Alopecia is an autoimmune hair loss disease that affects 1 in 100 people, and can strike men, women or children of any age. The onset of hair loss is often sudden, random and recurrent, and can lead to either patchy or complete loss of hair on the scalp or body. The notoriously familiar male/female pattern baldness is another form of the condition. There is no single cause – it can be hereditary or genetic, the result of trauma or stress, or even medication. However, people who have had eczema, asthma or a thyroid disease are more prone to the condition. There is no known cure or proven therapy to induce hair re-growth, but there are various treatments available. Hair loss isn’t damaging to health, but it can prove challenging. 5 Hidden Reasons For Hair Loss Most Women Don’t Know About Unwanted hair loss can be extremely frustrating, upsetting and even embarrassing. Please subscribe and watch this video until the end to know the complete information. Hair loss in women is often associated with a change in hormones. There are several hidden causes of hair loss in women that are often overlooked. Here are five hidden reasons for hair loss most women don’t know: 1. Female Pattern Hair Loss. One of the most common reasons that women suffer from hair loss is due to female pattern hair loss. About one-third of all women are genetically exposed to it. It can happen anywhere from puberty to menopause, beginning with the gradual thinning of the hair. Female pattern hair loss is caused by a hormone known as dihydrotestosterone. An excess of the hormone, which is found in both men and women, can lead to hair loss. 2. An Autoimmune Condition. An autoimmune condition known as alopecia areata can cause hair loss. In people who suffer from the condition, the body’s immune cells are prone to attacking one another. The condition causes patches of hair loss when the immune system attacks the hair follicles. 3. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is associated with a wide range of problems when it comes to women’s health, including hair loss. This is a condition that causes an imbalance in female hormones. The ovaries overproduce testosterone, which can cause women to grow excess body hair or lose hair. 4. Medication. Hair loss can be a side effect of many different medications, including antidepressants, beta-blockers and anti-inflammatory drugs. Changing medication can help stop or reverse hair loss in many situations. 5. Pregnancy. Hormones change tremendously during pregnancy. Women may experience hair loss during any stage of pregnancy. For many women, hair loss occurs soon after the baby is born, due to more hormonal changes in the body. Let me tell you about the natural remedies for hair loss. Hair thinning often occurs when your hormones are off balance. Adding some hormone-balancing foods to your daily diet can help keep your hormones levels on the right track. Try avocados, nuts, pomegranates, organic apples and chia seeds. use essential oils. Studies have shown that rosemary oil can work as a topical hair loss treatment. It has the ability to increase cellular metabolism to stimulate hair growth. You can try mixing peppermint oil and sage oil to reduce hair thinning. you can also use coconut oil and olive oil to reduce hair thinning. Your Thyroid Could Be Causing Hair loss- Hair fall So many people are suffering from hair loss and hair thinning problems. It has become a worldwide epidemic. In this video, I am sharing with you some facts that your thyroid could be the culprit that is causing all of your hair loss problems. Even if you had your thyroid checked by a doctor, there is a good chance that the issue was undiagnosed. This happens more than you know. The reason for this is because the simple blood test that your doctor takes is not looking deep enough to determine if your thyroid is functioning properly. Every cell in your body depends on thyroid hormones to function properly. Your thyroid produces hormones that regulate your metabolism, it also helps with your heart, brain, bones, digestive system, and even your mood. To really identify if your thyroid gland is functioning properly your doctor needs to check your calcium to potassium ratios. Calcium and potassium play a significant role in the health of your thyroid and if the ratios are off your thyroid will not be able to function correctly. The simple blood test that most doctors use does not check your mineral ratios. A hair mineral analysis is an inexpensive test that uses samples of your hair to check for mineral deficiencies, and toxic elements in your body. This test does check the levels of calcium and potassium and can give you more details of your thyroid and adrenal glands. This test could finally shed some light on whether your thyroids are causing your unexplained hair loss. See the natural formula that can improve your circulation and help your hair loss issue: 🤜http://drsam.co/yt/GetYourHairBack Or watch the first part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRdsoOUp_hU ======================================= 👱 Poor Blood Flow Can Cause Baldness and Hair Loss - Hair Loss Part 7 ======================================= So here’s something very interesting -- men who are losing hair, typically have higher blood pressure and poor blood flow and circulation. In fact, statistics show that men who are bald/balding, have higher rates of heart disease - thus leading to heart attacks and/or strokes. Again -- blood flow being a major issue. Less blood flow to the scalp also results in less nutrients and oxygen getting to the hair follicles. This is also why a lot of transplanted hairs, eventually fall out over time. If there isn’t enough blood flow to the scalp / balding areas, even these “new” transplanted hairs eventually start to die and fall out over the next few years. Here are some other interesting facts... Minoxidil - the topical hair loss product... Was originally a blood pressure drug. One of the side-effects or side-benefits was extra hair growth Actually, it was more head hair AND body hair. People liked the extra head hair, but NOT the extra body hair. So, they made it topical so it goes on primarily to the scalp and thus, more scalp hair growth Also, you’ve heard of Viagra, correct? Well, this is PDE-5 inhibitor and the original reason Viagra was created, was for lowering blood pressure and improving blood flow. A side-benefit was better erections. So, two common problems for guys -- hair loss and poor erections -- and blood pressure and blood flow are both causing factors. So our goal is to improve your blood flow and circulation, which will result in a healthier heart, better hair growth and better erections. Recently, I started utilizing an all natural PDE-5 inhibitor called Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa, also referred to as X-Scabrosa. Basically, it acts like a natural Viagra - literally! … Obviously it’s not as potent