A Duluth woman says a popular antibiotic killed her husband. Beware of ALL fluoroquinolone antibiotics including Levaquin, Cipro & Avelox! As little as one pill can cripple a formally healthy, active individual for life. Doctors largely deny this fact while the FDA chooses to look the other way. Don't let it happen to you!

It is my opinion only, that the damage these antibiotics are causing to people's bodies may be partially or fully due to the drug's destruction of crucially important healthy forms of bacteria in the gut. This, along with leaky gut which I believe is epidemic, may cause both a fungal version of yeast called candida to breach the barrier in the gut, and give the immune system a particularly difficult time managing it, as well as oxalate to also permeate the entire body causing a potential double-whammy that if addressed, may reverse the condition. Lots to be pissed off about with this situation. But one biggie is in how people are being told this condition is permanent. Although I believe it can be difficult to reverse, I believe it is entirely possible if approached from the above theoretical standpoint. That is how I approached it, and have had tremendous results. See my programs as well as the free info over at http://MaintenanceMotions.com. If you have some organic expeller-pressed coconut oil...or oil of your choice according to options available via Ayurvedic tradition...I'd give oil pulling a try, sticking with it for a solid few months. I have found it to be incredibly effective for joint/tendon issues, with dietary change, gut health with probiotics, and candida management to offer profound improvements. I need to consistently maintain the effort, but it's a part of my lifestyle regardless. Then I added some high quality ubiquinol to assist with mitochondrial damage, and energy production. http://FacelessFatloss.com My Over 40 program: http://Over40andRipped.com And Facebook: http://facebook.com/tim.ripped Love, Happiness, Health and Peace.........Tim .

Levofloxacin comes in 250, 500 and 750 mg tables; 25 mg/mL oral solution. Levofloxacin is an antibiotic most commonly used to treat bacterial infections. No matter what your doctor has you taking it for, levofloxacin is usually taken by mouth with or without food most commonly once a day. Do not take this drug with dairy products, like milk or yogurt, or calcium rich juices. Take levofloxacin at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after antacids, sucarlfate, quinapril, bismuth, multivitamins, or any other products that contain magnesium, calcium, aluminum, iron, or zinc. If upset stomach occurs take levofloxacin with food. If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your normal dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Some common side effects with levofloxacin include headache, upset stomach, diarrhea and sun burning more easily. Some less common side effects with levofloxacin include ringing in the ears, tendon rupture (greater in people over the age of 60), nerve problems and nervous system problems. (Flash on screen this is not a complete list of side effects) Do not take levofloxacin if: you have myasthenia gravis. While taking levofloxacin, remember it is important to tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have: • Signs of an allergic reaction (rash, itching, swelling, tightness of the chest, etc.) • An allergy to levofloxacin. • If you pain, bruising, or swelling in the back of the ankle, shoulder, hand, or other joints. • If you are unable to move or bear weight on a joint, hear or feel a snap or pop. • If you develop nerve problems such as not being able to handle heat or cold, changes in sense of touch, burning, numbness, tingling, pain or weakness in the arms, heads, legs or feet. • If you develop nervous system problems such as anxiety, bad dreams, trouble sleeping, changes in eyesight, dizziness, feeling confused, nervous, agitated, restless or experience hallucinations. • If you develop a rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath; wheezing; cough; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; or any other signs that could be signs of an allergic reaction. • If your symptoms do not get better or if they worsen, call your doctor. All forms of levofloxacin including the liquid needs to be stored at room temperature in a dry place. Use the measuring device received from the pharmacist or doctor for the oral solution. Thank you for watching and remember to tell your doctor and pharmacist about your health problems, all drugs including over the counter drugs, natural products, and vitamins for your safety before starting a new drug. Do not stop, start, or change the dose of any drug without checking with your doctor.

