Are There Benefits to Megadosing Vitamin C

Now I'm not saying that you need to go out and take massive amounts of Vitamin C but what I do want to do is explain how Vitamin C is created in the body in most animals and how it's not created in humans, and if you understand this process and you understand the enzymatic process in which Vitamin C is created, it gives you a better understanding of how you may want to be potentially supplementing Vitamin C. If you haven't already, make sure you hit that subscribe button on my channel and also if you haven't already turn on notifications so you can make sure you know whenever I go live or whenever I post a new video. Let's get straight down to the facts on how the body works. Most people think of Vitamin C as this immune boosting vitamin or supplement that you take to help prevent you from getting sick, but the reality is, it's more than that. It's an electron donor, and what I mean by that is Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, has an extra electron. It has an ability to donate over to free radicals within the body to ultimately neutralize them. You see, free radicals are the oxidative stress that is running around through your body. When we have Vitamin C in the equation, we have this extra electron that can be donated over to a free radical to ultimately render it useless, meaning we can stop those free radicals right in their tracks. Here's the interesting thing. Animals have a natural ability to create Vitamin C. Humans do not. You see, animals create Vitamin C or ascorbic acid in their livers through the combination of four different enzymes. What happens is when they're under stress or when they're under any kind of interesting situation where they have to have a big surge of Vitamin C to combat free radicals, their body will create more. If an animal is under stress, its liver or kidneys creates more Vitamin C to ultimately combat it. So we have sort of this evolutionary proof that Vitamin C does have an effect on neutralizing bad things within the body. The problem is, humans lack the ability to create that Vitamin C. If you look back at the old times, we look back at the Mayflower and Christopher Columbus and all of that stuff, people contracted scurvy. Well, the way that they contracted it was because it was a deficiency in Vitamin C because they weren't able to get it from exogenous sources. They weren't able to eat fruits and veggies when they were on ships, so therefore, they became Vitamin C deficient because their bodies couldn't synthesize it and manufacture it on their own. Now we're running into a similar situation because a lot of our fruits and vegetables are void of the nutrients that we need to get adequate amounts of Vitamin C. So of course we take Vitamin C supplements, no big deal, right? Then that leads us into megadosing Vitamin C because a lot of people have been asking me, Vitamin C, can we take it in megadoses to ultimately combat cancer, to ultimately combat illness, and what is the effect of taking it in extreme doses? Well, we have to take a look again at how it works in the animal world. You see, in the animal world, their livers are gonna produce enough Vitamin C to combat a stressful situation that is ebbing and flowing throughout the course of the day, meaning they might have a baseline level of ascorbic acid that they're making, then they get stressed out so their body creates more. Humans, we have to rely on taking it exogenously, and it's all because we lack that enzyme known as gulonolactone oxidase. Without gulonolactone oxidase, we cannot create Vitamin C. So if we take massive amounts of Vitamin C at one point in time, we are basically simulating an animal only creating extra Vitamin C at one point in time, when in reality, we need to be able to have surges of Vitamin C throughout the course of the day. 1) Blanchard J , et al. Vitamin C Ascorbate. Water soluble, cofactor for enzymatic reactions Anti-oxidant properties, guards against oxidative stress Vit C serves as a cofactor for prolyl-4-hydroxylase and lysyl hydroxylase, an enzyme involved in collagen synthesis. Stable collagen cannot form without proline and lysine hydroxylation. This hydroxylation take place in the ER. Hydroxylation of proline secures the collagen chains in triple helix formation. The subsequent hydroxylation of lysine is required for cross-linking. Deficiency of lysyl hydroxylase: Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Type 6 Other roles: Cofactor for dopamine hydroxylase (dopamine → norepinephrine) Required for reduction of iron from Fe3+ → Fe2+, allowing absorption in the duodenum. Deficiency → scurvy.

How To Make Vitamin C Powder At Home For Immune System Support

02:41
Human beings, just like other mammals, are unable to produce their own vitamin C. It's a very important vitamin for a body, and is essential in the production of skin, tendons, and veins. It also contributes to our immune system, it helps our body absorb iron, and contains antioxidants properties. This totally natural recipe will give you your daily amount of vitamin C, and is also rich in fiber, and enzymes. Ingredients 10 organic lemons or oranges; Instructions In order to make this recipe you’ll only need the peel, so don't waste the fruit itself. Instead, make yourself some juice. Blend the peels, without adding any water. Put the blended peel in a glass dish and cook it in the oven on low heat. Stir the peel around every once in a while in order to keep it from burning. he best way to do this is by leaving the oven door open slightly in order to be able to control the cooking process. Whenever the peel is totally dry and dehydrated, take the dish out of the oven and let it cool. Blend the orange peels once again until they've turned into flour. Now strain the flour and store it in a glass jar. You can keep it in the fridge in order to make sure that it lasts longer. You can use this flour in juices, smoothies, teas, and soups. Try to limit your ingestion of this flour to 1 to 3 teaspoons per day. Not only is it great for your health, but it also makes all the recipes taste great. ---------------------------------------- ▶ Subscribe to the channel - https://goo.gl/3tB19z ▶ Natural Cures en español - https://goo.gl/QcoLf2 ▶ नेचर क्योर्स - Natural Cures (Hindi) - https://goo.gl/okYDFd ▶ Mindfully Yours - https://goo.gl/qXiBjy Disclaimer: The materials and the information contained on Natural Cures channel are provided for general and educational purposes only and do not constitute any legal, medical or other professional advice on any subject matter. Vitamin C & the New Age of Enlightenment

