Fluticasone Side Effects with 3 Other Remedy Options!

06:35
Click on the link below for a free video guide to dietary supplements and alternative medicine! http://utahtexans.com/ In this video I want to share with you the main fluticasone side effects, what it's used for as well as few other choices when it comes to alternative medicine. Fluticasone is used for nasal congestion and allergies. This could be like a stuffy nose, a runny nose, sneezing as well as helping with eye symptoms such as itchy, watery eyes. The most common side effects would be a bloody nose. So be aware of that. Nausea, vomiting, sneezing, a sore throat, headaches, muscle aches could happen as a side effect. Some of the worst side effects would be a loss of interest in sex, that is a deal breaker for me. Also it may suppress the immune system and make it weaker. This makes sense because congestion is your immune system working to protect you. Artificially messing with it makes it easier for germs, viruses and bacteria to harm your boy. Another side effect is that it can slow healing. You may think oh that is no big deal I got tons of band-aids, but think about when you exercise or go to the gym your muscles have to heal. Your body needs to heal itself, and some say sleep is the ultimate medicien because that is when your body needs to heal itself. It can also slow the growth of children. So if you are a child don't take this medicine. The effects are not know for women who are pregnant, so don't take it if your pregnant. This nasal spray can cause glaucoma or cataracts which damages vision. If you already have an issue with vision they can make them worse. If you are looking for natural relief for allergies you can try omega 3 believe it or not. It seems no matter what health problem you have omega 3 seems to help. A German study published in the journal Allergy found people who have diets rich in of omega-3 fatty acids suffer from fewer allergy symptoms. Next take a quality multi-vitamin. One that doesn't use fake synthetic ingredients but the real stuff. A study in the publication “Annals of Allergy and Annals, researchers proved that an intake of 4000 IU of vitamin D improved allergy symptoms by 30% in one week and up to 40% over the course of 12 weeks. Also believe it or not spicy foods like peppers or horseradish acts as a nasal decongestant. In a study in the 2011 edition of Annals of Allergy & Asthma showed that the group that took the chili peppers reported a faster onset of relief than the control group who took a placebo. To get more ideas on alternative medicine and supplements I recommend clicking on the link below!

Product Review - Flonase

03:04
I have never bought a pharmaceutical through Amazon before. When I noticed that Flonase was priced $5 cheaper than my local Walmart, I decided to give it a try. I was concerned that Amazon would "off-load" an old bottle of Flonase on me, with an expiration that was 8-12 months from my time of purchase. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my bottle had an expiration almost 2 years from my time of purchase, especially when I bought the larger, 120 spray bottle of Flonase. Another hesitation that I had was that I like to buy pharmaceuticals at the store so I can pick up the bottle and read the drug facts. Please watch my video for a review of all of the drug information that came with the purchase of Flonase.

