Hall starred on two of the most critically acclaimed television series in recent memory, both of them about death. He played David Fisher on HBO's family-run funeral home drama Six Feet Under, and then vigilante serial killer Dexter Morgan on Showtime's Dexter. Between the two shows, Hall amassed six Emmy and five Golden Globe nominations—and one Golden Globe win—for his performances. But with the end of Dexter in 2013, Hall has been largely absent from TV. HEAL while you SLEEP ~ With this UNBELIEVABLE POWER of the Mind FINALLY! You Can Purchase this MP3 here: https://sellfy.com/p/5kPn/ Welcome to Dauchsy meditations. This meditation was made to help you with the physical and emotional healing that you need. Many people do not realize that it is truly our own body and mind that contribute the most to the healing process. Even when we take medication given by a doctor to help with an illness, it is the body that transforms these chemicals into useful tools to heal. Even the most modern medicine has not been able to figure out how to kill a virus in the body. The only thing that can kill that virus is our own body. It has become easy to depend on some type of medicine to cure our illnesses. And because of this We have lost touch with the fact that, we can heal ourselves. Now, this meditation will help you remember this fact. It will show you how powerful your body and mind truly are at healing. By using this meditation, you will gain the ability to focus your intentions on healing. You will focus your powerful subconscious on healing yourself. Do not worry if you fall asleep during the meditation, Your subconscious mind is most comfortable and open to suggestion when you are unconscious in a sleeping state. You may be asleep, but your subconscious mind is busy at work. Following this meditation every night will make the body and mind a powerful force of healing. These last few minutes before you sleep, the time where you are in between being awake and asleep, it is the most important time for you to focus on the healing of the body. Your subconscious mind will take this information and use it for the next 8 hours of sleep. I am now healing I have the power to heal I believe in my body’s innate ability to heal itself I heal my body and mind with love and respect I sleep soundly My subconscious mind is now a tool for healing I am now focusing my intention on healing My body knows how to heal itself, and is doing so right now My body is now attuned to the wisdom of the universe My body is full of joy and vitality Gratitude and peace flow through my body like a clear healing stream I deserve to heal I create an environment for health and healing I am in alignment with my body’s ability to heal I am so grateful now that I am healing I can see now being completely healed ALL MEDITATION CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpFjnUgBboGkbnGp2DCp_YA PREVIOUS VIDEOS: ★Beginner's Guided Meditation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_29uTyLaPxM ★Manifest Meditation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdaFBuM1-8Y ★Sleep Meditation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7CU2Ka3XX8 ★Lose Weight Meditation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYVfLvZfjQg ★Stress Relief Meditation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj3CZNqDK7E WEBSITE: ★How to Meditate: http://bit.ly/2dTnPbg ★Benefits of Meditation: http://bit.ly/2deQpF9 ★What I learned From 13 Years Meditation: http://bit.ly/2eaqfjK SOCIAL MEDIA: ★Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Dauchsy-Meditations-1485736465064303/ ★Twitter: https://twitter.com/NewAgeEnlighten ★Google+ Page: https://plus.google.com/106859791103348418828/posts Dauchsy23

Three Americans won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine on Monday for their discoveries about the body's daily rhythms, opening up whole new fields of research and raising awareness about the importance of getting proper sleep. Jeffrey C. Hall, Michael Rosbash and Michael W. Young won 9-million-kronor ($1.1 million) prize for isolating a gene that controls the body's normal daily biological rhythm. Circadian rhythms adapt the workings of the body to different phases of the day, influencing sleep, behavior, hormone levels, body temperature and metabolism. They "were able to peek inside our biological clock and elucidate its inner workings," the Nobel citation said. Rosbash is on the faculty at Brandeis University, Young is at Rockefeller University and Hall has been associated with the University of Maine. The winners have raised "awareness of the importance of a proper sleep hygiene" said Juleen Zierath of the Nobel academy. Michael Hastings, a scientist at the U.K. Medical Research Council, said the discoveries had opened up a whole new field of study for biology and medicine. "Until then, the body clock was viewed as a sort of black box," Hastings told The Associated Press. "We knew nothing about its operation. But what they did was get the genes that made the body clock, and once you've got the genes, you can take the field wherever you want to." "It's a field that has exploded massively, propelled by the discoveries by these guys," he told the AP. The awardees' work stems back to 1984, when Rosbash and Hall, who was then also at Brandeis, along with Young isolated the "period gene" in fruit flies. Hall and Rosbash found that a protein encoded by the gene accumulated during the night and degraded during daytime. A decade later, Young discovered another "clock gene." "The paradigm-shifting discoveries by the laureates established key mechanisms for the biological clock," the Nobel Assembly said in its prize statement. "Our wellbeing is affected when there is a temporary mismatch between our external environment and this internal biological clock, for example when we travel across several time zones and experience 'jet lag,'" the statement said. "There are also indications that chronic misalignment between our lifestyle and the rhythm dictated by our inner time keeper is associated with increased risk for various diseases." That misalignment may be associated with diseases including cancer and degenerative neurological conditions. "Circadian dysfunction has been linked to sleep disorders, as well as depression, bipolar disorder, cognitive function, memory formation and some neurological diseases," a Nobel background report said. The Swedish news agency TT quoted Rosbash as saying he got the call about the award just after 5 a.m. "I'm still shocked. I'm sitting here in my pajamas with my wife. I hadn't even had a thought about this," he said. "I haven't spoken with my colleagues yet. I haven't even had time to have a cup of coffee."

