8 Secrets To Keep Your Lawn Always Green And Healthy

02:54
Summer times means green lawns and spending time outside with family and friends. You want to make sure your entertainment space is gorgeous and vibrantly green. There are many things that can take the green out of your grass, leaving your yard with unsightly brown patches. These awesome tips can help keep your grass green and beautiful all season long, making it the perfect backdrop. 1. Aeration. When grass gets too thick, nutrients and water can’t penetrate to the roots where they are needed. Poke holes in the lawn to improve air circulation and allow water and nutrients to move to the root zone. 2.Fertilize. Give your lawn a boost in the spring, once soil temps reach 55°F. Feed about 4 weeks later, and then every 6-8 weeks during the growing season. A slow release granular fertilizer will help avoid burning the lawn. 3.Mower blades. Keep the blades on your mower sharp, dull blades will “tear” the grass instead of cutting it cleanly and allow water to leave the grass blades more quickly. 4.Mowing height. Only cut the top 1/3 of the grass off at each mowing. Taller grass creates more shade, holding more moisture in the soil. Taller grass also encourages a deeper root system. 5.Grasscycling Allow grass clippings to stay on your lawn instead of bagging them. This helps to recycle nutrients, fertilizing your lawn and also reduces water requirements. Another Alternative to this would be brewing grass clipping tea in big barrel filled with water. Let it sit for a week and then you can feed the nitrogen rich tea back to your lawn. 6.Pet problems. Urine contains acid, and this acid can create brown spots on your lawn. If your pet has a favorite spot in the yard to do his or her business, flush the area with extra water to dilute the acid. 7.Water. Most lawns need 1-1.5” of water a week, from rainfall or sprinklers. It’s best to give your lawn more water, less frequently, to encourage roots to grow deeper. Timing depends on climate and soil type. 8.Crabgrass High temperature will encourage crabgrass to emerge, and try to take over your lawn. The best defense is a dense, healthy stand of grass that is kept at a slightly higher height and fertilized well. Every homeowner wants a gorgeous, green lawn without ugly brown spots. Follow these tips to keep your grass looking its best! What Are The Best Medicare Supplement Plans (Medigap) In 2019?

08:32
Best Medicare supplement plans. Get a free quote: http://medicaresavingscenter.com or call 800-208-4974. This video explains what the best Medicare supplement plans are in 2019. In 2019, the best Medicare supplemental insurance plans are plan F, G and N. Plan G is the #1 plan with plan N and F as runner ups. If you are in CA or another state that has a birthday rule, then going with Plan F to start is usually a good idea. Please refer to my video about Medicare supplement plans in California if you are a resident there. The lower rates and most importantly lower rate increases on Plan G and N make these plans far more superior over Plan F. In almost every case the premium difference between F and G more than covers the only benefit difference which is $183 for the year. For example, the most you would pay out of pocket for the year with Plan G is $183 and the premium difference between F and G is almost always more than $183, thus saving you money. The best way to save money is to allow us to shop the rates for you and ensure you will not be overpaying for your supplement plan. IN addition, by being one of our clients you will have the benefit of annual rate reviews to ensure you will not be in the situation in the future where you are overpaying! As the rates go up over time, the best defense is a broker (us) who will shop the rate each year. Call us at 800-208-4974 for a FREE quote comparison. Our service is always free and the rates are exactly the same weather you go direct to the company or work with us. Carnivore Diet: Why would it work? What about Nutrients and Fiber?

(He started experimenting with low carb paleo about 7 years ago) Website: http://meatheals.com/ This video is a break down of what I thought to be common concerns when it comes to the carnivore diet, recently popularized by Jordan Peterson & His daughter Mikhaila Peterson. Some might call it "extreme" or "dangerous" or "a really bad idea," but is it? Many people are having several health conditions healed by eating this diet, some are having improvements despite having been doing a paleo diet or keto diet. People are having relief from arthritis, psoriasis, and various inflammatory conditions, and yes they are experiencing weight loss too. But what about nutrients? Isn't a lack of vitamin C going to give them all scurvy? What about constipation due to no fiber? And why would cutting out plants heal people? This is what the video addresses. The big lie Republicans are telling this election

