After 2 weeks on antibiotics and steroids: planning the next step necessary

04:19
This video was made just a few days ago. I am pretty much pain free now and I'm able to see and make-out what objects are when I look at them. Working closely with the doctors at the Shiley Institute , everyday my hopes of regaining full eyesight becomes stronger. This video recorded a very important part of my recovery. This is when I learn that I will be facing surgery. I'm excited to know that there's a solution but I'm also nervous about the procedure and what that means for me afterward (upkeep, medical, my career as a hairstylist, restrictions, etc.). My understanding is that recovering from this is going to be a lot of work, but I'm going to do whatever it takes to fully recover.

A Cute Keloid Treated with Cryoshape

03:08
Keloids occur most often on the earlobes, the chest, back, and upper arms. It is when scar tissue from an episode of "trauma" gets hyperexcited and grows beyond the bounds of the original wound. Usually a person knows when their keloid is active because it itches or is painful Treatment is difficult and recurrence is common. Simply excising a keloid is not usually recommended because "trauma" itself is definitely a causative factor In this case, I use a cryoshape cannula connected to liquid nitrogen. When this cannula is inserted into the center of a keloid it freezes the keloid from the inside out. Essentially, inducing frostbite, in the attempt to destroy the cells comprising the keloid. This is a painless procedure and after treatment the keloid will turn black or at least swell and shrivel and shrink, which will take a few weeks. Hopefully it will then fall off and not grow back. However, sometimes more than one treatment is required. I often pair this cryoshape treatment with injections of corticosteroid. This is done to try to suppress the keloid cells from growing. This can take multiple treatments but in combination with cryoshape is pretty effective In removing these types of keloids, particularly the type that grow from the ear. In this vid I also mention "CNH" which stands for Chondrodermatitis Nodularis Helices which is a benign but painful type of growth on the ear that is caused but chronic pressure placed on a particular part of the ear. For example sleeping on one side and pushing on a particular area of the ear while lying down, or even wearing a helmet or earphones that consistently press on a part of the ear-- this pressure blocks blood flow to a part of the ear and causes some irritation or even localized destruction of cartilage creating a painful bump. Treatment is preventing the pressure that causes CNH. Do you know there are special pillow you can buy that have holes in them so when you sleep your ear fits in this hole so that there is no pressure? Norflox-TZ Tablet नॉरफ्लॉक्स टीज़ेड टैबलेट uses side effects dosage precaution how to use & review NORFLOX-TZ Tablets (Norfloxacin , Tinidazole , Lactic acid bacillus) NORFLOX-TZ Each Film coated Tablet contains Norfloxacin IP......400 mg Tinidazole IP......600 mg Lactic Acid Bacillus......120 x 106 spores (Appropriate overages added) Colours :Titanium Dioxide and Lake Quinoline Yellow WS Norfloxacin inhibits bacterial deoxyribonucleic acid synthesis and is bactericidal. At the molecular level, three specific events are attributed to norfloxacin in Escherichia coli cells Norfloxacin has been shown to be active against most strains of the following microorganisms both in vitro and in clinical infections: Gram-positive Aerobes Enterococcus faecalis Staphylococcus aureus Staphylococcus epidermidis Staphylococcus saprophyticus Streptococcus agalactiae Gram-negative Aerobes Citrobacterfreundii Enterobacteraerogenes Enterobacter cloacae Escherichia coli Klebsiellapneumoniae Neisseria gonorrhoeae Proteus mirabilis Proteus vulgaris Pseudomonas aeruginosa Serratiamarcescens Tinidazole Tinidazole is an antiprotozoal, antibacterial agent. The nitro-group of tinidazole is reduced by cell extracts of Trichomonas. The free nitro-radical generated as a result of this reduction may be responsible for the antiprotozoal activity. Indications Treatment of diarrhea and dysentery of amoebic, bacterial or mixed origins. Dosage and Administration The dosage is one tablet twice daily for 5 days. Contraindications In patients hypersensitive to quinolone or to tinidazole or any other excipient History of hypersensitivity, tendinitis, or tendon rupture associated with the use of norfloxacin or any member of the quinolone group of antimicrobial agents Tinidazole should be avoided in patients with organic neurological disorders. Tinidazole is contraindicated in patients having, or with a history of, blood dyscrasia, although no persistent haematological abnormalities have been noted in clinical or animal studies. Warnings and Precautions Tendinopathy and Tendon Rupture Fluoroquinolones, including norfloxacin, are associated with an increased risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture in all ages. This adverse reaction most frequently involves the Achilles' tendon, and rupture of the Achilles' tendon may require surgical repair. Tendinitis and tendon rupture in the rotator cuff (the shoulder), the hand, the biceps, the thumb, and other tendon sites have also been reported. The risk of developing fluoroquinolone-associated tendinitis and tendon rupture is further increased in older patients, usually over 60 years of age, in patients taking corticosteroid drugs, and in patients with kidney, heart or lung transplants. Factors, in addition to age and corticosteroid use, that may independently increase the risk of tendon rupture include strenuous physical activity, renal failure, and previous tendon disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis. Exacerbation of Myasthenia Gravis Fluoroquinolones, including norfloxacin, have neuromuscular blocking activity and may exacerbate muscle weakness in persons with myasthenia gravis. Safety in Children and Adolescents, and during Pregnancy and Lactation The safety and efficacy of oral norfloxacin in paediatric patients, adolescents (below the age of 18 years), pregnant women, and nursing mothers have not been established. The oral administration of single doses of norfloxacin, six times the recommended human clinical dose (on an mg/kg basis), caused lameness in immature dogs. Histologic examination of the weight-bearing joints of these dogs revealed permanent lesions of the cartilage. Other quinolones also produced erosions of the cartilage in weight-bearing joints and other signs of arthropathy in immature animals of various species. #onlinemedicine,#medicine,#ayurveda,#ayurved ,#Ayurvedic

