Fever, Tylenol and Asthma

04:03
Fevers are good and Tylenol is bad for asthma - this is what the latest research on childhood asthma has found. It seems that acetaminophen (most commonly sold as Tylenol) triggers damage to the lining of the lungs, and the development of asthma or asthmatic tendencies. Research was published in a few journals, namely the British Medical Journal and American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine

Learn How To Manage Pneumonia - Manipal Hospital

03:54
Home Treatment is critical for pneumonia. Patients should drink plenty of fluids and take rest for recovery. A cough is a common problem patient’s face. However, cough is one way by which body can get rid of the infection. Consider taking acetaminophen (such as Tylenol) or aspirin to help reduce fever and make you feel more comfortable. Medicine should be taken as per doses specified by the doctor and make sure that you don’t consume doses beyond the specified amount. Take care of your lungs by exercises like a deep breath, which enables to open up your lungs. This video is an informative animated presentation that explains in detail about Pneumonia and how to manage your recovery. If you have recently been to hospital with pneumonia, it’s important to understand how to manage pneumonia during the treatment and the proper care needed for pneumonia recovery post hospitalisation. Pneumonia is a lung infection that may affect one or both lungs. Few common pneumonia signs and symptoms are: cough with thick mucus, shortness of breath, chest pain when you breathe deeply or cough, fever, sweating or chills, low body temperatures for older adults, muscle aches and fatigue, nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea, and headache. Your doctor may check the pneumonia lung sounds, the sound produced by lungs with pneumonia due to the rubbing of the inflamed lungs together, with the help of a stethoscope. It is important to understand that you will still have symptoms of post-pneumonia recovery as you recover at home. Taking caring of yourself means taking their medications exactly as directed by your doctor. Your healthcare team may recommend postural drainage, you can do this by lying with your head, lower than your chest, and this position helps drain fluid from your lungs. Your doctor will also prescribe some medication for persistent chest infection and cures for shortness of breath, if necessary. Acute Bronchitis - Causes, Symptoms, Treatments & More…

02:12
See much more honest health information at: http://www.rehealthify.com/ Rehealthify offers reliable, up-to-date health information, anytime, anywhere, for free. -- video script below -- Bronchitis is an inflammation of the bronchial tubes, the airways that carry air to your lungs. It causes a cough that often brings up mucus, as well as shortness of breath, wheezing, and chest tightness. There are two main types of bronchitis: acute and chronic. The same viruses that cause colds and the flu often cause acute bronchitis. These viruses spread through the air when people cough, or through physical contact (for example, on unwashed hands). Being exposed to tobacco smoke, air pollution, dusts, vapors, and fumes can also cause acute bronchitis. Bacteria can also cause acute bronchitis, but not as often as viruses. Most cases of acute bronchitis get better within several days. But your cough can last for several weeks after the infection is gone. If you think you have acute bronchitis, see your healthcare provider. Treatments include rest, fluids, and aspirin (for adults) or acetaminophen to treat fever. A humidifier or steam can also help. You may need inhaled medicine to open your airways if you are wheezing. You probably do not need antibiotics. They don't work against viruses - the most common cause of acute bronchitis. If your healthcare provider thinks you have a bacterial infection, he or she may prescribe antibiotics. NIH: National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute

Early Signs of Bronchitis - Bronchitis Symptoms Don't Ignore These

03:47
Don't Ignore These Early Symptoms of Bronchitis Like, Comment, Subscribe and invite all your friends to see our videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfR3Y90G-fFDYI6i7E7xPBQ Signs and Symptoms of Bronchitis, Bronchitis Treatment The first sign of bronchitis is usually a persistent dry cough (associated with an upper respiratory infection). Eventually, coughing brings up sputum from the lungs that may be thin, clear, and white. As infection progresses, the sputum becomes thick and yellow, green, or brown. A thick, pus-filled discharge suggests a bacterial infection. Other symptoms include the following: - Burning pain, wheezing, and crackling in the chest - Painful and difficult breathing - Malaise (generally feeling unwell) - Low-grade fever (101ºF–102ºF) Insomnia can develop with persistent nighttime coughing. Symptoms usually last 3 to 7 days; a dry cough commonly persists several weeks after the infection resolves. Complications of Bronchitis Left untreated, acute bronchitis can occasionally progress to pneumonia and chronic bronchitis, particularly in people with suppressed immune systems or lung disease. Chronic bronchitis is associated with long-term constriction of airways, bacterial infection, and other diseases, including asthma, emphysema, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Bronchitis Diagnosis Diagnosis is made by the health care provider taking a careful history of symptoms and performing a physical examination. A stethoscope is used to listen to the lungs. If symptoms are prolonged or severe, a chest x-ray may be performed to check for a more serious condition. Treatment for Bronchitis Viral bronchitis usually resolves without treatment. Increasing fluid intake helps reduce congestion and is necessary when fever is present. Rest is also helpful, and fever and back and muscle pain may be treated with acetaminophen (Tylenol). Over-the-counter cough suppressants and expectorants and steamy showers can temporarily relieve symptoms by thinning mucus and opening airways, allowing for easier expulsion of mucus. Bacterial bronchitis is treated with antibiotics, such as tetracycline, erythromycin, and amoxicillin (in children), depending on the causative bacteria. Side effects of these medications are usually mild and include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Prevention of Bronchitis Good hygiene can reduce the spread of viral infection. Immunizations against influenza and pertussis can reduce the risk for bacterial bronchitis. Avoiding smoking cigarettes, second-hand smoke, and heavy fumes can hasten recovery, because the lungs' task of filtering pollutants is made easier. {The information provided on this channel and its videos is for general purposes only and should not be considered as professional advice. pneumonia natural treatment at home

