Why is it so important to keep cholesterol at the normal levels and how to maintain it within the health limits? Cholesterol is a vital, fat-like substance that is contained in each cell of our body, as well as in our blood. Most of the cholesterol is produced by the liver, and the rest is procured through food. Please subscribe, click the bell and watch this video until the end to know the complete information. Cholesterol has extremely important reasons for our body and functions: it participates in the construction of cell membranes and in the formation of sexes and adrenal hormones; without cholesterol, the body can not synthesize vitamin D, which is indispensable to healthy bones, nor produces bile acid, without which fat in the body cannot be processed properly. When an excess of cholesterol accumulates in the body, it can not be broken down and this increases the risks to our health. The main danger is the onset of atherosclerosis, which in turn is the cause of most cardiovascular diseases such as a heart attack for example. The causes of increased levels of cholesterol in the blood are different: hereditary predisposition, chronic liver disease thyroid gland and diabetes. A sure way to maintain a normal cholesterol level is regular testing. Specialists recommend except for total, to monitor still poor (LDL) and good (HDL) cholesterol, as well as triglycerides. It is known that 20 years is the age in which the first examination for determining the values of cholesterol should be done. Revealed in time, increased cholesterol can be overcome and can not lead to serious health problems later. Here are 6 signs that you may have high cholesterol. 1. yellow growths on your eyelids. Did you know that yellowish eyelid can be a sign of high cholesterol? Take a good look at the eyelids, if you notice yellow spots, make a doctor’s appointment, check your cholesterol levels and your heart’s health. Also, do you notice painless yellow growths of the upper and lower eyelids? This phenomenon is called “xanthelasma” and it is a clear indication that you have high blood cholesterol levels. 2. gray-colored ring around your cornea. Often this is a sign of aging, so it should not be a cause for worry. But if you are far from retired, the gray circle around the iris may indicate high cholesterol and blood fat, which very often means a risk of heart attack or stroke. This gray colored ring or lacquer is actually composed of cholesterol that collects in the deeper parts of your cornea. 3. tingling sensation in the hands and feet. The tingling sensation of the hands and feet may indicate a problem in your body. This should be taken seriously because these symptoms can be caused by serious health problems. If the blood vessels are blocked by cholesterol, it is likely that you will feel tingling in your hands and feet, because your peripheral nerves are not getting do enough blood oxygen and nutrients for their proper functioning. 4. pain in the neck and back of the head. Because cholesterol levels that are too high can cause some of your blood vessels to block, it’s very possible that your circulation is obstructed. Such can leave your neck sensitive and deteriorate from time to time. The shoulder can also be felt in the same way. Medical practitioners say that high blood cholesterol levels can also make you have a headache, especially in the back of your head. 5. rapid or pounding beating of the heart. When a person says that she has heart palpitations, she thinks of the inner feeling that her heart beats something different from the usual one. Or, it simply has the awareness of the heartbeat. Most of the time, heart palpitations are harmless and they are often experienced after exercise or engaging in the intense physical activity. Sometimes they are due to anxiety, stress, and the intake of certain drugs. Palpitations may also indicate problems with the cardiovascular system, but and high cholesterol levels are one of them. Clogging the blood vessels due to cholesterol can lead to an accelerated operation of your heart. 6. unhealthy diet and lifestyle. If you eat plenty of fatty foods and avoid fruits and vegetables that contain a lot of fiber if you are a smoker and if you drink alcohol in excessive amounts, if you are overweight and do not exercise regularly, then there is a great chance that your cholesterol level is already high. But sometimes high cholesterol depends on our genes. About 1 in 500 people have a specific genetic mutation that leads to the accumulation of cholesterol in their blood. These people suffer from high cholesterol regardless of their lifestyle. if you suspect that you may have high cholesterol then please start eating a healthy diet and get levels checked out at the hospital. How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure by 23% In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets: 👉http://drsam.co/yt/LongTermLowBP Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/WorstFoodForBP ======================================= ☝️ 3 Pressure Points That’ll Instantly Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally ======================================= Lowering high blood pressure is a very important topic not only for avoiding a heart attack or stroke, but simply for a longer life. And personally speaking, this is very important for me because I have a family history of high blood pressure, which has typically lead to strokes on my dad’s side of the family and heart attacks on my mom’s. The good news is that there are lots of simple ways to lower high blood pressure, naturally. And today I’m going reveal 3 simple pressure points on your body, that will instantly lower