↓ 5 Important & Clinically Proven Reasons You Should NOT Take Statin Drugs

06:33
How my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs. An all natural alternative to statin drugs. ►►►http://drsam.co/yt/NoMoreStatin =============================== 5 Important & Clinically Proven Reasons You Should NOT Take Statin Drugs =============================== Statins are HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors. They work by blocking the enzyme (HMG-CoA reductase) in your liver, that is responsible for making cholesterol. Now, this is very important topic to me personally, because over 15+ years ago my parent’s were prescribed these toxic drugs and they had a ton of negative side-effects. Unfortunately back then, we didn’t have all the data we have now. The pharmaceutical companies did a great job of hiding them. Today I’m going to reveal the top 5, clinically proven reasons, why you should NOT take statin drugs and one of my favorite, natural alternatives that my own parents use. Reason #1 - They DON’T Work! Statin drugs DO lower your cholesterol levels, but don’t think they lower your risk of heart disease, heart attacks or strokes. Based on the statistics of “Relative Risk Reduction (RRR)”, statins reduce the risk for only 1% of the population - that’s it!8 Reason #2 - Increase Your Risk Major Disease, Including Cancer! Statins increase your risk for diabetes. And what’s interesting is that over 50% of people who have heart disease, have elevated glucose and blood sugar levels. So the irony is that the statin drugs will indirectly INCREASE your risk of heart disease by increasing your blood sugar levels. Statins also cause neurodegenerative diseases, such as memory loss, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s. Statins also cause musculoskeletal disorders, leading to muscle pain and weakness (myalgia), muscle cramps and other muscular problems. Statins also cause cataracts, which is a clouding of your eye lens and is a main cause of low vision among the elderly. Finally, statin drugs are known to cause cancer. Reason #3 - Deplete Important Nutrients Statin drugs deplete two very important nutrients in your body. The first is Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10). CoQ10 is used for energy production by every cell in your body, and is therefore vital for good health, high energy levels, longevity, and general quality of life. What’s important to know is that your heart is the most energy-demanding organ in your body. By depleting CoQ10, your heart slowly becomes weaker and ages faster. In addition to CoQ10, statin drug also reduce Vitamin K2. This is important for you to know because Vitamin K2 protects your arteries from calcification. Without it, plaque levels worsen. Reason #4 - Liver Problems & Toxicity Of all the negative side-effects associated with statin drugs, the most common was “drug induced liver injury”… This accounts for a whopping 57% of all statin related “adverse drug reactions”, which included potentially severe and some cases, deadly consequences such as: Death from acute liver failure Liver transplantation Jaundice Liver problems are so bad with statin drugs that each year there are millions of people diagnosed “moderate to serious liver dysfunction”! Remember, your liver detoxifies and cleanses your entire body. Poor liver function greatly accelerates aging! Reason #5 - Natural Alternatives Exist You don’t need to take statin drugs because natural alternatives already exist. Nature already has the answers, NOT the pharmaceutical companies. I’m sure you already know this…. Drugs can be used SHORT-TERM, to quickly improve a health problem … TEMPORARILY. But positive, long-term benefits can only be seen and felt using natural means. This way, you have a proven, simple and convenient solution for your high cholesterol, while being so much safer than statin drugs. How to Lower Cholesterol: LDL vs. HDL- Thomas DeLauer

08:06
Please Be Sure to Subscribe for 3x Videos Per Week! http://www.thomasdelauer.com How to Lower Cholesterol: LDL vs. HDL- Thomas DeLauer... Good vs. Bad Cholesterol: LDL cholesterol is not bad. HDL is not cholesterol and neither is LDL. “High” and “low” refer to the relative proportion of protein to fat in the bundle. HDL stands for High Density Lipoprotein. LDL stands for Low Density Lipoprotein. (There are three other lipoproteins; chylomicrons, VLDL and IDL) Cholesterol and fat are not water-soluble so they need to be carried around the body in something to do their vital work. The carriers of such substances are called lipoproteins. (4) Lipoproteins: Lipoproteins travel round the bloodstream and act as transporters. So LDL and HDL are carriers of cholesterol, as well as triglycerides and phospholipids and proteins. LDL is the carrier of fresh cholesterol and HDL is the carrier of recycled cholesterol. VLDL, LDL, and HDL: The liver is central to the regulation of cholesterol levels in the body. Not only does it synthesize cholesterol for export to other cells, but it also removes cholesterol from the body by converting it to bile salts and putting it into the bile where it can be eliminated in the feces. Chylomicrons and VLDL deliver TAG to cells in the body. Two types of lipoproteins are triglyceride-rich: the chylomicrons and VLDL. Chylomicrons are synthesized by enterocytes from lipids absorbed in the small intestine. VLDL is synthesized in the liver. The function of these lipoproteins is to deliver energy-rich triacylglycerol (TAG) to cells in the body (pink pathway). TAG is stripped from chylomicrons and VLDL through the action of lipoprotein lipase, an enzyme that is found on the surface of endothelial cells. HDL is involved in reverse cholesterol transport. Excess cholesterol is eliminated from the body via the liver, which secretes cholesterol in bile or converts it to bile salts. The liver removes LDL and other lipoproteins from the circulation by receptor-mediated endocytosis. It travels in the circulation where it gathers cholesterol to form mature HDL, which then returns the cholesterol to the liver via various pathways. LDL delivers cholesterol to cells in the body. As VLDL particles are stripped of triacylglycerol, they become more dense. These particles are remodeled at the liver and transformed into LDL. The function of LDL is to deliver cholesterol to cells, where it is used in membranes, or for the synthesis of steroid hormones. Cells take up cholesterol by receptor-mediated endocytosis. LDL binds to a specific LDL receptor and is internalized in an endocytic vesicle. Receptors are recycled to the cell surface, while hydrolysis in an endolysosome releases cholesterol for use in the cell. LDL is what we call a carrier protein, and one of its important jobs is to carry a fundamentally important chemical to every cell in the body. This chemical is a critical component of cell membranes, serves as a brain antioxidant, and is the raw material from which your body manufactures vitamin D, cortisol, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. Study - The British Medical Journal (BMJ): The research team — comprised of experts from seven different countries — evaluated data collected from 19 studies on a total of 68,094 older adults. The team was seeking to determine if LDL cholesterol is associated with death in the older adults. According to the cholesterol hypothesis, it should directly relate. According to the BMJ study, it doesn’t. Researchers say almost 80 percent of the participants in the studies who had high LDL cholesterol did not die because of their cholesterol level. On the other hand, researchers discovered people with low levels of LDL cholesterol, or LDL-C, had the highest rates of death related to cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. Basically, what happens short and long-term? Good and bad… positives and negatives? And to begin with - why should you listen to me? Well, my doctorate degree is in pharmacology and endocrinology… Pharmacology - which is the study of DRUGS. And I’ve also taken it a big step deeper with the study of nutraceuticals - herbs and plant extracts, since over 50% of drugs have been based on natural substances found in nature. Endocrinology - which is the study of hormones. So, this makes me a bit of an expert about this topic. However, more importantly, I also have many years of real-life clinical experience dealing with professional athletes and bodybuilders, where I had to redo their entire drug protocols so they can be safer, healthier and actually get MORE results. Positive Effects As far as the positive effects for HEALTHY men taking steroids - thus, not people who are sick or ill (AIDS or other wasting diseases), the only real positive effects for doing a cycle of steroids is that it will actually help you surpass your natural genetics. Or more accurately, help you get to your “limit”, much faster. And thus, after the cycle, you’ll actually be able to KEEP some of the “newly” grown “steroid-induced” muscle growth. For example, you’ll gain 20 lbs of muscle on your 12 week cycle. You’ll end up losing 12 lbs and keep about 8 lbs of muscle. This is NEW muscle that would have taken you years to gain, but you fast forwarded the results and grew it all in 3 months. However, this is assuming you do everything correctly -- during and more importantly, AFTER your cycle. Which is another topic, for a different day. This is the only REAL benefit. Now, let’s move on the negatives. Transient, Short-Term Side Effects There are lots of short-term negative effects that will come and go. Acne - some will get them, some won’t - it depends on genetics, your diet, hygiene and the TYPE of steroids you take. These will go away after your cycle. However, if you pick at them, they can leave acne scars and that’s the only “permanent” negatives. Liver Stress - Your liver will be under extra stress with steroids, mainly the orals. Again, after your cycle, your liver enzymes will go back to normal. Fatigue - many steroid will initially give you more energy. But over time, they can decrease your energy levels, especially the orals. High Cholesterol - Almost all steroids will cause negative effects on your lipid levels. Orals are the worst, but so are most injectables that don’t convert to estrogen. Needless to say, your lipid and cholesterol levels will go back to normal after the cycle. High Blood Pressure - Like cholesterol, this will go back to normal after your cycle. HOWEVER, if it’s elevated too much, for too long - you might get a stroke and it could cause renal and kidney problems. Which can result in kidney failure and dialysis. This does happen, so keep an eye on your blood pressure. Long-Term, Permanent Side Effects Hair Loss - Now, this is a real problem that NOBODY wants. However, this is caused by genetics and the type of steroids you take. Needless to say, even people with the best genetics, will lose hair when you take high doses of steroids, especially certain ones … for long periods of time. Testicular Shrinkage - ALL steroids will cause this. There are ways around this, but it’s too complicated to get into in this video. They will grow back after your cycle. Infertility - did you know that the male birth control is steroids, specifically testosterone and also nandrolone based steroids? This is because exogenous testosterone (from the OUTSIDE) causes your testicles to shrink and thus, stop producing sperm. Now, some guys can still get a woman pregnant even during a cycle, but generally no. Loss of Libido ======================================== Thank you for watching. What is the BEST DRINK to LOWER CHOLESTEROL? LOWER Your CHOLESTEROL NATURALLY By Drink this DRINK!