as the drug, but there are also no side-effects from it. Of course, you have to find the correct source, the specific extract form (Piperazine 35%) and use the clinically proven dosage to make X-Scabrosa work. Unfortunately, most people don’t have access to this rare herb. But don’t worry, I’m not here to tease you. At the end of this video I’ll show you where you can get access this amazing herb. …. And, there you have it my friend. That’s the end of this video series about hair loss and hormones. Improve your hormones and blood flow and: You’ll have more muscle Less belly fat Feel happier and more energetic Higher sex drive and better erections And more head hair. Basically, you’ll look and feel younger. You’ll be a lot more confident and you’ll be the BEST that YOU can be and that’s all you can ask for. Now, I know I’ve given you a lot of things to think about in this video series. However, I’ve done this so you can be educated about YOUR health. Hopefully you have a better understanding and more clarity about this very important topic. With that said, if you’re serious about improving your hormones and finally fixing this part of your life, then visit the link below this video in the description area. You’ll discover the proven formula that’s been utilized by thousands of guys since 1999, that can help you get the results you’re looking for. Better hormones, healthier body, higher sex drive, bigger muscles and more head hair. Plant Based Trace Minerals: https://shop.drberg.com/dr-bergs-trace-minerals-regular Dr. Berg talks about common problems like hair loss, brittle nails and Collagen Loss. Although the main reason for having these conditions is protein deficiency but along with that you also need trace minerals as a supplement in your diet in order to stop hair loss and brittle nails. These minerals need to be consumed by a plant based source as these are easily taken by our body. Trace Minerals act as a co-factor or a helper nutrient that acts as a hair loss solution and prevents us having dry brittle nails. Specially for the production of proteins we need trace minerals. A small portion of these minerals can help you solve the hair loss in men or hair loss in women, skin and brittle nail problems along with providing a collagen supplement. You also need to consume a lot of vegetables (salads)to keep up with the nutrient requirements in your body. Overall, in case you have these problems your body needs more of these trace minerals, vegetables along with proteins so that you are able to restore the nutrient levels back to normal in your body. Dr. Berg discusses about the power of trace minerals and how they allow proteins to be made (synthesized) and without them, your hair, nails, skin suffer. You can experience loose skin if this happens. You would think you just need to eat more protein to get better protein, however this is not true. The biggest challenge is trace minerals are missing in the soil. Farmers do not add them back. If trace minerals are missing in the soil, then they are missing in the plants…and of course in your body too. See the 100% natural formula that can improve your testosterone levels and help your hair loss issue: 🤜http://drsam.co/yt/Increase-Testosterone Or watch the first part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRdsoOUp_hU ======================================= 🤸🏻♂️ Low testosterone Can Cause Hair Loss Or Balding - Hair Loss Part 2 ======================================= As I stated in the previous video, men who are losing their hair typically have lower testosterone levels. And it’s no coincidence that a man’s testosterone peaks in his early 20’s and starts to drop in his late 20’s. And, this is also the time most men start to see hair loss. By age 40, there’s a big drop in testosterone and at the same time, a big increase in hair loss and extra body hair. And sadly, it only gets worse as you age. However, the next big problem is prostate growth and prostate cancer. And guess what, men who have prostate problems have LOW testosterone. Do you see a pattern?... So your goal is to increase your testosterone levels and decrease the “negative” hormones, which I’ll get to during this video series. So how do you increase testosterone levels naturally?.. Lift weights. But only about 3-4x weekly and less than 1 hour at a time. Thus, you only need 4 hours total a week. Too much causes a DROP in testosterone. Keep intense cardio to a minimum because it lowers testosterone and increases negative hormones. Thus, no running, jogging, biking. A brisk walk for 30 mins daily is great. Eat more healthy fats, natural fats in the raw form. Eat raw nuts, seeds, egg yolks, grass feed butter, macadamia nut oil, avocados and coconut oil. Do NOT heat your oils. Don’t cook with them. Don’t eat any of the typical “supermarket” oils. Get more sleep and rest. This is when you produce your good hormones and reduce the bad ones. Take a short nap if you can. Set time aside daily to rest for 20-30 min - even if it’s meditation or listening to relaxing music. Take herbs and vitamins that are clinically proven to increase your “total” and “free” testosterone levels… such as Horny Goat Weed Extract (20% Icarrin), Avena Sativa Extract (10:1), Longjack Extract (Eurycoma 100:1) and Vitamin D3. These are five, clinically proven solutions that you can implement right away to see improvements in how you look and feel. However, increasing your testosterone is just the start. The real challenge is to KEEP it high and prevent it from dropping, which is what I’ll cover in the next 3 videos. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Hair fall could be happening because of various reasons, one of the reasons could be hereditary or familial, which means it runs in your families. One of the second reason is because e of hormonal issues, sometimes when women have more of testosterone in their body then they can lose hair, that causes problems. There are medical conditions that can cause hair fall, so if you experience pain, or itching or burning in your scalp, then you ,must really get your scalp checked out by a dermatologist . There are several conditions like severe dandruff, psoriasis, dermatitis, lupus, lichen, all these conditions can cause the hair to fall out in lumps. There are also certain products that can cause hair fall, so it is important to notice what it is you are applying on your scalp. Try and use SLS free shampoo if you have sensitive scalp and if you are already suffering from hair loss. It is also important to use less of the heat styling products, less of the blow drying, that would certainly help in arresting the hair fall. Your dermatologist may also want to order some blood tests, check the thyroid, and iron and haemoglobin. That is one of the commonest reasons for losing hair in young women. So, it is really important to have an appointment with your doctor to discuss the cause for your hair fall.

