See how my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: ►►►http://drsam.co/yt/StartLoweringYourCholesterolNaturally =============================== 5 Worst High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid [Clinically Proven] =============================== Cholesterol has many benefits and it’s definitely NOT your “enemy”. In fact, “low” cholesterol is just as bad as “high” cholesterol levels. However, there are certain foods that are really bad for you and can quickly increase your “bad” cholesterol levels and dramatically increase your risk for heart disease, a heart attack or stroke. Under this video I’ve got a special bonus video about how you can quickly lower your cholesterol levels in less than 30 days, naturally - without changing your diet or exercising. So make sure you take a look... However, let’s first start with the 5 worsts, clinically proven - “high cholesterol” foods that you must avoid! Dairy I’ve been saying this for over 2 decades - Milk is for babies and cow milk is for baby cows! Additionally, 99% of dairy products are pasteurized, which kills any benefits milk could have. Not to mention, the toxins, hormones and drugs these animals are given are highly concentrated in the milk - which goes inside of YOU! All of these factors, plus the saturated fat inside milk, increases your cholesterol and stresses your liver. It doesn’t matter if it’s whole, low or nonfat dairy, it’s all the same. Unfortunately, this also includes two of my favorite foods, ice cream and cheese! Fast Foods It doesn’t matter if it’s a burger, tacos, french fries, pizza or anything else - they’re all high in carbohydrates, hydrogenated and saturated fats, using unhealthy and toxic proteins. It’s cheap food. It may be easy and good for your wallet, but it’s bad for your health and cholesterol levels and you’ll pay the price later in life. Animal Protein The saturated fats and “marble fat” found in meat, pork, poultry and shell-fish is horrible for your health and cholesterol levels. I’ve noticed even grass-fed meat and free-range poultry can still cause high cholesterol in some of my patients, especially the “sensitive” ones. Limit your intake and focus more on vegetable proteins and fish - especially wild-caught salmon. Eggs Eggs can be good or bad. All the cholesterol and fat is located in the egg YOLK, which is why most “experts” say you should only consume egg whites. However, most of the nutrients, antioxidants and half the essential amino acids (protein) are also found in the yolk. The problem is when you COOK the yolk - such as hard-boiled, scrambled and fried eggs. The heat oxidizes the egg and damages both the structure of the protein and fat. So the healthiest way to eat eggs is raw or lightly cooked, so the yolk is still runny. Don’t fry it with butter or vegetable fats. And make sure it’s organic, free-range eggs. Baked Foods/Carbs (Snacks Too) Baked foods such as muffins, cakes, breads, donuts, croissants, rolls, cookies, danishes, scones, pie, etc… The types of foods most people eat in the morning when they’re in a rush, or with their coffee or at work as a snack… These are all bad because they contain hydrogenated and saturated fats, as well as dairy. Not to mention, they’re high in simple carbohydrates and sugars. “Bad” fats increase cholesterol. “Bad” fats + carbs/sugar REALLY increase your cholesterol and lead to numerous health issues. The combination is super unhealthy. Under this same category -- “Snack Foods” such as chips, pretzels, crackers and similar items are almost as bad as these bakes foods. 8 Foods That Can Cause High Cholesterol. According to the American Heart Association (AHA), saturated fat and fat transfer can increase cholesterol levels in the blood, leaving you at risk for heart disease. Many foods from animals-such as meat and dairy products that contain fat-containing saturated fats, while the baked products and fast food contains trans fats because the levels of LDL cholesterol ("bad") in particular may be too high for many dietary substances saturated fat, the AHA recommends that saturated fat occupies from 5 to 6% of your calories. Although it is important to limit the amount of cholesterol you get from food, which is a combination of fat and carbohydrates can have the greatest impact to your blood cholesterol levels. According to the AHA, you can make the egg becomes a part of a healthy diet, as long as you don't load the cholesterol from other sources, such as meat containing fat or skin and visible fat milk. However, before you purchase the double cheeseburger, consider this: A McDonald's Big Mac contains 10 grams of saturated fat and a Wendy's Classic Double With Everything has a whopping 20g saturated fat (which is the recommended maximum amount each day). By replacing 1% milk and evaporated milk for whole milk and butter and using reduced-fat cheese, you can reduce the amount of calories and have pasta and cheese with about a third of the fat and saturated fat than formula tradition. Whipped cream beats biscuits and candies such as the most common desserts; but did you know that a cup of single cream has more fat than burgers and almost twice the saturated fat of glazed cake?. Even in the best case (cooked in olive oil after the fat be trimmed), a 4 ounce steak (just a little larger than a card pieces) accounted for a large part of the level of the recommended daily allowance for saturated fat. For example, a chicken leg with the skin still on it has more fat and saturated fat than a hamburger. The fat is the result of the addition of hydrogen to vegetable oil, which are then used in many commercial baking goods or fried foods such as biscuits, cakes, French fries, onions and biscuits.

Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance that’s found in all cells of the body. Our bodies need cholesterol to make hormones that protect the body, vitamin D and bile salts that are necessary for the breakdown of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Plus, the brain and nervous system depend on cholesterol for the creation of neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. Our bodies make the cholesterol that we need, but we get cholesterol from our food too. If you have too much cholesterol, it starts to build up in your arteries and may lead to atherosclerosis, or the hardening of the arteries. Here is a list of 10 foods to avoid if you have a Cholesterol. 01:02 Macaroni And Cheese. 02:05 Egg Yolks. 03:09 Red Meats. 04:07 Milk and Other Conventional Dairy Products. 05:06 ice cream. 06:03 Canola Oil and Other Processed Vegetable Oils. 07:02 Cookies and Other Sugary Treats. 08:01 Bacon and Other Processed Meats. 09:08 Processed Meats. 10:01 Potato Chips and Other Packaged Foods. Macaroni and cheese are necessary to limit among the foods high in cholesterol to avoid. We all know that the main macaroni and cheese ingredients include cheese, butter, and whole milk. Many types of cheese are rich in cholesterol with about from 7 to 11% daily value for cholesterol per ounce. One of the most common foods high in cholesterol to avoid is egg yolks. We know that eggs are always a good choice for breakfast as it contains a lot of nutrients that is necessary for the body. But they are also rich in cholesterol that is not good for the people with heart disease and high cholesterol levels. Red meats are a good food for the health in general. But for the people with high cholesterol levels, they are the foods high in cholesterol to avoid. These meats like pork, lamb, and beef often have more saturated fat and cholesterol than other meats. Milk fat contains a broad range of fatty acids, and some have a negative impact on cholesterol-rich lipoproteins. The saturated fatty acids, such as lauric acid and myristic acid, increase total plasma cholesterol, especially LDL. In a cup of rich chocolate ice-cream, there are 15.36 grams of saturated fat which makes up almost a full day’s supply. This means once you consume one cup of rich chocolate ice cream, other sources of saturated fat such as meat, cheese, milk and other animal products should be avoided. When canola oil undergoes hydrogenation, which it often does to become a partially hydrogenated oil, this increases its level of trans fats. These are a group of fats that you want to avoid as much as possible since they’re scientifically known to increase LDL cholesterol and lower HDL cholesterol levels. Dietary sugars serve as the cause of obesity, several chronic diseases and a range of cardiometabolic risk factors. Today in the U.S., over 75 percent of packaged and processed foods contain some form of added sugar. Recent studies have shown that processed meats are associated with increased cardiovascular disease and stroke mortality. Evidence suggests that processed meat consumption increases the risk of heart health issues, while unprocessed meat consumption has a small or no association with cardiovascular disease. The processed meats like bacon, sausages, ham, beef sticks are high in cholesterol. These foods are very common and eaten with bread and hamburger. They are considered as a good choice for the busy people. But you should avoid these foods. Extensive research evaluates the rise in snacking, snack foods and ultra-processed foods in the American diet. Some studies show that 66 percent of calories consumed by U.S. citizens comes from packaged foods and beverages. Maybe your doctor's telling you that you're doing something terribly wrong. Maybe he's telling you you need to get off that ketogenic diet because your cholesterol levels are high. Maybe you're just scared. Maybe you're just concerned as to why they're higher, or maybe you're trying to be proactive and trying to understand why they might get higher. In this video, I'm going to help you understand that higher levels of cholesterol on a ketogenic diet could very well mean a very, very good and rather cool thing. You see, we have to remember that we're on a ketogenic diet. Everything is surrounding fats. We're eating a lot of fats, we're metabolizing fats, we're going to have more lipids and we're going to have more cholesterols in the bloodstream, plain and simple. We have to remember that. What's interesting is that higher levels of cholesterol on a ketogenic diet are being linked and associated with weight loss. Believe it or not, once weight loss starts and fatty acid metabolism really kicks in, we see an increase in cholesterol. So it usually means that you're having an influx of weight loss occurring at that very point in time. You see, as fat starts to break down, cholesterol goes up, and it has to do with the fact that triglycerides are mobilized and they end up getting broken down into fuel but the cholesterol just kind of hangs out. The cholesterol doesn't really get burned for fuel. It's not metabolized like that. It's not energy. So what it does, it ends up sitting in the bloodstream, waiting to get recycled by the liver. It's not doing anything good or doing anything bad. It's just elevated and it's usually indicative of the fact that your body is using a little bit more fat for fuel at that very point in time. So you will find it's a temporary increase and once the weight loss starts to plateau a little bit and starts to slow down, your cholesterol levels will probably start to come down. You've probably seen an increase in both your HDL and your LDL, and it just has to do with the fact that both of them are mobilized. On that note, we have to understand HDL and LDL and the relationship with ketosis, and once you understand this, everything's going to make a lot more sense and I can almost guarantee you're going to come out of this video overall feeling a lot less stressed out about this situation. First off, HDL and LDL, they're not even cholesterols. They're transport vehicles. They deliver cholesterols. So you've got high density lipoprotein and low density lipoprotein. Low density lipoprotein, the "bad cholesterol" delivers nutrients. It delivers cholesterol, delivers fat and fat-soluble nutrients to the cell. Very important, but for some reason it gets a bad rap. Then we have HDL. HDL's job is to go around and pick up waste particles or used LDL, particles of LDL, and take them back to the liver for recycling. So somewhere along the lines, messages got going to confused. For some reason we think that LDL is bad because it's delivering fat, even though it's totally important. For some reason we think that purely recycling that fat is the only good thing that should be occurring. How my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/Normal-Cholesterol Or you can see the most powerful fruit for lowering cholesterol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYFY4Vl19Fo ======================================= 🥛 NEVER Eat These 5 Foods If You Want To Lower High Cholesterol ======================================= Heart disease is the #1 killer in the world and has been for decades. Many people think that high cholesterol is the cause - but it’s not. It’s just ONE of many factors. Sadly, doctors immediately