Want to get pregnant after getting off the Depo shot for birth control? What is the best way to get pregnant after Depo? After the Depo Provera shot? Go on the Pill. I said I want to make a baby, not prevent one. The birth control pill forces your body to get back into its cycle. You'll ovulate and have periods on the Pill, while Depo usually stops it. How long do I have to be on the Pill? One or two cycles should work. Then stop the Pill and try to get pregnant. What else would work? There's the natural alternative. What's that? Have sex at least twice a week every week for a year after the shot wears off. You should naturally get pregnant at some point unless there is something wrong. You make it sound so simple and straightforward. You don't have to be straightforward. Almost any position will work. Can they reverse the shot? Nope. If you got the shot, it is in effect for the full three months. Can I get pregnant when it wears off? Theoretically, you can get pregnant the next cycle after the 90 days after the last shot. Though some women need another month or two before they start ovulating again. It's suppressing your fertility. It's a contraceptive. That is what it is supposed to do. Is there any way to speed things up or accelerate the process? You could get on a healthy diet now, start prenatal vitamins and prepare your body for pregnancy. That is prep-work but not going to result in pregnancy. Start taking Mexican yam supplements or eating lots of soy. That is said to help fertility. Or I could just start buying fertility charms. Save money and pray at the feet of various fertility gods. It'd make an interesting honeymoon for your hubby, too. Why would he go? To practice fertility rites, of course. Unless you're hoping for a virgin birth, though that's only happened once.

It sounds like you've been using the Depo shot for contraception, and you have some questions about whether or not you could be pregnant, and you're wondering if the bleeding that you're having is normal, and you also have some concerns about discharge that you've been seeing. The Depo shot is usually given every 13 weeks, and if given on schedule, then the chances of pregnancy are very low - about less than 1%. It is normal to have a little bit of unscheduled or irregular spotting and bleeding while you're getting the Depo shot. So if you're ever concerned about bleeding patterns that you're having, call your doctor. And after asking you more specific questions, they can decide if what your feeling is a normal side effect of that form of contraception, or if it warrants further investigation or treatment. Obviously no form of contraception is absolutely fail-proof, so if you ever do suspect pregnancy, then it would be best to take a home pregnancy test. And if the first one that you get is negative but you continue to have suspicions that you're pregnant, take a test every week for 3 to 4 weeks, and if they're all negative, then at that point in time, you're not pregnant. As for the discharge that you've been seeing, as long as it's milky white and it doesn't have a foul odor, then it's probably just normal discharge. But if it ever changes color, odor, or consistency, let your doctor know, because those can be signs of infection. If you have any other questions for me in the future, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/IntermountainMoms, and recommend us to your friends and family too.

Sex After Vasectomy: Timeline, Effects on Erection and Ejaculate What will sex be like? A vasectomy is a procedure performed on the vas deferens, the tubes that put sperm into your semen when you ejaculate. Getting a vasectomy means that you’ll no longer be able to get your partner pregnant. With an almost 100 percent success rate, it’s considered one of the most effective birth control methods available. You may need to abstain from sexual activity for a short time after the procedure, but there usually aren’t any long-term effects on sexual function. Keep reading for more on what to expect from sex after your vasectomy. How soon can I have sex after a vasectomy? After your vasectomy, you’ll have two incisions that need to heal. In some cases, you’ll have stitches in your scrotum. In general, you should wait until you don’t feel any pain or swelling around the surgery site before having sex. This may mean waiting a week or more after your procedure. Having sex immediately after the surgery could reopen the incisions and allow bacteria to enter the wound. This could potentially lead to infection. Condoms generally aren’t an effective means of protecting the incisions. The surgery site is typically too far above the condom opening to receive any coverage. Does sex hurt after a vasectomy? After the procedure, you may experience: mild pain soreness and bruising around your scrotum blood in your semen swelling in your scrotum and genital area blood clots in your scrotum These symptoms can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Having sex involves a lot of movement and impact. If you’re experiencing any pain, soreness, or swelling, sexual activity may increase and even prolong your discomfort. Once your symptoms subside and the incisions heal, you should be able to engage in sexual activity without irritating the surgery site. How long will I need to worry about conception? You won’t be sterile immediately. For many men, sperm is still present