your blood pressure. Something important that I want to bring to your attention about today’s topic is that these solutions are for instant results, NOT long-term solutions … which I’ll get to at the end of today’s video. So if you’re feeling stressed or your blood pressure is rising, you can almost instantly and quickly use today’s 3 pressure points to lower your blood pressure and help avoid anything bad from happening. If nothing else, you’ll get instant relief and relaxation. Acupressure Point LI4 LI 4, which stands for “Large Intestine 4”, is an extremely useful acupressure point that is extensively used to treat chronic pain, acute stress and various types of diseases along with treatment for high blood pressure. This point is situated in the webbing between the forefinger and the thumb… right in the middle as you see here. It calms and balances blood flow throughout the body and clears stagnation. As an added benefit, it also boosts your immunity. The most effective way to apply pressure to LI 4 is to slide your thumb along the webbing until you reach the junction of the thumb and index finger bones. How to apply acupressure? Begin by moving your thumb in a small circular rubbing motion over LI 4 for a few seconds. Then you can apply gentle to moderate thumb pressure depending on how sensitive the area feels. If there is any pain, it should be a “good hurt,” not severe or uncomfortable. You can hold the point as long as you are comfortable, up to several minutes. I typically suggest about 20-30 seconds, then take a few second break and then repeat as often as you’d like. PC 6 PC 6 or Pericardium 6 is yet another important acupressure point for treating high blood pressure. It soothes and helps the heart and circulatory system in their proper functioning. This point is also known as the Inner Gate, and it is located on the inner forearm, approximately three finger-widths away from the wrist crease as you see here. This point can be stimulated by applying firm pressure to the point using your index finger or thumb. Again, apply pressure for about 20-30 seconds, then take a break and repeat as needed. G20 The G20 is below the base of your skull, in the hollows on both sides of the neck, between the two vertical neck muscles. Putting pressure here lowers your blood pressure, reduces headaches and stress by relaxing your nervous system. Use your thumbs, fingers, or knuckles to gradually apply pressure into the hollows of your skull. Close your eyes as you tilt your head back slowly. Take long, slow deep breaths as you hold for two to three minutes. Direct the pressure slowly and firmly into the center of your head. Other Acupressure Points Now, there are lots of other acupressure points -- on your feet, arms, legs, and so forth. I picked these 3 areas for lowering your blood pressure because you can do them any where, any place -- they’re easy to access. It’s just your hand, forearm/wrist and the back of your head. Easy access, you can do it yourself and you’ll get fast relief. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Please feel free to comment, like or share with your friends. The result, published in the Journal of Human Hypertension, found those patients who got the real thing saw their blood pressure drop dramatically, an average of 17 points. That's equivalent to giving patients two different blood pressure medications at once, said Dr. George Bakris, M.D. If you or someone you love is suffering from chronic pain and live in the Southern California area come on in and let us help you. Boris Prilutsky has been teaching and practicing medical and sports massage for over 40 years. In 1995, he founded of the Southern California Health Institute (SOCHi), www.sochi.edu, then known as IPPT Career School. For a detailed description of DVD#2 where Boris demonstrates the full protocol for sciatica and much more please follow the link below http://medicalmassage-edu.com Hypertension, Dizziness, Headaches, & Worsening of Vision (secondary to Vertebral Artery Syndrome) Greater Occipital Neuralgia, Neck Rehabilitative Exercises. First, let's quickly review how medical massage therapy affects the arterial blood pressure in patients with EH. There are three major mechanisms which massage practitioners should use to help patients with hypertension: Balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions of the autonomic nervous system, vasodilate the vertebral arteries and reduce peripheral vascular resistance. These three mechanisms are intimately correlated, hence the need to discuss them together as parts of the same process. Vertebral arteries arise from the subclavian arteries. They ascend through the cervical vertebrae and enter the skull where they unite to form the basilar artery, supplying the posterior part of the brain. The vertebral arteries also give off two important arterial branches that supply the entire spinal cord: The anterior spinal artery and two posterior spinal arteries. The pathway of the vertebral arteries through the cervical vertebrae is quite complex. The transverse process of each cervical vertebra has a special opening called the transverse foramen through which the vertebral artery passes. Cervical vertebrae are positioned on top of one another such that these openings form a bony canal through which the vertebral arteries ascend. The walls of vertebral arteries have their own sympathetic plexus innervation, regulating their constriction and dilation. It follows that any irritation to this plexus may result in their contraction. Even a minor facet joint subluxation, which may not even be visible by radiographic means, can produce an irritation slightly compressing