The causes of hair loss are many! From the environmental pollution to various health reasons, all of these tend to give you hair loss. The best way to curb such a situation is to start with early signs of hair loss. The market is flooded with different hair product to attract the customers but little do they know that extensive use of these can lead to not only damaging the hair but also excess hair loss. Let us go through some important cause related to hair loss listed below: 1. Stress: This is one of the major causes of hair loss. Stress in terms of work, over exercising or dieting more than required can all lead to hair loss. Emotional and mental stress also plays a vital role in hair fall. So the best way to deal with this situation is to try yoga or meditation that will calm your nerves down. 2. Hair wash: Another cause for hair loss is over washing the hair. Some people wash their hair every day or every alternate day which is bad for the hair. Ideally, one should wash their hair just once in 3 days which is perfect for healthy hair. 3. Hormonal changes: This too is one of the reasons for excessive hair fall! Women who have irregular menstrual cycles or during pregnancy can face hair fall. In such situations it is recommended to speak to your doctor for any Vitamin supplements that your body requires to curb this problem. 4. Eating habits: If your diet does not consist of certain Vitamins that are essential for the body like Vitamin-A, B 12, C etc then you can experience hair fall. In case you are dieting or exercising, make sure you are eating vegetables and fruits in good quantities to supplement your body with the lost vitamins. 5. Physical Illness: Nowadays with deceases like Dengue and Typhoid that are rampant, one needs to be careful because these dreaded deceases can lead to excessive hair fall. Make sure you take the advice from your doctor and follow the medication required to cure the illness. Timely intervention will surely avoid hair loss. I’m sure these tips will come handy to you in the long run! Uses: 1. Hair fall can be curbed by controlling areas that tend to be neglected like dieting or over exercising. 2. The use of certain vitamins to strengthen the hair too works well for hair fall. When a man begins to bald, two things go down the drain - his hair and his confidence. As a result, the sooner you catch it, the easier it is to deal with male pattern baldness. It’s much harder to re-grow new hair as opposed to keeping the hair you’ve already got. Every week, I get emails from dozens of people asking me to analyze their hairlines and scalps to see if they are balding. While I am no hair doctor, I can usually see and tell if a person is suffering from male pattern baldness from my own experience and research I have been doing over the past few years. Hopefully this video will explain if you are indeed suffering from signs of balding! ========================= Welcome to my Youtube channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD. I will be doing daily updates on my hair transplant progress, so feel free to subscribe and ask any questions you have. Thanks for visiting! Please like, comment and subscribe! :) My website: https://www.Hairliciously.com *******Buy Your Derma Roller HERE!******* http://hairliciously.com/store/ ======================================= Products I am using to supplement my FUE hair transplant: 1. Finasteride 1mg/day (generic brand for Propecia/Proscar) - Finasteride is approved by the FDA for male pattern baldness and is effective in slowing hair loss for men. - STOPPED AS OF 4/10/2017 2. Biotin 10,000mcg/day - Biotin is effective in thickening hair, nails, and beautifying the skin. I've noticed thicker and stronger hair after using Biotin for the past few months. 3. Vitamin D 3,000IU/day - Vitamin D helps maintain a healthy body 4. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker. 5. Pumpkin Seed Oil 1000 mg 6. Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

I must say I am a little timid talking about these subjects, but oh well... I think it is because it is something people don't talk about often. I was writing in my journal this morning and heard some people outside talking about hair implants. I overheard them saying that they got them and payed over 8000 euros for it. When they get the hair transplants they get told not to masturbate for a while. BUT WHY?! Follow us on Twitter: @foods4health1 Recipes4Health: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2bZhXBHIb51n1fE3VWPmcQ/videos To learn more about the health benefits of food, visit: http://www.benefitsoffood.blogspot.com If we want to be at our best when it comes to our health, it is important that we are consuming adequate nutrients. A deficiency in these nutrients can lead to certain health complications that may impact you on a day-to-day basis. This is certainly true for those individuals who suffer from iron deficiency, and are not getting adequate levels of this mineral. Iron deficiency is very common around the world, and is one of the most widespread nutrient deficiencies. When our bodies don’t have enough iron, this can lead to health complications since iron is important to get enough oxygen throughout our body. Iron is also used to make hemoglobin and impacts the red blood cells in our bodies. Lets discuss some other signs and symptoms of iron deficiency. 