Warning signs of stroke 1 Sudden numbness or weakness in the arms face, or legs If a person complains of sudden numbness or is experiencing weakness in their arms, legs or face, do not ignore it. Weeks after starting my newest round of medications (Seroquel & Nortryptaline) as a last ditch effort, I had my blood drawn for possible hormone imbalances and my Testosterone levels came back 200 ng/Dl and 150 ng/Dl. The average 25 year old male has 750 ng/Dl. With this discovery I for the first time had any type of possible explanation as to why I was not getting better and why I might be so so sick. The symptoms of such Low T are very similar to those of major depression. I started Testosterone replacement therapy soon after and have been checking in with the world and documenting my experience with treatment as well as giving my insight and perspective on various topics of mental health. I am blessed to say that I have slowly, over the last 5 years, been improving and becoming more stable which I never thought to be possible. My low T manifested itself in the form of Major depression, anxiety, and depersonalization/ derealization for over a year. Treating my low testosterone has been 1 HUGE part of the puzzle but I have had to continue to work hard to hold on to my mental stability with many set backs. That would be false. "We have to remember that salt or sodium doesn't just come out of the salt shaker. It often comes in prepared foods. Hypertension (B.P) Treatment in Nadipathy Hypertension (B.P) is the pressure of the blood against the walls of the arteries. FODMAP is an acronym that stands for Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides And Polyols Since your body is unable to completely digest these sugar molecules, they travel through your GI tract and reach your colon undigested, where the bacteria that live in your colon begin to ferment them. The fermentation can produce gas and bloating Raw Cruciferous Vegetables (Kale, Broccoli, Cabbage) Cruciferous veggies (cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, etc.) cause bloating and gas when eaten in their raw form - extremely high in insoluble fiber, which can be difficult for your body to break down. Cooking vegetables helps break down the fibers they contain, which makes them easier on the digestive system because they’re already partly broken down. Cruciferous veggies also contain raffinose, a sugar molecule - Raffinose cannot be broken down in the small intestine as humans lack the alpha-galactosidase enzyme required to break it down. It passes through your GI tract completely undigested. Once it reaches the large intestine though, the bacteria there thrive on it and ferment raffinose into large volumes of hydrogen, methane and other gases. This Popular Food Causes Diabetes, Heart Disease And Stroke ! Many people are aware that ramen instant noodles are not healthy but still there are individuals who are denying that they can harm their health. They are quite cheap so most of the college kids consume instant noodles. Did you know that eating ramen and instant noodles every day could lead to heart attacks? Yes! In most people, the kidneys have trouble keeping up with the excess sodium in the bloodstream. As sodium accumulates, the body holds onto water to dilute the sodium. This increases both the amount of fluid surrounding cells and the volume of blood in the bloodstream. Increased blood volume means more work for the heart and more pressure on blood vessels. Over time, the extra work and pressure can stiffen blood vessels, leading to high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke. It can also lead to heart failure. There is also some evidence that too much salt can damage the heart, aorta, and kidneys without increasing blood pressure, and that it may be bad for bones, too. This product may be delicious and cheap but you should avoid it for good especially if you want to preserve your heart and overall health. South Korea is familiar by the high number of instant noodle consumers in the world. A research conveyed in this country showed that in 11,000 individuals those who consumed more instant noodles were more prone to diabetes, stroke and metabolic syndrome. Lots of people need potassium, B1, and even sodium. but this way you can know whats going on and what to do about it. Hey Guys, in this video we’re going to talk about keto adaptation symptoms and solutions. When you start with ketogenic diet, you may have any one of these symptoms. Muscle cramps is usually a low potassium situation, you need to increase your potassium levels. Palpitations or Heart Arrhythmias, also increase more potassium because when you lose the glycogen reserve you lose a lot of water and the water comes with electrolytes, so the need of potassium will go way up. If you feel week that means you need more sodium, sea salt would handle it. Bad breath means you are consuming too much protein, cut down protein and maybe add some apple cider vinegar for digestion. Dizzy, that could means three things but when doing keto it means to increase your sodium because you are losing more fluid and the blood pressure goes too low and sea salt retains water. For fatigue, you need to up your B1 and B5 and nutritional yeast works great for that. If you feel more cold in intermittent fasting take some high quality iodine sea kelp, you can also do sea vegetables as well. Not satisfied after a meal means you need more fat. When your body adapts to ketosis and you actually start healing insulin resistance, the need for fat goes down because your body is running in your own fat. Right Shoulder pain means you are consuming too much fat or too many nuts which is irritating the gallbladder, there is a nerve that goes into the right shoulder that could be going up to your neck, head or jaw, having those symptoms cut back the fat and the nuts for it to go away. When having constipation, avoid too much cheese. Too much cheese and meat could constipate a person, increase your vegetables and potassium. A stroke occurs when the blood supply to a certain part of the brain is reduced or interrupted. Without oxygen and nutrients from the blood, brain cells cannot function properly and eventually die. There are 2 major types of strokes: ISCHEMIC stroke caused by a BLOCKED artery, and HEMORRHAGIC stroke caused by a RUPTURED artery. Ischemic stroke happens when a blood clot OBSTRUCTS an artery. In some patients, the clot forms locally, inside the blood vessels that supply the brain. This occurs when fatty deposits in an artery, or cholesterol plaques, rupture and trigger blood clotting. In other cases, a clot may travel to the brain from elsewhere in the body. Most commonly, this happens in patients with atrial fibrillation, a heart condition in which the heart does not pump properly, blood stagnates in its chambers and this facilitates blood clotting. The clots may then pass into the bloodstream, get stuck in smaller arteries of the brain and block them. Hemorrhagic stroke, on the other hand, occurs when an artery leaks or ruptures. This can result from high blood pressure, overuse of blood-thinners/anticoagulant drugs, or abnormal formations of blood vessels such as aneurysms and AVMs. As a hemorrhage takes place, brain tissues located BEYOND the site of bleeding are deprived of blood supply. Bleeding also induces contraction of blood vessels, narrowing them and thus further limiting blood flow. Stroke symptoms may include one or more of the following: - Paralysis of muscles of the face, arms or legs: inability to smile, raise an arm, or difficulty walking. - Slurred speech or inability to understand simple speech. - Sudden and severe headache, vomiting, dizziness or reduced consciousness. Cerebral stroke is a medical emergency and requires immediate attention. It is essential to determine if a stroke is ischemic or hemorrhagic before attempting treatment. This is because certain drugs used for treatment of ischemic strokes, such as blood thinners, may CRITICALLY aggravate bleeding in hemorrhagic strokes. - For ischemic strokes, emergency treatment aims to restore blood flow by removing blood clots. Medication, such as aspirin and tissue plasminogen activator, TPA, are usually the first options. TPA may be given intravenously, or, in the case the symptoms have advanced, delivered directly to the brain via a catheter inserted through an artery at the groin. Blood clots may also be removed mechanically by a special device delivered through a catheter. - Emergency treatment for hemorrhagic strokes, on the other hand, aims to stop bleeding, reduce blood pressure, and prevent vasospasm and seizures. These goals are usually achieved by a variety of drugs. If the bleeding is significant, surgery may be required to drain the blood and reduce intracranial pressure. Preventive treatments for strokes include: - Removal of cholesterol plaques in carotid arteries that supply the brain - Widening of narrowed carotid arteries with a balloon, and sometimes, a stent. This is usually done with a catheter inserted at the groin. - Various procedures to prevent rupturing of brain aneurysms, such as clipping and embolization. - Removal or embolization of vascular malformations - Bypassing the problematic artery
