Watch as Parents Magazine explains these baby care basics! Seasonal allergies may not kick in until your baby is around 1 year old, but more common allergies may be at play. Here are three clues that could mean your little one is suffering from baby allergies. Constant sneezing or sniffling and clear mucus without being accompanied by a fever are all telltale symptoms of allergies. Red and itchy eyes or skin could mean he has some eye or skin allergies. Sometimes these baby allergies target the eyes and skin before affecting the nose and lungs. The final sign to look out for is a family history of allergies. Parents who have allergies are more likely to pass them on to their babies, but their triggers may be different than yours or your spouse's. Closing windows on high pollen days and dusting and vacuuming regularly can reduce the amount of allergens in your home. If an air purifier with a hepa filter doesn't seem to be doing the trick, a trusted doctor can help you find the best treatment options based on your unique baby's needs! Each type of plant makes its own pollen. When the pollen you're allergic to is in the air, you might feel worse. Different types of plants pollinate during different times of year, and it's helpful to know this pattern. Trees release pollen in the spring, grasses in the summer, and weeds in the fall. There are ways to limit your exposure to pollen, including: -Limit your time outdoors -Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from pollen -Try a mask or other barrier to filter the air -Change your clothes when you return home for the day -Use the AC instead of opening windows -Don't mow if you're allergic to grass, or wear a mask if you must -Dry laundry inside -Bathe before bed to rinse off any pollen

Share this with your friends !!! This is the way to clean baby's nose when the baby gets rhinitis. You need 2 stuffs: 1. Injection needle (10ml, dont use the 20ml one 'cause its too big for the baby and it will cause the otitis). 2. Bottle of eyewash - Natri Clorid (same type with sea water using to clean baby's nose). You assemble the tiny cork of eyewash bottle to the injection needle after absorbing the sea water into the needle. Then, spay into baby's nose as the video. Professor Antonella Muraro, Paediatric Allergist and Head of the Food Allergy Center, Padua University Hospital, Italy, discusses the process of diagnosing and confirming diagnosis of Cow's Milk Protein Allergy (CMPA) in infants. Although CMPA is common in children, particularly babies, it is sometimes difficult to diagnose. There are allergy tests which can be carried out to aid diagnosis, however no one test can be used in isolation. The results of each allergy test forms a key piece of the puzzle. As a Paediatric Allergist and Head of the Food Allergy Centre at Padua University Hospital in Italy, Professor Antonella Muraro is an expert in diagnosing CMPA and in this video, answers the following questions: 1. What tests exist to help the diagnosis of CMPA? 2. Are these tests reliable? I'm going to give you an extensive overview of allergic rhinitis symptoms and seasonal allergy symptoms in this video. Do spring flowers and bright blue skies give you a runny nose and itching eyes? Subscribe so you’ll never miss my latest videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBve_ppCNE67fs3MsIocitg?sub_confirmation=1 Be sure to follow me on: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dr.frita/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Dr.Frita Twitter: https://twitter.com/DrFrita Ah yes. We complain all through the bitter cold winter, and we can't wait to get to the warm spring. But for many people, April showers bring May flowers and seasonal allergy symptoms or allergic rhinitis. What is allergic rhinitis? Rhinitis is the inflammation of the nasal passages or upper airways. It causes symptoms such as a runny nose, stuffy nose, itchy throat, and it can lead to the melodious spring sounds. Allergic rhinitis can occur at any age, but it most commonly presents in children and in young adults. You are at increased risk for allergic rhinitis if you have a family member with seasonal allergies or if you have asthma or eczema. If you have allergic rhinitis, you are not alone, because over 20 million Americans also have allergic rhinitis. The actress and singer, Scarlett Johansson, who has starred in multiple Marvel movies, including The Avengers, Iron Man 2, Captain America, well, she also suffers from seasonal allergies, and the actor, Orlando Bloom, also has allergic rhinitis. You know him, of course. You've seen him in the Lord of the Rings and the Pirates of the Caribbean. What causes allergic rhinitis? Allergic rhinitis is caused by small airborne particles that trigger the immune system. These particles are called allergens. This is what happens in your body. You walk outside. You inhale the nice spring air. As you inhale it, you notice your car that you just got washed yesterday is now covered with that bright yellow-green pollen. As you have inhaled spring's nature, you have also inhaled some particles of pollen, a tiny airborne particle. This pollen, or an allergen, now triggers your immune system. It triggers an inflammation in your nasal passages by releasing immune cells, such as mast cells and basophils. These cells stimulate the release of histamines which cause the inflammation in your nasal passages. Once you have this inflammation, it then causes you to have nasal congestion or stuffiness. It can cause a runny nose. It can cause an itching in the back of your throat or in your ears. It can also cause postnasal drip, which is the sensation that mucus is just dripping from the back of your nose to the back of your throat. These are those symptoms of allergic rhinitis. As your immune system continues to be triggered, these symptoms can spread from just your nasal passages on into your lower airways or your lungs. You can then get inflammation in your lungs which can cause shortness of breath or wheezing. You can also get symptoms in your eyes from your immune system. Red eyes, itching eyes, running eyes. All of these things happen with allergic rhinitis which is triggered by allergens. What are some other allergens that trigger allergic rhinitis? We mentioned pollen, but also there's ragweed, mold, grass, trees, dust mites, pet dander or the hair from those lovable, adorable pets of yours, like cats and dogs. Also, beautiful spring flowers can be allergens that trigger allergic rhinitis. You can imagine that a beautiful green golf course has many of the allergens I just mentioned, which is why it's quite interesting that Tiger Woods has been reported to have seasonal allergies. Allergic rhinitis treatment or seasonal allergies remedies? Allergic Rhinitis can usually be diagnosed with a good history and physical from your physician, but if you are a person who has difficult to treat symptoms, you may require certain blood tests or allergy testing or skin testing. How do you treat allergic rhinitis? Well, since allergic rhinitis is caused by allergens which trigger your immune system, the best Allergic Rhinitis treatment is simply to avoid the allergens. This video discusses allergic rhinitis symptoms, allergic rhinitis treatment or seasonal allergy symptoms.

