8 Signs and Symptoms of Vitamin D Deficiency

8 Signs and Symptoms of Vitamin D Deficiency 1. Getting Sick or Infected Often One of vitamin D's most important roles is keeping your immune system strong so you're able to fight off viruses and bacteria that cause illness. It directly interacts with the cells that are responsible for fighting infection (4). If you often become sick, especially with colds or the flu, low vitamin D levels may be a contributing factor. Several large observational studies have shown a link between a deficiency and respiratory tract infections like colds, bronchitis and pneumonia (5, 6). A number of studies have found that taking vitamin D supplements at a dosage of up to 4,000 IU daily may reduce your risk of respiratory tract infections (7, 8, 9). In one study in people with the chronic lung disorder COPD, only those who were severely deficient in vitamin D experienced a significant benefit after taking a high-dose supplement for one year (10). 2. Fatigue and Tiredness Feeling tired can have many causes, and vitamin D deficiency may be one of them. Unfortunately, it's often overlooked as a potential cause. Case studies have shown that very low blood levels can cause fatigue that has a severe negative effect on quality of life (11, 12). In one case, a woman who complained of chronic daytime fatigue and headaches was found to have a vitamin D blood level of only 5.9 ng/ml. This is extremely low, as anything under 20 ng/ml is considered deficient. 3. Bone and Back Pain Vitamin D helps maintain bone health in a number of ways. For one, it improves your body's absorption of calcium. Bone pain and lower back pain may be signs of inadequate vitamin D levels in the blood. Large observational studies have found a relationship between a deficiency and chronic lower back pain (15, 16, 17). One study examined the association between vitamin D levels and back pain in more than 9,000 older women. The researchers found that those with a deficiency were more likely to have back pain, including severe back pain that limited their daily activities (17). 4. Depression A depressed mood may also be a sign of vitamin D deficiency. In review studies, researchers have linked vitamin D deficiency to depression, particularly in older adults (19, 20). In one analysis, 65% of the observational studies found a relationship between low blood levels and depression. On the other hand, most of the controlled trials, which carry more scientific weight than observational studies, didn't show a link between the two (19). However, the researchers who analyzed the studies noted that the dosages of vitamin D in controlled studies were often very low. In addition, they observed that some of the studies may not have lasted long enough to see the effect of taking supplements on mood. 5. Impaired Wound Healing Slow healing of wounds after surgery or injury may be a sign that your vitamin D levels are too low. Results from a test-tube study suggest that the vitamin increases the production of compounds that are crucial for forming new skin as part of the wound-healing process (23). One study on people who had dental surgery found that certain aspects of healing were compromised by vitamin D deficiency (24). It's also been suggested that vitamin D's role in controlling inflammation and fighting infection is important for proper healing. One analysis looked at patients with diabetic foot infections. 6. Bone Loss Vitamin D plays a crucial role in calcium absorption and bone metabolism. Many older people who are diagnosed with bone loss believe they need to take more calcium. However, they may be deficient in vitamin D as well. Low bone mineral density is an indication that your bones have lost calcium and other minerals. This places older adults, especially women, at an increased risk of fractures. In a large observational study in more than 1,100 middle-aged women in menopause or postmenopause, researchers found a strong link between low vitamin D levels and low bone mineral density (27). However, a controlled study found that women who were vitamin D deficient experienced no improvement in bone mineral density when they took high-dose supplements, even if their blood levels improved (28). 7. Hair Loss Hair loss is often attributed to stress, which is certainly a common cause. However, when hair loss is severe, it may be the result of a disease or nutrient deficiency. Hair loss in women has been linked to low vitamin D levels, though there is very little research on this to date (29). Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disease characterized by severe hair loss from the head and other parts of the body. It's associated with rickets, which is a disease that causes soft bones in children due to vitamin D deficiency (30). Low vitamin D levels are linked to alopecia areata and may be a risk factor for developing the disease (31, 32, 33).

Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms, Effects, and Treatment What is your vitamin D level? You don't know. Could you have vitamin D deficiency? Everyone seems to be talking about vitamin D lately. But what's the big deal? Why should you care about vitamin D? Well, I'll tell you why, because there are many, many consequences of vitamin D deficiency. One consequence, having a poor immune system or being sickly. You can also have muscle weakness with vitamin D deficiency. And, of course, you can have weak bones if your vitamin D is deficient. There are some observational studies that show that vitamin D deficiency may be associated with fatigue, poor wound healing, hair loss. What is vitamin D? Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that is important in your body's absorption of calcium and phosphorus, which are both essential for bone health. But beyond being essential for bone health, vitamin D is also important for your immune system and for muscle strength. How do you get vitamin D in your system? Well, one way is through sun exposure. Yes, on a beautiful sunny day like today your skin can actually synthesize vitamin D from the sunlight. You can also get vitamin D through your diet, through foods like fatty fish, cod liver oil, cow's milk, and some vitamin D can be found in eggs, and then, of course, you can take vitamin D supplements. Who is at risk for vitamin D deficiency? People who don't have enough sun exposure are at risk. So if you are a person who wears a lot of sunscreens, or if you always carry an umbrella to prevent sun exposure, then you could be at risk for vitamin D deficiency, or people with darker skin with a lot of melanin in the skin are also at risk for vitamin D deficiency. Also, if you are a person who is homebound, or bed bound like a nursing home patient, you are at risk, and people who live in cold climates where they are essentially indoors during all the winter months, and not out getting sun exposure. These people are also at risk for vitamin D deficiency. You are also at risk if you have an inadequate dietary intake of vitamin D. What happens if you don't eat fatty fish, if you don't eat eggs, if you don't drink a cow's milk, and if you don't supplement your diet with vitamin D? Then certainly you can have vitamin D deficiency. You are also at risk for vitamin D deficiency if you are unable to absorb the vitamin D in your intestines properly. If you have Crohn's disease, then you are at risk, and if you have had a gastric bypass surgery, you can also be at risk for vitamin D deficiency. Patients with kidney or liver disease are at risk for vitamin D deficiency as well. Here's why. Both the liver and the kidney have enzymes which help to transform vitamin D into a biologically active form, so if you have kidney disease or liver disease, then make sure you check with your doctor for your vitamin D level, because you are definitely at risk for vitamin D deficiency. So how can you be diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency? Well, you simply go to your physician and ask for a blood test, your vitamin D level. A normal vitamin D level is at very least 30 nanograms per milliliter, but we actually prefer your vitamin D level to be greater than 50. You have vitamin D insufficiency if your vitamin D level is less than 30, and you have frank vitamin D deficiency if your vitamin D level is less than 20. So what is the treatment for vitamin D deficiency? Well, in addition to sun exposure, and to increasing vitamin D in your diet, you can get vitamin D supplementation. The two most commonly used vitamin D supplements are vitamin D2, or ergocalciferol, and vitamin D3, or cholecalciferol. I actually use both of these types of vitamin D when I treat my patients in my practice with vitamin D deficiency. This ends my overview of vitamin D deficiency symptoms, effects, and treatment. What Are Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms?

For more info: https://draxe.com/vitamin-d-deficiency-symptoms/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Apr-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=vitaminddeficiency In this video I’m going to talk about the benefits of vitamin D as well as symptoms of vitamin D deficiency. In certain studies, Americans has been found to be the #1 population in vitamin D deficiency. Some of the main symptoms of vitamin D deficiency are a weakened immune system, candida or bacterial overgrowth, emotional ups and downs, hormone imbalance, trouble putting on muscle or losing weight, weakened bones or teeth, cancer, heart disease, or diabetes. Vitamin D supports having a healthy immune response, digestive health, hormone balance, and more. The biggest causes of vitamin D deficiency are not getting enough sunlight, certain chemicals from plastic bottles (bpa), and toxicity. Try to get outside everyday for about 20-30 minutes of natural sunlight. Certain foods that are sources of vitamin D are wild caught fish, raw fermented milk, mushrooms, and eggs. However, there are small amounts in the food you eat. For a good supplement, I would recommend a high quality vitamin D supplement. You don’t want to take vitamin D2, but you do want to take vitamin D3. For supplementation, take about 2000-5000 IUs a day. However, if you have a severe deficiency, then for 1-2 months, you may take 5000 IUs twice daily. Lastly, you want to take your vitamin D3 with some form of fat like coconut oil or avocado to help absorption in your body. Vitamin D - Improve Cognitive Performance and Mood (but Don't Take Too Much)