32:43
Vitamin C & the New Age of Enlightenment It has been alleged, perhaps even proven, that vitamin C supplementation beyond the normal recommended daily allowance (RDA) can be vastly supportive of overall good health and longevity. Most species in the animal kingdom will produce their own vitamin C in their bodies as an essential hormone. This is true of cats, dogs, mice and most species and without the internal production of vitamin C, all these species of animals would have greatly shortened life spans. Humans only have 3 of the 4 essential enzymes to produce vitamin C in the body internally. Sometime in the past humans have switched off the gene for gulonolactone oxidase (GLO) enzyme and thus has greatly shorten the normal lifespan of humans. It may be that the Bible, that some say embellishes facts, may be historically dead on accurate when the recorded lifespan of Noah was 950 years. Descendents after Noah, had decreased life spans with succeeding generations. Shem lived to 600 years, then Arphaxad lived to 438 and the generations later to Abraham who lived to 175 years. On to the time of Moses who lived to 120 years. This would correlate to the slow mutation and switching off of the gulonolactone oxidase (GLO) gene. Actually a small percentage of humans can still manufacture a small amount of vitamin C in the body. This further indicates that this may likely have been a normal human capability many centuries ago, as it exists presently in most of the animal kingdom. Currently humans still have the GLO gene but it is non-functioning. Scientists have estimated that with the switching back on of the GLO gene human may again live to be hundreds of years old. Some may think this could have negative social and medical implications but on the flip side it could be a major boon to prosperity due the vast amount of knowledge, experience and skills an older productive generation would possess. But aside from gene therapy, it may be that vitamin C supplementation could have some beneficial anti-aging effects on it's own. Studies have shown that vitamin C slows down the shortening of the telomeres on the DNA by over 50%. Telomeres protect the ends of the DNA and help preserve vital DNA information during cellular division. Another benefit of vitamin C is collagen production. Not only is collagen a major component of the skin, but it is present throughout the body in the tendons, ligaments and all connective tissue. Vitamin C also plays a major role as an anti-inflammatory.In the case of cigarette smokers, large amounts of vitamin C become depleted in the body from smoking cigarettes and this is a major reason for early aging and wrinkles in the face. Cigarette smokers could greatly benefit with additional vitamin C supplementation. In some ways extra vitamin C supplementation could provide some of the same benefits as hormone replacement therapy but at greatly reduced cost. Controversial as it is vitamin C has outperformed AZT in trials on HIV infected human cells. In the New Optimum Nutrition Bible I report on ‘in vitro’ trials on human T-cells infected with HIV, comparing the anti-viral effect of AZT with vitamin C. I say that “AZT, the first prescribable anti-HIV drug, is potentially harmful and proving less effective than vitamin C in suppressing the virus in chronically infected cells (Ref 23).” Ref 23. These ‘in vitro’ studies on human T-cells shows that vitamin C suppresses the HIV virus in both chronically and latently infected cells, while AZT has no significant effect.. The real crime here is that no full scale human trials have been funded on vitamin C to follow up Jariwalla’s important finding probably because it is non-patentable and hence not profitable. Until such a trial is done we will not know to what extent vitamin C can act as an anti-retroviral agent. The non-toxicity of vitamin C, compared to AZT, make the need for this research of paramount importance. Finally, with respect to the conventional cocktail of antiretroviral drugs (which include AZT), it is well known that although these drugs can lower HIV viral load in the bloodstream, such drugs do not restore or reconstitute the immune system, indicating the need for other immunotherapeutic approaches. Why then is vitamin therapy not taken seriously in AIDS? The reason cannot be lack of medical evidence as several peer-reviewed clinical studies support a beneficial role for vitamins in AIDS.

Ascorbic Acid Vs Vitamin C From Whole Foods

http://therapeuticfoodcoach.com/ascorbic-acid-vs-vitamin-c-from-whole-foods/vitamins-minerals/jmalan/ http://iverita.myzija.com http://nevergiveuponyourdream.com Never Give Up On Your Dream! "Why You Should Beware of Ascorbic Acid: Synthetic Vitamin C? Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin, meaning that your body doesn’t store it. You have to get what you need from food, including citrus fruits, broccoli, and tomatoes. When individuals are not getting enough vitamin C in their diets, they often take synthetic vitamin C supplements. Nearly all vitamin C supplements on the market are made from ascorbic acid. Many juices and fruit products are loaded up with ascorbic acid, even many organic, health food store versions. It seems that if a product is labeled “high in Vitamin C,” consumers will buy more of it. Why do we need Vitamin C? According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, you need vitamin C for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of your body. Vitamin C helps the body make collagen, an important protein used to make skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels. Vitamin C is necessary for healing wounds, and for repairing and maintaining bones and teeth. It also helps the body absorb iron. Vitamin C is an antioxidant, along with vitamin E, beta-carotene, and many other plant-based nutrients. Antioxidants block some of the damage caused by free radicals, substances that damage DNA. The build-up of free radicals over time may contribute to the aging process and the development of health conditions such as cancer, heart disease, and arthritis. Why getting vitamin C through ascorbic acid is a problem According to an article in The Healthy Home Economist, ascorbic acid is actually synthetic vitamin C, usually derived from GMO corn. And, there is a growing body of evidence that those consuming high doses of ascorbic acid should have reason to worry. The Winter 2009 edition of Wise Traditions cites 3 studies, which give pause about large doses of vitamin C. The first study (from the Jun 15, 2001 issue of Science) showed that “synthetic vitamin C may contribute to the formation of genotoxins that can lead to cancer.” A second study presented to the American Heart Association showed a link between consumption of only 500mg of vitamin C per day and a greater propensity toward thickening of the arteries (Los Angeles Times, March 3, 2000). Even more recently, athletes taking 1000mg of vitamin C per day showed reduced endurance capacity from interference with antioxidant enzymes (American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Jan 2008). Instead of getting extra vitamin C through ascorbic acid, the article recommends non-ascorbic acid vitamin C supplements. There are many types available on the market. North Coast Organic is proud to say that we do not add ascorbic acid to any of our apple products!" Sources: https://northcoast.organic/beware-ascorbic-acid-synthetic-vitamin-c/

Vitamin C, a potent, naturally occurring antioxidant is an important constituent of skin. It plays a pivotal role in the prevention of dry skin and wrinkles, collagen synthesis and skin regeneration. Ascorbate is found in all layers of the skin, but is more concentrated in the epidermis than the dermis. However, it is readily depleted by about two thirds in cutaneous tissue stores with exposure to UV light. Biochemically, the body relies on ascorbate in the collagen biosynthetic pathway. It functions as a cofactor for two enzymes, lysyl and prolyl hydroxylases. These are dependent on iron and Vitamin C prevents iron oxidation and thus inactivation of these hydroxylases, thereby maintaining their activity. Vitamin C has been shown to be effective in increasing collagen deposits and also enhancing collagen lattice contractions, implying that exogenous Vitamin C application contributes to strengthening the collagen framework and maintaining a healthy dermis. Topical application of Vitamin C has been shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Caused by mechanisms supporting collagen production, this leads to improving the appearance of the skin. It has further been proven to reduce the severity of sunburns and age spots. Cutaneous levels of Vitamin C cannot be achieved well by ingestion, hence topical application is essential for preventing oxidative damage resulting from pollution, smoke and sunlight. Its use has been shown to increase generation of stratum corneum barrier lipids and stabilize lipid profiles, in particular glucosphingolipids and ceramides.