The common skin allergies, I divide them into 2 categories, one is drug induced allergies and the other is environmentally related or pollen related, dust related or dust mite related allergies. Dust mite related allergies, the common symptom on the skin is atopic eczema or airborne contact dermatitis. In these are the common allergies which the people see and this comes usually in 2 seasons, once in summer and once in winter these can cause severe itching reactions or eczematous reaction. These are environmental allergens that can cause the allergies. The other common cause for allergies from environmental factors are allergy to certain metals or dyes or pollen or chemicals or certain creams which contain some chemicals called as parabens. These cause external allergic reactions. Drug allergies are another manifest sometimes as fixed drug eruption or drug induced maculopapular rash or sometimes the more serious Steven’s Johnson’s syndrome or the most common toxic epidermal necrolysis. So these are the common skin allergies.

Dr. Rapp is dedicated to sharing important information about harmful environmental factors that can affect how children and adults feel, think and act in our high-tech, high-stress, high-profit world. The "progress at any cost" mentality is rapidly overwhelming our bodies as we attempt to cope with our increasingly polluted environment. Dr. Rapp is committed to educate both the public and health professionals about the ominous physical and behavioral changes frequently evident in children and adults. The more we know, the more we can protect ourselves and our loved ones by taking some often easy and inexpensive precautions. We simply have to be more informed so we can make better choices. In her breakthrough book, "Is This Your Child's World?" - Dr. Rapp identifies the major symptoms of potentially unrecognized allergies in children and adults, suggesting possible sensitivities to dust, mold, pollen, foods or chemicals. Allergies are much more than high fever, asthma and itchy skin. It is possible to identify allergies by simply looking at someone. At times it is surprisingly easy to find and eliminate the cause. The typical clues of allergies and environmental illness can include any combination of the following: Rubbing Nose Upwards, Eye Wrinkles, Dark Eye Circles, Sudden Aggression, Scarlet Earlobes, A Spacey Look, Extreme Activity Changes, Wiggly Legs, Red Cheeks, A Mottled Tongue

5 Ways To Clear A Baby Stuffy Nose At Night Quickly: In this video guide, I am going to share with you 5 Ways To Clear A Baby Stuffy Nose At Night Quickly. Subscribe to our channel for more videos. Watch: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEQaQwpapIw) A cold, the flu allergies, or a dry environment can all cause stuffy nose in toddlers. In a healthy child, mucus moisturizes and cleans the nasal membranes, but when the child becomes ill or is exposed to irritants, mucus production increases to help heal the infection or as a response to the irritant, resulting in a stuffy nose. Most children are not able to blow their noses until around age 4, which is why relieving a stuffy nose in toddlers requires special steps to help toddlers clear their nasal passages. Use a nasal aspirator to remove excess mucus from the toddler's nasal passages. Since most toddlers are not able to blow their noses, they require additional assistance in order to clear their stuffy noses. A nasal aspirator, also known as a bulb syringe, uses suction to pull mucus from the nostrils. Nasal aspirators have a bulb section and a long, narrow section you insert into the nostrils. Flush your child’s nasal passages with saline solution. saline solution is safe to use on babies and toddlers and can help clear a stuffy nose. If you make your own saline solution, be sure to use filtered or purified water, not tap water. Mix 1/4 tsp salt into one cup of warm water. Use steam to help relieve a stuffy nose. Warm steam can break up congestion by loosening nasal secretions. With your toddler, go into the bathroom and shut the door. Turn on the shower in a bathroom, using the warm water to generate steam. Remain in the bathroom 10 to 20 minutes. Remove irritants from the toddler's environment. Common irritants include pollen and pet dander. Change your furnace or air conditioner air filter frequently. Most air filter manufacturers recommend you use a new filter every 30 to 60 days, but you may want to change the filter more frequently if you have pets or you or your family members suffer from allergies Thanks for watching 5 Ways To Clear A Baby Stuffy Nose At Night Quickly video and don't forget to like, comment and share. In this video we show you how to clean a baby's nose and how to clear a baby's stuffy and congested nose. Adults have the luxury of being able to blow their nose to clear mucus build up. However, babies do not have this luxury and they need assistance. These steps will help relieve a baby's stuffy nose. Congestion in babies is usually caused by a cold or just by allergies due to