Do I have a stomach ulcer?

02:13
Many people associate stomach ulcers with stress and spicy foods. While these things probably don't help, most stomach ulcers are caused by a bacteria called Helicobacter pylori or by overuse of certain medications like aspirin and ibuprofen. An ulcer is an open painful sore that can be found in the stomach or the first part of the small intestines, called the duodenum. The normal stomach produces acid which helps digest food and kills most swallowed bacteria, but when the protective gel layer of the stomach is disrupted by medications or Helicobacter pylori, an ulcer can result. So how do you know if you have an ulcer? Let's give Michael here some Helicobacter pylori and a few extra doses of ibuprofen to find out. So Michael, how do you feel? Not so good? It looks like you have burning pain in the middle upper part of your belly, nausea and vomiting, decreased appetite, weight loss, and even what appears to be blood in your vomit and bowel movements. You better see a doctor. I would be willing to bet that your doctor will give you a long acting antacid and check you for Helicobacter pylori infection. He may even send you to a specialist who can perform an endoscopy. This lovely procedure involves pushing a tubelike camera through your mouth and investigating the stomach wall up close and personal. But don't worry, you'll be asleep during the procedure. Helicobacter pylori infection can be cured with antibiotics. Most stomach ulcers require treatment with antacids for several months or longer. Oh, and by the way, Michael, you may want to stop drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, and drinking 4 cups of coffee per day. All of these things can make a stomach ulcer worse. So it looks like Michael is feeling better. That is good. Most stomach ulcers are easy to fix with medications, but complications can be serious. But don't take my word for it, talk to your doctor if you have any concerns. Michael K. Davis, MD The Impatient Doctor

Antibiotic Awareness: Head Cold or Sinusitis

02:11
Seattle Mama Doc shares how to tell the difference between bacteria or viral sinusitis, and at home treatments for viral sinusitis or head colds. Transcript: Sinusitis is caused by a virus or a common cold. That means most sinusitis, also known as a head cold, will get better without antibiotics. I'm Dr. Wendy Sue Swanson and in partnership with the Washington State Department of Health, I'm here today to talk to you about sinusitis. The most important information for you to remember is that most head colds or sinusitis do not need treatment with antibiotics. In fact, antibiotics can do more harm by killing off the good bacteria, and it can increase antibiotic resistance. How do you tell the difference between bacterial sinusitis and viral sinusitis or a head cold? Both viral and bacterial sinusitis start with symptoms of the common cold, such as low grade fever, nasal discharge, congestion, sneezing, and coughing. However, bacterial sinusitis is more likely when • symptoms of congestion, nasal discharge, and sinus pressure last for more than 10 days without improvement • worsen after having initially improved • severe from the onset, accompanied by a fever higher than 39 degrees Celsius or 102.2 Fahrenheit, and last for 3 or more days And that’s when it may require antibiotics. Viral sinusitis or a head cold may cause severe congestion, colored nasal discharge, and fever, but the fever usually does goes away after a couple of days, and congestion is usually improving by day 10. Most viral sinusitis or head colds can be treated at home without antibiotics. Home treatments for a head cold include taking it easy for a few days, nasal irrigation with saline or sterile water, drinking warm liquids, and taking acetaminophen or ibuprofen as needed for fever or pain. Even some mild bacterial sinusitis may improve without antibiotics. Thanks for listening to this information about sinusitis and avoid antibiotics whenever we can. I’m Dr. Wendy Sue Swanson in partnership with Washington State Department of Health.

