Here are 12 proven ways I’m about to share with you so make sure you watch the entire video. 1.Don't skip meals. Lots of people think skipping a meal will help to lose weight, but the same study found that people who ate at least 3 meals per day lost more weight than people who didn't. When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals. 2.Figure out how many calories you should eat each day to lose weight. Losing weight isn't all about weight. The more aware you are of the calories in the food you eat, the more easily you'll be able to eat the right amount of food and do the right amount of exercise to drop a couple of pounds. Take your food journal and look up each item individually. Keep a running tally and add up your calorie total for the day. 3.Drink at least 2 liters of water each day. Water has the double effect of both hydrating your body and filling your stomach with a certain volume of a liquid that has zero calories. The Institute of Medicine determined that an adequate intake for men is roughly 3 liters of total beverages a day. The adequate intake for women is 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day. 4.Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help your stomach fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 5.Find creative ways to eat less. While doing these things alone won't necessarily make you lose weight, they can be helpful little tricks to keep you moving on the right path. Eliminate soda, sweet teas, highly sugared coffee drinks, processed fruit juices and alcohol. Instead, drink water. It can help flush toxins from your system. Several studies recommend that women consume 2.8 quarts of water and men consume 3.9 quarts every day. 4.Increase your fiber intake. Fiber helps you to cut your food cravings and act as natural appetite suppressant. Also most of the fiber rich foods are low on the fat content Try to eat at least 5 serving of fruits and vegetables per day. Fruits that are high in fiber include apples, bananas, strawberries, citrus fruits, prunes, pears and tangerines. Switch to whole grain or whole wheat bread. White bread is low in fiber. Switch to a high fiber cereal or oatmeal for breakfast. Some cereals that are high in fiber include Raisin Bran, Cracklin' Oat Bran, Grape-Nuts, All-Bran and Fiber One. Make sure to include peas, beans and legumes in your diet. Foods that will help you add these to your meal plan include: lentil soup, bean burritos, chili with beans, split pea soup, 3-bean salsa, and refried beans. Switch from regular pasta to whole wheat pasta, and from white rice to brown rice. Choose high fiber snacks, such as popcorn or whole grain crackers, instead of candy bars or other high-fat, sugary foods. 5.Increase Your Metabolism -- Eat 5-6 small meals every 2-3 hours daily. It has been scientifically proven that by eating frequently, you will raise your body's natural metabolism. That means your body will burn more fat naturally. And You become a fat burning machine all day long. 6.Eliminate processed foods. Such as burgers and Pizza, cakes, pastas, and get more good carbohydrates such as oats, brown rice and jacket potatoes to ensure that your blood sugar levels are kept even and you have plenty of energy. 7.Don't eat at nights. If you've already tried intermittent fasting and you did it correctly you've probably already noticed some great results. You probably lost some body fat, maybe lost a few pounds off the scale, and you've become more productive in the process.... which is all great. But I know if you could double or triple your results without spending more time in the gym or in the kitchen you would be more than happy to learn how. Am I right? ....I think i'm right. So let's get started with the very first trick... When you break your fast, during your feeding window you want to stick to foods that don't spike your blood sugar, and more importantly don't spike your insulin levels. And those two things aren't always the same. As many of you already know one of the major benefits of fasting is that it'll allow you lower your insulin levels. Insulin is a fat storage hormone that serves as a bridge between your cells and the nutrients coming into your body. Your body will also stop burning fat when insulin levels are elevated. When we fast we are not just looking to lower calories by not eating, even though fasting will definitely do this the main goal of fasting for fat loss is to decrease insulin levels. And there really is no better solution for doing just that, when you simply don't eat your bodies insulin levels are naturally at their lowest. However, what most people don't realize is that even if you fast perfectly, once you break your fast you can spike your blood sugar and insulin levels high enough to cause your body to actually store fat rather than burn it. So if you want to burn fat at the fastest rate the goal has to be to keep your insulin levels low even after breaking your fast. We can do that by understanding some basic principles and then making a decision on what to eat during your feeding window around those key concepts. First let's get the