for a few months afterward. You’ll need to ejaculate 20 times or more before your semen is free of sperm. Your doctor will analyze your semen six to twelve weeks after your vasectomy. This exam measures the amount of sperm left in your semen. If your semen is already free of sperm, your doctor will let you know. You or your partner will need to use birth control until your doctor confirms that your semen doesn’t contain sperm. Condoms, female birth control pills, or medroxyprogesterone (Depo-Provera) shots can all help you avoid pregnancy until the effects of the vasectomy are permanent. Will a vasectomy have an impact on my sex drive? The amount of sperm in your semen doesn’t have any known connection to your sex drive. But worrying about having a baby, taking on more responsibility due to an unintended pregnancy, or spending money on birth control can all have an impact on your mental health. After a vasectomy, you may find that your confidence to engage in sexual activity increases without these concerns on your mind. Because of this, it may come as no surprise to hear that some research suggests that your sex drive can improve after getting a vasectomy. Will I be able to get an erection after a vasectomy? A vasectomy has no effect on the hormones, bodily processes, or penile structures that affect your ability to get an erection. If you didn’t have any trouble getting an erection before your vasectomy, you shouldn’t have any issues afterward. See your doctor if you notice any changes in your erections after a vasectomy. Another underlying condition or complication of the surgery might be the cause. Will ejaculation feel different after a vasectomy? Your semen quality, amount, and texture won’t change noticeably after a vasectomy. The sensation of ejaculation during an orgasm shouldn’t feel any different at all. You may find that your first few ejaculations after the procedure are uncomfortable. This discomfort will diminish over time. But if the feeling persists after a month or so, see your doctor. Though uncommon, post-vasectomy pain syndrome may result from nerve damage or sperm building up in the vas deferens. Your doctor can assess your symptoms and advise you on any next steps. The bottom line A vasectomy shouldn’t have any impact on your sexual performance, sex drive, ejaculation, or erectile function. You’ll be able to have protected sex after the surgical site heals. This typically takes one or two weeks after the procedure. You’ll be able to have unprotected sex after a semen analysis shows that there isn’t any sperm left in your semen. This is usually around 3 months after the procedure.

There are many different forms of contraception and all come with pros and cons. For example, some are more reliable than others. Some couples choose to use the pull-out method where a man chooses to withdraw just prior to ejaculation. It's all about timing. If withdrawal didn't happen totally before ejaculation some semen mind stile find its way inside the woman's reproductive tract and it definitely makes pregnancy likely especially if you're having intercourse during your most fertile time. If there is any suspicion that you're pregnant, like if you get to the point where your period should start and it doesn't, then take a pregnancy test and if it's positive, congratulations. Make your first doctor's appointment as soon as possible. If you're not wanting to get pregnant at this time it might be better to use a more reliable form of birth control. If you have more questions about those be sure to talk to your OB provider and they can talk to you about what options might be best based on your individual circumstances. Top 5 best contraception methods. The modern age in which we live has seen many women delay pregnancy for a number of reasons, such as birth control, maternal health, or the desire to leave an appropriate time interval between parents. Every woman chooses the right contraceptive method and leaves it when she is psychologically and physically ready to receive another child. Some of the younger women are looking for safe and harmless ways to prevent pregnancy until they become stable or married until they become reproductive organs. Every woman should know that her ideal contraception is different from the one that suits others. We have come to you with the best means through which you can choose the most suitable for you. 1- The coil. The coil is a small T-shaped plastic device. It is a copper-encrusted and non-hormonal type, which contains a large proportion of hormones, depending on the condition and needs of the woman. It is inserted into the uterus by the specialist and has a plastic chain attached to it. It is withdrawn when you want to remove it and its location is identified through this series. It is a method of birth control that prevents implantation of the fertilized egg in the womb. Helps prevent pregnancy during pregnancy in the womb up to 99.9% because it impedes the arrival of sperm to the uterus to fertilize the egg and the occurrence of pregnancy. It has side effects that may affect some women, including the abundance of menstrual cycle. 