try to prescribe you cholesterol lowering statin drugs when there’s no need. High AND low cholesterol are both bad for your health. Cholesterol is needed for hormone production and every single cell in your body needs cholesterol - including brain cells. Unfortunately, many people eat what they think are “healthy foods”, but are actually not good for them and are causing high cholesterol levels. So today I’m going to reveal 5 foods you should avoid, especially if you want to have HEALTHY cholesterol levels: 1 - Baked Foods/Carbs Stay away from baked foods like muffins, cakes, breads, donuts, croissants, rolls, cookies, danishes, scones, pie, etc… As well as “packaged” foods such as chips, pretzels, crackers and similar items These are all bad because they contain hydrogenated and saturated fats, as well as dairy. Not to mention, they’re high in simple carbohydrates and sugars. The combination of fats and sugars in these foods increases cholesterol and plaque buildup even more, in addition to higher triglycerides, inflammation, high blood sugar and blood pressure. ALL of these combined is what causes heart disease. 2 - DAIRY I’m a firm believe that regardless of anything you read, you should stay away from dairy or at least limit it. This is because milk is for babies and cow milk is for baby cows. We are the only animals who continue to consume milk products after the initial “baby” stage. It’s NOT natural. Besides, 99% of dairy products are pasteurized, which kills any benefits milk could have. Not to mention, the toxins, hormones and drugs these animals are given are highly concentrated in the milk - which goes inside of YOU! These toxins stress your liver and cause an increase in cholesterol. Remember, 80% of your cholesterol is made IN YOUR LIVER. 3 - Animal Protein The saturated fats and “marble fat” found in meat, pork, poultry and shellfish is horrible for your health and cholesterol levels. I’ve noticed even grass-fed meat and free-range poultry can still cause high cholesterol in some of my patients, especially the “sensitive” ones. Limit your intake and focus more on vegetable proteins and fish - especially wild-caught salmon. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/food-and-nutrition/NU00202 4 - Fast Foods It doesn’t matter if it’s a burger, tacos, french fries, pizza or anything else - they’re all high in carbohydrates, hydrogenated, saturated and omega 6 fats, using unhealthy and toxic proteins. It may be easy and good for your wallet because they’re cheap foods -- but it’s bad for your health and cholesterol levels and you’ll pay a higher price later in life. http://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/Conditions/Cholesterol/PreventionTreatmentofHighCholesterol/Cooking-for-Lower-Cholesterol_UCM_305630_Article.jsp#.WCd_XySlGFU 5 - Eggs Eggs can be good or bad. The heat oxidizes the egg and damages the structure of the fat. However, the egg yolk can actually increase your “good” HDL cholesterol and this is done when you eat the yolk that’s still soft and runny. Raw eggs are great or soft boiled. Make sure it’s organic, pastured, free-range eggs. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Please feel free to comment, like or share with your friends. Why is it so important to keep cholesterol at the normal levels and how to maintain it within the health limits? Cholesterol is a vital, fat-like substance that is contained in each cell of our body, as well as in our blood. Most of the cholesterol is produced by the liver, and the rest is procured through food. Please subscribe, click the bell and watch this video until the end to know the complete information. Cholesterol has extremely important reasons for our body and functions: it participates in the construction of cell membranes and in the formation of sexes and adrenal hormones; without cholesterol, the body can not synthesize vitamin D, which is indispensable to healthy bones, nor produces bile acid, without which fat in the body cannot be processed properly. When an excess of cholesterol accumulates in the body, it can not be broken down and this increases the risks to our health. The main danger is the onset of atherosclerosis, which in turn is the cause of most cardiovascular diseases such as a heart attack for example. The causes of increased levels of cholesterol in the blood are different: hereditary predisposition, chronic liver disease thyroid gland and diabetes. A sure way to maintain a normal cholesterol level is regular testing. Specialists recommend except for total, to monitor still poor (LDL) and good (HDL) cholesterol, as well as triglycerides. It is known that 20 years is the age in which the first examination for determining the values of cholesterol should be done. Revealed in time, increased cholesterol can be overcome and can not lead to serious health problems later. Here are 6 signs that you may have high cholesterol. 1. yellow growths on your eyelids. Did you know that yellowish eyelid can be a sign of high cholesterol? Take a good look at the eyelids, if you notice yellow spots, make a doctor’s appointment, check your cholesterol levels and your heart’s health. Also, do you notice painless yellow growths of the upper and lower eyelids? This phenomenon is called “xanthelasma” and it is a clear indication that you have high blood cholesterol levels. 2. gray-colored ring around your cornea. Often this is a sign of aging, so it should not be a cause for worry. But if you are far from retired, the gray circle around the iris may indicate high cholesterol and blood fat, which very often means a risk of heart attack or stroke. This gray colored ring or lacquer is actually composed of cholesterol that collects in the deeper parts of your cornea. 3. tingling sensation in the hands and feet. The tingling sensation of the hands and feet may indicate a problem in your body. This should be taken seriously because these symptoms can be caused by serious health problems. If the blood vessels are blocked by cholesterol, it is likely that you will feel tingling in your hands and feet, because your peripheral nerves are not getting do enough blood oxygen and nutrients for their proper functioning. 4. pain in the neck and back of the head. Because cholesterol levels that are too high can cause some of your blood vessels to block, it’s very possible that your circulation is obstructed. Such can leave your neck sensitive and deteriorate from time to time. The shoulder can also be felt in the same way. Medical practitioners say that high blood cholesterol levels can also make you have a headache, especially in the back of your head. 5. rapid or pounding beating of the heart. When a person says that she has heart palpitations, she thinks of the inner feeling that her heart beats something different from the usual one. Or, it simply has the awareness of the heartbeat. Most of the time, heart palpitations are harmless and they are often experienced after exercise or engaging in the intense physical activity. Sometimes they are due to anxiety, stress, and the intake of certain drugs. Palpitations may also indicate problems with the cardiovascular system, but and high cholesterol levels are one of them. Clogging the blood vessels due to cholesterol can lead to an accelerated operation of your heart. 