Republicans say they protect preexisting conditions, but that’s not what history shows… Subscribe to our channel! http://goo.gl/0bsAjO To learn more about US health care policy, make sure to follow Vox’s health care coverage and subscribe to VoxCare: our health care newsletter edited by Sarah Kliff and Dylan Scott. https://www.vox.com/health-care https://www.vox.com/pages/newsletters When Trump took office the Republicans tried to repeal The Affordable Care Act, but they failed. What became clear during their attempt to get rid of The ACA, also called “Obamacare”, is that people like it. Voters are even supportive of The ACA in red states where voters despise the name “Obama”, but tend to embrace the protections of his health care plan. In particular, protections for pre-existing conditions are very popular amongst American voters. Two years ago, Democrats were clearly in favor of The ACA and Republicans were against it, but now conservatives are having to bend their platforms to account for popular provisions of ACA. The difference between the 2016 campaign platforms and now is stark. In 2018, the midterm elections is shaping around one big question: whether pre-existing protections will be protected. Despite having worked hard to remove protections for nearly a decade, Republicans are now saying they’ll fight to protect them…but what do they really mean when they say that? TOP 10 Tips for CHEAPER Car Insurance - How to get Lower Auto Insurance Rates (2017-2018)

09:55
GET FREE CAR INSURANCE QUOTES: http://lowcostcarinsuranceprice.com/ CLICK HERE Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/kevinhunter7 How do you buy car insurance, and how do I get the best rate on car insurance? You came to the right place. From the Author of "How to Beat the Dealers Finance Office," "Car Scam of the Decade," and "13 Car Buying Mistakes," these are the top ten tips for cheaper car insurance as presented by Kevin Hunter. Would you like to get cheap car insurance rates? Lower auto insurance premiums? From the author of "13 Car Buying Mistakes" Kevin Hunter comes this fantastic video. Do your homework and get multiple quotes. It's your ticket to save you money on car insurance! According to Edmunds: 1. Get more than one rate quote before you commit."Company prices are very different, and it pays to shop around. You can easily wind up paying double from one company to the next," says J. Robert Hunter, director of insurance with the Consumer Federation of America, a national watchdog group.Want to get a sense of who the low-priced carriers are? The National Association of Insurance Commissioners offers a map on its Web site that lists each state's regulators. Click on your state and you're taken to the state's Department of Insurance Web site. Its consumer buying guide compares insurance premiums across a range of companies. You'll also learn how many complaints each company has logged. Surprisingly, you don't have to sacrifice service quality to score a low premium. "A lot of the lower-priced companies have the best service rates," says Hunter. There are a host of independent Web sites, like CarInsurance.com, that allow you to comparison-shop by offering online price quotes. 2. Evaluate insurance costs before you buy your vehicle. The year, make and model of your vehicle can have a profound impact on your insurance rate. All else being equal, new, expensive or sporty cars will cost more to insure than older, cheaper and more utilitarian vehicles. But you could find a substantial discrepancy even when comparing the cost to insure similar cars. So if you've got a few models on your shortlist, contact your carrier to see what rate each vehicle commands. 3. Go high on deductibles. If you're willing to give a little with your deductible, you can wind up saving big on your rates. "If you go from a $250 to a $1,000 deductible, you can save between 25 and 40 percent on your policy," says Hunter. 4. Nix collision and/or comprehensive coverage on older cars.If your older car has comp and collision coverage, you might find yourself paying more in insurance than the car is worth. "Take your comp and collision premium and add it up, then multiply it by 10. If your car is worth less than that, don't buy the coverage," says Hunter. 5. Mind your credit score. An increasing number of carriers are considering credit scores when making rate calculations. "Your credit score can be very important in determining your rate," says Hunter. "You can wind up paying up to 50 percent more if you have a bad credit score." 6. Ask about low-mileage discounts. Many carriers offer discounts to policyholders whose annual mileage is lower than the norm. Maybe you have a short commute. Or maybe your participation in the office vanpool results in fewer hours spent in your daily driver. 7. Ask about group insurance discounts. Oftentimes, insurance companies offer discounts to policyholders who are members of certain organizations or professions, such as veterans, engineers or teachers. 8. Ask about all other discounts. Some carriers offer discounts to policyholders whose vehicles bear certain safety features, like anti-theft devices or motorized seatbelts. Others give reduced rates to senior citizens, and to students whose grades meet certain requirements. "Many carriers offer discounts. Ask for them when you're shopping," says Hunter. 9. Avoid lapses in coverage. Even a brief lapse in coverage can disqualify you from receiving discounts. "They use lapses in coverage to increase your premium," says Hunter. Pay your insurance bills on time. 10. Think twice about paying in installments. Most carriers charge an administration fee to pay in installments. One carrier surveyed levied a $10 charge per installment to those who opted to break up their bill. The solution? Pay your premium up front, if at all possible. Of course, this charge is more significant for those with small premiums. If you've ever seen "The £26 a YEAR car insurance man - Martin Lewis" you're going to enjoy this video. Turning 65? Original Medicare Doesn't Cover Everything Oh My! - Video