2- Birth control pills. Contraceptive pills are the most common contraception among women because they are multiple and have more than one concentration to suit each woman separately. But different types according to the hormone component. Choosing the best contraceptive pill is very difficult. That is why you should consult your doctor before taking it. Prevention pills are divided into two types and have the same symptoms. The severity of the symptoms of one type of another. The first type is the single-hormone pill, which contains the hormone progestin only and is very suitable for periods of breastfeeding does not affect the milk. The other type is the pills that contain two types of hormones are progestin and estrogen is the right type for every woman even if you are not pregnant or breastfeeding. The pill may have many positive symptoms you'll also like relieving pimples and menstrual bleeding. 3- condoms and female. Condoms are a powerful competitor to many other contraceptives and are easy to use because their price is not too high and is easily sold in pharmacies. It has the potential to protect against the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV. This condom is made of rubber which makes it very suitable for women who want to prevent pregnancy without taking hormones that may adversely affect their health. There is also a female condom and can be used by women without the doctor's description it has no harm or side effects, but it prevents pregnancy is a weaker proportion of condoms. The condom provides protection from pregnancy up to 79% of pregnancy, while condoms protect you from pregnancy by 82%. 4- Injecting contraception. Contraceptive injections help to reduce pregnancy safely, contributing to the release of progesterone in the blood, a hormone that is released naturally in the body of a woman during menstruation. This hormone limits the sperm's access to the fertilized egg in the womb. 5- Pull-out method. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfB0AHnnCuY Isolation or ejaculation of sperm outside the uterus is a semi-safe means that does not carry side effects of pregnancy. Its success rate is great if a man manages to control himself and if you trust him. Unfortunately, it is possible to cause pregnancy because sperm can leak during the onset of intimacy and can not be used for all men. Some men suffer from premature ejaculation, which makes them unable to control and therefore the possibility of pregnancy. It is best not to rely entirely on them. ☛ Subscribe Our Channel For More Health and Lifestyle Videos! ☛ https://www.youtube.com/Top10Lifestyle ► We hope you find this birth control contraception methods video very informative, If you like it then please share it with your friends on social media. "Withdrawal" or "the pull out method" is when a man removes his penis from the vagina before ejaculation — when semen comes out of the penis. This process requires self control and is a form of free birth control. When done correctly, it will help prevent pregnancy. To learn more about withdrawal (the pull out method), contact your local Planned Parenthood health center at http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-center/?utm_source=YouTube&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=withdrawal-pull-out-method-as-a-form-of-birth-control or our website at http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-topics/birth-control/withdrawal-pull-out-method-4218.htm?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=the-pull-out-method-(withdrawal) ©2010 Planned Parenthood® Federation of America "THE PULL OUT METHOD (WITHDRAWAL)" - PLANNED PARENTHOOD VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: Are you a guy who really knows his body and has a lot of self control?. Are you looking for birth control that is safe, always available, and free? Are you or your partner already using birth control and do you want to improve its effectiveness? Well, you might be interested in learning more about withdrawal or what some people call pulling out. Withdrawal is basically when a man pulls his penis out of his partner's body before ejaculating -- , you know, coming. If sperm don't make it to the vagina, there won't be a pregnancy. As birth control, there is nothing to buy or remember to take when you use withdrawal. It's a method you can always use. There are no side effects and it can make other forms of birth control more effective. However, using the withdrawal method effectively can require a whole lot of self control and trust. You really have to know when you're about to ejaculate and you have to be able to pull out before you do. This can be easier said than done. Think about it: you are at the height of things feeling good and it's up to you to stop what you're doing and ejaculate outside your partner's body. That's why a lot of guys pull out before they even get that close. It's also why a lot of guys don't pull out in time. Like all birth control methods, withdrawal is more effective when you do it correctly. For every one hundred (100) women whose partners use withdrawal, four (4) will become pregnancy each year if their partners always do it right. That goes up to about twenty-seven (27) out of one hundred (100) women if their partners don't always do it right. Also, withdrawal does not protect you or your partner against sexually transmitted infections. So use condoms if you're concerned about preventing STDs. If you're interested in learning more about this method, check out the info on http://www.plannedparenthood.org/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=the-pull-out-method-(withdrawal).

