How to Treat Stomach Ulcers, Acid Reflux and Gastritis Naturally

02:32
Today, you’re going to learn an excellent recipe for stomach issues, like heartburn, reflux, and gastric and ulcer pains. It’s key ingredient is sweet potato. Those that have used this recipe will guarantee you that it’s the best natural remedy for these kinds of problems. Gastritis is an irritation of the stomach lining. The most common symptoms associated with gastritis are pain and heartburn. If you don’t take care of yourself, your symptoms can worsen, and you can even experience bleeding in your digestive tract. But, if you suffer from this problem, don't worry, the cure for gastritis and other stomach ailments can be found in nature. The proof is in the recipe that you’ll learn now. Ingredients 1 medium sweet potato 600 ml of filtered water Instructions Peel and cut the sweet potato, placing the pieces in a bowl with a little water so they don't change colors. Put the pieces of sweet potato in the blender with 600 ml of water. Blend well. Strain the mixture (with a cloth or kitchen strainer). Using clean hands make sure that you strain the mixture completely—all of the liquid should be in the bowl. Allow it to sit for two hours. Now you’ve got the liquid and at the bottom of the bowl, the solid contents—that is the pulp of the sweet potato. Pour out the liquid so that you’ve got only the pulp that’s at the bottom of the bowl. If you’re doing this on a bright, sunny day, let the pulp dry in the sun. If not, put it in the pantry so it will dry. If you choose the second option, it will take a little longer to dry out. Whenever it’s completely dry, break it up, mixing it well and put it in a clean, dry glass jar to sit. How do you use it? It’s easy. After it’s completely dry, dissolve a teaspoon of sweet potato powder in 200 ml of water. Stir it well. Drink a cup of it before breakfast in the morning, before lunch, and one more after dinner. Damage from Helicobacter pylori

04:23
http://www.boweldiseases.net 26 1st 4 slides Hello, welcome to this video explaining the damage Helicobacter pylori can cause. As many symptoms as there can be, it is important to understand that helicobacter pylori bacteria causes ulcers and inflammation of the stomach lining. This bacterial infection can have a wide range of symptoms. The same is true for Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome, Candida Yeast Infections, and a host of other digestive problems. Many times, all of these are interconnected. 8 Ulcers cause a burning pain in the stomach or abdominal region. This is due to this bacteria degrading the mucous layer which protects the stomach lining allowing stomach acid to burn the stomach lining. 10 Pain is often made worse when the concentration of acid in the stomach is stronger. This occurs after eating. Nighttime pain is also common. 10 Helicobacter pylori often is associated with poor appetite, being hungry soon after eating, and weight loss. See how it gets confusing already? 7 Helicobacter pylori is also associated with heartburn, belching, farting, nausea, and vomiting. In addition it can lead to blood in the stool. These symptoms also describe many digestive problems that can not be quantitatively identified. Medical professionals often advise medications which mask the symptoms. Or we self medicate using the wide variety of choices we have at the pharmacies. 9 Depression and worry can set in after not being able to rid yourself of these symptoms. Stress and worry always makes conditions worse. We need confidence we can get better in order to heal. 9 There are many ways to decrease the pain and treat the symptoms with antacids, milk, or the many medications available. These do not in any way cure the ulcer. The condition usually gets worse. They may allow healing for a while making us think they are the answer. Getting rid of the bacterial infection is the only sure way. 15 Helicobacter pylori exploits the protective mucous layer of the stomach lining. It uses the stomach's own mucous layer as its protection. It then infects deep into the stomach lining causing acid to burn through to the muscles and possibly all the way through the lining. 12.5 2 slides When our immune system determines we are infected with Helicobacter pylori, it produces antibodies which attacks the infection. Our killer T-Cells which protect us also try to eliminate the infection. The bacterial population, plus all of the body's protective mechanisms cause a large number of cells to accumulate in the stomach lining. This cause inflammation in the stomach lining due to all the cells battling for survival or elimination. 5 Gastritis is inflammation of the stomach lining. 5 Colitis, is inflammation of the colon, usually the large intestine. 5 Crohn's is continual inflammation of any part of the digestive system. Ulcerative Colitis is inflammation of the large intestine and rectum. 9 Helicobacter pylori directly causes ulcers by degrading eh mucous layer of the stomach lining allowing acid to burn through the lining. 20 Helicobacter pylori can cause ulcers. This can lead to other problems. Our bodies get out of sync. We treat the problems with medications that do not cure the infection. Our bodies get more confused. We end up with bowel syndromes, gastritis, and lifestyle limitations. This bacteria is treatable which you can learn about in one of our other digestion Helicobacter Pylori Bacteria video. Thank you for watching this video. We made this video because this bacterial infection is serious and infects half the world's population. It is often misdiagnosed.