06:54
READ MORE HERE: https://goo.gl/oFZtmU Instagram: http://bit.ly/2n7nXqo Facebook: http://bit.ly/2mQbtl4 When someone tells you that getting sunlight is good for your health, they aren’t lying. The primary benefit of sunlight is vitamin D. Often referred to as “the sunlight vitamin”, it is currently one of the most underutilized nutritional supplements for cognitive and physical health. The majority of people in the western world live in regions where sunlight is inconsistent during many months of the year. Because of this, supplementation (whether via fish products or pure vitamin D supplements) is often advised. The benefits of vitamin D are plenty, but the brain is one of the biggest benefactors. Studies show increased cognitive abilities with adequate vitamin D, there is evidence vitamin D regulates serotonin and thus influences anxiety and depression. Benefits of Vitamin D The benefits of vitamin D range from enhancing cognitive performance to reducing neurological decline and even supporting healthier mood (reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression). One animal study showed that long-term treatment of vitamin D could help slow the rate of decline in the hippocampus (where memories are stored) showing promising neuroprotective effects. This may be one of the correlations between vitamin D and neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s. Some studies show that vitamin D supplementation could reduce symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and there is an inverse relationship between serum vitamin D and risk of Alzheimer’s disease. The same inverse relationship exists with Parkinson’s disease. Unfortunately, when adults were tested (who had sufficient vitamin D levels), the addition of 5000 IU of vitamin D failed to influence any cognitive indicators]. Therefore, some could conclude that vitamin D is a liability when one is deficient, but is not necessarily much of a cognitive asset in high quantities. Of course, one of the main benefits of vitamin D is related to mood and particularly anxiety and depression. One study showed that depressed adults deficient in vitamin D were able to decrease symptoms by 42%. There seems to be ample evidence against this hypothesis as well, but recent research shows a potential mechanism for improved mood and reduced anxiety. In a 2014 dated study, Dr. Rhonda Patrick showed that vitamin D is required for regulating serotonin. While her study focused on how this might help reduce symptoms of autism, it is nevertheless interesting given the context of mood and reduced anxiety.

Why You Have Not Heard The Truth About Vitamin D

56:02
http://homefirst.com/ Seventy seven percent (77%) of U.S. teens and adults are deficient in vitamin D (less than 30ng/mL), ten years earlier, fifty-five percent (55%) were deficient, in the so-called "sunshine vitamin" whose deficits are increasingly blamed for everything from cancer and heart disease to diabetes. Recent scientific studies have found that the level of Vitamin D in most people, while adequate to protect against rickets, is not high enough to lower the probability of other medical conditions that may be caused by insufficient amounts of Vitamin D. At the same time that doctors are discrediting the value of vitamins, minerals and supplements, more and more scientific studies are coming out about their medical and therapeutic values. No vitamin has had more scientific studies recently published than the rediscovered Sunshine Vitamin - Vitamin D. http://www.alicebranton.com and http://trivedieffect.com https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNHALt0CBT8 How Vitamin D3 Deficiency May be A Bigger Deal than You Think | Suncoast View. Alice Branton is a dynamic leader, distinguished executive, galvanizing speaker and disruptive entrepreneur. She is on a mission to champion the breakthrough science of Life Force Energy and its applications in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical product research to usher in a new era of human health and wellness. Along with Mahendra Trivedi, founder of the Trivedi Effect, Alice is the co-author of over 250 research papers on the science of Life Force energy that are published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Alice’s research has been featured in over 1,000 universities in the U.S., including the Ivy League and the National Institutes of Health, as well as in over 3,000 universities worldwide across more than 130 countries. With all the medical advancements over the last hundred years, vitamin D deficiency is still a global pandemic. Vitamin D deficiency is a major public health problem worldwide irrespective of age, location, ethnicity and gender. Even in those residing in countries with low latitude, where it was generally assumed that UV radiation was adequate enough to prevent this deficiency, and in industrialized countries, where vitamin D fortification has been implemented now for years. Over 75% population in USA is deficient. Vitamin D deficiency causes rickets in children and will precipitate and exacerbate osteopenia, osteoporosis, and fractures in adults. Vitamin D3 deficiency can result in obesity, diabetes, hypertension, depression, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and neuro-degenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s disease. Vitamin D deficiency may even contribute to the development of cancers, especially breast, prostate, and colon cancers. Vitamin D, known as the sunshine vitamin, is produced endogenously by the human body in response to skin being exposed to sunlight. Very few foods contain naturally occurring vitamin D, and foods that are fortified with vitamin D are often inadequate to satisfy our vitamin D requirement. Alice Branton, CEO of Trivedi Global, Inc., is on a mission to champion the breakthrough of highly bioavailable food and supplement products to combat the vitamin D deficiency. Alice Branton and Mahendra Trivedi, the founder of the Trivedi Effect, have the unique ability to harness and transmit Life Force and infuse it into living organisms and non-living materials to greatly enhance, potentize and alter their characteristics and behaviors through transformation at the atomic, molecular and cellular levels. The Trivedi Effect has been tested and validated in over 4,000 scientific experiments with world renowned scientists and research institutes using the most sophisticated technologies available globally and has resulted in over 300 publications in major international peer-reviewed scientific journals with over 3100 citations. Research on the Trivedi Effect has been adopted in over 3000 universities internationally including the ivy league as well as the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In preclinical trials the Trivedi Effect has seen subjects increase their vitamin D3 synthesis by over 120%, much higher than the daily requirement. Alice herself, is a true living example of the power this breakthrough of the Trivedi Effect as the only real factor impacting quality of life, healthy aging and longevity. In May 2017 at forty-six years of age, a comprehensive full-body digital x-ray analysis revealed that Alice has no signs of degeneration and remarkably has a functioning growing cartilage as well as significant bone mineralization that is indicative of a healthy woman, twenty years of age. Alice is committed to the advancement of the Trivedi Effect via thought leadership, public speaking and continued research and product development. Vitamin D in teens: Don’t overdo it, bad things might happen