06:35
LIKE | COMMENT | SHARE | SUBSCRIBE . Home treatment is important for recovery from pneumonia. Get plenty of rest. Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. Take care of your cough if it is making it hard for you to rest. Consider taking acetaminophen (such as Tylenol) or aspirin to help reduce fever and make you feel more comfortable. you should follow few of these home made remedies here : Gargling with salt water — or even just water — can help get rid of some of the mucus in your throat and relieve irritation. To do this: Dissolve 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt into a glass of warm water. Gargle the mixture for 30 seconds, and spit it out. Repeat at least three times each day. Garlic has antimicrobial properties that fight off bacteria, viruses and fungi. It also helps bring down the body temperature and increases expectoration to clear phlegm out of the chest and lungs. you can follow any of these Mix one cup of milk in four cups of water and add one-half teaspoon of crushed garlic to it. Boil the solution until it reduces to one-fourth of the original amount. Drink it three times a day. Another way to use garlic is to marinate crushed garlic cloves in a mixture of equal amounts of fresh lemon juice and honey. Take two to three teaspoons of this, three or four times a day. You can also rub a garlic paste or garlic juice on your chest. If you do no like the strong taste and smell of garlic, you can drink ginger tea for relief. Fresh carrot juice, spinach juice, beet juice, cucumber juice, and other vegetable juices are excellent for your health, especially when dealing with pneumonia. They boost immunity, dissolve mucus, and aid in detoxification. Being rich in phosphorus and chlorine, parsnip juice, too, is highly beneficial for your lungs and bronchial system. so please do the following Combine spinach juice and carrot juice in a ratio of 2:3 to make one-half liter of juice. Drink it daily. Alternatively, combine one part beet juice, one part cucumber juice and three parts carrot juice. Drink it daily. You can also drink 250 ml or one cup of parsnip juice daily. Use the juice of cultivated rather than wild parsnips for this purpose. Steam helps fight infection and improves breathing by relieving coughing and congestion. Ginger has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that make it useful in reducing pain. As with turmeric, current research on ginger hasn’t looked at its efficacy for chest pain You Should follow the following strictly: Drink at least 8 cups of water or liquid per day. Liquids help to thin mucous and keep your fever down. Make sure to get enough rest. Your body needs extra time to recuperate and heal properly. Adequate rest can also help to prevent relapse. Follow a healthy diet plan that’s balanced to include all food groups. During recovery, it’s recommended that you eat six smaller meals daily instead of three larger ones. please like share & subscribe this channel. don't forget to press the bell icon for all future updates.

