Every death is individual, just as we are all different in life. There are a few common changes that happen. Knowing what these changes are and how to manage them may be helpful. It is usual and normal for people to experience these changes when death is near: More tiredness and sleeping more Eating and drinking less Less passing urine and faeces Being more drowsy and less alert There is no need to be worried or concerned about these changes as they are part of the usual process of preparing for death. Eating and drinking – If the person who is dying does not ask for food or drink or declines them there is no need to worry or try to force them to eat or drink Mouth care – The person who is dying might not feel thirsty but their mouth can become dry and this can feel uncomfortable. You can help keep their mouth moist by giving them ice chips to suck or using a moistened swab [demonstrate use of swab] Breathing – Sometimes people can have very noisy breathing; this breathing can sound very alarming but the person who is dying is not usually distressed by it. There is medication that can reduce this sound. Pain and agitation – There is medication that can reduce these symptoms Confusion – The person who is dying may be a bit confused. There is medication that can assist with this. You can also assist by telling them where they are and that they are being looked after. Confusion may be lessened by playing music that the person likes and having family members (familiar faces) around (especially if the person is in an unfamiliar environment such as the hospital). Changing position – An air bed or a hospital bed and air mattress can be provided to help the person who is dying to feel comfortable in bed and to help you help them to change position every few hours. A person can be close to death but not yet passed away for days or sometimes weeks. Sometimes a person can move close to death but then recover again; they may move in and out of this stage. Even if a person wants to die at home, sometimes the final stages can be too much; it can be overwhelming. It is okay to call for help and ask for the person to be admitted to the local hospital. There are palliative care rooms available at Ararat, Maryborough, Willaura, Stawell, St Arnaud, and Beaufort. These rooms provide some privacy and opportunity for you to be with the dying person and nursing staff are available to assist you in caring. There may be the opportunity for a carer to sleep overnight at the hospital with the person who is dying – if this is what you would like to do, ask the staff about this option. When Amy Redhead received the terrifying news that she had bowel cancer, she had to make certain decisions about her treatment. Not only that, but she also chose to face the disease in the most public of ways, leaving the Facebook community inspired and heartbroken at the same time. Amy Redhead’s life story is nothing short of tragic. Until recently, she was a normal 28-year-old woman living in the West Midlands, U.K. But on October 25, 2017, she and her family were given some devastating news. Redhead was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Unfortunately, Redhead had always been more likely to get bowel cancer than the average person. That’s because she had a condition called colitis – an inflammation of the intestines. Ever since she was 11 years old she was aware that she was at risk of getting cancer one day. Metastatic Breast Cancer - living the last weeks in the 'dying time' by Polly Samuel (aka 'Donna Williams') All trips with metastatic cancer are different. Some will be short, some medium, some long. Some will allow for transition for oneself and family and friends, some will cut that short. Some will be more painful, distressing, uncomfortable than others. My story of these weeks of remaining physical life living with metastatic breast cancer with extensive spread to my liver represents only my own journey. Personally, it has been transformative, challenging, harrowing, beautiful and epic. I hope it adds to the collections of stories out there about how some people still live so much in the dying time.

