Often people are easily convinced and because of their gullibility they fall for the trick that you can shred up your body within a month or less by buying a pill or magic tonic. Even though you can have a remarkable before and after weight loss transformation within a month, it will probably not be to the extent that Christina changed her body. I've personally seen weight loss success stories that happen very fast, but really there's a only one factor that separates the success stories from the not so successful. That one factor is consistent workouts and proper nutrition habits over a long period of time.That's right time is very important and you will get nowhere without putting in the time. When Christina first came in to gravity training zone and I sat down and spoke to her, I told her that she could achieve her dream of competing in a bikini contest within 16 weeks. Even though I didn't tell her that she could make her weight loss transformation in a month, boy was I wrong about the 16 weeks. This is usually a standard prep time for bikini contests. However, Christina needed a lot more work than what I originally had thought. Her weight loss before and after pictures were only possible because she consistently put in the work over time and did not cheat. Christina did end up competing and doing fabulously, but it took her almost twice as much time as I had originally anticipated. To join our other before and after weight loss success stories she had to commit to 30 weeks of hard work. 30 weeks is a long time. It's half of a whole year. These are real results, and time is clearly a crucial factor in her growth. Many people get lost in their fitness journey because they forget that it takes time to make that weight loss transformation. There is no product that you can buy that will make up for time and hard work put toward your goal. Even though I did work with Christina here and there, I did not spend as much time with her as Nicolette, her gravity trainer that worked with her every week. Although Nicollette has helped others with their before and after weight loss success stories this transformation was special to her and the Gravity team. And they build you up so the next time you have a moment of weakness, you know others have overcome it, and that means you can too. Im not saying it has to be a support group or workout group, although those sometimes work better because they are actually going through the same struggles. But it could be a friend or coworker, anyone really. But, you need someone to know your goals, it holds you accountable. Because they aren't going to buy your lame excuses and you are going to let them down if you decide to quit. That's one reason people workout with personal trainers or go to fitness classes, because they are now held responsible for their actions and people are expecting them to show up. No cancelling your workout last minute because you just don't feel like. The greatest workout in the world doesn't help if you never actually do it. Calories in vs calories out is key. Figure out how many calories you burn in a day and how much you typically eat everyday. Healthy food vs unhealthy food - healthy food is more nutrient dense which will keep you fuller for longer. Helps with making sure your calories are in a deficit! Unhealthy food makes it super easy to over consume. Healthy food has many benefits for metabolism, gut health, and the skin! Routine- figuring out what kind of routine is super important in being consistent with healthy eating and working out. Figure out what kind of foods are easy to take to work so you don’t get off track and keeps you full. Figure out if you like working out in the morning or night. Stress- stress can increase your cortisol levels which then can cause a disruption in proper digestion and metabolism you are putting into your body. Figure out what stressors are in your life to decrease the levels of stress to maximize weight loss results. Eating speed- it’s true that eating slow can help with feeling fuller and also not putting the body in stressed state. Try mindful eating to really know what food you are putting into your body. Macronutrient balance- I suggest to eat a well rounded diet that includes carbs,proteins, and fats. Why? Because each macronutrient contributes different benefits to the body. While one normally would expect a woman to write a book that it just for women, John Barban is very knowledgeable about the subject. As a matter of fact, the author has a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in human biology and nutrition from the University of Guelph, which is in Ontario Canada. In this Venus Factor System review, I will explain what this program is all about and whether or not this is something that a woman might really benefit from. The Venus Factor System is a weight management program for women that takes twelve weeks to complete. Some people may question the fact why this is a women only program. The truth is that women and men are built differently and so the metabolism of a woman does not work exactly the same as the metabolism of a man. Is view of these subtle differences, an effective weight loss solution for men does not necessarily mean that it is an effective weight loss solution for women. Although one may think that it is easier for men to put on weight then women, the truth is the opposite. Nature has built women in such a way to keep larger deposits of fat in the body when compared for men. In view of this, it is usually harder for women to lose weight when compared to men. The majority of diet programs are usually written by men and marketed as being suitable for men and women alike. The problem is that most of the products do not take into consideration the physical differences between men and women. The program comprises of a set of fitness routines as well as a diet program. Women will be pleased to know that the author does not preach eliminating all the "bad" foods completely from one's diet and never to look at them again. I've had many clients