We follow professional players and teams every day, but we don't know anything about their lives behind the scenes. Only close people get to see them grow up, improve their talent, experience emotions of victories and defeats, work and practice hard towards their goals. In the new Natus Vincere documentary "Role: esports relative", the families of Born to Win help you get a glimpse into the life of the players outside of esports. ======================================== Watch more videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/natusvinceretv/videos The Official Website: http://navi.gg Find us in social networks: http://facebook.com/natusvincere http://twitter.com/natusvincere http://vk.com/natus.vincere http://t.me/natus_vincere_official http://steamcommunity.com/groups/Natus-Vincere Our Dota2 roster (inactive): Vladislav "Crystallize" Krystanek Danil "Dendi" Ishutin Viktor "GeneRaL" Nigrini Ilya "Lil" Ilyuk Fedor "Velheor" Rusikhin Music provided by EpidemicSound.com Subscribe to Na`Vi YouTube channel if you like our videos: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=natusvinceretv

What corporate structures, rules, and practices would be most conducive for long-term value creation? Some argue that shareholder pressures make boards and managers focus excessively on the short-term, while others argue that insulating boards and managers from such pressures would be detrimental. The ongoing debate involves a wide range of topics including control contests, dual-class structures, antitakeover arrangements, private equity, executive pay design, and short-termism. Harvard Law School Professor Lucian Bebchuk LL.M. ‘80 S.J.D. ‘84 hosted a panel with several capital market participants with different perspectives. Their talk was part of the HLS in the World bicentennial summit which took place at Harvard Law School on Friday, October 27, 2017. Read more: http://200.hls.harvard.edu/

In common law legal systems, a trust is a relationship whereby property is held by one party for the benefit of another. A trust is created by a settlor, who transfers some or all of his or her property to a trustee. The trustee holds that property for the trust's beneficiaries. Trusts have existed since Roman times and have become one of the most important innovations in property law. An owner placing property into trust turns over part of his or her bundle of rights to the trustee, separating the property's legal ownership and control from its equitable ownership and benefits. This may be done for tax reasons or to control the property and its benefits if the settlor is absent, incapacitated, or dead. Trusts are frequently created in wills, defining how money and property will be handled for children or other beneficiaries. This video is targeted to blind users. http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org TO READ OR POST COMMENTS ON THIS VIDEO, PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE ARTICLE http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/alaskan-restaurant-owner-shows-profound-dedication-in-the-fight-to-stop-climate-engineering/ Steven Chamberlain of Nikiski, Alaska is an exceptional example of assertive and constructive activism in the battle to expose and halt global climate engineering. Before there can be any chance of stopping global geoengineering programs, a critical mass of awareness must be reached with the population at large. Steven owns “Charlies Pizza” in Nikiski, his constant efforts to start “spot fires” of climate engineering awareness with his customers is effective and inspiring. When people wake up to the geoengineering nightmare, their first question is often “what can I do to help stop this”. In this 14 minute video, Steven covers the multitude of constructive actions he is implementing in this extremely important battle to expose and stop climate engineering. I had the pleasure of meeting Steven when he took the time and trouble to travel all the way to Northern California in order to connect and network with other activists at the presentation of “Climate Engineering, A Clear And Present Danger” in November of 2014. My most sincere gratitude goes out to Steven Chamberlain and to every single activist that is giving their all to this critical fight regardless of the resistance many show to hearing this dire truth. We are in a fight for life, every day matters in this critical battle. Let's all continue to make our voices heard until the climate engineering insanity is brought to light and to a halt.