New Cannabis Capsule Is So Effective That It’s Replacing Big Pharma Painkillers

New Cannabis Capsule Is So Effective That It’s Replacing Big Pharma Painkillers Please SUBSCRIBE : http://bit.ly/2e9Su11 While there is a growing interest in natural remedies and numerous medicines are now based on natural sources, Big Pharma neglects the dangerous side effects and is continually producing various kinds of drugs which are high in harmful chemicals. You have probably heard that cannabis can be significantly effective in the treatment of menstrual cramps, so the Foria Relief Company has invented a vaginal suppository which can replace Vicodin, Midol, and Ibuprofen, and is based on aromatic cocoa butter. This vaginal suppository has been cautiously created in order to enhance the abilities of cannabis to alleviate pain and relax the muscles, and at the same time, to prevent the psychotropic property (being high). All around the world, cannabis is commonly used in order to naturally relieve menstruation symptoms. The goal of the company is to use modern extracting procedures for potency and purity standardization, in order to create a safe experience which can be used by all women. They extract the flowers of cannabis which do not contain pesticides in order to use its active ingredients, and in a microbial- free process, combine them with exact doses- 60 mg of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 10 mg of cannabidiol (CBD). This is claimed to not make the user “high”. The vaginal suppository contains CBD and THC, the two active cannabinoid compounds. As soon as these are introduced in the body, they trigger the activation of particular cannabinoid receptors in the pelvic area. People who have used the Foria Relief report that it has helped them to greatly alleviate pain and discomfort during the menstrual cycle. The active compounds of cannabis directly affect the nerve endings in the uterus, cervix, ovaries and the muscles surrounding these areas. Namely, THC blocks the pain and sends enjoyable signals to the brain. On the other hand, CBD has a positive impact on the mechanisms that cause inflammation, reduces cramps and cause muscle relaxation. Apparently, the invention of this medicine is quite logical, as the majority of the cannabinoid receptors in the body are located in the area of the pelvic. Cannabis has numerous advantageous effects, as it can trigger the endocannabinoid system in the organism. A user of this medicine explained her own experience. She claimed that it has relaxed her clenched and cramped muscles, eliminated the pain felt in the midsection and depicted her feeling of the area below the waist to the thighs “as if floating in some other galaxy”. Even though women are continually using this medicine, it hasn’t yet been approved by the FDA. It is currently available in California only, but it is believed to expand along with the spread of Cannabis legalization. Furthermore, the company that created this medicine makes use of the curative properties of cannabis in further inventions and created the Foria Pleasure, which provides evidence of the aphrodisiac capacity of Cannabis, as it is a medicine depicted as a sensual enhancement oil. However, before you decide to use any suppositories, it is advisable to consult your doctor, even though all users of Foria Relief only confirm its amazing healing properties so far. =========================== Please SUBSCRIBE : http://bit.ly/2e9Su11

Flagyl Antibiotics for Anaerobic Infections

11:47
Flagyl drugs contain their active ingredient metronidazole, that is a sort of drug named an antibiotic. (NB. Metronidazole is also available without a brand name, ie as the generic medicine.) Metronidazole is used to heal bacterial infections caused by bacteria and other micro-organisms called protozoa. Metronidazole works by getting into bacterial and protozoal cellular material and interfering with personal genetic material (DNA). It damages the DNA and also keeps the bacteria and protozoa from developing new DNA. This ultimately results in metronidazole killing the micro-organisms, which clears up the infection. Metronidazole gets rid of a wide type of bacteria that are popular collectively as anaerobic microbes. This means that they do not need oxygen to build and multiply. Anaerobic bacteria can cause infections in cities of the body such as the bones, gut, pelvic cavity and gums. Metronidazole is used to treat these types of issues, as well as leg ulcers and pressure sores that are infected and anaerobic bacteria.

Antibiotic Body Damage Recovery (Levaquin Cipro Side Effects and How I Healed)

09:06
It is my opinion only, that the damage these antibiotics are causing to people's bodies may be partially or fully due to the drug's destruction of crucially important healthy forms of bacteria in the gut. This, along with leaky gut which I believe is epidemic, may cause both a fungal version of yeast called candida to breach the barrier in the gut, and give the immune system a particularly difficult time managing it, as well as oxalate to also permeate the entire body causing a potential double-whammy that if addressed, may reverse the condition. Lots to be pissed off about with this situation. But one biggie is in how people are being told this condition is permanent. Although I believe it can be difficult to reverse, I believe it is entirely possible if approached from the above theoretical standpoint. That is how I approached it, and have had tremendous results. See my programs as well as the free info over at http://MaintenanceMotions.com. If you have some organic expeller-pressed coconut oil...or oil of your choice according to options available via Ayurvedic tradition...I'd give oil pulling a try, sticking with it for a solid few months. I have found it to be incredibly effective for joint/tendon issues, with dietary change, gut health with probiotics, and candida management to offer profound improvements. I need to consistently maintain the effort, but it's a part of my lifestyle regardless. Then I added some high quality ubiquinol to assist with mitochondrial damage, and energy production. http://FacelessFatloss.com My Over 40 program: http://Over40andRipped.com And Facebook: http://facebook.com/tim.ripped Love, Happiness, Health and Peace.........Tim .