How to treat pneumonia

06:20
How to treat pneumonia Walking pneumonia, or atypical pneumonia, is a less severe case of pneumonia, a lung infection. It is most common in people younger than 40 years of age and is often preceded by headache and body aches. Respiratory pathogens that commonly cause walking pneumonia are bacteria (including Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Legionella pneumophila, G. pneumoniae), a number of viruses, and fungi, as well as inhaled food or drink. METHOD1 USING MEDICAL TREATMENT 1)GET A PRESCRIPTION FOR ANTIBIOTICS. • Consult your medical provider for the best choice of antibiotic for you. Early treatment of your pneumonia with an antibiotic can prevent you from developing life-threatening complications. Your doctor may suggest that you eat yogurt or take probiotic supplements to ensure you have enough healthy gut bacteria while taking the antibiotics. • Use a bronchodilator or inhaler. These are useful for those who experience difficulty breathing, a tight chest, or wheezing. These medications help to open up the alveoli of the lungs and facilitated oxygenation and riding off mucus containing bacteria. 2)TAKE OVER-THE-COUNTER MEDICATION TO REDUCE YOUR FEVER AND HEADACHE SYMPTOMS. Over-the-counter (OTC) medication can help reduce symptoms like fever and headache, though it will not cure your infection. Take aspirin, ibuprofen (such as Advil or Motrin IB) and acetaminophen (Tylenol). • OTC medication can interact negatively with prescription medication, such as blood pressure medications. Talk to your doctor before you take OTC medication for walking pneumonia if you are taking prescription medication. METHOD2 DOING HOME CARE 1)HAVE AT LEAST 10 TO 12 GLASSES OF WATER OR WARM FLUIDS EACH DAY. Drinking lots of fluids will help maintain secretion and expectorate from your lungs, which will help to clean out the infection. You can add honey and lemon to hot water to get a boost of vitamin C, especially if you have a sore throat. • You can also have green tea, as it contain antioxidants, and fruit juices, which contain vitamins and minerals. 2)LET YOUR BODY REST. Rest is essential to recovering from walking pneumonia, as your body will need to focus its energies on fighting off the infection. Try to put your feet up and stay in bed, even if this means missing an appointment or a class. 3)HAVE HIGHLY NUTRITIOUS, EASY TO DIGEST FOODS. Focus on maintaining a diet of soups, such as chicken soup or chicken bouillon, and small, nutritious meals throughout the day. You do not want to tire out your body with big meals but you should try to provide your immune system with nutrients so it can fight off the virus. • Prepare yogurt with fruit for lunch or as a snack. The active cultures in yogurt can help to improve your gut bacteria and your immune system. ______________________________________________________________ pneumonia, how to treat pneumonia, how to treat pneumonia in dogs, how to treat pneumonia at home, how to treat pneumonia naturally, how to treat pneumonia in babies, how to treat pneumonia in elderly, how to treat pneumonia in calves, how to treat pneumonia in cats, how to treat pneumonia cough, how to treat pneumonia in cattle, how to treat pneumonia, how to treat pneumonia naturally _________________________________________________________________

Phyllanthus Amarus home made tea for health

03:59
Phyllanthus niruri is a weed found in coastal areas. It’s also known as gale of the wind or stonebreaker. Its leaves and fruit are used as herbal medicine. Phyllanthus niruri is known for protecting the liver. It may also combat kidney stones, hence the “stonebreaker” moniker. Keep reading to learn more about how this plant may improve your health. 1. It has antioxidant properties According to a 2014 in vitro study, an extract made from phyllanthus niruri leaves showed strong antioxidant activity. Antioxidants fight free radicals in the body that may cause cell damage and disease. 2. It has antimicrobial properties According to a 2012 study, phyllanthus niruri extract has antimicrobial abilities against H. pylori bacteria. H. pylori bacteria are common in the digestive tract and are usually harmless. But in some cases, they can lead to peptic ulcers, abdominal pain, and nausea. Researchers also found that the extract didn’t harm any beneficial strains of lactic acid bacteria. 3. It has anti-inflammatory properties Inflammation can cause many problems throughout the body, including skin conditions like psoriasis and chronic pain. According to a 2017 animal study, phyllanthus niruri may help reduce inflammation. For the study, researchers injected carrageenan into the left hind paws of rats to cause inflammation. The rats were then treated with phyllanthus niruri extract, which was found to significantly reduce the inflammation. 4. It may help protect against ulcers Findings from the same 2017 animal study also suggest that phyllanthus niruri extract can help prevent ulcers. It’s thought to reduce gastric acid secretion and protect the stomach. It also showed potent anti-inflammatory effects against gastric ulcers. 5. It may help lower blood sugar Phyllanthus niruri may also have antidiabetic properties. According to a 2011 study, the plant’s aerial parts may help prevent glucose absorption and improve glucose storage. This may help maintain blood sugar levels. 6. It may help prevent kidney stones Phyllanthus niruri may be best known as a kidney stone remedy. According to 2010 research, many studies have shown that it’s a powerful kidney stone deterrent. Phyllanthus niruri can help relax the ureter after lithotripsy to help stones pass. Lithotripsy is a procedure used to break up stones in the urinary tract. It may also prevent stones from forming in the first place by stopping the crystals that form them from clumping together. 7. It may improve liver health According to a 2017 study on rats, phyllanthus niruri may help treat nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and atherosclerosis. Both conditions may cause insulin resistance. The study found phyllanthus niruri decreased insulin resistance and reduced the amount of fatty acids in the liver. A 2006 study on mice also found that the antioxidants in phyllanthus niruri may help protect the liver from acetaminophen toxicity. 8. It may help treat acute hepatitis B Phyllanthus niruri may help treat acute hepatitis B infections due to its anti-viral and liver-protecting abilities. In a 2010 study, 60 people with the condition received either a placebo or a product made of seven herbal medicines including 100 milligrams of phyllanthus niruri. The herbal medicine group experienced faster recovery than the placebo group. However, they reported side effects like upper abdominal pain and diarrhea. Phyllanthus niruri may not help chronic hepatitis B, though. A 2011 review of 16 randomized trials on people with chronic hepatitis B didn’t find any significant evidence in support of the treatment. 9. It may be anti-cancerous Phyllanthus niruri and other phyllanthus species may help prevent the metastasis of some lung and breast cancers. A 2011 study showed the polyphenols in the herb help prevent the invasion, migration, and adhesion of cancer cells. A 2012 study on human colorectal and liver cancer cell lines also found that phyllanthus niruri helped slow cancer cell growth and encouraged cancer cell death.

