How Stress Affects Blood Sugar?

How Stress Affects Blood Sugar? If you have diabetes , In both physical and emotional stress your blood glucose levels becomes high. When you're stressed, the body responds to stress by taking action to fight stress. The levels of stress hormones such as adrenaline, growth hormone epinephrine and cortisol use to rise to fight stressOne of the things raised levels of these hormones do is to stimulate the body to release stored glucose into the bloodstream When you have diabetes, you may not have enough insulin to move this glucose into your cells. This can result in your blood glucose levels becoming high. http://youtu.be/z1N2GXiHjBI https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgEUYTtwBXdRPNMfpZD_lJw Please note: I am not medically trained. The Underlying Cause of Diabetes

Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about the deeper cause of diabetes. He discusses the relation between diabetes and insulin and what you need to know about the foods you eat. What controls the balance of sugar is insulin. Insulin acts as a cellular key to allow glucose to go into the cell and another function is to lower sugar. Diabetes is a insulin deficiency. You can have a situation where the body makes too much insulin which causes your cells to ignore it. This results in diabetes. What causes insulin to increase? Too many carbohydrates and refined sugars. Protein or amino acids can cause a small increase in insulin. Adding sugar and protein will double the insulin production. Just eating in general will increase insulin. Cortisol (stress hormone) will cause increase insulin. Saturated Fats do NOT cause increase in insulin. By keeping these points in, you will be able to manage your insulin resistance and address the deeper causes of diabetes. See two successes of applying these data. 🍬The Myth & REAL Cause of High Blood Sugar & Diabetes

06:26
A simple formula that lowered my uncle’s blood sugar by 46%, naturally: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/LowerSugarLevels Or go and watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1w65TPrd88 =============================================== 🍬The Myth & REAL Cause of High Blood Sugar & Diabetes =============================================== Most people don’t know, but having high blood sugar is one of the primary causes of aging and disease. Of course, it causes diseases such as diabetes -- but also heart disease, high blood pressure, erectile dysfunction and many others. If also causes Alzheimer’s. In fact, Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia are now classified as type 3 diabetes. High blood sugar also causes hair loss, wrinkles, muscle loss, fat gain and other “vanity” related problems that make you look and feel older. Now the real problem is that most people, including doctors,... are misinformed and confused about the REAL causes of high blood sugar and diabetes and that’s what today’s short video will reveal to you. In fact, you’ll also discover how to avoid and even reverse diabetes. Before I begin, I have to point out that genetics always plays a big role in everything. Especially when it comes to type 1 diabetes. However, with that said -- everything else can be avoided as it relates to high blood sugar and type 2 and 3 diabetes. Now, the primary reason for blood sugar problems is simply due to hormonal imbalances. This includes your sex hormones -- such as testosterone, estrogens and similar. In addition to stress hormones like Cortisol, thyroid and adrenal hormones. And yes, all of these hormones get worse as we age and yes, all of these hormones CAN easily be improved at ANY age. So, please don’t worry if you have “bad” genetics or a “family history” of diabetes like I do … or you’re “older” and think you can’t make any improvements and it’s all “downhill”. In over 25 years, I’ve NEVER had a single person, patient or client that I didn’t improve their blood sugar levels. This even includes those with genetic Type 1 diabetes. Two Clinically Proven Ways So there are 2 specific things you need to do to improve your blood sugar levels, so you can avoid and even reverse diabetes. The FIRST is you want to lower your blood sugar to healthy levels. You obviously do NOT want “high” blood sugar because that’s the major problem. However, you also do NOT want “low” blood sugar because that causes negative hormonal changes by increasing stress hormones such as cortisol, which is KNOWN to cause diabetes and insulin resistance. Which brings me to your SECOND goal and that’s to improve INSULIN SENSITIVITY. Most people never talk about insulin resistance and insulin sensitivity, but this is the underlying cause of blood sugar problems. Simply stated, when you eat foods that increase your blood sugar, your pancreas secretes insulin to lower it back down to normal, healthy levels. BUT, if your receptors have REDUCED sensitivity to the insulin and thus, they’ve become “resistant”,... your body will now have to produce a LOT MORE insulin to lower your blood sugar and THIS ends up causing all the problems. So what you want to do are 3 simple things: Step 1 - LOWER BLOOD SUGAR to healthy ranges. This is done primarily through your diet: Lower your simple sugars and eat more complex carbs. Have protein, healthy fats and fiber with all of your meals. Eat smaller meals, but more often Step 2 - IMPROVE INSULIN SENSITIVITY to reduce insulin secretion. This is done primarily through exercise: Build more muscle by lifting weights - cables, dumbbells, machines, your own body weight, etc. Do cardiovascular exercise -- fast walking and rebounding are my favorites. Step 3 - TAKE SPECIFIC NUTRIENTS that help lower blood sugar AND improve insulin sensitivity at the same time. Let’s face it, most of us do NOT eat perfectly, all the time. And even if we did, the foods we have these days are lacking in many of the essential nutrients that our body requires to function at optimal levels. The good news is that there are specific herbs, vitamins and minerals that are clinically proven to help lower your blood sugar and increase insulin sensitivity at the same time. You’ll get the biggest and fastest improvements, with the least amount of effort when taking these specific nutrients with an improved diet and exercise plan. ======================================== ======================================== Thank you for watching. The Effects of Hyperglycemia on the Immune System