Gluten Free Diet Fails & Hidden Toxins in GF Foods - Peter Osborne, DC

57:02
01:11 The Link between Grain Consumption and Pain: Grain consumption induces an inflammatory state that Dr. Osborn calls “grainflamation”. For those of us with gluten sensitivity, we have an inflammatory response as our body rejects grains. People with allergies to mold may also react. Grains are rich in mold and mycotoxins; toxins created by mold which forms during the bulk storage of grains. Another trigger for inflammation from grains may be the pesticides which are still in/on the grain. One of the chemicals, atrazine, works like an estrogen. In amphibians, the males become females. Glyphosate is a severe toxin on the gut, with a number of effects that contribute to the inflammatory cascade. There is more to grainflammation than gluten. 05:16 Gluten is in More Than Just Wheat: The protein called alpha gliadin, found in wheat, barley and rye, was discovered in 1952 and studied on 10 people, where it was found to be the trigger for celiac disease. Since then, we have discovered over a thousand forms of gluten. Corn and rice, in addition to other grains, have their own family of gluten and you may be reacting to them. Grains are not gluten free. Gluten free grain food products are one of the most concentrated sources of mycotoxins in the American diet. 14:05 Hidden Sources of Gluten: Sometimes meat is injected with something that mimics gluten called microbial transglutaminase. Same is done with cheese and dairy. This may explain why many with gluten sensitivity, are also sensitive to dairy. Sometimes there is gluten contamination during processing or cooking. 20:51 Stripping Away Protective Gut Barriers: In addition, antibiotics have been in use for the past 50 years and its use is on the rise. There are 5 barriers that protect our gut from developing a leak and an autoimmune process. A leak of the gut allows inflammation to travel to the rest of our body. One of those barriers is the microbiome, the bacteria in our gut. Antibiotics and certain classes of blood pressure medication induce leaky gut. Aspirin, Ibuprofen and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs strip away one of the other gut barriers, the mucosa that lines the G.I. tract. Other drugs affect gut motility. 38:41 Grain-Besity Cycle: Grain can induce hormonal changes. Your body’s response to inflammation is to create more cortisol. With chronic long term inflammation, it can lead to adrenal burnout. Adrenal failure or burnout leads to the inability to adapt or cope with inflammation and it gets out of control. Our adrenals are our natural inflammatory control system. Excessive insulin production is a side effect of this, causing amplified fat storage. We end up marbleizing our muscle tissue, which creates a fatty muscle, which slows our metabolism. Muscle sets the metabolic rate. Excess weight increases pressure on joints, thus further limiting physical activity and increasing pain.

#12- Aspirin, Ibuprofen & Acetaminophen are the same Chemicals used for Inactivated Vaccines!

07:52
Aspirin, Ibuprofen, & Acetaminophen are Coal Tar Derivatives, and so are the chemicals used to make vaccines: Phenol comes from Creosote and Formaldehyde comes from Methane and Synthesis Gas, making them extremely toxin compounds related to plastics and butane that do not belong in the human body. These synthetic compounds have powerful effects on the blood flow and the immune system by blocking its reaction to stop natural inflammation. They work as painkillers because they block nerve function so pain cannot be felt, which destroys nerve function both in the CNS and the peripheral nervous system. Acetaminophen is the leading cause of liver failure and hospitalizations. FORMALDEHYDE = a) It’s used to ‘Cross-Link’ proteins to kill bacteria (strep, HIB) for their “In-activated” vaccines, and they use small amounts as a preservative in them. PHENOL = a) It’s used to ‘Blow Up’ host cells to release virus grown inside them = Monkey fetus for polio, Chicken embryo for measles & mumps, and Human fetal cells for HepA. b) It’s used 'Blow up' host cells to release virus particles genetically engineered into them = Yeast cells for HepB & HPV, and Caterpillar ovary cells for HPV & flu. Phenol blocks sensory nerves, blocks motor function, and even Emotional Blocks, so that nothing is interesting nor exciting! = Less than 5% phenol, damages Axons causing Sensory Block. Small amounts of Phenol block nerve sensations, stopping the ability to feel (pain). Over 5% phenol, demyelinates Axons causing Motor Block, leading to death. Larger amounts of Phenol cause Motor Block and stop the heart, hence it’s usage in executions. https://www.youtube.com/user/Alleyesun https://www.trackingvaccinations.com

How to treat sinusitis

00:41
Sinusitis is swelling of the sinuses, usually caused by an infection. It’s common and usually clears up on its own within 2 to 3 weeks. In some cases it lasts a long time. You can often treat mild sinusitis without seeing your GP. To relieve sinus pain, take painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen. Don’t give aspirin to children under 16. You can also relieve sinus pain by: 1.soaking a clean flannel in warm water 2.holding it against your forehead and cheeks for 5 to 10 minutes 3.repeating this 3 or 4 times a day For more information visit https://beta.nhs.uk/conditions/sinusitis

RESTRICTIONS: Broadcast: NO USE JAPAN, NO USE TAIWAN Digital: NO USE JAPAN, NO USE TAIWAN The Japanese health ministry has approved a groundbreaking new drug that can get rid of the flu in just one day. Nikkei reports that Osaka-based pharmaceutical company Shionogi has been cleared to manufacture and market its new drug Xofluza, which could rival Tamiflu, made by Swiss drugmaker Roche. The influenza virus causes an infection in the respiratory tract when it is transmitted. The virus hijacks the cells to make copies of itself, which then burst forth and infect other cells. Antivirals like Tamiflu are taken in multiple doses over several days, and stop the virus by binding to a coating on its surface to inhibit its ability to escape an infected cell. The new drug Xofluza requires a single pill, and suppresses virus replication by targeting an enzyme. During trials, the drug was shown to eliminate the flu virus in 24 hours, compared to three days using Tamiflu. Xofluza was approved in just four months under Japan's fast-track drug review system, and is set to go on sale once a price is determined by the government. RUNDOWN SHOWS: 1. Eat Dirt with Dr. Josh Axe - Promo