the vertebral arteries. This constriction may lead to a reduced blood supply to the brain, which in turn will cause further vasoconstriction in an attempt to compensate for compromised circulation. The result is an inevitable increase in blood pressure or EH. Other mechanisms that may cause a decrease in blood flow through the vertebral arteries are cervical spondylosis, emotional stress and physical overload of the neck and upper back muscles. As a result of these, a hypertonus develops in the cervical muscles. In order to maintain proper function, the brain's daily perfusion has to be approximately 2,000 quarts of arterial blood. This rate is regulated by special vascular receptors in the arterial structures of the brain. Even a minor reduction in the amount of blood circulation triggers compensatory reactions such as an increased heart rate, increased cardiac output and, most importantly, an increased peripheral vascular resistance. Peripheral vascular resistance is a major opposing force to the heart's work. Every time the left ventricle ejects blood, the force of the cardiac contraction has to overcome the resistance of arterial vessels (especially on the level of middle-sized arteries in skeletal muscles). Thus, an increased sympathetic tone triggers arteriolar vasoconstriction, which increases peripheral vascular resistance, resulting in the heart having to work harder to pump blood. Proposed techniques also can be very beneficial, and contributing to comfort and well-being for patients, who is suffering from mesothelioma, and other types of cancer, especially at time of remission and recoveries. Many studies and clinical observation suggest that at the time of chemotherapy, utilization of massage boosts energy and helps to keep it at a higher level, increases appetite, fights off depression, anxiety. Not less importantly massage techniques also improve much-needed immune system functions.

Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is defined as high pressure in the arteries, that are the vessels which carry blood from the heart to the body. It’s easy to tell whether an adult has high blood pressure because there’s a standard set of measurements: Normal blood pressure—systolic under 120 mmHg and diastolic under 80 mm Hg; Pre-hypertension—systolic 120-139 mmHg or diastolic 80-89 mmHg; Stage 1 hypertension—systolic 140-159 mmHg or diastolic 90-99 mmHg; Stage 2 hypertension—systolic ≥160 or diastolic ≥100 mmHg. Approximately 86 million adults (about 1 out of every 3) in the United States have hypertension. Many factors can affect blood pressure, including - smoking, leading a sedentary lifestyle, a diet with a high salt intake, being overweight or obese, long-term sleep deprivation, a diet focused on meat, dairy products, and eggs, high LDL cholesterol, alcohol abuse or chronic alcohol use, or a family history of high blood pressure. If high blood pressure remains untreated, it can cause kidney failure, heart disease, and increases the risk of stroke. High blood pressure commonly has no symptoms and is often labeled "the silent killer." However, a few people with high blood pressure may experience: #1 Vision problems - hypertension can damage the vessels supplying blood to your retina, causing retinopathy. This serious condition can lead to blurred vision, bleeding in the eye, and complete loss of vision. #2 Nausea - a sensation of unease and discomfort in the stomach with an urge to vomit. #3 Headaches - some individuals with hypertension may experience headaches, but they usually don't occur unless the pressure is notably raised. #4 Erectile Dysfunction - the inability to have and maintain an erection becomes increasingly common in men as they reach age 50. But high blood pressure damages the lining of blood vessels and causes atherosclerosis, limiting blood flow to the penis. #5 Kidney Damage - a high blood pressure can cause damage to the filters and blood vessels in the kidney, making removal of waste from the body difficult. #6 Fatigue - feeling tired all the time and experiencing difficulty with everyday activities, such as climbing stairs, shopping, walking, or carrying groceries. #7 Mental function can also change as a result of hypertension with many experiencing difficulties finding words, memory loss, and an inability to focus. #8 Heart palpitations - to "make up for" the loss in pumping capacity, the heart beats faster. #9 Chest pain which may radiate to the back, arms, neck or jaw. #10 Ringing in the ear - considering the immense amounts of blood flowing in and out of the head and this area, it is no surprise that hypertension can affect one’s hearing. Note - According to various studies, foods or beverages that may help reduce hypertension include - whole grains, legumes, flax seeds, beets, dark green leafy vegetables, sweet potatoes, potatoes, hibiscus tea, and foods high in potassium (such as pistachios, bananas, raisins, almonds, dates). Point number one This is not even a point, but a line. It passes behind the earlobe to the middle of the clavicle. This line should not be pressed, not massaged, but very slowly pampered almost imperceptibly with a hand movement from top to bottom, barely touching the tips of his fingers. Repeat this procedure 10 times on one side, and another round on the other side. Point number two This point is on the face part at the earlobe level, at a distance of half a centimetre from the ear in the direction towards the nose. This point should be massaged with the fingertips for about 1 minute on each side of the face, respectively. You may push hard, but without causing any pain. It is important that you feel a bit of pressure on that point.