20 early warning signs that cancer is growing in your body 1. Wheezing/shortness of breath Lung cancer patients remember noticing this as one of their first symptoms but didn't initially connect it to cancer. 2. Frequent fevers or infections Frequently a sign of leukemia, a cancer of the blood cells that starts in bone marrow. It causes the marrow to produce abnormal white blood cells that hinder your body's infection-fighting abilities. 3. Difficulty swallowing Most commonly associated with throat cancer, but can be a good indicator of lung cancer too. 4. Weakness and fatigue Such a common symptom of cancer that it should be looked at in combination with other symptoms to determine which it is. 5. Feeling full and unable to eat This is a sign of ovarian cancer. A loss of appetite even when you haven't eaten for a while is a tip-off. 6. Anorexia Could be an early sign of pancreatic cancer. A sudden disgust for coffee, wine or smoking can be linked to this as well. 7. Rectal bleeding or blood in stool Common sign of colorectal cancer. Blood in the toilet should be a big enough sign to see a doctor immediately. 8. Lumps in the neck, underarm or groin area Swollen lymph nodes indicate changes in the lymphatic system which can lead to cancer. 9. Excessive bruising or bleeding that doesn't stop Suggests abnormalities with the platelets and red blood cells, which can be a sign of leukemia. Leukemia cells crowd out red blood cells impairing your blood's ability to carry oxygen leading to clots. 10. Bloating or abdominal weight gain Ovarian cancer patients reported unexplained bloating that came on suddenly and continued for a significant amount of time. 11. Unexplained weight loss An early sign of colon and other digestive cancers. Also a sign of cancer that has spread to the liver, affecting your appetite and the body's ability to get rid of waste. 12. A red, sore, or swollen breast Indicates inflammatory breast cancer, unexplained changes should be told to a doctor immediately. A nipple that appears flattened, inverted or turned sideways had also been noticed by patients diagnosed with breast cancer. 13. Swelling of facial features Lung cancer patients have reported noticing puffiness, swelling or redness of the face. Small cell lung tumors commonly block blood vessels in the chest preventing blood from flowing freely to the head. 14. Sore/lump on the skin that bleeds, becomes crusty or doesn't heal Different types of skin cancer (melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma) can cause these, so be aware of any odd-looking growths or spots. 15. Changes in nails A brown/black dot under the nail can indicate skin cancer. Pale or white nails can be a sign of liver cancer. "Clubbing", which is the enlargement of the fingers with nails that curve down over the tips, can be a sign of lung cancer. 16. Unusually heavy or painful periods, bleeding between periods A common sign of endometrial or uterine cancer. A transvaginal ultrasound should be considered if the problem persists. 17. Chronic cough or chest pain Leukemia and lung tumors (among others), show symptoms that can mimic a bad cough or bronchitis. Some patients also reported a chest pain that extended to the shoulder and down their arm. 18. Pelvic/Abdominal pain Pain and cramping in the pelvis can be linked with the bloating signs of ovarian cancer. Leukemia also does this because it enlarges the spleen. 19. Pain in back or lower right side Often an early sign of liver cancer. Breast cancer can also be found through this as a breast tumor can press backward into the chest or spread to the spine/ribs. 20. Upset stomach Stomach cramps or a frequently upset stomach can be a sign of colorectal cancer. Subscribe ► https://goo.gl/1dVtUS Thank you for watching. DVD OUT NOW http://www.lifebeforedeath.com "Cancer Pain" Short Film 9 of 50 in the LIFE Before Death documentary series about the global crisis in untreated pain and the dramatic life changing effect palliative care services can deliver to patients and their families around the world. In this Short Film we discover that cancer is the most feared disease and the problem of cancer pain is an escalating problem worldwide. "Studies in a number of countries have shown when you ask people what disease worries them most if they thought they had it, cancer is streets ahead of anything else," reports Professor David Hill (Australia). Over 12 million people are likely to be diagnosed with cancer this year alone and 7 million will die of the disease. Cancer kills more people than AIDS and tuberculosis combined. "There are at least 5 million people who die of cancer each year with untreated pain," states Dr Kathleen Foley (USA). "We think this is an underestimate of pain in the world because there are 12 million survivors of cancer, people living with cancer, and we know about a third of them experience pain." Dr Eva Rossina Duarte Juarez (Guatemala) agrees that cancer is indeed painful. "In the situation of advanced illnesses, people need to be able to die in peace." Breast cancer patient Carmen (Australia) reflects that she doesn't