Website link: http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2015/04/07/local-doctors-explain-risks-of-taking-levaquin/ Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CBSPittsburgh April 7, 2015 5:45 PM on CBS Pittsburgh PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Some swear by them, others say they’re dangerous – if not deadly. KDKA-TV health editor Dr. Maria Simbra explains why some are calling for a closer look at a certain group of antibiotics. From time-to-time, Janice Olszewski’s mother, Mary, needs to take antibiotics for urinary tract infections. “She gets very weak, she gets sick. Sometimes, she’ll get disoriented,” Olszewski said. Her doctor prescribed a medicine called Levaquin. “He said it would help clear the infection, and we should get fairly quick results with it. It’s been a Godsend for us,” Olszewski said. “If it wouldn’t be for Levaquin, we’d have a hard time managing her health care. “I’d say 20-30 times a year, we give a prescription for levofloxacin,” Dr. Marc Itskowitz of Allegheny General Hospital’s Internal Medicine said. “We try to reserve it for patients who need a broader spectrum antibiotic, may have been exposed to other antibiotics and are still sick. It’s very effective in those patients.” Taking it by mouth works the same as taking it by IV. It also comes in an easy-to-swallow liquid. While it kept Janice’s mother out of the hospital, not everyone has had a good experience. Karen Paddock was taking out the garbage when she cut her leg on a broken dish in the trash bag. She got stitches, followed by infection of the skin – cellulitis. “At that point, they gave her the Levaquin antibiotics for the cellulitis,” Bob Paddock said. Six months later, she developed tendon troubles and couldn’t walk. “It was in 2003, and at that point, I’m not sure all the risks that are known today were known then,” Paddock said. After ten years of using a scooter around the house in chronic pain, at age 43, she committed suicide – four days shy of her 20th wedding anniversary. Her husband has strong hopes for all similar antibiotics. “That they either get taken off the market, or they get a whole lot harder for anybody to prescribe,” he said. Levaquin, generically known as levofloxacin, is in a class of drugs called fluoroquinolones. They work by attacking bacterial DNA, making the bacteria unable to multiply. Known risks include nerve problems and tendon rupture. Fluoroquinolones are not recommended for people taking steroids, people with a history of seizures, and people with certain heart rhythm abnormalities. Pharmaceutical watchdog Dr. Charles Bennett is trying to expand the warnings by bringing a citizen’s petition to the FDA. “I’ve been doing this work so long, that I think patients find me,” Dr. Bennett said. His focus is the rare complication of mitochondrial toxicity. You can think of mitochondria as your cells’ battery packs. Without them, your cells have no energy. He said if an event happens right after the medicine is given, that would be a reaction. He also has lab researchers who have been able to recreate symptoms in mice. “There’s a little bit of an art, rather than a science. There’s not a specific diagnostic test,” he said. He would like to expand the black box warning on Levaquin, or establish a process so that patients must sign that they understand the risks of the drug. “This would make Levaquin a little bit less attractive to use if it goes through as a black box warning,” Dr. Amesh Adalja, of the UPMC Center for Health Securit, said. This infectious disease specialist said the class of antibiotics does have a role to play, but shouldn’t be prescribed automatically. “Even if you’re prescribing penicillin, it’s something you have to do with each infection that you treat. You have to make sure is this the right bug that you’re treating, and is this the right drug that you’re using,” Dr. Adalja said. “For every patient that has been harmed by a medication, there are thousands that have been helped by it. And we don’t often hear from them,” Dr. Itskowitz said. “She’s had adverse reactions in the past to numerous drugs, so we’re always very alert to those types of reactions. And we felt the risks were minimal,” Olszewski said. Hearing from Olszewski, she’s thankful her mother had the option of Levaquin. “Within a couple of days, she starts to feel better,” she said.