For how long can one continue pantoprazole for acidity? - Dr. Nagaraj B. Puttaswamy

02:56
Definitely pantoprazole is one of the drug of choice in management of heart burn or oesophagitis. But how long will you take that drug? It is advices to take the drug for a week, 10 days, 15 days or a month’s time. Taking pantoprazole beyond one month or two months will definitely have its own adverse effects. Any drug if it is taken for a long time it has its own disadvantages along with the advantages the drug can give. I can advice the patient not to drink and smoke when you have oesophagitis and parallely have a decent meal so that the heart burn is significantly reduced even without medications. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor. The gastric mucosa is designed in such a way that it will secrete hydrochloric acid. It is normally secreted in every other person. But in such patients we induce the proton pump to be inhibited so that the hydrochloric acid secreted should reduce in quantity so that the acidity in stomach comes down. Even if there is some amount of reflux the acids which is there will not burn the oesophagus. This is the concept of usage of pantoprazole. But if it is used for a longer time the proton pumps will gradually understand that this person may not require this much amount of hydrochloric acid and may be atrophic gastritis may set in. It should be taken under the supervision or advised as per the doctor or the surgeon.

What would happen to your gut if you drank a glass of celery juice everyday for a month? It’s not a question that everyone asks, but is one that Fern Olivia of MindBodyGreen.com answered. Inspired by Anthony Williams’ glowing praise of celery juice, Olivia decided to give the “powerhouse of a drink” a shot. By the end, Olivia found herself feeling better in more ways than one. http://www.naturalnews.com/2017-05-22-heres-what-happens-when-you-drink-celery-juice-for-one-month-to-heal-your-gut.html

The Right Acid Reflux Medication For You

01:01
http://www.free-health-care.info/wp/acid-reflux/acid-reflux-english/the-right-acid-reflux-medication-for-you/ The Right Acid Reflux Medication For You Acid reflux patients know how painful it is when acid backs up. There is a burning sensation at the base of the throat that no amount of water will relieve. Acid seems to defy gravity, seeping upward into the esophagus. Sufferers would do anything to make the pain stop, but there seemingly is nothing they can do. Acid reflux is caused by a loosening of the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), the muscle that separates the esophagus from the stomach. The stomach has a heavy, acid-proof lining, but the LES is lined with soft, sensitive tissue that is susceptible to damage from stomach acid. Fortunately, help is available in the form of acid reflux medication. Over The Counter Acid Reflux Medication Old-fashioned over the counter medications like Tums and Rolaids can provide temporary relief for the mild acid reflux symptoms that occur after eating spicy foods. If acid reflux is a rare occurrence for you, and you have only occasional episodes of acid backup, you may find that the relief these antacids offer is sufficient to alleviate your symptoms. Although these drugs are also touted as a safe source of calcium, they also contain aluminum and sodium, so they should not be taken with abandon. Newer, more effective over-the-counter medication includes drugs like Zantaz and Prilosec. H2 Blocking Acid Reflux Medication H2 blocking acid reflux medication works by reducing the amount of acid that the stomach produces. These medications provide relief for longer periods of time than the relief generated by antacids, which neutralize acid already produced by the stomach. Proton Pump Inhibitors The most serious kind of acid reflux medication is the proton pump inhibitor, or PPI, family of drugs. These acid reflux medications prevent the stomach from producing acid. They should only be taken for a limited period of time, no more than eight weeks, because the production of stomach acid is a natural function of the human body and kills bacteria in the stomach. Side Effects Of Acid Reflux Medication All these medications are not without side effects. Some of these drugs are relatively new, so their long-term effects over decades have not been researched or assessed. The side effects of which medical science is now aware may include headache, dizziness, diarrhea, and vomiting. Treating Acid Reflux Disease If acid reflux medication is not effective, some patients may resort to surgery to correct the closure of the LES. Before resorting to surgery, patients should try changes to their diet and habits. Avoiding certain foods, like chocolate, alcohol, caffeine, spicy foods and the like can help, as can wearing looser clothing and not eating three hours before bedtime.