Antiboitics do not help colds or allergies and may make them worse. In this video I'm going to discuss over the counter solutions for nasal congestion. Decongestants may help your symptoms of nasal congestion by making the blood vessels in the lining of your nose smaller. This vasoconstrictive effect reduces swelling ,inflammation and mucus formation in the nasal passages and makes it easier to breath. The bad part about many decongestants is that they don't only make the vessels in your nasal passages smaller but they affect the vessels in your entire body as well which can lead to an elevated blood pressure. For Americans that already have high blood pressure, this could be dangerous. Common decongestants are Phenylephrine and pseudoephedrine. Sometimes these medications are kept behind the pharmacy counter. They are not prescription medications so you just need to ask your pharmacist for them. Many of the multisymptom cold and flu concoctions available on the market today have one of these decongestants in them. It's important to look at the ingredients and understand what you are taking so that you don't overdose and so that you know how your body responds to certain ingredients. Decongestants can make some people feel jittery or have trouble sleeping. Those with high blood pressure may want to steer clear of oral decongestants. You should only treat the symptoms you have. Any and all medications carry with them possible risks and side effects. That being said, if you don't treat some cold symptoms they may worsen. Thick Germy secretions that sit in your sinuses for a prolonged period of time can become bacterially infected and this is what we are trying to prevent. So it's a balancing act. Be aware that many medications combine different types of ingredients into one product. Many antihistamines have decongestants with them. Usually they will have a D attached to the name. Some common combinations are Allegra-D, Claritin-D, and Zyrtec-D. This is why I'm trying to get you familiar with the generic names of drugs and looking at the ingredients in everything you buy. It can all become very confusing, overwhelming and expensive!! Instead of an oral decongestant you could also try a nasal decongestant such as Afrin (oxymetazoline), Nasal decongestants especially can start making your symptoms worse if used longer than 3 days. It's very important to use these medications correctly. Other nasal sprays that are now on the market as otc options include nasocort and flonase. These are nasal steroids. They too work by reducing swelling and mucus in the nasal passageways and they are safer to use for longer periods. A nasal spray with xylitol has been shown to be effective with keeping the nasal cavity moisturized. If you are going to use nasal sprays then you should know how to administer them correctly. You should blow your nose prior to using them. A common mistake is to spray the septum of your nose which separates your two nostrils. If you do this it may cause bleeding. That is not a side effect of the medication. It's improper administration. Instead you should gently tilt your head forward pointing your nose toward your toes and spray the medication in your nostril but aimed straight back or a little towards your ear. Gently breath in or sniff the medication while spraying it so that it doesn't drip back out but be careful not to sharply inhale it or it will just go down the back of your throat. Nasal irrigation works wonders to clean out your sinus cavities and remove contaminants and irritants directly. It's cheap and it's available over the counter.

How To Use A Nasal Spray | How To Use Nasal Spray Correctly | Proper Nasal Spray Technique | How To Use Decongestant Nasal Spray | How To Use Steroid Nasal Spray Hey all, this weeks video is my favourite video I've made so far! Let me know how you get on with my nasal spray guide by leaving a comment below. If you have any friends or family who would also benefit from this video then feel free to spread the word. Thanks for watching. WHAT ARE NASAL SPRAYS: Nasal sprays are a solution or suspension of medicine. They are sprayed into the nostrils, usually to produce a local effect directly inside the nose. Some nasal sprays are used to administer medicine that acts on other parts of the body. In these cases the medicine is absorbed into the bloodstream from the lining of the nose, which is rich in blood vessels. OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION: • Do not share nasal sprays with other people. • Decongestant nasal sprays should not be used for longer than 5-7 days, as this can cause the nasal congestion to come back (rebound congestion). • EXPIRY: never use your nasal spray after the expiry date as it may be contaminated with dirt or bacteria. Follow the printed instructions given with your spray. Write the date you open your nasal spray on the bottle so you know when to throw it away. • Always use the nasal spray according to the printed label or as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. • Your nasal spray should be cleaned at least once a week, or more frequently if it becomes blocked. Follow the printed instructions supplied with the spray. • Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you accidentally take more than you were supposed to. • Nasal sprays are only intended for use in the nose and must not be taken by mouth. • Once you have finished the treatment course, carefully dispose of any leftover nasal spray, or return it to your pharmacist for disposal. • Always keep medicines out of the reach of children. If you have any further questions please speak to your pharmacist. Want to see more videos about everything health and pharmacy? Let me know in the comments below. How to Use Nasal Sprays Properly

02:04
MEDICATION USAGE INSTRUCTIONS 1. Blow your nose gently before using the spray. 2. Wash your hands well with soap and water. 3. If instructed by your pharmacist or doctor, gently shake the bottle for 10 seconds. 4. Remove the cap from the nasal spray container. 5. Some nasal sprays need to be primed before using for the first time, or if they haven’t been used for several days. Check with your doctor or pharmacist first, and if your spray needs to be primed, spray it into the air, away from your face, a few times before using. 6. With your head upright and tilted forward slightly, press your finger against one side of your nose to close one nostril. 7. Gently insert the nasal spray into the other nostril. With your thumb supporting the bottom of the bottle, press down on the white applicator with two fingers. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. 8. If using spray in both nostrils, Repeat steps 6 and 7 for the other nostril. If you are using more than one spray at a time repeat steps 6 and 7. 9. Put the cap back on the nasal spray container. 10. Avoid blowing your nose for several minutes after using spray. *Always follow the directions provided by your doctor or pharmacist. These instructions are meant to be a general guideline. http://www.rxwiki.com/fluticasone https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXxn_pCvHVm4SwhmOvsncj4-VSC2reTnL Fluticasone nasal spray is a prescription medication used to relieve nasal stuffiness, runny nose, itching, and sneezing due to allergies or other causes. These symptoms are caused by inflammation in the nose. Fluticasone nasal spray belongs to a group of drugs called corticosteroids, which reduce inflammation by decreasing the activity of the immune system. This medication comes in the form of a nasal spray. It is usually sprayed in each nostril once or twice daily. Common side effects of fluticasone nasal spray include headache, nosebleed, and irritated nose. Fluticasone nasal spray can cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how fluticasone nasal spray affects you.