How Enzymes Denature | Biology for All | FuseSchool

04:30
Enzymes have optimal conditions under which they operate. Temperature, pH, enzyme concentration and substrate concentration are some conditions that affect the rate of reaction. As enzymes are proteins, they have an optimum temperature in which they work. They also have a temperature above which they start to denature. This means the active site starts to change shape, so that they can no longer facilitate a reaction. When the active site changes shape, the substrate can no longer fit into the enzyme. This is known as denaturation. Enzymes also have an optimum pH. Enzymes that work in the stomach can function under strongly acidic conditions, whereas other enzymes would denature in these conditions. Vitamin C Therapy And Cancer

08:58
Vitamin C Therapy And Cancer https://www.anoasisofhealing.com/vitamin-c-therapy-for-cancer/ http://www.anoasisofhealing.com/video-disclaimer/ There are many metabolic therapies used to fight and treat cancer and one of them is intravenous high dose vitamin c therapy. It was proven a long time ago that a person could not take enough vitamin c orally to achieve the levels necessary to kill cancer cells. Vitamin C is an ascorbic acid. Ascorbic acid is a compound that is essential to life on earth and we find it in the smallest to the largest of organisms. And, most organisms are able to produce it “as needed”. Humans are primates and therefore don’t produce it on its own, we need to consume it through our diet, hence why vitamin c is called a vitamin. So what does vitamin c actually do for us? Well, it’s a reducing compound or what is better known as an antioxidant. An antioxidant donates electrons where needed which is amazing in and of itself and very beneficial to our overall health. There are many times where a molecule needs an extra electron and those are called free radicals, so the antioxidant quenches free radicals. Free radicals are detrimental to our health so this is what we want and need to happen. Now, something altogether different happens when vitamin c therapy is used intravenously in high doses. The vitamin c or antioxidants then donate electrons to copper or iron which we have an abundance of in our bodies. This process produces peroxides which are normal metabolic intermediates used in all sorts of metabolic situations. The key point to understand is that normal healthy cells have an enzyme that converts these peroxides into water and oxygen. Cancer cells do not have this enzyme and therefore can’t covert these peroxides and the cells end up dying. Metabolism is a complex process that has a lot more going on than personal trainers and commercials might have you believe. Today we are exploring some of its key parts, including vital nutrients -- such as water, vitamins, minerals, carbs, fats, and proteins -- as well as how anabolic reactions build structures and require energy, while catabolic reactions tear things apart and release energy. Why My Hair and Nails Grow Too Fast: Markus Rothkranz

Arrrgh! My hair and nails grows too fast because of what I eat. Learn what makes hair grow and what makes hair fall out. Our Raw Vegan Health Cookbook: http://www.markusworld.com/healthycookbook/hairn Facebook: http://www.markusworld.com/facebook/hairn Instagram: http://www.markusworld.com/instagram/hairn Markus Rothkranz website: http://www.markusworld.com/Markus/hairn Online Health Store: http://www.markusworld.com/products/hairn German website: http://www.markusworld.com/german/hairn If you want healthy hair, nails, and skin, then there are some things you need to avoid, and there are some things you should do. If your hair is thin or falling out, you need to be aware that your body considers that a low priority. Your body will actually take nutrients from your hair to heal other parts of your body first. There are some healthy things you can do to remedy this issue, and those with skin and nails. Stress is a huge hair loss issue http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/stress-management/expert-answers/stress-and-hair-loss/faq-20057820 Telogen effluvium. In telogen effluvium (TEL-o-jun uh-FLOO-vee-um), significant stress pushes large numbers of hair follicles into a resting phase. Within a few months, affected hairs might fall out suddenly when simply combing or washing your hair. http://newsroom.ucla.edu/releases/ucla-va-researchers-may-have-discovered-190273 It has been long known that stress plays a part not just in the graying of hair but in hair loss as well. https://medlineplus.gov/hairloss.html You lose up to 100 hairs from your scalp every day. That's normal, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, or poor nutrition. Connective tissue needs Silica http://www.naturalnews.com/031097_skin_health_bamboo.html The skin is the largest organ in the body, and it requires a balance of nutrients in order to stay healthy. The silica from bamboo extract improves skin health by helping the body absorb essential minerals such as calcium, potassium, and magnesium. Bamboo extract also offers anti-irritant properties, soothing the skin when applied directly through lotions or creams. It also contains anti-oxidants, helping to minimize wrinkles and naturally boost youthful radiance. http://www.eidon.com/silicaresearch/ Silica is also known to enhance appearance of hair, skin and nails. The Importance of Stomach Acid, what to do about H Pylori

09:21
Stomach acid seves many functions for the human body, and without proper levels, it could to autoimmune disorders, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, emphesema, collagen loss, wrinkles, aging, poor skin elasticity, and H. Pylori, a bacteria that lives in the stomach which can lead to serious health issues. TheHealthyLife: http://www.markusworld.com/thehealthylife/sto Our Raw Vegan Health Cookbook: http://www.markusworld.com/healthycookbook/sto Online Health Store: http://www.markusworld.com/products/sto Markus Rothkranz discusses with medical expert James Sloane. Low stomach acid is connected with emphysema, emfizima, chronic bronchitis and lung problems? Bloating could be a sign of h pylori thanks to alkaline water or kangen water which leads to bad digestion and stomach parasites. What to do for stomach cramps, gas, bad digestion, gut problems and why is is connected with wrinkles, collagen, elastin and h pillory. How to rebuild stomach acid is discussed. James Sloane site: http://www.medcapsules.com Having ample stomach acid is critical for good health. Stomach acids do much more than just facilitate food digestion. It kills bacteria, fungus, and viruses. It breaks down the protein we take properly so as to strengthen our immune system. It helps us absorb silica which keeps our skin and joints healthy and young; and much more. H Pylori generates ammonia, which is alkaline, and can impede all the positive functions of our stomach acid. H Pylori can be kept in check by eating more “bitters”, not taking anti-acids, not drinking alkaline water, and taking Mastic gum. H Pylori perforates the stomach lining and can cause anything from ulcers to cancer https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1539101/ Abstract. History. …this bacterium causes chronic active gastritis, which in a subset of subjects may progress to other conditions, in particular, peptic ulcer disease, distal gastric adenocarcinomas, and gastric lymphomas… “Bitters” assist stomach acid http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.3109/09637486.2011.627841 Abstract. ….The plants that have a substantial body of data in support of their digestion-enhancing activities mainly belong to one of three groups: bitter, aromatic and pungent plants. Amongst the most important we can find ginger, peppermint, aniseed and fennel, citrus fruits, dandelion and artichoke, melissa and chamomile, but many more have a significant body of experimental data available. Stomach acid is needed for Silica; important for skin, cartilage, preventing arthritis, influenza, osteoporosis, etc. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3546016/ Abstract…Silicon has already been associated with bone mineralization, collagen synthesis, skin, hair and nails health atherosclerosis, Alzheimer disease, immune system enhancement, and with some other disorders or pharmacological effects. …. Stomach acid does much more than assists in digesting food http://www.life-enthusiast.com/hydrochloric-acid-a-1331.html Abstract. The normal sequence of digestion and absorption is dependent upon the anatomic and physiologic integrity of the upper gastrointestinal tract. When this system is disrupted, disorders of digestion and absorption can occur. Because of inadequate breakdown and assimilation, impaired gastric secretions are likely to result in nutritional deficiencies not withstanding adequate ingestion of nutrients. Secretion of gastric acid is required to destroy orally-ingested pathogens and to prevent their overgrowth in the stomach and small intestine. Additionally, the dumping of acidic chyme into the small intestine is necessary to stimulate the release of hormones, pancreatic enzymes, and bile. In order to have optimal absorption of several nutrients, including folic acid, ascorbic acid, beta-carotene, non-heme iron, and some forms of calcium, magnesium and zinc, adequate HCl production is required. It is quite probable the absorption of other nutrients are dependent on HCl secretion. HCl administration seems to be most indicated in aging people not responding to nutrients which seem indicated, particularly B vitamins and minerals. Childhood asthma, alcoholism, chronic skin conditions, digestive disturbances, intestinal permeability, overgrowth by pathogenic bacteria or fungi, and evidence of parasites are conditions which may indicate impaired ability to secrete adequate HCl and which may benefit from supplementation. Diseases associated with the pancreas or gallbladder, since these organs indirectly require stomach HCl production to function optimally, may also benefit from HCl administration. https://www.karger.com/Article/Abstract/357848 http://iai.asm.org/content/76/2/639.full http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0134116 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2543192