Signs and Symptoms of Bronchitis You Should Know

Signs and Symptoms of Bronchitis | Warning Signs of Bronchitis =================================================== Like, Comment, Subscribe and invite all your friends to see our videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUOF1_1_fY50PVN0TtItbDQ?sub_confirmation=1 ================================================== The first sign of bronchitis is usually a persistent dry cough (associated with an upper respiratory infection). ================================ {The information provided on this channel and its videos is for general purposes only and should not be considered as professional advice. 10 Best Natural Blood Thinners - Complete Food List

04:53
Blood thinner medicines prevent blood clots from forming. Also, they keep existing blood clots from getting larger. Blood clots can stop the flow of blood to the lungs, heart, or brain which may lead to stroke or a heart attack. However, blood thinner medicines have some side effects such as - bleeding gums, nosebleeds, vaginal bleeding, heavier than normal menstrual, coughing up blood, brown or pink urine, vomiting blood, and black or red stools. Also, because these medicines work by interfering with the blood's ability to coagulate, you may also have trouble stopping the blood flow if you sustain even a minor injury. Luckily, there are a few natural blood thinners you can have in your diet to prevent blood clots, such as: #1 Turmeric - it comes from the Curcuma longa plant, that grows in India and other Southeast Asian countries. Curcumin, the main component of turmeric, has a variety of health benefits, including being a natural blood thinner. Moreover, turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory, a natural immune modulator, and is increasingly being acknowledged as a potent cancer preventive and cancer fighter. #2 Bromelain, an enzyme found in pineapple, is a natural blood thinner, as it can help lower the excessive adhesiveness of blood platelets. In addition, it promotes a healthy complexion and hair, overall lower weight, and increased energy. #3 Garlic - it has a mild inhibitory effect on platelet aggregation (one of the first stages in blood clot formation), according to a 2001 study issued in "JAMA Internal Medicine." Some individuals also use garlic for the prevention of prostate cancer, lung cancer, stomach cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, and rectal cancer. #4 Ginger - it is packed with salicylates, natural chemicals which help protect plants from disease and insect damage. Salicylates are also a major ingredient in aspirin and other pain-relieving medications. Foods containing salicylates are effective blood thinners since salicylates block vitamin K in the human body, hence, thinning the blood. #5 Ginkgo biloba, also known as gingko or ginkgo, has a compound called - Ginkgolide B which is known to reduce coagulation and increase blood flow to the brain and enhance memory. #6 Foods High In Vitamin E - vitamin E helps to prevent blood platelets from sticking together and causing clots. Vitamin E rich foods include - mustard greens, broccoli, blackberries, Swiss chard, almonds, sunflower seeds, spinach, collard greens, avocados, kale, kiwi, red bell peppers, mangoes, papaya, olives, apples, mamey sapote, and cranberries. #7 Foods High In Omega-3 Fatty Acids - omega-3 also decreases platelet aggregation, therefore, it acts as a natural blood thinner and lowers the chance of the formation of blood clots. The best source of omega-3 fatty acids is flax seeds. Other sources include - chia seeds, pinto beans, kale, red kidney beans, navy beans, pistachios, macadamia nuts, soybeans, mung beans, rice bran, walnuts, sesame seeds, and pecans. #8 Cayenne Pepper - it is a fast-acting natural blood thinner which in large quantities has the effect of a clot buster. Moreover, cayenne pepper has been used for heart attack recovery and relief from angina. It also helps increase the amount of heat the body produces, making it burn more calories for a few hours after consumption. #9 Cinnamon - it contains coumarin, a chemical which acts as a strong anticoagulant. Coumarin also has been used as both a food additive and as an ingredient in perfume due to its aromatic and sweet odor. #10 Tomatoes - they contain carotenoids, like - lycopene and lutein - which can protect the eye against light-induced damage. Also, lycopene inhibits platelet aggregation, thus, reducing the chance of blood clots. Tomatoes are also a good source of vitamin C, that can help combat the formation of free radicals. Notes - Staying hydrated can help thin your blood and sustain your cardiovascular system to function properly. It is recommended to drink half your body weight in ounces of water daily. For example, if you weigh 200 lbs., drink 100 ounces of water per day, which is 3 - 4 quarts a day or one gallon. Moderate daily physical exercise will also help thin the blood. Thank you. What are the symptoms of pneumonia?

