Even though we are all getting fat, we’re starving for vitamins and minerals.” Just one example of the damage deficiencies create in the body should be adequate to make my point. A recent double-blind study focusing on Alzheimer’s prevention found that providing study participants significant levels of just three vitamins – folate, vitamin B6 and B12, resulted in 7 times less brain damage in areas of the brain sensitive to Alzheimer’s than in the same areas of the brain in those receiving a placebo – in just two years. An examination of the homo-cysteine pathway in the body shows how deficiencies of these same three vitamins would effectively interfere with and halt the proper metabolism of homo-cysteine. The oxidative damage caused by the abnormal buildup of this important body ingredient provides the mechanisms for the severe brain insult. This is only one small example, as the body includes tens of thousands of metabolic pathways, all of which are dependent on essential minerals and vitamins and will be compromised if these nutrients are deficient. We must discard the delusion that just because we are not seeing serious symptoms of illness now that we are somehow immune from the effects of nutrient deficiencies. Indeed, if we wait until symptoms of chronic illness are evident, the progressive deterioration may have already become irreversible. Okay guys, I have another evaluation on Lorena. She gave me her data so let's kind of dissect it. She's 5'1", 149 pounds, 39 years old, not much weight loss, she's tired, muscle pain, she works out twice a week boot-camp and another work out spread out, so it sound like it is pretty intense. She is taking 1 multi mineral vitamin, and she is also taking magnesium and potassium. I don't know she is really taking potassium, it is probably 99 milligrams and realize that that is like a really a fraction of what a person would really need. They need 4700 milligrams. In the morning she drinks apple cider vinegar lemon drink which is actually really good to take in the morning. And then she would have a bulletproof coffee and then sugar free gum. The first meal is at 12 o'clock, she'll have 3 eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, 1 teaspoon of butter, 1 slice of cheese, 1 cup spinach. Then at 3 o'clock, she'll have some coffee, 3 teaspoons of heavy cream. Then at 5 she'll have some kale shake 4 cups with 4 strawberries. Now at 7 she'll do 2 zucchinis and 4 ounces of ground beef. Her ketone levels range between .7 and then 1.7. .7 is pretty small, 1.7 is definitely better. Now her blood sugar before her first meal is 84 so that's pretty good that is actually perfect. But right before the second meal, it is 94 that's a little bit higher. So that's all the data. So, a couple of things I wanna mention she's not losing much weight and the things that jump out I would probably take out the fat from the bulletproof coffee. Just take the MCT oil, butter, just take it out and just do regular coffee with little cream. Other than that she has this kale shake thing right here right? 4 strawberries. Well, here's what we wanna do, this is probably elevating the sugar a little bit. It is not a big deal but it is raising up a little bit. If she wanted to do this, I would probably move this to 7 o'clock. And then she basically have two meals. That's what I would do. Better yet if she could do this, I would take the 7 o'clock meal and push it back this way that way we would have a longer fasting time period in a shorter eating window that would be even better. But we kind of want to condense this because this is definitely gonna add like a little bit of a meal right there. It would be nice to even take out the strawberries if she is struggling with weight loss. You can even put a little stevia on there. Some people use the electrolyte powder I have or even the lemon wheatgrass to sweeten it. That's one idea. Now, at 3 o'clock she needs a cup of coffee probably because she is tired. This right here would definitely interfere with sleep. Now you are just gonna find that you wouldn't gonna find a full rejuvenation, the full recharge effect.
