Get my diabetes management guide here https://goo.gl/B8zLuA For those of you watching with diabetes, you probably know the answer to this question. But I have been asked with those with diabetes this question before. Hyperglycemia, high blood sugar or high blood glucose is the sign for all types of diabetes. The body can no longer regulate the blood sugar in your blood for one of two reasons: 1.The pancreas is no longer making enough insulin. 2.The body’s cells have become so resistant to insulin that the pancreas cannot keep up. Either way, the result is that glucose is accumulating in the bloodstream rather than being moved into the cells. But what does this feel like? How does your body react? Let me first say that you may feel some or all of the symptoms we discuss today. Hyperglycemia can affect different people in different ways, but there are some symptoms that are common among MOST people with diabetes. There are 3 most common and we will discuss those. But there are others. The most common signs of high blood sugar I call PolyCubed: . 1.Polyuria == This is excessive urination. You are constantly needing to run to the bathroom, like at least once an hour if not more often. This is caused by a dual chain reaction. The cells are pumping water into the bloodstream to try and dilute the glucose and bring it back to normal, and the kidneys, unable to reabsorb this fluid during filtering, are uncontrollably flushing water from the body. The result is runaway urination. 2.Polydipsia is the result of polyuria. It is excessive thirst. This is a response to the dehydrating effects of polyuria; it’s the body’s attempt to rehydrate itself. According to Wil Dubois BS, AAS, CPT, the relationship between excessive urination and excessive thirst is often misinterpreted by people experiencing high blood glucose, especially before diabetes is diagnosed. Many people assume that excessive urination is caused by the excessive thirst and not the other way around. So they are quick to discount the excessive urination, thinking “Well, I’ve been drinking a lot lately…” 3.Polyphagia is the final main symptom of high blood glucose level. It is excessive hunger. It is not so much caused by the high blood glucose level as it is a low insulin level. the amount of insulin in the blood is insufficient to move glucose molecules from the bloodstream into the cells, where they can be used as fuel for cellular processes. If cells aren’t able to gain access to glucose, they send out hunger signals and the brain’s hypothalamus triggers the sensation of hunger. Those are the 3 main signs of high blood sugar. Most everyone who has a blood sugar level above 150 will experience one or all of these symptoms.Usually at least 2 of them. Another symptom you may feel is fatigue. Your body is working so hard to regulate your blood sugar and your cells can’t get the fuel they need to work properly. This will cause you to feel very tired. You will want to rest constantly. As the glucose levels rise in your blood stream, other symptoms are possible to appear. One that is very common of others I have talked to is blurred vision. Sometimes you see what I call “little snowmen” in your peripheral vision. This is the beginning of diabetic retinopathy. The tiny blood vessels in your eyes cannot carry the thicker blood causing oxygen levels in the optic nerve to drop. You may also experience one or more of the following after days of high blood glucose levels: Rapid, deep breathing. A fast heart rate and a weak pulse. A strong, fruity breath odor. Loss of appetite, belly pain, and/or vomiting. Lightheadedness. Headache Unexplained, rapid weight loss Tingling in hands and/or feet Scratches or sores that take a long time to heal It is difficult to answer what each individual will feel like when their blood sugar is high. It really depends on the individual and how high the blood glucose level is. Believe it or not, there are people who feel worse when their blood glucose levels are normal. They get used to how it feels to have elevated blood sugars and “normal” is not normal to them. If you experience any 2 of the PolyCubed symptoms and you have not been diagnosed with diabetes, you should get to your health care provider as soon as possible and ask them to check your blood glucose level. If you have diabetes and you experience any of the other symptoms, you need to make sure you keep a check on your blood sugar and if it remains high, see your health care provider and ask for an A1C test, this can help tell you how long your levels have been high. You may need to have your medication adjusted. High blood sugar is not something to just dismiss. It can have very serious consequences. If you even suspect you have high blood sugar, contact your health care provider.