Can You Die From Acid Reflux :The Risks of Untreated Heartburn and GERD

http://bit.ly/2ha9UPq Can You Die From Acid Reflux :The Risks of Untreated Heartburn and GERD Complications Acid Reflux http://bit.ly/2ha9UPq Adults with long-term exposure to acid from GERD may develop a condition called Barrett's Esophagus. This is a very serious condition and can be deadly if it causes cancer of the esophagus. That is one of the reasons why doctors take acid reflux seriously. However, in most cases acid reflux is a chronic health problem that is associated with pain rather than a fatal disorder. I still suggest that you talk to a doctor if you have frequent heartburn, and in particular if you are worried about the way it makes you feel. Medications and lifestyle changes that treat acid reflux can greatly help you live a comfortable life, even with the problem. It makes sense that any untreated medical condition has the potential to be a threat to life in some way, but we are lucky in this day and age we do not have to let medical conditions not be treated.http://bit.ly/2ha9UPq You did not give any information about your specific condition, but there is some information here that you might find interesting. I want to warn you that while online sites are wonderful resources for information regarding medical conditions and possible treatments, they should not be taken in place of your doctor's health advice and health care. If you think that you have a condition that can be considered a threat to life, then you should seek medical advice as soon as possible. If you want to share some information about your concerns, I can find information that may be directly related, but here is some general information in the meantime. I am not sure if you have been diagnosed with acid reflux or GERD, but here are some links to general information. You can read about GERD here in the overview and you can check its symptoms here in the symptom database. Once you have seen your doctor, if you prescribe drugs for GERD, you can read about them here in the drug database. You can also look for available and alternative treatments here in the treatment database.http://bit.ly/2ha9UPq As Jan mentioned, when you have an acid reflux attack, that acid enters your esophagus by burning the tissue. When this happens enough, it can cause a pre-cancerous condition known as Barrett's Esophagus. Barrett is treatable, but you need aggressive treatment for a long time under the watchful eye of your doctor. It is not treated or cured by just taking prescription drugs for GERD. You can read more about Barrett's esophagus here in the conditions database. Dr. Todd Eisner goes into great detail about the condition and some of the treatments recommended in this shared post where he answered the questions of the members who have Barrett. As can be seen in his publication, Barrett requires extensive monitoring by surveillance endoscopies. Esophagus is chronic GERD or acid reflux. When this happens often enough and causes stressful damage and injury to the esophagus, then it is Erosive Esophagitis. Here you can read about erosive esophagitis. I hope this helps a bit. Please stay in touch and let us know how you are doing!http://bit.ly/2ha9UPq Complications from heartburn and GERD After finishing a big meal, you feel it - burning sensation in the chest. But you can keep heartburn at bay with proper treatment, as a medicine or lifestyle change. To brush the symptoms, but this common condition and its more severe form, GERD, can lead to other health problems. This is because heartburn occurs when your stomach juices wash up again. Over time, damage to the gastric esophagus, teeth, and more. Learn about the complications caused by uncontrolled heartburn and GERD - and what you can do about them. 1. Damage to the esophagus When the acid flows back up, it enters the esophagus, a tube that connects your mouth to your stomach. This can set the stage for: Esophagitis: Stomach acid irritates the lining of the esophagus, causing it to swell. This inflammation called esophagitis, which can lead to painful swallowing. Esophageal ulcers, GERD is the top cause of ulcers or sores in the lining of the esophagus. Symptoms include painful swallowing, nausea and chest pain. Your doctor will prescribe medication to control your GERD and treat the injured. Esophageal stricture: Over time, the damage caused by stomach acid can scar the lining of esophagus. When this scar tissue builds up, it makes the esophagus narrow. Called strictures, these narrow spots makes it hard to swallow food and drink, which can lead to weight loss and dehydration. Strictures treated with a procedure that gently stretches the esophagus. Barrett's esophagus: About 5% to 10% of people with GERD developing this condition in which gastric acid causes precancerous changes in the cells.http://bit.ly/2ha9UPq Source:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-poFp1EsHc&feature=youtu.be