fear death however she did fear the essential medications designed to treat her cancer pain. "I had a lot of pain on every level, whether it was physical or emotional." Dr Mark Boughey (Australia) of Caritas Christi Hospice in Melbourne explains, "When Carmen got here pain was the big issue... She had that really problematic neuropathic pain so you couldn't even touch her skin without her screaming and being distressed." "This problem is very much with us, it's a global problem, but also there are things we can do to bring the escalating problem of cancer under control," Professor David Hill. Carmen reflects that professional treatment of her pain brought back her sanity and quality of life. "I'm very blessed to have had this opportunity ... I've had really good care." Featuring Professor David Hill (Australia), Dr Kathleen Foley (USA), Dr Eva Rossina Duarte Juarez (Guatemala), Dr Mark Boughey (Australia), Carmen (Australia). LIFE Before Death will include 50 short films themed around pain control and end of life issues, releasing one a week for a year from May 2011. A feature film was released in early 2012 and is available at http://www.lifebeforedeath.com The project is presented by the Lien Foundation and produced by Moonshine Movies. It is also supported by the International Association for the Study of Pain, The Mayday Fund, the Union for International Cancer Control and The Institute for Palliative Medicine at San Diego Hospice International Programs. In the late stages of endometrial cancer, Dr. Bernadette Tynan candidly describes the dangers of mis-diagnosis and the early warning signs that women should be aware of. The video was made in August 2017, one month before Bernadette sadly passed away. The film includes scenes from Bernadette's home town of St Astier, France, which was decorated for the traditional Félibrée festival in the summer of 2017. In February of 2008 he was cancer free. But on July 3rd 2010 the cancer would come back Ann Fuller says, "There's so little awareness about childhood cancer- every school day 46 children are diagnosed - AJ was that twice - every school day 7 of those kids will die and AJ will be one of those 7 soon." From the outside AJ is very fragile- but on the inside you can tell there is an everyday 10 year old ... Fuller says, "If you try to plan for the future it gets overwhelming so so you have to take it as it comes and so you just pray every step of the way."They say while spending their last few days with AJ will be difficult... They stay focused on his destination ... Fuller says, "It is disheartening but at the same time when you look and you know there is a better place for him no more struggles - he will be free."And enjoying the time they have with him now...AJ spent this Halloween handing out candy in his costume... I am dying of cancer. As a cancer patient, he chemotherapy side effects are gruesome. My skin caner (melanoma) has turned into lung cancer. This chemotherapy (chemo) diary is necessary for me to attempt to describe what is going on with my life. The chemo is so unlike anything else I have ever experienced, it was very hard for me to construct an emotionally appropriate video according to the way I felt during the experience. This was as close as I could com, so here is Diary of a Dying Man.. My goal is not to gross anyone out, but to transfer a notion of life that might not ordinarily be understood. This is real, this is how I feel. | Diaries of a Dying Man (D.D.M.) by Joshua Kline | My name is Joshua and I have cancer, welcome to my videos. Cancer of the liver can move slowly and go undetected for quite a while. After all, your liver is such a regenerative and resilient organ, it can continue to function just enough to keep you going even when there is serious damage and disease at play. Secondary liver cancer is more prevalent than primary liver cancer; the term refers to cancer that originates somewhere else in the body and moves to the liver (metastasizes), where it continues to grow. Once liver cancer symptoms begin to materialize, they normally indicate a later stage cancer, but there is a chance to catch the disease early – and hopefully slow or stop the progression – if you spot any of these suspicious signs. Chalotte Rae, familiar to millions of TV viewers as the housemother on the '80s sitcom The Facts of Life, was diagnosed in 2009 with pancreatic cancer, an often-silent killer with few if any symptoms until it is too late. Some 40,000 new cases of pancreatic cancer are diagnosed each year, and by the time diagnosis is made, up to 80 percent of patients are no longer candidates for treatment. "I had no symptoms," Rae says. "I had absolutely no symptoms. None whatsoever." But Rae was, in a way, lucky. Because she had a family history of the disease - her mother, uncle and older sister all died from the disease - she underwent early screening, which detected the cancer at an early stage. "We're working hard to develop tests for earlier diagnosis," says Howard Reber, M.D., director of the UCLA Pancreatic Cancer Program. The goal is to create something