This is caused by diabetic neuropathy which is a complication of diabetes. 2: Constant Hunger Without the proper amount of blood sugar to give your body energy, you may end up constantly craving food, because your body is looking for an alternative energy source. 3: Frequent Urination High sugar in the blood ends up in the kidneys and urine, which attracts even more water. This can lead to frequent urination. 4: Increased Thirst Along with frequent urination, sugar in the kidneys and urine can cause increased thirst. 5: Unexplained Weight Gain or Loss When the body’s cells aren’t getting the glucose they need, the body burns muscle and fat for energy instead. This can cause sudden or unexplained weight loss. The same can also be said of weight gain, unfortunately. So it is good to keep an eye out for any type of severe weight fluctuation. 6: Fatigue When the body’s cells aren’t able to access blood sugar for energy, a person can end up feeling constantly fatigued. 7: Difficulty Concentrating When your body is unbalanced, your mind also suffers. High blood sugar can cause difficulty concentrating and problems with memory. 8: Slow Healing High blood sugar can cause damage to the nerves. If you notice your cuts or wounds have been healing very slowly, it might be a good idea to get your blood sugar checked. 9: Dizziness Or Blurred Vision Dizziness and blurred vision, especially if brought on suddenly, should never be ignored. High blood sugar could be the underlying cause for both of these symptoms. If you like the video give it a thumbs up and share it with your friends! https://www.drlam.com/blog/are-you-still-tired-after-sleeping-eight-hours-each-night/21340 Have you every woken up in the morning after a night's rest still feeling unrefreshed, tired, fatigued, not quite yourself? This is very common in adrenal fatigue and we will explore why. This is Dr.Lam, founder of Drlam.com. You know, sleep is such an important component of our daily life. Without a good night's rest, it's almost impossible to get full regenerative properties. Sleep not only allows us to rest, but that's the time that the body cleanses itself of metabolites. The body's organs also need to rest even though it may not come to a complete stop, so a proper rest in the evening has tremendous revitalizing factors. When you wake up unrefreshed, several things may be going on. Number 1, you never get the deep sleep that you need so the body is still hungry for better rest. Number 2, your metabolic by-products are building up and it's not getting out of your body fast enough, accumulating and therefore the toxic buildup can be to such a point overnight that it becomes very problematic for your body to handle. Number 3, your cortisol level, which is responsible to help you to wake up in the morning, and it rises around 4, 5 o'clock starting to do so, in order for you to wake up at 6, 7 o'clock. If that curve or that spike does not happen, then you're not going to be able to wake up refreshed. A lot of people have low cortisol in the morning and they feel terrible when they wake up and they only slowly get better during the day as the cortisol level starts to pick up. So there are many factors as to why you may not wake up what we called refreshed. Obviously you need to check with your doctor to see if everything is fine. But normally speaking, most of the labs are going to be normal, and even sleep studies may show that you have some kind of obstruction and you may be given CPAP and different types of machines. But they usually don't help too much in the sense of when it's associated with adrenal fatigue. Because when you have adrenal fatigue, especially in later stages, the body is always in the alert mode, so it's keeping you from going to the deep sleep that you require. You may be laying there, but you'd be so much tossing and turning and frequent awakenings that you never had the chance to go into the deep restorative mode. As a result when you get up in the morning, you simply are not getting the restful sleep that a normal person gets when they have a continuous and uninterrupted sleep. So when you wake up in the morning and feel unrefreshed, the first thing you should ask is why. You need to trace back: do you have diabetes that could possibly cause this? Do you have a metabolic buildup sugar imbalances that cause you to wake up many times at night? Do you have to go to the bathroom because of, in the case of male and female, prostate issues, on the case of female, urinary issues or bladder issues. All these things have to be ruled out, but if all these things turns out normal, and you still have no explanation, then do think about adrenal fatigue. If it's a common occurrence, and the interesting thing is it's a symptom and not a disease. So that's the good news, now when you have your adrenals that is improving over time, then oftentimes people will report a better sense of sleep and more refreshed situation when they wake up in the morning. This freshness is very very surprising in that it's almost like spring has arrived and you know you wake up and you feel fresh as compared to when you wake up and you still feel draggy and you need coffee and other stimulants to get you going. So, knowing and being sensitive to your body and being in tune with how you feel in the morning is an important indirect symptom of how well your adrenals are functioning. So do pay attention to this subtle sign that is important. FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/drlamcoaching PINTEREST: https://www.pinterest.com/drlam/ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/Dr_Lam