Ready to be pregnant now? You'll want to put some planning behind your babymaking. Follow these tips to help you conceive more quickly. Go Off Your Birth Control -- Ahead of Time Have you been popping those little white pills since high school? Take a pass on your prescription a few months before you plan to start trying, says Christopher Williams, MD, a reproductive endocrinologist in private practice in Charlottesville, Virginia, and author of The Fastest Way to Get Pregnant Naturally. That goes for other forms of hormonal birth control too. (You should stop getting Depo-Provera, injectable shots of progesterone about nine months before you want to try getting pregnant.) "After you've been using birth control for awhile, it may take your body a few cycles to start ovulating regularly and be primed for pregnancy," he says. Plus, this gives you time to track your cycle to figure out exactly when you ovulate (step #2), which is key for timing your babymaking. Just remember: Once you stop using birth control, you can get pregnant at any time! Step 2: Figure Out Your Fertile Days No matter how often you and your partner get horizontal, if you skip the key days out of the month when your egg is raring to go, you won't get pregnant. "The biggest mistake my patients make is not knowing exactly when they ovulate," says Dr. Williams. Today, most doctors recommend using ovulation predictor kits (OPKs) for a more accurate measure of ovulation. Though you can still use basal body temperature (BBT) charting, OPKs give you advance warning that your egg is about to be released, so you can plan accordingly. OPKs work by detecting a surge in luteinizing hormone (LH) in your urine, which occurs about 36 to 48 hours before you ovulate. There are two basic types of OPKs available: Those you use only around the week before you ovulate (these are better for women with very regular cycles, since you need a rough idea of when you ovulate to know when to start using the kit) and those you use every day of the month (a better choice for women with less regular cycles; they're also a bit pricier). FYI: For the most approximate way to determine when you ovulate, subtract 14 from the length of your cycle. Step 3: Have Sex Before You Ovulate Those hardy sperm can stick around in your uterus and fallopian tubes for two to three days, but your egg only lasts for 12 to 24 hours after it's released. So having sex before you ovulate boosts the chances that there'll be sperm around to greet your egg as soon as it debuts. For a typical 28-day cycle (where you ovulate on day 14), here's what you'll do: * Start having sex a few times a week as soon as your period ends. Getting busy that often ensures you won't miss your most fertile time, especially if your cycle length varies from month to month. * Make a point to have sex every other day starting around day 10. * When you have a positive result on your OPK (around day 12), have sex that day and the next two days -- these are your primo days out of the month to conceive. Step 4: Sex Session Dos What really works and what's purely the stuff of old wives' tales is somewhat debatable. Dr. Williams helps us separate myth from fact Do: * Lie on your back after sex. "Because the vagina naturally slopes downward, resting on your back after sex allows sperm to pool there, which gives them an edge in swimming toward your egg," says Dr. Williams. Should you keep your legs elevated, too? It can't hurt, he says, but it probably doesn't help any more than lying down does. * Have sex before bed. Though some sources report that sperm count is highest in the morning, the truth is that there's no optimal time of day to have sex. However, doing so before you hit the hay is an easy way to ensure you stay on your back afterward. * Keep it vanilla(ish). While there's no single sex position that's best for babymaking (or for choosing your baby's sex), stick to one where you'll be on your back when it's over. Step 5: Sex Session Don'ts Don't: * Use lube to give sperm a leg up. Some people may think that a lubricant may help sperm move more quickly, but the truth is that this can actually hinder your pregnancy efforts. Many formulas may alter the pH balance in the vagina and decrease sperm mobility. * Worry if you don't have an orgasm. A great perk of satisfying sex, sure, but don't count on your postcoital bliss to help you get pregnant more quickly. Though some speculate that orgasms boost conception by drawing more sperm into the vagina and uterus, this theory lacks scientific proof. * .

Best Birth Control Options For Women: In this video, we are going to share best birth control options for women - types of birth control methods available on the market today. Subscribe to our channel for more videos. Watch: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivQE7ZCPiAo) How to Choose a Birth Control Method There are a wide variety of birth control methods available on the market today. While this article is no replacement for a visit to your gynecologist, it can inform you on the types of birth control and help you decide on your preference before you make a visit to the doctor. Steps - Effectiveness: Most reversible types of birth control are not 100% effective, but some are more effective than others. If a pregnancy is not possible for you, you would want to choose a method with a very high effectiveness rate. On the other hand, if pregnancy is an option for you, a method that is not as effective may not be such a bad thing. - Effort: Consider how much effort you are willing to put into your birth control. Is it something you want to think about every time you have sex? Every day? Every couple weeks? Every couple years? - Reversibility: If you