similar to the PSA test now done to detect prostate cancer in its early stages, before it has had a chance to spread. "In patients where we know that there's an increased likelihood of the development of the disease, we can screen them, we can get CT scans, we can get endoscopic ultrasounds," Dr. Reber says. In Rae's case, the cancer was detected and found to be contained, but it was growing fast. Surgery was performed to remove the cancer, and now, following surgery and chemotherapy, Rae is cancer free. Early Warning Signs of Pancreatic Cancer Diabetes, especially if it comes on suddenly. Recently, the Mayo Clinic published startling research showing that 40 percent of pancreatic cancer patients had been diagnosed with diabetes one to two years before discovering they had a pancreatic tumor. Researchers believe the diabetes is caused by tumors that simply haven't been detected yet. The problem is, diabetes is very common, and the majority of diabetes isn't pancreatic cancer, so doctors are trying to develop screening tools to tell the difference. Right now, they say family history is an important clue. If you're diagnosed with diabetes that seems to come on suddenly and you have no family history of diabetes, bring this to your doctor's attention and ask for further screening for pancreatic cancer. Yellowing of the eyes or skin. Even a small pancreatic tumor can block the bile duct in the head of the pancreas, causing bile to build up. This causes jaundice. Itchy skin, palms, and soles of feet. A little-known side-effect of jaundice is itchy hands and feet. It's due to a skin reaction to the bilirubin, the yellowish brown liver chemical that causes jaundice. Lack of appetite. An Italian study found that six to eight months before being diagnosed with pancreatic tumors, patients reported a sudden drop in their appetite and a tendency to feel full after eating very little. Changes in taste. In the same Italian study, some of the patients surveyed said they'd suddenly lost their taste for coffee, wine, and smoking. In fact, they said, they felt "disgust" for the smell and taste of coffee and alcohol. Abdominal pain. Pancreatic cancer sufferers remember this pain as a gnawing pain, rather than a sharp cramp or ache, and it radiates toward the back. A characteristic clue: the pain goes away when you lean forward. An enlarged gall bladder. The same blockage of the bile duct that causes jaundice can also cause an enlarged gallbladder, as the bile builds up behind the duct. The good news is that an enlarged gallbladder can be seen on imaging tests, and it may even be possible for a doctor to feel it during a physical exam. Pale, floating, smelly stools. If a pancreatic tumor prevents digestive enzymes from reaching the intestine, the result is an inability to digest fatty foods. So you end up with loose, smelly "floaters" as a result of the excess fat. Doctors say this symptom, in particular, can be an early clue and is too often overlooked. Dark, tarry stools. Bleeding in the upper intestines causes this symptom. Sudden, unexplained weight loss. Weight loss is not always, as many people mistakenly believe, a sign of advanced cancer that's spread to the liver. It can also happen because a lack of pancreatic enzymes is causing fat to pass through the body undigested. New videos everyday! For more information on the symptoms of Bowel, Colon, Rectal or any other Cancer visit: http://cruk.org/spotcancerearly Clive tells us how he went to his doctor when he first had symptoms of bowel cancer. Learn about possible symptoms of bowel cancer and why it is important to see your doctor as soon as you have symptoms. I'm Clive Barlow I'm from Lythm in saint annes, I'm a retired HR manager. I was diagnosed in 2003 with bowel cancer. For some reason I happened to notice blood in my stool one day when I went to the toilet. I kept that to myself but then it continued and it had gone on for a couple more weeks then I did spoke to my wife and through the conversations it's one of those things I guess men are a bit like that in terms of 'oh it'll go away, it'll sort itself out' but with a bit of persistence and nagging she said I think you'd better go and get it checked out. At that time you don't want to think that it's Cancer because that happens to everybody else and not yourself. When you have that conversation and the consultant tells you that caught it in the early stages and it hasn't spread anywhere else on reflection you have to look back and say that that discussion that happened with my wife really saved my life. Certainly going through the experience I've gone through, I can highly recommend to go and see the doctor. The early diagnosis of my cancer has led me on to have another wonderful 9 years and hopefully more years to come in the future. If you notice any of these symptoms and they last longer than 4 to 6 weeks, tell your doctor: - Bleeding from the bottom without any obvious reason or blood in your poo. - A persistent change in bowel habit to looser or more frequent bowel motions. - Tummy pain, especially if severe. - A lump in your tummy.