Hi Friends, Watch► #HowToTreat #PreDiabetes #Abchealth : https://goo.gl/elS2MW Before Knowing about treatment, let me tell you what is Prediabetes! Prediabetes is a “pre-diagnosis” of diabetes—you can think of it as a warning sign. It’s when your blood glucose level (blood sugar level) is higher than normal, but it’s not high enough to be considered diabetes. Prediabetes is an indication that you could develop type 2 diabetes if you don’t make some lifestyle changes. About 86 million people in the U.S. over age 20 have prediabetes. And doctors see the need to diagnose it more often. Treating it can prevent more serious health problems later on. These range from type 2 diabetes to problems with your heart, blood vessels, eyes, and kidneys. Symptoms Diabetes develops very gradually, so when you’re in the prediabetes stage—when your blood glucose level is higher than it should be—you may not have any symptoms at all. You may, however, notice that: you’re hungrier than normal you’re losing weight, despite eating more you’re thirstier than normal you have to go to the bathroom more frequently you’re more tired than usual All of those are typical symptoms associated with diabetes, so if you’re in the early stages of diabetes, you may notice them. Coming to the Treatment for prediabetes firstly maintain your body #fit by doing Exercise: When you exercise, your body uses more glucose, so exercising can lower your blood glucose level. Also when you exercise, your body doesn’t need as much insulin to transport the glucose; your body becomes less insulin resistant. Since your body isn’t using insulin well when you have prediabetes, a lower insulin resistance is a very good thing. Lose weight: If you’re overweight, you should get started on a weight loss program as soon as you’re diagnosed with prediabetes. Losing just 5 to 10% of your weight can significantly reduce your risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The combination of eating well and exercising more is a great way to lose weight—and then maintain your new, healthy weight. #Metformin: For people who are at a very high risk of developing type 2 diabetes after being diagnosed with prediabetes, the doctor may recommend a medication. The American Diabetes Association says that metformin should be the only medication used to prevent type 2. It works by keeping the liver from making more glucose when you don’t need it, thereby keeping your blood glucose level in a better range. Children with prediabetes should undertake the lifestyle changes recommended for adults with type 2 diabetes, including: #Losing weight Eating fewer refined carbohydrates and fats, and more fiber Spending at least one hour every day in physical activity Medication generally isn't recommended for children with prediabetes. Your doctor will keep a close watch on your blood glucose levels, monitoring them to make sure that your pre-diabetes doesn’t become type 2 diabetes And Also Follow Us On Facebook: https://goo.gl/EPRq1H Blogger : https://goo.gl/qPZi5Q Google + : https://goo.gl/EvYekq Playlist : https://goo.gl/u4HjXn Thank you for watching Our videos For more –like-comment-share & subscribe ================================= DISCLAIMER: The information provided on this channel and its videos is for general purposes only and should not be considered as professional advice. The mitochondria generate energy in your body. Many illness including cancer start with a breakdown of the mitochondria. Fixing the mitochondria will then fix your energy so you're not fatigued or tired. When you go through keto fatigue, you may need to take various B vitamins (B5) and potassium but you could also be tired because your mitochondria need support. Antioxidants can protect the oxidation from free radicals from radiation, chemicals, etc. Cruciferous vegetables, omega 3 fatty acids and certain trace minerals all aid in the repair process and are called antioxidants. It could be CoEnzyme Q10, vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium magnesium, etc. are examples. The main point is to get you to start increasing your quality of food, especially vegetables which includes these antioxidants from the phytonutrients to improve things. I recommend combining kale, parsley, and beet tops in a shake to increase the health of your mitochondria. Intermittent fasting and keto together can also help boost your mitochondria. Mitophagy is autophagy towards mitochondria, cleaning up the damages ones and causing a recycling effect. Mitochondria – produces the energy in the body. These are little energy factories or the powerhouses of the cells. They take the food that we eat and converts into ATP (or the energy currency of the body). Many illnesses including cancer, diabetes, autoimmune diseases all start with the breakdown of mitochondria. These mitochondria runs on certain vitamins and minerals. Oxidative Stress: (The mitochondria is in constant assault from) • metals (iron and copper) • smoking • pollution • chemicals • toxins • Lots of exercise (creates free radicals that will damage. Free Radicals are things that makes the cell membrane unstable) • radiation • GMO foods • viruses and other microbes • high levels of sugar • high levels of insulin • Stress Anti-oxidants – It neutralizes the oxidation. The body makes anti-oxidants and it can also be get from the foods or food concentrates. • Phytonutrients – “Phyto” meaning plants, chemicals. That are present in vegetables and a lot other foods that are considered superfoods. • Omega 3 • Trace Minerals – Selenium, Zinc, Manganese • B Vitamins It is very important to put some attention and focus on repairing mitochondria and enhancing the phytonutrients if you want to start building up your energy and you will prevent a lot of illnesses involved in the dysfunction of mitochondria. Healthy Ketogenic diet and Intermittent Fasting in general enhances mitochondria function. Mitophagy is basically the autophagy cleaning up the dysfunctional mitochondria. It is the body recycling the damaged cells and damage mitochondria. Intermittent