Xlear Founder Nate Jones Discusses Xylitol Nasal Spray on CNBC's Squawk Box

07:12
I used to get sick, and I may get sick next week so I don’t wanna overstate the situation, but every year I used to get colds constantly–upper-respiratory things. I’d go and I’d have to get antibiotics and all of that. It’s been about seven and a half months, which for me is like a really long time to not be sick at all, and what happened in that time, and this is when you may think I’m a quack, is I started taking this, your stuff, which is basically saline water with some xylitol in it, which is a little bit of sugar. I spray it up my nose twice a day: once in the morning before the show, once at night before I go to sleep, and so far, zilch! I’m over the moon about it, and I tell everybody that I can about it, so we decided to have Nate on the show. Nate, I tell people that I do this, and they think I’m crazy. What is in here that might be helping me? Nate Jones: Well, there’s a number of things. The salt in there, but xylitol’s the big thing. When you use a regular saline spray, it’s 0.87 percent salt, which is isotonic and so it’ll get your nose moist for a little bit of time. I don’t wanna get too gross, but it gets your snot layer, your mucus layer moist for a short time period. There’s about a 10 percent solution of xylitol in there, and so what it does is it’s much more hyperosmotic, it’s gonna keep your nose moist for a much longer period of time, it’s gonna allow the mucus layer in your nose that cleans the air you breathe, it’s gonna allow it to trap a lot more; the viruses, the bacteria, the dander, the pollen, and get ’em washed out naturally–the way that your body’s meant and designed to be cleaned. Sorkin: So how many times did you use this? I’m just curious. Jones: Once a morning, once a night, just like what you said. Sorkin: Do you? No, you have to understand this is like a big thing. Sorkin: I feel healthier; the whole thing is crazy that I’m just squirting this stuff up my nose. I tell people I’m squirting stuff up my nose, they get a little nervous. So this is full of sugar, and dentists use it? Jones: Dentists use it. They recommend it. It’s a sugar, but it’s different than the sugars we eat. Most the bacteria that live in our mouth, that live in our body, are up an airway in our nose. They live on 6-carbon sugars: sucrose, glucose, fructose, sorbitol, mannitol, maltitol; all of those are 6-carbon sugars. Even the sugars that are in most sugar-free chewing gum are 6 carbon sugars. Sorkin: And I try to explain to people this isn’t like Afrin or anything like that. It’s a whole other situation. But just tell me, is there anything bad in here for me? No seriously, because I think anything that’s actually working for me could be a problem. I have read some stuff if you take too much of this, not this product, but if you were to ingest like 50 milligrams of this [xylitol] a day in rats, well I think if you ingest anything in rats that amount you can get cancer, but there have been certain things on that. Tell me about that. Jones: There was one study that was done in Australia where they said the cancer–that’s actually been disproven numerous times. If you do eat a lot of it, like Joe said, you will get diarrhea but you’d have to eat a lot of it. Sorkin: This is in sugar-free gum as well? Jones: Yeah. If you go into a health foods store, almost all of the gum that you’re gonna buy is gonna be sweetened with xylitol. Sorkin: Is anybody else doing this, putting this stuff in nasal spray? Jones: No, we own the patents on putting it in your nose, but there is a number of- Sorkin: How did you decide to do that? Jones: My dad did. I was working on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico when my dad came up with it. He had a bunch of kids in his practice who were having ear infections–recurring ear infection–and he started getting on this new thing called the Internet back in the 90s on PubMed, and he saw these dental research studies where the kids were using the xylitol chewing gum. Not only were they not getting cavities but they were also getting 42% fewer ear infections. He read another study after digging into that a little more where it actually showed the xylitol reduces the ability of the bacteria; strep, pneumo, influenza, moraxella, all these bacteria live in your upper airway that cause a lot of these upper respiratory problems, but it keeps them from adhering to the tissue. Female 1: So do you do this preventively? Can Joe start doing this and maybe see results? Will he get better, or…? Jones: Just ’cause you’re using Flonase, those are drugs, no you should–even if you’re using Flonase you should use this because the drugs, the steroids, the antihistamines, the decongestants like Flonase, Afrin, Zicam, all of these other drugs they do their job, but their job is actually to shut down your immune system; it’s to stop your body from producing mucus and everything you’re breathing in now will go right down into your lungs.