11:12
Drinks to Lower Cholesterol. High levels of bad cholesterol and total cholesterol increase your risk of heart disease and stroke. Total cholesterol takes into account levels of both low-density lipoprotein, or bad cholesterol, and high-density lipoprotein, or good cholesterol. According to the Mayo Clinic, your diet plays a critical role in reducing cholesterol levels. Adding particular beverages to your diet may be beneficial. Green Tea Green tea contains the highest levels of antioxidants known as polyphenols. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, several studies show that this beverage can lower LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol levels. It also boosts levels of HDL cholesterol, which sweeps bad cholesterol from your arteries. Researchers believe that green tea’s polyphenols inhibit absorption of cholesterol in the intestines and enhance its excretion from your body. Berry Juice Berries help reduce blood cholesterol levels, but some are more effective than others. In a study conducted by the University of California at Davis, researchers found that fresh berries significantly decreased LDL cholesterol. Blackberries were the most effective, followed by red raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. More research is needed to determine the amount of berries or juice people should consume to lower cholesterol. However, drinking more berry juice on a regular basis may be beneficial. Tart Cherry Juice Tart cherries are loaded with antioxidants that provide several benefits, including reducing cholesterol levels. In a study conducted at the University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center, rats that received whole tart cherry powder as part of a high-fat diet had significantly lower levels of cholesterol than other rats. Cherry juice is readily available at supermarkets and natural health stores. However, you can also make your own at home using dried cherries or cherry powder. Ginger Tea Ginger has been used medicinally for centuries to treat health problems such as nausea and diarrhea. Preliminary studies also indicate that it may also help lower cholesterol and prevent atherosclerosis, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center, which recommends not consuming more than 4g of ginger daily. Caution While green tea and ginger tea are generally safe, in some cases they may cause side effects. For instance, drinking too much green tea may cause insomnia, dizziness or irritability. Ginger tea may cause heartburn or stomach upset. Also, these drinks can interact with certain medications. Consult your doctor about consuming these drinks to control your cholesterol levels.

Which resulted in a decrease of “bad” LDL cholesterol by 17% Additional Improvements were seen in a lowering of triglycerides (which are the most common fat types in the human body), blood pressure and C-reactive protein (which is a marker of inflammation). This was examined in both randomized and non-randomized controlled trials, so they took into account multiple variables. In fact, these four foods are so effective that several government organizations have recognized and are utilizing the benefits of this specific diet which includes these foods. And the best type of diet which includes these 4 food types are “plant based” diets. However, if you don’t want to go 100% plant based, that’s fine… You can still reap the benefits by simply adding in these 4 foods types into your current diet. The 4 Food Types For Improving Heart Health NUTS Healthy fats in nuts are very healthy, and I think almonds, macadamia and walnuts are best. Ideally you would soak them in water for 8 hours before eating, to improve digestion Plant Proteins This was from plant proteins obtained either from soy-based foods such as tofu, soy milk, or other soy-based meat substitutes. As you may know from previous videos, I’m not a fan of soy because it lowers thyroid and testosterone, while increasing estrogens. A better source of plant proteins would be from beans, peas, chickpeas or lentils. Remember that you can also have these plant proteins in powder form - such as pea and rice protein. Fiber The study used primarily soluble fiber, such as "oats, barley, psyllium, eggplant, okra, apples, oranges, and berries". Plant Sterols Certain foods containing plant sterols, can also help lower “bad”, LDL cholesterol. These are “cholesterol-like” compounds that can be found in certain fruits, vegetables, nuts and cereals. 3 Additional Foods Numerous studies have also shown that 3 additional foods are also very beneficial. Primarily when take in a supplemental “extract” form, which is far more concentrated and effective than the food source: Policosanol 2 - which is a natural supplement derived from sugarcane. Artichoke Leaf Extract 3 - which has numerous studies going back to the early 1930’s Red Yeast Rice Extract 5,6 - which has been safely used in China for over 2000 years My Parents & Their Results What’s interesting is that in 1998 I used a modified version of this diet with my parents to help lower their cholesterol. This is because I wanted to get them off of the statin cholesterol lowering drugs, which had a lot of negative side-effects ======================================== Thank you for watching. Goodbye Cholesterol, Blood Glucose, Lipids And Triglycerides

Goodbye Cholesterol, Blood Glucose, Lipids And Triglycerides Please SUBSCRIBE : http://bit.ly/2e9Su11 The story of my ex-professor, told a few years ago, revived my hope in natural remedies. One day, he showed me a blood test of a patient, whose key parameters, urea, cholesterol, blood glucose, lipids, and triglycerides, were extremely higher than the normal ranges. This actually puzzled me, as my first thought was that this patient must be already dead. However, what was even more surprising was when my professor revealed the name of the patient, which was initially hidden with his hand- the patient was the professor himself! In a shock, I started asking questions, about his condition, and his plans for improving it. Yet, he gave me another sheet analysis, and he told me to review the dates and check the values of the parameters. The values were perfect, indicating the state of a perfectly healthy man. What was the biggest shock, after all, was the difference in the dates: only a month! He also said that he does the same treatment once annually now, in order to preserve his well-being. This is the secret that save the life of my professor: For a period of 4 weeks, you should buy raw pumpkin once a week, and peel 100 grams of it. Then, add it to a blender, add some water, and prepare an incredibly healthy pumpkin smoothie. This smoothie should be consumed 15-20 minutes before breakfast, on a daily basis. Make sure you control the outcome of the treatment to be sure of its effects. Moreover, it causes no side-effects as it is completely natural. Due to the impressive effects of the treatment with this smoothie, my professor, who is a chemical engineer, started investigating the pumpkins in order to discover the origin of its beneficial effects. What he found was that the compounds in pumpkin cleanse the arteries, and remove all LDL cholesterol from them. Moreover, they increase the energy levels and make you feel fresh and energized during the day. ========================================= GOODBYE CHOLESTEROL, BLOOD GLUCOSE, LIPIDS AND TRIGLYCERIDES, CHOLESTEROL, cholesterol levels, cholesterol test, cholesterol symptoms, cholesterol medications, cholesterol lowering foods, cholesterol diet, triglycerides, cholesterol foods, Goodbye Cholesterol Blood Glucose Lipids And Triglycerides, pumpkin https://youtu.be/2HlG82JZ1PY Please SUBSCRIBE : http://bit.ly/2e9Su11

Metabolism & Nutrition, part 1: Crash Course A&P #36

10:33

On this week's video, after that amazing "MEDIA OFFLINE" graphic goes away, I talk a little bit about my personal experience with high cholesterol (particularly LDL), statin medications, and how my thoughts and views surrounding those things changed when I started a ketogenic diet. **Of course, I'm not a medical professional or doctor. None of this is advice. Always talk to your doctor, and do your own research.** Here are some of the articles and resources surrounding cholesterol and LDL that I've found to good starting points: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16652223 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2716748/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15505128 Dave Feldman's fascinating cholesterol research is all available on his website: http://cholesterolcode.com Here's his presentation from KetoFest 2017: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tf55H-_aEns If you like this video, please consider subscribing. Prevent Diseases Such As Stroke and Heart Attack Plus Load You With Power and Vigor! You’re about to discover how to: Completely clean out the plaque buildup in your arteries Drop your cholesterol to a healthy level And boost your physical and mental energy to levels you didn’t think possible . . . all by cutting out just ONE simple ingredient you didn’t even know you were consuming. That’s right! We’re not talking about your favorite beefsteak, butter, fat, or any other product you’re consciously eating. We’re not even talking about cholesterol as you know it. Yet, you’re blindly consuming this ingredient every single day. And when I tell you what this ingredient is, you’ll be so disgusted that you’ll never eat it again. You’ll begin to obsessively read food labels and research every meal that you eat to make sure you never put this horrendous ingredient in your mouth again. And again, NO, we’re not talking about: preservatives chemicals or anything else really listed on the food labels Because, frankly, this ingredient will give you chills! I’ll explain in a minute exactly what this ingredient is and how to completely cut it out of your diet. But first, the really good news. You see, once you’ve cut out this ingredient, you won’t believe the positive effects you’ll feel. Because the plaque buildup in your arteries is taking away 50–80% of your energy! Just think about it . . . Blood circulation is the lifeline of your body. Every single cell depends on blood to bring it nutrition and oxygen, as well as remove waste. If organs don’t receive enough oxygen, they under-function. And that’s exactly what happens when plaque builds up in your arteries. You may feel shortness of breath if your heart’s arteries are clogged, but that’s the smallest part of the story. The cholesterol plaque builds up in every artery in your body, affecting every organ. It causes . . . Brain fog – when arteries in the brain narrow Muscle pain and weakness – when arteries to the muscles narrow Erectile and other sexual dysfunctions – when arteries around the genitals narrow . . . leading to all kinds of complications years before you even suffer your first heart attack or stroke. And make no mistake . . . You will suffer a heart attack or stroke! That’s if you don’t take action today and cut out this one ingredient. Cardiovascular diseases are the number one cause of death in the world. And if you’ve already been diagnosed as high risk – meaning you have high cholesterol or high blood pressure – you’re almost guaranteed to suffer a heart attack or stroke, if you don’t take drastic measures. But after learning today how to manage this one ingredient, you’re going to see your doctor’s eyes pop out with astonishment. Your doctor will not believe that you can bring down your cholesterol and clear out your arteries without drugs. Is there a way to lower youre cholesterol level naturally?, See more here: http://tinyurl.com/CholesterolXperts Breaking Update: There is currently the threat of a lawsuit against us for sharing the information about oxidized cholesterol and how to eliminate it naturally. The German health center, as well as some US pharmaceutical companies, do not want us to spread this knowledge to the general public. Especially since we’re doing it for only a fraction of the price they charge in their health center (aside from the additional travel and lodging expenses). So, we may be forced by the courts to take this page down at any time. This could happen fast. Even today or tomorrow! So, if this page is not here the next time you visit, and this important information is no longer available, you know what happened. I’m going to put up a fight, but I beg you, don’t let them win the war against your heart and health. Why Does Testosterone Decrease | The Truth About How to Boost Testosterone- Thomas DeLauer