02:08
Dosing obese teens with vitamin D shows no benefits for their heart health or diabetes risk, and could have the unintended consequences of increasing cholesterol and fat-storing triglycerides. These are the latest findings in a series of Mayo Clinic studies in childhood obesity. Seema Kumar, M.D., a pediatric endocrinologist in the Mayo Clinic Children’s Center, has been studying the effects of vitamin D supplementation in children for 10 years, through four clinical trials and six published studies. To date, Dr. Kumar’s team has found limited benefit from vitamin D supplements in adolescents. The latest study, Effect of Vitamin D3 Treatment on Endothelial Function in Obese Adolescents, appears online in Pediatric Obesity. “After three months of having vitamin D boosted into the normal range with supplements, these teenagers showed no changes in body weight, body mass index, waistline, blood pressure or blood flow,” says Dr. Kumar. “We’re not saying the links between vitamin D deficiency and chronic diseases don’t exist for children—we just haven’t found any yet.”

Vitamin D Update - William Grant, PhD (October 2017)

53:24
"Vitamin D Update" is a presentation by William Grant, PhD that took place on October 19, 2017 at Silicon Valley Health Institute. Vitamin D is a vitamin that improves most of the contributing factors to chronic disease including inflammation and oxidative stress. It has been shown to be beneficial in conditions such as autism, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, depression, psoriasis, osteoporosis, respiratory tract infections, cancer, Alzheimer's Disease, food allergies, and pregnancy. William B. Grant has PhD in physics from the University of California, Berkeley (1971). He had a 30-year career in atmospheric sciences with an emphasis on laser remote sensing of atmospheric constituents such as ozone and aerosols, with positions at SRI International (1973-79), the Jet Propulsion Laboratory/California Intitute of Technology (1979-89) and NASA Langley Research Center (1989-2004). He turned to health research in 1996, publishing the first paper linking diet to risk of Alzheimer’s disease in 1997, followed by studies of sugar, fat and coronary heart disease in 1998, and animal products and cancer risk in 1998. In 1999 he turned his attention to the role of solar ultraviolet-B exposure in reducing risk of many types of cancer through production of vitamin D in 2002. After retirement from NASA in 2004, he moved to San Francisco and formed the nonprofit organization Sunlight, Nutrition and Health Research Center (http://www.sunarc.org), where he spends most of his time studying the role of solar UVB exposure and vitamin D in reducing risk of cancer and many other types of disease. He also investigates the role of diet in risk of Alzheimer's disease and cancer. He has about 300 health publications listed at www.pubmed.gov, of which 210 are related to vitamin D, with 78 of these also on ultraviolet radiation and human health, and 41 to diet and disease. Vitamin D Deficiency, Latest Studies

00:41
In a new article published in Thursday's New England Journal of Medicine , doctors are stepping away from previous warnings about the need for more vitamin D saying there's too much needless testing and too many people taking too many pills for a problem that is really not as wide ranging as previously reported. Vitamin is crucial for strong bones and may play a role in other health conditions, but proof of even that has become far less certain. The Journal reported that correctly interpreted, less than 6 percent of Americans ages 1 to 70 are Vitamin D deficient and only 13 percent are in danger of not getting enough.