Why Antibiotics and Steroids Are Not Effective Cure For Angular Cheilitis

01:37
► http://fastcureangularcheilitis.tamoev.com ◄ THE MOST EFFECTIVE AND PROVEN METHOD TO CURE ANGULAR CHEILITIS THAT EXISTS AND REALLY WORKS!!! Why Antibiotics and Steroids Are Not Effective Cure For Angular Cheilitis A cure for angular cheilitis is urgently needed by many who suffer from this skin disease. Before it can be found however, we need to identify factors of the condition and what causes it. This will provide us with a better understanding and a much effective and efficient treatment. Facial folds, wrinkles and creases are the reason this skin condition is able to develop and spread in the area of the mouth, combined with the moisture that is also present. Folds and creases may have developed naturally with age but they can also occur based on the way we sleep, smile, speak and eat. Excessive skin folds can be a result of weight gain or loss and can even be related to the alignment of our teeth and the need to wear braces or dentures. Due to the number of elderly people requiring dentures, there has been a high occurrence of angular cheilitis in this age group. Angular chelitis may also be known as Perleche and exists when there are fungal bacteria present around the area of the lips and mouth. Bacteria can be difficult to treat or overcome with regular antibiotics and even hydrocortisone products, due to its ever-changing nature. There are many medications that are effective in treating bacterial or fungal infections however they are usually only effective for short time. The next time the problem recurs you will find that the type of bacteria or fungi has adapted and this is why it is a better idea to find a natural cure for angular cheilitis that doesn't involve the use of prescription or over the counter medications. Finding a cure for angular cheilitis is made easier when we realize that bacteria cannot survive without moisture and will therefore only be effective once we have provided an environment free of moisture. The key here is to find a method that won't dry the skin out completely and leave it flaky or cracked. The area of the mouth is naturally moist and this is why you need to keep on top of it in an attempt to limit the occurrence of this skin infection. Many people prefer home remedies and recipes, using natural ingredients that you may already have. Using simple, easy to use remedy has allowed many to find their own cure for angular cheilitis and they have also been able to use these methods to prevent it from recurring as well. Pain and Nerve Injury Associated With Medtronic Infuse -- Attorney Stephanie Herschaft Explains

