Polyunsaturated fats were derived from seed oils, and because these seed oils were so volatile, they had to be highly processed and refined to become stable. Today, clear-yellow plastic vegetable oil-filled bottles line the brightly-lit grocery store shelves – while even one photon of light would normally oxidize unrefined vegetable oils. These refined vegetables oils are used as preservatives in packaged foods, and are unappetizing to the residents of the microbiome, which typically feed on fatty acids… but not this type! High consumption of these vegetable oils has been linked to digestive, cognitive, joint, blood sugar, liver and gallbladder concerns. (3) These oils are one of the major culprits behind congested, thick and viscous bile. (1) The current treatment involves inspecting the common bile and pancreatic ducts for a small stone, or a surgical procedure that cuts the sphincter muscle in order to relax the sphincter enough to allow the bile to flow. The risks of pancreatitis from this procedure are high and, according to the new JAMA study, it is not a viable option. (1) Logically, removing a bile or pancreatic duct stone or relaxing the sphincter muscle makes sense, but these procedures have not proven to be very effective, and many folks end up with chronic post-surgical gallbladder pain – even when there isn’t a gallbladder. Most stones are cholesterol stones and the way you develop gallstones is when you have a super concentrated amounts of cholesterol and you have bile deficiency. The real deep underlying cause of gallstones is not having enough bile because it keeps the stone from developing and keeps cholesterol from forming a stone. Bile is a fluid made in the liver and concentrated in the gallbladder by 20x and helps extracting the nutrients from the foods – the fat soluble vitamins and essential fatty acids. There's a myth out there that the high fat diet will cause gallstones - that is absolutely not true. Let's get into to it a little bit more. Most stones are cholesterol stones, it is a concentrated amount of cholesterol because there is not enough bile. The real deep underlying cause of a gallstone is bile deficiency. Bile is a fluid that is made in the liver and concentrated in the gallbladder by 20x. and it is use to help you extract nutrients from the food especially like extracting the fat soluble vitamins, essential fatty acids and then the pancreas releases enzymes to help break it down a little bit more. So really the underlying cause of gallstones are lack of bile because bile keeps the stone from developing. It keeps cholesterol from forming a stone and also it disposes an excess cholesterol. Bile is very very important. And if you have your gallbladder out, you are gonna be deficient in bile even more because now you don't have a sac to allow the bile to be concentrated. The original reason probably they took it out is you had stones. And now, they take it out and we have a deficiency in bile even more that trickles down so you might switch a problem from a stone to another problem of lack of absorption of fat soluble vitamins or omega 3 fatty acids or an essential fat called DHA which is good for your brain and your heart. So it is hard to pull all those in, without bile it is like washing your hands without soap. When everything you eat causes pain it is time for you to have your gallbladder checked. Your major concern should be what is behind the symptoms, the root of the problem. Say if your stomach gas and bloating are caused by fats, they are directly related to your gallbladder. When they are caused by proteins, you probably have not enough stomach acid to begin the process of digestion. If eating starch and sugars bring about gas and distention you do not have enough bowel flora. Remember that too much fat is as detrimental to your gallbladder as too little fat. Moderation is the key word for your general health including your gallbladder. If you have been diagnosed with gallstones or with a slow gallbladder, stay out of pain by avoiding the trigger foods in this video clip. Improve and maintain a working gallbladder by embracing a healthy diet, above all beets, lemon juice, flax and extra virgin olive oils. Gallbladder disease is frequently misdiagnosed. These are the signs of a malfunctioning gallbladder often ignored by doctors and patients alike: - Constipation – the fat that enters the small intestine has to be metabolized by the bile salts and the lipase from the pancreas. When the gallbladder does not release the bile efficiently the food and its fatty contents wait longer in the small intestine to be metabolized which causes constipation. The bile is also lubricating the colon preventing constipation. Please remember that constipation is not always caused by lack of fiber or liquids in your diet. Do not rush into swallowing pills; rather, have your gallbladder checked and eat the foods I mention in this video clip. - Burping, heaviness, and bloating after or while eating a meal, especially one containing fat, when digestion of fatty meals becomes a problem. - Decreased stomach (gastric) acid (HCL-hydrochloric acid) - Stomach gas and distention - Peeling of the skin on the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet is due to an inefficient fat metabolism system and metabolism problems with vitamin A (fat soluble). - Sleeping problems: when you cannot fall asleep until after 1 AM or you fall asleep and wake up and stay awake between 11 PM- 1 AM your gallbladder is stressed. If you are awake between 1 AM-3 AM your liver is sick.