01:03
What Hippocrates knew 2000 years ago, we're only just discovering: Our gut is responsible for a lot more than processing the food we eat! With the surface area of a football field, our digestive tract is a vital immune barrier, protecting us from disease and contamination. By expelling and killing foreign invaders, it accounts for 70% of our immune system. Leaky gut occurs when the tight junctions that seal the intestinal tract malfunction. These junctions control which nutrients and nourishment passes into the blood stream. As food is digested and moved out of the body, a healthy digestive tract prevents toxins, microbes and undigested food particles from seeping out. When the junctions break down, all kinds of particles contaminate the bloodstream that should have never gotten through. The immune system responds to the particles as if they were foreign invaders. Eventually the result is chronic inflammation, which leads to a variety of problems, such as allergies, autoimmune disease, eczema, psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis, weight gain, and diabetes. Studies in respected medical journals, like The Lancet, The British Medical Journal and the International Journal of Gastroenterology have found that leaky gut causes several autoimmune diseases and many other health issues, including fatigue, arthritis, acne, depression and food allergies. Some of our "best ideas" have backfired and are actually tearing our guts apart and destroying our health: Hybrid grain that grows fast but is nearly indigestible Refined sugar that creates insulin resistance; Antibiotics that kill even the friendly bacteria we need; Pesticides that deplete the soil until vegetables lose 85% of their nutrients. Our lifestyle does the rest. Almost everyone has swallowed ibuprofen for a headache, consumed processed foods, failed to eat enough fiber, taken an antibiotic, or experienced chronic stress. All of these undermine the integrity of the gut. Leaky gut is a hot topic in health communities these days, but no one has identified the five most common Gut Types and designed a specific program to heal each gut type - until now. Eat Dirt will identify the specific gut types of leaky gut syndrome. Once viewers identify their own Gut Type, they can heal their gut more quickly, by following a plan that is designed specifically for them.

Beat Toothache Pain With These 5 Simple Home Remedies

04:01
Susana Home Remedies Beat Toothache Pain With These 5 Simple Home Remedies A toothache is a pain near your teeth. Sometimes the cause is dental, like cavities or gum disease. In other cases, the pain might be referred to the teeth but may stem from a non-dental cause. Either way, toothache pain is very uncomfortable, especially for children. If you or your child have a toothache, it’s time to make an appointment with your dentist as soon as possible. In the meantime, however, you’ll need to control the pain and discomfort. Here are some of your best options for controlling toothache pain. What Actually Causes a Toothache? Toothaches have several differential diagnoses, some of which are problems with the teeth and gums, and others which are referred as pain from non-dental causes. Some of the most common underlying causes of tooth pain include: Inflammation of the pulp, the dental tissue beneath the enamel, due to ongoing tooth decay. Dentin hypersensitivity, which occurs when the enamel has eroded to expose the dentin beneath it. Apical periodontitis, an inflammation of the periodontal ligament and alveolar bone. Dental abscesses, collections of pus that can lead to sepsis if left untreated. Alveolar osteitis, or “dry socket,” after tooth extraction. Temporomandibular disorder. Migraines. Myofascial pain. Angina pectoris, which refers pain to the lower jaw. These are just a few of the most common causes of toothaches. Your dentist will be able to accurately diagnose the issue. If it turns out it’s not your teeth or gums, you may need to see a different medical specialist depending on the cause of your pain. Home Remedies for Toothache Pain When you have a toothache, you may need to find ways to control the pain so that you can continue with everyday life until your upcoming dental appointment. Here are some of the best remedies for tooth pain. They cannot treat the underlying problem, but they can reduce the amount of discomfort that you experience. Tylenol, NSAIDs, or other OTC medications. Anti-inflammatories can come in handy for tooth pain. Taking an NSAID like ibuprofen or naproxen, or taking acetaminophen (Tylenol), can help reduce the pain. Saltwater. Many people report that toothache pain subsides if they swish saltwater around in their mouths. Salt has a long history of use as an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial treatment. When you swish saltwater in your mouth, it lowers the pH temporarily, creating an alkaline environment that can kill bacteria. Unlike Listerine and other mouthwashes, it won’t irritate your mucous membranes. Hydrogen peroxide. Like saltwater, hydrogen peroxide can be used as a mouth rinse. It helps kill bacteria and cleans your gums, and may also help reduce toothache pain. Household spices and other kitchen ingredients. Many common kitchen ingredients purportedly reduce pain, although it’s not always clear what’s an old wives’ tale and what actually works. Vanilla and other flavor extracts can be dabbed on the affected area. They’re generally alcohol-based and can have a numbing effect. Garlic may also be helpful, as it has antimicrobial effects. This is also true of other Allium species, like red or white onions and leeks. Some people also like peppermint tea. The warmth can soothe a toothache, and the plant has mild anti-inflammatory properties that may be of modest benefit. https://youtu.be/zFVvX1OFb4o

What Are The Causes Of Leaky Gut Syndrome?