Marc Anthony is a talented singer of a Latin American origin who won the hearts of millions of fans not only in the US but also all across the globe. A future star was noticed by a producer David Harris and very soon, Anthony became a backing singer in famous at that time bands. In 1991, he released the first album which became a success with one of the songs being placed on top of the rating by the Billboard magazine. Nowadays, he is one of the greatest Latin and Salsa music performers. Marc’s father, Felipe Muniz is also a singer. That’s why music could be heard in a house very often. According to Anthony, this is the main reason why he began singing so early. Felipe always saw some light in son’s eyes when they were singing and persuaded him to pursue it as a professional career and was absolutely right. The mother, Guillermina had been a housewife, raising eight kids. She was the biggest inspiration for the musician. That’s why when she passed away in 2017, aged 82, it was a big loss for the whole family. The songwriter has seven siblings: brothers Michael, Victor, Edwin, and sisters Susie, Yolanda and Maribel, who died to brain cancer being just 8 years old. Marc’s personal life has always been interesting to the public and fans. He had been together with a police officer named Debbie Rosado for two years, since 1993 up till 1995. During these two years, they have produced two kids and didn’t go on with the relationship and broke up. A model Dayanara Torres Delgado became the artist’s first spouse in 2000. They had been together for 4 years and during this time managed to break up twice. First time it happened in 2002 but they quickly reunited with a beautiful Puerto Rican ceremony. However, just a year later they separated again and Torres filed for a divorce in 2004. The second former wife is an internationally known and famous singer and actress, Jennifer Lopez. She walked down the aisle with Marc in 2004 and had been living with him for 7 years officially. The divorce was finalized in 2014. The ex lovers are still good friends. The third and for now the last ex-spouse is a model, Shannon De Lima. She was featured in one of Marc’s music videos, where she had a main role. They tied the knot in 2014 in Dominican Republic and walked separate ways in 2017. Just a month after their divorce, Marc was seen with his new girlfriend Mariana Downing. The famous artist became a father for the very first time in 1994, when Ariana was born. It is a common daughter with Rosado. One more kid with Rosado is a son named Alex. He is an adopted child, who remained the singer’s kid even after the divorce. In marriage with Torres, Anthony has two more children. Christian Marcus was delivered in 2001. And just 2 years later, the second son, Ryan Adrian joined the family, becoming a wonderful addition. Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins named Maximilian David and Emme Maribel in 2008. The famous mother regularly shares photos and videos of kids, demonstrating their singing talents. That is all. Don’t forget to subscribe to our channel. https://www.youtube.com/theskeleton

Since 1974 studies have shown that cannabis has anti-tumor effects. The results of the 1974 study, reported in an Aug. 18, 1974, Washington Post newspaper feature, were that cannabis's component, THC, "slowed the growth of lung cancers, breast cancers and a virus-induced leukemia in laboratory mice, and prolonged their lives by as much as 36 percent." In 1975 an article in the Journal of the National cancer institute titled "Antineoplastic Activity of Cannabinoids," they reported that "Lewis lung adenocarcinoma growth was retarded by the oral administration of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabinol (CBD). Mice treated for 20 consecutive days with THC and CBD had reduced primary tumor size." In 1998, a research team at Madrid's Complutense University Led by Dr. Manuel Guzman discovered that THC can selectively induce programmed cell death in brain tumor cells without negatively impacting surrounding healthy cells. They reported in the March 2002 issue of "Nature Medicine" they had destroyed incurable brain cancer tumors in rats by injecting them with THC. And in 2007 even Harvard Researchers found that compounds in cannabis cut the growth of lung cancer. There is also an organization called The SETH Group that showed compounds in cannabis can stop the growth of human glioblastoma multiforma (GBM) brain cancer cells. The SETH Group says "No chemotherapy can match this nontoxic anti-cancer action." Even last year in 2012 a pair of scientists at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco found THC stops metastasis in many kinds of aggressive cancer. - See more at: http://www.cureyourowncancer.org/lincolns-story-why-cyoc-started