What is VITAMIN C MEGADOSAGE? What does VITAMIN C METADOSAGE mean? VITAMIN C METADOSAGE meaning

What is VITAMIN C MEGADOSAGE? What does VITAMIN C METADOSAGE mean? VITAMIN C METADOSAGE meaning - VITAMIN C MEGADOSAGE definition - VITAMIN C MEGADOSAGE explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. SUBSCRIBE to our Google Earth flights channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6UuCPh7GrXznZi0Hz2YQnQ Vitamin C megadosage is a term describing the consumption or injection of vitamin C (ascorbate) in doses comparable to the amounts produced by the livers of most other mammals. Such dosages correspond to amounts well beyond the current Dietary Reference Intake. Oral dosages are usually divided and consumed in portions over the day. Injections of hundreds of grams per day are advocated by some physicians for the treatment of certain conditions, poisonings, or recovery from trauma. People who practice vitamin C megadosage may consume many vitamin C pills throughout each day or dissolve pure vitamin C crystals in water or juice and drink it throughout the day. Historic advocates of vitamin C megadosage include Linus Pauling, who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1954. Pauling argued that, due to a non-functional form of L-gulonolactone oxidase, an enzyme required to make vitamin C that is functional in most other mammalian relatives, humans have developed a number of adaptations to cope with the relative deficiency. These adaptations, he argued, ultimately shortened lifespan but could be reversed or mitigated by supplementing humans with the hypothetical amount of vitamin C that would have been produced in the body if the enzyme were working. Vitamin C megadoses are claimed by alternative medicine advocates including Matthias Rath and Patrick Holford to have preventative and curative effects on diseases such as cancer and AIDS, but the available scientific evidence does not support these claims. Some trials show some effect in combination with other therapies, but this does not imply vitamin C megadoses in themselves have therapeutic effect. The World Health Organization recommends a daily intake of 45 milligrams (mg)/day of vitamin C for healthy adults, and 25–30 mg/day in infants. Vitamin C is necessary for production of collagen and other biomolecules, and for the prevention of scurvy. Vitamin C is an antioxidant, which has led to its endorsement by some researchers as a complementary therapy for improving quality of life. Since the 1930s, when it first became available in pure form, some physicians have experimented with higher than recommended vitamin C consumption or injection. Certain animal species, including haplorhine primates (which includes humans), members of the Caviidae family of rodents (including guinea pigs and capybaras), most species of bats, many passerine birds, and about 96% of fish (the teleosts), do not synthesize vitamin C internally. Since its discovery, vitamin C has been considered almost a panacea by some, although this led to suspicions of it being overhyped by others. Vitamin C has been promoted in alternative medicine as a treatment for the common cold, cancer, polio and various other illnesses. The evidence for these claims is mixed. Orthomolecular-based megadose recommendations for vitamin C are based mainly on theoretical speculation and observational studies, such as those published by Fred R. Klenner from the 1940s through the 1970s. There is a strong advocacy movement for such doses of vitamin C, and there is an absence of large scale, formal trials in the 10 to 200+ grams per day range. The single repeatable side effect of oral megadose vitamin C is a mild laxative effect if the practitioner attempts to consume too much too quickly. A tolerable upper limit (UL) of vitamin C was set at 2 grams for the first time in the year 2000, referencing this mild laxative effect as the reason for establishing the UL.:13 About 70-90% of vitamin C is adsorbed by the body when taken orally at normal levels (30–180 mg daily). Adsorption is only about 50% for daily doses of 1 g. Oral administration, even of mega doses, cannot raise blood concentration above 0.22 mM. Humans and other species that do not synthesize vitamin C carry a mutated and ineffective form of the enzyme L-gulonolactone oxidase, the fourth and last step in the ascorbate-producing machinery. In the anthropoids lineage, this mutation likely occurred 40 to 25 million years ago. The three surviving enzymes continue to produce the precursors to vitamin C, but the process is incomplete and the body then disassembles them.....

9 Thyroid supplements Every Hypothyroid Patient Should Consider Using

36:41
Thyroid supplements (if used correctly) can help boost your thyroid function, help with weight loss and help you feel better. Recommended thyroid supplements to enhance thyroid function: - For thyroid hormone production and conversion: https://www.restartmed.com/product/thyroid-adrenal-reset-complex/ + https://www.restartmed.com/product/t3-conversion-booster/ - For hair loss: https://www.restartmed.com/product/thyroid-hair-regrowth-complex/ - For weight management: https://www.restartmed.com/product/gut-bomb-350-billion/ + https://www.restartmed.com/product/functional-fuel-complete/ - For gut health: https://www.restartmed.com/product/ultra-biotic-x100/ - For energy and adrenal health: https://www.restartmed.com/product/thyroid-adrenal-reset-complex/ + https://www.restartmed.com/product/power-b-complex/ The problem comes with knowing WHICH supplements to take and at WHAT dose. It takes over 13 nutrients to create thyroid hormone, convert T4 to T3 and sensitize the cellular receptors to T3. Many thyroid supplements cram all of these nutrients into a supplement and call it "good". This is the WRONG approach to take. Instead basing your supplementation off of the needs of your body is far superior. That means using lab work and other markers to find what nutrients you need in what doses. 9 Thyroid supplements that I find most hypothyroid patients are deficient in: 1. Vitamin B12 - Thyroid hormone is involved in the proper absorption of thyroid hormone. See the video for a complete list of symptoms. Repleting low vitamin B12 is best done through sublingual or intramuscular injections. 2. Adrenal support - Most thyroid patients also have issues with cortisol dysregulation. If you have advanced adrenal fatigue most patients do better on adrenal glandulars. For more mild disease consider using adrenal adaptogens. If your cortisol is elevated consider using phosphatidylserine. 3. Zinc - Low levels of zinc can cause issues with your skin and issue with hair growth. Adding zinc boosts immune function, T4 to T3 conversion and acts as an anti-inflammatory. Make sure to supplement with zinc bound to picolinic acid. 4. Iron - This is what I consider a "Goldilocks" nutrient in that you don't want TOO much or TOO little. Unfortunately, most doctors look for iron deficiency anemia and don't necessarily jus treat iron deficiency unless anemia accompanies it. Use these optimal levels to supplement with iron. 5. Magnesium - Hypothyroidism alters magnesium and low levels of magnesium can lead to issues like depression, anxiety and other changes like muscle cramps or restless leg syndrome. Replace low levels with magnesium glycinate, magnesium citrate if you have constipation or magnsium threonate if you have neurological issues. 6. Selenium - This nutrient is involved in the thyroid conversion process. Not only that but supplementing has been shown to reduce TPO antibodies and boost the immune system. In addition, using iodine with selenium can help reduce negative side effects. 7. Probiotics - Up to 20% of thyroid conversion happens in the gut and inflammation can reduce this number. Hypothyroidism sets up the gut for imbalances that lead to inflammation. Using probiotics can help improve your GI function. 8. Digestive enzymes - Hypothyroidism leads to low stomach acid which can predispose patients to malabsorption of certain nutrients. Using enzymes can help digest your food, increase nutrient absorption and if taken in between meals may promote the breakdown of immune complexes. 9. Iodine - If used correctly iodine can be helpful in boosting thyroid function. The thyroid hormone is made up of iodine moieties and low levels of iodine can reduce the amount of functioning thyroid hormone in the body. More information in the video and the full blog post can be found here: http://www.restartmed.com/thyroid-supplements/ You can read more on my website here: https://www.restartmed.com/ This video is not intended to be used as medical advice. How to Get the Most out of Vitamin Supplements- Thomas DeLauer