6. unhealthy diet and lifestyle. If you eat plenty of fatty foods and avoid fruits and vegetables that contain a lot of fiber if you are a smoker and if you drink alcohol in excessive amounts, if you are overweight and do not exercise regularly, then there is a great chance that your cholesterol level is already high. If you have high cholesterol or are at risk of developing it, there are foods you will want to avoid so that you can maintain healthy cholesterol levels and improve your overall cardiovascular health. Not only will avoiding these high cholesterol foods help lower your cholesterol levels, but they can also help to reduce inflammation that can reduce the risk of heart disease and also help with weight loss. Now, lets discuss some foods you will want to avoid if you have high cholesterol or want to limit your chances of developing it. 1. First, processed meats such as deli meats and bacon should be avoided for high cholesterol. There have been a number of studies that have shown that processed meats have been associated with elevated cholesterol levels, as well as an increase in cardiovascular disease. Processed meats such as bacon, sausage and hot dogs should all be avoided if you want to reduce your risk of heart disease and lower cholesterol levels. To make matters worse, these processed meats are often high in saturated and trans fats, as well as sodium, which can be a major detriment to your cholesterol levels and overall heart health. 2. You will want to avoid processed vegetable oils as well as they can increase your cholesterol levels. Hydrogenated oils can be especially bad for your cholesterol levels since they contain high levels of trans fats. Many studies have shown that these trans fats increase “bad” LDL cholesterol levels while also lowering “good” HDL cholesterol. Other oils that you may want to avoid when it comes to cholesterol is corn oil and vegetable oil, as these oils can also raise both total and LDL cholesterol levels. 3. Almost everyone enjoyed cookies and other baked goods. However, these high sugar products can wreak havoc on your overall cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels and should be avoided if you want to maintain healthy cholesterol levels. Research shows that sugar and added sugars are associated with increased “bad” LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in the body. Not only that, but these sugars will lower the “good” HDL cholesterol in your body as well. Baked goods aren’t the only high sugar foods you will want to avoid for high cholesterol, but sweetened drinks such as soda and fruit juices can also lead to undesired cholesterol levels, as well as increase inflammation and the risk of heart disease. 4. Surprising to some, but refined grain products and other refined carbohydrates can also have negative consequences on cholesterol and should be avoided as best you can. Foods such as bagels, white pasta and white bread can all negatively effect your “bad” LDL cholesterol levels. As studies have shown, these refined grains and carbohydrates have a high glycemic index rating, which can significantly raise your cholesterol levels and risk for heart disease. 5. Lastly, if you want to reduce your risk of high cholesterol or if you have high cholesterol currently, you will want to avoid high fat dairy products. High fat milk and dairy products contain fatty acids, and many of these products can have a negative impact on your cholesterol. The saturated and trans fats found in these dairy products can increase total plasma cholesterol levels, especially “bad” LDL cholesterol. As well, you will want to avoid these dairy products as they will not only increase cholesterol levels, but also increase your risk of heart disease, inflammation and weight gain. How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/LowerBPNow 5 Best Foods For Lowering Your Blood Pressure, Naturally: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/FoodsLoweringBP Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/SurprisingHBPFacts And the clinical studies can be seen here: 1. http://www.cdc.gov/bloodpressure/facts.htm 2. http://openheart.bmj.com/content/1/1/e000167 3. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2005/06/14/calories-america.aspx ======================================= 🌽 #1 Food That Causes High Blood Pressure ======================================= If you didn’t already know, at least ⅓ of US adults have high blood pressure. And having hypertension is one of the leading causes of a heart attack or stroke.(1) Now, there are lots of ways to naturally lower your blood pressure and under this video, in the description area, I’ve listed some of my favorites. However, don’t go there yet because most people, including doctors, mistakenly consume less salt to lower blood pressure. However, low-salt diets typically don’t make much of a difference. What does make a big difference is lowering sugar in your diet and more specifically, “high fructose corn syrup” In a recent study in the journal Open Heart (2), the authors write: “Evidence from epidemiological studies and experimental trials in animals and humans suggests that added sugars, particularly fructose, may increase blood pressure and blood pressure variability, increase heart rate and myocardial oxygen demand, and contribute to inflammation, insulin resistance and broader metabolic dysfunction. Thus, while there is no argument that recommendations to reduce consumption of processed foods are highly appropriate and advisable, the arguments in this review are that the benefits of such recommendations have less to do with sodium—minimally related to blood pressure and perhaps even inversely related to cardiovascular risk—and more to do with highly-refined carbohydrates and sugars." The Problem Started In The 1970s Food and beverage manufacturers began switching their sweeteners from sucrose (table sugar) to corn syrup in the 1970s when they discovered that High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) was far cheaper to use in their products. In fact, HFCS is the #1 source of calories in America!!!( 3) It’s found in almost everything you can think of. More specifically, in sodas and fruit juices. But also in many pre-packaged foods. This also includes “healthy sugars” sweetened with agave. My Proven “Prescription” and Recommendation For You You must do your best to limit and eliminate all HFCS and to do this, make sure you read labels. Again, the LESS pre-packaged the food, the better. Limit your TOTAL fructose to 25 grams or less, that’s about 100 calories daily. This includes the natural fructose found in fruits. If you are already suffering from high blood pressure or signs of insulin resistance like diabetes, overweight and high cholesterol, you should be particularly careful to limit your fructose, including that from whole fruits, to 15 grams per day or less. That’s about 60 calories daily. So there you have it. Focus more on limiting your sugars, this includes fruit sugar, fructose … and especially “high fructose corn syrup” which is found in most pre-packaged foods, especially sodas and fruit juices. Now, I wanted to keep this video short and simple so you have something to implement today and start get results right away. If you want more details on how to lower your blood pressure naturally, under this video I’ve got simple and proven solutions that you can utilize and you do NOT even