think you may want to have children soon, you don't want to choose a method that is not quickly or easily reversible: i.e. hormonal methods and surgical procedures. - Cost: Some methods are cheaper than others. - Protection: If you are in a long-term relationship and do not need protection from STDs or STIs, then you may choose to not use condoms. But condoms are the only form of contraception that also prevents the transmission of HIV and other STDs. - Prior experience/side effects: One method may not have worked well for you in the past, so you do not want to choose a similar method to that one. For example, hormonal birth control may have caused side effects for you, and you may want to look into other methods with less side effects. Barrier methods: diaphragms, cervical caps, male condoms, female condoms, and sponges. These methods are often used with spermicide and create a physical barrier against sperm so they cannot enter the uterus. These methods must be used each time you have sex. Overall, these methods are generally cheaper and have fewer side effects, but they do have a lower pregnancy prevention rate. Hormonal methods: IUDs, shots (Depo-Provera), patches, vaginal ring (Nuva Ring), arm implant (Implanon), and the pill. These methods regulate hormones in the female body (estrogen and progestin) in order to prevent pregnancies. Pills are usually taken every day; rings, shots, and patches every few weeks; and IUD's and implants every couple of years. They are very effective but may cause serious side effects. All natural methods: withdrawal and Feminine Awareness Method (FAM). These methods have no side effects and are free. However, the withdrawal method (removing the penis before ejaculation) requires a large amount of trust and experience and may be ineffective. The FAM method can be used successfully, but it requires a woman to chart her cycle correctly using signs from her body for at least six months. It also requires experience and trust. Natural methods are most successfully used with another form of birth control. Permanent surgical procedures: vasectomy and tubal ligation. These procedures are for couples that no longer want to have children and are 100% effective. However tubal ligation is not reversible. Most couples choose to get a vasectomy because it is a quick, fairly painless, and cheaper procedure. Emergency procedures: Plan B. Plan B is a pill that can be taken, up to five days after the failure of birth control or unprotected sex, to reduce the risk of a pregnancy occurring. It uses a large dose of hormones to have this effect and is disruptive to a woman's cycle; it's an emergency procedure that is not intended for everyday birth control. Choose a method of birth control. Also, consider using two methods in conjunction with each other. 'Two is better than one' is true in the case of birth control; it lowers the risk of pregnancy significantly. Visit your physician and get a prescription if needed. Barrier methods like condoms or sponges and all natural methods do not require a prescription, but it's wise to research them thoroughly and seek education anyway. Top 10 Precautions To Avoid Pregnancy 1. Don’t Leave The Penis Inside The Vagina After Ejaculation. The people prefer cuddling post coitus and some others tend to feel very tired post the process, and tend to become lazy, which may actually be another risk factor for pregnancy. 2. Diaphragm. The diaphragm is a cup like thin rubber dome inserted into the vagina to cover the cervix. It is used along with the spermicide to prevent the movements of sperms. 3. Depo-Provera. A hormone similar to progesterone. It is given in the form of an injection into the arms or buttocks. The injection provides protection up to 3 months and then one has to take it again. 4. Implants. **Effective ways to Prevent Pregnancy without the condom.** There are a variety of ways to decrease the risk of unwanted pregnancies without using a condom. You can speak to your family doctor to discuss (and receive prescriptions for) various medical options, or you can opt for natural methods. Keep in mind, however, that there are benefits to a condom beyond contraception - namely, the prevention of STIs (sexually transmitted infections). Also, the only 100% guaranteed way to prevent pregnancy is to abstain from sex; all other options significantly decrease your risk of pregnancy, but they are not guaranteed to prevent it. https://youtu.be/HXSKgSwsytU Take hormonal birth control pills. If you are a woman seeking to prevent pregnancy without using a condom, one of the most common options is to take hormonal birth control pills. https://plus.google.com/u/0/collection/otbgkB Have an IUD (intrauterine device) inserted? An IUD is a small, T-shaped device that is inserted through your vagina into your uterus (where it sits for the next number of years and functions as birth control). They are over 99% effective at preventing pregnancy. Try other hormonal birth control options Other hormonal options include a vaginal ring, Depo-Provera injections, and contraceptive patches. They are available via a prescription from your family doctor. Opt for sterilization. facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Tonic-Today-320772988296914/ One of the surest ways to prevent pregnancy is for either the man or the woman (or both) to be sterilized. However, it is key to know that this is a permanent procedure. It should not be undertaken unless you are absolutely sure that you do not want biological children of your own in the future. Try the "withdrawal method. One way to diminish the chances of pregnancy without using a condom is to try the withdrawal method. This method consists of the man removing his