How Testosterone Declines in Men (Physiologically, HPTA Axis, etc) HPTA = Hypothalamic Pituitary Gonadal Axis This axis produces circulating steroids important for male sexual function, fertility and development. Prostate and penis are steroid sensitive organs impacted by the regulation of the HPTA. This reproductive axis consists of three parts: 1. Hypothalamus -Produces GnRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone) 2. Pituitary Gland -GnRH is sent to the pituitary gland where it stimulates the synthesis and release of gonadotropic hormones LH and FSH. 3. Testis -Gonads carry LH to the testis where they stimulate testosterone production through the testicular Leydig cells -Testosterone is produced by conversion of cholesterol -FSH is crucial for spermatogenesis Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is the activated form of testosterone. 2% of testosterone is free or unbound, with the remainder being bound to SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin), albumin- and cortisol-binding globulin. Bioavailable testosterone is the testosterone that is not bound to SHBG. Testosterone and DHT act on organs. -Causes development of secondary sexual characteristics -Inhibit secretion of LH and FSH by the pituitary gland, thus stops further testosterone production = negative feedback loop. -There exist androgen receptors in the pituitary and the hypothalamic neurons that bind to testosterone and signal to stop GnRH release Homeostasis is maintained through this loop - once testosterone stops being produced, this inhibited secretion stops and GnRH again causes LH and FSH release to produce further testosterone. As men age, they undergo hormonal level changes: -Testosterone decrease -LH and FSH increase -Other hormones that decrease: T3, insulin, growth hormone/insulin-like growth factor 1, thyroid stimulating hormone -Also an increase in SHBG -Dihydrotestosterone levels are unchanged -Estrogen levels unchanged As men age, the decrease in testosterone paired with the increase in SHBG leads to a decline in free, or bioavailable, testosterone. These hormonal changes start in the 30s and are well established by the 50s. Levels of testosterone vary greatly between men and not all men will be classified as hypogonadal as they age. What causes these hormone changes? 1. Testicular failure due to a decline in Leydig cell mass 2. Hypothalamic-pituitary system, or secondary hypogonadism failure -Believed not to be due to primary hypogonadism (disease of the testes) due to small increase in LH and decrease in responsiveness of LH and FSH to GnRH 3. Change in androgen receptor site sensitivity One can distinguish between those with pituitary disorders or hypothalamic disease by administering GnRH. Those with pituitary disorders will not respond by producing more LH and FSH whereas those with hypothalamic disorders will respond with increased LH and FSH. Numerous studies have shown a positive impact of healthy, dietary fat intake on testosterone levels in men. Cholesterol is tied to the production of sex hormones. Testosterone is created in the Leydig cells when LH triggers the cells to convert cholesterol into testosterone. Cholesterol is the precursor to pregnenolone, which is the precursor of steroid hormones. Pregnenolone is the precursor of progesterone, which is then converted into testosterone (progesterone is also converted into cortisol and aldosterone.) 💪The Most Powerful Testosterone Boosting Food - Clinically Proven

It’s all minor initially …. but over time, it becomes more noticeable because the minute I add this ONE food back into my diet - it’s like WOW… My morning erections and sex drive is super powerful again … especially when I add in some specific herbs, vitamins and supplements… which I’ll tell you about in a minute. And today you’ll discover exactly What this one food is What’s the best kind to buy How to prepare it correctly How much to eat When it’s the best time to eat it. And all of this will only cost you about a dollar or two a day! Okay, so without any further delay - this super, testosterone-boosting food is: WHOLE EGGS! And yes, I said whole eggs, with the yolk! Egg whites are for losers. Nature made the perfect protein because the egg contains all the essential amino acids - half are in the white and the other have in the yolk. THAT’S why you need to have the entire egg. However, it’s not the “protein” that’s important for increasing your testosterone - it’s the CHOLESTEROL found in the yolk! And no, this doesn’t mean you should then have only the yolks - you need the entire egg. And before I tell you why the cholesterol is so important for testosterone production - I want to first stop and tell anyone listening who is thinking “wait a minute, isn’t this going to raise my cholesterol? Isn’t cholesterol bad for your health?” The answer is that yes, eggs do raise cholesterol - but it’s the good, HDL cholesterol!1,2 So, that’s the first myth that I want to expose. The second is that “high” blood cholesterol is not due to the cholesterol you eat from your diet. This is because 80% of cholesterol is made INTERNALLY, by your liver.1,2 Unfortunately, as we age, as you liver becomes weaker and you have negative changes in your hormones due to aging, your body and liver isn’t as efficient for getting rid of excess cholesterol and that’s why there’s an increase. Remember, cholesterol is good for your health. EVERY cell in your body requires cholesterol to function properly. And, this is especially important for testosterone production. This is also why taking cholesterol lowering “statin” drugs causes lowered libido Muscle loss and weakness Depression Memory loss And other health ailments such as diabetes, high blood pressure, alzheimer's, etc. So if you do have high cholesterol - eating eggs isn’t the problem WHEN it’s done correctly and that’s what I’ll tell you in a minute. However, in the description area below this video, I have a link for a simple and 20 year proven solution for lowering high cholesterol naturally - without drugs or even a change in your diet. But you can get that info at the end of this video. Eggs and Testosterone Levels Okay, so getting back to why eggs and cholesterol is so important for testosterone production. First, cholesterol has a similar 4-ring structure to testosterone. And, testosterone is also produced from cholesterol. And the best time have eggs is before bed because most of your testosterone is produced during sleep. So your body will now have enough “fuel” from the cholesterol from the eggs, to maximize production of testosterone while you’re sleeping -- assuming all of your hormones are functioning correctly. The best kind of eggs to have are “pastured” eggs… You want to have about 2-3 eggs a day, again before bed would be the best time. I have 4 or more eggs myself. Do the eggs at night and take specific “testosterone boosting herbs” in the morning and you’ll be set. ======================================== ======================================== Thank you for watching. How Does Cheerios Lower Cholesterol (Myths & Warnings Included)