have to change your diet or exercise. Cholesterol is a naturally occurring substance produced by the liver and found in animal foods. The human body needs it for the proper function of nerves, cells, and hormones. Currently, about 100 million people in the United States have high LDL cholesterol (above 200 mg/dL), that can clog arteries (hardening of the arteries) and cause strokes and heart attacks. You can improve LDL (bad) cholesterol with prescription medicines (statins), but if you'd instead first make some lifestyle changes to improve your LDL cholesterol, you will experience a better overall health. For start, here are top 20 foods to avoid for high cholesterol: #1 Red & Processed Meat #2 Cheese #3 Fried Chicken #4 French Fries #5 Milk #6 Salad Dressings #7 Hot Dogs #8 GMO Soybeans #9 Yogurts #10 Doughnuts #11 Canned Foods #12 Sausages #13 Cookies #14 Tacos #15 Fried Fish #16 Ice Cream #17 Mayonnaise #18 Potato Chips #19 Pancakes #20 Eggs Tip - Increase your daily intake of dietary fiber. It is recommended to aim at 25–35 grams of dietary fiber per day (minimum). Excellent sources of dietary fiber include whole grains (oat bran, oats, quinoa), legumes (red kidney beans, lentils, chickpea), fruits (mango, apples, pineapple, papaya, pears) and vegetables (broccoli, radish, carrots). Also, regular moderate physical exercise is essential since some recent studies show that daily activity for a period of approximately 3 months can modestly increase beneficial HDL cholesterol by 10%. http://serious-fitness-programs.com/weightloss Follow Us On Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheSeriousfitness Individuals that are overweight and obese are more prone to cardiovascular diseases because of the high cholesterol level in their blood. Therefore, it is recommended that they lose some weight to help reduce their cholesterol level. To help keep cholesterol low, it is important to eat a healthy diet that is low in unsaturated fat. However, cholesterol levels can be reduced when you include the following super 8 foods that lower cholesterol. 1. Oats: Having a bowl of oatmeal or oat-based cereal for breakfast is an easy first step to improving your cholesterol. It provides you with 1g to 2g of soluble fiber and an extra 0.5g each if you add a banana or some strawberries. The daily recommendation for fiber is 20 to 30 grams with 5 to 10 grams obtained from soluble fiber. 2. Barley and other whole grains: These assist in lowering the risk of cardiovascular diseases, just like oats and oat bran, mostly through their supply of soluble fiber. 3. Nuts: Nuts are rich in fiber, vegetable protein, healthy fats, vitamin E, potassium, magnesium, natural plant sterols and many other plant nutrients that are beneficial. Taking about 30-35g of nuts daily could lower cholesterol by up to 5%. 4. Beans and Other Legumes: Beans, lentils, peas and peanuts are also super sources of soluble fiber. According to a study published in The Journal of Nutrition (November 2007), it was discovered that eating half a cup of cooked dried pinto beans (2 grams of soluble fiber) every day for 12 weeks consistently decreased LDL cholesterol by almost 7%. 5. Soy: Soy is another super food that is high in fiber, low in saturated fat and free of cholesterol. It is the only complete plant-based protein, which implies that it’s an equal swap for animal sources like meat and dairy. Substituting foods that are high in saturated fat with daily Soy intake has the ability to lower LDL cholesterol by almost 8 to 10% - according to a study published in The Journal of Nutrition (2010). 6. Vegetable oils: Another way to reduce cholesterol is by cooking with liquid vegetable oils such as sunflower, canola, safflower and others instead of butter or lard. 7. Citrus fruits, Grapes, Apples and Strawberries: These fruits are very rich in pectin, a type of soluble fiber that helps lower LDL. 8. Avocados: Avocados contain monounsaturated fats that help in lowering LDL and increasing HDL, most especially in persons with mildly elevated cholesterol. Add a few slices of avocados to salads and sandwiches, or mash with garlic, salsa and lemon juice for a great guacamole. There are many other foods that lower cholesterol levels but these eight are a good place to start if you are dedicated to forming eating habits that are healthy. Generally, stay away from unsaturated fats and eat more of fiber, Omega-3 and monounsaturated fats, - doing this will definitely help improve your cholesterol level. Raised total cholesterol is the leading cause of disease burden in both the developing and developed world as a risk factor for stroke and ischemic heart disease. Statins are commonly prescribed for individuals who have high levels of LDL, or “bad” cholesterol. Statins are also some of the most widely prescribed medications in the world. For instance, Lipitor, the most popular type of statins, has lifetime sales of more than $131 billion. Unfortunately, the reduction in blood cholesterol of statins translates into only minimal improvements in the health of the arteries, as seen by tiny reductions in heart disease. Plus, statins have plenty of side effects, including - nausea, muscle pain, and damage to the liver and nervous system. Here is a list of 30 best foods for high cholesterol that really reduce the risk of heart disease: #1 Garlic #2 Red Cabbage #3 Turmeric #4 Oat Bran #5 Flax Seeds #6 Walnuts #7 Kidney Beans #8 Cinnamon #9 Ginger #10 Pistachio #11 Sweet Potatoes #12 Almonds #13 Quinoa #14 Chickpeas #15 Red Onion #16 Pecans #17 Cayenne Pepper #18 Sunflower Seeds #19 Pineapples #20 Mangoes #21 Brown Rice #22 Cashews #23 Millet #24 Lentils #25 Chia Seeds #26 Papayas #27 Sesame Seeds #28 Peanuts #29 Radishes #30 Carrots Thank you. Our bodies use them for energy, so they are necessary for good health, but high triglyceride levels put you at risk for heart disease, diabetes and fatty liver disease.

Cholesterol and Heart Disease: Should You Worry About High LDL Levels? - Thomas DeLauer… LDL cholesterol is not the bad culprit that is leading to your heart disease. Don't listen to all the mainstream stuff out there that tells you if your cholesterol levels are high that you are inevitably going to end up with heart disease. Here's the thing: it literally comes down to something known as oxidized LDL. It's not LDL. It's the process in which inflammation envelops LDL. If you listen to this video and you understand what I say, I promise you that you can start finding a way to still eat the higher fat foods that you need without worrying about having cholesterol give you a heart attack. Pay attention to how this actually works within the body. LDL is needed first of all. It's not the bad cholesterol. It's only bad when it's oxidized. LDL cholesterol delivers what we need to the cell. LDL is the cholesterol that is heading to the cell to be utilized. HDL cholesterol, or good cholesterol, scavenges excess cholesterol and brings it back to the liver, so it's gotten a good name because it goes ahead and it picks up bad cholesterol that's laying around. The reality is they're both good. We need both of them. LDL becomes bad when it becomes oxidized. If you've ever heard of oxidative stress, well, that's just the thing. Have you ever heard of an antioxidant? We talk about them all the time. They're marketed all the time. Antioxidants get rid of