Vitamin D deficiency is Big loss || Vitamin D3 || Health || problems ||

09:34
People get vitamin D through food and by exposure to sunlight. For most adults, vitamin D deficiency isn't a concern. Some, especially those with dark skin and adults older than 65, are at higher risk of the condition. Most people have no symptoms. In severe cases, deficiency can lead to thin, brittle or misshapen bones. Vitamin D is essential for strong bones because it helps the body use calcium from the diet. Traditionally, vitamin D deficiency has been associated with rickets, a disease in which the bone tissue doesn't properly mineralize, leading to soft bones and skeletal deformities. But increasingly, research is revealing the importance of vitamin D in protecting against a host of health problems. Research suggests that vitamin D could play a role in the prevention and treatment of a number of different conditions, including type1 and type 2 diabetes, hypertension, glucose intolerance, and multiple sclerosis. Causes of Vitamin D Deficiency Vitamin D deficiency can occur for a number of reasons: You don't consume the recommended levels of the vitamin over time. This is likely if you follow a strict vegan diet, because most of the natural sources are animal-based, including fish and fish oils, egg yolks, fortified milk, and beef liver. Your exposure to sunlight is limited. Because the body makes vitamin D when your skin is exposed to sunlight, you may be at risk of deficiency if you are homebound, live in northern latitudes, wear long robes or head coverings for religious reasons, or have an occupation that prevents sun exposure. You have dark skin. The pigment melanin reduces the skin's ability to make vitamin D in response to sunlight exposure. Some studies show that older adults with darker skin are at high risk of vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D deficiencies are often caused by decreased exposure of the skin to sunlight. People with a darker pigment of a skin or increased amounts of melanin in their skin may have decreased production of Vitamin D.[1] Melanin absorbs ultraviolet B radiation from the sun and reduces vitamin D production.[1] Sunscreen can also reduce vitamin D production.[1] Medications may speed up the metabolism of vitamin D, causing a deficiency.[1] Some types of liver diseases and kidney diseases can decrease vitamin D production leading to a deficiency.[1] The liver is required to transform vitamin D into 25-hydroxyvitamin D. This is an inactive metabolite of vitamin D but is a necessary precursor (building block) to create the active form of vitamin D.[14] In liver disease, the 25-hydroxyvitamin D may not be formed, leading to a vitamin D deficiency.[14] The kidneys are responsible for converting 25-hydroxyvitamin D to 1,25-hydroxyvitamin D.This is the active form of vitamin D in the body. Kidney disease often prevents 1,25-hydroxyvitamin D from being formed, leading to a vitamin D deficiency. Intestinal conditions that result in malabsorption of nutrients may also contribute to vitamin D deficiency by decreasing the amount of vitamin D absorbed via diet. In addition, a vitamin D deficiency may lead to decreased absorption of calcium by the intestines, resulting in increased production of osteoclasts that may break down a person's bone matrix. In states of hypocalcemia, calcium will leave the bones and may give rise to secondary hyperparathyroidism, which is a response by the body to increase serum calcium levels. The body does this by increasing uptake of calcium by the kidneys and continuing to take calcium away from the bones. If prolonged, this may lead to osteoporosis in adults and rickets in children. Study: Lack of Vitamin D associated with greater risk of depression

01:08
Older adults with Vitamin D deficiency are at greater risk of developing depression, finds a study. The study has been published in Journal of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (JAMDA). A new study by researchers from The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA) at Trinity College Dublin has shown for the first time in Ireland that a deficiency in vitamin D was associated with a substantially increased risk of depression (+75 percent) over a four-year follow-up period. Later life depression can significantly reduce the quality of life and is a potent risk factor for functional decline, admission to residential care and early death. Given the complex nature of depression, including the fact that the majority of older adults are undiagnosed, prevention is a priority and the identification of important risk factors is crucial. Low Vitamin D May Be The Root Cause of Chronic Illness

01:24
At Dana-Farber and Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, researchers are helping illuminate how vitamin D may play a beneficial role in colorectal cancer, health disparities, pediatric stem cell transplants, and overall disease prevention. Working with Fuchs and others, Dana-Farber's Kimmie Ng, MD, MPH, explored the potential impact of vitamin D on cancer patients. A study she co-led found that colorectal cancer patients with the highest vitamin D levels in their blood were 48 percent less likely to die (from any cause) than those with the lowest vitamin D measurements. Vitamin D deficiency is highly prevalent among patients with stage IV colorectal cancer receiving first-line chemotherapy, particularly in black and female patients. Evidence that vitamin D reduces the risk of many types of disease is increasing exponentially. In 2011, 3,100 publications with "vitamin D" in the title or abstract were published, up from 2,606 in 2010, 1,303 in 2005, and 796 in 2000. Based on the latest findings, raising the year-around 25(OH)D level above 40 to 60 ng/mL could have a significant impact on overall cancer rates. Read more......