NBC Charlotte 6:09 a.m. EST February 25, 2015 http://www.wcnc.com/story/news/health/2015/02/24/devastating-side-effects-prompt-local-push-to-ban-antibiotic/23977183/ It is a commonly prescribed antibiotic-- doctors offer it for everything from urinary tract infections to sinus infections. But a local mom is pushing to get Levaquin off the shelves after she suffered devastating side effects. And a drug watchdog group is pushing the FDA for tougher warning labels. Shannon Myers is trying to slyly wrap his Valentine's day gift for wife Adrienne. The two are very much in love and very much a team– no matter what. "Every day you push through it, you push through it because you have to," Adrienne says. Adrienne endures grueling physical therapy several times a week; the 36-year-old mother of two struggles to walk. "It's very painful for me, just because my Achilles hurts really bad, so in order for me to not lose strength in my legs, I have to do this. I just have to bear the pain." It started last summer. Adrienne was diagnosed with a sinus infection; doctors prescribed Levaquin, the brand name for a drug called Levofloaxacin. A few days into the prescription she says, "I started having issues with my legs-- my legs hurt, they burn, felt like I walked up hill all day, my feet hurt, I had problems with my eyes, my vision started becoming kind of blurred." It took three months and four doctors to come up with a diagnosis. Dr. Ki Jung, Adrienne's neurologist, says the Levaquin caused tendinopathy and peripheral neuropathy. He says he helped rule other things out and worked on a timeline to figure out what happened. Jung says, "I told Adrienne, let's put a timeline to this and see where we are and then see if we can tease out any correlations; that's really where we were able to get to the notion that this was a Levaquin problem." "So basically the drug attacked her nerves and tendons?" "Correct, in terms of a side effect profile." Adrienne was shocked. "He said unfortunately you have nerve damage from taking Levaquin." Dr. Charles Bennett chairs a drug watchdog agency at the University of South Carolina. He was not at all surprised to hear Adrienne's story. "I'm not surprised. I've been working on this for years. This woman is a story that's replicated in city after city, case after case." He recently petitioned the FDA for new, what's called black box warnings for Levaquin, those are bold warnings meant to grab your attention. The FDA already required black box warnings in 2008, warning of possible tendon rupture and muscle weakness. And in 2013 the FDA required a label change warning of nerve damage. Bennett says the FDA's own stats show 1200 people have died and nearly 100,000 have suffered side effects from Levaquin or Levofloaxcin. "Thankfully it's not life threatening for me. I'm very fortunate that it has not been a life threatening thing for me, so I think about the positive and hopefully my nerves will regenerate themselves and become healthy again," Adrienne says. Her husband Shannon just wishes he could take away her pain. "It makes you wish, just like anybody you love, you could go back and do something about it. Like wish you had more time, researched more, maybe take it off her shoulders a little bit and put it on yours." NBC Charlotte reached out to Levaquin for a statement. They responded Tuesday evening: "LEVAQUIN® (levofloxacin) Tablets is part of an important class of anti-infective prescription medications that have been used for more than 20 years to treat infections, including those that may be serious or life threatening. When used according to the product labeling, LEVAQUIN® has been proven to have a favorable benefit-risk profile." The best advice: ask your doctor and your pharmacist to go over the possible side effects of this drug-- or any other for that matter, and if you have concerns, ask for an alternative.

Levaquin Side Effects exist and persist for very specific reasons. Yes you took a pill or IV dose, and you quickly had negative side effects. That makes sense to people. But then levaquin symptoms can last for months, years, decades, a lifetime, and rarely will you find a good explanation for that. But there is no mystery to either the immediate side effects of levaquin nor the long lasting (and progressively worsening) symptoms of levaquin even when Levaquin has long been out of the body. When you speak to your doctor and don't get any good answers or solutions, it's time to educate yourself. What causes side effects of levofloxacin, levaquin, avelox, cipro, ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin, etc? Why do levaquin symptoms last so long (months to forever). How do you get rid of symptoms from levaquin? Find out more at https://www.TendonitisExpert.com/levaquin-side-effects.html