oxidation or oxidative stress or free radicals within the body. It's only when a free radical combines with LDL that we have a problem. Here's how it works. When you have LDL, that cholesterol is going to do a specific job. A cell has a receptor where that LDL goes into the receptor and does its job within the cell. Now, what happens is that LDL can react with a free radical. Let's say you have a toxin that's in your body because you've been eating a lot of sugar. Those free radicals float through your bloodstream, and they hit the LDL. It causes a chemical reaction that causes that LDL to swell up. It causes it to swell up because it triggers white blood cells and macrophages to attract to it. Now, you've got this LDL that's no longer a nice, clean LDL. It's now a foamy, spongy, soft LDL that's been exceptionally sticky. What happens? They aggregate. All of those LDL cells that are now sticky, that aggregate and they continue to pile on until they are just a smorgasbord of LDL cells that are not functioning properly. They are sticky, they are foamy, and they are oxidized. Then they stick to your arterial wall, but guess what? It's not the sticking to the arterial wall that's really even the bad thing. What happens is they actually enter through the endothelial layer of your artery, which means it actually enters into the cell. Enter into the actual wall of the artery. Then, when that happens, it triggers more inflammation because now the endothelial cells are like, "Whoa. What's this invader doing?" You have more inflammation that goes to the cells, so now not only do you have a plaque of sticky, foamy, oxidized LDL, but you have an arterial wall that is swollen with an inflammatory response. Your arterial wall went from this to this, but it gets worse. Now that you have this oxidized LDL, it actually inhibits the production of nitric oxide. That inhibition of nitric oxide means that you no longer have nitric oxide to allow those endothelial cells to relax and allow the vasodilation or the relaxation of the blood vessel. High Cholesterol Treatment With 5 Natural Herbs A high LDL cholesterol level is medically known as hypercholesterolemia. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), over one-third of American adults have high levels of LDL or bad cholesterol. This increases the risk of cardiovascular disease, including heart disease and heart attacks. People of all ages, ethnicities and genders can have high cholesterol. Please note: The content provided below and elsewhere on this video is not intended nor should it be construed as providing professional medical or nutritional advice. Do not rely on information provided on this video for your health problems. instead, consult a qualified medical professional for advice. Here are the top 10 super foods to lower cholesterol. 01:02 Oatmeal 02:05 Almonds 03:09 Orange Juice. 04:07 Salmon 05:06 Soybeans and Soy Products. 06:06 Green Tea. 07:06 Olive Oil. 08:06 Avocados. 09:06 Garlic. 10:06 Dark Chocolate. Having a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast daily is another easy way to lower your high cholesterol level. The high soluble fiber content in oatmeal helps lower LDL. It reduces the absorption of cholesterol into your bloodstream. Fiber also fills you up quickly and helps you avoid mindless eating. The heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, polyunsaturated fats and fiber in almonds help raise good HDL cholesterol and reduce the bad LDL levels. A 2011 study published in Nutrition Review found that consumption of tree nuts like almonds help reduce LDL cholesterol, a primary target for coronary disease prevention, by 3 to 19 percent. In addition, a 2015 study published in the Journal of American Heart Association states that daily almond consumption may be a simple dietary strategy to prevent the onset of cardio-metabolic diseases. Sweet, tangy and juicy oranges are another superfood that has cholesterol-lowering properties. In a 2000 study published in the American Society for Clinical Nutrition journal, researchers found that orange juice improves blood lipid profiles in people who have hypercholesterolemia. This happens due to the presence of vitamin C, folate and flavonoids like hesperidin in oranges. The omega-3 fatty acids called EPA and DHA found in salmon provide protection against high cholesterol. It helps lower triglycerides and boosts good HDL cholesterol slightly, thus lowering the risk of heart disease. In addition, salmon is low in cholesterol and saturated fat. Soybeans and other soy products offer a complete plant-based protein that is great for those who suffer from high cholesterol. Although soy may not lower total cholesterol to a great extent, it can still lower bad LDL cholesterol. This high-protein food contains high levels of polyunsaturated fats, fiber, vitamins and minerals as well as low levels of saturated fat. Discover the REAL cause of high cholesterol and a simple formula my parent’s have used since 1999 to lower their cholesterol naturally. 💗 http://drsam.co/yt/NoMoreCholesterol You can also watch this video on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYFY4Vl19Fo Refferences: 1. https://www.lowestmed.com/top-50-prescription-drugs-filled/ 2. https://www.cdc.gov/dhdsp/data_statistics/fact_sheets/fs_heart_disease.htm ======================================= 💗 Dr. Reveals The REAL Cause of High Cholesterol ======================================= Did you know that the #1 drug prescribed in America this year was a statin drug for lowering cholesterol?1 In fact, in the top 10 most often prescribed drugs, TWO of them were cholesterol lowering.1 Additionally, for the past 20+ years, these cholesterol lowering statins have been the most often prescribed drugs and biggest money makers! Yet, the rate of heart disease has NOT gone down in the past 2 decades. In fact, it keeps going higher and higher.2 And the older you are, the worst the statistics are.2 And this includes both men AND women! So the question is: Why are things only getting worse, when more and more people are taking these “cholesterol lower drugs”? Why aren’t these drugs working to save lives? What’s the REAL cause of high cholesterol and can you fix it, naturally? So to make a long story short, back in 1998 both my parents were prescribed these toxic, statin drugs. During that year they felt so horrible with all the side-effects… so I got them off the drugs and really pushed a natural lifestyle. They were already eating well, but I turned it up a notch and got super strict. My dad has always exercised, but I increased it with him and added it with my mom. The good news is that there cholesterol levels did improve, but not by much. And that’s when their doctors said “see, you need to get back on the drugs”. But I refused! I had to find a solution And I mention this story because if you’ve had similar challenges yourself and haven’t gotten the results you were hoping for and you’re confused or frustrated - you’re not alone. In fact, this is typical … And what I discovered during the next few months when researching this topic, because I was new to it back then,... Is that the REAL cause of high cholesterol is the negative change in your hormones, due to aging. It happens to women almost instantly, because of menopause… While more gradually with men. And this explains why young people