Fasting triggers mitophagy by working up to 18 hours of fasting minimally. Fatigue Have you ever felt so tired that you feel exhausted even after you get up from sleep? Do you also feel constantly tired and exhausted through the day? If yes, you could be suffering from fatigue. Fatigue can be due to mental or physical reasons. Besides the tiredness, the most common symptoms are extreme weakness, no motivation to do anything, and lack of energy and concentration. The physical manifestations include headaches, dizziness, aching or sore muscles. But fatigue could also be a symptom of some other underlying cause, which you need to get checked by a physician. So what causes fatigue? It is mainly inadequate sleep, a very common thing today, and strenuous physical activity. Other reasons are vitamin deficiency, and dehydration which leads to loss of body fluids due to vomiting or diarrhea. Mental fatigue, however, is the result of stress and depression. Here are some home remedies to help boost your energy and get you back on your feet. Remove the seeds of four to five amla, or Indian gooseberries. Make a paste of this. Take about 300 ml of water in a pan and heat it. When the water becomes hot, add the paste. Let it come to a boil, and then simmer for another 15-20 minutes Remove the liquid from the heat and allow it to cool. Strain the liquid, add in some honey, and drink this three times a day A well balanced diet is very important to prevent fatigue, and equally important to not skip breakfast. Have an egg for breakfast, it provides energy to get you through the day. Coffee is another energizer that can help fight fatigue. A cup or two can help revitalize you, but it is best to have this in moderation. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day, fruit juices, green tea and milk, all of which keep you well hydrated, and keep tiredness at bay. Do I Have Diabetes | Signs Of Diabetes | Diabetes Symptoms In Men & Women | Early Signs Of Diabetes | Early Warning Signs Of Diabetes Hey guys! This weeks video is about the signs of diabetes. Having some of the signs of diabetes doesn’t mean you definitely have the condition, but you should always contact your GP, just to make sure. Type 2 diabetes can cause serious long-term health problems. It can be easy to miss as it develops slowly, especially in the early stages when it can be harder to spot the symptoms. If left untreated diabetes affects many major organs, including your heart, blood vessels, nerves, eyes and kidneys. Being diagnosed early and controlling your blood sugar levels can help prevent these complications. COMMON SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES: • Urinating more often than usual, particularly at night • Feeling very thirsty • Feeling very tired • Unexplained weight loss • Itching around the penis or vagina, or frequent episodes of thrush • Cuts or wounds that heal slowly • Blurred vision – caused by the lens of the eye becoming dry WHY DO WE GET THESE SYMPTOMS IN DIABETES: These symptoms occur because some or all of the glucose stays in the blood, and isn’t being used as fuel for energy. The body tries to reduce blood glucose levels by flushing the excess glucose out of the body in the urine. High levels of glucose being passed in the urine are a perfect breeding ground for the fungal infection which causes thrush. RISK FACTORS FOR TYPE 2 DIABETES: Three of the main risk factors for developing type 2 diabetes are: Age – Being over the age of 40 (over 25 for people of south Asian, Chinese, African-Caribbean or black African origin, even if you were born in the UK). Genetics – Having a close relative with the condition, such as a parent, brother or sister. Weight – Being overweight or obese. More information at: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/type-2-diabetes/causes/ SYMPTOMS OF FUNGAL THRUSH INFECTIONS: Thrush is a yeast infection (candida albicans) which tends to affect warm, moist areas of the body such as the vagina, penis, mouth and certain areas of skin. Thrush is more common in people with diabetes as high sugar levels lead to better conditions for the yeast to grow. Vaginal thrush (vulvovaginal candidiasis) symptoms include: • Soreness and irritation • White curd appearance on the skin • Pain during sexual intercourse • White vaginal discharge • Reddening of the vulva (the outer parts of the vagina) • Itching around the vagina (infectious vaginitis) Oral thrush (oral candidiasis) symptoms include: • A nasty or bitter taste • Redness or bleeding inside the mouth • Creamy white coloured patches (lesions) in the mouth (cheeks, lips, tongue or the back of the mouth) • Painful and sore mouth (can include the throat) • Cracks at the corners of the lips (angular cheilitis) Thrush in men (candida balanitis) Symptoms of thrush in men include: • Reddening or swelling or soreness of the glans (head) of the penis • Itching around the tip of the penis • Discharge beneath the foreskin • Nasty odour • Pain during urination • White curd-like appearance on the skin • Painful experience during sex PREVENTING TYPE 2 DIABETES: If you're at risk of type 2 diabetes, you may be able to prevent it developing by making lifestyle changes: • Eating a healthy, balanced diet • Losing weight if you're overweight, and maintaining a healthy weight • Stopping smoking if you smoke • Drinking alcohol in moderation • Taking plenty of regular exercise For more information please visit the following links: https://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/Diabetes/Pages/Avoiddiabetes.aspx https://www.diabetes.org.uk/preventing-type-2-diabetes/can-diabetes-be-prevented Want to see more videos about everything health and pharmacy? Diabetes is a lifelong condition that causes a person’s blood sugar level to become too high. The longer you have diabetes, and the less controlled your