06:06
Learn what are the common and not so common causes of leaky gut syndrome. Why you got leaky gut at first place? Leaky gut syndrome is a condition of the western developed nations. It's not something that people get in the underdeveloped countries, and I'll expand on that in a minute. That happens for a multitude of reasons. Leaky gut is altered intestinal permeability, and it usually means that the person has altered their lifestyle far away from nature. People who eat and live according to the natural laws who fresh wholesome foods, who drink lots of fresh water, who get plenty of sleep, these sorts of people don't tend to have leaky gut syndrome. The relaxed people. People who don't push themselves too hard. But we don't live like that in the western world. We tend to be really time poor these days. What I'm finding after being in practice now for nearly 30 years is that more and more I'm seeing people with chronic digestive problems, and I think that's because people now tend to stay up too late at night. They're not getting enough rest. They tend to be too dependent on these electronic toys and gadgets all around them. They tend to not chew food properly. They tend to drink alcohol and caffeine, and a lot of people now are bypassing good quality foods, tending to eat more of a processed kind of a food. These sorts of things, in particularly, are pushing people into leaky gut syndrome. The primary cause in the top 5 or the top 10 would certainly be alcohol of any sort. People who drink alcohol on a regular basis are invariably going to have leaky gut syndrome. I've got no doubt in my mind, and it's just one of my clinical observations now. If you don't drink any alcohol at all, you're much less inclined to have leaky gut. It's not just the one thing that will push a person into leaky gut. It's a combination of multiple factors in their diet and lifestyle that will contribute to this functional complaint. Antibiotics, alcohol, stress, not chewing food properly, any kind of medication on a regular basis. It could be something like Advil or ibuprofen. It could be paracetamol or Tylenol. It could be anti-depressants, birth control pills. It could be a statin drug. It could be a blood pressure pill. Any kind of medication from the doctor you're taking, whether it's prescribed or over the counter, even some dietary supplements from your naturopath can contribute to leaky gut syndrome. Some patients I see take up to 50, 60 or even 80 supplements in one day. It's crazy, but true. If you're one of these people who is buying supplements from iHerb and from Amazon and all over the place and you're going to see two chiropractors and two naturopaths and two doctors and two psychiatrists, and you're seeing all these people and everyone is giving you stuff, you're taking all that and you're still not getting better, you've probably got leaky gut syndrome. Take heed. Don't take things unless you get expert advice regarding that supplement. A really big overlooked cause is antibiotics in the food chain. If you're eating meat or poultry, it could contain medications like a low dose antibiotic. We know low dose long term is as bad as high dose short term. So you want to check with your supplier if the kind of meat you're eating has got any kind of antibiotic in it. And if you're unsure, just do a Google check on it yourself. You might be quite surprised what you'll find. Certified, biodynamic, or free range are certified to be free from these sorts of drugs is certainly what you want to be looking at for food. That's why I prefer to eat ocean caught fish because they don't usually inject fish with antibiotics. Chewing food. A lot of people don't chew food properly. They chew too quickly, so they don't activate the parasympathetic nervous system. Chewing food really quick is a sympathetic response, a stress response, and this will mean that you're not going to break food down to small particle size. It will also mean that if you have got leaky gut, which you probably have, you'll put larger particles into the small bowel that could potentially permeate and challenge your immune system. Chewing food down as far as you can, really breaking it down, will allow your digestive organs to make a nice soupy mix out of it, and that's going to be easy to break down and to absorb. That's a big reason why many people end up developing leaky gut, improper chewing of foods, or eating too hurried. Drinking alcohol with meals is insanity. That's going to certainly have a contributing factor with leaky gut. Natural ways to relieve stomach pain Who doesn’t get stomach problems once in a while? There are dozens of reasons why you might get tummy aches, such as gastritis, acid reflux, lactose intolerance, stress, etc. Most of them aren’t serious and pass quickly. There’s no reason to turn to your doctor and get a prescription every time you have a little discomfort in your belly. Summary 1. Cayenne pepper Eating cayenne pepper can help you with your tummy problems in several ways. It’s a natural anesthetic and can reduce your pain and discomfort. Also, it can actually reduce acidity, fight against a peptic ulcer, and kill certain types of bacteria. Besides, it helps in digesting food more efficiently. Be mindful that you should combine it with other food when consuming it. 2. Yoga Many yoga poses can help you physically indigestion and increase peristalsis, the movement of food through your intestines. Also, it reduces the stress that can often cause stomach troubles, like Irritable Bowel Syndrome. For example, “Apanasana” or knees hugged to chest pose can help relieve you from bloating and gas pain. And spinal twist pose will soothe and tone your abdomen. 3. Ginger Ginger has an amazing influence on our stomach health. It reduces inflammation just like aspirin, ibuprofen, or other NSAIDs. It promotes blood circulation which aids in better digestion. It helps food flow smoothly through the digestive tract which allows us to absorb more nutrients. It prevents gas and relaxes the muscles of the intestinal tract, which gives us relief from stomach pain. 4. Mustard Though it sounds a bit unbelievable, eating a tablespoon of mustard with your meal every day can be a really great addition to your diet. It has some strong anti-inflammatory and antacid effects which can reduce or even heal your stomach pains. 5. Peppermint Peppermint is the first line of defense for an upset stomach. Menthol is a very strong antispasmodic that helps to calm down our bellies. It can smooth almost every complaint the digestive system might throw at us: heartburn, indigestion, cramping, nausea, gas, and even irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). 6. Rice Along with potatoes, oats, and other starchy foods, rice helps to coat the stomach, ease digestion, and it has a soothing effect. Such foods don’t stay long in the stomach and don’t stimulate acid reflux. 7. Heat A warm compress applied to your stomach area might relax your muscles and ease the pain, tension, and cramps. You can use a bottle filled with hot water, a heated electric blanket, or even microwave a sock full of rice. Place it over your stomach for several minutes to feel relief. 8. Club soda The sodium bicarbonate in soda water works in 2 ways on indigestion. It helps neutralize stomach acid which is a way to treat heartburn. And second, the carbon dioxide gas encourages burping, which can help relieve pressure and pain in the stomach. 9. Essential oils This remedy can beat many of the causes that lead to stomach aches like gas, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, and even menstrual cramps. Peppermint, ginger, pepper basil, oregano, fennel, coconut, argan and other oils can ease your stomach pain and improve digestion. Just apply a few drops on your belly (or bellybutton) and massage gently. Essential oils may also enhance your mood. 10. Burnt toast Eating burnt toast can help you to control nausea after a big night out and ease stomach pains. The carbon in its char absorbs toxins and acts as a filter by preventing some microorganisms from passing through the gut. What do you think about these methods to get rid of stomach pain? How Do You Get Candida?