It is a fact that only 8% of these people are diagnosed with a real direct cause of high blood pressure such as kidney insufficiency, a tumor on the adrenal gland, or narrowing of the aorta, all of which can be detected by various lab and radiological means. In the other 92% of cases, patients are diagnosed with essential hypertension, which is the same dangerous high blood pressure condition, but with no determined cause. On DVD #2, I explain and perform the step by step treatment protocol for patients with essential hypertension as it was proposed in 1973 by Professor Alexander Dembo, MD, PhD, of former Leningrad School of Medicine. Additionally on DVD #2, I thoroughly explain and demonstrate full-body medical stress management massage, including a clear and correct demonstration and explanation of deep tissue mobilization. Furthermore, you will find clarification of the difference between stress management massage versus relaxation massage. Also presented on this DVD is a neck exercise program to prevent re-accumulation of tension in cervical muscles, as well as myofascial tissue release and trigger point therapy techniques. In 1973 I have participated in professor Dembo's group as one of the researchers. Also recently here in the US together with Victor Gura MD, professor of medicine from UCLA medical school, I completed very successfully a pilot study in which Dr.Gura repeated professor Dembo's protocols. As you can see you will learn from the original source, the fact that promises results. Also on the same DVD you will find a detailed demonstration and explanation of how to perform full body medical and stress massage that is introduced in this book. 9 Remedies for a PINCHED NERVE: A pinched nerve refers to a certain kind of damage to a nerve or group of nerves. It’s caused when a disc, bone, or muscle places increased pressure on the nerve. It can lead to feelings of: numbness tingling burning pins and needles A pinched nerve can cause carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica symptoms (a pinched nerve can’t cause a herniated disc, but a herniated disc can pinch a nerve root), and other conditions. Think of it like an expressway. Your spine is like the main on-ramp for the nerve. As the nerve leaves your neck, it has on- and off-ramps throughout your body. A pinched nerve is like a blocked entrance ramp. The compression on the nerve leads to inflammation and irritation, sending tingling, numbness, or a pain sensation down your limb. – Erin Hassett, PT, DPT, OCS, orthopedic physical therapist in Chicago Some pinched nerves will require professional care to treat. If you’re looking for a way to alleviate mild pain at home, here are nine options you can try. Some of them can be done at the same time. What’s important is to find what works best for you. 9 Treatments 1. Adjust your posture You may need to change how you’re sitting or standing to relieve pain from a pinched nerve. Find any position that helps you feel better, and spend as much time in that position as you can. Pinched nerve in your neck For a pinched nerve in your neck, check to be sure that your chin is in a neutral position, not jutting too far forward or pulled too far back. Also make sure your shoulders are in the right position, gently squeezing your shoulder blades together to ensure upright posture. Strengthening scapular muscles like the rhomboids, middle trapezius, and lower trapezius can help better support your neck once symptoms have resolved. The most comfortable position for a pinched nerve in the neck varies, but often lying down helps to alleviate the compression on the nerve. – Erin Hassett 2. Use a standing workstation Standing workstations are gaining popularity, and for good reason. Mobility and standing throughout your day are crucial to preventing and treating a pinched nerve. If you have a pinched nerve or want to avoid one, talk with your human resources department about modifying your desk so that you can stand while working. If you can’t get a standing workstation, be sure to get up and take a walk each hour. Roller balls for tight muscles and an hourly stretching program are a good idea if you use a keyboard frequently. (Wrist braces or supports aren’t recommended as an early treatment strategy.) 3. Rest No matter where you have a pinched nerve, the best thing is usually to rest as long as possible. Avoid the activity that is causing you pain, such as tennis, golf, or texting. Rest until the symptoms have completely resolved. When you do start moving that part of your body again, pay attention to how it feels. Stop the activity if your pain returns. 4. Splint If you have carpal tunnel, which is a pinched nerve in the wrist, a splint can help you rest and protect your wrist. This can be especially helpful overnight so that you don’t curl your wrist in a bad position while you’re sleeping. 