03:54
How does original Medicare work? Are you turning 65? Enrolling in Medicare? Medicare doesn't cover everything. Here is a partial list of what is not paid by Medicare. Watch our videos! Bob Vineyard, insurance agent https://www.youtube.com/c/GeorgiaMedicarePlans Routine dental care, dentures, crowns, bridges, routine eye exams, eyeglasses, contacts, cosmetic surgery unrelated to illness or injury, OTC vitamins and supplements, hearing exams, hearing aids, long term care, medical treatment outside the country. Most of these items were not covered by your employer group health plan either. Things like vision, dental and hearing were covered by insurance plans OTHER THAN your major medical. You probably had a separate plan for dental and another for vision care. Different policy. Different insurance carrier. In many cases you can purchase separate insurance coverage for the following. - dental care - vision care - contacts - eyeglasses - hearing exams and hearing aids - hearing loss - international travel medical - hospital indemnity - cancer plans - critical illness The list goes on. But before spending good money on these kinds of insurance, ask yourself if you really need it? Do you need to spend $40 - $60 per month for a dental plan that limits your annual benefit to $1,000? Do you need to pay monthly premiums of $50 per month for a plan that pays $600 per day for inpatient care only? Most people would be better off stuffing that money in a mattress than paying for additional insurance that may never pay off. Part B is for outpatient health care treatment. Doctor visits, labs, X-rays, MRI, CT scan (CAT scan), ambulance, ER, outpatient clinics, etc. Essentially any Medicare approved health care received outside the hospital setting. Treatment considered medically necessary under Medicare guidelines. Medicare Part B has a calendar year deductible. Once satisfied, Medicare pays 80% of the approved charge, you are responsible for the remaining 20%. Most seniors worry about hospital stays, but your major expenses will more than likely fall under Medicare Part B outpatient expenses. Original Medicare stand alone has no cap on your out of pocket expenses. You pay until you run out of money, get well or die. The American Cancer Society tells us that more than half the 1.4 million new cancer diagnoses occur in people age 65 and older. Roughly 20% of retiree deaths are a result of cancer. Medicare pays for almost half of the $74 billion spent on cancer treatment. The elderly account for 70% of cancer deaths each year. Not all cancer responds to chemotherapy, but 80% of cancers are treated with chemo. Those treatments occur in an outpatient setting and are covered under Medicare Part B. Chemotherapy drugs administered in a doctor's office or clinic normally fall under Part B. Medication from a retail pharmacy or by mail fall under your PDP. This is why most of us chose a Medicare supplement plan in 2018. Bob Vineyard, independent Medicare insurance broker in Georgia, can explain your Georgia Medicare insurance options and will allow you to decide. We represent several carriers including Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Humana and more. According to the Mayo clinic, "new cancer treatments are routinely priced at over $100,000 per year of treatment." https://www.policymed.com/2018/07/mayo-clinic-releases-paper-on-cancer-drug-pricing-economic-trade-offs.html I enrolled in Medicare in September, 2015. Cancer is a word I know too well. My mothers twin sister and older sister died of cancer. My wife’s father and mother died because of cancer. All 5 of my father-in-laws siblings died of cancer. Two of my mother-in-laws siblings died of cancer. I have seen what cancer can do to the human body and the misery that accompanies this dread illness. If you are diagnosed with cancer, the last thing on your mind should not be “How will I pay for my treatment?” I know how quickly things can change. When my health changes I want to control the direction of my care. Insurance carriers are not going to give me a list of doctors and tell me this year I can only use these, and next year the list may change. Some cancer centers do not accept ANY Medicare Advantage plans. A study from the Medicare Rights discovered the number one reason for disenrolling from a Medicare Advantage plan was “provider access problems”. Number 4 on the list was “cost sharing too high”. Housing and Health Care: Partners in Healthy Aging