in their teens and 20’s …. eat junk, don’t rest enough or even exercise and yet, their cholesterol levels are still healthy … This is because they have good hormone levels, which quickly helps eliminate excess cholesterol and more importantly, repairs your organs and blood vessels. But don’t worry, or lose hope and think you can’t fix this because you’re getting older …I’ll show you in a minute that you can easily and quickly fix your cholesterol problems, naturally … without drugs, restrictive diets or crazy exercise programs. So keep watching… The “High Cholesterol” Myth However, the other problem with these cholesterol lowering drugs is that they only focus on “lowering cholesterol”. You don’t want that. Cholesterol has many benefits. Low cholesterol can be just as bad as high. Low cholesterol causes depression, low sex drive and earlier death. What you want to do is improve all of your lipids and the ratios. This includes having HEALTHY cholesterol levels (not low or high) Optimized HDL/LDL ratios Lower fatty Triglycerides Improved Homocysteine levels. etc. Blame It On Your Liver The next problem with aging is that our livers aren’t as strong as they used to be. Getting older, taking prescription drugs, alcohol, toxicity in our foods and so forth, all make the liver and kidneys weaker. And most people don’t know, but 80% of your cholesterol is made IN your liver!... it’s NOT from the foods you eat. This is why diet changes don’t usually make a big improvement. The problem is INTERNAL! So in addition to improving your lipid levels and ratios, you ALSO want to also detox, cleanse, repair and strengthen your liver. Here’s How To Fix Things As I learned more and more, I started implementing all of these changes with my parents. I basically gave them specific nutrients that an “aging” and “mature” body needs, so it can help heal itself from within … naturally! Remember, your body is a self cleaning and self healing organism … IF you give it what it requires! ======================================== Thank you for watching. High cholesterol foods - 5 -High Cholesterol Foods You MUST Avoid High cholesterol foods Foods to avoid with high cholesterol Cholesterol isn’t all that bad and your body can also benefit from it. In reality, “low” cholesterol has the same negative impact as “high” cholesterol levels. You’d be surprised how eating certain foods can cause your “bad” cholesterol levels to go through the roofthat predisposes you to cardiac diseases and stroke. But would you believe that it is possible to reduce your cholesterol levels the natural way in a span of 30 days? How is it done? The first and most crucial thing you need to learn are the top 5 foods to avoid: 1. Dairy No matter how cliché it sounds, milk is for babies while cow’s milk is for baby cows! Not only that, roughly 99.9% of dairy products are pasteurized leaving very little health benefits in it. And when you drink cow’s milk, you end up consuming the toxins and other medicines given to these animals before. Your cholesterol level rises that put a heavy strain on your liver since all cow’s milk often contains saturated fat, no exception. So, you have to say goodbyeto your favorite comfort foods such as cheese and ice cream. 2. Fast Foods We are talking about all sorts of fast foods here. All of them are loaded with carbohydrates, toxic proteins, and hydrogenated and saturated fats.Aside from they taste good, they are also really cheap. You can chomp them anytime you want since you can buy them anywhere and cost cheaper than fresh and healthy food choices but the toxins these foods contain will take its toll on your body later in life. 3. Animal Protein Your cholesterol levels will surely increase if you keep on eating meat, poultry, pork, and shellfish that are high in saturated and “marble” fats. Even if you go organic on them, they still contain more cholesterol than your body will ever need. Steer away from these food groups and consider getting your proteins from nuts and veggies or fish like wild-caught salmon. 4. Eggs Eggs are neutral. If you like eating yolks, you’d likely have higher cholesterol levels as this part of the egg is loaded with it. You can avoid the yolk, though, and eat the white part instead. But once cooked, the egg is oxidized by the heat and this affects the protein and fat structure. To save yourself from the bad side of eggs, consume it raw or lightly cooked where the yolk still appears runny. Opt for organic eggs from chickens that were allowed to roam freely. If possible, avoid frying the eggs with butter or other vegetable fats. 5. Baked Foods/Carbs (E.g. Snacks) Who can resist bakes treats, right? From pastries to donuts, cookies, pies, and cakes, they aren’t just delicious but gives you that jolt of energy you need to jumpstart your morning or during the sleepy afternoon slump. Unfortunately, they aren’t the healthiest food choices since they are made with dairy as well as hydrogenated and saturated fats. Moreover, most of these sweet treats contain sugars and simple carbohydrates that can cause your blood sugar levels to spike and then plummet a short while later causing you to eat some more to feel more energized. Never ever forget that “bad” fats cause your cholesterol levels to go up. You will eventually have problems with your health if you keep on eating foods rich in “bad” fats + carbohydrates +sugar. They are undeniably a recipe for a health disaster and can significantly shorten your lifespan. Aside from the usual staples you buy from the bakery, snacks like chips, crackers, pretzels, etc. all belong to the same category and are just unhealthy as other baked goodies. cholesterol levels cholesterol diet high cholesterol foods cholesterol foods that higher cholesterol high cholesterol diet high cholesterol normal cholesterol levels cholesterol range bad cholesterol foods what foods are high in cholesterol what causes high cholesterol

7 High-Cholesterol Foods to Avoid (Plus 3 to Eat) Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of morality in developed and developing countries. High LDL cholesterol and triglyceride concentrations along with low HDL cholesterol concentrations are associated with elevated cardiovascular disease risk. (1) To ensure that you maintain heart health, it’s important that you consume cholesterol-lowering foods and avoid high-cholesterol foods that lead to inflammation and weight gain. When it comes to lowering high cholesterol naturally, strictly avoiding all high-cholesterol foods is not necessary. In fact, foods that contain cholesterol can still be consumed regularly. It’s all about moderation and balance — eating a combination of nutrient-dense foods that fight inflammation and tackle the root of the problem, while avoiding more harmful high-cholesterol foods like processed foods and alcohol. 