for more fresh sales strategies, visit http://www.jillkonrath.com TRANSCRIPT Hey! You’re already getting smarter. By now, you’ve discovered rapid learning requires you do to do things a whole lot differently from your normal ways. Shoot, your old high school teachers would really be impressed at how organized you are now. Now that you’ve completed your Chunking exercise, it’s time to move to a crucial next step – Sequencing. You can’t learn it all at once. You need to determine what’s essential to know now versus what can wait. If you’re learning something totally new, it’s likely that you don’t have the knowledge to answer that question. That’s where the experts come in. Remember those product launches I talked about in the previous video? In very short order, I discovered that my learning needed to start with a general overview of the product and target market. Then, I needed to throw myself into learning all about the primary decision makers – their needs, status quo, issues, challenges and objectives. Knowing this was crucial for me to figure out how to ramp up sales quickly. Here’s the deal. There’s always a sequence that works better than others. 1. When you’re learning LinkedIn, virtually every expert suggests that you start with your profile. It’s your home base, your online professional presence. Without a strong one, you’ll look like a loser when people Google you or pop on over to check you out on LinkedIn. 2. After that, the next thing you need to learn is how to research your prospects. 3. Then, connecting with colleagues and customers. And so it goes. You learn one part at a time. You figure it out. You work with it. And ultimately you internalize it. Then, you tackle the next thing. What you want to do is create an actual learning plan for mastering LinkedIn. One step at a time. Rapid learning can’t happen if you’re jumping around, dabbling in bits and pieces of the topic. It’s about a laser-sharp focus on one area – till you get it. Then, moving on. So let me summarize. So far, you’ve learned about Dumping, Chunking and Sequencing. After doing all this, we’ve now narrowed it down to just one area to master first – your LinkedIn profile. But again, we come up with the proverbial question: How do I do that? In our next episode, we’ll take a deep dive into what it takes to create a rock-solid LinkedIn profile.

Hideous monsters and fountains of blood might seem like a good place to start, but as horror author H.P. Evidence: Math Lesson Sequence A series of math lesson plans were developed during an SPE. Each lesson began with a fluency addition game, followed by carpet time and then an activity for independent or group learning. During this time, instructions were provided to students at several intervals. Directions had to be clear, concise and understood by students to ensure smooth transitions and limited impact on learning time. Organisation of materials was imperative to this process. Required resources were listed on each of my lesson plans and then prepared so they were on-hand before the lesson began. For example, in this video, I am giving students directions on what to do for the next part of their math lesson. Prior organisation included sourcing of MABs and place value charts from colleagues at the beginning of the day. To support clarity of directions, I used call and response, chorale reading, checking-in and PowerPoint slides to reinforce verbal directions. Each step was explicitly set out for students, including the amount of materials they needed. These considerations contributed towards an effective transition into the next activity with minimal impact on learning time.

Watch more How to Teach Your Child to Read videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/460479-How-to-Teach-the-Alphabet-Reading-Lessons Hi. my name is Anne Glass. I'm a reading and learning specialist at a private school in New York City and I work with Kindergarteners through 3rd graders on Reading, Word Study, and Writing Skills. In addition to be a reading specialist and learning specialist, I'm also a parent and today I'm going to talk to you about topics in reading Being able to name the letters in the alphabet is one of the critical predictors of reading success. There are several different activities that you can use to teach your child the alphabet. Most people like to start teaching using the alphabet song which is a completely acceptable way to start. In fact, most children in this country know that song; could sing it in their sleep, probably. That is a perfectly fine way to start as long as you move quickly away from singing the alphabet to saying it. Because if your child can say the alphabet without relying on a melody then you can be certain that he knows it for sure. I always like to use visual aids and I think that any teaching, when it can be multisensory, is going to be much more effective. If you can have your child say the alphabet, each letter at a time while pointing to it, they're getting that tactile feedback and also the auditory feedback from pronouncing the letter name, looking at the letter and touching it with his finger. Another really helpful manipulative are these 3D letters. These are mine and they're just regular block letters that you can do out of order or move around. So they can be easily manipulated. And again it's a letter identification task. Another great teaching tool I like to use is this alphabet mat. It's got the alphabet in block letters across the top as both a reminder and also a point and say task. And then you can also go back to your 3-dimensional letters and, as a separate or additional activity, put the letters in sequence going around the arc. So up here is my "M", I place the "M" on the "M". "A" and then "B" going all the way around. Knowledge of the sequence of the alphabet is also going to be really helpful to your child going forward. Simple flash cards are also a great tool. These are my upper-case flash cards and you just go one by one and ask your child to name the letter as you go through. For more advanced alphabet learners, this is called a missing letter deck. You are prompting the child with two letters to give you the third one that's missing. So in this case it's "D", "E" and your child will say "F". Go on to the next one: "F", "G"... "H". And so on. Again, knowledge of letter names is one of the most important predictors of how quickly and easily your child will acquire early reading skills. And it's important that letter names be taught explicitly and directly, starting in preschool.