07:50
How to Get the Most out of Vitamin Supplements- Thomas DeLauer: When should you take your vitamins? To learn more about how I can help you, head to http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com Many factors play a role on how available vitamins and supplements are when you take them. Fat-Soluble Vitamins: Vitamins A, D, E and K- These are stored in the liver and fat stores in your body, so you do not need to consume these every day. They are easy to get from food as they are not easily broken down by heat when cooking. These are the most important vitamins to eat with food, as the name implies, they are only absorbed and used by the body in the presence of fat. These vitamins dissolve in fat and are then delivered to the bloodstream for use in the body. Not much fat is needed, but if taking a supplement, or even eating fruits and veggies, but sure to have some fat added. If you make a healthy smoothie, add some almond butter or you favorite oil, such as macadamia nut oil. When eating salads, do not use fat-free salad dressings! Olive oil and lemon juice are great options. Be careful if you supplement these vitamins and be sure to check with your doctor if you feel you may need to do so. These vitamins are only needed in small quantities and can build up to a dangerous level if too many are taken. Vitamin D is the main fat-soluble vitamin in the US where deficiencies are common. This is due to inadequate exposure to sunlight. Fortified foods and supplements can help. Try to obtain 5-15 minutes of direct sunlight twice per week to avoid a deficiency, and if this is not possible then talk to your doctor about supplementation. Water-Soluble Vitamins: Vitamin C and B-complex vitamins are water soluble vitamins that you need to be sure to include in your diet daily. Unlike fat-soluble vitamins, these vitamins are not stored in your adipose tissue or liver and are in essence washed from your body daily. Food storage and preparation are important when making sure to get sufficient quantities of these vitamins. Deficiencies are uncommon, however vegans do not have a natural source of vitamin B12 and usually need to supplement. While deficiencies are not common, it is still important to consume daily for bodily functioning. As these vitamins dissolve in water, you do not need to take these with foods, although you can if you want to. Minerals: Calcium and Magnesium (2,4) - These are best taken with food and good to take at night. Calcium is linked to improved sleep due to its muscle relaxing abilities and magnesium has calming effects on the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. Zinc (2,4) - Take with or after meals to avoid stomach upset. Do not take with dairy as calcium hampers absorption. Also avoid taking with iron as large quantities of iron can also hurt your body’s ability to absorb zinc. Avoid taking excess zinc, which can lead to anemia through suppression of copper absorption. Iron (4) - Best to take on an empty stomach. Avoid taking with zinc, calcium and vitamin E as these can decrease absorption. If you have a sensitive stomach you may not do well when taking iron on an empty stomach. If so, take with a light meal. Probiotics (4) - Best to take 30 minutes before a meal as this is when digestive enzymes, bile salts and stomach acid are at low levels. These levels peak after a meal, so this is the worst time to take a probiotic. Fiber (2) - Be sure to separate taking fiber from other nutritional supplements as fiber can hamper mineral absorption. Fish Oil (4) – Fish Oil is best to take with food and with your multivitamin, or other fat-soluble vitamins, if you take them. The fat in the food that you eat can help to aid in digestion and absorption. As fats take a long time for your body to digest, it is best not to take fish oil pills or eat a fatty meal pre-workout. This can cause digestive upset. Multivitamins: As these contain both water- and fat-soluble vitamins, take with plenty of water and some food with fat in it, but try not to take with dairy as this can reduce your absorption of zinc. How to Detox your Liver Top Ten LIVER CLEANSING Superfoods. 1. Garlic Garlic Just a small amount of this pungent white bulb has the ability to activate liver enzymes that help your body flush out toxins.[1] Garlic also holds high amounts of allicin and selenium, two natural compounds that aid in liver cleansing. 2. Grapefruit High in both vitamin C and antioxidants, citrus fruits like grapefruit, oranges, limes, and lemons support the natural cleansing abilities of the liver.[2] Have a small glass of freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice to boost production of the liver detoxification enzymes that help flush out carcinogens and other toxins. 3. Beets and Carrots Beets Both are extremely high in plant-flavonoids and beta-carotene; eating beets and carrots can stimulate and support overall liver function.[3] 4. Green Tea This liver-loving beverage is full of plant-based antioxidants known as catechins—compounds known to assist liver function.[4] Green tea is a delicious, healthy addition to any diet. Just remember that green tea offers the benefits, not green tea extract. Some research suggests green tea extract may actually have a negative effect on liver health.[5] Keep it simple and stick to the beverage to enjoy the benefits of green tea. 5. Leafy Green Vegetables Leafy Greens One of our most powerful allies in cleansing the liver, leafy greens can be eaten raw, cooked, or juiced. Extremely high in chlorophyll, greens soak up environmental toxins from the blood stream.[6] With their distinct ability to neutralize heavy metals, chemicals, and pesticides, these cleansing foods offer a powerful protective mechanism for the liver. Incorporate leafy greens such as bitter gourd, arugula, dandelion greens, spinach, mustard greens, and chicory into your diet. This will increase creation and flow of bile—the substance that removes waste from the organs and blood. 6. Avocados This nutrient-dense superfood helps the body produce glutathione, a compound that is necessary for the liver to cleanse harmful toxins.[7] 7. Apples Apple High in pectin, apples hold the chemical constituents necessary for the body to cleanse and release toxins from the digestive tract. This, in turn, makes it easier for the liver to handle the toxic load during the cleansing process.[2, 8] 8. Olive Oil Cold-pressed organic oils such as olive, hemp, and flaxseed are great for the liver when used in moderation. They help the body by providing a lipid base that can absorb harmful toxins in the body.[9] In this way, they take some of the burden off the liver. 9. Alternative Grains If your diet includes wheat, flour, or other standard grains, it’s time to make changes. And alternative grains like quinoa, millet, and buckwheat can help. Your liver is your body’s filter for toxins, and if you have certain sensitivities, grains that contain gluten only add to them. One study found that persons who experienced sensitivity to gluten also experienced abnormal liver enzyme test results.[10] 10. Cruciferous Vegetables Broccoli and cauliflower are good sources of glucosinolate, which supports enzyme production in the liver. These natural enzymes flush carcinogens and other toxins from the body, and may significantly lower risks associated with cancer.[2] 11. Lemons and Limes Lemons and Limes These citrus fruits are high in vitamin C, which aids the body in synthesizing toxic materials into substances that can be absorbed by water. Drinking freshly-squeezed lemon or lime juice in the morning can stimulate the liver.[2] 12. Walnuts High in the amino acid arginine, walnuts support the liver in detoxifying ammonia. [11] Walnuts are also high in glutathione and omega-3 fatty acids,[12] which support normal liver cleansing.[13, 14] Make sure you chew the nuts until they are liquefied before swallowing. 13. Cabbage Much like broccoli and cauliflower, eating cabbage stimulates liver detoxifying enzymes that help flush out toxins. Kimchi, coleslaw, cabbage soup, and sauerkraut are great cabbage-foods to add to your diet.[2] 14. Turmeric Turmeric is the liver’s favorite spice. Try adding some of this detoxifying goodness into your next lentil stew or veggie dish for an instant liver pick-me-up. Turmeric helps boost liver detoxification by assisting enzymes that actively flush out dietary toxins.[1] This golden spice tastes great in all kinds of dishes, but you can further boost your intake with a turmeric supplement. A word of warning; turmeric supplements are somewhat notorious for low-quality ingredients and even outright dangerous contamination.[15] Only buy the highest quality turmeric from the most reputable sources. I encourage you to try Global Healing Center’s own Turmeric supplement. This premium liquid supplement contains potent antioxidants and is sourced only from organic Curcuma longa root.

Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about what liver spots are. Liver spots are not really caused by your liver, but it is caused by vitamin C deficiency. Vitamin C protects skin from the sun. You want to consume vegetables that have high vitamin C not just used cream and serum on you skin. Most Vitamin C are synthetic and I do not recommend it. Eat vegetables with high concentrated vitamin C such as collard green, cabbage, bell pepper, chili pepper...etc. DR. Vitamin C #AlexaExplains

22:09
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid and L-ascorbic acid, is a vitamin found in food and used as a dietary supplement. The disease scurvy is prevented and treated with vitamin C-containing foods or dietary supplements. Evidence does not support use in the general population for the prevention of the common cold. There is, however, some evidence that regular use may shorten the length of colds. It is unclear if supplementation affects the risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease, or dementia. It may be taken by mouth or by injection. Vitamin C is generally well tolerated. Large doses may cause gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, trouble sleeping, and flushing of the skin. Normal doses are safe during pregnancy. The United States Institute of Medicine recommends against taking large doses. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient involved in the repair of tissue and the enzymatic production of certain neurotransmitters. It is required for the functioning of several enzymes and is important for immune system function. It also functions as an antioxidant. Foods containing vitamin C include citrus fruits, kiwifruit, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, raw bell peppers, and strawberries. Prolonged storage or cooking may reduce vitamin C content in foods. Vitamin C was discovered in 1912, isolated in 1928, and in 1933 was the first vitamin to be chemically produced. It is on the World Health Organization Model List of Essential Medicines, the most effective and safe medicines needed in a health system. Vitamin C is available as a generic medication and over-the-counter drug. In 2015, the wholesale cost in the developing world was less than US$0.01 per tablet. Partly for its discovery, Albert Szent-Györgyi and Walter Norman Haworth were awarded 1937 Nobel Prizes in Physiology and Medicine and Chemistry, respectively.

Best Time To Take Vitamins and Supplements

02:56
Do you know how to take your vitamins and supplements? Timing is everything when it comes to taking your vitamins and supplements, so we've put together a guide to help you maximize the powerful health benefits that come from taking them at the right time. Read more about this on our blog: http://blog.professionalsupplementcenter.com/the-best-time-to-take-nutritional-supplements/ Morning: -Probiotics - Probiotics are best taken in the morning on an empty stomach. • When the stomach is empty, digestive activity is quiet and stomach acid and pH balance are relatively low, increasing the chances for the helpful microorganisms to thrive. -Iron - Iron is best absorbed in the morning on an empty stomach. • Caffeine, dairy and calcium can negatively affect absorption, so it's best to avoid these for several hours after taking iron. -Multivitamins - Take multivitamins with your first meal. In the morning! • As multivitamins contain both water and fat soluble vitamins, be sure to include some healthy fats with your meal for optimal absorption. -B-Complex vitamins - Taking B vitamins with breakfast helps to boost your metabolism and convert your food into energy, which can be used throughout the day. -Vitamin C- Vitamin C is best taken in the morning to support the immune system and boost energy levels. • Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin that lasts only a few hours in the blood stream, so if your formula recommends more than 1 tablet per day, take it in divided doses with meals to get the full benefit. Noon: -CoQ10 - CoQ10 is best taken at lunch time with a meal that contains dietary fats. • Avoid taking CoQ10 late in the day so it doesn't disturb your sleep. -Vitamin D - Vitamin D is best taken with a meal that contains dietary fats. • It's possible that Vitamin D can negatively affect sleep, so lunch time is a good time to get your Vitamin D. -Iodine - Iodine is not stored in the body, so regular intake is needed. kelp tablets taken with lunch may boost midday energy levels. -Vitamin K - Vitamin K is best absorbed along with dietary fats and ideally should be taken during the middle of the day. • Avoid taking vitamin K if you are taking Coumadin or any anticoagulant prescription drug, as Vitamin K can interfere with the effects of the medication. Night: - Fish oil - Important to support many aspects of health, fish oil is best taken with a main meal like dinner to aid absorption. -Calcium - Calcium aids nerve transmission and muscle function. To get the full benefit, take calcium in the evening along with magnesium. -Magnesium - Magnesium has a calming effect on the muscles and nervous system and may aid restful sleep. • Magnesium works synergistically with calcium, so take these together either as individual supplements or in a combined formula. In addition: -Digestive Enzymes - Digestive enzymes can be taken with any meal or within 30 minutes of your meal. Unless you have serious digestive issues, they don't necessarily need to be taken with light meals or snacks, but can be very beneficial for optimal breakdown and absorption of nutrients when taken with main meals. -Fiber - Fiber supplements may be taken either first thing in the morning or before bed. Be sure to take fiber with a full glass of water and get plenty of water during the day. Fiber can delay or reduce the absorption of certain medications so always check with your healthcare provider before taking. Liver Detox - Eat These 10 foods that Naturally cleanse your liver Modern society is a sad state that produces many over-processed livers. When we overeat or eat processed or fried foods, and, anytime we are exposed to environmental pollutants or stress, the liver becomes overworked and overloaded. When the liver is taxed, it can’t process toxins and fat in an efficient way. There are many foods that can help cleanse the liver naturally by stimulating its natural ability to clean toxic waste from the body. 1.Lemons & Limes These citrus fruits contain very high amounts of vitamin C, which aids the body in synthesizing toxic materials into substances that can be absorbed by water. Drinking freshly-squeezed lemon or lime juice mixed with water in the morning helps stimulate the liver. 2. Turmeric The liver’s favorite spice. Try adding some of this detoxifying goodness into your next lentil stew or veggie dish for an instant liver pick-me-up. Turmeric helps boost liver detox, by assisting enzymes that actively flush out dietary carcinogens. 3.Beets and Carrots: Carrots are rich in Glutathione, a protein that helps detoxify the liver. Both are extremely high in plant-flavonoids and beta-carotene. Eating beets and carrots can help stimulate and improve overall liver function 4. Garlic: Garlic is loaded with Sulphur, which activates liver enzymes that help your body flush out toxins. Garlic also holds high amounts of allicin and selenium, two natural compounds that also aid in liver cleansing. 5. Leafy Green Vegetables: Green veggies are extremely high in plant chlorophylls that absorb environmental toxins, increase bile production, and neutralize heavy metals, chemicals, and pesticides, which lowers the burden on the liver 6. Grapefruit High in both vitamin C and antioxidants, grapefruit increases the natural cleansing processes of the liver. A small glass of freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice will help boost production of the liver detoxification enzymes that help flush out carcinogens and other toxins. 7.Apples High in pectin, apples hold the chemical constituents necessary for the body to cleanse and release toxins from the digestive tract. This, in turn, makes it easier for the liver to handle the toxic load during the cleansing process. 8. Olive Oil Cold-pressed organic oils such as olive, hemp and flax-seed are great for the liver, when used in moderation. They help the body by providing a lipid base that can suck up harmful toxins in the body. In this way, it takes some of the burden off the liver in terms of the toxic overload many of us suffer from. 9. Cruciferous Vegetables Eating broccoli and cauliflower will increase the amount of glucosinolate in your system, adding to enzyme production in the liver. These natural enzymes help flush out carcinogens, and other toxins, out of our body which may significantly lower risks associated with cancer. 10. Cabbage Much like broccoli and cauliflower, eating cabbage helps stimulate the activation of two crucial liver detoxifying enzymes that help flush out toxins. How to Alkalize Your Body Naturally | The importance of pH

