So today I want to go over the 10 most effective exercises for weight loss that you could do right in your own living room. The exercises that i go over today require no equipment and the reason why theyre more effective than others is because they're going to work mulriple joints and muscle groups at the same time and theyre gonna get your heart rate and your breathing rate up way up. You can combine all of these exercises into one workout simply by using on and off intervals. The training style that I recommend for this type of workout is short intervals. 20 seconds on and then ten seconds off then repeat each exercise for 8 rounds before taking a minute break and moving on to the next. Training in a high intensity way like this will allow you to burn more calories in a shorter amount of time. Before I jump into the first one I do have to State the obvious and that's the fact that if you want to lose weight or burn fat you do have to make sure that you're keeping it clean in the kitchen as well. These arent magical exercises that was somehow counterbalance eating junk everyday. But by doing this work out a couple times a week and watching what you eat I'm sure that anyone can lose weight and body fat with these exercises. Let's start with number 1. its a combination of jumping jacks and burpees. Burpees are by far one of the most effective exercises to get your heart rate up while also working your upper and your lower body. Most people know how to do a jumping jack start standing straight up then jump your feet out and raise your arms over your head and you're going to do that 5 times. Then you would perform the burpee by bending your back and lowering yourself down to the ground. As you place your hands on the floor. Next you're going to jump your feet out and get into a push-up position lower yourself down for the push-up then hop your feet back in and jump up. If this is too advanced for you you can walk your feet out one foot at a time instead of hoping. Regardless of whether you're a beginner or advanced the sequence is five jumping jacks one Burpee 5 jumping jacks one Burpee back and forth. Next we have the mountain climber sit through drill. For this one you're going to perform 4 mountain climbers for every two sit throughs. Most people know how to do mountain climbers. These are the same mountain climbers that you've probably done in gym class. Every time that you hop one of your knees up to your chest it counts as one. So you shuffle your feet 4 times and then you do 2 sit throughs. The sit through is done by starting in a pushup postion then lifting one hand off the ground and your opposite leg off the ground. Bring your hand up to your head and kick your opposite leg through as you turn your hips and your body enough for your butt to barely tap the ground. Then return back to the pushup and repeat for the other side. Once you're done with those 2 sit throughs go right back to mountain climbers. Next is the plyo step up. This one is not only great for your footwork, balance, and coordination, but it's also a great exercise to burn a bunch of calories. All you need is a step below knee level. You can use a low chair or even the bottom stair ledge in your house. Start with one foot on the platform, put your weight on that foot & jump up as you switch your feet. Do this back & forth repeating for the full time. I know it doesn't look like much, but like I said you will be breathing heavy after doing this one for 20 seconds straight & especially after eight rounds. If you have knee problems & can't jump up & down you can just alternate stepping up side to side. Moving on to exercise number four the spider man pushup. This one does require a lot of upper body strength so if you're a beginner just stick to regular pushups or you can also do pushups on your knees if regular pushups are too hard. The key with all of these exercises is to perform the exercise in the most intense way that you can & then regress as it gets harder. So you can start by doing a couple reps of the spiderman pushups & then regress to regular pushups.