blood sugar, the higher the risk of complications. Some of the complications can be disabling or even life-threatening.The NHS outlines seven symptoms, and one of these is common yeast infection thrush. Thrush is more common in people wth diabetes as high sugar levels lead to better conditions for the yeast to grow.Thrush in women appears as a white discharge (like cottage cheese), which does not usually smell, can cause itching and irritation around the vagina, and soreness and stinging during sex or when you pee.In men, thrush can cause irritation, burning and redness around the head of the penis and under the foreskin, a white discharge (like cottage cheese), an unpleasant smell and difficulty pulling back the foreskin.Thrush is usually harmless but repeated cases could indicate diabetes type 2. Diabetes Mellitus - 10 Symptoms of Diabetes - One Health 👉👉👉 Get It Here: http://tinyurl.com/lydyceh 👈👈👈 10 Symptoms of Diabetes COULD YOU HAVE DIABETES? For some people, the symptoms of diabetes are obvious. Unrelenting thirst, frequent urination, and always feeling tired are surefire tip-offs that something is amiss. But not all symptoms are this clear. In fact, many people may have no symptoms at all until a blood test tells them they have diabetes. This matters because the earlier you catch diabetes, the sooner you can take control of it and prevent complications. Here are 10 symptoms that suggest you could have diabetes. DIABETES SYMPTOM 1: YOU FEEL FINE For many people, diabetes causes no symptoms at all, especially early on. In fact, experts estimate that about 7 million people in the U.S. have undiagnosed diabetes. Early signs and symptoms can be vague, causing you to dismiss them or confuse them with other problems. Some people simply don't have noticeably high blood sugar, says Gregg F. Gerety, MD, an endocrinologist in Albany, N.Y. "Others get used to feeling poorly," he adds. Even subtle changes in the way you feel can be a good reason to see your doctor. Often, people don't realize how bad diabetes has been making them feel until after they get help. DIABETES SYMPTOM 2: THIRST AND FREQUENT URINATION People with diabetes may urinate as much as 20 times a day, with a full bladder every time, says Melvin Stjernholm, MD, an endocrinologist in Boulder, Colo. When you have extra glucose in your blood, due to diabetes, your kidneys work overtime to get rid of it. As this happens, the extra glucose soaks up water everywhere in your body, causing you to urinate more often. Frequent urination causes your body to become dehydrated—and you end up feeling very thirsty. DIABETES SYMPTOM 3: YOU'RE TIRED ALL THE TIME Everyone experiences fatigue at one time or another. The combination of having too much to do and not enough sleep is a common problem. But if you have diabetes, your cells are also starved for glucose (sugar)—your body's main source of energy. When glucose stays in your bloodstream rather than being used by your cells, you can end up feeling very tired. And if you're making nightly trips to the bathroom, you'll be even more exhausted. DIABETES SYMPTOM 4: FREQUENT YEAST INFECTIONS Bacteria thrive in an environment with lots of sugar. That's why people with diabetes are often prone to yeast infections, says Betul Hatipoglu, MD, an endocrinologist at Cleveland Clinic. Common infection sites include the mouth (called "oral thrush") and places where you sweat, like the armpits, the skin between your toes, and under the breasts. Women with diabetes may also have more frequent vaginal and urinary tract infections. Itchy skin, a rash, white patches in your mouth, and vaginal itching, pain, and discharge are some of the most common signs of a yeast infection. DIABETES SYMPTOM 5: CUTS AND BRUISES HEAL SLOWLY When you have an injury or infection, your body sends white blood cells to heal the damaged tissue. But too much glucose in your blood can slow the work of white blood cells, resulting in cuts and bruises that never seem to heal. "Even minor injuries like a cut with a razor will take longer to heal and may become infected," Hatipoglu says. "When your blood sugar goes up above 200, your white blood cells can't fight really well. And that weakens your immune system." I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor) Diabetes is a lifelong condition that causes a person's blood sugar level to become too high. There are two main types of diabetes: type 1 diabetes – where the body's immune system attacks and destroys the cells that produce insulin type 2 diabetes – where the body doesn't produce enough insulin, or the body's cells don't react to insulin Type 2 diabetes is far more common than type 1. In the UK, around 90% of all adults with diabetes have type 2. During pregnancy, some women have such high levels of blood glucose that their body is unable to produce enough insulin to absorb it all. This is known as gestational diabetes. Pre-diabetes Many more people have blood sugar levels above the normal range, but not high enough to be diagnosed as having diabetes. This is sometimes known as pre-diabetes. If your blood sugar level is above the normal range, your risk of developing full-blown diabetes is increased. It's very important for diabetes to be diagnosed as early as possible because it will get progressively worse if left untreated. When to see a doctor Visit your GP as soon as possible if you experience the main symptoms of diabetes, which include: feeling very thirsty urinating more frequently than usual, particularly at night feeling very tired weight loss and loss of muscle bulk itching around the penis or vagina, or frequent episodes of thrush cuts or wounds that heal slowly blurred vision Type 1 diabetes can develop quickly over weeks or even days. Many people have type 2 diabetes for years without realising because the early symptoms tend to be general.