DNA damage from Fluoroquinolone Antibiotics after only 3.61 minutes (in vitro)! A global problem? https://www.facebook.com/Fluoroquinolone-Toxicity-Study-NFP-144478016244899/?ref=bookmarks https://fq100.org Out of desperation and complete exhaustion from continuing discrepancies with powerful pharmaceutical lobbyists and their connections, our Foundation has chosen online media to reveal test results of our personal DNA study in hope to spread the warning on severe, often irreversible, side effects due to antibiotic drugs people are prescribed daily. This warning is for genomic and mitochondrial (your cell powerhouse) DNA damage from the Fluoroquinolone (FQ) antibiotics family. The most popular are Ciprofloxacin (Cipro), Levofloxacin (Levaquin) and Moxifloxacin (Avelox). These antibiotics have been on the market for over 30 years and prescribed to millions worldwide as well as found in fertilizer, animal and fish farming, veterinary clinics and given in surgery IV’s. All FQ associated scientific publications since the 1980’s relating to the following topics have been largely ignored by government agencies thus far: DNA, mitochondrial and nerve damage, psychiatric disorders, reproductive malfunction, chromosomal abnormality, collagen destruction, aneurysms, multi organ failure, retinal detachment, cell toxicity, genetic damage, muscle atrophy, metabolic dysfunction, etc. In May 2014, a group of victim activists presented laboratory results indicating FQ DNA damage to government officials and the Senate Health Committee in Washington. We had great hope that those test results would be forwarded to the appropriate government agencies to take further steps to stop the widespread usage of these antibiotics; no such gesture was made. For two decades up until the end of his life, Dr. Jay S. Cohen warned colleagues and the public about psychological and neurological damage from FQ drugs. He sent multiple petitions to Congress and the Senate to no avail. Dr. Charles Bennett spent years studying hundreds of patients with FQ toxicity. His petition about possible mitochondrial damage was denied by the FDA. In 2016, hundreds of FQ related science publications and test results demonstrating FQ DNA damage were sent to an attorney representing one of the Fluoroquinolone manufacturers. No response was ever received. In 2017, a larger group of FQ victims were tested by mass spectrometry* (analytical technique) for nuclear and mitochondrial DNA adducts (DNA bonded to a chemical). The study tested for Ciprofloxacin and Levofloxacin. Out of the numerous test results we had patient permission to access on these two drugs, all showed genomic (nuclear) and mitochondrial DNA FQ adducts. DNA damage was also detectable decades after the original exposure and by single or multiple oral doses, IV or ear drop forms. Furthermore, the lab performed an in vitro (test tube) test and DNA damage appeared in just 3.61 minutes after antibiotic introduction. DNA adducts are considered abnormal, thus preventing healthy cellular and mitochondria replication! We are asking for people to spread the information contained here and in our video, as well as urge the use of these antibiotics in life or death situations only. The Foundation is appealing to medical and science groups to help with further research and independent studies directed towards finding a treatment on a cellular level. We are requesting serious government action to hold the responsible entities accountable for the millions of people suffering decades due to these drugs. As Americans, we believe in democracy and a government that works to protect and serve the citizens as well as heavily monitor pharmaceutical companies. Please watch this important video on side effects, DNA test results and victim photos. If you feel you have experienced serious drug repercussions, please file a complaint with the FDA and find online support with Facebook groups.

http://gacovinolake.com/avelox-cipro-levaquin-side-effects/ Three popular drugs -- Avelox, Cipro and Levaquin -- are super-heavyweights in the fight against serious bacterial diseases that plague humans. These powerful medications belong to a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. They are highly effective in fighting hospital-acquired infections that can be resilient to lower-grade antibiotics. Avelox, Cipro and Levaquin are extremely potent and have become a popular prescription for common ailments such as ear and sinus infections. These drugs are so popular that in 2010, Bayer’s Avelox and Cipro brought in $1 billion in sales while Johnson & Johnson’s Levaquin brought in 1.3 billion. The benefit to thousands of consumers comes at a very steep price. The powerful medications eliminate infection but leave many consumers with a terrible condition known as peripheral neuropathy. The Levaquin antibiotic, a member of the fluoroquinolone class of antibiotics (along with Cipro, Avelox, Levofloxacin, etc) attack a person's connective tissue structures and can even cause DNA damage. If you are suffering from Levaquin side effects, you MUST educate yourself about how Levaquin works and how to give your body it's best chance at being able to recover.

Never take the antibiotic Levaquin (especially if you have chronic lyme disease) unless it's life/death. I took this antibiotic for 2 days and it has turned me into an invalid. I could walk 1-2 miles a day, do floor exercises, shower, clean my own home and now all of that freedom is gone. I have to use a walker and today I fell. It doesn't matter if you take this medication for 2 days, 1 week or 1 month, we are all different and this effects us all in different ways.

These Antibiotics Cause Nerve Damage And Lifelong Disability The Fluoroquinolones are a group of antibiotics that are usually prescribed for urinary tract infections and respiratory infections, but these antibiotic can cause serious nerve damage. These antibiotics were given to more than 23 million patients in 2011. Fluoroquinolones include: Ofloxacin (Floxin) Norfloxacin (Noroxin) Moxifloxacin (Avelox) Levofloxacin (Levaquin) Gemifloxacin(Factive) Ciprofloxacin (Cipro) The FDA required an update on the labels of these drugs, their side effects of peripheral neuropathy. Peripheral neuropathy This antibiotic kills the bacteria that cause the illness. But according to new research, the risks of these medications are more than the benefits of it. Peripheral neuropathy is when the nerves which send the information are damaged. This damage disables the connection. People with peripheral neuropathy can feel numbness, burning pain in the legs or the arms and tingling. These medications can cause long-lasting damage to the nerves and this can lead to disability. They can get into the blood-brain barrier and this leads to getting into the brain and damaging the central nervous system. In 2010 Levaquin was the most selling antibiotic and by 2011 had more than 2000 lawsuits from patients. SYMPTOMS AND SIDE EFFECTS You will feel the symptoms after only a few days, and you should contact medical help immediately. The symptoms are: Tingling Numbness Burning Weakness Rupture and tendon damage Shooting pains Confusion Muscle and joint pain Hallucinations NATURAL TREATMENT For sinus infection drink a lot of water and teas. You can prepare a natural remedy with lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. And for UTI you must also drink water and teas and take probiotics like kefir, yogurt, kombucha etc. Watch the video for more information.