5. Stretch Gentle stretches can help relieve the pressure on your nerve and improve your symptoms. Don’t go too deeply into a stretch. If you begin to feel pain or discomfort, ease up on the stretch. Remember that small movements can have a big impact. Anything that makes you feel better you should do, as long as it isn’t increasing your numbness or pain. Try to spend time in the positions that help alleviate the symptoms. Relieving the pressure on the nerve will help decrease irritation and pain. – Erin Hassett 6. Apply heat You can use heat to relax the muscles that might be tight around a pinched nerve. Heat also increases blood flow, which can help the healing process. You can find heating pads in various sizes at a drugstore. Hold heat directly onto the pinched nerve for 10–15 minutes at a time. 7. Use ice Ice reduces swelling and inflammation. Wrap a towel around an ice pack and hold it directly onto the pinched nerve for 10–15 minutes. 8. Elevate your legs For a pinched nerve in your lower back, try elevating your legs with a 90-degree bend in both your hips and knees. You can place a wedge or ottoman on your bed and rest your legs on top while lying on your back. This position helps relieve compression on the disc and nerve in your back. You can also lie on the floor, resting your legs on top of the couch to achieve the same effect. – Erin Hassett 9. Take an over-the-counter pain reliever If you want to try a pain reliever, you can take over-the-counter nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, like ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB) or aspirin (Bufferin). Follow the instructions on the bottle, and be sure to check with your doctor before taking any new medications.

Magnesium is one of the most important minerals that you are probably not getting enough of in your everyday diet. Besides being a major co-factor in some 325 enzyme systems throughout the body, magnesium is also essential for achieving and maintaining muscle relaxation, strong bones, restful sleep, a healthy heart and optimal brain function, just a few of the many reasons why a growing number of health experts now refer to it as the "miracle" mineral. The best forms of magnesium Magnesium citrate -- Magnesium citrate is the most popular magnesium supplement, probably because it is inexpensive and easily absorbed. Since citric acid is a mild laxative, magnesium citrate functions as a constipation aid as well as a magnesium source. It is a great choice for individuals with rectal or colon problems but is unsuitable for those with loose bowel movements. Magnesium taurate -- Magnesium taurate is the best choice of magnesium supplement for people with cardiovascular issues, since it is known to prevent arrhythmias and guard the heart from damage caused by heart attacks. Magnesium taurate is easily absorbed (magnesium and taurine stabilize cell membranes together), and it contains no laxative properties. Magnesium malate -- Magnesium malate is a fantastic choice for people suffering from fatigue, since malic acid -- a natural fruit acid present in most cells in the body -- is a vital component of enzymes that play a key role in ATP synthesis and energy production. Since the ionic bonds of magnesium and malic acid are easily broken, magnesium malate is also highly soluble. Magnesium glycinate -- Magnesium glycinate (magnesium bound with glycine, a non-essential amino acid) is one of the most bioavailable and absorbable forms of magnesium, and also the least likely to induce diarrhea. It is the safest option for correcting a long-term deficiency. Magnesium chloride -- Though magnesium chloride only contains around 12 percent elemental magnesium, it has an impressive absorption rate and is the best form of magnesium to take for detoxing the cells and tissues. Moreover, chloride (not to be confused with chlorine, the toxic gas) aids kidney function and can boost a sluggish metabolism. Magnesium carbonate -- Magnesium carbonate is another popular, bioavailable form of magnesium that actually turns into magnesium chloride when it mixes with the hydrochloric acid in our stomachs. It is a good choice for people suffering from indigestion and acid reflux, since it contains antacid properties. The worst forms of magnesium Magnesium oxide -- Magnesium oxide is the most common form of magnesium sold in pharmacies, but it is non-chelated and possesses a poor absorption rate compared to those listed above. Magnesium sulfate -- Magnesium sulfate, also called Epsom salt, is a fantastic constipation aid but an unsafe source of dietary magnesium, since overdosing on it is easy. Magnesium glutamate and aspartate -- Avoid these two forms of magnesium completely. Glutamic acid and aspartic acid are components of the dangerous artificial sweetener aspartame, and both of them become neurotoxic when unbound to other amino acids.