There are many symptoms associated with pneumonia. The most common include a cough with greenish or yellow mucus; bloody sputum on occasion, fever with shaking chills, sharp or stabbing chest pain that gets worse with deep breathing or coughing, rapid, shallow breathing, and shortness of breath. Other symptoms include headache; excessive sweating and clammy skin; loss of appetite; excessive fatigue; and confusion, especially in the elderly. Treatment of pneumonia depends on whether the cause is related to bacteria or a virus. If the cause is bacterial, the goal is to cure the infection with antibiotics. If the cause is viral, antibiotics will NOT be effective, but sometimes antiviral medication may be prescribed. It can sometimes be difficult to tell the difference between viral and bacterial pneumonia, so antibiotics are often prescribed. Many people can be treated with antibiotics at home. When at home, be sure to follow these steps: drink plenty of fluids to help loosen your chest congestion and bring up phlegm; get lots of rest; control your fever with aspirin or acetaminophen but DO NOT give aspirin to children. If you have an underlying chronic disease, severe symptoms, or low oxygen levels, you will likely require hospitalization for intravenous antibiotics and oxygen therapy. Infants and the elderly are more commonly admitted for treatment of pneumonia. When in the hospital, respiratory treatments may be necessary. Occasionally, steroid medications may be used to decrease wheezing if there is an underlying lung disease such as asthma. I hope this helps you understand pneumonia and how it's treated. If you have any questions at all, talk to a CVS pharmacist or MinuteClinic nurse practitioner. We're here to help. Source: CVS Caremark Health Resources

EAT GINGER For Amazing HEALTH BENEFITS! INCREDIBLE Benefits of GINGER EFFECTS To Dangerous Diseases!

14:45
6 Amazing HEALTH BENEFITS of EATING GINGER! Stay Away DISEASES with INCREDIBLE Benefits of GINGER If you want to talk about superfoods, you need to know about ginger. Yes, that sometimes weird looking, smelly stump thing you see piled up in baskets at the market is actually an amazing addition to your healthy living plan. This exotic food is spicy, but not hot, and fragrant without tasting like floral perfume. This all around wonder spice was once viewed by Chinese and Indian healers as a gift from the gods. So if you only know ginger as wasabi’s best friend, accompanying your sushi boat, you don’t know what you’re missing. Today I want to share some amazing health benefits of ginger with you, and I hope they may inspire you to give this weird little rhizome a chance. But first, what the heck is that dirty root thing anyway? What is Ginger? Ginger originated in southern parts of China before it was traded throughout Asia, India, Africa, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. This is why you’ll typically find recipes using ginger in these spice loving cuisines. The ginger we all eat doesn’t come from the root of the plant, but actually the rhizome, which is part of the stem that grows horizontally underground. Ginger is sometimes called ‘ginger root’ only because it grows underground, but roots actually grow vertically. This is why ginger sometimes looks like it was just uprooted from the dirt. Ginger roots have thin or thick skins, depending on their level of maturity when they were harvested. You should check these out when you buy your ginger to make sure they look healthy and mold-free, and peel the skin off before you use it. Young ginger roots are very juicy, yet mild. You can enjoy young ginger pickled (like when you eat sushi) or steep it in tea to make ginger tea. However, mature ginger roots are fibrous and dry; they make excellent candidates for fresh grated ginger, used as a spice to zest your best dishes and stir-frys. When the grated ginger is powder dry, you can use it in recipes like gingerbread cookies. So now that you know what ginger is, how about we get right into what makes it a superfood? The most widely known fact about ginger is that it’s a great natural remedy to combat nausea. Ginger May Reduce Nausea and Morning Sickness Ginger has long been touted for its effect on unhappy tummies. From motion sickness to morning sickness, you’ll likely find a ginger remedy online to help. When pregnant women have to deal with morning sickness, which can happen at any point in the day and not just in the AM, they have to fight off nausea and vomiting. Yuck! One study on this sweet smelling rhizome proved that taking ginger reduced the symptoms of nausea, but didn’t reduce the number of daily puke sessions. As tempting as that must sound to all you pregnant ladies, definitely speak with your doctor about adding ginger to your diet before you attempt this one. If you can’t fly by plane or step foot on a boat without your motion sickness pills, ginger may be just what you’re looking for. A study on seasickness tested 80 naval cadets who weren’t used to sailing in heavy seas. They gave the participants an anti-nausea medicine, a placebo, or ginger root, and checked on their levels of seasickness every four hours. Researchers not only discovered that “fewer symptoms of nausea and vertigo were reported after ginger root ingestion”, but “ginger root reduced the tendency to vomiting and cold sweating significantly better than [the] placebo did”. Further to this, an overall review of six separate studies aimed at discovering if ginger was as powerful as over-the-counter anti-nausea medicine, discovered that taking ginger was “superior to [taking a] placebo and equally effective” as the OTC remedy. That’s pretty awesome. You know I love it when natural foods work just as well as factory created pills that have unpleasant side effects. Ginger May Reduce Inflammation Ginger’s in the same family as turmeric, a spice thought to have anti-inflammatory benefits, so it’s no wonder that ginger shares the same ability. When you start losing cartilage between your joints due to arthritis or osteoarthritis, the bone-on-bone rubbing that occurs during walking just a few steps can seem unbearable. Many people suffering with arthritis feel trapped when they can’t move due to the unbearable pain and stiffness in their joints. Before going through surgery, many people turn to pain relieving drugs just to cope with daily life. A trial of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee received ginger extracts twice a day for six weeks in place of their pain medication. They were allowed to use acetaminophen as a “rescue medication” if they were in dire pain. The great news is that researchers noticed that when patients took the ginger extract, they experienced a reduction in knee pain when standing and walking. Patients relied less on the acetaminophen when consuming the ginger