01:19
http://www.yourlawyer.com/topics/overview/Medtronic-Infuse-Bone-Growth-Off-Label-Use-Side-Effects-Severe-Pain-Lawsuit Attorney Stephanie Herschaft of Parker Waichman talks about the dangers of a medical device that was used incorrectly on many patients. Every medical product and device is designed to do certain things for the health of a patient. But sometimes the device or product is used in an off label way which is causing harm. For example, Medtronic Infuse is a bone graft device designed for the use in spine surgery. However, it has a very specific use and can only be used in select surgeries. But Medtronic promotes the product as doing something else and so doctors began using it this way and it's resulting in side effects. Because of the off label use, these effects are sometimes not clearly given as a warning to patients. In the case of Medtronic Infuse, patients were suffering from terrible hip and joint pain, nerve damage, difficulty walking, and the development of excessive or abnormal bone growth. Watch this video now to learn more. To learn more about defective medical products, I encourage you to watch the video above and to explore our educational website at http://www.yourlawyer.com/topics/overview/Medtronic-Infuse-Bone-Growth-Off-Label-Use-Side-Effects-Severe-Pain-Lawsuit. How To Take Finasteride (Propecia) Without Side Effects

07:02
One of the best FDA-approved hair loss medications on the market to slow down male pattern baldness is finasteride, also known as Propecia. Finasteride works by blocking testosterone from converting into DHT. Studies show that up to 86% of people using 1mg of finasteride daily did not experience any more hair loss since the start of the prescription. Despite the effectiveness of finasteride, many people over the years have complained of numerous side effects, ranging from sexual problems such as erectile dysfunction and low libido to even depression. Finasteride is such a great drug for balding males but many have been turned off by it’s many side effects. I’ve been taking finasteride since my first hair transplant in Nov. 2016 and have yet to have any side effects. In this video, I will try to explain how you can take finasteride without having any side effects. Please note that I do not have any side effects from finasteride and the following information is from research that i have gathered online and from other user’s personal experience with finasteride. also, Before trying any of the following methods, please make sure to first consult with your doctor for proper medical advice. 1. Some users of finasteride claim that lowering the dosage from 1mg to 0.2mg has reduced or eliminated the side effects of finasteride. An medical study by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) revealed that taking finasteride at dosages of 0.2mg/day or higher was still effective in treating male pattern baldness, although it wasn’t as effective as taking the 1mg pill. this will lower the efficacy of the drug, but many will agree that something is always better than nothing. I’ll leave the link to the scientific study so that you can read about it if interested. 2. For those individuals who have been looking for a safer way to take finasteride, a topical form is now available. Many claim that it halts the progression of male pattern baldness effectively, with little chance of any unwanted side effects due to the minimal absorption into the rest of the body. The only bad thing is that finasteride is not as easily available to find in topical solution. However, customers in Canada can obtain a prescription for topical finasteride from hair transplant surgery Hasson&Wong, or if you based in Europe, you can purchase it online. 3. Finasteride works by eliminating testosterone from converting to DHT. If we eliminate DHT, it gives the body a chance for estrogen to dominate, which causes hormonal imbalances that may actually be the cause of unwanted side effects from taking finasteride, not from the drug itself. If a male’s estrogen level goes out of range, this can cause symptoms such as erectile dysfunction, low libido, depression, etc. The key here is to ensure that estrogen does not increase. Zinc has been known to prevent the conversion of testosterone to estrogen. Calcium D Glucarate also removes excess estrogen from the body. Indole-3-Carbinol is another strong excess estrogen eliminator that is found in veggies such as broccoli. Finasteride dosage scientific study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10495375 =========================== Welcome to my Youtube channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. Finasteride 1mg/day (generic brand for Propecia/Proscar) - Finasteride is approved by the FDA for male pattern baldness and is effective in slowing hair loss for men. 2. Biotin 10,000mcg/day - Biotin is effective in thickening hair, nails, and beautifying the skin. I've noticed thicker and stronger hair after using Biotin for the past few months. 3. Vitamin D 3,000IU/day - Vitamin D helps maintain a healthy body 4. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.

The concern that has received the most attention is the risk of tendon rupture. Fluoroquinolones, including ciprofloxacin (Cipro) and levofloxacin (Levaquin), are often used to treat urinary infections. These antibiotics have been associated with increased risks of tendon ruptures. Antibiotic-associated diarrhea can occur when you take antibiotics. These medications can alter the normal bacteria in the G.I. system. In order to decrease your chance of having diarrhea, your doctor can keep the duration of antibiotic treatment as short as possible that still eliminates the infection. Antibiotics that have been linked to photosensitivity are a concern for anyone who plays outdoor sports or exercises outside. Tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones and sulfa drugs are believed to carry this risk. It is possible that you could develop a serious sunburn on body parts exposed to the sun or have an increased risk of skin cancer if you use these medications. Theoretically you should avoid these antibiotics or use sunscreen and wear fully protective clothing. By no means does this list of concerns represent medical advice. If you have an infection and require antibiotic treatment, you should ask the doctor about possible complications with those drugs, especially as they pertain to exercise and sports. Please remember, while I appreciate your questions, I cannot and will not offer specific medical advice by email, online, on my show, or in the comments at the end of these posts. My responses are meant to provide general medical information and education. Please consult your physician or health care provider for your specific medical concerns.