Basic English Grammar lesson -- Verbs and Tenses -- Speak fluent English. What are verbs? The verb is king in English. The shortest sentence contains a verb. You can make a one-word sentence with a verb, for example: "Stop!" You cannot make a one-word sentence with any other type of word. Verbs are sometimes described as "action words". This is partly true. Many verbs give the idea of action, of "doing" something. For example, words like run, fight, do and work all convey action. But some verbs do not give the idea of action; they give the idea of existence, of state, of "being". For example, verbs like be, exist, seem and belong all convey state. What is a Tense? Tense is a method that we use in English to refer to time - past, present and future. Many languages use tenses to talk about time. Other languages have no tenses, but of course they can still talk about time, using different methods. So, we talk about time in English with tenses. But, and this is a very big but: • we can also talk about time without using tenses (for example, going to is a special construction to talk about the future, it is not a tense) • one tense does not always talk about one time (see Tense & Time for more about this)

How to do a facial: The full theoretical notes are available on http://makeup.school/training/how-to-do-a-facial/ It is essential to either go for a facial or do a facial at home every few weeks. Do a facial at least once a week at home if you can. A proper skin care regimen really makes a huge difference in the health of your skin. The first step in your facial is cleansing. Cleansing is necessary to remove makeup and dirt what clogs your pores. Exfoliation, also known as scrubbing, is performed to remove dead cells on the outer layer of your skin. Exfoliation is a crucial part when doing a facial. Facial masks don't have to be part of your everyday skin care routine but you should apply a mask when doing a facial. Masks puts back to natural minerals into your skin and leaves your face fresh and glowing. Toning is also part of performing your own facial or for someone else. The toner removes the excess cleanser that remains on the skin, it also balances the pH levels. Protecting our skin from the sun is something we don't always do. You should always apply a sunblock especially if you're planning to go outside. Even if you're just outside for an hour, apply an SPF 30 or higher which will keep the sunrays away. Moisturizing your skin and keeping it well hydrated is an important step to follow. It helps the skin to maintain its normal moisture balance, puts lost moisture back into your skin and it also helps create the perfect base for your foundation. The final step when doing a facial is to apply moisturizer. Apply the eye cream on the eye area and a normal moisturizer over your face. The will restore the moisture balance. It is also necessary to apply the moisturizer so that it can form the ideal base when applying your foundation. Watch the How to Do a Facial video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-27W_lNYrA

A very common question that we receive as chess coaches is what is the quickest way to win a game of chess? Now, everybody's idea of the game of chess, that's it's a very long, strategic, thought out game, but surprisingly enough there is a way to win a game of chess in only two moves. Now, when we're looking at the two move checkmate or also known as the foolsmate, it's going to take a sequence of bad moves by the opponent to fall into this trap of only two moves. Now interestingly enough the two move checkmate is going to occur on the black side checkmating white in two moves. So white is going to open up and play a move, F-4. As we can notice in this position by white moving their pawn to F-4 they've opened up their king's diagonal exposing the king and creating a weakness. Black can simply open up and make space for their queen and bishop and this is black's first move. White makes their second move further opening up the king's diagonal and allowing for black to make their second move which is to bring the queen along the diagonal to H-4 and checking the king. Now in chess when we're in check we look for three ways to get out of check. It's either to move the king, to block the check or to capture the checking piece. In this position the king has no safe squares to move. There are no pieces that can interpose or block the queen from checking the king and there are actually no pieces that can capture the checking piece or capture the queen. So what has just happened is black has checkmated white in two moves and just to once again show you, white opens up making the move to F-4 opening up the king's diagonal. Black plays the pawn up opening up the queen to make a direct threat on white's king. White plays G-4 and black responds by bringing the queen out and making a direct threat to white's king and leaving white with no option to run, block or capture and ending the game in only two moves.