The New Financial Geopolitics: How long can the US keep going as the Lender, Leader, and Reserve Asset of Last Resort? Panel 5: What Happens to Post-Cold War Geopolitics in a World of ‘Long and Low.’ If interest and inflation rates are likely to remain long and low for the foreseeable future, what impact will this have on the Dollar-Centered order? What other sources of volatility are out there to upset the applecart? How does power politics get redrawn in such a world? Panelists: Adam Tooze (Columbia), Jan Fitchner (University of Amsterdam), Herman Schwartz (University of Virginia), Jonathan Kirshner (Cornell University) ______________________________ The current global financial order, which was placed into sharp focus by the swap lines initiated by the US Federal Reserve during the 2008 financial crisis, is an American order. Despite generating trillions of debt and demonstrating a truly dysfunctional politics, the US continues to be the leader, lender, and the preferred asset issuer of last resort for the global economy. But how long can this state of affairs continue? One school of thought suggests that it can continue indefinitely, given the lack of alternative safe assets, the depth and liquidity of US markets, and the desire of foreign wealth holders to buy safety in the form of US assets. And yet things continue until they don’t. Due either to its own domestic dysfunctions, or to its international entanglements, the ‘barbelling’ of risk that US has been able to play, whereby US investments earn a higher risk premium abroad while foreign investors hold US assets as security for a lesser return may come to an abrupt end sooner than many commentators think. If the US suffers real capital losses on its assets abroad, if the global economy continues ‘long and low’ into negative territory, of if other major players grow tired of America’s dysfunctions, then the dollar order may become less attractive over time, prompting the rise of alternative assets and new institutional arrangements. This conference seeks to address these topics by answering three questions. First, how stable, if not “anti-fragile’ to use Nassim Taleb’s term of art, is the US order? Second, will the ongoing political crisis and economic recession in the Eurozone, and geopolitical tensions in East Asia, prolong or threaten the US order? Third, is there a new geopolitics emerging underneath this financial system, and if so, what does it look like?

The President explains his most recent decisions on the auto industry: "While many stakeholders made sacrifices and worked constructively, I have to tell you some did not. In particular, a group of investment firms and hedge funds decided to hold out for the prospect of an unjustified taxpayer-funded bailout. They were hoping that everybody else would make sacrifices, and they would have to make none. Some demanded twice the return that other lenders were getting. I don't stand with them. I stand with Chrysler's employees and their families and communities. I stand with Chrysler's management, its dealers, and its suppliers. I stand with the millions of Americans who own and want to buy Chrysler cars. I don't stand with those who held out when everybody else is making sacrifices. And that's why I'm supporting Chrysler's plans to use our bankruptcy laws to clear away its remaining obligations so the company can get back on its feet and onto a path of success." (public domain)

