WATCH THIS BEFORE YOU PAY FOR NOOM!!! Keep watching to see all that happened. Consumers, beware. UPDATE as of 10/5/2018 BELOW. Noom emailed me numerous times, wanting me to get on the phone with them. I asked over and over what they wanted to talk about, as everything I needed to say is here. They were still not very straightforward and merely kept saying "so we can improve." After a lot of back and forth, they offered me $50 (which doesn't cover the over $60 I was charged), but I took it. This situation was then passed over to a higher up, and I said that he could ask me anything over email, as I will be working all day and we'd play phone tag. He disregarded what I said and gave me his schedule for a phone call. I realized that this was not the kind of company that exhibits empathy or even acknowledging that they were about to inconvenience me further. It was only about their needs. I was not interested in having anything NOT in writing, so dismissed his request for a phone call. Because I had to dispute this on my credit card, my Itunes ID was shut down. I had to sit on the phone for over an hour to get this resolved. Again, because of Noom. I cannot say this enough, BEWARE. #NewYorkStateAttorneyGeneral, #BetterBusinessBureau, #BadReview

Im sure youve seen it, We've all been up late at night maybe laying in bed falling asleep and all the sudden an infomercial pops on showing the newest most trendy Fitness Gadget thats gonna change your life. However most of these gadgets are made by people with Deep Pockets with no actual understanding of what it takes to help you burn some fat, lose some weight, or gain some muscle. It might be easy for me to spot BS Fitness Products because I've been a trainer for over 10 years but the average consumer unfortunately will many times fall for these gimmicks. So today I want to go over the nine most insane Fitness Products that you should never buy and you should never fall for. Number one............ Jesus...........the igallop. Now I really don't believe that anyone that watches this channel would fall for this one but I figured I'd start with one of the more exciting BS Fitness products. The idea is based on the premise that horseback riding is a great workout which I don't deny even though horseback riding is not really what I would recommend for fat loss or for toning your abs.... there are much better more effective ways out there but this product claims it'll tone your abs in a fun way. And by the way it's only four hundred dollars. Luckily I'm not going to spend a lot of time on this one let's move on to something that people actually do believe in. devices that claim they burn fat and build muscle through electric stimulation. The most common are electric AB belts but recently the bs has gotten out of control and now they're saying that you can run a whole marathon on your couch by Shocking your legs. No I'm not kidding.....i wish i was. Now the big problem with these magical electric workout belts and straps is that the consumers they target are typically overweight people that want to avoid traditional exercise. These belts claim that they're able to burn calories to help you lose body fat and this claim is flat out untrue. You won't be burning much body fat sitting in a chair with the ab belt on or with it off. It won't decrease body fat it won't increase muscle size and the only results that you might get is a a slight increase in muscle strength if you're one of those people that avoids exercise at all costs. Because obviously traditional exercise would be way more effective. Most people buy these devices because they're trying to lose fat especially around their stomach and love handles and unfortunately the current has a much harder time traveling through fat than through muscle so this device is ironically made for leaner people. All the infomercials that you'll see about these products will have fit lean people but what they don't show is all the working out and dieting that goes into that person before they strap on these silly devices. Not one study of these devices has revealed a change in abdominal skinfold thickness which conclusively proves you won't lose body fat using these products. And some of these companies have been sued so they're no longer allowed to suggest that these products will help you lose weight or body fat or belly fat of any kind without diet and exercise. Number three detoxes and cleanses this one has been growing in popularity even after I thought this fad was over. There's two reasons why people do detoxes and cleanses number one is usually because they want to lose some weight or some body fat but number two which everyone says is the real reason they do it is to detox their body. So let me start by saying that the only ingredient in all these detox recipes that has demonstrated in some studies to maybe help you lose some extra body fat when combined with a diet and exercise program is apple cider vinegar all that other stuff the lemon juice the Cucumbers the mangoes the honey they all do NOTHING. As far as the detox claims, we happen to have a liver lungs kidneys and our skin to naturally detox our body. There's no way to make something that works perfectly well in a healthy body work even better. Other than living a healthy lifestyle there is no need to detox the body. And if you're not living a healthy lifestyle right now the best way to detox your body is to start living a healthy lifestyle.