10:04
Hello! My tribe, My heartfelt gratitude to all of you for showering me with so much love. Its so nice to know that you all are loving the content on my blog and channel. Today I am going to talk about something that affects our overall health on a big way. Its about alkalizing our body that can help us loose weight and avoid many diseases. So lets start from the basic, being a certified health coach, I always like to explain thing from the basic level for all of you to understand your body better. I’m sure you must have got the hang of how having a ph balance in the body is so very important! Now that we know balancing ph is important. But how to do that? So let me tell you a few things you can do which are super easy and super effective to help you keep the ph balance! Drink warm water with organic raw apple cider vinegar or a squeeze of lemon in the morning. Apple cider vinegar helps the body maintain a ph balance by restoring the body’s alkaline state. Also, lemon has vitamin C which helps in getting rid of acidity and prevents acid reflux. So including this one drink in your daily routine can work wonders to maintain the ph balance in your body throughout the day. Avoid caffeine sugar and alcohol For most of us, to imagine the start of our day without that mug of coffee, indulging in sweets after a meal and ending the day without having a drink may seem unfathomable. These three things make us feel so good, that giving them up looks quite challenging. But let me tell you, that happens only at first. Although caffeine sharpens our thought process, sugar gives us the feel good high and alcohol relaxes us, these three increase the acid levels in the body and make us more irritable and lethargic in the long run! Plus, consuming these foods cause dependency which is anyway not a great thing for your health. So cut this crap from your diet and balance blood sugar, reduce pathogenic bacteria in the gut and be in a fantastic mood always. Drink fresh organic green smoothies If making drastic changes to your diet is tough, there is one change you can make which is fast and easy and which will make a huge difference – it is also something I do every day! Drink fresh organic green juices and smoothies. I have been living by this habit for years and it has helped me tremendously. Adding a green drink to your routine is a superb way to add more veggies to your diet. This helps alleviate mood cravings and provides you with a burst of nutrition. The rule is pretty simple, if you don’t give your body enough nutrition, cravings kick in, and once you give into those cravings, you’re going to grab unhealthy foods that will cause acidity and disrupt your ph balance. Greens are full of nutrition and also fiber which keep the digestive system on track. So start pumping your body with greens and get the green drink cravings instead! Eat leafy green veggies Green veggies are alkalizing to the body, so increase the amount of green veggies in your diet. Include it in your salad or make a soup of it, but try to add it in every meal. Go for green or dark vegetables such as beetroot, avocado, broccoli, spinach, kale, peas, beans and cucumber. Colourful veggies contain enzymes that help to break down food. Also, green vegetables are great sources of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates. So focus on replacing processed foods with steamed, microwaved, roasted or raw vegetables to avoid adding more acid-inducing fat to your diet. Eat slacked nuts and seeds Nuts and seeds are nutrient-dense powerhouses which provide protein, fiber, healthy fats, enzymes and a number of vitamins and minerals. You can eat them whole, in butters or use them as nut creams and nut milks to make sauces or smoothies. Nuts are mostly low acid superfoods that have high levels of enzymes which help to keep the digestive system in place and also reduce food cravings. Except for guinea pigs, birds, fish, certain species of bat and higher order primates such as humans, apes and monkeys it can be synthesized by all species. This is why all these species depend on their diet to intake Vitamin C. Since the ancient times people have known to include Vitamin C is widely used as a dietary supplement. It is an important nutrient that is required in production of some neurotransmitters and repair of tissues in human body. Several enzymes in human body function with the help of Vitamin C and human immune system also requires this nutrient. Bell peppers, all cutrus fruits, brusells, strawberries and broccoli are rich in Vitamin C. Sudies have already confirmed that Vitamin C is beneficial for the cancer patients. This nutrient has so many good effects that medical science hasn’t stopped researching further about its benefits. It has an enormous potential as an antioxidant and has the capacity of both preventing and in several cases reversing the host of illnesses in humans.