penis just prior to ejaculation so that the sperm do not have a chance to travel up the woman's vagina in a way that may lead to pregnancy. Use a barrier method such as a cervical cap or a diaphragm. Both a cervical cap and a diaphragm are devices that a woman inserts into her vagina to cover the cervix. This blocks sperm from entering the uterus. The cervical cap or diaphragm also normally contains chemicals that kill sperm, further reducing the risk of becoming pregnant. Opt for a spermicide. Spermicides are gels or foams that are inserted into the vagina, which traps and subsequently kill sperm through the use of chemicals that are toxic to sperm. They can be purchased at your local drugstore or pharmacy. The failure rate for spermicides is around 22% Use the "calendar method. Technically, there are only a few days each month when a woman can actually become pregnant. Most women have a 28-day cycle, which starts on the first day of her period. The birth control shot once in a while called Depo provera(https://www.elawoman.com/blog/birth-control/depo-provera-effective-birth-control), the Depo shot, or DMPA contains the hormone progestin. Progestin prevents you from getting pregnant by forestalling ovulation. At the point when there's no egg in the tube, pregnancy can't occur. It likewise works by making cervical mucusthicker. At the point when the bodily fluid on the cervix is thicker, the sperm can't overcome. Also, when the sperm and the egg can't get together, pregnancy can't occur. As told by Dr. Renu Jain(https://www.elawoman.com/jaipur/doctor/dr-renu-jain) of Shekhawati Hospital and Research Centre(https://www.elawoman.com/jaipur/hospital/shekhawati-hospital-and-research-centre-vidhyadhar-nagar), No. The shot is better than average at averting pregnancy, yet it won't shield you from sexually transmitted diseases. In case you're at least 2 weeks late getting your shot, your specialist or medical attendant may request that you take a pregnancy test, or instruct you to utilize crisis contraception in the event that you had vaginal sex in the past 120 hours (five days)said by Dr. Rashmi Gupta(https://www.elawoman.com/jaipur/doctor/dr-rashmi-gupta) of Vivekanand Hospital and Fertility Centre(https://www.elawoman.com/jaipur/hospital/vivekanand-hospital-and-fertility-centre-hathroi).

More on How to Get Pregnant Fast: http://www.PregnancyMiracles.us What I'm going to show you in this video is several simple sex improvements intended to make it easy for the sperm to find the egg. These improvements are based on an established principle. You may have already heard about propping the woman's hips up on pillows. This method has been proven time and time again. The reason this works so well is because when the woman's vaginal canal is in this position, the semen naturally slides toward the egg this is our goal - to do everything we physically can to get the semen as close to the egg as possible. While you may have already heard of propping the woman's hips up on pillows, you probably haven't heard of the following three improvements. These improvements are things you can do RIGHT NOW to turbocharge the process of getting pregnant and are the core information I wish to share with you today: 1. For The Man: Get the sperm as physically close to the egg as possible. The shorter the distance they have to travel, the more likely they are to arrive safely at their destination. To do this, ensure that the penis is as deep as possible and as erect as possible upon ejaculation. Getting as deep as possible gives the sperm a head start. 2 For The Couple: Use the Kama Sutra position that allows the deepest possible entry. This position involves the following: Woman on her back. Legs pulled up by her chest. Man on top leaning over her. The woman's legs can go over his shoulders or can push against his shoulders. 3 For the Woman: Prop up your hips on pillows and KEEP them propped up for at least 20 minutes after sex. Relax after the sex. The man can move to help the woman become more comfortable, but the woman should spend the entire time with her hips elevated to allow the semen to flow deeper into the cervix. I recommend using three pillows under the hips and one under your back if that results in a steeper angle. These are practical and useful techniques and they can be used RIGHT AWAY to improve your chances of getting pregnant, but I know that many couples are eager for more information and don't want to leave anything to chance, so before I go let me point out that the best resource (that I've found) for detailed information on getting pregnant fast is the guide available at this website: http://www.PregnancyMiracles.us That guide is full of reliable techniques that you can do at home and even includes ways to get pregnant faster and with more certainty, so If you desire more information about Getting Pregnant Fast, then Go There Now. How to put on a condom and how to use one is an easy process. As one of the many different types of birth control, condoms prevent against both pregnancy and STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) when used correctly. Condoms are also the most common and accessible form of birth control available to everyone without a prescription. If both you and your partner know how to put on and use a condom, it will make using a condom easier, more pleasurable, and will also make the condom more effective. To learn more about condoms, contact your local Planned Parenthood health center at http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-center/?utm_source=YouTube&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=How-to-put-on-a-condom-planned-parenthood or our website at