Diet coke is annoying for all flight attendants because we need to wait for the bubbles to fall before we can finish pouring. This trick makes it quicker to do so we can serve the next passenger. NEXT TIME!!! (if this gets 10m likes) : we fill the school toilets with cornflour and flush them and put fireworks in the lockers and fill the cooking room with bath bombs and leave the taps on and fill the netballs with squirty cream and slime and put glitter in the printers experiment prank COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL: if any science teachers want to use this video in lessons for educational purposes you must ask for person first or you could be fined up to £19.30 my email is greatist5sientist5eva@officialbusiness.co.uk JOKES feel free to project this onto the great pyramid. Comment what other experiments i should do e.g 7up vs fanta peppermint mentos explosion Graph of our findings: I_/'- Conclusion: the drinks react to the mentos because they are chemicaly and have atoms. they reacted at roughly the same rate. to improve this investigation we would measure the height and duration of the explosion as well as the volume of remaining liquid for accurate results. the different flavours may affect the outcome as pink colouring could be a catalyst for this reaction but further research is needed. WARNING DONT TRY THIS AT HOME IT IS HIGHLY DANGEROUS AND CAN DROWN FLIES!!! I AM A TRAINED SCIENTIST WITH 20 DEGREES INCLUDING CHEMISTRY OF COLD AND CARBONATED ONLY LIQUID ATOMS (COCACOLA) SO I KNOW WHAT IM DOING!! enjoy ♡

Cornstarch Goo - Cool Science Experiment

02:36
Check out this and other cool science experiments at http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/experiments/ This is a three part video segment showing you everything you need to know when it comes to making the perfect batch of cornstarch and water goo. Mix cornstarch and water in this classic experiment to form a gooey liquid and solid material that behaves like quicksand. Some people refer to this as the Oobleck recipe, others call it a Non-Newtonian fluid. After watching these video segments, you'll call it a great science lesson as your students learn about the amazing properties of this cornstarch and water mixture. And yes... Steve shows you how to perform the "Cornstarch Walk on Water" on a much smaller scale - using only 100 boxes of cornstarch in a small pool - instead of the 2,500 pounds he used on the Ellen Show. "The popularity amongst Children across America following my viral appearances really inspired me, That I've been given an opportunity to be a good roll model for kids. Thats a great reason to wake up in morning" -Wolverton "My artistic Vision is greatly influenced by my upbringing in the Native American Peyote Way Church and the Baha'i Faith. I realized that 1,000 years ago all art, performance, music, and dance was done through spiritual inspiration. The original performances were ritual and Ceremony. It wasn't until the Renaissance that making a living through art became more widespread. Through my performances I intend to bring us back to an age of mysticism. Reminding people that performance is a ritual and that magic can be spiritual. The Special Head show goes beyond a traditional magic show. Not only does Wolverton perform Music while simultaneously performing magic illusions, Wolverton also incorporates thought provoking theatrics into his many acts. Danny uses illusions to cause the viewer to question "what it means to be human." His show is flexible and can be adapted to entertain many different age groups. Centripetal Force - Cool Science Experiment

Fire Water Balloon - Cool Science Experiment

Common sense tells you that it's impossible to boil water in a paper bag, but this classic parlor trick was a favorite of the Victorian magician. The real difficulty in performing this effect is making it look harder than it is! As you might imagine, the secret lies in yet another amazing property of water - it's ability to conduct heat. Instead of using a paper bag, this modern day version of the demonstration uses an ordinary balloon, some water and a candle. It's a combination that's guaranteed to make people stand back. Coca Cola Milk Experiment - Cool Science Experiments with Coca Cola by Home Science

Coca Cola Milk Experiment - Cool Science Experiments with Coca Cola by Home Science Coca Cola vs Coca Cola Zero: http://youtu.be/OBzvN9FLx4Q The reaction of phosphoric acid (V) to proteins in the milk - they are cut and causes a precipitate The reaction of phosphoric acid with calcium contained in milk gives rise to a precipitate 3Ca + 2H3PO4 ///\\\ Ca3(PO4)2 + 3H2 Coca Cola and Pool Chlorine: http://youtu.be/wPxjKRwHOiQ Subscribe Today! ► http://goo.gl/nBz627 Follow me on Twitter ► http://twitter.com/maricv84 Like me on Facebook ► http://www.facebook.com/HomeScienceVideos Post to Facebook: http://on.fb.me/W11gW6 Post to Twitter: http://bit.ly/1mMfljH Post to Google Plus: http://bit.ly/1sQbHqa It is a reaction of the Phosphoric Acid contained in the coca cola to the milk. Phosphoric Acid molecules attach to the milk giving them more density and separate out while the remaining liquid that makes up the milk and cocoa cola now being lighter floats on top. The solid matter is basically milk that has been curdled by the addition of the more acidic soda. Both items are acidic but coca-cola more so. In general, coca-cola has a pH of anywhere from 2.5-4.5 because of the Phosphoric Acid content where milk has a normal pH around 6.7 (almost neutral, milk that is in the base range is usually mastitic). There are some studies to suggest that because of the high Phosphoric Acid content in most soft drinks that they can help to increase the likelihood that a person will develop Osteoporosis if they aren't getting enough Calcium in their diet. Coca-cola makes an excellent household cleaner - it can be used to take tarnish off of pennies and I've used it to degrease car engines. I will not drink any soft drinks. Cornstarch Goo - Cool Science Experiment