09:49
Want a fast, easy and safe solution to lower your cholesterol? ►► http://drsam.co/yt/LowerCholesterolNaturally =============================== How Does Cheerios Lower Cholesterol =============================== The truth is that the cholesterol-lowering effect of Cheerios and other high-fiber foods is fairly small, so don’t expect any miracles. The Problems With Cheerios In fact, Cheerios can have a many negatives that most people don’t know and aren’t aware of… So much so that the FDA has issued MANY warnings against Cheerios in recent years because of false health claims. Only the “original” Cheerios can even make claims of “lowering cholesterol”. Even “original” Cheerios still has problems because it contains sugars, GMO grains and preservatives. Cheerios has no health values due to excess processing when manufacturing them. I’ll be honest with you – for 3 little grams of fiber found in the original Cheerios, you’re getting a lot of other negatives. So, I would pass on Cheerios… The 4 Healthiest, Fastest, Easiest & Safest Ways Of Lowering Your Cholesterol Naturally… 1. DIET Carbohydrates – Eliminate or at least limit all man-made carbohydrates – such as cakes, crackers, breads, chips, etc. Proteins – Americans eat way too much animal protein. Reduce the protein and limit it to vegetable sources, grass fed bison and wild-caught fish such as salmon. Fats – They are very important for proper hormone function. The best are RAW almonds, walnuts, avocados, fish oil and extra virgin coconut oil. Fiber – Eat lots of fiber, about 10-25 grams daily. The best sources would be from vegetables, legumes, fruits with skin, and nuts (walnuts are best). 2. EXERCISE All you need is 20-30 minutes of “something”, 3-4x a week. 3. STRESS MANAGEMENT Stress really does “kill” because of all the negative hormonal changes. 4. NATURAL HERBS & VITAMINS [important!] This made the biggest difference for my own parents. This is important because of aging and hormonal changes, your body needs specific nutrients to help regulate and improve your cholesterol levels and triglycerides from within, naturally. Aid In Weight Loss If you want to lose weight faster, swimming can be the best exercise for you. A noted study found out that an hour of vigorous swimming can burn around 715 calories. According to the researchers at the Indiana University, when they compared recreational fitness swimmers with non swimmers, they found out that swimmers had more trimmer waists and hips. 5. Relieves Stress Swimming has its own mood-boosting effects and it can work wonders for your stress levels. If your swimming exercise spans for about 30 minutes, your body will feel relaxed and stress free. So, take off the stress from your shoulders by swimming! 6. Improves Sleep Swimming has an immense power to help you sleep better at night. People suffering from insomnia will get better sleep once they start swimming. If you are looking to improve your sleep, swimming is the perfect exercise for you. 7. Great For Your Lungs When you are swimming, your body adapts to use oxygen more efficiently. The body learns to take in more fresh air with every breath and expel more of the carbon dioxide. This keeps the lungs healthy and results in a lower resting heart rate, and lowers the blood pressure. 8. Boosts Energy Swimming boosts up your energy levels to the core. It is because all your muscles are working while you are swimming and this charges up the body. Spending half an hour in swimming, you will become more active during the rest of the day. 9. Improves Cholesterol Swimming can reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) and promote the increase of good cholesterol - thanks to its aerobic power. It keeps your cholesterol levels stable and helps to maintain your body to stay in a good shape. 10. Helps Strengthen Your Muscles One of the biggest benefits of swimming is that it works up your entire body. There are various strokes used while swimming and each of these focuses on different muscle groups. This helps to strengthen your muscles and builds strength and endurance. Is Peanut Butter Bad for You?

05:57
For more info: https://draxe.com/peanut-butter-nutrition-facts/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Jan-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=peanutbutter Is peanut butter bad for you? The answer is yes and no. It depends on how much you consume, the variety of nut you’re eating, and what the rest of your diet looks like. To put it simply, peanut butter can be harmful because peanuts are high in omega-6 fats, which causes inflammation. We do not consume enough omega-3 fats, which reduce inflammation. Secondly, peanuts are grown on the ground and can develop mold, which can be a factor in a lot of kid’s allergy developments today. If you want to eat your peanut butter and still be healthy, here are some tips. When you’re buying peanuts, make sure you’re buying a certified organic brand, usually Valencia or Jungle peanuts, which are grown on bushes higher up from the ground, avoiding mold. Additionally, adding flax seed oil or fish oil supplements to your diet to increase your level of omega-3 fats is important. Consuming peanut butter can be part of a healthy diet if you’re consuming it with the right type of foods. Peanuts are one of the highest forms of plant-based proteins available today, as well. So, if you buy organic, jungle peanuts and you’re consuming a lot of omega-3 fats in your diet, then it can be healthy to consume peanut butter. However, the biggest problem with peanut butter today is that 99% of peanut butters contain hydrogenated oils, are non-organic, and people are consuming too many omega-6 fats. For this reason, peanut butter is not good for you and can cause weight gain and inflammation. They want things that they can implement without really looking like they're on a diet, or looking like they're really trying to take part in any kind of health initiative whatsoever. People just want simple ways to get healthier, simple ways to feel better. I thought that this video would be perfect because there's no easier way to start getting your body healthier, and start detoxing your body so that you can do better in business and feel better, than by using this super liquid called apple cider vinegar. I know there's tons of stuff on the Internet about apple cider vinegar. There's stuff everywhere. We all know it's a pretty healthy drink, but I want to go into detail about how it might help you as a businessperson, how it might help you get more focus in the office, how it might help you get more energy in the gym, and get more out of the meals that you're eating. Before I go into intricate detail about how you can use apple cider vinegar, let's talk about what it is. Apple cider vinegar is basically just apple cider that's been fermented. You've got the sugar in apple cider, you've got the sugar in apple juice, well the fermentation process allows that sugar to turn into something called an organic acid. That organic acid levels the pH with in your body. When you level the pH within your body it allows healthy bacteria and healthy flora to really flourish within your body. It's been proven quite often that good health gut bacteria leads to a healthier brain, and also less stress. In fact according to the official journal of the European Gastrointestinal and Motility Society, it was found that an increase in probiotics within the intestinal tract modulated neuroregulatory factors associated directly with stress. In simple human terms, by having more probiotics within your digestive tract we can directly reduce the impact of stress on our brains. As business people, we know how critical that is. When you give your body acid in the way of apple cider vinegar or in lemon juice, it actually lowers the pH value because then your body doesn't have to produce more acid. You see, you're giving it an exogenous or external source of acid so naturally, internally, it reduces it. Let's talk about how apple cider vinegar can help you specifically, in terms of testosterone and cholesterol. Apple cider vinegar has this crazy effect on the liver. It forces the liver to become more bioproductive. What I mean by that is it allows the liver to process cholesterol easier. When the liver can process cholesterol, it allows the cholesterol to do its job in terms of getting converted into testosterone. You've got leydig cells within the body that take that cholesterol and convert it into testosterone later on. By improving the bioproduction of the liver, you're improving how much testosterone can be produced. As a byproduct, you're also going to rid your body of extra cholesterols that are floating through the bloodstream that don't need to be utilized; in essence, the bad cholesterol. Apple cider vinegar will help you reduce that. Let's get into how you use it. This is where going to kind of break into a hack. This is what I've found, as a businessperson, the best way to use apple cider vinegar. Put it in a little teeny bottle, you don't have to carry it around in a big bottle, and have a couple of tablespoons after every meal, plain and simple. You see, people get too crazy with it; they try to get too fancy. There's so many ways that you could make it taste good, but we're all grownups here; just take a couple of tablespoons, drop it in your mouth, get it over with right after you eat, lower your blood sugar, get the benefits from it, and move on with your day. If you absolutely positively can't do that, or you're at home and you want to find a way to enjoy your apple cider vinegar, mix it up with some water, mix it up with some lemon juice, maybe a little bit of Stevia and some agave, and make a lemonade out of it. The acidic flavor of the apple cider vinegar actually complements the lemon, it ends up tasting really damn good. So there you have it. A simple formula that you can use to lower your blood sugar, increase your testosterone production, lower your cholesterol, but most of all improve the healthy bacteria within your gut that's going to help you absorb more nutrients, get more focused, and keep those cortisol levels low where they belong. So be like Johnny Appleseed. Go grab an apple, ferment it, and get back to work. See you soon.

Carbs & Fat: Metabolism Made Easy | CoQ10- Thomas DeLauer

05:21
Carbs & Fat: Metabolism Made Easy | CoQ10- Thomas DeLauer… What is CoQ10? Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), also known as Ubiquinone, is an essential nutrient that acts as an antioxidant within the body and is found in most aerobic organisms from bacteria to mammals. There are various types of Coenzyme Q, but the most common type in human mitochondria is CoQ10. The mitochondria - also known as the powerhouse of cells – produces ATP within the body, which in turn provides the body with the energy it needs to function. CoQ10 is involved in the synthesis/manufacture of Adenosine triphosphate (ATP). As most cellular functions are dependent on an adequate supply of Adenosine triphosphate (ATP), CoQ10 is essential for the health of virtually all human tissues and organs. (5) http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com for all your business, health, and fitness answers. How CoQ10 Works: Mitochondrial ATP synthesis- The conversion of energy from carbohydrates and fats to adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the form of energy used by cells, requires the presence of coenzyme Q in the inner mitochondrial membrane. As part of the mitochondrial electron transport chain, coenzyme Q accepts electrons from reducing equivalents generated during fatty acid and glucose metabolism and then transfers them to electron acceptors. At the same time, coenzyme Q transfers protons outside the inner mitochondrial membrane, creating a proton gradient across that membrane. The energy released when the protons flow back into the mitochondrial interior is used to form ATP. (1) 3 Benefits: 1) Powerful Antioxidant- Coq10 is an effective fat-soluble antioxidant. CoQ10 has been found to inhibit lipid peroxidation, which occurs when cell membranes and low-density lipoproteins are exposed to oxidizing conditions that enter from outside the body. When LDL is oxidized, CoQ10 is one of the first antioxidants consumed to help offset the effects. Within mitochondria, coenzyme Q10 has been found to protect membrane proteins and DNA from the oxidative damage that accompanies lipid peroxidation and neutralize free radicals directly. 2) Regulate Blood Pressure/Hypertension: Two short-term placebo-controlled trials found that coenzyme Q10 supplementation resulted in moderate blood pressure decreases in hypertensive individuals. Second Study/Trial- In 2007 Meta-analysis was performed in 12 clinical trials (362 patients) comprising three randomized controlled trials, one crossover study and eight open label studies. The meta-analysis of 12 clinical trials, including 362 hypertensive patients, found that supplemental coenzyme Q10 reduces systolic blood pressure by 11-17 mm Hg and diastolic blood pressure by 8-10 mm Hg. (2) 3) High Cholesterol: People with high cholesterol tend to have lower levels of CoQ10, so CoQ10 has been proposed as a treatment for high cholesterol, but scientific studies are lacking. There is some evidence it may reduce side effects from conventional treatment with cholesterol-lowering drugs called statins, which reduce natural levels of CoQ10 in the body. Taking CoQ10 supplements can bring levels back to normal. Plus, studies show that CoQ10 may reduce the muscle pain associated with statin treatment. (1) References: 1) Coenzyme Q10. Statins and Cholesterol