1. First, one of the most common signs of iron deficiency is fatigue and lack of energy. These fatigue feelings are prevalent even after getting a good nights sleep. This is because iron deficiency may cause less oxygen to reach your tissues, as mentioned previously. When there is this lack of oxygen, our bodies can be deprived of important energy to fuel us during our busy day. Not only will you feel fatigued and tired, but iron deficiency can also bring on symptoms of irritability, weakness and an inability to focus like you once did. 2. Another common iron deficiency sign or symptom is an increase in the paleness of your skin color. As mentioned previously, a deficiency in this nutrient can negatively affect hemoglobin levels in your body. Hemoglobin is responsible for giving your blood its reddish color, which provides your skin with a more rosy hue. Low levels of hemoglobin can affect this, and leave your skin looking more pale. Not just skin tone is affected from this. It can also make your gums, lips and even the bottom of your eyelids less red as well. 3. It is also common for those individuals with iron deficiency to suffer from headaches and head pain. This is because when your are iron deficient, your body will work to prioritize getting important oxygen to your brain, before it will distribute it to the rest of your bodily tissues. Even still, those with an iron deficiency will still get less oxygen in their bodies than it normally would. This lack of oxygen can cause arteries in the brain to swell, resulting in unwanted headaches and pain. 4. Iron deficiency can also negatively affect your hair. This is especially true when this deficiency progresses into iron deficiency anemia, since it can lead to hair loss in both men and women. Again, due to the bodies lack of sufficient levels of oxygen, your body will supply this oxygen to support the most vital functions of the body, which generally does not include keeping the hair healthy, strong and intact. Not only is hair loss possible, but the overall look of your hair can decrease, while becoming brittle and weak. 5. Lastly, iron deficiency can lead to increased feelings of anxiousness and worry more often. Decreased oxygen in the body, along with low levels of iron, can negatively affect your nervous system and increase anxiety. As well, low iron levels can cause your heart to race, which can increase feelings of fight-or-flight. These anxious feelings can come on even when there is nothing particularly to cause you increased anxiousness or stress. Please note, all of the above signs and symptoms should be discussed with your medical practitioner in order to determine their direct cause and and their best treatment for you. As well, you should also discuss your iron levels with your doctor, and adequate intake levels to support your health. Foods high in iron include oatmeal, spinach, various meats such as beef, chicken and liver and tofu. Thank you for watching the video! Please like, comment and share. Discover the truth about testosterone and hair loss. ►Subscribe: https://goo.gl/YsE2AE to learn more secret tips. FREE blueprint: https://tripleyourt.com/tcs/ FREE quiz: https://tripleyourt.com/quiz/ The relationship between testosterone and hair loss is a hot topic of discussion that's surrounded by myths, rumours, and outright lies. In this video, I'm going to reveal the evidence-based truth. 0:28 What is DHT? When it comes to hair-loss, the hormone we have to talk about is dihydrotestosterone, aka DHT. DHT is a derivative of testosterone, which means that anywhere in the body where the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme is present T gets converted into DHT. Many of the benefits that we associate with high T can actually be tied back to DHT. 1:15 DHT and Hair-Loss Researchers have found men with thinning hair to have higher levels of DHT in their scalp. As such, DHT is often cited as the prime culprit behind male pattern baldness. 1:27 Bald Men Have Higher Testosterone: Fact or Fiction? DHT is created from testosterone and balding men have higher levels of DHT in their scalp. Does this mean that balding men have higher levels of testosterone as well? Not quite. Here's something to think about. The incidence of balding goes up with age and the incidence of low T also goes up with age. As such, there is definitely something else going on here. 2:00 Does DHT cause hair loss? The effect that DHT has on hair loss is dependent on the type of DHT we're talking about. Serum DHT is the type that's floating in your blood and studies have found no correlation between it and the incidence of hair loss. One study actually finds higher serum DHT levels to correlate with a decreased chance of hair loss. Tissue DHT is the type that attaches to the androgen receptors in your hair follicles. Balding men, do have higher levels of DHT in their scalps. So yes, high levels of tissue DHT are associated with male pattern baldness. But what's interesting about tissue DHT is that, although it causes hair loss in the head, it causes hair growth everywhere else on your body including your face. 3:38 Hair Loss Comes Down To Genetics If you are genetically prone to have a high amount of androgen receptors in your head, then increasing your testosterone can increase DHT, which can then increase your rate of hair loss. On the flip side, if you are genetically prone to have a low amount of androgen receptor density in your head, then higher DHT will not result in hair loss because it has nothing to attach to. 4:18 Testosterone and Beard Growth If you are genetically prone to have a high amount of androgen receptor density on your skin, body, and face, then higher T will lead to higher DH, which will translate to increased hair growth on your body and face. This is why, for example, Asian people (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc.) can't grow beards - because no matter how high their testosterone or DHT levels are, there are no androgen receptors on their face.