03:36
For more information, please visit http://www.leadingage.org/housinghealth/ Providers of affordable senior housing want to help older adults remain healthy and independent for as long as possible. Health care entities like hospitals and physicians want the same thing. Working together, housing and health care partners can launch initiatives that lead to improved health, safety and quality of life for low-income older adults facing multiple health and social challenges. How do housing-health partnerships work? How can you implement them and ensure their success? Our Housing and Health Partnerships toolkit can help you answer these questions. The following is the transcript of the video: Meet Clara Johnson. Clara is 82 years old. She lives in an affordable senior housing community in Cleveland, Ohio. Here’s what Clara’s primary care physician knows about her: • She has high blood pressure and high cholesterol. • She’s had diabetes for many years. • She had a hip replacement a while back. And here’s what the staff of Clara’s housing community know about her: • Clara has to pinch pennies so her $900 social security check will last an entire month. • Even so, her refrigerator often looks pretty bare by the time her next check arrives. • Clara takes 8 prescription drugs every day – at least she’s supposed to. Sometimes she forgets or gets mixed up. • Clara doesn’t always understand her doctor’s instructions. But she’s too embarrassed to tell him. • Clara’s daughter visits her every few weeks. Why does the staff at Clara’s housing property know more about her life than her doctor does? It’s simple mathematics. Clara spends about 15 minutes a month talking with her doctor. The rest of the time—about 719 hours—she spends living her life. Most of that living takes place at home. And, in Clara’s home, she’s constantly interacting with people who want to help her. • Clara often meets her friends down in the lobby of her building. Sometimes they join an activity organized by the housing property. Sometimes, they just sit and chat. Either way, when Clara’s friends don’t see her, they knock on her door. • Clara enjoys talking with her building’s maintenance staff. She’s known them for years. And they’ve gotten really good at noticing if Clara’s not acting like her normal self. • The housing property’s service coordinator checks in regularly to see how Clara’s doing. She’s connected Clara with Meals on Wheels and helped her find transportation to her doctor and pharmacy. Affordable senior housing properties are filled with people like Clara – people whose health complications and social circumstances make it more likely that they will be frequent users of expensive services like hospitals and emergency rooms. It doesn’t have to be this way. Research suggests that health outcomes are much better when health care providers collaborate with affordable senior housing providers to help vulnerable, low-income older adults manage their health. This is true for many reasons: • Affordable senior housing properties give physicians, hospitals and health plans the opportunity to reach many people in one location. • Health care providers can collaborate with trusted housing staff to help monitor individuals, support them after a hospital stay, and help them access valuable services and resources. • Health care providers can send a nurse to the housing property a few days a week. That nurse can offer one-on-one health education. She can monitor vital signs and reconcile medications. She can even help coordinate medical care. • Housing and health staff can work together to offer fitness programs or education sessions on a variety of topics – like how to manage chronic conditions or eat a healthy diet. • Finally, health care systems and hospitals can meet their social accountability obligations by addressing community health needs through formal partnerships with mission-driven affordable senior housing properties. There are so many ways for housing and health care providers to work together. But there’s one bottom line. Housing and health partnerships give us all a better way to address the health needs of low-income seniors. And that will make America a better place to grow old. If they keep control of Congress you better believe they're coming after your health care." 5. SOUNDBITE (English) Barack Obama, Former President: +++black between soundbites++ "So if you want change, Andrew Gillum will expand Medicaid coverage. Obama visited vote-rich south Florida as the midterm election nears. Nelson is being challenged by current governor Rick Scott and is in a close re-election effort.   Obama said if the Republicans win the midterm elections and are able to keep control of Congress, they will vote to overturn the Affordable Care Act, one of the former president's signature pieces of legislation that expanded health care coverage. Georgia Non-Profit Stands Up for Better