Soul Steppin: http://amzn.to/1FVn9vR Stomp The Yard: http://amzn.to/1QbUz9A Jabbawockeez Dance Black T-shirt: http://amzn.to/1VHI9I7 Watch more How to Step Dance videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/513421-How-to-Do-a-Simple-Step-for-Beginners-Step-Dance Hi, my name is Victor Sho, and this is my assistant Oscar Acevedo, and we are going to teach you a beginner level of how to combine a step to a bass beat. So we're going to start off teaching you the bass beat and then Oscar will always do the bass beat. And I will you another step, which is just one step routine that you will do one at a time and then together. Alright? So, we start off with our bass beat. What we're going to do is do a single stomp with our right leg, and then you go onto your left and do a hand clap. Okay? So you're going to go boom, boom clap. Five, six, seven, and right, left right. Five, six, seven, and right, left, right. Then you're going to go right, left clap, boom, bop. Right, left clap, right stomp, right thigh. So it goes five, six, seven, and. So now you're going to add your left stomp and another hand clap right after that. So it's going to go boom, boom bop, boom, bop, boom, bop. After we do this phrase right here, five, six, seven, and [dances], you're going to do another single stomp right here, another left single stomp, and a clap. Do another hand clap. Okay? So let's combine that right there. So you're going to go boom, boom clap, boom, bop, boom, bop. Boom, boom, bop. Cool? So now, right now, you've got to understand that we just, our last stomp was on our left leg but we're going to do another stomp on the left leg to now clap over the right and then under the right. Okay? So it's going to go, let's take it from here. Boom, boom bop, boom, clap, clap. Okay? So let's combine that all together. So it should sound something like this. So it should go boom, boom bop, boom, bop, boom, bop. Boom, boom bop, boom, bop, bop. Okay? And then we're going to do this one more time. So now we loop it, yeah? So this right leg is up and you're just going to use that next stomp to start it all over again. And it's just going to go boom, boom bop, boom, bop, boom, bop. Boom, boom bop, boom, bop, bop, and finish, boom. So now, that is our bass beat. And it sounds pretty much like this. Five, six, five, six, five, six, seven, and [dances]. And that's your bass beat. So now we're going to add the actual step that we need to learn to combine with this bass beat. You ready? Here we go. We stomp with our left leg, and clap over our right and then under our right. We want to stomp with our right leg and clap over our left and then under our left. And the beat goes boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop. One more time. Five, six, seven, and a [dances]. Okay? So right now you're going to stomp this leg right here, boom, and then clap with your hand. Okay? Then you're going to go, to combine it together it's going to go boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom, clap. Okay? And then you're going to take a stomp with your right leg, boom, and hit both your thighs with your hands, bop. So it's going to go five, six, seven, and boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom, bop. Boom, bop. To finish that off you're going to stomp with your left leg and clap twice with your hands. Boom, bop, bop. Cool? So let's add that on. So it's going to go boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom, bop. Boom, bop, boom bop. Bop. Okay? So now to finish this you're going to do it one more time again but the ending is going to be a little bit difference. So after you said boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom bop. Boom, bop, boom bop. Bop. You're going to do it one more time. Boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom bop. Boom, bop, boom bop. And now this ending is where the difference comes. You're going to do two doubles and end off with a single. Ba-boom, ba-boom, boom. Once again, after you hit your thighs right here you're going to go right left, right left, right. Okay? So let's combine it, just that second part. So you're going to go boom, bop, bop, boom, bop, bop, boom bop. Boom, bop, boom bop. Ba-boom, ba-boom, boom. Okay? So now when you put it all together for just the step alone it sounds like this. So now we're going to take that step and mix it with the bass beat to create a whole new beat. Are you ready? I'm going to do it slow, in tempo, and then we're done. Here we go. Five, six, five, six, five, six, seven and. And that's how you do it.

Build ripped muscle like Zac with this program… http://athleanx.com/x/built-like-zac-year-round Zac Efron’s workout and diet plan are making waves this Summer because of his incredible physique transformation preparing for Baywatch. Along side the Rock, Zac holds his own, having carved out a chiseled body by focusing on 7 key elements of his training and nutrition. Recently, Men’s Fitness magazine published a story about the gains Efron made to get ready for his Summer comedy role. In this video, I am breaking down the most important aspects of his diet plan and workouts to help you to start getting better results from your workouts heading into Summer. I’m also going to take a look back at a former “most wanted” celebrity body (that of Taylor Lautner) to see what went wrong and prevented his gains from being permanent. First and foremost, it is worth noting that neither Zac Efron or Taylor Lautner are heavyweights. Both stand just 5 foot 10 inches tall and weigh no more than 170 pounds. To make his transformation for Baywatch, Efron gained just 10 pounds of lean muscle. The thing is, when you minimize your body fat levels and maximize the amount of muscle your body can naturally carry…you look much bigger than you are. Both of these guys have mastered this. That said, you can’t expect to look better without being willing to put in some hard work along the way. Zac did just this by adopting more heavy weight training into his workout routine. He stated that he never had lifted very heavy or explosive before preparing for this film. A lot of people actually find themselves in a similar position either because they are uncomfortable lifting heavy or just don’t have the base strength to be able to do it. By increasing his strength levels on the basic compound lifts, Efron was able to start adding to his muscle density and thickness. Next he followed a push, pull, legs training split. This workout sequence allows you to train your body more athletically since you train movements instead of individual muscles. The back and biceps are responsible for all lifts in which you pull the weight towards you or pull your body towards a fixed bar. It’s impossible to isolate their actions so it helps to train them together to allow you more recovery time between workouts. Daily ab training is another key to having the resting tone needed to showcase your abs year round (provided your diet and nutrition are in check). Zac Efron’s diet is also covered here as well. By including a cheat day once in awhile, he is able to maintain his sanity and consistency required to keep his body fat levels low year round. For all lesson plans: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/education/education-workshop/default.aspx Students build a sensor that measures the flexion and extension of a finger to learn about the anatomy of a human hand. Next, they assemble a cardboard glove and attach multiple sensors to enable visualizing how bones work within the skeletal system. Building upon this model, they engineer a robotic hand that can be controlled by their glove to complete a set of tasks. Finally, they run trials with their robotic hand and generate ideas to improve the range of tasks it can accomplish.