Fluticasone Nasal Spray

More Details http://www.fluticasonenasalspray.com/ About the product Full prescription strength Fluticasone Propionate 24-hour relief of nasal congestion, runny nose, itchy nose, sneezing and itchy, watery eyes Contains the #1 most prescribed allergy medicine Non-jittery, non-drowsy, alcohol free formula Helps block 6 allergic substances. Most allergy pills block just one My Honest review of Flonase Fluticasone Propionate Twin Pack Nasal Spray for Allergy Relief I have allergies against dust or something equally nonspecific that cause my nose to be sniffly and stuffed up every day regardless of season, which made me pretty miserable until every doctor I talked to unanimously told me to try Flonase a few years back. The instructions say that it takes up to a week for it to kick in, but for me I can feel myself starting to get better within a few hours. It's easy to use and any excess liquid that drips down the back of your throat tastes vaguely of roses. There are zero side effects and it works amazingly as long as you keep taking it regularly every day. Unlike regular decongestants, it can be taken for a long period of time without your system building a resistance to it. Once it was converted into an over-the-counter drug, I was buying it from my local grocery store pharmacy until they went two weeks without restocking it on the shelves, so I turned to Amazon. Luckily, it's even cheaper to buy here than at my local store. P.S. - Ask your doctor about Ipratropium Bromide (trade name Atrovent) in addition to this if you've got dust allergies and constant sniffles like me. That stuff's just as harmless, but not well known enough to be available OTC yet. Best of all, you don't have to take it every day -- it completely stops a runny nose within 10 minutes and lasts for hours so I usually just keep a bottle on hand to use when things get really bad. The best Nasal spray out there: Best nasal spray out there! I was using Nasacourt for 6 months and I started to get nose bleeds. I could not for the life of me figure out why I was getting them until my doctor said it could be my nasal spray. She switched me to this and I've been using it for 2 years with no issues! It works better than Allegra. My eyes are no longer itchy and my nose isn't stuffy. It's fairly fast acting, so with a day or two, you will notice a difference. Pros: 1- A very economical way to purchase 2- The least costly way to go 3-No signs of damage to the package so it had to have been the bottles itself Cons: 1- Stuff is short-dated This video related to below: - Flonase Fluticasone Propionate Twin Pack Nasal Spray for Allergy Relief - Flonase Fluticasone Propionate Twin Pack Nasal Spray - Fluticasone Nasal Spray review - Fluticasone Nasal Spray on amazon

Azelastine Nasal Spray Review and Opinion

05:38
Azelastine is a nasal spray that my doctor gave me for my sinus issues. I have runny nose, post nasal drip, ear pressure, and other symptoms. The Azelastine has really helped with all of them and I couldn't be happier! *I'm not a doctor. My experience is solely my own* My channel is ChrisBliss117 and it focuses around two major things: video games and depression. As someone who has major depressive disorder, playing video games is a way for me to cope. I also enjoy making let's plays because it helps me work on my speaking and it pushes me out of my comfort zone to actually do something when I'm depressed. I also talk a little about my depression and medications I take, but I don't go into major details. I hope that you enjoy my videos and channel!