http://www.drdrewhall.com One of Dr. Hall's patients describes the results of upper cervical correction on his partial paralysis from a herniated disc, high blood pressure, and back pain and stiffness. Upper Cervical Chiropractic (UCC) is a branch of chiropractic focused on the bones of the upper neck. The upper cervical vertebrae are easily knocked out of place by auto accidents and whiplash; sports blows and injuries; horse riding accidents; and countless other human traumas, resulting in pressure on the brain stem and spinal cord. The resulting nervous dysfunction can lead to countless problems in all areas of the body and affect moods and mental clarity. A gentle correction in the alignment of the upper cervical vertebrae allows the nervous system to function as it is meant to, removing impedance to the nerves and leading to better mental and physical health. Conditions that have responded to upper cervical care include migraines and headaches; neck pain; upper back pain; lower back pain; sciatica; neuropathy (numbness in the limbs); insomnia; high blood pressure; depression and anxiety; TMJ; vertigo (dizziness); tremors; chronic fatigue and more. Dr Drew Hall is a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) with a specialty in Blair Upper Cervical alignment and health. He has served hundreds of satisfied patients in the Los Angeles area for more than 10 years. He has two offices: Upper Cervical Health Center of Carson, CA; and UNI Upper Cervical located in Koreatown in midtown Los Angeles. Carson: (310) 324-6172 Koreatown: (213) 399-7772

The practice of Aakash mudra, Vaayan mudra, Apaan-Vayu mudra and Pran mudra are useful to control high blood pressure, how to do it, duration and precautions. To know more visit http://www.completenaturecure.com/four-simple-mudras-controls-high-blood-pressure/ Four simple mudras for high blood pressure High blood pressure or hypertension is one of the most dangerous health disorder. This disease is a result of our modern lifestyle. The fast pace of life and the urban environments give rise to psychological tensions. Mental worries and stress increase the adrenaline in the bloodstream, and this results in a pressure of the blood to rise. You can go ahead and check my other post on remedies for high blood pressure High blood pressure or Hypertension Hypertension (known in Ayurveda as Rakta Gata Vata) is arterial hypertension in the arteries. The increase in blood pressure depends on age, gender, physical and mental activity, family history and diet. The normal blood pressure of a healthy adult is 120 mmHg systolic and 80 mmHg diastolic. Causes of high blood pressure Unhealthy diet and lack of exercise are the leading causes of hypertension today. Most foods we eat, fast food or items packed with preservatives and chemicals cause digestive problems in the body. Damaged digestion leads to the accumulation of ama (toxins), leading to hypertension. The food we eat is digested by our digestive fire (Jatharagni) to produce nutritious plasma. This plasma nourishes all other dhatus (body tissues) and helps produce healthy blood that circulates through multiple channels (srotas) in the body. However, as digestion worsens, the nutritive plasma stops producing digestive impurities or cravings. This mistress mingles with the plasma and turns it into sama (combined with ama) or massive. As a result, the blood thus produced becomes so heavy or sticky. This heavy blood (laden with impurities) flows through multiple channels and toxins begin to accumulate in the weakest channels of the body. When they gather in the heart tubes, these toxins cause the narrowing of the channels. Therefore, the blood must exert more pressure to flow through these channels, resulting in the condition of hypertension. Stress, anxiety and negative mental feelings also cause a rise in blood pressure. Other causes include the history of blood pressure in the family, obesity, physical inactivity, eating a high-fat and low-fiber diet, over-consumption of tea, coffee, and refined foods, etc. SYMPTOMS Neck pain (occipital headache) palpitations Dizziness or dizziness fatigue Ayurveda approach towards High blood pressure The Ayurvedic treatment line for hypertension aims to identify the cause of the disease and then administer herbs that can eradicate the root problem. To achieve this, digestion must be improved, and the digestive fire strengthened. Second, the toxins that have already accumulated in the channels of the heart must be eliminated. Finally, mental relaxation techniques, including meditation, yoga, and pranayama, are recommended to ensure that the mind remains calm and stable. Diet and lifestyle tips Avoid meat, eggs, table salt, cucumbers, tea, and coffee. Avoid smoking because it increases your heart rate. Increase the use of garlic, lemon, parsley, Indian gooseberry (Amla), watermelon, grapefruit, skim milk and cottage cheese. Regular exercise is the best ways to lower blood pressure; Fast walking, jogging, swimming, and athletics are good options. Laughter is the best solution because it relieves the stress and anxiety that is the primary cause of high blood pressure in today’s lifestyle.