02:37
Developed and produced for http://www.MDPracticeGuide.com, a CME resource for physicians and healthcare providers. Animation Description: Under normal circumstances, bacterial infection results in the release of chemokines that attract circulating neutrophils to the endothelium. This process is known as chemotaxis. A variety of molecules are expressed on the endothelial cell surface that allow the neutrophil to be captured, then roll along the endothelium, then adhere. Following adherence, the neutrophil migrates into the subendothelial tissue to reach the site of infection. The neutrophil engulfs the bacteria and eliminates them via breakdown within the phagosomes — a process known as phagocytosis. In states of hyperglycemia, chemotaxis is reduced. Adherence is also adversely affected. Phagocytosis is also impaired by hyperglycemia. Hyperglycemia also adversely affects the macrophage system. Under normal circumstances, circulating monocytes are attracted to sites of infection, roll, adhere, and then migrate into the subendothelial space. The monocyte then transforms into a macrophage. which is then activated by cytokines released by the bacteria. The activated macrophage then engulfs the bacteria. However, hyperglycemia results in decreased activation of macrophages, thereby arresting the process of macrophage phagocytosis of bacteria. In addition to affecting neutrophil and macrophage function, hyperglycemia also affects the complement cascade. Under situations of normal glycemia, bacteria can activate the complement cascade. Activation of the complement cascade results in the formation of transmembrane protein channels known as membrane attack complex (MAC) in bacterial membrane. Membrane attack complexes make the bacterial membrane porous and the rapid influx of fluid results in the bacterial cell death. Hyperglycemia inhibits the proper activation of the complement cascade, thereby reducing another pathway of the immune system.

Why diabetes cause you experience more stress & depression?

02:41
Diabetes management is a lifelong process. This can add stress to your daily life. Stress can be a major barrier to effective glucose control. Stress hormones in your body may directly affect glucose levels. If you’re experiencing stress or feeling threatened, your body reacts. This is called the fight-or-flight response. This response elevates your hormone levels and causes your nerve cells to fire. Can stress cause diabetes