Vitamin D is an extremely important vitamin that has powerful effects on several-systems throughout the body. Unlike most vitamins, vitamin-D actually functions like a hormone, and every single cell in your body has a receptor for it. Your body makes it from cholesterol when your skin is exposed to sunlight. It's also found in certain foods such as fatty fish and fortified dairy products, although it's very difficult to get enough from diet alone. The recommended daily intake is usually around 400-800 IU, but many experts say you should get even more than that. Vitamin-D deficiency is very common. It's estimated that about 1 billion people worldwide have low levels of the vitamin in their blood. Here are 6 signs you may have Vitamin-D deficiency. 1.Bone and Back Pain Vitamin-D is involved in maintaining bone health through a number of mechanisms. For one, it improves your body's absorption of calcium. Bone pain and lower back pain may be signs of inadequate vitamin D levels in the blood. Large observational studies have found a relationship between a deficiency and chronic lower back pain. 2.You Have Gut Trouble Remember, vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, which means if you have a gastrointestinal condition that affects your ability to absorb fat, you may have lower absorption of fat-soluble vitamins like vitamin D as well. This includes gut conditions like Crohn's, celiac and non-celiac gluten sensitivity, and inflammatory bowel disease. 3.Depression A depressed mood may also be a sign of deficiency. On the other hand, most of the controlled trials, which carry more scientific weight than observational studies, didn't show a link between the two Some controlled studies have shown that giving vitamin D to people who are deficient helps improve depression, including seasonal depression that occurs during the colder months. 4.Hair Loss Hair loss is often attributed to stress, which is certainly a common cause. However, when hair loss is severe, it may be the result of a disease or nutrient deficiency. Hair loss in women has been linked to low Vitamin-D levels, although there is very little research on this so far In a case study, topical application of a synthetic form of the vitamin was found to successfully treat hair loss in a young boy with a defect in the Vitamin-D receptor. 5.Bad mood A depression diagnosis is often actually linked to a shortage of vitamin D. While the jury is still out about why, the Vitamin D Council says that the mineral may work in the same brain areas—and impact the same hormones, like serotonin—as those that affect mood. 6.Fatigue and Tiredness Feeling tired can have many causes and vitamin D deficiency may be one of them. Unfortunately, it's often overlooked as a potential cause. In one case, a woman who complained of chronic daytime fatigue and headaches was found to have a blood level of only 5.9 Nanograms per milliliter. This is extremely low, as anything under 20 Nanograms per mililiter is considered to be deficient.

Certain drugs can contribute to excess hair growth, changed in the hair color, or texture of hair loss. Drugs cause hair loss by interfering with the normal cycle of scalp hair growth. During the anagen phase, which lasts for about 2 to 6 years the hair grows to the telogen phase, which lasts about 3 months, the hair rests. At the end of every telogen phase, the hair falls down and there is replacement of new hair. Medications can lead to 2 types of hair loss. One is called as telogen effluvium and second is called as Anagen effluvium. Telogen effluvium is the most common form of drug induced hair loss. It usually appears within 2 to 4 months after taking the drug. This condition causes the hair follicles to go onto their resting phase, that is telogen and follow too early. People with the telogen effluvium usefully shed between 100 to 150 hairs per day. Aanagen effluvium is the type of hair loss that occurs in the anagen phase of the hair cycle when the hairs are actively growing. It permits the matrix cells which produces new hair from dividing normally. That type of hair loss occurs within the first two days to weeks after taking the medication. It is most common in people who are taking chemotherapy drugs for cancer and is often severe in most of the people who loose most of all of their hair on the head as well as their eye brows, eyelashes and other body hair. The severity of the drug induced hair loss depends on the severity of the drug and the dose as well as the sensitivity to the drug. What are the type of drugs causing this hair loss? There are different types of drugs which are thought to cause hair loss when taken for a prolonged period, this includes active medications such as Vitamin A , retinoids, antibiotics or antifungal drugs, anti-depressants and birth control pills, anticlotting drugs, cholesterol lowering drugs, drugs that stimulate the immune system, drugs that treat breast cancer and other cancers, epileptic drugs that is anticonvulsants, high blood pressure medications such as antihypertensive such as Beta blockers, ACE inhibitors, and diuretics, Hormone replacement therapies, Non-Steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, Parkinson’s disease drugs or medications, thyroid mediations and weight loss drugs.