ABC 10 News 6:12 AM, Nov 24, 2014 http://www.10news.com/news/investigations/patients-experts-popular-antibiotics-could-cause-permanent-damage-11242014 For Jenny Frank, it started with a small white pill she took nearly four years ago. "I was prescribed Levaquin for a strep infection," she said. "I can't compare myself to the person I was in December in 2010." Levaquin is one of the most commonly prescribed antibiotics on the market. Frank said it left her with persistent, painful and long-term side effects that affected her both physically and mentally. She recalls one moment as the scariest of her life. "About three weeks after I had stopped taking it, I started typing on the computer," Frank said. "When I looked at what I had written it wasn't even words." The science teacher said it was "gibberish." So, Frank deleted what she wrote and tried again. "Same thing… it was just random letters and numbers and things," she said. When asked what she was thinking, Frank said, "I can't even put a sentence together. Oh my god. Am I going to lose my job?" New warnings needed? Levaquin is in a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. It is one of the most potent antibiotics approved by the Food and Drug Administration and is prescribed millions of times a year. Experts said that most Americans will take Levaquin in their lifetime. Team 10's investigative partners at ABC 15 in Phoenix spoke to researchers and patients across the country who believe that Levaquin carries more serious side effects than are listed on the label. They have filed a pair of citizen petitions this year asking the FDA to add new warnings to the label for a long list of psychiatric side effects ranging from depression to hallucinations and also something called "mitochondrial toxicity." In simple terms, researchers say that means it could alter and damage the body's cells. Dr. Charles Bennett helped write the citizen petitions filed with the FDA. Bennett, who says he has successfully petitioned the FDA before, is with the South Carolina College of Pharmacy and the Southern Network on Adverse Reactions (SONAR). He said he has been analyzing the effects of Levaquin and other fluoroquinolones for three years. Bennett said thousands of people have reported psychiatric side effects to the FDA. He also pointed to a 2013 FDA review of six different fluoroquinoles, including Levaquin, that raised the possibility of mitochondrial toxicity. Team 10 has also learned that full studies are underway at UC San Diego and the University of Rochester to look into these side effects. Experts: Overuse leads to added risk Frank is part of the fight to add new warnings to the label. "There's no reason why anyone should have to go through this if there are safer antibiotics that could be used," she said. "This should be a last resort. Not a first line of defense." It is a feeling shared by Dr. Ray Woosley, founder of CredibleMeds and a medication safety expert. He believes Levaquin and other fluoroquinolones are overprescribed. "The FDA put out a call two years ago that says don't overuse these drugs, but they continue to be overused," Woosley said. "It's like the wild west out there." Here is an example: During the anthrax mail attacks in 2001, victims were prescribed the fluoroquinolone Ciprofloxacin. "They are very potent antibiotics," Woosley said. "We can't take them off the market. We have got to have them available for whom they are lifesaving." But Woosley said that is also why these antibiotics should not be prescribed for things like sinus infections or prostatitis, like Tony Woods. Woods was prescribed Ciprofloxacin for a possible prostate infection two years ago. "There was no evidence I had an infection," said Woods, "He just wanted to treat me for what he thought was an infection." Woods took the pills for 19 days. "I started having extreme burning in my limbs, sensitivity to light, my eyes, my hearing, everything just felt rearranged," he said. "I couldn't smell or taste." The father of four was bedridden for months. "It's horrible," Woods said. "You go to bed thinking you are going to die … who's going to provide for my family?" Woods' attorney, John Fiske, said his firm, John Gomez Trial Attorneys, has been getting hundreds of calls a week from people who have taken these drugs. Fiske said the maker of Levaquin, Johnson & Johnson, faces a product liability lawsuit over side effects of the drug that allegedly caused peripheral neuropathy for one woman. The complaint was filed in August in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Fiske expects more to be filed against the makers of these drugs. "These are some of the most widely prescribed drugs in the world," said Fiske.

