshed after sleep, there are a number of tactics that can facilitate sleep and natural supplements and herbs that can help. Planning Your Daily Activity Level Chronic fatigue syndrome is an unpredictable and constantly changing disorder. Individuals will have their up days and down days, and planning activities can be difficult. One means for an individual suffering from CFS to gauge how the illness is affecting them on any given day is by taking a quick walk when they first rise in the morning. This will alert the individual as to how their body reacts to physical activity on that particular day. Doing so can be a great means to manage CFS as the individual can determine necessary measures that should be taken on that particular day to help them manage and cope with their physical symptoms. Is There An Actual Cure For CFS? Most doctors are of the opinion that CFS can not be cured, but only managed. However, many persons have been cured of CFS, and the vast majority of these have done this without the help of medications. For the first time ever, a former sufferer of CFS (and a health consultant and nutritionist by profession) has complied all the information on CFS cures and perfected it over 5 years in a step-by-step system called "The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Solution™ - Free Yourself From CFS, Naturally". This is the same system that has now been used successfully from thousands of CFS sufferers all over the globe; indeed a quick google search for "The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Solution™" turns up countless positive reviews. This video testimonial is from an 80 year patient of Dr. Thomas Griffith. She has suffered from chronic fatigue which was found to be dramatically responsive to nutritional solutions including dietary changes and IV Myer's pushes. Hazel recounts the dramatic shift in energy she experienced after receiving only a few vitamin pushes in Dr. Griffith's clinic Vital HealthCare in Olympia Wa. Dr. Griffith treats patients with the Myer's push on a routine basis and has seen numerous cases similar to Hazel's. The Myer's consists of high doses of Vitamin C, a concentrated mix of B vitamins, and a combination of minerals including Magnesium, zinc and others depending on the patient's needs. The myers cocktail has been used widely by alternative physicians and more information about its effect and safety is easily found doing an internet search including a peer reviewed article in the Alternative Medicine Review.

Thanks for supporting us! This is in part 2 of our videos about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, also called Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and other names. I have had CFS/FM most of my life and here’s what I do to try to control it. How we cope with CFS/Fibromyalgia article I mentioned in the video: https://www.livingonadime.com/how-to-cope-with-chronic-fatigue-syndrome-and-fibromyalgia/ Link to essential oils for sleep: http://sparknaturals.com/index.php/bl-dream.html You can see part 1, About Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0ENd3zNKfo Here are some of the points we discuss in this video: 0:13 When we first got married, Mike didn’t really understand how serious my chronic illness was. 0:39 Mike’s experience realizing what chronically ill really meant. 2:49 Tawra: When we got to Idaho where it was cooler and the humidity was low, I was able to perk up a little bit. 2:58 Mike: I didn’t really recognize until we had been married 10-12 years how to really recognize when Tawra was sick. 4:10 Mike: I started to recognize that when Tawra has a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome flare, she gets really pale and when that happens, the Alka-Seltzer helps. Tawra talks about Alka-Seltzer. 5:10 So with the CFS, Tawra will be pale and laying around with a strange expression on her face like she’s not present at all. 5:31 What Fibromyalgia looks like 6:11 The Fibromyalgia is a muscle problem so rubbing helps a lot. 6:23 Restless leg syndrome. 6:48 Learning to distinguish between the CFS and the Fibromyalgia 6:58 My tips to what I use to help me feel better. 7:30 Most recently, I spent $10,000 going to a functional medicine doctor. He helped some but I don’t know if it was worth the money. 8:12 For Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, the thing that helps me the most is sleep. The 3 most important things to keep CFS under control are are sleep, staying away from stress and not exercising too heavily. 8:34 It’s hard because getting sleep is difficult when you’re ill. 8:47 I tried prescription sleeping medications and antidepressants, but the side effects were completely intolerable so I stay away from them. Mike had to tell me to stop because I didn’t realize how bad I was. 9:26 I don’t use antidepressants but they do help some people. 