But it can be a sign of other health problems, too. Often, treatment for these conditions will clear up your blurred vision. Remember, though, that sudden changes to your eyesight aren’t normal, so if they happen, see your doctor right away. Could It Be Diabetes? The condition raises your risk for an eye disease called diabetic retinopathy. Over time, high blood sugar can damage the tiny blood vessels in your retina, the part of your eye that senses light. That can lead to swelling in a part of the retina called the macula. Along with blurry vision, diabetic eye disease may also cause: “Floating” spots in your field of vision Blindness Early treatment is the best way to ward off permanent damage. So protect your eyes from diabetes by getting them checked at least once a year. Could It Be a Stroke? One of the key signs that you’re having a stroke is a sudden, painless change in eyesight. You might have blurry vision, see double, or suddenly lose your sight. Call 911 right away if you have any of these changes and other stroke warning signs, such as: Dizziness Face drooping Loss of balance Slurred speech or other problems speaking clearly Weakness or numbness in one arm Could It Be Preeclampsia? If you’re pregnant, you shouldn’t take blurry vision lightly. It could be a sign of preeclampsia, a dangerous condition marked by very high blood pressure and protein in your urine. Preeclampsia occurs in women who have never had high blood pressure before and generally occurs late in pregnancy, generally after 20 weeks. It can have serious, life-threatening effects on you and your baby. Preeclampsia may not cause any symptoms, but blurry vision and other sight changes such as seeing flashing lights or spots could be clues that you have it. Be sure to contact your doctor if you notice these as well as other possible signs: Anxiety, shortness of breath, a racing heart, or confusion Nausea or vomiting that suddenly starts after the first trimester Pain in your belly, shoulder, or low back Sudden weight gain Swelling, especially in your face, around your eyes, or in your hands Throbbing headaches that don’t go away CONTINUED Could It Be a Migraine? A migraine is more than a horrible headache. There are a host of other symptoms that you might have with the pain, including blurry vision and sensitivity to light. You may feel these signs even before a migraine starts, and they may last until it’s over. More dramatic changes to your eyesight during a migraine are called an aura. They can include: Loss of part or all of your vision for a little while Seeing flashes of light Seeing wavy lines or spots To solve these problems, you’ll need to work with your doctor to treat your migraines and keep them from starting. Could It Be Psoriasis? You may know this condition from these symptoms: Itchy or sore patches of skin Joint pain and inflammation Thick, red, scaly patches on the skin But psoriasis can affect your eyes, too. It can cause a condition called uveitis, when inflammation leads to swelling that causes blurred vision, pain, redness, and sensitivity to light. Treatments can get rid of uveitis, but the type you need will depend on which part of your eye is affected. Could It Be Multiple Sclerosis? Blurry vision is often one of the earliest symptoms of multiple sclerosis (MS). The disease causes inflammation along the nerve that connects your eyes to your brain, called the optic nerve. That causes a condition called optic neuritis, which can give you blurry sight, loss of color vision, and pain when you move your eyes. It often happens in just one eye. Besides blurry vision, MS also causes: Trouble with balance Bladder and bowel problems Dizziness Feeling very tired Numbness Stiffness Weakness Optic neuritis doesn’t necessarily mean you have MS, so talk to your doctor about what’s causing it. The problem often goes away on its own, but your doctor can give you some medications to help you heal faster. CONTINUED Could It Be a Brain Tumor? Scary, but true: A tumor in any part of your brain can make pressure build inside your skull. That can cause many symptoms, including blurred vision. Other signs of a possible brain tumor are: Drowsiness Headache that won’t go away Nausea Personality changes Seizures Vomiting If your doctor thinks you might have a brain tumor, she’ll use different tests to check how well your brain and spinal cord work, as well as imaging tests to see inside your head.

Not too long ago, George Bush vetoed his first bill after 5, 1/2 years of serving for our country as president. The bill he vetoed did not allow stem cell research to be funded properly by the government, while the many millions of people like me could be cured from the research. His main reasons for vetoing the bill had to do with cloning, and us being a Christian country. Following this announcement, George Bush recieved a standing ovation. I am 15 years old. I have had Diabetes for 10 years, and this comming March of 2008 will be my 11th. year. Diabetes is more than just a life threatening disease. It's you're life... period. But there is hope. The JDRF (Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation) holds a Walk-to-Cure-Diabetes every year in Siesta Key Beach, Florida. They raise millions of dollars a year and span to over 200 locations around the Earth. Diabetes can be cured across America with proper funding from organizations, the government, and people like you. Now this video isn't meant to scare people that have diabetes. Truth is, if you're careful and listen to your doctors, you can live a long, happy, and healthy life. It's not always easy, but you can always do something about it to control your sugar more and be healthier than you can ever be. there's always something you can do, and it's a good feeling! http://tinyurl.com/bq7rvc Barack Obama supported Stem Cell Research! Thank you, Mr. Obama! You've given hope to millions of people like me. Thank you! Resource: http://tinyurl.com/3d5fjk Note: the following statistics pertain to the United States of America only, unless otherwise stated. Song: Casino Royale Soundtrack: Vesper Q and A about Diabetes: Q: What is Diabetes? A: Your body turns food into energy using insulin. Insulin