Of course, lifestyle improvements is the most important: Diet - what you eat/drink and don’t eat/drink Exercise - both cardiovascular and lifting weights Stress Management Nutritional Supplements In fact, at the end of today’s video I’ll tell you exactly how my dad lowered his blood pressure, naturally. However, when it comes to lowering blood pressure, you can also do so with 5 simple and proven pressure points on your body. This is really important because obviously you don’t need drugs. But also because the benefits are felt instantly and it’s super easy and convenient. You can activate these pressure points anytime, anywhere. Just remember that in the US, 33% of the population has “high” blood pressure. Over 50% has “pre” high blood pressure. Sadly, about 75% of people don’t even know they have high blood pressure and thus, are at risk for a heart attack, stroke or kidney problems. And this is why hypertension is called “the silent killer”... people just don’t know they have it and there are no clear symptoms either. 5 Pressure Points So, let’s get start with: Pressure point #1 - LI 4 (Large Intestine 4) LI 4 (Large Intestine 4) is really easy to get to. It’s in that “meaty” part your upper hand, between your thumb and forefinger. Just use your other hand’s thumb to apply pressure for 1-2 minutes or treat it with a pulsating movement. In addition to lowering blood pressure, it also helps treat chronic pain and boosts your immune system. Pressure Point #2 is PC 6 (Pericardium 6 or “Inner Gate”) PC 6 (Pericardium 6 or “Inner Gate”) is also easy to get to. It’s on your inner forearm. To find it, go approximately 3 finger up from your wrist - it’s at the bottom of your inner forearm basically. It helps your heart and settles your blood pressure by regulating your circulatory system. It can also treat nausea, headaches, and motion sickness. Pressure Point #3 is LV 3 (Liver 3) This is on your foot, between your big toe and second toe. Again, apply pressure for about a minute. This helps with blood pressure, in addition to menstrual pains and anxiety. In general, your feet have a variety of pressure points, which, when massaged, can bring a great improvement to your health. In fact, there’s an entire healing practice focused on your feet and it’s called, Reflexology. Pressure Point #4 is GB 20 (Gallbladder 20 or the “Wind Pool”) This is found at the base of your neck, right under your skull. There are 2 points actually on each side of your vertebrae. Again, apply gentle pressure on both of these points, left and right, for about a minute. Pressure Point #5 is GV 20 (Governing Vessel 20 or “Hundred Convergences”) This is found at the top of your head, in the middle. You can massage or press this point to lower blood pressure, treat dizziness, or just to feel more rested. ======================================== Thank you for watching. The term “whiplash” usually brings to mind neck pain, headaches, and/or a stiff neck. However, there are other symptoms associated with whiplash that we don’t usually think of, such as ringing in the ears or tinnitus. In the absence of whiplash, there are many people who experience an occasional ringing or sound of some sort in their ears. The ringing may seem to keep time with their heartbeat or in cadence with their breathing and is more common over the age of 40 and among men. The sound can be a buzzing, ringing, roaring, hissing, or high pitched noise that usually lasts only seconds or minutes at the most. So, think of those times when you’ve noticed tinnitus and ask yourself, “…how would that affect me if that noise never stopped or lasted for hours?” Before we discuss the association of tinnitus with whiplash, let’s review some facts about tinnitus. There are two primary types of tinnitus: pulsatile and non-pulsatile. Pulsatile tinnitus is often caused by sounds created either by blood flow problems in the face or neck, muscle movements near the ear, or changes in the ear canal. The non-pulsatile tinnitus is usually caused by nerve problems involving hearing in one or both ears. The latter is sometimes described as a sound coming from inside the head. The most common cause of tinnitus is from age-related hearing loss – technically called presbycusis. However, it can also result from living or working in a loud environment. Tinnitus can occur with many types of hearing loss and can be a symptom of almost any ear disorder. Other common causes include earwax buildup, certain medication side effects (aspirin, antibiotics), too much caffeine or alcohol intake, ear infections – which can lead to rupture of the eardrum, dental problems, TMJ or