08:17
Statins are one of the most highly prescribed and commercially successful drugs in modern society, due to their ability to decrease LDL-cholesterol and lower the risk of developing cardiovascular disease. Learn more about the history, mechanism, and side effects of statins in this episode of Medicurio. Other lipoprotein particles: You may have heard of LDL cholesterol as "bad" cholesterol because it clogs up the blood vessels with plaque. Its counterpart, HDL or "good" cholesterol does the opposite - HDL particles move throughout the bloodstream and pick up any cholesterol it finds and brings it back to the liver. Often times, plaque formation is dependent on both how much LDL and how little HDL there is in the blood. Not Well Known Secrets for Energy & Weight Loss

17:27
Not Well Known Secrets for Energy & Weight Loss. The real secret to raising your energy levels and also a great method to easier weight lose is producing more ATP in the body. ATP or adenosine triphosphate is the unit of energy transfer from the mitochondria of the cells. Raising ATP will vastly increase your energy levels and also make it much easier to burn fat. The combination of alpha lipoic acid and N-acetyl L carnitine enables the body to produce ATP and thus boost your energy levels at the cellular level and enable you to more effortlessly burn the body fat. Additionally alpha lipoic acid is touted to be maybe the world's strongest anti-oxidant and free radical scavenger. In other words alpha lipoic acid will help protect the body from aging due to the free radicals. During the production of ATP, the body will use up COQ10 (co-enzyme Q10) so it would be smart to supplement COQ10 also. COQ10 has been nicknamed the "heart vitamin" for good reason. COQ10 is vital to proper heart function and low COQ10 can lead to heart attacks. Additionally, commonly prescribed statins to lower cholesterol have been proven to lower the level of COQ10 (the heart vitamin) in the body by 40% to dangerously low levels. For this reason, in Japan, it is common practice to prescribe COQ10 supplements at the same time that statins are prescribed for cholesterol.

Saturated Fats and Ketosis | Are Saturated Fats Safe and How Much to Have: Thomas DeLauer

06:20
Consultation? - http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com Saturated Fats and Ketosis | Are Saturated Fats Safe and How Much to Have: Thomas DeLauer Saturated fats are common in the American diet They are shelf-stable, resistant to heat damage (solid at room temperature — think cooled bacon grease,) and essential to many bodily functions Roughly half of our cell membrane structure is composed of saturated fat, and saturated animal fats, like butter or fatty organ meats, contain huge amounts of essential fat-soluble vitamins (K2, A, D, among others) Common sources of saturated fat include red meat, whole milk and other whole-milk dairy foods, cheese, coconut oil, and many commercially prepared baked goods and other foods The word "saturated" refers to the number of hydrogen atoms surrounding each carbon atom The chain of carbon atoms holds as many hydrogen atoms as possible — it's saturated with hydrogens Saturated Fats Bad Rep The fear of saturated fat began in the 1950s when Ancel Keys published a paper supposedly linking saturated fat/cholesterol with rising rates of heart disease The theory - called lipid hypothesis - proposed that there was a direct relationship between the amount of saturated fat and cholesterol in the diet and the incidence of coronary heart disease Keys based his theory on a study of six countries, in which higher saturated fat intake equated to higher rates of heart disease However, he conveniently ignored data from 16 other countries that did not fit his theory Had he chosen a different set of countries, the data would have shown that increasing the percent of calories from fat reduces the number of deaths from coronary heart disease When you include all 22 countries for which data was available at the time of his study, you find that those who consume the highest percentage of saturated fat have the lowest risk of heart disease (7) Studies Prove Otherwise A meta-analysis study, published 2010, which pooled data from 21 studies and included nearly 348,000 adults, found no difference in the risks of heart disease and stroke between people with the lowest and highest intakes of saturated fat A Japanese prospective study that followed 58,000 men for an average of 14 years found no association between saturated fat intake and heart disease, and an inverse association between saturated fat and stroke (i.e. those who ate more saturated fat had a lower risk of stroke) (1,4) While in Ketosis There is a misconception that eating fat makes you fat Fat doesn’t make you fat. While you can technically overeat enough fat calories to accumulate adipose tissue, thus getting fat, this is a difficult feat Fat is very satiating, especially when paired with low-carb eating Dietary fat in the presence of large amounts of dietary carbohydrates can make it difficult to access fat for energy Dietary fat in the presence of low levels of dietary carbohydrates makes it easier to access fat for energy (5) References 1) Dietary intake of saturated fatty acids and mortality from cardiovascular disease in Japanese: the Japan Collaborative Cohort Study for Evaluation ... - PubMed - NCBI. Is Rice Healthy?

06:10
For more info: https://draxe.com/brown-rice-nutrition/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Sept-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=rice Today I am answering the question, “Is rice healthy?” and explaining the difference between white rice and brown rice. My answer is that it really depends on you. I will show you the pros and cons of rice and go over what I believe is the healthiest rice today. There is a debate today about if you should consume rice or not: ⁃ The paleo diet community says to stay grain-free and therefore that rice is not healthy ⁃ Chinese medicine followers and vegans think rice can be an incredible superfood I believe there is validity to both but it depends on the person and the preparation of the rice. Rice to stay away from: Refined White Rice (This is not jasmine or basmati rice but the sticky white rice from fast food or Chinese restaurants.) Rice Cons: • Fiber, minerals and vitamins have been removed. • Study shows that people are twice as likely to develop diabetes as opposed to those eating whole grain brown rice. • Contains phytic acid (enzyme inhibitor) which keeps you from absorbing and digesting vitamins and minerals. • Contains proteins that are difficult to digest Rice Pros: • Whole grain brown rice is high in B3 which is good for heart health. • Whole grain brown rice is high in selenium which supports the thyroid and kidneys. • Certain types of rice contain GABA, a neurotransmitter that can support the brain and help reduce anxiety as well as support metabolism. So ... is rice healthy? Is brown rice healthy? It depends on how it is prepared. I believe if rice is soaked and sprouted, it unlocks the vitamins and minerals versus most rices that aren’t sprouted. I personally consume an organic rice from the company, True Roots. It is a germinated brown rice (soaked and sprouted) which kills off phytic acid and is easier to digest. In Chinese medicine, look up “qi” or “chi.” They believe that short grain brown rice increase your body’s “qi” which is your body’s life source and energy. It is considered to be one of the #1 healing foods. I suggest my patients make a “congee” with chicken bone broth, brown rice and vegetables such as carrots and celery. This chicken vegetable rice soup is healing and nourishing to the body. In conclusion, is rice healthy? Yes, it can be if you are doing sprouted rice that is traditionally prepared. Simply put, stay away from white refined rice that is void of vitamins and minerals and can cause a spike in your blood sugar and insulin levels. *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. Why Is Protein Important?

04:11
For more info: https://draxe.com/protein-foods/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Feb-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=protein Today I want to talk about the importance of protein and how it can benefit your physical performance and overall health. Whether you’re a weekend warrior, trying to lose weight, or a regular athlete, protein benefits everyone. Protein is the building block of our cells and muscles. It improves your metabolism, fat-burning potential, and supports your body’s tissues and cells. The average person needs about half their body weight in protein. If you weigh 150 pounds, then you need about 75 grams of protein a day. The best forms of protein you should be consuming are grass-fed beef, organic chicken and turkey, wild-caught salmon, grass-fed organic dairy products, quality protein powders, plant-based sources of protein, flax and chia seeds, and other nuts and seeds and beans. The biggest benefits of consuming protein include fat-burning, improving muscle recovery, healing cuts and wounds, essential for fighting diabetes and blood sugar, essential for brain function, essential for cholesterol, and high energy levels. When buying protein, making sure it’s from grass-fed, organic, natural sources. *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. Can You Gain Muscle On The Ketogenic Diet?