is made by the pancreas and allows the sugar to be used by your body. Diabetes is a chronic disease where you're pancreas slows down or stops functioning. Without insulin, the sugar stays in your bloodstream. However, with too much insulin, you won't have reserve energy for standing, walking, and sometimes your body can't keep warm with low blood sugar. I have to monitor my blood sugar levels several times a day and take insulin from shots to make sure my blood sugar levels don't go too high or too low. Q: Does Diabetes happen to fat people? A: Not all types of Diabetes happen to obese people. Type 1 (Juvenille Diabetes) is hereditary, so you can't prevent it. It takes over you as a child or teen. Type 2 Diabetes occurs in obese people or old people, whose pancreas's aren't strong enough to meet the demands for insulin. Q: Does it go away? A: No. It is a lifelong disease. It's impossible to avoid completelly without the stem cell procedure. Q: What is life like as a Diabetic? A: Normal. Just a different kind of normal. I take shots and go to the doctors once every couple months, but I'm not stripped of my life. I have a diet and I have to watch what I eat, but I can still eat my favorite foods once in a while. Q: The diet... you have a diet? A: Well, I need to regulate my blood sugar levels. My diet is as followed: don't take too much sugar when you're blood sugar level is high, and drink sugar (it has to be a drink, food takes too long to digest) when your blood sugar level is low. I eat snacks during the day and 3 meals. You can't skip any meals or snacks, or else you'll feel it. Q: You feel your blood sugar levels? A: Yes. When my blood sugar is high, It's harder for me to pay attention or work properly. I feel warm and hyper. Sometimes I'll be agressive. When I'm low, I feel shakey and cold, but usually hungry. I might start sweating and feel very tired. Sometimes I feel dizzy, if it goes down far enough (thank goodness it doesn't!) Q: What's considered "normal" blood-sugar wise? A: The units for blood sugars are measured in mg. of sugar per dL of blood. 80-120 is normal, but it may go between 60-160 depending on how much you eat or exersize. I go between 100-200 for the most part, but I have had numbers as low as 35 and as high as 500. Q: I never knew you were a diabetic! How come you didn't say so before? A: As much as I love to educate people about the disease, I'm not different from anyone else on Youtube: I'm still a human being. I might need more time on tests or medical attention when I'm exersizing vigerously, but it's not like I'm a different person! I live my life differently, that's all. Q: What was that bracelet in the last picture? A: That's my Medic Alert bracelet on my bed. If I pass out from my blood sugars going too low or too high, then the paramedics will be able to see that I'm a diabetic, and they may be able to wake me up with glucagon (think of it as sugar-in-a-bottle) or an insulin shot. Q: What can I do to help? Where can I learn more? A: http://www.jdrf.org

Tiredness during pregnancy • Women normally feel more tired when they are pregnant • This is specially true in the first and the third trimester • In the first trimester, elevating hormones and metabolism rate, combined with low blood sugar contribute to the fatigue. Also, the body is developing the placenta to support the baby • In the third trimester, the tiredness is mostly attributed to the added weight and the lack of sleep due to discomfort • In some cases, this persistent weakness could be a sign of anaemia, thyroid issues or even gestational diabetes and might need medical attention • Get plenty of rest, take short naps during the day if possible • Eat small but frequent portions of healthy food (fruits and vegetables) • Eating smaller portions frequently ensures that the blood sugar levels are even, this also helps you sustain the energy levels • Consuming proteins (pulses, eggs, etc.) and complex carbohydrates (vegetables, fruits and cereal) provides a continuous source of energy for the body What can you do about it? • Get plenty of rest, take short naps during the day if possible • Eat small but frequent portions of healthy food (fruits and vegetables) • Eating smaller portions frequently ensures that the blood sugar levels are even, this also helps you sustain the energy levels • Consuming proteins (pulses, eggs, etc.) and complex carbohydrates (vegetables, fruits and cereal) provides a continuous source of energy for the body What can you do about it? • Avoid having too much sugar, tea or coffee • Drink lots of fluids and keep yourself hydrated at all times • Seek help from friends and family when needed • Keep up your optimism as this is a temporary phase and it will pass • And when in doubt, do not hesitate to contact your doctor Summary • Getting tired while pregnant is very common and is due to fluctuating levels of hormones, glucose and blood pressure • It is absolutely normal and usually does not need any medical intervention • You can usually manage your day by taking plenty of rest, eating well and keeping hydrated • If you experience extreme fatigue that does not resolve, please consult your doctor as it could be due to some other condition that could be treatable Team Ovum Hospitals