04:32
Thanks for checking out this video. How do I get Candida is the question today? How do I develop a yeast infection? Getting Candida or developing a yeast infection, these are questions that people sometimes say to me. How does it come about? Candida albicans is a normally occurring yeast. It’s an organism that many people have in their digestive system, and it’s estimated that up to 20 percent of women have it in their vaginal area. Not all women have it, though many women don’t have Candida, so it’s false to assume that every person has Candida as a species that normally cohabitates with the beneficial and not so beneficial bacterial. What we’re talking about, I assume, is how do I get a Candida infection? When you get a Candida infection it’s usually because you broke the rules. You did something wrong and you allowed this yeast basically to take over and thrive in your body. It’s the same as saying how did I get a bacterial infection? You got a bacterial infection because bugs came into your system and they’re all around us, we can’t avoid bugs. But what happened is our susceptibility increased and our resistance dropped right down. We became more susceptible to an infection. How we increase susceptibility is by basically doing things like staying up late at night, eating the wrong kind of food, stressing out too much, taking or relying on pharmaceutical drugs routinely like antibiotics, the oral contraceptive pill, taking various medications; it could even be Tylenol or paracetamol. It could be ibuprofen or Advil; I think they call it in America. Taking drugs on a regular basis will weaken and attack the immune system through weakening and destroying digestive function. Any kind of drug whether it’s recreational or pharmaceutical is not a good idea for you to be on, particularly on a recurring way. One of the most common causes of Candida infection is alcohol consumption, regular consumption of alcohol. Regular consumption of alcohol and antibiotics to me are two of the leading causes of a Candida yeast infection. But there are as many causes of Candida as there are cases of Candida I see. There are literally hundreds of causes. Many patients we see today have got multiple stresses. The word digital detox has been bantered around quite a lot on the internet lately. I read the other day that a lot of people check Facebook a minimum of 14 times per day. That’s ridiculous. Many patients I see when we talk about cell phone use, they will check their cell phone hourly. They’re always looking at their mobile devices, iPads, cell phones, so these things are stresses in their own right. Many people stay up too late at night. It’s estimated now up to 30 percent of people in the western developed nations have got some kind of sleeping problem, so essentially 3 out of 10 people can’t sleep properly or have disturbed sleep now. These are the things that account for a Candida infection. It’s the lifestyles that aren’t really beneficial for us anymore. We’re living in such a highly stressed and polluted environment. You can read a lot more on yeastinfection.org regarding yeast infection. And I’d also like to remind you to please do my Candida survey if you go to CandidaCrusher.com. It’s the world’s best online survey by a long shot. It cost us a lot of time and money to develop this survey, and I believe it’s one of the best around. You’ll be able to determine with accuracy whether you’ve got a mild, moderate or severe yeast infection, and then what steps to take to really counter this infection because Candida can ruin your life. It can destroy your life. I spent a big part of my career helping people with Candida infections, and I’ve certainly seen a lot of people who’ve been out there 5, 10, 20, even 30, 40 years plus who have had destroyed lives through a yeast infection. I could care less if people believe that Candida exists or not. I deal with it on a daily basis in my clinic, and I’ve certainly seen many people with this infection return back to a normal life again as well. I hope that answers your question to a degree on the Candida infection, what causes a Candida infection. How do I get Candida? You don’t get Candida. You develop the infection through some kind of imbalance. Thanks for tuning in.