The Facts About Marijuana

03:47
Incase you didn't know, society has brainwashed all of you into thinking Marijuana is a drug, when it's not. Yes, it alters you. No, it's not a drug. Loratab, Xanax, Soma's, Aspirin, Tylenol, those are drugs, and drugs can KILL you. If you take more then 10 Tylenol, you are a goner. If you take more then 5 loratab, your a dumbass AND a goner. Incase you havn't noticed, Marijuana GROWS. Nothing is DONE to it. It simply grows, just like a tomato, and an apple. It grows. Have you ever heard of someone overdosing on it? No? I didn't think so. Let me, also, give you the scientific comparison of Marijuana to other things. Marijuana compared to a beer: One beer is equal to 35 grams smoked of Indica, or "Chronic" or "Funk" or "Kush" whatever you want to call it. 68 Grams of Sativa, or "regs" or "reggie" or "schwagg". You can go research that if you want too, because I have multiple times. Marijuana is also not addicting at all, it's more than 100 times healthier than a beer. It's also a lot safer than smoking cigarettes. Marijuana does nothing harmful to your body, it's not like a cigarette. When you smoke it, nothing sticks to your lungs. I used to think that Resin did, but I researched it, and Resin, or the residue that marijuana smoke leaves behind, can't stick to our lungs because of what they are made of. It's not strong enough. Tar in cigarettes, however, is. Marijuana isn't a drug. If you think it is, you have successfully been brainwashed by the government, congratulations.