IV Vitamin C for Kidney Disease | Alternative Treatment

01:21
http://healthykidneyinc.com Hi, this is Robert Galarowicz, founder of HealthyKidneyInc.com which is all about helping people treat their chronic kidney disease naturally. In today's video, I'll be discussing a bit about the precautions you need to take if you have kidney disease and are thinking about doing IV vitamin c infusions or IV therapy in general. IV vitamin c could be beneficial for some people, but for people with kidney disease, IV Vitamin C therapy may not be a safe option due to some recent research being done in the field. It's important to keep your immune system as strong as possible which is often what Vitamin C IV therapies are used for, but with kidney disease it's absolutely vital that you take care of yourself and find out as much information as you can about any procedure. IV Vitamin C infusions shouldn't be considered at all without taking an enzyme test which checks for G6PD deficiency. Ask your doctor or healthcare practitioner to test for this before considering any IV therapy as it may damage your kidneys even further if you aren't careful. If kidney disease treatments and diets are important to you then you should definitely subscribe to our newsletter to get the latest in kidney disease and kidney health information delivered right into your inbox: http://healthykidneyinc.com/subscribe/ Find us all across social media for the latest kidney health developments: https://www.facebook.com/Healthy-Kidn... https://twitter.com/KidneyRestore remedies for kidney disease herbs for kidney disease herbal remedies for kidney disease remedies for ckd herbs for ckd *This content is strictly the opinion of Robert Galarowicz, and is for informational and educational purposes only. Vitamin C For Heart Failure, Does Vitamin C Heal Prevent Heart Failure

http://heartnews365.com/angirx33288137/ Cardiovascular disease (also called heart disease) is a class of diseases that involve the heart, the blood vessels (arteries, capillaries, and veins) or both.[1] Cardiovascular disease refers to any disease that affects the cardiovascular system, principally cardiac disease, vascular diseases of the brain and kidney, and peripheral arterial disease.[2] The causes of cardiovascular disease are diverse but atherosclerosis and/or hypertension are the most common. Additionally, with aging come a number of physiological and morphological changes that alter cardiovascular function and lead to subsequently increased risk of cardiovascular disease, even in healthy asymptomatic individuals.[3] Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of deaths worldwide, though since the 1970s, cardiovascular mortality rates have declined in many high-income countries.[4][5] At the same time, cardiovascular deaths and disease have increased at a fast rate in low- and middle-income countries.[6] Although cardiovascular disease usually affects older adults, the antecedents of cardiovascular disease, notably atherosclerosis, begin in early life, making primary prevention efforts necessary from childhood.[7] There is therefore increased emphasis on preventing atherosclerosis by modifying risk factors, such as healthy eating, exercise, and avoidance of smoking Looking for a natural remedy to reverse coronary heart disease that work? High Dose Vitamin C Therapy

05:15
High Dose Vitamin C Therapy https://www.anoasisofhealing.com/high-dose-vitamin-c-therapy-for-cancer/ What is the value of intravenous high dose Vitamin C therapy for cancer? Vitamin C is essential and without it we would have a deficiency syndrome called scurvy. Vitamin C is necessary for the production of collagen. Collagen is very important as it provides the firmness to our skin and without it our skin would sag and our gums would bleed. Vitamin C is a compound that is found in lots of different plant foods and fruits. Oranges, lemons and limes are great providers of natural vitamin c. Vitamin C is an antioxidant. What an antioxidant or reducing agent as it’s called in medical terms does is donate electrons. Wherever there is an electron deficiency it donates an electron. Atoms that have an electron deficiency are called a free radical. Free radicals run around looking for an electron and in the process they create damage. They tear holes in membranes and can cause mutations. An antioxidant comes along and gives the free radical the electron that it is hungrily looking for and quenches it. What we have found is that high doses of intravenous vitamin c are able to quickly donate electrons to free radicals. Where it runs into iron or cooper which are two very prevalent minerals in our body it creates a reaction which is called the Fenton reaction. When it donates to iron it produces hydrogen peroxides. Cancer cells having modified their genetic expression because they no longer use oxygen stopped producing antioxidant enzymes. This means the cancer cells no longer have catalase. When a cancer cell encounters a peroxide it doesn’t have the catalase which healthy cells do, to neutralize it, so it dies. Healthy cells do neutralize it and it converts the peroxide into water and oxygen which is good for the cells. This process of intravenous high dose vitamin c therapy for cancer ends up being beneficial to the healthy cells and deadly to the cancer cells. It’s a perfect combination used to fight cancer. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgEvpazxx5NNmjTiqqCAwf7p655IkC5jQ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR0Y7icMoXgQZaepRkJlHzg/videos #highdosevitaminctherapy #vitaminctherapyandcancer #anoasisofhealing
The Health Benefits of Phytates & Phytic Acid

The Health Benefits of Phytates & Phytic Acid are a nutritional compound that nutrition scientists are still trying to learn more about, but appears to have health benefits. SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/user/DrJohnKiel FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/medicinelifestyle TWITTER: https://twitter.com/LifestyleMedYou Phytates are the primary form of phosphate storage in most plants, especially in seeds, but also in beans, legumes and grains. Subsequently, they become a major source of phosphorus for us as consumers of plants. Generally speaking, non-ruminants do not break phytates down well, because we lack the enzyme ‘phytase’ that specifically targets them for breakdown. When we consume them, we digest them down to other other inositol phosphates termed IP1 to IP6, and while all technically different, they are essentially metabolites of the phytic acid we have consumed. Vitamin D appears to aid in digestion, the more vitamin D available the better the absorption (vitamin D, calcium and phosphate regulation in the body all occur in concert). Historically, phytates have received a bad reputation. Although, their existence has been known for decades, they were not embraced due to their tendency to bind minerals in the gut before they are absorbed, slowing absorption and also influencing the activity of other digestive enzymes. The perception was generally speaking, the more any given mineral we absorb, the better, so if phytates inhibit absorption they must be bad, right? One thing phytates are known to do is regulate iron absorption. In folks who are at risk of iron deficiency or who are actively iron deficient, this can become problematic. However, in a western diet high in red meat, we typically consume too much iron and this has been linked to increased risk of heart attack, stroke and certain cancers. So phytic acid may actually reduce our risk of those diseases by inhibiting absorption of minerals. In many ways, phytic acid acts like a vitamin, and since it has phosphorous attached, you could say mineral too. In fact, some nutritionists would argue it should be considered an essential vitamin. So what can or does phytic acid do for us? What does the evidence say. Although highest in seeds, whole grains and beans, the content is widely varied. Some good examples include: Almonds Beans Brazil nuts Peanuts Walnuts Rice bran Wheat bran Sesame seeds

Commercial Ultra Sonic Cleaner for Making Liposomal Vitamin C

04:47
Commercial Ultra Sonic Cleaner for Making Liposomal Vitamin C It has been alleged, perhaps even proven, that vitamin C supplementation beyond the normal recommended daily allowance (RDA) can be vastly supportive of overall good health and longevity. Vitamin C also plays a major role as an anti-inflammatory. In the case of cigarette smokers, large amounts of vitamin C become depleted in the body from smoking cigarettes and this is a major reason for early aging and wrinkles in the face. Cigarette smokers could greatly benefit with additional vitamin C supplementation. In some ways extra vitamin C supplementation could provide some of the same benefits as hormone replacement therapy but at greatly reduced cost. The citrate from potassium citrate helps to breakdown and prevent stones and in the case of uric acid - you need potassium citrate because it can alkalize an overly acid situation. This helps also in the transformation from glucose metabolism to fat (ketone) metabolism. B-vitamins - are also necessary - for this use nutritional yeast. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PJ3IPMI Vitamins - I recommend raw wheat grass juice powder (lemon) For those people who have insulin resistance or diabetes, I recommend Insulin & Glucose support.