7 High-Cholesterol Foods to Avoid According to the National Cancer Institute, these are the top food sources of cholesterol among people living in the U.S.: (2) -Eggs and egg mixed dishes — 25 percent -Chicken and chicken mixed dishes — 13 percent -Beef, beef mixed dishes and burgers — 11 percent -Full-fat cheese — 4 percent -Sausage, hot dogs, bacon and ribs — 4 percent -Fish and fish mixed dishes — 3 percent -Grain-based desserts — 3 percent -Dairy dessert — 3 percent -Pasta and pasta dishes — 3 percent -Pizza — 3 percent -Mexican mixed dishes — 3 percent -Cold cuts — 3 percent -Reduced fat milk — 2.5 percent -Pork and pork mixed dishes — 2 percent -Shrimp and shrimp mixed dishes — 2 percent Interestingly, not all of these high-cholesterol foods have a negative impact on our total cholesterol levels. The foods that cause inflammation do the most damage and increase our chances of developing heart disease. (3) Poor-quality animal products are highly inflammatory, as are toxic oils that are made using chemicals and solvents. Alcohol, sugar and caffeine are all stimulants that the liver can use to produce more cholesterol, increasing levels of inflammation. Research shows that increased body weight is associated with high cholesterol and increased risk for coronary heart disease. Therefore, losing weight and cutting out foods that contribute to weight gain and inflammation help you lower your total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels. (4) The following foods should be avoided to decrease LDL and increase HDL cholesterol levels: 1. Canola Oil and Other Processed Vegetable Oils When canola oil undergoes hydrogenation, which it often does to become a partially hydrogenated oil, this increases its level of trans fats. These are a group of fats that you want to avoid as much as possible since they’re scientifically known to increase LDL cholesterol and lower HDL cholesterol levels. Research shows that all fatty acids with one or more bonds in the trans configuration raises the ratio of LDL-to-HDL cholesterol. (5) Other oils that contain trans fatty acids include corn oil, safflower oil, soy oil and vegetable oil. 2. Potato Chips and Other Packaged Foods Extensive research evaluates the rise in snacking, snack foods and ultra-processed foods in the American diet. Some studies show that 66 percent of calories consumed by U.S. citizens comes from packaged foods and beverages. Because snacking and snack foods have grown in frequency and number, eating frequency has also increased, leading to higher rates of obesity and high cholesterol levels. (6) Avoid unhealthy snacks, such as potato chips, crackers, fried foods and other packaged foods. 3. Cookies and Other Sugary Treats 4. Bacon and Other Processed Meats 6. Milk and Other Conventional Dairy Products 7. Refined Grain Products Help us to be better SUBSCRIBE for more videos here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfR3Y90G-fFDYI6i7E7xPBQ?sub_confirmation=1 More from Health Zone: -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yne8kl6VjII -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7T950IPphMY -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHQuylqVcj0 7 High-Cholesterol Foods to Avoid (Plus 3 to Eat) By HEALTH ZONE

This is because the fructose sugar in fruits, can actually increase your blood pressure and cholesterol levels, while also increasing your risk for diabetes. All bad for your heart. Anyway, if fruit isn’t really that good for your health - then why am I promoting “fruit” in today’s topic? Well, the fruit I’m referring to is an Avocado! Now, most people call it a vegetable because it’s green. However, the avocado is technically a fruit, and even more specifically, a single-seeded berry. Personally, I categorize an avocado under FATS because one medium size avocado (150 grams) has about1: 240 calories 12 calories (3 grams) from protein 12 calories (3 grams + 9 grams fiber) from carbohydrates 216 of calories (24 grams) being from fat (90% of the calories) Now, the TYPE of fat is the key to avocado’s “cholesterol lowering” secret and I’ll get to that in a minute. As far as clinical proof for improving your cholesterol… One study2 saw a 16% decrease in total cholesterol after only 7 days of a diet high in monounsaturated fat from avocados and a 22% decrease of both the “bad” LDL-cholesterol and triglycerides, along with an 11% increase the “good” HDL cholesterol. In a second study3, the participants saw an average drop of 14 points in “bad” LDL cholesterol with a higher avocado diet The “Secret” Heart-Healthy Fat Now, the reason for avocado’s working so well is that 66% of the fat is from monounsaturated fats!1 Most people like olive oil as the main source of monounsaturated fats. However, I don’t because most olive oil is rancid and processed. It’s “fake”. Most of the healthier, “extra virgin oils” break down at a lower heat temperature and thus, it’s best kept UNCOOKED and eaten raw. My favorite monounsaturated fat to cook with is macadamia oil because it’s not processed very much and also has a high heat capacity, so it’s great for cooking.4 Summary So if you want a healthier heart and lower your cholesterol, decrease your sugars and increase healthy monounsaturated fats from my favorite heart-healthy fruit, an avocado! ======================================== Thank you for watching. Low down your high cholesterol naturally with foods. Top 10 Foods That Naturally Lower Your Cholesterol - If your diet gave you high cholesterol, it can lower it, too It's easy to eat your way to an alarmingly high cholesterol level. The reverse is true, too — changing what you eat can lower your cholesterol and improve the armada of fats floating through your bloodstream. Doing this requires a two-pronged strategy: Add foods that lower LDL, the harmful cholesterol-carrying particle that contributes to artery-clogging atherosclerosis. Tell Me Your Success with Before & After Images: https://bit.ly/2O9C0HT Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about cholesterol being high on a ketogenic diet. This is an oversimplified talk and for more detailed data - see the video on LDL. However, as your fat cells shrink, the fat cell not only releases triglycerides, but cholesterol too. Many people do not know the fat cells are filled with both. The excess cholesterol needs to either be eliminated through the liver and gallbladder (bile) or be recycled. This is all a normal process on ketosis. Hey guys, I want to talk about what will happen if your cholesterol went high on a ketogenic diet. The first thing you should know is that when you lose weight, the fat cells actually shrink. They won’t go away completely, you can’t get rid of the fat cells but you can shrink it. Second thing you need to know is inside that fat cell you have, triglycerides and cholesterol. A lot of people don’t realize that cholesterol is also stored in the fat cells. As the fat cell shrinks, you can burn triglycerides for fuel but you cannot burn cholesterol, it is not a fuel source. It is going to be eliminated to the body as you lose weight. As the fat cell is squeezed, the cholesterol is going to increase in the blood and is going to go in the liver and comes out to the bile. As long as your liver is healthy and you’re eating a lot of vegetables, and you have enough bile, you are totally fine even if your LDL is fine. The key thing is to make sure that your triglycerides are low because if you are not using your triglycerides as a fuel then there is a problem, you are probably eating too much sugar but when you are in ketogenic diet and you are doing it correctly and your triglycerides are low and your HDL and LDL is high, all that means is that you are burning more LDL and there is no bad effects that are going to happen, just keep your vegetables high and as you keep closer to your weight loss goal, that will level out and come back normal.