Levaquin Tendonitis is not the same thing as 'regular' tendonitis. Fluoroquinolones like levaquin, levofloxacin, cipro, ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin, avelox, moxifloxacin, etc, cause all sort of symptoms including tendon pain, muscle pain, muscle weakness, muscle spasms/twitches/cramps, joint pain, symptoms that look/feel like regular tendonitis symptoms. But tendonitis from Levaquin is an entirely different animal than regular tendinitis. Fluoroquinolone toxicity is one result. Nutritional depletion is another. Mitochondrial damage and DNA damage or worse results. If you took levaquin or cipro and have tendonitis symptoms, you also have nutritional depletion (definitely) and quite possibly also have connective tissue mitochondria damage, and worse than that, connective tissue DNA damage. Also, if you have tendon pain (your tendon is affected), you MAY also have damage to connective tissue around any other joint(s) in the body, to the connective tissue in/around organs (including the brain), and possibly to the connective tissue around nerves. Levaquin tendonitis is bad news, and isn't really tendonitis. Find out more at https://www.TendonitisExpert.com/levaquin-tendonitis.html

Which antibiotic should you try to avoid taking, if possible…next Side effects of fluoroquinolones far more disabling than other antibiotics, experts say Idelle Davidson writing in the Washington Post reported on the side effects of fluoroquinolones, noting that levofloxacin ranked third “in the number of serious adverse event reports submitted directly to the Food and Drug Administration in 2013,” while ciprofloxacin, another fluoroquinolone, ranked fifth, according to the Institute for Safe Medication Practices. Experts say that fluoroquinolones “can be far more disabling than other antibiotics” because of the life-altering nature of their side effects, which include tendon rupture, disabling peripheral neuropathy or permanent nerve damage to the arms and legs, eye disorders, psychiatric and nervous system disorders, seizures, ringing in the ears, and burning and tingling sensations. Comment: I have seen a number of tendon issues associated with these fluoroquinolone antibiotics.

https://www.TendonitisExpert.com/what-is-levaquin-used-for.html What is Levaquin used for? Way too many 'health issues' it shouldn't be. A doctor prescribing Levaquin for acne??? Really? Doctors that do that should have their licenses revoked. Levaquin is a highly powerful antibiotic with SIGNIFICANT side effects. If a bacterial illness is a life or death threat, then it's a risk that must be taken. But for acne? The risks are not worth the possible benefit. Muscle pain and dysfunction tendon damage, joint damage, organ damage, mental issues, these are all some of the possible and mild to severe side effects. Don't want your achilles tendon falling apart? Then you may want to seriously consider your decision to take Levaquin or not. (Also, make sure you have a bacterial infection before you let your doctor prescribe you this super powerful and dangerous antibiotic.)

To clarify a few things stated in this story: First off, there is NO CURE for Cipro and Levaquin-induced side effects! They do not respond to traditional therapies as an overuse or sports injury would. This is a chemical injury we're talking about here. It is important to note that the FDA ONLY added the black box warning to these drugs after they were sued by watchdog group Public Citizen! They did not do this out of the kindness of their own hearts or because it was the moral & ethical thing to do (or what their agency is SUPPOSED to be doing--protecting the people!!!). Lastly, most doctors prescribe this harmful class of antibiotic without ever even trying a safer alternative first. It has been found that over 80% of the time, Cipro is prescribed inappropriately or unnecessarily! This obviously puts a great number of innocent lives at needless risk of losing absolutely everything. *Had to mirror this video in order to keep it from being taken down. The message is too important not to be heard.

Fluoroquinolone antibiotics (Cipro, Levaquin, Avelox and a few others) are a horrifically destructive class of poisons marketed to the public as antibiotics by Bayer and Johnson & Johnson. They are capable of massive harm, disabling unsuspecting patients for life with as little as a few pills. Previously healthy and active individuals become bedridden, wheelchair-bound or requiring crutches or walkers--sometimes for life. Doctors will not tell you this, nor will pharmacists! DO YOUR RESEARCH! The FDA is not protecting us! Already harmed by Cipro or Avelox? Please email Bayer's CEO Phil Blake directly: philip.blake at bayer dot com or call him at his NJ office: 1-862-404-5018. This man needs to hear from his victims!