Stomach cancer develops slowly and the chances of survival are very big if it is found in its early stages. Even though there are many treatments for cancer it is still deadly and the treatments are uncertain. STOMACH CANCER IS ALSO KNOWN AS GASTRIC CANCER AND HERE ARE ITS SYMPTOMS: Pain and heaviness in the abdominal area Lack of appetite Anemia Fatigue Irregular intestinal activity Pains in the abdomen Nausea and vomiting Bleeding The signs are very common and they can even be mistaken for a cold but if you are experiencing some of these symptoms you should consult your doctor and make some further investigations. PREVENTION Natural food Avoid processed foods, sugars, tobacco, and alcohol Consume turmeric on a regular basis The curcumin is a powerful antioxidant that is part of the turmeric and many studies have shown that it reduces the risk of many types of cancer. HOW SHOULD YOU USE IT? If you are consuming turmeric in a form of a capsule or alone it can’t be absorbed by the intestines. So, the best way to consume it is in combination with black pepper, ginger or dissolved in some oil. Ingredients Black pepper (a pinch) Extra virgin olive oil (1/2 tsp.) Turmeric (1/4 tsp.) PREPARATION Mix all the ingredients well and add this mixture to your salad, soup, or some other meal. Keep in mind that you shouldn’t heat it and avoid taking it late at night. Pancreatic cancer usually spreads rapidly and is seldom detected in its early stages, which is a major reason why it's a leading cause of cancer relating death. Signs and symptoms of pancreatic cancer may not appear until it is quite advanced and complete surgical removal isn't possible. Causes of pancreatic cancer. 1. Genes - the DNA type. 2. Genes - the family type. 3. Carcinogens. 4. Other medical factors. 5. Traits, habits, and diet. Stages of pancreatic cancer. Stage I. Cancer is confined to the pancreas and can be removed using surgery. Stage II. Cancer has spread beyond the pancreas to nearby tissues and organs and may have spread to the lymph nodes. At this stage, surgery may be possible to remove the cancer. Stage III. Cancer has spread beyond the pancreas to the major blood vessels around the pancreas and may have spread to the lymph nodes. Surgery may or may not be possible to remove the cancer at this stage. Stage IV. Cancer has spread to distant sites beyond the pancreas, such as the liver, lungs and the lining that surrounds your abdominal organs. Surgery isn't an option at this stage in the disease. Ever wondered what happens to your body after you die? Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: If there is a common thread that brings us all together, it is the fact that one day we will all die. Despite what religion may say, none of us actually know what will happen once we die. One of the factors that bring in a lot of anxiety is what will happen to our body. There are about ten stages of death all together, and learning about them is enough to make anyone queasy, but it shouldn’t matter about it happening to you because, well, you’ll be dead. While we don’t know as to whether our consciousness survives, if we go to heaven, linger on the earth, or just cease to exist, science can at least answer the physical questions about what happens to our body. Unfortunately, science’s answers about physical death doesn’t do much to comfort a grieving family, or give peace to someone who may be fearing death to an extreme. But, the simple fact is that we will all eventually die, hopefully after living long and fulfilling lives. When death begins, you no longer have the ability to cough or swallow. Therefore, you’re unable to get rid of the mucus in your lungs and you’ll start to produce the classic and well known “death rattle” when you breathe. Once you die, your organs will no longer be receiving oxygen, and they will begin to shut down. When all of your organs are dead, then you will be officially dead. But the death cycle does not stop there, the next stage is livor mortis, where the blood is no longer flowing and will begin to pool and cause a red/blue color in the skin. Cell death soon follows, as cells break down for not having any more ATP being produced by the liver and no oxygen is flowing through the body. Since there is no blood flow, rigor mortis will take place, where the muscles will stiffen. The corpse may end up making squealing or moaning noises from the vocal chords stiffening up as well. Purge fluid will also come up from the nose and mouth, which is simply a reddish-brown fluid that is often mistaken for blood. While the cells break down, they will emit a chemical that will break down the rest of the cells in your body causing putrefaction. Decomposition soon follows where the body will bloat from the cadaverine and putrescine. Soon, your body then begins to dry up and fluids are lost. This is what the ancient Egyptians were trying to achieve in mummification by bypassing the stages of death and jumping straight to the loss of fluids. The final stages of death include your skin and organs drying up and falling apart off your skeleton. Bugs and other friends of nature may feast on your body for the last remaining nutrients that you have. Eventually, you will be reduced to nothing more than a skeleton, and your death cycle is complete. Lucky for us, we won’t be conscious for 90% of the stages of death. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheRichest.org Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheRichest_Com Instagram: http://instagram.com/therichest ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Featuring: Death Begins Organ Death Livor Mortis Cell Death Rigor Mortis Purge Fluid Putrefaction Decomposition Loss of Fluids Final Stages ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.therichest.com/