jaw problems, following surgery or radiation therapy to the head or neck, a rapid change in environmental pressure (airplane rides, elevators, scuba diving), severe weight loss from malnutrition or dieting, bicycle riding with the neck extended for lengthy time frames, high blood pressure, nerve conditions (MS, migraine headache), as well as other conditions such as acoustic neuroma, anemia, labyrinthitis, Meniere’s disease, otosclerosis, and thyroid disease. The good news is that most of the time, tinnitus comes and goes and does not require treatment. When tinnitus is associated with other symptoms, does not get better or go away, or is in only one ear, it is wise to consult with a doctor of chiropractic. Spinal manipulation and other chiropractic treatment approaches are often VERY helpful in resolving tinnitus with the benefits of avoiding the need for medications, all of which carry secondary side effects. Chiropractic approaches are also highly effective when tinnitus is accompanied by dizziness or vertigo, usually requiring treatment applied to the upper neck area. So, how does whiplash cause tinnitus? There are primary as well as secondary causes that can give rise to tinnitus after whiplash. After looking at the long list of causes above, direct trauma to the head such as hitting the side window, the back of the seat, the steering wheel, mirror and/or windshield makes obvious sense. Secondary causes often involve the TMJ or jaw which is commonly injured in whiplash. By itself, TMJ can cause ear pain, tinnitus, vertigo (dizziness), hearing loss, and headaches. Because many nerves that innervate the neck and head arise from the neck as well as from the cranial nerves, spinal manipulation of the neck as well as certain cranial manipulations can have a dramatic benefit in treatment of whiplash induced tinnitus.Tinnitus can be helped with chiropractic treatment. The ancient Chinese believe that energy runs throughout the body in certain pathways that they call meridians, which are connected to pressure points and vital organs. Because of that, massaging the pressure points can help release tension and help organs function better. Today’s video will discuss ways to improve health and organ function by utilizing these pressure points. One such point is located on the neck and is said to contribute to happiness, health, energy and mood. Legend has it that if you take an ice cube and place it on this pressure point, which is located at the back of the neck, between the tendons, up near the hairline, it will improve your overall well-being. To experience this benefit, simply place an ice cube on the pressure point and secure it to your neck with a scarf or some type of bandage. After a few seconds, the skin will become numb and a warming sensation will be felt. Leave the ice cube on the pressure point for at least twenty minutes. For best results, it is recommended to repeat this twice daily, morning and night. The process will give vital energy and release endorphins. This particular pressure point is said to help with sleep, prevent colds, assist the digestive system, help with asthma, decrease joint pain and manage thyroid issues, just to name a few. However, it is extremely important to note that this is not recommended for anyone who has a pacemaker, is pregnant, has epilepsy or has schizophrenia. THESE ARE THE 8 Best Ingredients to Clear Clogged Arteries Content : taken from various books and research articles Music : Audio Library ( No Copyright Music) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCht8qITGkBvXKsR1Byln-wA Clogged arteries is a common condition. It’s characterized by plaque buildup in your blood vessels. More specifically, the plaque clogs the arteries that go to your brain. This can result in a dangerous restriction of blood flow. As a result, oxygen and nutrients don’t get to your tissues and organs like they should. This results in more dangerous conditions. These conditions can include cerebral hemorrhaging, heart attacks, or coronary artery disease. What scares most experts are the so-called “silent killers”. The main reason is because of how they develop. They don’t have any discernable symptoms. Or, sometimes these diseases are confused with other diseases. This makes it hard to properly diagnose and treat them. The people who are at the most risk for these silent killers are smokers, and both sedentary and overweight people. But, these diseases are also common among other types of people. This includes those who have both type 1 and 2 diabetes, arthritis, and various infections. The good news is that arterial blockages can be avoided.