Flonase - "Home Relocation" (Commercial - 2001)

01:03
Here's a commercial for Flonase, a popular drug used to treat minor nasal allergies caused by certain environmental factors. This ad features a family taking a rather drastic measure to avoid suffering from the allergies caused by nature. This drug, like most allergy and heartburn drugs changed its logo and became over the counter in 2015. There used to be a factory that made modular buildings near me, so it wasn't such a ridiculous site for me seeing houses rolling down the road or parked in parking lots overnight while en route to their final destination. This aired on local Chicago TV in 2001.

Chronic Sinus Problems? Try the Bulletproof Sinus Rinse

06:29
For the full blog post, visit: https://blog.bulletproof.com/chronic-sinus-problems/ The best nasal irrigation I’ve found is a Bulletproof Sinus Rinse. Instead of a Neti Pot, get a large salad bowl and fill it with hot water (not so hot that it burns you, but fairly hot). Next, add salt; enough to make the solution isotonic (roughly ½ teaspoon for every cup of water). Salt water – the key ingredient in all these techniques – prevents bacterial growth, whereas regular water promotes it. The next ingredient you’ll add is a few drops of iodine, and, if you wish, xylitol. - Place your bowl on a counter and bend forward like a dippy bird. Don’t tip your head back or you’ll gag. Your spine should be parallel to the floor. - Now blink your eyes two or three times. The iodine will sterilize the lining in your eyes where there is a huge amount of bacteria that result in the inflammation of your immune system. This doubles as a way to beat hayfever by clearing the pollen and pollutants from your eyes. - Now, close your eyes and “drink” through your nose. The solution won’t go down your throat if you are at the proper angle; rather, it will collect in the back of your mouth. When your mouth is full, spit the water out in the sink, and repeat. On another day or at another time, try this version: use GSE (grapefruit seed extract) instead of iodine. You can keep using the xylitol. GSE is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial for fungus and bacteria. Do the Bulletproof Sinus Rinse regularly to break up the biofilms in your sinuses. It’ll reduce inflammation and clear your mind. When I started using this technique, I did it about 10 times a day, because my sinus congestion was so severe. Now, I only do it once or twice a week as maintenance. It changed my life.

Ask the Doctor: Valsartan recall, swollen feet, and flonase

03:48
Ask the Doctor: Valsartan recall, swollen feet, and flonase What can you tell me about the Valsartan recall and what do you recommend for those currently using this drug? Dr. Riley: Valsartan is a medication used mostly to treat high blood pressure. Recently, the FDA discovered that a plant in China making this drug had changed its manufacturing process and low levels of a substance called NDMA were detected. NDMA may be a cancer-causing substance with long-term use, so a recall is in place for the three companies who obtain Valsartan from that plant in ... --------------- Don't Forget Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQM865VOVP5WJTH4heJrVUg?sub_confirmation=1

Good News! You can sing with ALLERGIES | #DrDan 🎤

06:27
Don't let allergies stop you from singing. If you suffer from chronic allergies, then I don’t have to tell you how frustrating, and at times, how painful they can be. And when you add singing into the mix, you have a recipe for disaster. Is there anything that will help alleviate your allergy symptoms all while you continue to sing. It can be hard to achieve your full vocal potential when your whole vocal tract is stuffed up with allergy. So, what is an allergy? Well, briefly, an allergic response is the immune systems incorrect response to an allergen. The allergen can come in many forms: pollen, grass, dust mites are all common allergens which the body can mistake for a pathogenic invader. The immune response to these allergens is complicated, but the symptoms are not. A runny nose, itchy eyes, nasal congestion and an irritated throat, are all indicators that your body may be suffering from an allergic response. Unfortunately, as you’ve probably already noticed, many of these symptoms are taking place along the vocal tract, making it nigh on impossible to sing with freedom and ease. –––––––––––––––––––––––– Welcome to Voice Essentials where everybody sings. Each week we upload new videos purposefully designed to encourage your vocal journey. So if learning to sing is your thing then we invite you to subscribe and join our ever-growing community of passionate singers from across the globe, who just like you, want to raise their voice in song. And a small side note (because I'm asked a lot): It is important to note that while I hold a doctorate (thus I am Dr Dan), I am not a medical doctor, and the advice provided in this video is generalised information only and therefore you should always consult with your healthcare professional for personalised advice about your vocal health and well-being.