Stomach cancer symptoms you should not ignore video will tell you about early warning signs stomach cancer in female and also male. https://youtu.be/gKv4PAh9AqE Watch more videos about cancer: 11 Early Warning Signs of Cancer You Should Not Ignore ► https://youtu.be/4MKjfhwI0Mk 8 Early Signs of Lung Cancer Most People Ignore ► https://youtu.be/Rf3svWtJsjk Early Signs of Throat Cancer That is Growing in Your Body ► https://youtu.be/86pe1VBmyDI Stomach pain. Abdominal discomfort or pain in the abdomen above the navel could be a symptom of stomach cancer. Also, swelling or fluid build-up in the abdomen may also be caused by stomach cancer. Relentless heartburn. If you suffer from heartburn or indigestion and can’t seem to get rid of it this could be a sign something is playing up in your stomach. See your doctor if you’ve had heartburn most days for 3 weeks or more, even if you’re taking medicine and it seems to help. Blood in your stool or vomit. While far from a sure sign of stomach cancer, both colitis and Crohn's disease can cause bloody stool—but it can also be a sign of cancer. Blood in either your poop or your vomit demands a visit to a GI doctor. If the bleeding is related to cancer, the blood in your stool is likely to look maroon or tarry black. Unexplained weight loss. In fact, one of the major symptoms of the onset of stomach cancer is unexplained weight loss. If you find that you’re losing weight and have not made major changes to your diet or exercise regime, talk to your doctor about the issue. Feeling full. Many stomach cancer patients experience a sense of "fullness" in the upper abdomen after eating small meals. Bloating, diarrhea, and constipation. It makes sense that a cancer growing in your stomach could make you feel bloated, or mess with your bowel movements. While each of these symptoms is never going to scream "stomach cancer!" to a doctor, experiencing them with some of the other issues on this list could lead to cancer-related follow-up testing if your doctor can't pinpoint another explanation.

http://utahtexans.com/ Click on the link above for a free guide to buying and choosing dietary supplements! In the most basic of definitions leukemia is when damaged blood cells take over the body and allow harmful invaders to do bad things. Almost like if the entire police force of a city decided to all take LSD, and the criminals have nothing to stop them from robbing people and destroying property. The body needs to make billions of blood cells a day to do work. These blood cells are created in a person's bone marrow and there are three types. The first type of blood cell is a red one and its job is to carry oxygen around the body giving it to organs that need it. The second type are white blood cells and there job is to fight infections, and battle harmful invaders like viruses and bacteria. The last ones are platelets and they enable blood to clot with an injury almost like a natural Band-Aid. With leukemia a defective white blood cell known as a cancer cell is created and instead of doing its job it would rather be lazy and rebel. So the body sends out a signal for the cell to kill itself, and the rebel cell decides to ignore it, and it creates copies of itself. These copies continue to grow and overcrowd the normal healthy cells, and less blood cells are created because the body believes it has enough. If a harmful virus or bacteria enters the body the white cells are supposed to stop it from doing harm. Instead of normal healthy white blood cells dealing with it, the lazy cancerous cells go over and make friends with the invader. The harmful invading virus or bacteria begins to spread and gets someone sick. Since the body has defective white blood cells the person who is infected is likely to get sick much more frequently. This could include constantly getting a fever, a runny nose, a cough, and a feeling of wanting to vomit. Next the cancerous cells have been making copies of itself and has not only crowded out the white blood cells, but also the other blood cells. This includes red blood cells, which are supposed to deliver oxygen to where it's needed and eliminate carbon dioxide. Without enough oxygen organs begin to get weaker, just like if you had a difficult time with breathing. This could result in joint and muscle pains along with muscle weakness. These red blood cells also provide color for the skin so without enough of them a person starts to look almost dead, with more white colored skin. This is known as Anemia. There are also not enough platelets and do you know what this means? If someone has a cut it's going to continue to bleed and bleed without stopping. Next something known as bleeding in the skin may take place. This is when many very small red dots appear in the skin on the lower legs. If a person has leukemia the slightest of injuries could result in bruises. Bruises appear when blood vessels break due to an injury and blood leaks out of these vessels resulting in the ugly look of the bruise. Without enough platelets someone could experience blood in their urine or feces. Next blood could come from the nose, gums and teeth frequently. If it's really bad, bleeding could occur in the brain, intestinal tract and kidneys which could be very bad and kill a person. All these symptoms really depend on how fast the cancerous cells are growing. If it's really fast this might be better, since someone is more likely to notice them. Almost like with glaucoma where usually there is a slow reduction in peripheral vision and by the time someone notices it, much permanent damage has been done. This type of leukemia where it grows slowly is known as chronic, and if it grows really rapidly it's known as acute. A lot of cases of Leukemia are found when a doctor orders a few blood tests for an unrelated health issue or for a normal checkup. One great way to detect leukemia would be to continue to get routine checkups, so if you do have it you could more easily eliminate it before it grows. If you're over the age of fifty it should be every year and every 2 to 3 years for everyone else. Once someone knows they have this disease the most common treatments are chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy and a stem cell transplant. Stem cells are what create the blood cells in the bone marrow. All of these treatments are not really good because they have bad side effects, but eliminating the cancerous cells is the most important priority. You can reduce your chance of getting this health problem by not smoking tobacco, not eating Trans fats and ensuring you're getting all the vitamins you need. If you are interested in taking herbal remedies and dietary supplements for better health, I strongly recommend viewing a free guide I created on this topic. http://utahtexans.com/.