Pneumonia: Meaning and Symptoms

02:33
Pneumonia: Meaning and Symptoms What is pneumonia? Pneumonia is an infection in one or both lungs. It can be caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi. Bacterial pneumonia is the most common type in adults. Pneumonia causes inflammation in the air sacs in your lungs, which are called alveoli. The alveoli fill with fluid or pus, making it difficult to breathe. Read on to learn more about pneumonia and how to treat it. Symptoms What are the symptoms of pneumonia? Pneumonia symptoms can be mild to life-threatening. The most common symptoms of pneumonia can include: coughing that may produce phlegm (mucus) fever, sweating, and chills shortness of breath chest pain Other symptoms can vary according to the cause and severity of the infection, as well as the age and general health of the individual. Symptoms by cause Viral pneumonia may start with flu-like symptoms, such as wheezing. A high fever may occur after 12–36 hours. Bacterial pneumonia may cause a fever as high as 105°F along with profuse sweating, bluish lips and nails, and confusion. Symptoms by age Children under 5 years of age may have fast breathing. Infants may vomit, lack energy, or have trouble drinking or eating. Older people may have a lower-than-normal body temperature. Is pneumonia contagious? Most kinds of pneumonia are contagious. Both viral and bacterial pneumonia can spread to others through inhalation of airborne droplets from a sneeze or cough. But while you can become infected with fungal pneumonia from the environment, it doesn’t spread from person to person. Risk factors Who is at risk of pneumonia? Anyone can get pneumonia, but certain people are at higher risk: infants from birth to age 2 years, and individuals ages 65 years or older people who have had a stroke, have problems swallowing, or are bedridden people with weakened immune systems because of disease or use of medications such as steroids or certain cancer drugs people who smoke, misuse certain types of illicit drugs, or drink excessive amounts of alcohol people with certain chronic medical conditions such as asthma, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, or heart failure How is pneumonia diagnosed? Your doctor will start by asking you questions about when your symptoms first appeared and about your medical history. They’ll also give you a physical exam. This will include listening to your lungs with a stethoscope for any abnormal sounds, such as crackling. Your doctor will also likely order a chest X-ray. Typically, pneumonia can be diagnosed with the physical exam and the chest X-ray. But depending on the severity of your symptoms and your risk of complications, your doctor may also order one or more of these tests: A blood test. This test can confirm an infection, but it may not be able to identify what’s causing it. A sputum test. This test can provide a sample from your lungs that may identify the cause of the infection. Pulse oximetry. An oxygen sensor placed on one of your fingers can indicate whether your lungs are moving enough oxygen through your bloodstream. A urine test. This test can identify the bacteria Streptococcus pneumoniae and Legionella pneumophila. A CT scan. This test provides a clearer and more detailed picture of your lungs. A fluid sample. If your doctor suspects there is fluid in the pleural space of your chest, they may take fluid using a needle placed between your ribs. This test can help identify the cause of your infection. A bronchoscopy. This test looks into the airways in your lungs. It does this using a camera on the end of a flexible tube that’s gently guided down your throat and into your lungs. Your doctor may do this test if your initial symptoms are severe, or if you’re hospitalized and your body is not responding well to antibiotics. How is pneumonia treated? Your treatment will depend on the type of pneumonia you have, how severe it is, and your general health. Prescribed treatment Antibiotic, antiviral, and antifungal drugs are used to treat pneumonia, depending on the specific cause of the condition. Most cases of bacterial pneumonia can be treated at home with oral antibiotics, and most people respond to the antibiotics in one to three days. Your doctor may also recommend over-the-counter (OTC) medication to relieve your pain and fever, as needed. These may include aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), and acetaminophen (Tylenol). Your doctor may also recommend cough medicine to calm your cough so you can rest. However, coughing helps remove fluid from your lungs, so you don’t want to eliminate it entirely. Home treatment

9 Ways to Handle Emergency Situations Quickly and Effectively

08:22
Which life-saving skills should everyone know? How to save someone's life in a critical situation? Did you know that hydrogen peroxide and iodine could be dangerous for you? Here are several of the most widely spread mistakes people make when performing first aid. TIMESTAMPS Putting a spoon into the mouth of a person having a seizure 0:35 Cardiac compressions can lead to lung damage 1:24 Paracetamol may lead to liver issues 2:15 Throwing back your head or lie on your back with a nosebleed 2:57 Pulling a road accident victim from the car 3:46 Taking vomit-inducing drugs in case of severe poisoning 4:18 Applying a tourniquet to stop bleeding 5:05 Curing wounds with hydrogen peroxide and iodine can be dangerous 5:44 If you’re bitten by a snake or a venomous insect, don’t suck out the venom 6:24 SUMMARY - When in a fit, a person can swallow or choke on an object placed in their mouth to protect the tongue. A person may start shaking uncontrollably and even go purple, but seizures are self-limiting, and the body is incapable of doing much harm to itself. - Cardiac compressions can easily result in broken ribs, which may severely damage the lungs and heart. You should only do cardiac compressions if you’re sure the person has no pulse, isn’t breathing, and there’s no doctor around. - Paracetamol, or acetaminophen, relieves pain and inflammation, and it is a part of many modern drugs. Keep in mind that its overdose may cause liver and kidney failure. - If you do this, the blood pressure in your head rises. You can’t know how bad the bleeding episode is, so the blood can get into your lungs or cause vomiting. To do it right, hold your head upright to reduce pressure, apply a cold pack, and then close either nostril with your finger for 15 minutes. - If a person is injured with a risk of head, neck, or spine trauma (for example, they don’t feel their limbs, but there’s no blood), call an ambulance. Also, watch the victim’s breathing until the doctors arrive. - Emetic drugs can cause an esophageal burn and make way for poisoned vomit into the lungs. In a suspected poisoning, call an ambulance, describe the symptoms and a probable source of poisoning, and write down the prescribed actions. - An incorrectly applied tourniquet may result in excess limb pressure and can lead to amputation. It doesn’t stop the bleeding but prevents blood circulation which leads to necrosis. To do it right, apply a large amount of sterile gauze or clean cloth to the wound and press tightly — this should be enough until the ambulance arrives. - Peroxide destroys connective tissue cells, preventing the wound from healing. Iodine and alcohol burn healthy cells and can induce pain, shock, and burns if applied to a wound. - The venom mixes with your saliva and makes itself a new target of your mucous membrane. This will accelerate the poisoning and can result in lung edema and heart failure. The overlooked mass murderer: COPD, and how to stop it