Diabetes is caused by the pancreas not producing enough of the hormone insulin, according to the NHS.Without enough insulin, the body struggles to convert sugar in the blood into useable energy.Diabetes type 1 is caused by the pancreas not producing any insulin, while type 2 is caused by the pancreas not making enough insulin, or the body not reacting to the hormone.Diabetes symptoms include feeling very tired, blurred vision and itching around the genitals. But, feeling thirsty all the time could also be a sign of the condition, Diabetes.co.uk revealed. Dr Ajay Rote - Diab Mob: 8888844586 Email: email@example.com United Cigma Hospital Aurangabad What all types of diabetes have in common is that they cause people to have too much glucose (sugar) in their blood. But we all need some glucose. It’s what gives us our energy. We get glucose when our bodies break down the carbohydrates that we eat or drink. And that glucose is released into our blood. We also need a hormone called insulin. It’s made by our pancreas, and it’s insulin that allows the glucose in our blood to enter our cells and fuel our bodies. If you don’t have diabetes, your pancreas senses when glucose has entered your bloodstream and releases the right amount of insulin, so the glucose can get into your cells. But if you have diabetes, this system doesn’t work. Type 1 and Type 2 When you’ve got Type 1 diabetes, you can’t make any insulin at all. If you’ve got Type 2 diabetes, it’s a bit different. The insulin you make either can’t work effectively, or you can’t produce enough of it. In both types of diabetes, because glucose can’t get into your cells, it begins to build up in your blood. And too much glucose in your blood causes a lot of different problems. To begin with it leads to diabetes symptoms, like having to wee a lot, being incredibly thirsty, and feeling very tired. You may also lose weight, get infections like thrush or suffer from slow healing wounds. Complications Over a long period of time, high glucose levels in your blood can seriously damage your heart, your eyes, your feet and your kidneys. These are known as the complications of diabetes. But with the right treatment and care, people can live a healthy life. And there's much less risk that someone will experience these complications. Diabetes symptoms can cause serious long-term health problems if left untreated or not treated properly.Signs of the condition can include peeing more than usual, particularly at night, feeling thirsty all the time, feeling very tired, losing weight without trying to, and blurred vision, according to the NHS.The key to managing and preventing diabetes is keeping active, as well as a balanced diet. But which diet is best?Diabetes.co.uk recommends the Mediterranean Diet. As well as being protective against type 2 diabetes, Mediterranean diets rich in fruit, vegetables and fibre can help people with diabetes to control their blood sugar levels. The diet is primarily composed of oily fish, poultry, fresh fruit and vegetables, legumes, fresh bread, pasta, and olive oil.The site explains: “One of the reasons why Mediterranean diets are healthy is that they include a strong vegetable content. Vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, olives, onions, rocket and lettuce are not only great for blood glucose levels but make for very usually appealing meals too.” Related articles Diabetes type 2: 79p spice in your tea could lower blood sugar Diabetes type 2: This blood sugar level may indicate condition When it comes to fruit, you should be able to include a moderate amount in your diet. But Diabetes.co.uk says if you are susceptible to sharp spikes in blood glucose levels opt for lower carb fruits such as berries. In terms of pasta and bread, not everyone with diabetes can handle starchy foods as well as others, so make sure it’s freshly made and stick to portion sizes that won’t greatly raise your sugar levels. The diet is often recommended by health experts, as well as the NHS, because it has a higher proportion of unsaturated to saturated fats, includes plenty of fresh vegetables and depends on largely unprocessed foods.Another way blood sugar levels could be controlled is through taking ginseng supplements, according to nutritionist Dr Josh Axe.On the website, it cites a study done at the Tang Center for Herbal Medicine Research in Chicago measured the anti-diabetic and anti-obesity effects of Panax ginseng berry in adult mice. After five days of ingesting 150 milligrams of ginseng berry extract, the mice had significantly lower fasting blood glucose levels. I'm Dave and I was struggling with diabetes. I've been diabetic for over 20 years. I was noticing a lot, especially at the end of the day, that I felt very tired and run down. I was almost borderline falling asleep driving home from work. When I first was diagnosed, I was put on a strict low-fat diet and instructed by my doctor to get on an exercise regime. Over time, my blood sugar kept creeping up. I was put first on metformin, and probably 4 or 5 years after that I was put on various other diabetes drugs... I can't even remember the names of all of them. Then, when my blood sugar started going back up out of control, even with taking the insulin, that's when the real... I guess... fear set in. What is the end point for this? The turning point was just as I was having these feelings, we just got a postcard in the mail from Dr. Brad. And up until that point in time, we had never gone to a meeting where there was an alternative, other that old medicine and pills. Within months, at the most, after seeing Dr. Brad, my blood sugars were running so low, that I was taken off of insulin. I've lost over 40 pounds in less than a year. My whole wardrobe needed to be changed because I just didn't fit in the clothes that I used to wear, I just felt really, really good about myself. That, finally, I was able to do something that I never thought was possible to do. I think the people here are just fantastic! Dr. Brad has just been such a breath of fresh air! My name is Dave and I'm healing with Integrated Health of Minnesota.

Take Dr. Berg's Body Type Quiz: http://bit.ly/BodyTypeQuiz Dr. Eric Berg talks about Sugar and diabetes. Sugar increases insulin which lowers the sugar in the blood and puts it in storage as fat. A healthy diet should consist of fats and moderate amount of proteins. A diabetic diet should have high quantities of fat. Sugar stimulates hunger and you carve for more food. 40 % of all heart diseases are related to excess sugar. Keeping your blood sugar levels in control is a primary objective for a healthy body. The current recommendations for carbohydrates based on the American Diabetes Associations is 45-60 grams of carbohydrates PER MEAL!!!!! not per day, per meal. http://www.diabetes.org/food-and-fitn... blood sugar problems can be improved if the right foods are eaten, but overall sugars and carbs must be reduced. Fats can be increased. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, 50 years of age is a chiropractor who specializes in weight loss through nutritional and natural methods.