So I've been promising this video to you all for so long and I finally got it together! This is the routine that started it all! I repeated these same workouts for the first 6 months of my weight loss journey until getting my first "Big Gym" membership.. Obviously most (if not all) these moves were much harder than I may make them look. GOOD news is there's variations/modifications for pretty much everything I showed you in this video. My current workouts are a bit more intense with HIIT incorporated as I am still doing my best to get the rest of this extra baby weight off as well as lose a total of about 25-30 more lbs before getting my skin removed. For example how many days should I workout? How long for? How many repetitions and sets should I perform? What time of the day is best to workout? What exercises should I perform to lose weight? All these questions will be answered in this video plus more nutritional and motivational tips as we work towards your goal in the next 8 weeks. I've called the 8-week challenge the 'Fit & Feminine' workout! Just like most of you, I want to be fit but still feminine looking at the same time (not too muscular eh!) We are at Day 9, and we have a solid 1hr men's fat loss workout for day-9. Make sure you keep your diet as a fat loss diet. If you eat too much then all your workout will go to waste. Keep repeating each video for a good while and then move to next day, and once you complete the series of 10 repeat it again. Keep burning energy and keep your diet as a fat loss diet and you will shred off that fat and get those cuts in muscles. We got a lot of request from people how to shred their fat to show their abs or to simply lose fat. To tone the muscle and get rid of the excess fat to show those cuts and toned muscles than this is the series for you. We have another series for fat loss as well which men and women can follow, and this can be followed by men and women as well. You also have to ensure to build the muscle under the fat in order to see the cuts. If you don't have muscles underneath then you'll just look like a skeleton. We have other weight training series to build the muscles underneath. To start off, make sure you stretch, watch our stretching videos for basic stretches. This is a 10 DAY SERIES, for each day, keep repeating each day for as long as you can before moving to the next day or until the day becomes easy for you, and once you complete the series repeat it again and keep repeating it. Just keep repeating it until that fat comes off. Remember that to get rid of the fat, you got to follow a proper fat loss diet as well. These are very advance moves and exercises, if you haven't worked out before, you should start with our 100 day series at home even if you are a guy else you won't be able to do these easily, once you finish that series then you can do this series. Best Fat Burning Workout (HOW I STAY LEAN!)

The simple fact is, long term fat loss is going to depend on your ability to build as much lean muscle tissue as possible. Metabolically, this muscle tissue is going to increase your resting caloric burn much more than the body fat that exists at this moment. In this video, I show you a simple dumbbell complex that can be done with a barbell if you have access to a full gym or a more advanced home gym. The bottom line is, this sequence of four dumbbell exercises will get your heart rate soaring and your muscles working in very short order. Perform just 6 rounds this with little to no rest between exercises in the complex and a max of 90 seconds after each round. Your goal is to perform your complex training workouts at least once a week if not more. The key to successful complexes however is to not back load the complexes with exercises that are using relatively heavy weights or that demand high levels of technical skill. Most trainers that program complexes make these mistakes and also don’t take into account the accumulating fatigue. In order to combat the fatigue to maintain good form and the integrity of the exercise, you will want to perform this complex with a descending rep sequence. In other words, you will start off by performing 6 reps in the first round, 5 reps in the second round, 4 reps in the third, and so on and so forth until all rounds are done and you are doing just 1rep of each exercise in the last. Determine the weight you are going to use by choosing your 12RM for your dumbbell overhead shoulder press. Keep the same weight for all of the other exercises in this complex. Again, this is done so that while the weight may be on the light side for the exercises you are performing, it will not jeopardize your body or risk injury when performing them in a fatigued state. The key above all else is to not rest between movements. Simply transition from one exercise in the complex to the next and try not to rest the dumbbells at all when moving from one to the next. While the first round might not feel like much of a struggle, the subsequent rounds will quickly add up and make you feel as if your fat burning has just kicked into third gear! Workout Plan to GAIN WEIGHT for Women

Please READ this box for more info. Best exercises to GAIN WEIGHT for skinny women. This workout plan is based on full body Compound Exercises. Compound exercises are those that involve more than one joint and muscle group. They are more efficient and effective for muscle growth. Method: 10 exercises, 4 sets per exercises, 45 -- 60 seconds of rest in between sets. Set 1 - Choose weight that will be manageable for 12 reps. Set 2 - Increase the weight slightly to which you can only accomplish 10 reps. Set 3 - Increase the weight even more to which you can only accomplish 8 reps. Set 4 - For the final set, lift even heavier weight to reach failure at 6 reps. Workout Schedule: Only 3 - 4 times weekly on alternate days. *It is important to know that it is NOT in the gym you achieve growth, it is when you rest and recover. Hence, a full workout day should be followed by a rest day to assure full recovery and growth. Workout Duration: No more than 60 minutes per session. Progression: Perform these exercises for 4 - 6 weeks. As you progress, lift even heavier weights and increase to 5 or 6 sets per exercise. People want to know if