http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-topics/birth-control/condom-10187.htm?utm_source=YouTube&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=How-to-put-on-a-condom-planned-parenthood ©2011 Planned Parenthood® Federation of America "PLANNED PARENTHOOD: HOW TO USE A CONDOM" - PLANNED PARENTHOOD VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: Using a latex condom isn't exactly rocket science. Just open the package and put it on, right? Well sure, but there are actually some things you can do to make condoms more effective at preventing pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections. First of all, condoms can get old and weak in a couple of years, but every condom package has an expiration date. If it's past expiration date, use a newer condom. The package should be sealed so that when you squeeze it you can feel a little air bubble. If the outside is sticky, damaged, or torn it could mean that the condom is damaged. And that's no good. Open the package gently with your fingers -- no scissors or a sharp object that could poke a hole through the latex. Next, you want to pinch the tip of the condom. This gets rid of any air bubble that could cause the condom to break. Before the condom touches the penis, make sure that it will roll down correctly. If you put it on the wrong way, it won't roll down easily. Roll down the condom to the base of the penis and smooth out any air bubbles, and add lube. Now, you're ready for intercourse! You don't need my help for that. After sex, hold the condom against the base of the penis while pulling out. A lot of guys will lose their erection pretty soon after ejaculating. If you wait too long, the penis will get soft and the condom could roll off or semen could spill out. Holding the condom against the penis while pulling out prevents that from happening. Take the condom off away from your partner, tie it closed and you're done. Congratulations! You just prevented a pregnancy, a sexually transmitted infection, or both. Let's talk lubrication. Some condoms come lubricated, some don't. Some people like extra lubrication. Lubrication is a good thing, but make sure it's the right kind. Oil based lubricants weaken the latex, making it more likely for the condom to break. So always use a water or silicone based lube. Not sure if your lube is condom safe? Check out the package or read the ingredient list. Allergic to latex? Use a non-latex condom. So let's review: Expiration date, check the package, open gently, pinch the tip, roll correctly, hold the base, tie it off, no oil based lube. I know it sounds like a lot, but if you don't have a lot of experience, you can always practice on yourself ahead of time. Don't have a penis? I'm sure you can find something around the house that will work. Condoms are available for free at many Planned Parenthood Health Centers. Condoms are the most common form of birth control. Condoms prevent pregnancy and STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) by creating a barrier around the penis that collects pre cum and semen when a man ejaculates. Condoms can be made of latex or plastic and can be used for vaginal sex, anal sex, and oral sex. By covering the penis and keeping semen out of the vagina, anus, or mouth, condoms also reduce the risk of STDs (sexually transmitted diseases). Condoms are cheap and sometimes even free! For more information about condoms, contact your local Planned Parenthood health center at http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-center/?utm_source=YouTube&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=Condoms-Birth-Control-and-Protection-Against-STDs-Planned-Parenthood or our website at http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-topics/birth-control/condom-10187.htm?utm_source=YouTube&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=Condoms-Birth-Control-and-Protection-Against-STDs-Planned-Parenthood ©2010 Planned Parenthood® Federation of America "PLANNED PARENTHOOD: CONDOMS" - PLANNED PARENTHOOD VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: You've probably seen one of these before. It's a latex condom, which is one of the most convenient ways to prevent both pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. Simple to use, easy to get a hold of, and very effective. The latex condom can be used by itself, or along with almost any other method of birth control. Condoms work by collecting semen when a man ejaculates -- you know, comes. This keeps sperm from entering the vagina. No sperm, no pregnancy. In fact, fewer than two (2) out of one hundred (100) women will get pregnant each year if a condom is used correctly each time they have sex. That goes up to about fifteen (15) out of one hundred (100) women if a condom is not used correctly. That's why it's really important to know how to store, put on, and remove a condom. Practice makes perfect. Condoms can prevent sexually transmitted infections by creating a physical barrier around the penis. This barrier limits skin to skin contact and stops the exchange of body fluids that can carry infections. Now, condoms can be used for vaginal, oral, and anal sex. And they're really easy to stock up on! Drug stores, super markets, convenient stores, bathroom vending machines -- condoms are everywhere! You don't have to talk with a doctor or get a prescription. They're usually less than a buck or two each, and you can even get them for free at many schools, health centers, and clinics. If you want to learn more about condoms, you should check out http://www.plannedparenthood.org/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=Planned-Parenthood%3A-Condoms. There's tons of facts, tips, and even information on how to use a condom correctly.