Visit http://fumix.info/diabetes-cure to know more Can stress cause diabetes Diabetes can strike anyone, from any walk of life. And it does – in numbers that are dramatically increasing. In the last decade, the cases of people living with diabetes jumped almost 50 percent – to more than 29 million Americans. Worldwide, it afflicts more than 380 million people. And the World Health Organization estimates that by 2030, that number of people living with diabetes will more than double. Today, diabetes takes more lives than AIDS and breast cancer combined -- claiming the life of 1 American every 3 minutes. It is a leading cause of blindness, kidney failure, amputations, heart failure and stroke. Living with diabetes places an enormous emotional, physical and financial burden on the entire family. Annually, diabetes costs the American public more than $245 billion. Just what is diabetes? To answer that, you first need to understand the role of insulin in your body. When you eat, your body turns food into sugars, or glucose. At that point, your pancreas is supposed to release insulin. Insulin serves as a “key” to open your cells, to allow the glucose to enter -- and allow you to use the glucose for energy. But with diabetes, this system does not work. Several major things can go wrong – causing the onset of diabetes. Type 1 and type 2 diabetes are the most common forms of the disease, but there are also other kinds, such as gestational diabetes, which occurs during pregnancy, as well as other forms. He told me he thinks most type 2 diabetes is due to recurring stress. He went through the neuro-anatomy of the cortex of the brain - to the thalamux, hypothalamus, pituitary and pineal glands. For example, the pineal gland releases melatonin to cause sleep. The hypothalamus/pituitary area releases ACTH, or adreno-cortico -trophic hormone, which causes stimulation of the adrenal gland. The adrenal gland, in turn, creates epinephrine, or adrenaline, and cortisol. Cortisol creates a short term diabetic state: even though blood glucose is high, the liver is creating and releasing more glucose into the blood. Adrenaline, or epinephrine, creates a short-term "fight-or-flight" episode. Cortisol creates the same biological conditions, but is more long acting. With daily stimulation of the hypothalamus and adrenals, creating more, and more cortisol. Chronic cortisol release, according to this neuro-endocrinologist, is the cause of most diabetes - and therefore heart attacks, strokes and dementia. About Dr. Brewer - Dr. Brewer started as an Emergency Doctor. After seeing too many patients coming in dead from early heart attacks, he went to Johns Hopkins to learn Preventive Medicine. He went on to run the post-graduate training program (residency) in Preventive Medicine at Hopkins. From there, he made a career of practicing and managing preventive medicine and primary care clinics. His later role in this area was Chief Medical Officer for Premise, which has over 500 primary care/ prevention clinics. He was also the Chief Medical Officer for MDLIVE, the second largest telemedicine company. More recently, he founded PrevMed, a heart attack, stroke, and diabetes prevention clinic. At PrevMed, we focus on heart attack, stroke, disability, cancer and Alzheimer's prevention. We find a lot of undiagnosed Type 2 diabetes. But years later, Attia received an unpleasant medical surprise that led him to wonder: is our understanding of diabetes right? Could the precursors to diabetes cause obesity, and not the other way around? A look at how assumptions may be leading us to wage the wrong medical war. Diabetes. Reasons

01:27
One of the functions of the pancreas is the production of insulin by beta cells in the islets of Langerhans. Damage to the pancreas reduces the concentration of insulin in the blood, which leads to high blood sugar. This is how diabetes type 1 develops. Diabetes type 1 can occur at any age, but most often is found in childhood. The disease is partially inherited. The cause of diabetes type 2 is insensitivity of the body’s cells to insulin. Because of this, high levels of sugar remain in the blood, instead of being taken in and used by the cells for growth and energy. Reasons for this condition include lifestyle factors and genetics. Obesity contributes to diabetes type 2. Lack of physical activity increases the risk of type 2 diabetes. Increased stress is associated with the development of type 2 diabetes. A poor diet, containing large amounts of sugar-sweetened drinks and fatty foods, may cause diabetes type 2 to develop.

Sudden weight reduction is our body's crisis response to something truly terrible occurrence inside. Can diabetes bring about weight reduction? Untreated diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2) will bring about weight reduction: In a diabetic, glucose exhibit the blood is not separated to discharge vitality. How Sugar and Stress Alter Your pH (acid alkaline levels)