change of weather (increased pollen production during Spring time). When a baby's nose is congested, babies have a hard time breathing and feeding milk. Often times while feeding the mucus mixes with the milk and baby is unable to digest which causes baby to vomit or spit up. To clean a baby's nose we follow these steps: 1. Have baby breathe in warm steam in a shower. In the video mommy is standing with baby in the shower so baby's nasal passages open up 2. Instill a few drops of infant saline solution into each nostril. Saline causes the nasal passage to be irrigated, provides moisture, and breaks up mucus in the nose. 3. Last step is to suction out the mucus with a bulb syringe. To use this you must squeeze it then place into baby's nostril and release. This action provides a suctioning mechanism which cleans baby's nose. It is important to wash the syringe bulb after each use. We do not recommend cleaning baby's nose more than twice a day as the baby's nose can get irritated. We recommend cleaning before feeding and before bedtime. This is to prevent baby from spitting up and to have a good nights sleep. Disclaimer: No babies were harmed during the filming of this video. Greetings, greetings Eric Bakker from New Zealand naturopath. I have an interesting question here again, like I usually get from subscribers. This person's called "Bring Agaim" that's an interesting name, "Bring Agaim". "I hope that you can post a video on how to heal leaky gut when I'm allergic to many foods such as fish, chicken, beef and pork broth. Major types of spices include cinnamon and black pepper. The only protein I've found is tofu and soybeans that I'm not allergic to." Judging by this question here, I've got a feeling the person may be Asian. Am I correct? Pork broth. Not many people have pork broth. I think Chinese people or Vietnamese people have pork broth. Major types of spices including cinnamon and black pepper. So, how to heal leaky gut when allergic to all of these foods. Well, the first thing that you'll want to do is do some testing. Don't make assumptions. Get your tests done first. A stool test or a breath test. A sibo breath test to determine what is going on in your tummy. Why have you got this allergy. And is it an allergy or is it an intolerance. Do you have immune reactions against these foods, or do you gut related digestive reactions which are more related to poor enzyme control of the body. This could well be a problem, you may have an issue there with your stomach or your pancreas. It may not be an allergy at all. So I think you need to do a little bit more digging in there and a bit deeper. All these foods that you mention here too is I don't believe are allergies. I've never seen anybody with an allergy against fish, chicken, beef and pork all at the same time. I've never seen one. And I can tell you, I've done thousands of allergy tests. These include taking blood out of someone, centra fusing it, sending it to a lab, getting that blood serum checked with about a hundred foods. I've done this now for twenty years with many, many people. And I have yet to see someone with all of these meat allergies all at the same time. I have seen some beef allergies, I must admit. I've also seen some fish allergies. Fish allergies are quite rare on the food allergy profile. I might see one in a few thousand. They do come up every now and then. Chicken allergies I've never seen. I've never ever seen an actual allergy towards chicken meat. I've seen allergies on eggs, duck eggs and chicken eggs, but not the actual meat itself off the chicken. So that'll be a first. Beef, yes I have also seen it, but again, it's not common. It's quite rare. But we do occasionally see it. Same with pork. So yeah, I mean are these allergies? Maybe they're not allergies, maybe you haven't quite got it figured out yet, you know? So I would say get some testing done first to see. And the testing that you need depends really on where the symptoms are. If you feel the symptoms are really lower down, you know like the bowl or small bowl, you'll get a stool test done. If you feel the symptoms are higher up, you may want to get a breath test done to determine, you know whether you've got a small intestinal problem. If you can afford to, you get a breath test done and a stool test done both at the same time. Which gives you a great understanding of the whole GI track. So, but yeah I like tofu. I mean it's a great food. The only protein I have is tofu and soy beans that I'm not allergic to. A few people have actually left my channel because they say, "You promote soy, you promote tofu. These are toxic foods that kill people! They turn men into homosexuals, they turn babies into retarded beings." I hear all this kind of crap. I honestly don't know where people get it from. I've got no idea. So yeah, Bring Agaim. Your name, Bring Agaim. Do some testing. Go and see a doctor who can really get you that help and get you to the bottom of the problem. Because I don't think these are allergies. Thanks for your questions.