11:01
For those unfamiliar, ketogenic dieting is any diet plan “low-carb” enough to switch your body into a state of producing and burning a significant amount of ketones, specifically acetoacetate (AcAc) and its derivatives beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) and acetone. For those interested in background reading, I’ve previously written summary articles about the science of fat metabolism and ketosis here and here. These molecules, especially AcAc and BHB, are used by the brain and other tissues for energy, and facilitate a number of health benefits that I’ll address below. While the biological processes involved are extremely complex, I’d invite you to use this as the beginning of an important conversation for you and your doctor to explore together. Indeed, ketogenic dieting may or may not be appropriate for you, so please consult with your doctor before experimenting on yourself. Focusing the brain (increased memory, cognition, clarity, and seizure control; less migraines) Ketogenic diets were notably first used at the Mayo Clinic in the 1920s to treat children with epilepsy. While the exact mechanism of seizure prevention on a ketogenic diet is still a mystery, researchers believe it has something to do with the increased stability of neurons and up-regulation of brain mitochondria and mitochondrial enzymes. Related to this research, some serious attention has been given to ketogenic dieting and Alzheimers Disease. Scientists have discovered increased cognition and enhanced memory in adults with impairments in these areas, and a growing body of research shows improvement at all stages of dementia. Ketosis has been shown to be effective against Parkinson’s disease as well. For a broader audience of dieters, the often-reported side effects of increased mental clarity and focus and less frequent and less intense migraines are likely related to the more stable blood sugar and altered brain chemistry that improves memory and cognition as well. Fighting some types of cancer Dom D’Agostino’s lab published an article in 2014 entitled “Ketone supplementation decreases tumor cell viability and prolongs survival of mice with metastatic cancer.” Cancer cells express an abnormal metabolism characterized by increased glucose consumption owing to genetic mutations and mitochondrial dysfunction. Previous studies indicate that unlike healthy tissues, cancer cells are unable to effectively use ketone bodies for energy. Furthermore, ketones inhibit the proliferation and viability of cultured tumor cells. Preventing Heart Disease (lower blood pressure, lower triglycerides, better cholesterol profiles) Again, related to the downstream effects of keeping blood glucose low and stable, ketogenic dieting helps keep blood pressure in check and lowers triglyceride levels. While it may seem counterintuitive that eating a higher percentage of fat in your diet lowers triglycerides, it turns out that the consumption of excess carbs (especially fructose) is the key driver of increasing triglycerides. And regarding HDL and LDL particles (which the body uses to move fat and cholesterol around), ketogenic dieting helps raise HDL (“good cholesterol”) and improve the profile of LDL (“bad cholesterol”). Improving energy levels and sleep By day 4 or 5 on a ketogenic diet, most people report an increase in general energy levels and a lack of cravings for carbs. The mechanism here involves both a stabilization of insulin levels and readily available source of energy for our brain and body tissues. Sleep improvements are a bit more of a mystery. Studies have shown that ketogenic dieting improves sleep by decreasing REM and increasing slow-wave sleep patterns. While the exact mechanism is unclear, it likely is related to the complex biochemical shifts involving the brain’s use of ketones for energy combined with other body tissues directly burning fat. An important caveat is that ketogenic diet temporarily raises uric acid levels — especially when dehydrated — but over time they come down: Gaining muscle and improving endurance BHB, specifically, has been shown to promote muscle gain. Combined with tons of anecdotal evidence over the years, there is an entire movement behind bodybuilders using a ketogenic approach to gain more muscle and less fat (typically muscle gain also comes with fat gain, so there’s understandable attention being given toward preventing this). In addition, Dr. Stephen Phinney and Dr. Jeff Volek have a number of papers published about ketogenic dieting for ultra-endurance athletes. In short, once these athletes are fully fat-adapted, there is evidence to suggest that mental and physical performance is significantly improved beyond a “normal” carbohydrate-rich diet. And last but not least, curbing diabetes, obesity, and metabolic syndrome while sparing muscle loss

Please Subscribe! ▶ https://goo.gl/ksfh7M Eggs, whether boiled, poached, or scrambled, they are a great way to start your day. These little orbs are a great source of protein and amino-acids. Proteins are the building blocks of life. Every cell in the human-body contains protein. The basic structure of protein is a chain of amino-acids. You need protein in your diet to help your body repair cells and make new ones. Eggs are one of the few foods with complete proteins, that is, they contain proper proportions of all nine essential amino acids required by the body. They are also packed with numerous vitamins and minerals including Vitamin-A, vitamin-B12, Vitamin-D, Vitamin-E, folate, selenium, choline, and others. Eggs are one of the highest protein breakfast options One of the key steps you can take to help manage their appetite throughout the morning is to ensure that their breakfast choice has enough protein. 2-eggs served with 2 slices of wholegrain toast contain at least 20g of protein, much of which is of ‘high biological value’ protein, which means it is easily used in the body. This means that choosing eggs for breakfast will give you at least 25% more protein than other popular breakfast choices. Here are few of the many Amazing Health Benefits your body receives If You Eat 2 Eggs at Breakfast For a Month 1.Eggs Raises the Good Cholesterol Eating eggs leads to elevated levels of HDL (High-density lipoprotein), which is also known as the “good” cholesterol. People who have higher HDL levels have a lower risk of heart disease, stroke and other health issues. According to one study, eating two eggs a day for six weeks increased the good-cholesterol level by 10-percent. 2.Can Help You lose That Extra weight Forget counting calories and cutting out carbs. The key to losing weight could be as simple as having 2-eggs for breakfast. Scientists have shown that those who start their day with poached, boiled or scrambled eggs can lose up to two-thirds more weight than others. The secret of the egg's success lies in its ability to make us feel full for longer than many other foods there-by consuming less calories. 3.Eggs help with brain development and memory. Choline, an essential nutrient found in eggs, stimulates brain development and function. It has also been linked with increasing memory-power and alertness 4.2 Eggs at breakfast can protect your eyesight. Two antioxidants, leutin and zeaxanthin, are present in eggs and have been linked to protecting eyes from damage related to Ultra-Violet exposure. They have also been associated with reducing the likelihood of developing cataracts in your old age 5.Strong Bones Hard-boiled eggs provide Vitamin-D to keep your bones and teeth strong. Vitamin-D promotes the absorption of calcium and regulates calcium levels in your blood. This process ensures that your skeleton gets the calcium it needs for strength and structure. You need 600 international units of Vitamin-D each day, reports the Office of Dietary Supplements. You get about 45 international units of Vitamin-D from one large hard-boiled egg. The role of omega-3 fatty acids in cardiovascular disease is important is dha omega 3. In fact, experts recommend eating a diet low in saturated fat and rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats (including omega-3 fatty acids) to prevent heart disease. The fatty acids help reduce risk factors for heart disease, including high cholesterol and high blood pressure, by slowing the development of plaque and blood clots, which can clog arteries. This is important to reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes and abnormal heart rhythms in people who are at a higher risk of suffering from heart disease. Failing eyesight or other eye problems are another sign of essential fatty acid deficiency. These fatty acids are an important component of fat molecules, omega 3 fatty acids dha and epa which keep your eyes healthy. They also aid proper drainage of intraocular fluid from the eye, thus decreasing the risk of high eye pressure and glaucoma. Dry eye syndrome also has been linked to omega-3 deficiency. A 2009 study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition reports that people who consumed the most omega-3s were 30 percent less likely to develop macular degeneration than those who ate less. This study was carried out over 12 years. A low level of omega-3 fatty acids in the body may lead to inflamed joints krill oil, which in turn may cause rheumatoid arthritis. The omega-3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce pain and inflammation in the body. The fatty acids also help ease joint tenderness, decrease stiffness and may help lessen the need for medication. In addition, these healthy fats may decrease symptoms of morning stiffness and tender or swollen joints, along with helping increase blood flow during exercise. A 2006 study published in Surgical Neurology reports that omega-3 fish oil supplements worked just as well as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in reducing arthritic pain and are a safer alternative to NSAIDs. When your diet lacks omega-3 fatty acids, you may have difficulty losing the extra pounds. In fact, when you wish to lose weight, increase your intake of omega-3 fatty acids and reduce your carbohydrate intake. Is Coffee Bad for You?

05:11
For more info: https://draxe.com/coffee-nutrition-facts/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Jan-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=coffee One of the most common questions I’ve been getting recently is, “Is coffee bad for you?” The answer is, yes … and no. Coffee is beneficial because it contains massive amounts of antioxidants, which help slow the aging process and protect you from free radical damage. Coffee also helps stimulate the liver and increases circulation, helping blood flow to the brain. Coffee can be harmful in some ways because of the amount of caffeine it contains. The caffeine in coffee can overstimulate the body, burn out your adrenal glands, and overtax your body. About 80% of people in the world will struggle with thyroid problems or fatigue issues. For this group, I wouldn’t recommend coffee because it will burn out your adrenal glands. However, if you’re generally healthy, then drinking coffee in moderate amounts can be fine, and even good for your health. I wouldn’t recommend drinking coffee past lunch time because it can affect your sleep cycle that night. Depending on the condition of your body, if you’re suffering from an autoimmune disease, coffee can make your disease worse. If you’re pretty healthy, looking for a pick-me-up, or looking for more antioxidants, then coffee can provide you these benefits. When picking out your coffee beans, I would recommend choosing all natural, organic coffee because it’s one of the most highly sprayed plants in the world. Lastly, if you’re looking for a great substitute for coffee, I would suggest drinking matcha green tea because it has great benefits and one-third the amount of caffeine. *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. Ketogenic Diet: 28 Days Into Keto ( Dehydration, Underestimated Fluid needs, Minerals, Week 4)