Wrist Pain Diagnosis - Basics And Why It's Not A Fix

06:58
You can get a wrist pain diagnosis of wrist tendonitis from a doctor if you have pain most anywhere between fingers to elbow. These symptoms can include wrist pain, forearm muscle pain, hand pain, cramp twitch and/or spasm in the hand and/or forearm, popping or cracking of the wrist joint. Many people really want a diagnosis as if that will result in the pain going away. But the diagnosis doesn't say specifically what is causing the pain. A diagnosis of wrist pain or wrist tendinitis is just a label, a name for a set of common complaints. If you want to be pain free, you want to know what factors are causing the pain and how to get rid of those factors. Find Out More At https://www.TendonitisExpert.com/wrist-pain-diagnosis.html If you want your tendonitis pain to go away, then you better learn WHY you have that pain, why it won't just go away on it's own (for very long, anyway), and the RIGHT treatment methods to help it go away. What won't work: Rest, anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen, splints and braces, corticosteroid shots, ultrasound, stretching and strengthening, etc. 'Tendonitis' and 'Tendinitis' are used interchangeably. Technically 'Tendinitis' is correct, but the vast majority use 'tendonitis'. Public Service Announcement: Avoid Fluoroquinolones like Levaquin and Cipro if at all possible, you DO NOT WANT Cipro or Levaquin Tendonitis (But if you do, we can help).

7 Surprising Things That Can Kick You Out of Ketosis

05:13
Survey Question: https://www.drberg.com/video-idea-sur... Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 Dr. Berg talks about the 7 Surprising things that can kick you out of ketosis: 1. Stress 2. Excessive caffeine 3. Bone broth and whey protein (and even L-Glutamine 4. MSG (monosodium glutamate) hidden in lots of foods – sauces 5. Artificial sweeteners (aspartame, saccharine) 6. Excess protein 7. Keto-friendly deserts (excessive xylitol) Hey guys, I want to create an important video on this 7 surprising things that can kick you out of ketosis. You may know the typical things like sugar and refined carbohydrates but these are the things that you may not know that are important. Stress can kick you out of ketosis because stress activates a hormone called cortisol. Cortisol is the main adrenal hormone that adapts the body to stress. So any type of stress, shock to the system, surgery, trauma, allergies and even the loss of the love ones can activate stress, stress in your job or relationship stress could actually knock you out of ketosis. Next one is the excessive caffeine, one cup of coffee is not going to do anything but if you are doing coffee or tea all day long with caffeine too much of that can activate adrenaline which can then activate insulin. Bone broth in large quantities, a little bit of bone broth is not going to be an issue, I’m talking about protein. Protein can bump you out. I am not too concerned about bone broth, even when you are fasting it may knock you out a little bit but it is a very small amounts. Whey proteins is one of the top proteins, because it is a low fat and is a high protein that will stimulate insulin and knock you out with ketosis. L-Glutamine, people take that for their digestive system and they can get irritable bowel syndrome, it is a protein and can knock you out in ketosis. I am not concerned about you taking that because it really helps you in a certain ways, it is not going to put weight on but the only reason that I’m bringing it up is if you test yourself and all of the sudden it knocks you out, don’t be concerned if that’s what doing it, it is a temporary thing but it will knock you out. And then we have MSG, Monosodium glutamate another name for that is modified food starch. It is in so many foods, it is easy to avoid if you are shopping but it is very hard to avoid if you are going out to restaurants because they have it in the sauces, dressings, in some of the flavor enhancers, any food that just taste too good typically has MSG on it especially if it is a fast-food restaurant. The next one, artificial sweeteners Aspartame, Splenda - that has actual dextrin, saccharine and Maltodextrin. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, 52 years of age is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Dr Steinke Discusses Achilles Tendon Injuries