05:51
Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 In this video, Dr. Berg talks about how stress and sugar can alter your pH. Every part of the body has a different pH. The reference point of too alkaline and too acid pH is the blood, it has a very narrow pH of 7.35 to 7.45, in which 7 is the neutral and higher than 7 is alkaline. The pH varies when you consume too much sugar versus experiencing too much stress. SUGAR • Refined sugar or refined carbs could cause the body to be more acidic. • The body will develop a condition called Lactic Acid, the body is not breaking down certain sugar of byproducts building up in the blood. • Diabetic Type I could create a condition called Diabetic Ketoacidosis that could cause hyperventilation and could lead to respiratory alkalosis. Lactic Acidosis Symptoms: • Breathing Problems • Fatigue • Increase Heart Rate • Headache • Restless Leg Syndrome • Nervous Other Cause of Lactic Acidosis: • Liver Dysfunction • Vitamin B1 Deficiency • Alcohol • Metformin (Diabetes Medication) STRESS • It causes the blood pH to be more alkaline or alkalosis. • Stress increases cortisol and it causes excess loss of the hydrogen ion. Alkalosis Symptoms: • Hand Tremor • Confusion • Light Headedness • Muscles Twitch (Tetany) • Numb – Face/Hand/Feet Remedies for Alkalosis: • Apple Cider Vinegar • Vegetables for Potassium Today we're going to talk about how stress and sugar can alter your pH. A lot of times I get all these questions about pH, what pH should your body be, well here's what you need to know, every part of your body has a different pH, the saliva, the blood, fluid inside your intestine, the fluid inside your gallbladder, inside your stomach, all these different pH's. But when we're talking about pH whether you're too alkaline or too acid, the reference point is the blood. The blood has a very narrow pH of 7.35 to 7.45 - 7 is neutral, when it goes higher, it is alkaline. So if the blood is slightly alkaline in a very narrow range. If the pH rises, it is more alkaline. If the pH lowers, it's more acidic and we're basing this off of the blood. Now the pH varies if you're consuming too much sugar versus experiencing too much stress. So let's start with sugar, if you consume a lot of sugar or refined carbs, your body will tend to go more acid, you develop a condition called lactic acid, it's a situation where you're not breaking down all that sugar and there's certain byproducts building up in the blood, lactate and you're actually just forming in this situation where you're too acidic. So the energy factor of the cells, the mitochondria have a carburetor in there, in the carburetor you have fuel and you have an oxygen and you have a spark plug. This is a situation where you're dumping too much fuel into the body with not enough oxidation of that fuel and we're getting a lot of fuel that's not being used and you body is acidifying with the byproduct and you're getting fatigue big-time. And by the way, you need B vitamins and magnesium to act as a spark plug to get that to work. So if you're deficient in B1 and magnesium you can be tired. Between Diabetes And Depression? | Diabetes May Cause Depression, Depression Can Cause Diabetes

http://diabetes.blogstips.org/ What is the Relationship Between Diabetes and Depression? | Diabetes May Cause Depression, Depression Can Cause Diabetes Studies have established a causal link between diabetes and depression. People with diabetes are more likely to suffer from depression than those without diabetes; conversely, those with depression are at an increased risk for developing type 2 diabetes. The lifestyle changes that accompany being diagnosed with diabetes can be emotionally and mentally jarring, enough so to cause depression in certain people. Newly diagnosed diabetics must learn how to manage their conditions, a daily responsibility which can lead some people to feel overwhelmed and alienated. On top of that, many diabetics are forced to drastically change their diets. Diabetes May Cause Depression, Depression Can Cause Diabetes - Medical News Today Diabetes and depression can also work in reverse, with depression prompting lifestyle changes that can lead to type 2 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes isn't necessarily developed by one's diet and level of physical activity; type 2 diabetes, on the other hand, often is. The good news is that the causal relationship between diabetes and depression is preventable. Modern therapy and medication are quite capable of treating both conditions, but one must choose to seek help. One may have no control over developing type 1 diabetes, but with the right mindset and support group, he or she can avoid developing depression. It's important for people dealing with one condition to know the symptoms of the other so that, in the event that both diabetes and depression develop, swift treatment can be sought to avoid unnecessary complications. Diabetics can watch for classic signs of depression, such as feelings of apathy; trouble sleeping; feeling unmotivated to accomplish normal activities, such as getting out of bed; suicidal thoughts; and feelings of melancholy and hopelessness. Those who suffer from depression can likewise watch out for classic signs of diabetes. These can include extreme fatigue, insatiable hunger and unquenchable thirst, drastic weight loss, frequent urination, and blurry vision, among other signs. If one experiences any combination of these symptoms, it's important to seek medical help immediately. What is causing diabetes to become more commonplace? Poor diet A poor diet goes hand-in-hand with obesity which is an epidemic that is grabbing hold of every area of the globe. Many experts believe that low protein and low fiber intake together with excessive amounts of refined products such as these find fat are behind the massive increase in the number of diabetics. Obesity As you mention above, obesity and diet habits go hand-in-hand as well as a lack of exercise for many people around the world. The more overweight you are the more precious places upon the body and the more likely you are to become insulin resistant. It has been shown that an improvement in your exercise as well as improvement in your diet can have an immediate impact upon your blood sugar levels. Stress Even though many experts have been predicting a shorter working week and more leisure time for many people around the world this situation has not appeared as yet. Life can be more stressful than ever for many people which can lead to other medical conditions including diabetes. Hereditary Many people believe that both types of diabetes can be hereditary but it is more likely that type I diabetes would be past generation to generation. Even if the diabetes gene is present in any one person it is not certain they will develop the condition and it is unclear exactly what "switches on" the rogue diabetic gene. Conclusion In the eyes of many experts there is no one reason why instances of diabetes continue to grow in the modern world. However, there is a very close association between obesity and lack of exercise citing many experts suggest we need to control the current obesity epidemic which will then bring down the number of future diabetic sufferers. http://tinyurl.com/Naturally-Cure-Diabetes #What Causes Diabetes