04:44

Side Effects Of Eating Chocolate Everyday: Why Is Chocolate Bad For You? 😱

02:43
Side effects of eating chocolate everyday why is chocolate bad for you. A lot of people enjoy eating as a guilty pleasure snack leading to a serious addiction effects of eating chocolate everyday that’s bad things about chocolate. While it could be a healthy source due to its increased antioxidants, you should differentiate between the various type’s dangers of chocolate including dark, bitter, white and semisweet varieties. 10 reasons why chocolate is bad for you the more it is processed (added sugars and flavors), the fewer health benefits remain in the finished product. This is why raw cacao products (dark chocolate) have become so popular while milk chocolate if not eaten moderately could lead to unhealthy side bad effects of chocolate on the brain mood. Here are some of the Side Effects of Milk Chocolate: Heart Disease: Processed milk chocolate is high in unhealthy fats such as saturated fats. Cocoa beans contain primarily two types of saturated fats, palmitic and stearic acids, as well as one monounsaturated fat, oleic acid. Saturated fats might contribute to hardening of the arteries, which could lead to high cholesterol levels, heart attack or stroke. Weight Gain: Is milk chocolate good for you? Milk chocolate might lead to weight-gain and hinder weight-loss efforts. Increased fat and calories in the diet will contribute to weight gain if calories ingested exceed those burned. Being overweight or obese is a risk factor for several serious health conditions, including diabetes, heart attack and stroke. Is milk chocolate bad for you? High Sugar Levels: Eating milk chocolate in large quantities leads to a high intake of refined sugars. Sugar is devoid of nutrients and high in calories, and might lead to weight gain and illness such as diabetes. Refined simple sugars increase the production of insulin in the body, which causes blood glucose levels to fluctuate. Shortly after eating foods high in sugar, energy levels crash, leaving you craving more high-sugar foods. This increases you caloric intake and affects your mood and energy levels. Watch Your Caffeine: Is dark chocolate bad for you? The caffeine in chocolate ranges from 6 milligrams in 1 ounce of milk chocolate to 23 milligrams in dark chocolate. Because it’s a stimulant, too much caffeine may make you feel jittery or anxious and interfere with a good night’s sleep. Michigan State University also reports that high caffeine consumption is associated with loss of bone density and dehydration. Is dark chocolate fattening. Sugar Complications: What chocolate does to your body? It is high in sugar. Without sugar it would taste too bitter for most people to eat. High amounts of sugar in your diet can lead to dental problems like gum disease and cavities. Another concern of eating large amounts of sugar each day is the increased risk for diabetics. Is chocolate bad for your skin?

What is ketogenic Diet Plan - Health Benefits and Side Effects of Ketogenic Diet

05:56
What is ketogenic Diet Plan - Health Benefits and Side Effects of Ketogenic Diet What is a Ketogenic or Keto Diet? For many people, the ketogenic diet is a great option for weight loss. It is very different and allows the person on the diet to eat a diet that consists of foods that you may not expect. So the ketogenic diet, or keto, is a diet that consists of very low carbs and high fat. How many diets are there where you can start your day off with bacon and eggs, loads of it, then follow it up with chicken wings for lunch and then steak and broccoli for dinner. That may sound too good to be true for many. Well on this diet this is a great day of eating and you followed the rules perfectly with that meal plan. When you eat a very low amount of carbs your body gets put into a state of ketosis. What this means is your body burns fat for energy. How low of an amount of carbs do you need to eat in order to get into ketosis? Well, it varies from person to person, but it is a safe bet to stay under 25 net carbs. Many would suggest that when you are in the "induction phase" which is when you are actually putting your body into ketosis, you should stay under 10 net carbs. If you aren't sure what net carbs are, let me help you. Net carbs are the amount of carbs you eat minus the amount of dietary fiber. So if on the day you eat a total of 35 grams of net carbs and 13 grams of dietary fiber, your net carbs for the day would be 22. Simple enough, right? So besides weight loss what else is good about keto? Well many people talk about their improved mental clarity on when on the diet. Another benefit is having an increase in energy. Yet another is a decreased appetite. One thing to worry about when going on the ketogenic diet is something called "keto flu." Not everyone experiences this, but for this that do it can be tough. You will feel lethargic and you may have a headache. It won't last very long. When you feel this way make sure you get plenty of water and rest to get through it. If this sounds like the kind of diet you would be interested in, then what are you waiting for? Dive heard first into keto. You won't believe the results you get in such a short amount of time. What are you waiting for? Let's get you started with keto today! Top 5 health benefits of ketogenic diet: =============================== 1- Helps your eye sight: less risk for cataracts and more stable vision 2- Helps in weight loss: It takes more work to turn fat into energy than it takes to turn carbs into energy. Because of this, a ketogenic diet can help speed up weight loss. Since the diet is high in protein, it doesn't leave you hungry like other diets do. 3- Prevents Heart Disease: better cholesterol profiles, lower blood pressure, lower triglycerides. Again, related to the downstream effects of keeping blood glucose low and stable, ketogenic dieting helps keep blood pressure in check and lowers triglyceride levels. 4.- Helps Decrease inflammation: Improves acne, arthritis, eczema, psoriasis, IBS, pain, etc… A Nature Medicine article last year found a likely mechanism behind what people have known for decades: ketogenic dieting is profoundly anti-inflammtory and helps with a host of related health problems. The researchers found that “the anti-inflammatory effects of caloric restriction or ketogenic diets may be linked to BHB-mediated inhibition of the NLRP3 inflammasome.” In other words, the key player in many inflammatory diseases is suppressed by BHB, which is one of the main ketones produced from a ketogenic diet. Thus the implications on arthritis, acne, psoriasis, eczema, IBS, and other diseases involving inflammation and pain are significant enough that it is prompting more research attention. 5- Helps Improve energy levels & sleep By day FOUR or FIVE on a ketogenic diet, majority people report an increase in general energy levels and a lack of cravings for carbs. The mechanism here involves both a stabilization of insulin levels and readily available source of energy for our brain and body tissues. Sleep improvements are a bit more of a mystery. Studies have shown that ketogenic dieting improves sleep by decreasing REM & increasing slow-wave sleep patterns. While the exact mechanism is unclear, it likely is related to the complex biochemical shifts involving the brain’s use of ketones for energy combined with other body tissues directly burning fat. Cordyceps Mushroom Benefits as an Energy Tonic360p