Liver cancer is an interesting disease. As with all cancers it affects the entire body, not just where it's centralized. The liver is one of the most important organs in your body. It is located on your right side just under the rib cage and diaphragm. It is the only internal organ that is capable of regenerating itself from as little as 25%. The liver has many functions. The first function is to produce bile, which helps aid digestion. After digestion, nutrients are delivered back to the liver for processing. Some nutrients, such as sugar, are retained by the liver and released if the body needs more energy. The liver also creates coagulation factors to help the body stop blood loss after an injury. Lastly the liver cleans blood by breaking down any toxic substance found inside the blood. Due to it’s many important functions, the liver is essential to sustaining life. Liver cancer, as the name suggests is cancer that affects the liver. Liver cancer often begins in the gallbladder or liver, but in some cases it can be transported through the bloodstream into the liver, where it begins to grow. The symptoms of liver cancer include weight loss, poor appetite, inflated abdomen, a lack of energy, discomfort in the abdomen, and fever. Often times the tumor has grown significantly before being discovered. Liver cancer can lead to liver failure, which can cause the skin and eyes to turn a yellowish color. To check for liver cancer doctors first examine the abdomen by feeling the liver to see if it is enlarged, and a blood sample is taken. If the doctor suspects a tumor they will then follow up with blood tests, an ultrasound, and a CT scan. If the cancer is not spread throughout the entire liver, the doctor may prefer to remove the infected part of the liver. With the liver’s extraordinary ability to regenerate, it can be back to normal size within a few months. If removal is not possible, treatments of radio-frequency ablation, chemotherapy, or alcohol injection may be administered. These can all help prolong the life of a cancer patient. After all, whether you are sick or not, death is inevitable. The pathophysiology of Hepatocellular carcinoma has not been definitively elucidated and is clearly a multifactorial event. Inflammation, necrosis, fibrosis, and ongoing regeneration characterize the cirrhotic liver and contribute to hepatocellular carcinoma development The 1-year survival rate for people with liver cancer is 44%. The 5-year survival rate is 17%. For the 43% of people who are diagnosed at an early stage, the 5-year survival rate is 31%. If liver cancer has spread to surrounding tissues or organs and/or the regional lymph nodes, the 5-year survival rate is 11%. If the cancer has spread to a distant part of the body, the 5-year survival rate is 3%. The liver is the football-sized organ in the upper right area of the belly. Symptoms are uncommon in the early stages of liver cancer. Later, symptoms may include weight loss, belly pain, vomiting, and yellowed skin. Treatments vary but may include removal of part of the liver, transplant, chemotherapy, and in some cases radiation. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a primary malignancy of the liver and occurs predominantly in patients with underlying chronic liver disease and cirrhosis. The cell(s) of origin are believed to be the hepatic stem cells, although this remains the subject of investigation. Tumors progress with local expansion, intrahepatic spread, and distant metastases. HCC is now the third leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide, with over 500,000 people affected. The incidence of HCC is highest in Asia and Africa, where the endemic high prevalence of hepatitis B and hepatitis C strongly predisposes to the development of chronic liver disease and subsequent development of HCC.