Here's Why Stress Causes Hair Loss💔😩😢 Hi, I'm Debbie from The Changing Faces Hair Clinic and Ask Debbie About Hair. And today I want to share something with you. So many of you have been reaching out to me and have been asking me questions about your hair loss and why do you have hair loss or how to help you solve your hair loss. And one of the things that I want to share with you is that stress could actually be the cause of your hair loss. [Music starts and ends] Debbie: Webster's dictionary defines stress as the mental tension and worry caused by life or by work. However, for most of us stress is just a part of our daily life. But what I want to share with you is that stress is a problem in our life and stress can cause serious health issues. Stress is the number-1 cause of hair loss. And that's so important because some people don't understand stress, a lot of us take stress for granted, but I'm here to share with you that stress causes diseases stress causes problems and stress causes hair loss. So, what happens is the stress starts to affect our immune system which is our number-1 defense against pathogens bacteria and viruses, and this will cause chronic inflammation in our body. And what happens, this chronic inflammation will turn into a disease, it can turn into heart disease it can turn into high blood pressure it can turn into memory loss it can turn into anxiety, it can turn into hormonal problems fertility problems depression, there's headaches there's weight gain bloating indigestion and of course hair loss. So, stress triggers an alarm button in our body and that alarm button it triggers is actually cortisol and cortisol is what we call the stress hormone. Now, cortisol is good for our body. However, too much cortisol will cause havoc in our body. So, today I want to share with you that these things are so important if you wanting to restore your hair that we have to get your stress under control. I'm going to share with you some foods and some different things that you can do to help maintain your stress which in turn will help your hair and your overall body. So, the first amazing product I want to share with you that can help your stress which in turns will help your hair which in turns will help your health is, ASHWAGANDHA. Ashwagandha is an Indian herb and it is a medicinal herb and it is a known [after gym] and that means it helps your body manage stress. It's so amazing, I'm going to share with you some of the benefits that Ashwagandha can do for your overall health. First of all, it helps your body it helps your brain and it helps your memory. And many of us we see now that we have a lot of memory issues where we are where we're not remembering things. Most of the time that's because of inflammation. But Ashwagandha can help with that. So, let me share some of these benefits; it lowers your cortisol, and I just mentioned to you a high level of cortisol will cause a lot of problems and illnesses in your body. It also reduces your blood sugar levels, it boosts brain functions which is wonderful. It fights against cancer cells, it lowers your cholesterol, it reduces inflammation, it reduces symptoms of depression anxiety and of course stress, and it reduces body fat. Now, of course, out of all of that that sounds like that has everything you need for everything you want to do in your life. So, Ashwagandha is definitely one that I want you to look for and add to your diet, whether it's for stress or just for health reasons, it will help your stress it will help your health and it will help your hair. The next things I want to share with you are the foods that you can add to your daily diet. And these foods I've actually picked personally and I picked them because they are number-1 for fighting stress. So, the 1st amazing food I want to share with you are Blueberries. Blueberries are filled with antioxidants and it's one of the highest berries that is filled with antioxidant. And what it actually does is it powers up your immune system it lowers your blood pressure it reduces inflammation it aids in indigestion and it promotes a healthy heart, that alone is amazing. I love blueberries, I tell all of clients, patients everyone, blueberries is what you need to add to your diet. But because we're talking about stress everything that I mentioned to you about blueberries will help reduce your stress and help your hair to grow. The 2nd one I want to talk about is Spinach. Spinach is a dark green leafy vegetable, and most of your dark green leafy vegetables are filled with folate, specifically spinach. And what folate does is it helps with your cardiovascular system and it also helps with emotional health. Spinach is also filled with a lot of magnesium. What happens is when we get stressed our bodies release the magnesium that we had. So, eating spinach will fill you back up with magnesium, and magnesium is great to handle stress.