Whey protein is actually a tremendous tool for those of you looking to lose weight. That’s why today, I am going to show you exactly how to use whey protein for weight loss. Here are the 7 best tips and steps for beginners. 1. Understand what whey protein actually is. Whey is the liquid part of milk that gets separated when cheese is made. If you’ve ever opened a yogurt container and have seen a watery substance at the top, this is whey protein. This liquid substance is what is turned into powder form to create whey protein. Just in case you’re wondering, this process also cuts out the 95% of the lactose so if you’re allergic to dairy, you really have nothing to fear. 2. Understand the different types of whey protein powder. There are three main forms of protein powder: whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolestate. Concentrate is about 70-80% protein with some milk sugar and fat. Isolate is 90% protein and has a little less sugar and fat. Hydrolysate is also known as hydrolyzed whey, has virtually 0 sugar and fat, and is mixed with enzymes for the faster digestion into the blood stream. So, you may be wondering, does the type of protein matter? Not really. The minute differences between to two are not enough that it should cause you any stress or concern. Leave that sort of worrying for your overall diet and exercise routine. For what it’s worth, most of the studies are done using whey isolate and it’s what I use as well. 3. Understand why protein works so well for weight loss There are 3 reasons are particularly compelling… #1. It will keep you full. Protein can cut down sugar cravings by as much as 60%. #2. It’s easy. As long as you have a blender bottle on hand, all you need to do is add water. Which is great to have on the go or at work where eating healthy is more difficult. #3. It preserves lean muscle tissue when dropping weight. This ensures that when you do lose weight the majority of it is fat. We talk a lot about protein on this channel and this is just the short list of reasons why. 4. Whey protein has lots of other proven health benefits, which helps the body function better and makes weight loss easier. Things like: Improves muscle performance Lowers blood pressure Reduces symptoms of stress Helps you get in more water naturally And contains a small amount of antioxidants. Are additional reasons why whey protein is important and helpful for weight loss. 5. What are the best times to take whey protein? In order of importance. Take 30 minutes before or after your workouts. This has been shown to help with muscle development and recovery after a workout. Take 30 minutes before meals or dinning out. This will help you keep you from binge eating and give you more control over what you eat when out with friends or family members. Finally, you can use it as a healthy snack. Whenever my chocolate cravings hit mid day, I use it to get in my chocolate fix without all the sugar. 6. What should you mix it with? Water or unsweetened nut milks like cashew, almond, and coconut work best. Try to avoid using milk as it has a good amount of sugar. Other great places to use protein is in oatmeal, Greek yogurt, and smoothies for a flavor boost. This really adds a great taste to the otherwise bland healthy foods. 7. How much should you get in? Ugh. LOL. Here we go! This is definitely on par or worse than the Victoria's Secret Diet. Have you tried this before? I did the military diet for a week and survived to tell the tale. I Ate One Meal a Day For 30 Days And Here's What Happened

Whichever the case may be, I'll recommend you sit tight as I walk you through just about everything you need to know. First off, the one-meal-a-day diet is exactly what it sounds like — it's a plan that restricts you to just one meal a day. In essence, you'll get to eat whatever you want but of course, you can't go beyond a single meal. For the most part, the diet plan is created to challenge your traditional views on food intake and nutrition. And according to a few doctors, it could be the key to sustainable weight loss. Well, guess what? I decided to try the diet plan for 30 days and figured I should make this video to let you in on the pros and cons. Of course, at the end of the day, you'll decide if the plan is for you or not. Let's jump right in! Pros • It's simple and straightforward As mentioned earlier, the one-meal-a-day diet comes with one simple rule — just eat one meal a day and you're good! Essentially, there's no need for calorie counting, complex meal planning or special ingredients, weighing and the likes. You just have to stick to the simple rule! • You'll