http://x.vu/heartburnstop how to stop heartburn fast What Is Acid Reflux? Acid reflux disease, also known as gastro-esophageal reflux disease, or GERD, occurs due to the coexistence of two medical conditions. The first acid reflux disease contributing condition is a retrograde flow of stomach contents into the esophagus. However, the reflux itself does not necessarily lead to gastro-esophageal reflux disease symptoms or histologic changes, and can occur among healthy individuals as well. In this case, the process is referred to as "physiologic gastroesophageal reflux". The second acid reflux disease predisposing condition is a lower esophageal sphincter (LES) malfunction. The LES is a 3-cm to 4-cm ring of muscle, which is two to three times thicker than the proximal esophagus and acts as a valve between the esophagus and the stomach. In the case of acid reflux disease, the LES does not close perfectly and stomach contents splashes up into the esophagus. When pathologic symptoms follow this process, the whole condition is called acid reflux disease. Gastro-esophageal reflux disease is usually experienced as a persistent (at least twice a week) heartburn. Heartburn is the burning sensation in the chest or throat, caused by refluxed stomach contents touching the lining of the esophagus. Since healthy individuals may also experience light reflux - occasional heartburn is common as well, and doesn't necessarily serve as an evidence of GERD. Some GERD sufferers may also experience pain in the chest, cough, morning hoarseness, voice changes, difficulty swallowing (especially lumpy foods), chronic earache, burning chest pains, nausea or sinusitis. Some patients report a sensation that reminds food stuck, choking or tightness in the throat. This happens due to continuous stomach contents acid flow that comes into contact with the esophagus and causes inflammation of the esophagus resulting in scars from tissue damage. Untreated acid reflux disease can lead to serious health complications. Those include stricture formation, bleeding, ulcers and esophageal spasms. When the stomach acid reaches the upper esophagus and trachea, the process can result in a variety of severe conditions, such as asthma, sinusitis and pneumonia. Finally, some people may develop Barrett's esophagus, a condition that manifest in an abnormal shape and color of cells in the esophageal lining. This condition is a precursor to esophageal cancer, especially in adults over 60 years old. The treatment of gastro-esophageal reflux disease takes three forms: surgery, medical therapy and holistic therapy, including dietary and lifestyle changes and the intake of specific herbal supplements. An undergoing surgery should be considered very carefully, since it can compound some underlying conditions, such as stricture and motility disorders. Medical treatment of GERD includes PPIs and H2 blockers. While acid reflux can be treated by taking prescription medications or acid blockers such as the above, bear in mind that the results may be temporary and that some conventional medications can cause serious side effects. From a holistic point of view, acid reflux disease is considered a warning sign of a major internal imbalance that needs to be properly addressed. Therefore, alternative remedies, such as homeopathic remedies, herbal remedies, lifestyle changes as part of a complete holistic regimen are strongly recommended for acid reflux sufferers. This article is based on the book, "Heartburn No More" by Jeff Martin. Jeff is an author, researcher, nutritionist and health consultant who dedicated his life to creating the ultimate acid reflux solution guaranteed to permanently reverse the root cause of heartburn and acid reflux and naturally and dramatically improve the overall quality of your life, without the use prescription medication and without any surgical procedures. Click the link to see "a Unique 5 Step Natural Remedy For Heartburn": http://bit.do/AcidRefluxRemedy Acid reflux is a condition in which the acid in the stomach flows upwards and causes heartburn. It is very common nowadays due to eating disorders and extreme changes in eating habits. While there are a number of over the counter antacids you can easily get, many natural home remedies have been proven equally effective with minimal or no side effects. Vegetables, fruits, spices and herbs have been traditionally used to treat health conditions. They were the earliest form of medication. While most people rely on modern medication for most of their illnesses, many are now trying natural home remedies, as they have been proven more beneficial. Over the counter medicines can cause very bad side effects when used for a long time; this can be avoided using natural home remedies. Causes: Pregnancy Over-eating Excessive intake of fat foods Obesity Alcoholic drinks Caffeine Smoking Hernia Stress Symptoms Bloating Burning sensation in the chest Nausea Burping Vomiting or bloody stools Hiccups Loss of weight Dysphagia or narrow oesophagus Sore throat or dry cough Following are five remedies that you can try at home: 1.Chewing Gum: Chewing gums accelerate the flow of saliva, which in turn washes out all the extra acid that accumulates in the stomach and offers great relief. 2.Aloe Vera: The Aloe Vera juice is excellent for soothing upset stomach, drinking it can help in getting rid of unwanted stomach acids. It also reduces inflammation in the oesophagus. Drinking half a cup of Aloe Vera juice before meals is recommended. 3.Baking Soda: Adding half a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and drinking it offers instant relief. This must not be done regularly, as baking soda is high on salt. 4.Carrot Juice: Drinking a cup of carrot juice also offers quick relief. You can also drink cabbage juice as an alternate. 5.Ginger: The mixture of lemon juice and ginger juice is excellent to control acids in the stomach. To get ginger juice, you can crush the ginger and squeeze it. You can also add a small piece of jaggery with the crushed ginger. Singers, learn to manage your reflux with these singing tips. Symptoms include reduced range, raspy sound, discomfort when singing, a continuous lump in the throat as well as reduced vocal stamina. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, then it may well be that you are suffering from reflux. It’s the absence of the two symptoms, heartburn and indigestion, that lead us to refer to the type of reflux we’ll be discussing today as ‘silent reflux’ or ‘singer’s reflux’ because it's often singers who notice the effect of silent reflux first. Special Thanks to Dr Matthew Broadhurst from the Queensland Voice Centre for allowing me to use the footage showing Laryngopharyngeal Reflux in this video – http://www.entdoctor.com.au/ –––––––––––––––––––––––– Welcome to Voice Essentials where everybody sings. http://x.vu/heartburnstop how to stop heartburn fast What Is Acid Reflux? Episolve GI, a Naturally Enhanced Antacid.