02:27
This movement to stand up while you work began back in January and there was no master plan or workplace wellness program. There was just one guy who decided he'd had enough of sitting around. This all started with Karl Smith, the new guy here at the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential - Or GCAPP. He realized - for an active guy - in charge of the non-profit's Power Moves program? He was doing a lot of sitting. "My back started hurting when I laid down, my shoulder was slumping over, I felt like my posture was changing," said Smith So, Karl thought, why not stand up? Lose the chair. And the shoes. So, he did. And almost immediately, the back pain, and the shoulder tightness? Disappeared. "This is easier than sitting, this makes me more productive. I have a better outlook on my day," said Smith. Soon, Shelley Francis wanted in. "The first thing that came to my mind, was whoa that was really cool!” said Frances. Frances was already using a Pilates ball chair. Standing on a cushioned mat seemed like the logical next step. "It feels really good when you take your shoes off and you're comfortable, and you do this. And we also use a Bluetooth earpiece so we can work hands free," said Frances. Frances got GCAPP's CEO and president Kim Nolte on her feet. Now everyone at GCAPP is standing. Refitting each desk set the Atlanta non -profit back just $100. "I feel more energetic. And I just feel good, standing up or walking around and I don't feel as sluggish as if I was sitting around all day," said Frances. Last week, GCAPP's founder, Jane Fonda dropped by. She says GCAPP is about empowering teens to make healthier choices. So, this - this is GCAPP walking the talk, "Well, when I came in this morning, people were dancing, and that made me feel really good,” said Fonda. "It's a little unusual, right, to look at the cubicles and see people standing up." Unusual, maybe. But Karl Smith loves it. "And physically I'm feeling better. And I have more energy, too. Just standing up, having that blood flow," said Smith. Some staffers alternate between standing and sitting, but they average about five hours of standing a day. And standing burns more calories than sitting, so that's a plus, too.

Step 2: Bring the necessary paperwork Bring your identification, Social Security card, proof of address, proof of income and bank statements, and medical bills to your appointment. Tip Each state's eligibility requirements and application processes vary, so make sure you ask if there are state-specific things you should bring to your appointment. Step 3: Fill out application Fill out the Medicaid application. You may have to fill it out in the office, although some states also let you apply on the internet, by telephone, or in person at other locations. Step 4: Get interviewed Attend your appointment and answer all questions honestly and to the best of your knowledge. Be prepared to answer financial questions. Step 5: Wait for the decision Wait for a decision, which you will receive in the mail. Turning 65? Why do I need a Medicare Insurance Broker? Video

02:09
Turning 65? Do I really need an insurance agent to help me find a Medicare plan? Can’t I do it myself direct with a carrier or through an insurance carrier? Why do I need to pay a broker a big commission to find a plan. How are Medicare insurance agents compensated video. https://youtu.be/tB5YE_NH0o4 Medicare is simple. All I have to do is go online to Medicare.gov and everything I need to know is right there. I never have to talk to insurance agents or carrier reps. Everything I need to know about Medicare is available for free from the government. If only it were that easy …………………. Bob Vineyard spends a lot of time online, answering consumer questions in public forums, responding to inquiries from clients and strangers. He also posts information on blogs and Facebook pages. People think Medicare is simple. They are wrong. In the last 3 years, I have answered quite literally thousands of questions by phone and email. Sometimes I can help people save money by switching their coverage around. Sometimes not. Often I can point out ways to save thousands of dollars each year by making a few simple changes in their drug coverage. Last year I helped two clients save over $4,000 per year on their drug plans alone. Regardless of your situation, you will always come away with a better understanding of what Medicare is, how it works, what you have and what your options are. Call me. I want to help. (404) 252-5859 Both Medigap and Advantage plans cover the same types of medical treatment, but what you pay out of pocket for your care, and where you receive your care, is very different. Advantage plans are managed care plans. Some are PPO, some are HMO. In 2018 about half the plans are HMO with the balance being PPO. If you receive non-emergency out of network care under a PPO you may have higher copay’s and deductibles. Your max OOP may also be higher. Some plans do not cap out of network charges. Non-emergency out of network care charges may be denied if you have an HMO. In 2018 most Advantage plans issued in Georgia limit your out of pocket for approved in network health care expenses to $6700. Some cancer centers, such as Mayo Clinic and MD Anderson do not participate in Medicare Advantage plans. According to the Mayo clinic, "new cancer treatments are routinely priced at over $100,000 per year of treatment." Original Medicare has 4 parts. Medicare Part A covers hospital inpatient charges and has a per admission deductible Medicare Part B is for outpatient health care treatment. Medicare Part C is now referred to as Medicare Advantage. More on that later. Medicare Part D covers outpatient prescription drugs. Some Advantage plans have drug coverage built into the plan. HMOs, PPOs and HDHPs