9:40 I take NADH, an amino acid. 11:33 Things that help my Fibromyalgia. 12:43 About sleep and what I’ve tried to help me sleep better 16:03 Pain medications - I mostly use over the counter pain medications. 17:29 Stretching helps my Fibromyalgia. Light exercise also helps, but too much exercise inflames my CFS. 20:54 Neuromuscular massage 22:10 Hot baths. http://lyfenutrition.com ^^Get Your FREE E-book Here^^ In my research on lyme disease, it seems as though there is another ailment that comes up a lot; Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Many people who are diagnosed with Lyme Disease, are diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. (CFS) CFS is like feeling tired, achy, and drained 24/7 no matter what you do. Physical exertion can make it even worse, so usually people with CFS just don’t want to do anything. They’re just too tired, and they don’t know why. All of these nasty symptoms are similar to that of lyme disease and makes patients feel like they’re in a living hell. They don’t know how to fix it, likely because they don’t know where it came from to begin with. I would imagine it’s hard. If you don’t even feel like you can get out of bed, what’s going to make you feel like you can fix your syndrome? CFS is commonly thought to be caused by adrenal fatigue, or inflammation within the body. While there is no cure for CFS, there are some nutritional habits that can help fix adrenal fatigue, and get rid of inflammation in the body. My favorite article on the subject is that of Dr. Axe. In it, he gives 4 steps for how to combat CFS. I’d like to share those with you today. Eliminate Food Sensitivities or Allergens Research points to food sensitivities causing CFS. A large number of people who experience IBS (Irritable Bowl Syndrome) also have chronic fatigue syndrome. That points clearly to CFS being in direct correlation with inflammation and food sensitivities. Gluten - Today, gluten sensitivities are very common. People from all walks of life have celiac disease, or an acute version of gluten sensitivity in their body. When they consume gluten it causes inflammation which leads to CFS. Increase Vitamin B Intake Recently, research has found a direct link between reduced vitamin B levels and CFS. Vitamin B6 - B6 helps to prevent and relieve fatigue. It also helps support the immune system making it a good choice because many doctors believe that CFS stems from other infections that need to be fought off. B6 can help fight off infections and keep your energy levels up. Vitamin B12 - The body needs B6, folate, and B12 in order for methylation to occur. Methylation is the process in which methyl compounds are used in critical functions in the body which helps you process toxins, make hormones, and helps the production of certain neurotransmitters. It’s estimated that nearly 40% of Americans have a vitamin B-12 deficiency. This causes symptoms such as a lack of motivation, low energy, poor focus, mood swings, and fatigue. Vitamin B-12 can boost energy, reduce depression, and precent against neurological problems. Vegetarians and vegans tend to lack vitamin B-12 because it is found in animal products such as cows, sardines, tuna, raw cheese, lamb, milk, eggs, and wild salmon. B vitamins are an extremely important part of trying to heal chronic fatigue syndrome! Increase Magnesium and Potassium Intake People with chronic fatigue tend to have low magnesium levels. In one study, patients were treated with magnesium supplements and reported improved energy levels, a more balanced emotional state, and less pain. Magnesium rich foods include spinach, chard, pumpkin seeds, yogurt, kefir, almonds, black beans, avocados, figs, dark chocolate, and bananas. It’s estimated that nearly 80% of Americans are currently magnesium deficient! If you have lyme disease, you probably need to supplement with magnesium, because lyme bacteria feeds on magnesium. Potassium helps balance the bodies electrolytes. Potassium rich foods include avocados, spinach, sweet potatoes, coconut water, kefir, yogurt, white beans, bananas, acorn squash, dried apricots, and mushrooms. Potassium deficiency leads to fatigue, irritability, and muscle cramps. Try eating potassium rich foods to relieve the symptoms. Build Peace and Relax The last step to heal from CFS is to Build Peace and Relax. Try to commit to resting fully at least one day a week where you have no commitments scheduled. Get a full nights sleep every night. People with CFS should try to avoid any stimulants such as caffeine, alcohol, or tobacco which can cause restlessness at night. Take some vacation time to relax and repair. It’s a good idea to get a change of scenery and allow the mind and body to restore from the daily grind. Rest, Relax, and chill in order to let the body heal itself after changing your diet. Make sure to continue to use this new diet until you feel completely better.