burpees are the best exercise for getting the job done. Others want to know if battle ropes or even jump rope are better at burning calories and burning fat. While all of them are at the top of the list for the most calories burned on a minute per minute basis, they still are not the best way to lose five pounds of body fat the fastest. In this video, I show you how you can never outtrain a bad diet. If you refuse to pay attention to the quality of your nutrition and the foods you put in your mouth you are never going to have the low levels of body fat that you desire long term. Sure, anyone can follow a short term diet that allows them to lose fat for a few weeks however if you can’t keep it up then you will never be satisfied with your body fat levels over the course of the year. Mistakenly, people look to exercises as the best way to drop body fat. While you definitely need to train, achieving fat loss is and always will be better accomplished via the right nutrition plan. This goes back to the comment about never being able to outtrain a bad diet. You simply cannot make up enough calorie burn via exercise (even the most intense) to overcome bad food choices. For instance, our very own Jesse is a big sugar fanatic and a worshiper of gummy bears. Just 17 measly gummy bears has 150 calories. Even if Jesse were to do 10 minutes straight of high effort high intensity burpees, he would only burn 120 calories and he would lose that battle with a net calorie gain of 30. Now Jesse, being a hardgainer, is not concerned at the moment with his body fat levels. He was the only one wiling to do the burpees while I talked during the video being the good sport that he is. If you are looking to burn 5 lbs of fat however, you need to be sure that you are paying attention to what really matters. Your nutrition will always be at the top of the priority list for getting that job done. Now, does that mean that conditioning exercises like burpees, jump rope, battle ropes and split squat jumps don’t have a place in your workout program if you need to lose fat? Not at all. So real quick before we start a couple things that you should know right off the bat is one you can't burn specifically belly fat. I've said this a million times. To lose belly fat you're going to have to burn fat away from your whole body. As it comes off your whole body it'll come off your belly as well but there's no way to Target fat burn specifically from the belly or any other specific area. Another thing you should know is that once you've been working out for a substantial amount of time and once you've already put a decent amount of muscle mass on it's going to be very hard to add muscle while burning fat at the same time. After your body has already adapted to resistance training if you want to add muscle you're going to have to create a calorie Surplus. On the other hand anytime that you want to burn fat you have to create a calorie deficit. There is however an exception to this rule. If your a beginner or you haven't consistently exercised for a year or more or you stopped weight training and are now looking to get back into it there is potentially a good chance for you to burn fat and build muscle at the same time. To accomplish this goal it's very important that you structure your workout and you're eating accordingly. A traditional weight training plan with moderate to long breaks between sets is not going to help you burn very much fat at all during a workout. On the other hand a cardio-based workout will not help you build muscle mass and without resistance training, cardio alone can even make you lose some muscle mass. So when creating a workout that's supposed to help us burn fat and build muscle at the same time we have to come up with a routine that incorporates a little bit of both. Now one way to do this would be to do a weight training workout and then immediately follow it up with a cardio workout however this is definitely not the most effective way to go about it mostly because it takes so much longer to accomplish what can be done in much less time. After all I'm assuming the whole reason why you want to build muscle and burn fat at the same time is because you want the results faster. Which could be a problem in itself but the goal of this video isn't to change your mindset it's to provide the most effective muscle building and fat burning workout in the shortest amount of time possible so I'm not going to preach about the importance of patience in this process. So there are a couple principles that we want to follow 2 come up with most effective workout for burning fat and building muscle fast at the same time. Number one you want to perform pretty much only compound exercises that require you to use multiple joints and multiple muscle groups. An example of a compound multi joint exercise that's great for fat loss and building muscle is a barbell clean and press. In this exercise we're using a ton of different joints and muscle groups in the body at the same time. What that's going to do is 1 you're going to be able to work on a lot of the muscles that you're trying to build at the same time. And 2 because of the amount of muscles and joints involved in the movement as long as you pick an appropriately challenging weight your heart rate, your breathing, and the calories that you burn from just one exercise will all shoot up. Compare this to a regular bicep curl. With a regular bicep curl you're only working on the elbow joint and using a very small bicep muscle. That's not going to burn very many calories and it's not going to Target very many muscles in a short time frame. Even a compound exercise like bench press won't burn anywhere near the amount of calories as any standing multi joint Olympic type of lift. That's not me saying that you shouldn't do bench press it's still a great compound exercise that you should include in your routine when trying to burn fat and build muscle butt I'm just using it to demonstrate a point that generally speaking the more joints and muscles that you recruit in a lift the more calories you'll be burning during that movement. So we want to shoot for compound exercises and we want to get as many joints involved in the movement especially if you're low on time.