Are Low levels of Vitamin D the Root Cause of Chronic Illness

01:17
Based on the latest findings, raising the year-around 25(OH)D level above 40 to 60 ng/mL could have a significant impact on overall cancer rates.

www.dbowker3d.com Created for Abbott Labs. This animated video focuses on emerging research around the importance of Vitamin D its connection to a range of vital systems in the human body. For this project (which was produced while working at Animation Technologies) I and a junior animator created a range of sequences from macro level illustrations to micro-level animations of DNA transcription, parathyroid regulation, and tissue absorbtion. Music and a voice-overs were incorporated. www.dbowker3d.com An overview of selected clips and projects. My 3D animation work spans over fifteen years, both as a full-time senior staff animator, and for the past six years as an independent consultant. Each client and project is looked at as chance to learn something new and help them tell their story better than their competitors. I have a degree in product design and a professional dedication to problem solving. I've worked with clients creating large trade-show animations, sales collateral materials, instructional videos, and winning trial and litigation graphics.

Vitamin D is better than ANY vaccine and increases the immune system by 3-5 times

08:35
Germans found that Vitamin D increases the immune system by 3-5 times and is BETTER than any vaccine at helping the immune system beat the h5n1 (bird flu) virus. See 2:20 Research from PubMed: In 1981, R. Edgar Hope-Simpson proposed that a 'seasonal stimulus' intimately associated with solar radiation explained the remarkable seasonality of epidemic influenza. Solar radiation triggers robust seasonal vitamin D production in the skin; vitamin D deficiency is common in the winter, and activated vitamin D, 1,25(OH)2D, a steroid hormone, has profound effects on human immunity. 1,25(OH)2D acts as an immune system modulator, preventing excessive expression of inflammatory cytokines and increasing the 'oxidative burst' potential of macrophages. Perhaps most importantly, it dramatically stimulates the expression of potent anti-microbial peptides, which exist in neutrophils, monocytes, natural killer cells, and in epithelial cells lining the respiratory tract where they play a major role in protecting the lung from infection. Volunteers inoculated with live attenuated influenza virus are more likely to develop fever and serological evidence of an immune response in the winter. Vitamin D deficiency predisposes children to respiratory infections. Ultraviolet radiation (either from artificial sources or from sunlight) reduces the incidence of viral respiratory infections, as does cod liver oil (which contains vitamin D). An interventional study showed that vitamin D reduces the incidence of respiratory infections in children. We conclude that vitamin D, or lack of it, may be Hope-Simpson's 'seasonal stimulus'- http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16959053?ordinalpos=1&itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_DiscoveryPanel.Pubmed_Discovery_RA&linkpos=4&log$=relatedreviews&logdbfrom=pubmed For more information please see my other video: Vitamin D kills the flu virus so STOP BLOCKING OUR SUNLIGHT- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRmSV8OUzq0 This is a re-upload from roberte747's channel- http://www.youtube.com/user/roberte747

The Amazing Benefits Of Vitamin D for Men

05:30
You Can Find High Potency Liquid D3 at https://www.truthnutra.com/products/liquid-vitamin-d3 Vitamin D is great for your hormones, for increasing testosterone levels, and for overall feeling of well being. That's because it is actually a hormone in and of itself. Vitamin D is one of the 24 essential vitamins needed for human survival. It regulates more than 1,000 bodily functions, not to mention, the vitamin D testosterone benefits are quite profound. Vitamin D occurs naturally in fish and eggs, although the best way to get it is through regular sun exposure. Vitamin D is actually not even a vitamin. It’s a steroid hormone, mistakenly named as a vitamin. This hormone D, regulates more than 1,000 bodily functions, including fertility, growth, hormone secretion, and sexual function. Needless to say that if your serum vitamin D levels are too low, more than 1,000 bodily functions are also somewhat impaired. Several of these functions that vitamin D regulates are linked to the endocrine system, thus not getting adequate amounts of “the bone vitamin”, should in theory reduce testosterone levels.
