It was then that his chiropractic journey began. He had started taking general courses at Temple Community College in Temple, Texas and continued to deal with chronic lower back pain and decreasing motor function in his right leg, which was getting worse with time. He tried medication, physical therapy and the doctors were pushing surgery as his only possible solution. He knew there must be a different way. He began to see a functional medicine chiropractic physician for the first time ever and started to see wonderful results. It was then that he found his second calling in life. Dr. Strom has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, Kansas in 2013. He graduated with honors including: Cum Laude, and was listed in “Who’s Who Among American Students”. While through school he was the president of the Applied Kinesiology Club and Nutrition Club as well. He now has decided to dedicate his life to helping others and being the best doctor that he can. Over the last 6 years he has taken over 500 additional education hours outside his doctorate program that include Human Biomechanics, Laboratory and Nutritional analysis, Sacral Occipital Technique, Certified Functional Medicine, Certified Activator Method and have a very deep understanding of how the world’s food supply and chemical overload is affecting the human body. He is passionate about treating the whole body, and believe that we must look and treat the body as a whole and not as individual parts. His second passion is gardening, creating living spaces outdoors that not only provide delicious organic food, but provide beautiful environments for people and wildlife. He has been happily married for over 9 years and he and his wife are excited to settle down in the greater Kansas City area changing lives one person at a time.