In fact they reduced liver steatosis, white blood cell counts, fibrosis, inflammation, levels of serum liver enzymes and even C-reactive protein levels. Further their use was found to be efficacious in non-alcohol induced liver disease (NASH), ulcerative colitis and even psoriasis! These sound like antifungal drugs, don’t they? So glad you asked, because they are! An Indian study in 2011 proved that some of these thiazolidinediones exhibited “remarkable antifungal activity, while a 2011 Tennessee study declared that these drugs showed an ability to inhibit fungal growth comparable to Diflucan. So diabetic drugs are antifungal drugs! Be still my heart! Of course, over a decade ago, our book, The Fungus Link to Diabetes hit the market and although very well documented scientifically, we knew that it would take researchers decades to finally draw the same conclusions we had about the most overlooked cause of diabetes…fungus - Doug Kaufmann

What Causes Diabetes?

Learn how to destroy your diabetes natural ways! - https://tinyurl.com/ycz2ctnr Diabetes is a disease that is characterized by high levels of glucose, or sugar, in the blood. The increased amount sugar in the blood is a result of either defects in the production of insulin or the way in which insulin is used by the body. Complications from diabetes can lead to dozens of other medical conditions, such as kidney failure, peripheral vascular disease, blindness, neuropathy, gum disease, or heart disease. Type 1 diabetes the result of a lack of insulin production because of the destruction of beta cells in the pancreas. These beta cells are responsible for the production of insulin that regulates blood glucose. Researchers have found that there is a combination of genetic and environmental factors that increase a person's risk for developing Type 1 diabetes. There is limited knowledge of the exact cause of Type 1 diabetes but researchers do know that the body attacks the beta cells in the pancreas because of a mistake made by the immune system. It is theorized that Type 1 diabetes is caused when an environmental toxin or pathogen triggers the immune system to attack itself. Also, you may be at risk for Type 1 diabetes if you suffer from other hormonal problems such as hypothyroidism or Hashimoto's or Addison's disease. Type 1 diabetes can happen at any age but most often happens in children and young adults. This type of diabetes requires artificial insulin injections. This is why Type 1 diabetes is often called insulin-dependent diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is also called non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus or adult onset diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is caused when the body still produces enough insulin but the body has become resistant to the effects of the hormone. This type of diabetes usually develops in middle age and in overweight/obese individuals. It is most common in people who are older, obese, have a family history of diabetes or have had gestational diabetes. There are specific risk factors that place people in a higher risk category for developing Type 2 diabetes. These risk factors include sedentary lifestyle, stress, infection, hereditary or inherited traits, age, poor diet high in carbohydrates and processed foods, obesity, hypertension and high triglyceride and cholesterol levels. The main causes contributing to developing Type 2 diabetes are high carbohydrate diets and the sedentary "coach potato" lifestyle, which often leads to inflammation and obesity. Inflammation and obesity which are linked to increased insulin resistance in the body and a poor functioning immune system. The third type of diabetes which affects the glucose system is gestational diabetes. This is a diabetic situation that occurs in an individual who is pregnant and is believed to be caused by hormonal changes in weight gain. When found early on in the pregnancy it is easily treated so that it does not affect the growth and development of the infant. Most women who develop gestational diabetes find that the condition disappears after the delivery of the baby. However, having gestational diabetes puts a woman at greater risk for developing Type 2 diabetes later in life. Women that develop gestational diabetes can often have larger than normal babies. We're talking 10 pounders here! Also, babies born to women with gestational diabetes tend to have low blood sugar levels after birth. Researchers and scientists continue to search for the exact causing factors of diabetes. The only reasonable treatment options available for individuals at this time are diet, exercise and medications. Controlling your blood sugar levels is the most important aspect of diabetes management and care. The better controlled your blood sugar levels are the lower your chances of developing diabetic complications are. Image Source: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Main_symptoms_of_diabetes.svg