Your body is confusing, especially during puberty. You don't need to worry about whether your breasts, penis, vagina, or any other parts of your body are normal. Each person's body is different -- and different is normal. For more information about your changing body and genitals, please visit: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/info-for-teens/our-bodies-33795.htm?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=different-is-normal ©2011 Planned Parenthood® Federation of America "DIFFERENT IS NORMAL" - PLANNED PARENTHOOD VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: As a teenager, you worry about a lot of things: homework, acne, your profile picture. One thing you shouldn't be worried about is whether or not your breasts, penis, or vulva are normal, but lots of kids do. So, are they normal? Will they be when you're all grown up? Short answer: yes. Long answer: well, when it comes to our bodies, being different is normal. You already know that our bodies are just like snowflakes, no two are alike. Our faces are all made of the same parts: eyes, ears, nose, mouth, but they all look completely different. If that goes for your face, then why not the rest of your body? The reality is that normal is different. It's all over the place. Let's start with the guys. Here's a flaccid, or soft, adult penis. All penises have the same parts: glans, shaft, urethra, and all have testicles hanging below. Here's one that's erect, or hard. Some have foreskins, some are circumcised and have no foreskin. Some are shorter, some are thicker, some are thinner, some curve when they're erect. All are normal. Same goes for girls. Each vulva has an inner labia, outer labia, clitoris, opening to the vagina, urethra, and clitoral hood. Even with the same parts, each adult vulva looks completely different. Some have bigger openings in the vagina, some have bigger clitorises that stick out, some have wide outer labia, some have bigger inner labia that stick out, and often the labia in the pair don't match each other. All are normal. And it's no different with adult breasts either. Big, small, darker areolas, longer nipples, hair around the nipple, and a lot of the time the left and right breasts won't match either. All are normal. So remember, when it comes to our faces, our hands, and yes, our genitals, different is normal. So you can officially stop worrying about your vulva, breasts, or penis. On the other hand, about that profile picture -- sorry, you're on your own there.

A criticism however needs to be brought to these two aforementioned books. They're built on the premise that humanity is "fallen" and that the trajectory of mankind is to be redeemed back into its "original innocence." Once having entered this mindset of original innocence harmonious relationships follow. And I agree... it's definitely a good mindset to have, but it's not an innocence we lost from the "Fall" of Adam and Eve. I believe there was no "Fall", and the only innocence we're returning to is the innocence we felt as children. Evolutionary biology is showing us that we are born from something more complex than the snap of God's fingers, and whatever our genesis, it includes severe conflict and competition. And this competition goes deep into our beings. For example, the book Sperm Wars by Robin Baker shows that a good portion of the sperm in a man's ejaculate is designed to fight and kill-off sperm from another male in the woman's cervix. Reflection on this biological fact unwinds for me so much Christian theology, especially the premise referenced above in JP2's two books. They're built on Jesus words in Mathew 19:8... that before "the fall" man and woman (Adam and Eve) were one in marriage, and that it was a result of the fall we need to return to how it was "in the beginning." Jesus is the supposed Redeemer who will deliver us to the harmony of how it was "in the beginning," but we know that the beginning was an awful place. Our physical bodies tell us that millions of years ago reproduction was a gang bang nightmare where after the men nearly fought to the death over who'd have the woman first, even then their sperm had to fight like gladiators. Is this God's design from 6000 years ago? I don't think so. And it is because I can't reconcile traditional Catholic theology with science and its reasonable methods my conscience and prayer-life are being pushed to find a new understanding. Today I argue that the Christian mission is not to have us return to some mythical Eden, but to have us evolve into our potential... to go where we have never been before. It's no longer Jesus as savior delivering us back to Eden's innocence, but Jesus as older, wiser friend inviting us over for dinner, and in that conversation, we discover for ourselves those areas that need maturity and purity. It's a new Christology, and maybe it converts much of Jesus into allegory, but it connects the reality of evolutionary science with our human experience... and by that, I mean that deep quiet desire we all have to want to be more than we are and to live up to our potential. Jesus lived up to his potential, and modeling our lives after his brings out the virtues, which are universal and are not exclusive to any religion. [Side note: it just occurred to me that the virtues are nothing more than God's personality traits. This might be worthy of meditation.] As a complement to this way of looking at life, I believe one's own personal physical nature is to be in harmony with the mind and spirit. Medicines are important in this as they help heal us when we're sick, but the contraceptive pill is not a medicine. It is not fixing something that is broken, it is breaking something that is working just fine (i.e., female fertility). This is why I'm opposed to it, and I think there's a better way for couples to manage their reproduction. And, I think people should know the facts and risks regarding how "The Pill" may cause embryonic abortions. This alone should bother a lot of Christians, especially those precious few who still believe that although we are "fallen," that's not an excuse to be passive, but that we still have an obligation to try to live up to our potential.

Bal-Can-Can (Macedonian: Бал-Кан-Кан, transliterated Bal-Kan-Kan) is a 2005 Macedonian--Italian joint production film about a deserter who travels throughout the Balkans as a political immigrant in search of his dead mother-in-law who is wrapped in a carpet.