Causes Of Hair Loss And Baldness Hair Loss From Thyroid Problems Either an underactive thyroid, a medical condition called hypothyroidism, or an overactive thyroid, or hyperthyroidism, can result in hair loss because each condition causes a hormonal imbalance. Hormones help to regulate nearly every function in the body, including hair growth. Getting the right treatment to control either of these thyroid conditions will get hormones under control, stop hair loss, and allow your hair to starting grow back. Thinning Hair Following Pregnancy Other hormonal imbalances can also lead to hair loss, especially the wildly fluctuating hormones that occur following pregnancy and childbirth. It takes time after pregnancy for hormone levels to return to normal, so it's not at all uncommon for post-partum moms to notice thinning hair or even patches of baldness. This often occurs about three months after baby’s arrival. Don't worry — as the rest of your body recovers, so will your hair follicles. The hair loss is only temporary — your hair will grow back. Hair Loss Due to Medications Hair loss is a side effect of a number of medications taken for common health problems. Blood-thinning medications, oral contraceptives, drugs for depression, NSAIDs, and beta and calcium channel blockers can all lead to thinning hair or baldness. Too much vitamin A and vitamin A-based drugs called retinoids can cause hair loss as well. Some chemotherapy drugs used to treat cancer are known to cause total hair loss as they work to destroy cancer cells. Just as hair usually grows back after chemo, it should also grow back once you stop taking any medication that causes hair loss. Different Types of Alopecia Alopecia is the medical term for hair loss, and there are two main types: alopecia areata and androgenic (androgenetic) alopecia. Alopecia may cause hair loss only on the scalp or all over the body. It may result in thinning hair, patches of hair loss, some balding, or total baldness, and it may be permanent or temporary. There are numerous causes, including genetics. Talk to your doctor about possible treatments. Physical Trauma: A Shock to Hair Follicles When your body is under serious physical stress, the natural cycle of hair growth and resting can be disrupted, resulting in hair loss, often in the form of thinning hair — strands may come out in clumps. Any shock to the system, such as being in a severe accident, undergoing surgery, experiencing burns, or becoming very ill, can also shock the hair follicles, resulting in up to 75 percent of your hair falling out, sometimes months after the fact Subscribe to Freez Frame Films's Youtube Channel http://www.youtube.com/freezframefilms Official Website http://www.freezframefilms.com/ Join Us On Facebook FreezFrameFilms - https://www.facebook.com/freezframefilms Health & Beauty - http://goo.gl/bJLldU Twitter https://twitter.com/FreezFrameFilms Google+ https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/109252552646367222943/109252552646367222943/posts?pageid=109252552646367222943 Visit Freez Frame Films's Dailymotion Channel http://www.dailymotion.com/Freez Frame Films

Hair loss, more commonly referred to as Male Pattern Baldness, is an intriguing phenomenon. I’ve heard people proclaim before that they can’t believe that something like hair loss, hair fall, or balding hasn’t already been solved, yet we can put a man on Mars, and we can destroy entire cities with nuclear weapons. The truth is: The cause of hair loss has already been solved. The research exists, and it’s sitting right in plain sight, where anyone can find it. I’ll show it to you today. But thanks to our old friends Greed and Dogma, going under the monickers these days of Big Pharma and Big Science, nobody will hear about it. In this case billion dollar drugs like Finasteride are creating life-altering - often irreversible, side effects in thousands of men every year, including documented suicides, and it’s time we shine some light on the darkness. Like most things, the Truth is staring us right in the face. By the end of this video I will have shown you the REAL cause of hair loss in humans. You will know why you’re losing hair, and what you can do to stop it without going through hair transplant. First, I’m going to trace back the current “understanding” of male pattern baldness. What do the masses believe is the cause of hair loss, and why do they believe it? Where did that information come from and who wins from this dogmatic view, while others lose? I’ll show you the rather large inconsistencies in this present - dogmatically accepted - hypothesis of hair loss, but it’ll become quite obvious why the mainstream public is not aware of those discrepancies. Then I’m going to show you what ACTUALLY causes hair loss in men. This information is interestingly hiding right in front of our faces, yet nobody seems to see it, and why I believe this is actually another clever trick being played in the name of profit. So buckle up, and let’s dive into today’s Truth Tuesday. Examining the collective body of research and blood markers around all of these instances, you begin to see some painfully obvious patterns emerge. What do all of these situations have in common? Chronically Elevated Cortisol Levels Chronically Elevated Estrogen Levels (there is a feedback loop between cortisol and estrogen where they both increase one another over time as well) Low Thyroid Function Liberation of Free Fatty Acids In The Blood, which stimulates Estrogen production Chronically Elevated Prolactin Levels Mucopolysaccharide accumulation in the scalp tissue (Matrix for Calcification) Drops in protective hormone levels like Progesterone, with the simultaneous increase in stress hormone levels like cortisol and estrogen (This ratio matters) Control and balance these hormones through proper nutrition, micronutrient correction, and stress management and you will reverse your hair loss. Let’s look at some specific recommendations. I wanted to make sure I put together an action plan for anyone who needs to stop and find a hair loss remedy for receding hairline, hair regrowth, and baldness cure: First off, controlling excess Estrogen: to control estrogen I recommend taking the following 4 step approach: Methylate the estrogen in your system (choline and betaine) Lose extra body fat above 15% Supplement with, or up the dietary intake of