tell me that their daily exercise puts them in a "healthy" frame of mind and helps them to make better food choices. Bottom line, when you are exercising consistently, youreating habits are better. I firmly believe that a major factor in most peoples frustration with weight loss is that they haven't been told the truth about exercise. You see, twenty minutes, three days per week isn't going to cut it for weight loss. If you're serious about weight loss, then you have to get serious about exercise. Losing weight will not make you happy, clever, funny, beautiful or lovable; you are already all of these. The primary aim of this session is to improve your relationship with your body and with food. If this is your first-time listening to this session, please ensure you read the information below before you begin. Before starting an intermittent fasting plan, please ensure to research all the necessary information on 16:8 Intermittent Fasting. It is important to understand clearly how to follow this plan and make sure to adopt an eating regime that is both healthy and beneficial. This session does not outline specifics and vital information about nutritional requirements and you must explore this fully by either seeking appropriate advice from a nutritionist and/or reading books specifically for Intermittent Fasting. As the name implies, intermittent fasting involves building in a relatively long period of not eating over a 24 hour. This hypnotherapy session works on developing a 16 hour fasting period, most of which will be while you sleep. However, you must ensure to drink plenty of fluids throughout the 24 hour period. By maintaining, and sometimes increasing your fluid intake you reduce any uncomfortable side effects as you adjust to an intermittent fasting plan and more easily and naturally stick to the fasting period. Ensure that you drink plenty of fluids such as water, herbal teas, sugar-free drinks, diet sodas, teas with caffeine, decaffeinated teas and decaffeinated coffees. If it helps, you can include coffee with caffeine, but you will find that over time, as you limit or completely stop drinking caffeinated coffee altogether, you naturally balance your insulin levels and balanced insulin levels greatly reduces and sometimes completely eliminates food cravings. There is great freedom experienced, both emotionally and physically by limiting your intake of caffeinate coffee. The most important factor in successful intermittent fasting, is the timing of your meals and ensuring that you to have a 16 hour period of not eating. One of the beauties of intermittent fasting, is that your stomach naturally shrinks and your appetite easily decreases as you adjust to an intermittent fasting plan. The final goal, will be to eat 2 fairly large meals a day; with your first meal being at 12pm and your second meal at 8pm. From personal experience, I would recommend gradually building up to a 16 hour fast period. This helps your body, mind and emotions make this adjustment with greater ease. For the first few days of the plan, keep to eating 3 meals a day, breakfast, lunch and supper. Consume breakfast shortly after waking, have lunch at 12pm and supper at 8pm. Over the first 3 days gradually make breakfast later each morning, for example on day 1 you eat breakfast at 8am, day 2 breakfast is at 9:30am and day 3 at 11am. From the 4th day onwards, your first meal of the day will be at 12pm and your second meal will be at 8pm. Intermittent fasting is very flexible and as time goes on, you can adjust the timing of your 2 meals and fasting period to suit you best. As always, please ensure you consult your primary health care practitioner before starting an intermittent fasting plan. Also, please be aware that starting intermittent fasting may have various side-effects, such as hypoglycemia or low blood sugar; less serious side-effects include headaches, irritability, tiredness and nausea. Many of these side-effects are only present when you first begin intermittent fasting. Most, if not all, of these uncomfortable effects disappear after the 1st week. If you experience more serious adverse effects please ensure you contact your primary health care practitioner. And please remember: be kind to yourself. Your body is worthy of care and gentleness. If you slip up, don’t beat yourself up. Hunger is natural and you can just pick up again from where you left off. It’s no big deal. Know that you are transforming years and sometimes decades, of an unhealthy relationship with food and your body. It is a gift to yourself to learn to only feed physical hunger. As you begin to only eat when you experience physical hunger, you will see that your emotional hunger is nurtured as you allow recognition, patience and acceptance of all of your emotions. It was August 2002 and I was desperate. I had been overweight all my life and was no longer able to ignore the toll it was taking on my 40+ year old body. With a family history of diabetes, heart problems and high blood pressure waiting in the wings, I knew I had to do something, but how do you turn around a lifetime of bad habits! Like so many others, I had tried all sorts of programs and quick fixes, and I even lost weight, but each time the weight came back. At my top recorded weight, I was 352 pounds. By the time of my physical before starting the OPTIFAST program, I had already been treated for endometrial cancer, high blood pressure and depression. My blood panel from that day came back with four warning flags: cholesterol (246), triglycerides (177), LDL (166), and HDL/LDL ratio (3.7). My blood pressure registered 150/92 and my weight 323 pounds. It didn't take a medical degree to know I was in serious trouble. So I made one of the toughest decisions I have ever made and signed on for the OPTIFAST program. I won't say it was always easy, but it certainly wasn't the horrible ordeal I imagined. To begin with, I wasn't starving. Sure, I got hungry, but not that all-consuming "I-have-to-eat-something-or-die" kind of hungry you get on so many fad diets.