Food Can Be Medicine – These Are The Best 20 Natural Painkillers And They Are In The Kitchen! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQGT7ljY2rIzpai4tooZ5aQ Here we all know what is needed for good health and mental balance. This  means eating whole grains, no sodas and sugars, and more workouts daily. Sadly, many people eat fast food more and more. Even markets are loaded with semi-done and packed foods that have no nutritional value. Also, we all eat the same foods without variety, mainly corn, soy, rice and wheat. It is time we change this and eat medicinal foods. Food can be a medicine and health all at once, so we must choose wisely. HERE IS THE LIST: MUSCLE PAIN AND GINGER A Danish study published that ginger every day can reduce muscle and joint pain, stiffness and swelling for even 63%. This is due to gingerols that stop pain hormones. Get a tsp dry ginger or 2 every day. TOOTH PAIN AND CLOVES UCLA experts say chewing a clove can ease the gum and tooth pains In a few hours. This has eugenol and is a great anesthetic. Add ¼ tsp cloves ground in a meal and regulate the blood sugar, lower cholesterol and more. HEARTBURN AND ACV Sip 1 tbsp ACV and 8 oz water before a meal all day long. The heartburn will be gone in 24 hours. MD Joseph Brasco, gastro expert at Colon and Digestive Diseases Center of Huntsville, AL said that ACV has malic and tartaric acids, both amazing for digestion and faster breakdown of fats and proteins in the gut, this happens before the food passes the esophagus, making the pain. EAR PAIN AND GARLIC For curing this, put 2 drops warm garlic oil in the ear that hurts. To do so, do this for 5 days, every day. Experts of the New Mexico University said this is better than drugs. The active items are sulfur and selenium and they kill pain and bacteria. To make garlic oil, simmer 3 cloves and ½ tbsp. olive oil for 2 min. refrigerate for 2 weeks. HEADACHE AND JOINT PAIN WITH CHERRIES Headache, arthritis and gout are the most common. To cure them, eat cherries, a bowl daily. Strep Throat: Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Pictures