obvious out of the way.... sweets, processed foods, and junk food will spike your insulin levels the highest while providing the lowest amount of nutrients. So if you want to burn fat faster after breaking your fast stick only to real wholesome single ingredient foods. Most of these foods you'll find by sticking to the outside aisles of your local grocery store or supermarket while avoiding the inner aisles. Next you have to know that carbohydrates have the biggest impact on your insulin levels, certain types of dairy have equally as big of an impact, other sources of protein have a moderate impact, and fat has the smallest impact. By not overindulging in carbohydrates and dairy after breaking your fast you'll already be miles ahead of most people. Since fasting is supposed to be a flexible dieting structure, I don't want you to restrict your carbs or dairy to nothing. In fact by doing that it'll probably make you want to have them even more. Instead I want you to break your fast with a large serving of vegetables in order to fill your stomach up and take the edge off your hunger. Then move on to your protein & fat sources, and then if you're still hungry you can move on to some low glycemic carbohydrates & dairy. This will allow you to limit your insulin spikes during your feeding window without actually thinking about it & without restrictions. Let's move on to the second way to burn fat faster that goes hand in hand with the first tip we just went over. I'm talking about keto fasting. Keto fasting is a combination of the ketogenic diet & fasting. This will make your diet a little less flexible because you will have to adhere to a certrain macronutrient split, but it's an incredibly effective way to speed up the amount of fat lost from fasting. Here you would start by setting up a regular intermittent fasting & feeding window. An common example would be to break your fast at 1 o clock & then switch back to fasting at 9 o clock. But during that 8 hour feeding window, with this method you'll actually want to keep your carbohydrate consumption under only 5 to 10 percent of your total daily caloric intake. This means no grains, no starchy veggies, & only berries for your fruit. You'll also want to keep your protein intake right around 15 to 20 percent of your daily intake because remember protein is also insulinogenic, & your fat should be around 75 percent of your total calories. If you're serious about dropping a few pounds in your thighs and elsewhere, Follow these steps 1.Do squats. There are tons of different squat exercises you can do, but the basic idea is this: With your legs shoulder-width apart, lower your bum down to the ground until your thighs are parallel with the ground. Balance here for at least three seconds before pushing-up 2.Attempt the seated pillow squeeze. • Sit on a sturdy chair and rest your feet flat on the floor with your knees bent at a right angle. Place the pillow between your knees and thighs. • Exhale as you squeeze the pillow between your thighs. You should imagine it as if you are attempting to squeeze the stuffing out of the pillow. Hold this squeeze for 1 minute, and breathe normally while doing this. 3.Increase your cardio workouts. Cardiovascular exercise is a great way to burn-fat. In order to lose overall body-fat (and thereby also lose-fat in your inner-thigh region), you should increase the amount of time that you do cardiovascular exercising or increase the days that you do cardiovascular-exercise. Cardio workouts are particularly well-suited to assist with the appearance of your thighs because most cardio exercises work the lower-body, which can tone and shape your thighs as you lose-weight. 4.Eat a clean diet. In order to lose weight, you should get most of your calories from low-calorie and nutrient-dense food sources. Make sure to include foods such as high-quality proteins (including lean meats and nuts), fruits, vegetables, and complex carbohydrates (including whole wheat breads, legumes, and brown-rice) 5.Eat small meals throughout the day. Eating multiple (four to five) small-meals throughout the day instead of three large meals can help keep your metabolism elevated and suppress your appetite so that you don’t overeat. 6.Skip the red meat and go for lean-protein. Simply put, lean protein sources have less saturated fat and fewer calories. • Replace beef and pork with chicken and turkey. Fish is also lower in fat than most red meat and has additional health benefits. When possible, you should opt for fresh fish over sardines, tuna, or other fish packed in oil 7.Avoid diet-busters. While there is some room for forgiveness in your diet, there are certain foods and drinks that are more likely to throw your diet off altogether. These should be avoided as much as possible. Take foods with empty-calories and no nutritional benefit out of your diet. Drinks like soda and foods like frozen French-fries and sweet breakfast cereals should be avoided. 