Learn more at: http://healingtheeye.com Levaquin and Serious Side Effects Mark Girard, co-editor of the Quinolone Vigilance Foundation, joins us today sharing his experiences with Levaquin and the risks it poses to our overall and eye health. Mark: “I was given Levaquin, the main fluoroquinolone antibiotic, five and a half years ago for a post-surgical infection in my ankle. I immediately had problems, like loss of bowel control. Within a couple of weeks, I had blood clots, spontaneous tendon ruptures and mysterious cartilage lesions that required a transplant of cartilage from a dead child. I had many other horrific things go wrong all at once. Of course, vision problems were one of them.” A Homeopathic Approach to Fluoroquinolone Side Effects One thing you should really consider is the homeopathic approach of treating the complications of these antibiotics. In the homeopathic literature, there are many remedies for individuals who have an adverse reaction to medicine. As a homeopathic doctor, Dr. Kondrot tell us that he often sees people who have had a bad reaction. It’s not particularly to the fluoroquinolones but to anesthesia and other toxins. Homeopathic treatment can act as a catalyst to strengthen the body. When you have a reaction like this, it affects many different parameters of your body. It’s not just one localized area. It’s your eye, joints, muscle pain, etc. It’s hard to find a specialist who will look at you as a person suffering from that reaction. Fluoroquinolones Effects on the Body Dr. Kondrot tells us that the human body has the ability to heal, but if there are toxins or some type of imbalance in your body that those antibiotics caused, you get rid of that. In homeopathy, we believe antibiotics are a no-no because they suppress disease. Antibiotics do not treat the disease. They treat the infections and bacterial problems. Really, it’s a weakness in the body that causes the bacterial infections, so you have to treat the underlying cause. Many times when people take an antibiotic based on homeopathic principles, the infection may improve, but somehow that process is pushed deeper into the body and they get a more serious problem. Floxies and Detoxing Dr. Kondrot tells us that he has found that toxicity in general affects the vitreous. If you have heavy metal poisons or any type of toxins in your body, it can show up in the vitreous as floaters, inflammation and a subtle barometer of some type of disturbance in your body. He recommends to Floxies, victims of fluoroquinolones, is to begin some type of detoxification program. There are methods to remove toxins from your body, whether it’s infrared sauna, IV chelation or Zeolite. There are so many different products out there to detoxify and purify the body of toxins. Please do not take fluoroquinolone antibiotics unless they are a last resort. Fluoroquinolones should never be prescribed as a first line antibiotic for minor infections, but this is a widespread practise. Physicians and pharmacists must be educated on the dangers of these drugs! Please note: I'm not advocating the use of marijuana for others, just sharing something that has helped me in the past to overcome the damaging emotional and psychological effects of Cipro. Marijuana should be used only in certain cases and for a limited amount of time, just until symptoms have cleared. Marijuana can also have damaging effects on the system (especially with long-term or daily use) and should be researched before trying. My point is that it is generally a safer form of medicine that pharmaceuticals and can be used in place of them if they are being used for things like sleeplessness, nausea, headaches, anxiety, etc. However, the best case scenario is that we do not need any medicines to be healthy and to feel good living on Planet Earth, including marijuana! :-) Correction: Fluoroquinolone antibiotics have been infused with fluorine, rather than fluoride. I believe it is all similar in chemical structure. I was poisoned by Cipro, produced by Bayer, in December 2009. These are some of the things that have helped me in my recovery process. 1-10-2018 Me taking copies of the fda updated warnings about Levaquin to my local doctors office. Spreading awareness! I apologize it's hard to hear me. I was having a tremor episode and finally decided it was time for my husband to record me. I took the medication in Sept 2017 for a sore throat and hoarseness. Little did I know that pill would cause more damage than I ever dreamed possible. Tremors are not my only side effects. It's just one of the biggest ones that people can actually see! This episode was mild compared to how bad they can be. According to the FDA-Levaquin and cipro should only be used when no other medication has worked and a patients life depends on it. I'm determined to spread awareness. Hopefully one day doctors will stop handing this out like it is ibuprofen or claritin!