If you like this movie and our channel, please subscribe: https://goo.gl/0qDmXe | "My Man Godfrey" is an American screwball comedy film directed by Gregory La Cava. The screenplay was written by Morrie Ryskind, with uncredited contributions by La Cava, based on "1011 Fifth", a short novel by Eric Hatch. The story concerns a socialite who hires a derelict to be her family's butler, only to fall in love with him, much to his dismay. During the Great Depression, Godfrey "Smith" (William Powell) is living alongside other men down on their luck at the city dump. One night, spoiled socialite Cornelia Bullock (Gail Patrick) offers him five dollars to be her "forgotten man" for a scavenger hunt. Annoyed, he advances on her, causing her to retreat and fall on a pile of ashes. She leaves in a fury, much to the glee of her younger sister, Irene (Carole Lombard). After talking with her, Godfrey finds her to be kind, if a bit scatter-brained. He offers to go with Irene to help her beat Cornelia. In the ballroom of the Waldorf-Ritz Hotel, Irene's long-suffering businessman father, Alexander Bullock (Eugene Pallette), waits resignedly as his ditsy wife, Angelica (Alice Brady), and her mooching "protégé" Carlo (Mischa Auer) play the frivolous game. Godfrey arrives and is "authenticated" by the scavenger hunt judge as a "forgotten man". He then addresses the idle rich, expressing his contempt for their antics. Irene is apologetic and offers him a job as the family butler, which he gratefully accepts. The next morning, Godfrey is shown what to do by the sardonic, wise-cracking maid, Molly (Jean Dixon), the only servant who has been able to put up with the antics of the family. She warns him that he is just the latest in a long line of butlers. Only slightly daunted, he proves to be surprisingly competent, although Cornelia still holds a sizeable grudge. On the other hand, Irene considers Godfrey to be her protégé, and is thrilled by his success. A complication arises when a guest, Tommy Gray (Alan Mowbray), greets Godfrey familiarly as an old friend. Godfrey quickly ad-libs that he was Tommy's valet at school. Tommy plays along, mentioning Godfrey's non-existent wife and five children. Dismayed, Irene impulsively announces her engagement to the surprised Charlie Van Rumple (Grady Sutton), but she soon breaks down in tears and flees after being politely congratulated by Godfrey. Over lunch the next day, Tommy is curious to know what one of the elite "Parkes of Boston" is doing as a servant. Godfrey explains that a broken love affair had left him considering suicide, but the optimistic, undaunted attitude of the men living at the dump rekindled his spirit. Meanwhile, when everything she does to make Godfrey's life miserable fails, Cornelia sneaks into his room and plants her pearl necklace under his mattress. She then calls the police to report her "missing" jewelry. To Cornelia's surprise, the pearls do not turn up, even when she suggests they check Godfrey's bed. Mr. Bullock realizes his daughter has orchestrated the whole thing and sees the policemen out. The Bullocks then send their daughters off to Europe to get Irene away from Godfrey. When they return, Cornelia implies that she intends to seduce Godfrey. Worried, Irene stages a fainting spell and falls into Godfrey's arms. He carries her to her bed, but while searching for smelling salts, he realizes she's faking when he sees her (in a mirror) sit up briefly. In revenge, he puts her in the shower and turns on the cold water full blast. Far from quenching her attraction, this merely confirms her hopes: "Oh Godfrey, now I know you love me...You do or you wouldn't have lost your temper." When confronted by the rest of the family, Godfrey quits. But Mr. Bullock has more pressing concerns... --- Directed and produced by Gregory La Cava, written by Eric Hatch, Morrie Ryskind and Gregory LaCava, starring William Powell as Godfrey Park, Carole Lombard as Irene Bullock, Alice Brady as Angelica Bullock, Gail Patrick as Cornelia Bullock, Eugene Pallette as Alexander Bullock, Jean Dixon as Molly, Alan Mowbray as Tommy Gray, Mischa Auer as Carlo, Pat Flaherty as Mike Flaherty, Robert Light as Faithful George and Grady Sutton as Charlie Van Rumple. --- Source: "My Man Godfrey" Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia. This constitutes a 'fair use' of any such copyrighted material as provided for in Title 17 U.S.C. section 107 of the US Copyright Law. From one day to the next, the debate over the nation's debt ceiling gets more complicated. The White House is now floating the idea of cutting social security as part of their comprise with Republicans. Here's how it breaks down. Social Security would be cut by $112 billion over the next 10 years. The plan would raise taxes by $60 billion and it would cut pension and veterans' disability payments by $24 billion. Those estimates come from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. I talked with Senator Sherrod Brown Thursday, who told me he is not interested in cutting Social Security. "I will not vote to raise the Social Security retirement age. There are too many construction workers and nurses and people looking on factory floors who's bodies can't sustain working until they're 70." says Sen. Brown. The President has been meeting with lawmakers and called their latest meetings "constructive" and "frank," though he said they remain "far apart on a wide range of issues." Where they are furthest apart the issue of taxes. Most Republicans are saying no tax increases, period. Democrats are demanding some cuts at a minimum. Senators Brown and Rob Portman both spoke out about that Thursday. "Democrats want to see some of these tax loopholes closed for wall street and for oil companies." says Brown. "When you tax something people do less of it that's why we tax smoking so if you want economic growth the last thing we should do is raise taxes on working, raise taxes on savings, raise taxes on investments." says Sen. Portman. Here's what you need to know. Republicans and Democrats are still very far apart on this issue, but even as they are, time is short. Some lawmakers are now saying forget the August 2nd deadline. Because in the time it will take to read through the bills and turn them into law, if a vote doesn't happen by Monday, they say there won't be a vote in time. And that is Reality Check. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-07-07/social-security-cuts-weighed-by-lawmakers-under-change-in-inflation-gauge.html