8.Limit your intake of saturated-fats. Saturated-fats are less beneficial to your body than unsaturated fats and are usually found in animal sources, like dairy and meat, as well as hydrogenated-oils. Many of our favorite desserts are filled with saturated fats, so make sure you limit your intake of sweets. If you refuse to pay attention to the quality of your nutrition and the foods you put in your mouth you are never going to have the low levels of body fat that you desire long term. Sure, anyone can follow a short term diet that allows them to lose fat for a few weeks however if you can’t keep it up then you will never be satisfied with your body fat levels over the course of the year. Mistakenly, people look to exercises as the best way to drop body fat. While you definitely need to train, achieving fat loss is and always will be better accomplished via the right nutrition plan. This goes back to the comment about never being able to outtrain a bad diet. You simply cannot make up enough calorie burn via exercise (even the most intense) to overcome bad food choices. For instance, our very own Jesse is a big sugar fanatic and a worshiper of gummy bears. Just 17 measly gummy bears has 150 calories. So today I want to go over the 10 most effective exercises for weight loss that you could do right in your own living room. The exercises that i go over today require no equipment and the reason why theyre more effective than others is because they're going to work mulriple joints and muscle groups at the same time and theyre gonna get your heart rate and your breathing rate up way up. You can combine all of these exercises into one workout simply by using on and off intervals. The training style that I recommend for this type of workout is short intervals. 20 seconds on and then ten seconds off then repeat each exercise for 8 rounds before taking a minute break and moving on to the next. Training in a high intensity way like this will allow you to burn more calories in a shorter amount of time. Before I jump into the first one I do have to State the obvious and that's the fact that if you want to lose weight or burn fat you do have to make sure that you're keeping it clean in the kitchen as well. These arent magical exercises that was somehow counterbalance eating junk everyday. But by doing this work out a couple times a week and watching what you eat I'm sure that anyone can lose weight and body fat with these exercises. Let's start with number 1. its a combination of jumping jacks and burpees. Burpees are by far one of the most effective exercises to get your heart rate up while also working your upper and your lower body. Most people know how to do a jumping jack start standing straight up then jump your feet out and raise your arms over your head and you're going to do that 5 times. Then you would perform the burpee by bending your back and lowering yourself down to the ground. As you place your hands on the floor. Next you're going to jump your feet out and get into a push-up position lower yourself down for the push-up then hop your feet back in and jump up. If this is too advanced for you you can walk your feet out one foot at a time instead of hoping. Regardless of whether you're a beginner or advanced the sequence is five jumping jacks one Burpee 5 jumping jacks one Burpee back and forth. Next we have the mountain climber sit through drill. For this one you're going to perform 4 mountain climbers for every two sit throughs. Most people know how to do mountain climbers. These are the same mountain climbers that you've probably done in gym class. Every time that you hop one of your knees up to your chest it counts as one. So you shuffle your feet 4 times and then you do 2 sit throughs. The sit through is done by starting in a pushup postion then lifting one hand off the ground and your opposite leg off the ground. Bring your hand up to your head and kick your opposite leg through as you turn your hips and your body enough for your butt to barely tap the ground. Then return back to the pushup and repeat for the other side. Once you're done with those 2 sit throughs go right back to mountain climbers. Next is the plyo step up. This one is not only great for your footwork, balance, and coordination, but it's also a great exercise to burn a bunch of calories. All you need is a step below knee level. You can use a low chair or even the bottom stair ledge in your house. Start with one foot on the platform, put your weight on that foot & jump up as you switch your feet. Do this back & forth repeating for the full time. I know it doesn't look like much, but like I said you will be breathing heavy after doing this one for 20 seconds straight & especially after eight rounds. If you have knee problems & can't jump up & down you can just alternate stepping up side to side. Moving on to exercise number four the spider man pushup. This one does require a lot of upper body strength so if you're a beginner just stick to regular pushups or you can also do pushups on your knees if regular pushups are too hard. The key with all of these exercises is to perform the exercise in the most intense way that you can & then regress as it gets harder. So you can start by doing a couple reps of the spiderman pushups & then regress to regular pushups.