03:21
Medical plans differ in how much you pay out of your paycheck versus how much you pay at the doctor and how much freedom you have in choosing a doctor. Different types of medical plans vary in their monthly costs as well as their requirements for choosing specific doctors. An HMO, or Health Maintenance Organization, has a lower monthly premiums, but also provides a limited amount of doctors to choose from. You must designate a Primary Care Physician and receive a referral to see any other doctors or specialists. A PPO, or Preferred Provider Organization, has a higher monthly premium, but allows you greater freedom to choose your medical care provider. PPOs don’t require a primary care physician, so you can go directly to a specialist. An HDHP, or High Deductible Health Plan, offers the least expensive monthly premium, but requires you to pay all medical expenses up to a certain deductible amount. Like a PPO, HDHPs do not require a primary care physician. HDHPs are often attached to a Health Savings Account that allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars for out-of-pocket health expenses, which helps to cover the cost of a high deductible.

03:47
Medicare Advantage plans have a secret life. The carrier won’t tell you. Neither will the agent. Click SHOW MORE for time stamps If you knew these secrets you might change your mind about signing up for one. Time Stamps 0:30 How can they be free? 1:00 I get calls 1:25 Get back on original Medicare 1:50 When are seniors most likely to LEAVE Advantage plans? 2:20 Advantage plans have thin networks Consider this. Why does if Medicare Advantage plans are so great, why does Medicare give you an escape clause? Why do some agents that sell you on the idea of an Advantage plan tell you to throw away your red, white and blue Medicare card? Why do agents push Medicare Advantage plans so much? Is there something you need to know that they aren’t telling? Do these Advantage plans really have a secret life? And how can they push these “Free” Medicare Plans? What’s the catch? Why is turning 65 so difficult when it comes to Medicare? Watch our video. There is no free lunch. There are no free Medicare plans. In fact, Medicare prohibits the use of the term “free” when referring to Medicare Advantage plans. Instead, they are called “no premium” or “zero premium” plans. How can that be? How can you pay no monthly premium (not including other out-of-pocket costs) and be enrolled in a plan that pays your claims and offers additional benefits? Medicare Advantage plans contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to take the financial responsibility for Medicare beneficiaries who enroll in their plans. In other words, you show your Medicare Advantage card when you get services as opposed to your red, white, and blue Medicare card. Since Medicare is no longer paying for your claims, the federal government pays a monthly amount (flat fee) to the insurance company to cover the costs of providing your health-care coverage. That monthly fee varies based on a member’s risk factors. Is Medicare Advantage the right choice for you? That is something you will need to decide once you have all the facts Both Medigap and Advantage plans cover the same types of medical treatment, but what you pay out of pocket for your care, and where you receive your care, is very different. Some cancer centers, such as Mayo Clinic and MD Anderson do not participate in Medicare Advantage plans. According to the Mayo clinic, "new cancer treatments are routinely priced at over $100,000 per year of treatment." The US medical system is still haunted by slavery

Black women's history matters in medicine. Read ProPublica's feature piece on how the US is the most dangerous industrialized country in which to give birth, and racial disparities in maternal mortality make it even worse for women of color: https://www.propublica.org/article/nothing-protects-black-women-from-dying-in-pregnancy-and-childbirth And they're seeking your help in understanding the problem. The error has been fixed. UPDATE: On Tuesday, April 17, 2018 — New York removed the statue of J. REACH Health: Stroke care within REACH, McDuffie county, GA

07:43
Exceptional delivery of Stroke Care in a remote Emergency Department, McDuffie County, Georgia. Each year, approximately 795,000 stroke cases are registered in the United States. 96 to 98% of these cases do not receive timely stroke treatment because of insufficient access to neurological expertise at the local hospitals. Considering that stroke is the leading cause of disability and the third leading cause of death, the ability to treat patients quickly can limit or eliminate the long term costs and complications associated with stroke. REACH Health is shifting the paradigm of stroke care by enabling hospitals to bring the highest standards of stroke care right to the patient, thereby reducing treatment time and healthcare costs. REACH Health's technology provides physicians with an integrated suite of decision support tools, patient images, and live audio/video all over the Web so they can treat the patient remotely, using just a PC, regardless of distance. While the national average for onset to treatment times for stroke is 145 minutes, physicians using REACH have been able to reduce treatment time to 128 minutes. The REACH solution fosters: • Better care and outcomes for patients in underserved areas • Well-informed stroke consults with decision support algorithms • Increased revenue opportunities with stronger referral networks Site: http://www.reachhealth.com