get to eat all your favorite food This is perhaps the biggest highlight of the one-meal-a-day diet — it gives you the freedom to eat whatever you want, say sweet potato chips, ice-cream, cheeseburgers and more. Well, I wouldn't recommend you eat everything at once though! • Reduced appetite Well, I don't know if you're going to experience this but I discovered that after fasting for most of the day, I didn't have the urge to eat too much afterward. Well, at this point, I'll just stick to the claims that fasting shrinks your stomach and make you want to eat less. You can give the plan a shot and of course, see if you feel the same way. • Sustainable weight loss Finally, the whole idea of eating one meal a day can be incredibly effective for weight loss. But of course there's a pretty reasonable catch — you have to try not to overeat at your one meal. Remember, weight loss is the plan, so do your best to stick to it! Cons • Hunger Pains Yes, this is clearly the biggest drawback of the one-meal-a-day diet. To be honest, I felt the hunger pains at first but of course, it got better as I grew more used to the routine. So what's the point? Well, the diet plan requires you to tolerate a certain level of hunger right off the bat; this is the only way to start the journey and stick with it! Note: I wouldn't recommend you try the one-meal-a-day diet if you're prone to binge eating — you may actually end up seeing little to no result. • Low energy levels As most of us know, any diet that restricts your calories can make you feel lethargic. When you start the one-meal-a-day plan, there's a good chance of feeling more tired than usual — I also experienced it. What's more, people who rely on sugary snacks to get an energy boost may find it hard to stick with the plan. Parting Words The one-meal-a-day diet plan is clearly not for everyone but, of course, you won't be wrong to try it if you can keep up with the rule. After 30 days on the one-meal-a-day diet plan, I actually lost a couple of pounds and I felt really good about it! Who wouldn't? Can walking help you to lose weight? So many of us do sports, go to the gym, and try different diets... And all this time we didn’t even realize that everyday lengthy walks, as shown by a number of studies, are no less effective against excess pounds. However, there are some rules you should follow for walking to replace a whole set of exercises. Keep in mind, for example, that you should never follow your friend’s schedule even if you exercise together. You need your own plan! This device will tell you how much you’ve walked during the day. - Keep in mind that the result depends on your characteristics, lifestyle, food habits, and health condition. You should always count your daily workout routine very carefully. - Try to driving or taking a bus less. If you become bored quickly during long walks, try to listen to your favorite music or radio. - Stop using elevators and escalators. At least for a month. - Walk your dog for longer. It will make both you and your dog much healthier and happier. - Keep in mind that your steps are uneven and can vary from a foot to a yard. To count your step length, measure a distance of 30 to 65 feet, and cover it at your usual pace while counting steps. - Start with a light load, gradually increasing the duration and pace. You should raise the length of your walks first, and only then increase the tempo. The loads should be adequate for your health. - Practice walking regularly. A walk a week won’t do you any good. If you can’t take walks every day, then do it at least 2-3 times a week. It can be done at any convenient time but no earlier than 1-1.5 hours after a meal. - You should also remember that a slow walk over a short distance will be useless. However, if you walk too fast and for too long being unprepared, you may even cause harm to yourself. Rant time, Queen Bees! I gained 5 pounds over the past 2 months, despite the fact I eat very well and exercise 5-6 times a week. Something is up and I am going to find out what is going on with me.... I am in the middle of trying the newest Beachbody eating program called 2B Mindset and while I do plan on making an official review of this program, I was in quite a mood after stepping on the scale and seeing my weight climb - YET AGAIN. ARGHHH! Is it my cycle? Is it muscle growth? Something just doesn't feel right. I used to do a very similar style of working out 5-6 times a week, and eating a clean diet (80-20) and I was MUCH lower in weight. I just have 0 clue as to why I can't lose weight even though I am following the nutrition program AND working out HARD.