02:41
ScreenCOPD is a project that depends largely on voluntary contributions from people like you. The goal of the project is to develop and make available to patients an early diagnostic method of COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). COPD is a very serious lung disease which kills about the same number of people as all cancers combined. COPD develops in latency and by the time the symptoms manifest themselves it is usually too late. COPD has no cure, but treatment and lifestyle changes can slow or stop the progress of the disease. This is why early detection of COPD would be so important. An early diagnostic method for COPD could save thousands of lives every year. The main driving force of the project are Krisztián Szigeti and Szabolcs Osváth, both faculty at the Semmelweis University, Budapest, Europe. Please join our fight against COPD, support our mission and promote lung health! facebook.com/screen.copd, twitter.com/ScreenCOPD screencopd.com

CODEINE VS MORFINE VS TRAMADOL VS HYDROCODONE VS FENTANYL VS OXYCODONE VS TYLENOL VS BUPREMORPHINE

15:53
Click http://www.alu-rough.com to get SCN-doctor. Codeine can be bought in UK over-the-counter as a drug named co-codamol, which normally contains 500mg of paracetamol and 8mg of codeine phosphate. It's for acute pain, lasting no more than 3 days. I have a chronic pain, so I'm forced to overdose pills, because no drug can help me, except codeine .. I tried paracetamol tablets alone, with no results at all, so it seems like 8 is better than 500. Codeine can bring happiness to folks, because it converts to morphine. In many countries, codeine syrup drink prevails on the streets. Tennis also makes me happy, so when I got my results in psychoacoustics, I decided to fight codeine, because I was afraid of side effects and addiction of this painkiller, and now when I'm listening to SCN-doctor, I don't have to overdose codeine anymore. I don't need WADA prohibitef drugs to enhance my tennis, because I have the sound of SCN-doctor. This stimulant has been produced by Robert Swayze to boost performance in tennis and other sports. Depending on your sound system and atmospheric pressure, the effect might be stronger than expected, like pain relief, accelerated healing or taste of food improvement. Greater benefit of codeine may occur when combined with SCN-doctor, tylenol, naproxen, indomethacin, diclofenac, paracetamol (acetaminophen) or a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) such as aspirin or ibuprofen. It is generally taken by mouth. It typically starts working after half an hour. The total duration of its effects last for about four to six hours. Codeine should be used only by the person for whom it was given prescription. Codeine is used to treat mild to moderately severe pain. There is weak evidence that it is useful in cancer pain. It is also used to treat diarrhoea. Signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Signs of overdose: noisy breathing, sighing, slow breathing with long pauses between breaths; being unusually sleepy or hard to wake up; blue colored lips. Serious side effects are such as: slow heart rate, weak pulse, fainting, shallow breathing; feeling like you might pass out; confusion, agitation, hallucinations, unusual thoughts or behavior; extreme happiness or sadness; seizure, convultion, orproblems with urination. Less serious side effects include: feeling dizzy or drowsy; nausea, vomiting, stomach pain; constipation; sweating; or mild itching or rash. Dangerous side effects or death can occur when alcohol is combined with a narcotic or opioid pain medicine. Don't give codeine to children under 12 years old. Codeine is not suitable for some people who: had an allergic reaction to codeine or any other medicines in the past, a lung problem, a head injury, adrenal gland problems, adrenal gland problems, an illness which causes seizures, an addiction to alcohol, an underactive thyroid gland, kidney or liver problems, gallstones, an enlarged prostate, low blood pressure, myasthenia gravis (a rare illness that causes muscle weakness). Withdrawal symptoms may occur if a person suddenly stops the medication. Withdrawal symptoms include: drug craving, runny nose, yawning, sweating, insomnia, weakness, stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle spasms, chills, irritability, and pain. To minimize withdrawal symptoms, long-term users should gradually reduce their codeine medication. CODEINE VS MORFINE, TRAMADOL, HYDROCODONE, FENTANYL, OXYCODONE, TYLENOL, BUPREMORPHINE. The conversion of codeine to morphine occurs in the liver and is catalyzed by the cytochrome P450 enzyme CYP2D6. CYP2D6 converts codeine into morphine, which then undergoes glucuronidation. Codeine, or 3-methylmorphine, is an alkaloid found in the opium poppy, Papaver somniferum var. album, a plant in the papaveraceae family. Codeine methylbromide (Eucodin) is the bromomethane (methylbromide) salt of codeine. Its possession is prohibited. Low doses of codeine are found in Panadeine, Nurofen Plus and Codral.