01:29
I think I tore my Achilles tendon, now what? \n\n The Achilles tendon is that long thick tendon at the back of your ankle that helps you propel yourself forward when walking and jumping. It is the strongest tendon in your entire body, but being the strongest tendon does not prevent it from getting injured. Partial or complete tears of this tendon can occur. \n\n  There are three things that most commonly lead to rupture. The most common is your weekend warrior who experiences muscle fatigue quickly leading to injury. Use of quinolone antibiotics like ciprofloxacin can also weaken the tendon.  Finally, injection of steroids in close proximity to the tendon can also lead to injury.    \n\n Tears occur when we rapidly push on our foot, like jumping quickly, or when making a rapid change of direction. The injury feels like a sudden kick to the back of the ankle and often you can even hear an audible snap. Initially the injury can be very painful but after a few days pain usually improves and may not be painful at all, but walking is very difficult. \n\n  Treatments can include placement in a below the knee cast, but more frequently surgical repair is indicated to re-approximate the ruptured ends allowing for a faster return to normal activities and reduced risk of re-rupture in the future. Unfortunately, if left untreated it can result in weakness of the calf muscle and instability when walking.   \n\n If you have any symptoms of an Achilles tendon rupture, you should contact our office for evaluation and treatement options. \n

GOT DRUGS ??? MEAT & Milk DOES (Steriods Growth Hormones Antibiotic USDA FDA Vaccine Autism Weed Pil

10:28
***READ*** SOOO MANY DRUGS - 450!!! Animals raised for meat in factory farms are often genetically manipulated to grow unnaturally large and hence more profitable for the agricultural industry. Chickens slaughtered in the United States, for example, are bred to weigh a staggering nine pounds today compared to just two pounds in the 1950s. They are bred to grow so fast, in fact, that debilitating deformities are common. According to a study by the Center for Food Safety, over 450 animal drugs, drug combinations, and other feed additives are administered to animals to achieve increased growth and keep them alive in conditions that would otherwise kill them. Indeed, 99.9 percent of chicken and 78 percent of beef consumed in the United States come from overcrowded factory farms. Since these factory farms are filthy and packed tightly with animals, disease and infection run rampant. To make matters worse, the Center for Food Safety found that drugs posing “significant threats” to humans, animals, and the environment are administered to animals. Shockingly, these have been approved by the FDA and are on the market. Of the drugs studied, 12 are banned for use as animal drugs in other countries, but not in the United States. Ractopamine is used to increase an animal’s muscle mass and overall weight before slaughter, but the risks posed to consumers and the environment are not fully known. As for animals, ractopamine has resulted in more reports of sickened or dead pigs than any other livestock drug. It also increases lameness, broken limbs, and immobility. Cardiovascular stress, musculoskeletal tremors, increased aggression, hyperactivity, acute toxicity, and genotoxicity are just a few of the behavioral changes and other problems linked to ractopamine. Despite mounting evidence of health risks from arsenic exposure, from 1940 to 2016 the FDA approved arsenic-based compounds, or arsenicals, for use in animal feed for growth promotion, improved feed efficiency, and desirable pigmentation. Consequently, cumulative exposure to arsenic greatly increased among Americans, with documented cases of arsenic residues in chicken products. Evidence that inorganic arsenic compounds are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tracts of humans also abounds. Synthetic antioxidants, such as ethoxyquin, are used to slow down rot and increase meat’s shelf life. Although recognized by the FDA as poisonous, ethoxyquin is added to drinking water at poultry farms to enhance the yellow of egg yolks. Despite the FDA’s acknowledgement of the dangers, there has been no reevaluation or restriction of the drug for animals. Eighty percent of all antibiotics in the United States are administered to farmed animals to curb infections, treat diseases, or promote growth and feed efficiency. While the doses are low and nonlethal, they allow bacteria to mutate and become resistant. This heightens the threat of antibiotic-resistant infections, which are expected to kill approximately 10 million people each year by 2050, according to a 2015 study. Take a stand for your health, the environment, and the billions of animals who suffer and die each year. Withdraw your support from the cruel and immoral animal agriculture industry. Why are billions of our taxes still given to this unhealthy industry that has a large part in destroying our health care...NO free range (often not much better so know your source) and organic meats are not possible for 8 BILLION humans and is very wasteful, bad for our planet, health care and much more so simply leave animals alone and go vegan.