14:51
Pleas Conact my Whatsapp Number +923212551349 (Mr. WASEEM AHMED) GOOD MORNING DXN,..Cordyceps sinensis, the Cordyceps species most widely used as a dietary supplement, naturally grows on the back of the larvae of a caterpillar from the mothHepialus armoricanus Oberthur found mainly in China, Nepal, and Tibet. The mycelium invades the caterpillar and eventually replaces the host tissue. The stroma (fungal fruit body) grows out of the top of the caterpillar. The remaining structures of the caterpillar along with the fungus are dried and sold as the dietary supplement cordyceps. Commonly known as “dong chong xia cao” (summer-plant, winter-worm) in Chinese, cordyceps has been used as a tonic food in China and Tibet and has been used as a food supplement and tonic beverage among the rich because of its short supply due to over harvesting. It is also an ingredient in soups and other foods used traditionally in Chinese medicine for thousands of years helping debilitated patients recover from illness. Although written record of Cordyceps sinensis use appeared in Traditional Chinese Medicine centuries ago, it wasn’t really noticed in the West until recently. The last two decades have seen a great increase in research on cordyceps as a medicinal mushroom. There are many reported cordyceps health benefits. Some of these include: Cholesterol reduction Stimulation of the immune system Faster recovery from bronchitis and respiratory diseases Increased efficiency and stamina of the circulatory system Anti-tumor properties Liver protection and enhanced recovery from chemotherapy Sexual issues A general body adaptogen, resulting in more energy, strength, and staminaThe reasons behind some of these benefits are still not fully understood. Yet research has found some promising proof behind cordyceps claims. A few of the helpful constituents found are: Sterols – Alcohols of the steroid group. Believed to lower cholesterol, reduce the risk of heart disease, and possibly have some anti-tumor properties. Polysaccharides – Complex carbohydrates made up of chains of sugars. Known to stabilize blood pressure, have an effect on free radicals, and stimulate the immune system. Nucleosides – Organic molecules that are the converted into building blocks of the genetic material DNA and RNA. Nucleoside drugs are sometimes used to treat cancer. One of the most useful things thatCordyceps sinensis appears to do is the simple act of oxygenation. The fungus dilates the airways in the lungs, resulting in more oxygen to the blood. Thus more oxygen reaches every cell of the body, resulting in better cell function and greater energy levels. Cordyceps is used therapeutically for asthma, bronchitis, chemoprotection, exerciseperformance, hepatitis B, hepatic cirrhosis, hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol), as animmunosuppressive agent, and in chronic renal failure. The fungus became popular in 1993 when two female Chinese athletes, who admitted using cordyceps supplements, beat the world records in the track and field competition at the Stuttgart World Championships for the 1,500-, 3,000-, and 10,000-meter runs. The women were drug tested for any banned substances such as steroids and were negative. Their coach attributed the performance to the cordyceps supplementation. POTENTIAL HEALTH BENEFITS OF CORDYCEPS Hepatitis B: Cordyceps may stimulate the immune system and improve serum gamma globulin levels in hepatitis B patients. Currently, there is insufficient evidence to recommend for or against the use of cordyceps for chronic hepatitis B. However, the results are promising. Additional study of cordyceps and current hepatitis treatments is needed. Hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol): Cordyceps may lower total cholesterol andtriglyceride levels, although these changes may not be permanent or long lasting. Longer studies with follow up are needed to determine the long-term effects of cordyceps on hyperlipidemia. Anti-aging: Cordyceps may improve various symptoms related to aging. However, higher quality studies testing specific symptoms of aging are needed before the effects of cordyceps can be described. Currently, there is insufficient evidence to recommend for or against the use of cordyceps for anti-aging. Asthma: Cordyceps may reduce some asthma symptoms. Additional studies are needed to make a firm recommendation. Bronchitis: There is insufficient evidence from controlled clinical trials to recommend for or against the use of cordyceps for bronchitis. Most studies using cordyceps have found improved symptoms with cordyceps more than the control drugs. Although results are promising, more studies should be performed before a firm recommendation can be made. Chemoprotective: There is insufficient evidence to recommend for or against the use of cordyceps as a chemoprotective agent in aminoglycoside toxicity. However, the results are promising. Coffee has so many proven health benefits it's hard to list them all. That's why this video will cover the benefits of black coffee, risks, and health facts behind it. Did you know that over 400 billion cups of black coffee are consumed every year? Coffee, also known around my house as liquid gold, is the second most traded commodity in the world, only behind oil. I’m going to show you the benefits of black coffee, and the advantages of having a daily cup of joe. I will also finish with some short FAQs about the best times to drink coffee, how much per day is ok, and how much is too much. When people say coffee is bad for you, they often point to a few things… Insomnia. Dehydration & Adrenal fatigue Insomnia is usually a result of drinking coffee too early. Since effects can last up to 10 hours after drinking, simply stop drinking coffee before noon and you should be fine Dehydration – Yes coffee is a natural diuretic, but this problem is cured by drinking more water. Which you should be doing anyway… And Adrenal fatigue – This is not even a real medical condition. Anyone spouting this sort of nonsense doesn’t deserve your time or attention. Here are the proven benefits of drinking coffee backed by scientific studies 1. Coffee can help you burn fat Black coffee has been shown to boost metabolism by up to 11% and dramatically increase fat-burning potential.  Other studies have even shown that the rate of fat being burned while drinking caffeine can improve by 10% in obese individuals and by 29% in lean individuals.   2. Coffee helps you exercise better Black coffee has been proven to be one of the most effective supplements ever for improving exercise output. Drinking coffee causes a spike in adrenaline and causes an increase in exercise performance by around 11-12%.   3. Your heart seems to like it Drinking up to 2 cups of coffee per day can reduce the risk of heart failure by 11%. 4. Coffee can make you smarter It enhances the firing of neurons in the brain and has been shown to improve various brain functions including mood, energy levels, reaction time, memory, and general cognitive function. 5. Coffee contains an incredible amount of antioxidants These antioxidants help fight free radicals in the body, and scientists have identified approximately 1,000 different antioxidants in the coffee bean alone. 6. Coffee drinkers have a lower risk of cancer Astonishingly, black coffee has actually shown to lower the chances of getting liver cancer by up to 40%! Also, a study with over 400,000 members showed that people who consumed coffee had a lowered risk of rectal cancer by 15%. 7. Coffee contains essential nutrients the body loves One cup of coffee contains nutrients like riboflavin, potassium, magnesium, and others. While the volume of the nutrients it contains will not blow you away, if you drink 3 cups like the average American adult, you will be getting in a steady source of vital nutrients for your body (study). Just another of the many black coffee benefits! 8. Coffee can help fight depression Most people are unaware of the fact that over 17.5 million people (just in America alone) suffer from some form of depression, and it’s growing every year. Drinking coffee has been shown to lower the risk of developing depression by 20% for women. It has also been shown that those who drink 4 cups a day are 53% less likely to commit suicide than those who don’t. How much per day is ok? A short rule of thumb is 2 cups a day is fine, 3 cups a day is good, and 4 cups a day should be the absolute max. Oh, finally, drink your coffee black. Most of the specialty drinks at coffee shops are calorie nightmares and are basically glorified milkshakes. Drinking it coffee black takes some time to get used to, but just like an acquired taste to wine, it gets better with time. Hope you enjoy this presentation of the advantages of coffee and the black coffee benefits that are provided. ♂ Drugs That Cause Erectile Dysfunction & Lower Your Libido

03:53
My favorite, scientifically proven solution for quickly boosting your testosterone levels, increasing your sex drive and reversing erectile dysfunction, naturally. ►►http://drsam.co/yt/BoostLibido How my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs. An all natural alternative to statin drugs. ► http://drsam.co/yt/NoMoreStatins =============================================== Drugs That Cause Erectile Dysfunction & Lower Your Libido - Cholesterol Lowering Statins =============================================== As a man ages, his youthful hormones such as testosterone, slowly decline which causes many men a decrease in sex drive and can eventually lead to erectile dysfunction. Unfortunately, modern day lifestyle, the foods we eat, the extra stress, the radiation from electronic gadgets and so forth, is making this situation happen a lot sooner and it’s much worse than it needs to be or should be. Sadly, most people don’t realize that many of the medications and drugs - prescribed or even over the counter - can ALSO cause libido and erectile problems. And that’s what I’ll be discussing today, in addition to natural solutions and alternatives. Today’s question is from Daniel and he asks: “A few months ago I started taking a statin drug to lower my cholesterol. However, I’ve noticed I started having erectile problems. Things don’t seem to work as well. In fact, I’m just not in the “mood” or have the drive for sex like I used to. Do you think the statin drug is the cause?” Hi Daniel. To answer your question - YES! In fact, it’s been clinically shown that statin cholesterol lowering drugs do in fact, cause erection problems and impotence.1 And this is because statin drugs lower cholesterol by blocking the enzyme (HMG-CoA reductase) in your liver, that is responsible for making cholesterol. Unfortunately, cholesterol is required to make your “sex hormones” in both men and women, such as testosterone, estrogens, etc. And these hormones, especially testosterone, is required for your sex drive, libido, erections and an orgasm. In fact, in addition to erectile problems, both men and women taking statin drugs, report having difficulty reaching an orgasm.2 Another common side-effect with statin drugs is depression. And let’s be honest, when you’re not feeling happy or excited, then you’re not feeling “sexual” and you just don’t care or have the DESIRE to have sex, right?... One thing I’d like to point out on the OPPOSITE side of this story and that’s having very high cholesterol can ALSO cause erectile dysfunction. This is because of plaque build-up in your arteries, leading to poor blood flow and circulation. So your goal is to have healthy cholesterol levels - not too high or low. You want to do it naturally, without the use of drugs such as statins. The truth is, 98% of people do NOT need statin drugs to lower cholesterol. I know this because I dealt with this problem back in 1998 with both my parents. You can easily do it naturally. A healthy diet, regular exercise program and more importantly, the specific use of clinically proven herbs can dramatically lower your cholesterol naturally, while ALSO improving your sex drive and libido. In fact, under this video I’ve got a couple of links to other articles and videos about these two topics. How to Treat and Bring Down High Blood Sugar Levels

03:58
Are your blood sugar levels high? Are your eating habits healthy? What about your weight? Is it average or above average? Did you know that if you’re overweight, and you have unhealthy eating habits, you could be one of the victims of diabetes? Diabetes is a disease that affects almost 400 million people in all the world, slightly more than 5% of the population. Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of the disease, and is linked to weight gain and bad eating habits. Fortunately, diabetes is not a silent threat. Learn more about the symptoms of diabetes to know if you are in this situation: Extreme thirst Extreme hunger Fatigue Wounds may take longer to heal Blurry vision Low Immunity Diabetes is a disease that springs from a sedentary lifestyle, paired with poor eating habits and lack of frequent exercise. Depressed people who spend large amounts of time sleeping are also more likely to suffer from this disease. The best protection against diabetes are healthy eating habits. Choose to eat less sugar and carbohydrates. Here are some recipes that can help improve your condition: Onion and Lemon Broth Squeeze the juice of a grated onion through a thin cloth. Mix that juice with the juice of one lemon. Drink this twice a day. Test your blood sugar and cholesterol levels regularly to see how you’re doing. Raw Garlic and in Pills Garlic has many and varied benefits, and is used to treat, fight, and prevent several diseases. Recent studies have shown that garlic can increase insulin production, a hormone that turns glucose into energy and controls type 2 diabetes. Furthermore, consuming large quantities of raw garlic reduces blood sugar levels. How to use Garlic In order to benefit from garlic, you need to eat raw garlic regularly. Remember that garlic, after it has been warmed up, loses most of its beneficial properties. If the taste keeps you from being able to eat it, you can take garlic pills or garlic oil. You should consume from 500 milligrams to 1000 milligrams of garlic a day, which adds up to 1 or 2 fresh, raw garlic cloves. Another alternative would be drinking “garlic water”. Pour 200 milliliters of water in a cup and add one minced clove of garlic. Let it sit so that the garlic's properties can be absorbed into the water, and drink it throughout the day. At the end of the day, throw the garlic away. Remember that if you eat too much garlic you may suffer from some digestive problems. These recipes are not recommended for people who are allergic to garlic, pregnant, or breastfeeding women, or children under the age of 4.