07:48
Strep Throat: Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Pictures What is strep throat? Strep throat is a bacterial infection that causes inflammation and pain in the throat. This common condition is caused by group A Streptococcus bacteria. Strep throat can affect children and adults of all ages. However, it’s especially common in children between the ages of 5 and 15. Sneezing and coughing can spread the infection from one person to another. Pictures of strep throat Symptoms of strep throat The severity of strep throat can vary from person-to-person. Some people experience mild symptoms like a sore throat, whereas other people have more severe symptoms including fever and difficulty swallowing. The common symptoms of strep throat include: a sudden fever, especially if it’s 101˚F or higher a sore, red throat with white patches a headache chills a loss of appetite swollen lymph nodes in the neck trouble swallowing The symptoms of strep throat typically develop within five days of exposure to the bacteria. When to see your doctor Not all sore throats are a result of a strep infection. Other illnesses can cause a sore throat, too. This includes: the common cold a sinus infection postnasal drip acid reflux Sore throats caused by other medical conditions usually improve on their own with or without treatment in a few days. Call your doctor if you experience: a sore throat that lasts longer than two days a sore throat with white patches dark, red splotches or spots on the tonsils or the top of the mouth a sore throat with a fine, sandpaper-like pink rash on the skin difficulty breathing difficulty swallowing Finding a doctor for strep throat Looking for doctors with the most experience treating strep throat? Use the doctor search tool below, powered by our partner Amino. You can find the most experienced doctors, filtered by your insurance, location, and other preferences. Amino can also help book your appointment for free. Healthline Partner Solutions Get Answers from a Doctor in Minutes, Anytime Have medical questions? Connect with a board-certified, experienced doctor online or by phone. Pediatricians and other specialists available 24/7. Diagnosing strep throat If you complain of a persistent sore throat, your doctor will examine your throat and check for signs of inflammation. Your doctor may also check your neck for swollen lymph nodes and ask about other symptoms. If your doctor suspects you have strep throat, they may do a rapid strep test in the office. This test determines whether your sore throat is caused by a strep infection or another type of bacteria or germ. Your doctor swabs the back of your throat with a long cotton swab, collecting a sample. Your doctor will then send the sample to the lab to look for signs of bacteria. Results are available in about five minutes. If your rapid strep test is negative but your doctor thinks that you have strep throat, they can send your sample to an outside lab for additional testing. These results are available within a few days. Treating strep throat Antibiotics If you’re diagnosed with strep throat, your doctor will prescribe an antibiotic to treat the infection. These medications inhibit the spread of bacteria and infections. Several types of antibiotics are available. However, penicillin and amoxicillin are the most common medications given for a strep infection. It’s important that you finish your antibiotic treatment course to kill the infection completely. Some people stop taking their medication when symptoms improve, which can trigger a relapse. If this happens, the symptoms can return. At-home care In addition to antibiotics, there are at-home treatments to improve the symptoms of strep throat. These remedies include: drinking warm liquids, such as lemon water and tea drinking cold liquids to help numb the throat turning on a cool-mist humidifier taking over-the-counter pain relievers, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen sucking on throat lozenges adding 1/2 teaspoon of salt to 1 cup of water and gargling the mixture Shop for cool-mist humidifiers. Outlook and potential complications of strep throat If strep throat is treated, the symptoms will improve within one week. But if it’s left untreated, strep throat can cause serious complications. These complications include: ear infection sinusitis rheumatic fever, which is an inflammatory disease that affects the joints, the heart, and the skin poststreptococcal glomerulonephritis, which is an inflammation of the kidneys mastoiditis, which is an infection of the mastoid bone in the skull scarlet fever, which occurs when toxins created by the strep infection cause a scarlet-colored rash to develop on different parts of the body guttate psoriasis, which is a condition that causes small, red teardrop-shaped spots to appear on the body

What Is A Duodenal Ulcer?

03:53
What Is A Duodenal Ulcer A duodenal ulcer is one of several kinds of ulcers that affect the area popularly known as the "stomach" even though, technically speaking, the duodenum is actually the beginning of the small intestine. A gastric ulcer, on the other hand, is an ulcer that forms in the lining of the stomach itself. Duodenal ulcers vary in size. Small ulcers may not present any symptoms, but a large one can cause internal bleeding (known as a bleeding ulcer). In severe cases, an ulcer may cause a gastric outlet obstruction, peritonitis (an inflammation of the tissue that lines the abdominal wall, and even a perforation of the stomach and intestines. Typically, one person in ten in the United States will experience a stomach ulcer during their lifetime. What causes a duodenal ulcer? Many people believe stress and poor diet are the primary causes of stomach ulcers. But in recent years, medical science has identified a bacteria called Helicobacter pylori, or H. pylori, as the most common factor in duodenal ulcer occurrence. However, presence of the bacteria does not cause an ulcer in every case. Certain medications, especially overuse of aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), may also contribute to duodenal ulcer formation. The following lifestyle factors also raise your chances of getting a duodenal ulcer: Alcohol abuse Cigarette or tobacco use. family history of ulcers or the blood type O. A rare condition known as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome may also cause duodenal ulcers. Those who have Zollinger-Ellison syndrome have a tumor in the pancreas that releases high levels of a hormone that increases stomach acid production. Duodenal Ulcer Symptoms Small duodenal ulcers may not cause any symptoms at all. However, large ulcers can cause serious bleeding. The most common symptom is pain in the abdomen. Such pain varies from one individual to another, and will not occur at all in some cases. Pain may also increase or decrease after a meal. Other common symptoms include: *excessive or unusual belching, *frequent heartburn or indigestion *nausea *pain in the chest *unusual fatigue *unusual weight loss Call a doctor right away if you experience *a rigid, hard abdomen that is tender to touch, *symptoms of shock, such as fainting, excessive sweating, or confusion *stools that look bloody or dark and tarry, *vomiting that includes blood. Treating a duodenal ulcer Currently, doctors usually treat a duodenal ulcer by prescribing medications that kill the H. pylori bacteria when it is present. Medications are also available to reduce acid levels, and protect the gastrointestinal tract. This strategy allows your ulcer to heal and reduces the chance it will come back. 11 Bleeding ulcers may require a procedure called endoscopy. This procedure features a thin, tube-like device that is inserted into the area where the ulcer is located. The tube has a heating element attached to the end, and the doctor can stop the bleeding through cauterization. It's important for someone with a duodenal ulcer to follow their doctor's recommendations carefully, otherwise the ulcer may reoccur.