With this layoff now on my record, does that mean my past years of employment no longer count?” ► 11:31 – Employment Law Red Flags • 11:35 - Despite many stellar performance reviews, your employer puts you on a performance improvement plan. • 12:23 – Your employer gives you half of your coworker’s workload, and moves you to an office much further away. • 13:02 – After a few years on the job, your employer asks you to sign a new employment agreement. • 13:49 – You’ve asked your employer – twice – to investigate sexual harassment by a co-worker, but nothing has been done about it yet. • 14:47 - Your employer says you weren’t “the right fit” for the job, and fires you for cause. • 16:07 – You are laid off after undergoing major surgery, despite the boss promising full-time work upon your return. ► 18:38 – Lior and John outline the importance of The Severance Pay Calculator in determining the amount of severance you are owed upon termination. ► 19:58 – After 17 years at the company, a senior manager is given 44 weeks of working notice, as his employer wants to phase out his position. He didn't sign anything regarding working notice. A few weeks into the arrangement, his employer decided to fire him. He wonders if the Ministry of Labour can help, but Lior explains why the ministry's assistance would be detrimental. ► 22:14 – I've been teaching a class for 9 years as an Independent Contractor, according to the school. However, I've read online that if I use their equipment, I should be considered an employee. Is that correct? ► 25:26 – A caller to The Employment Hour radio show explained that he was recruited to work as a store manager. Despite achieving great results in his close to two years at the store, he was let go without cause, due to “allegations”. He was offered 2 weeks’ pay plus vacation time. Was he offered a fair amount? ► 26:23 – If you were recruited from another job, can the previous length of service be factored into severance pay? ► 27:36 – Geeta was just let go from her sales job after 9 years. Her employer says she is not owed any severance because she "hasn’t been working that hard lately." Geeta’s brother is telling her to call the Ministry of Labour rather than a lawyer. He says it will take years for a lawyer to finish her case. "Vested Interest" Is an art installation created by the Brain Farm, a Niagara marketing agency run by two artists, Kim Van Stygeren and Luke Gillett. It is a mixed media piece being installed in St Catharines' beautiful old Courthouse's Flexspace that is used by many of Niagara's premiere arts organizations, including the Niagara Regional Musician's Association, Essential Collective Theatre and Niagara Dance Company. The installation is made up of over 60 articles of white clothing collected from people across Niagara Region together with clothing from 2 mayors, councilors, business people, factory workers and art enthusiasts. What the arts all require to exist is an audience and these reconstructed pieces of white clothes represent the ghosted memory of the audience. After every performance or every artwork viewed, all one takes away from it is a memory. Each article of clothing was donated along with a memory to complete the cycle of creating art and sharing memories. The collection of clothing includes many valuable and important items including 3 wedding dresses, many tuxedo shirts, a corset from the Shaw Festival, The Niagara Symphony Orchestra's conductor's first white tuxedo and a pair of army issued WW2 long johns.

A fiduciary is a legal or ethical relationship of trust between two or more parties. Typically, a fiduciary prudently takes care of money for another person. One party, for example a corporate trust company or the trust department of a bank, acts in a fiduciary capacity to the other one, who for example has entrusted funds to the fiduciary for safekeeping or investment. Likewise, asset managers—including managers of pension plans, endowments and other tax-exempt assets—are considered fiduciaries under applicable statutes and laws. In a fiduciary relationship, one person, in a position of vulnerability, justifiably vests confidence, good faith, reliance, and trust in another whose aid, advice or protection is sought in some matter. In such a relation good conscience requires the fiduciary to act at all times for the sole benefit and interest of the one who trusts. A fiduciary is someone who has undertaken to act for and on behalf of another in a particular matter in circumstances which give rise to a relationship of trust and confidence. This is the 2018 Crown Lecture in Ethics, “Politics and Our Potential: Can Congress Rise to Meet Its Obligation to Govern?” Former U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe is the first and only woman to have served in both houses of a state legislature, and then both chambers of Congress. Snowe, a Republican, won the Maine U.S. Senate seat three times, serving from 1995 to 2013. Her solidly centrist views and efforts to build bipartisan consensus gave her a national reputation as one of Congress’ leading moderate policymakers. Event moderator: Frederick “Fritz” Mayer, professor of public policy and director of POLIS: The Center for Political Leadership, Innovation, and Service. The Crown Lecture in Ethics is made possible by a gift from Lester Crown and the Crown family and its purpose is to bring speakers to campus to discuss compelling ethical issues in the fields of art, science, medicine, business and policy. The lecture is presented by the Sanford School of Public Policy and co-sponsored by POLIS. It was held March 26, 2018. This event is part of the yearlong centennial celebration of the late Terry Sanford, Duke’s president from 1970-1985.