A tiny little project I did for my High School Chemistry class a while back, that I'm just now uploading as a video. Schematics available for Students and Teachers, see below. Also, my intro doesn't have any audio for it yet, and I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out with that! If you would be interested in making one of these generators and you are a TEACHER, I can give you full schematics after proof (credentials). If you are a STUDENT and would like to use a modified version of this project (do something other than light an LED) I can give you full schematics after you prove you go to school somewhere and explain what you plan to do. Science of the Olympics - Cool Science Experiments

Check out this and other cool science experiments at http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/experiments/ I cant help but be amazed by the high-tech science that were seeing at this years Summer Olympics. The name of the game in so many of the sports is to reduce any opposing resistance. In some instances, the athlete can actually use other competitors to block the wind (drafting in cycling). What does any of this have to do with floating beach balls and flying toilet paper? That fast-moving air flowing around the object creates an area of lower pressure and gives the athlete an advantage. Thanks Bernoulli. About Steve Spangler Science... Career Project : Earth Science Teacher

01:12
Sundeep Bibra Cody Frank Period 7 Career Project: Earth Science Teacher For our career project we chose to be an Earth Science Teacher. We wanted to learn a little bit more about the teachers at our school and about what they had to do just to become teachers. In order to be an Earth Science Teacher, you have to make sure all the students learn what the science state standards tell them to learn, but you have to do it in a way that is easy and, hopefully fun, way to learn. You also have to have great communication skills and be very good at public speaking. Talking is a big key in being any kind of teacher. And in science it is harder because you have to teach the kids how to remember something and what to remember. You have to be able to speak loudly so the children can hear you, and you need to be able to talk to all of them. You need to be able to answer all their questions, and do it in a way that all the kids can understand easily. The duties you have as a teacher are making sure you now how to plan the year based on your state standards so all the kids learn all they need to know for next year. Also you need to make up lessons that the kids can understand. Planning lessons can take a lot of time. Making homework and classwork can also be a time consuming process. You also have to take a lot of your free time to grade tests, homework, and classwork. Working time can add up to over 40 hours a week. Teachers are in high need because every school in every state needs a teacher. In 2006 there were over 4 million teachers in the world. There isnt really any maximum for schooling to become a teacher because youre always learning new things as time goes by. But for minimums, you can become a science teacher with only a bachelors or masters degree in education and a focus in science. But, many science teachers also choose to go on to complete their MS or PhD in a certain science field. You would also probably need some training in computers, in order to create a PowerPoint or lab setups for the kids. The pay varies from state to state. Also, the grade level you are teaching affects your yearly income. In a California high school the range would be between 40-80k per year. They can also make more money by working in summer school. The best part of being a teacher is the satisfaction of knowing you taught something to someone and they appreciate you for that. The worst would probably be those few kids who would just ignore whatever you say and do what they want. It is also and interesting job, as you would be learning with the kids and get to know them and help them. Overall, Earth Science Teachers are very respectable people and have some of the nicest personalities. They know what they're doing and make sure you do as well.

Fun Science Activity For Kids - Floating Egg Experiment - Science Experiments For Children

04:59
Another fun science activity for children from The Quirkles! Is all water just alike? Try this floating egg experiment to see! Objective: To learn that salt water is denser than fresh water Materials: Two clear plastic cups or drinking glasses * Four tablespoons of table salt Two raw eggs Water Procedure: Fill both cups three quarters full of water. Add four tablespoons of table salt to one of the cups of water and stir. Add nothing to the other cup. Place one egg in each cup. Conclusion: The egg floats in the salt water because it is not as heavy (dense) as the salty water. The egg in the fresh water sinks because it is heavier than the water. * If the egg does not float, add more salt to the water.