02:16
EpisolveGI is, a dietary supplement, is longer lasting naturally enhanced antacid . It is based on olive oil and calcium carbonate. It is tasteless, longer acting and sooth / alleviate stomach pain after food intake. Olive oil has been shown to have positive effect on the cardiovascular system while calcium carbonate provides bones with calcium. EpisolveGI is a dietary supplement for acid reflux and heartburn (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease). It should be taken daily. Take this supplement when symptoms are known to be at their worst. Take 2-4 capsules after dinner or prior to sleep to alleviate overnight acid reflux symptoms and morning acid mouth sensation. Take 2-4 capsules during the day after a large breakfast or a high protein lunch. The usual dose is 2-4 capsules per meal. Additional doses can be taken as needed. Daily Intake, however, should not exceed 12 capsules per day. You can buy it at EpisolveGI.com or Amazon Store ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are There Natural Cures for Acid Reflux Disease? In short, there are no natural cures for acid reflux disease. Acid Reflux disease is not caused by excess acid secretion. The core of this medical condition is mechanical. The LES or the lower esophageal sphincter is damaged and is unable to close fully in order to prevent the stomach acid from reaching the esophagus. Once the acid reaches the esophagus, it causes pain which is commonly known as heartburn. There are no good medications or natural remedies that can boost the contraction of the LES muscles in order to create a barrier between the stomach acid and the esophagus. Some surgeries have been suggested such as the Nissen fundoplication or more recently the Laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery (commonly referred to as Laparoscopic Nissen Fundoplication). It involves reinforcing the “valve” between the esophagus and the stomach by wrapping the upper portion of the stomach around the lowest portion of the esophagus – much the same way a bun wraps around a hot dog. There are, however, natural remedies and home nutraceutical combinations that are known to decrease or control the symptoms of acid reflux. Anti-acids production or PPI (proton pump inhibitors) medications such as Omeperazole and Nexium are long term agents. They decrease acid formation and production. Short acting antacids neutralize already formed acid. A new dietary supplement called Episolve GI is the new kid on the block. It is a naturally enhanced anatacid made of an optimal combination of olive oil and antacid. As the name implies, it is a supplement to health products and traditional medicine. It is not meant to replace traditional treatment and medications such as proton pump inhibitors. However, it is commonly known that 40% of patients do not achieve complete relief with proton pump inhibitors and are looking for other options. Episolve GI acts as a medium acting antacid. It reduces the acid load on the esophageal gastric junction and protects the mucosa by creating a barrier between the esophageal mucosa and the stomach acid. The calcium carbonate neutralizes the acid while the olive oil floats to the top of the stomach (the GE junction). The olive oil is hydrophobic (afraid of water) and sticks to the lining of the esophagus (mucosa) preferentially more than water. The relief is fast and sustained.