In 2013, I found a story that touched my heart: a group of friends were fighting to raise awareness about bone marrow donations for a young woman who'd been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It had spread to her brain. Nina was in dire need of a bone marrow transplant. Complicating matters is that she's of Asian descent, which narrowed her odds of finding a match (fewer people of the same race and ethnicity registered to donate). The good news: she found a donor! The wife and mother of two is living happily. I couldn't be happier. The "odd" news: I was diagnosed with the same cancer, same subtype just three years later. That motivated me to create OneDavid: a company to help cancer patients and caregivers by giving them real answers from real people. These are the molecular machines inside your body that make cell division possible. Animation by Drew Berry at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. http://wehi.tv Special thanks to Patreon supporters: Joshua Abenir, Tony Fadell, Donal Botkin, Jeff Straathof, Zach Mueller, Ron Neal, Nathan Hansen Support Veritasium on Patreon: http://ve42.co/patreon Every day in an adult human roughly 50-70 billion of your cells die. They may be damaged, stressed, or just plain old - this is normal, in fact it’s called programmed cell death. To make up for that loss, right now, inside your body, billions of cells are dividing, creating new cells. And cell division, also called mitosis, requires an army of tiny molecular machines.DNA is a good place to start - the double helix molecule that we always talk about. This is a scientifically accurate depiction of DNA. If you unwind the two strands you can see that each has a sugar phosphate backbone connected to the sequence of nucleic acid base pairs, known by the letters A,T,G, and C. Now the strands run in opposite directions, which is important when you go to copy DNA. Copying DNA is one of the first steps in cell division. Here the two strands of DNA are being unwound and separated by the tiny blue molecular machine called helicase. It literally spins as fast as a jet engine! The strand of DNA on the right has its complimentary strand assembled continuously but the other strand is more complicated because it runs in the opposite direction. So it must be looped out with its compliment strand assembled in reverse, section by section. At the end of this process you have two identical DNA molecules, each one a few centimeters long but just a couple nanometers wide. To prevent the DNA from becoming a tangled mess, it is wrapped around proteins called a histones, forming a nucleosome. These nucleosomes are bundled together into a fiber known as chromatin, which is further looped and coiled to form a chromosome, one of the largest molecular structures in your body. You can actually see chromosomes under a microscope in dividing cells - only then do they take on their characteristic shape. The process of dividing the cell takes around an hour in mammals. This footage is from a time lapse. You can see how the chromosomes line up on the equator of the cell. When everything is right they are pulled apart into the two new daughter cells, each one containing an identical copy of DNA. As simple as it looks, this process is incredibly complicated and requires even more fascinating molecular machines to accomplish it. Let’s look at a single chromosome. One chromosome consists of two sausage-shaped chromatids - containing the identical copies of DNA made earlier. Each chromatid is attached to microtubule fibers, which guide and help align them in the correct position. The microtubules are connected to the chromatid at the kinetochore, here colored red. The kinetochore consists of hundreds of proteins working together to achieve multiple objectives - it’s one of the most sophisticated molecular mechanisms inside your body. The kinetochore is central to the successful separation of the chromatids. It creates a dynamic connection between the chromosome and the microtubules. For a reason no one’s yet been able to figure out, the microtubules are constantly being built at one end and deconstructed at the other. While the chromosome is still getting ready, the kinetochore sends out a chemical stop signal to the rest of the cell, shown here by the red molecules, basically saying this chromosome is not yet ready to divide The kinetochore also mechanically senses tension. When the tension is just right and the position and attachment are correct all the proteins get ready, shown here by turning green. At this point the stop signal broadcasting system is not switched off. Instead it is literally carried away from the kinetochore down the microtubules by a dynein motor. This is really what it looks like. It has long ‘legs’ so it can avoid obstacles and step over the kinesins, molecular motors walking the other direction. Studio filming by Raquel Nuno