APRA launches scathing criticism of Commonwealth Bank: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-05-01/cba-forced-to-put-aside-a-billion-dollars-extra-by-apra/9713646. Thanks for watching, subscribe for more videos. CBA forced to put aside $1 billion extra by bank regulator APRA By senior business correspondent Peter Ryan The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority has slammed the Commonwealth Bank over events leading to allegations that it broke anti-money laundering and counter terrorism financing laws on almost 54,000 occasions. In its final report into governance, accountability and culture at the CBA, APRA said the bank's "continued financial success dulled the senses of the institution".The report found the CBA had a "widespread sense of complacency, a reactive stance in dealing with risks, being insular and not learning from experience and mistakes."APRA also pointed to an "overly-collegial and collaborative working environment" which lessened the opportunity for constructive criticism. While emphasising the soundness of CBA's financial position, Treasurer Scott Morrison said the APRA report was a damning rap sheet and called it "required reading" for every financial institution in Australia."It found there was a complacent culture, dismissive of regulators, an ineffective board that lacked zeal and failed to provide oversight, a lack of accountability and ownership of key risks by senior executives, a remuneration framework that had no bite and they were reactive, slow and had under-resourced systems and processes internally," he told reporters.Mr Morrison warned board directors generally that they need to "step up", saying it is a very serious job, not a retirement job."This should be a wake-up call for every board member in the country, particularly those who are the custodians of the savings shareholdings of millions of Australians, they expected better those shareholders of board members and they have been let down, terribly," Mr Morrison said.Responding to APRA's report, the CBA has acknowledged the regulator's concerns and has offered an enforceable undertaking in response to the report. In what will be criticised as a slap on the wrist rather than a penalty, APRA will also add $1 billion to the CBA's minimum capital requirement. The APRA inquiry was launched on August 28 after the Commonwealth Bank was accused by the financial intelligence agency of breaching anti money laundering and counter terrorism financing laws on 53,700 occasions. The APRA panel was chaired by former APRA chairman John Laker, who examined CBA's culture with former ACCC chairman Graeme Samuel and company director Jillian Broadbent. The Commonwealth Bank is briefing investors later this morning.Follow Peter Ryan on Twitter @peter_f_ryan.

Environmental, social and governance (ESG) refers to the three main areas of concern that have developed as central factors in measuring the sustainability and ethical impact of an investment in a company or business. Within these areas are a broad set of concerns increasingly included in the non-financial factors that figure in the valuation of equity, real-estate, corporations and fixed-income investments. ESG is the catch-all term for the criteria used in what has become known as socially responsible investing. Socially responsible investing, including ESG, is among several related concepts and approaches that influence and, in some cases govern, how asset managers invest portfolios. The world needs more energy to provide economic and social benefits to a growing population. Yet according to the Paris Agreement, it must also limit the carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere to avoid the worst effects of climate change. • Are there ways to reconcile those imperatives? • If so, what are their implications for transportation, building construction, electric-power utilities and heavy industry—and the government agencies that regulate them? • Can scientific research and technology development come to the rescue? • And what role does big oil have in all this? Those questions have to be definitively answered—well within the lifetime of “Generation Z” university students. But the answers are not simple. They will only emerge after thoughtful debate and discussion—more than can be fit in a Twitter post or a Facebook video.

Today in Question Period I demanded that the Finance Minister come clean with Canadians about his offshore private corporation. While Trudeau and Morneau hide their family fortunes, the Liberals hike taxes on hardworking local business operators. Canadians deserve better from their government. Despite what Justin Trudeau thinks, local business operators are not tax cheats. Canada’s Conservatives will continue to stand up for local business, the communities they support, and the jobs they create.

Wealthy nations have benefitted from access to cheap energy, which fueled the industrial revolution and lifted populations into the middle class and beyond. That development has come at an environmental cost, and now the world’s emerging economies are facing a difficult question: can they lift their own people out of poverty quickly, without relying heavily on fossil fuels? The West must face another question: is it ethical to ask these countries to leapfrog to clean energy, if it means slowing life-saving economic growth? This debate will highlight the trade-offs—or false choices—between fostering economic growth in emerging economies, with the imperative to transition to a cleaner-energy future.