Vitamin A, K2, and D Drastically reduce your exposure to estrogenics in your environment and diet If you're interested in seeing me formulate a natural supplement for hair regrowth, please sign up for the Waiting List here - https://truthnutra.com/hairloss Follow Me On Social Media: Website: https://truthnutra.com/yt Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/truthnutra/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/truthnutra/ Personal Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/_christopherwalker/ Truth Nutra Products: Shop For Supplements - https://truthnutra.com/supplements Shop For Books - https://truthnutra.com/books Shop For Apparel - https://truthnutra.com/apparel Use code "YOUTUBE" For 10% Off! 8 Signs That Indicate Problem With Thyroid Gland The thyroid, located in the neck, is a vital body gland, as it is responsible for numerous functions in the body. It produces hormones that regulate the metabolism, so the imbalance of those hormones severely affects the natural balance of the body. Yet, the thyroid dysfunction is hard to be diagnosed, as its symptoms are similar to other health issues. Therefore, it is of high importance to recognize its symptoms and solve these problems on time. These are the 8 symptoms of thyroid issues that should not be ignored: Frequent pains in the muscles or joints– This is an indication that should not be ignored, so you must visit your doctor and check whether you are experiencing thyroid issues. Bloating and swelling – Hypothyroidism can often lead to bloating. On the other hand, if you notice swelling or puffiness in the face, you should immediately check your thyroid gland. Trembling and anxiety – Sometimes, the excessive production of thyroid hormones may lead to accelerated metabolism and thus can make you feel irritated, nervous, shaky, and you can also experience concentration issues. Weight changes – Hypothyroidism can lead to unexplained weight gain, and on the other hand, hyperthyroidism can lead to rapid weight loss. Irregular menstruation – Thyroid problems can cause two kinds of abnormal menstruation: hypothyroidism leads to extremely difficult and long menstruation and hyperthyroidism causes small flow or no menstrual cycle at all. Change in mental functions – Reduced levels of thyroid hormones cause constant fatigue and feelings of tiredness and dizziness. Abnormal reaction to the temperature outside – In the case of thyroid gland disorders, people may react differently to the temperature outside than others. In the case of hyperthyroidism, people feel abnormal warmness, while the ones with hypothyroidism feel unnatural cold. Hair loss, facial pallor – The thyroid gland issues can also be manifested by hair loss, weak, brittle and dry hair. https://youtu.be/nISFLnLPoTc

See the natural formula that can improve your testosterone levels and help your hair loss issue: 🤜http://drsam.co/yt/LowerEstrogenNow Or watch the first part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRdsoOUp_hU ======================================= 🤦🏻♀️ Female Hormones Can Make Your Hair Fall - Hair Loss Part 4 ======================================= So far we’ve learned that people losing hair, are aging faster, they have lower testosterone levels - which means less muscle, energy and sex drive higher DHT levels - which means more hair loss, body hair and prostate problems. But do you know what’s the cause of these two hormonal imbalances?... It’s the increase in FEMALE hormones, primarily estrogens and more specifically, estradiol. Sadly, as estrogen levels rise, so do the other female hormones such as prolactin and even progesterone in some cases. So why is this so bad and why does it happen? WHY Is Estrogen Bad? Well, as estrogen and female hormones go up, it signals your HPTA system (Hypothalamic Pituitary Testicular Axis), to produce LESS testosterone. A man’s body doesn’t like high estrogen… that’s more for women. Because of this, it has its own, internal “estrogen inhibitor” and that’s DHT - the HAIR LOSS hormone! This is a VERY IMPORTANT concept to understand that 99% of people don’t know, so I’ll repeat it again. DHT is a natural estrogen inhibitor! So now you know why your DHT (the hair loss hormone) levels go up, it’s to lower your “high” estrogen - the REAL problem! I’m sure you’ve heard some guys being referred to as “short, fat… bald and hairy”, right? Well, the “short and fat” is from higher estrogen. The “bald and hairy” is from higher DHT. Yes, genetics plays a big role here, but our environment can make things much worse and speed up the negatives. WHY Does It Go Up? So why does estrogen go up? Well, there are lots of reasons… Unfortunately, due to modern society, there are lots of environmental, “external” reasons… Such as the foods we eat, plastics, chemicals found in everyday stuff, electronic devices and so forth. The good news is a lot of you can control, but unfortunately there’s just so many things that are out of our control or it’s just not convenient - like staying away from electronic devices. That’s not doable for most of us. Then there are “internal” reasons. Typically, as men age there is an increase in the “aromatase” enzyme, which converts testosterone to estrogen. Which explains why a man’s testosterone starts to drop in his mid 20’s and really falls in his 40’s and beyond. So, aging is a cause... Additionally, the higher your body fat, the higher your estrogen levels because your fat cells produce their own estrogen independently. And this turns into a negative cycle because the fatter you are, the more estrogen you produce… And the more estrogen you produce, the fatter you become! How Can You Lower Estrogen? It’s actually very easy since I’ve done it hundreds of times over the past two decades. Eat more natural, organic foods. Less processed foods. Limit or reduce anything with plastics, such as bottled waters and tupperware I know it’s almost impossible to reduce electronic device usage. But one thing is to NOT put your cell phone near your testicles and thus, NOT near your lap or in your pocket. Also, don’t microwave your foods, at all… especially in anything plastic! Lose body fat. And take natural estrogen inhibiting herbs such as DIM, Curcummin and White Button Mushroom Extract. These herbs work really fast and can be almost as powerful as drugs, but without any of the negative side-effects. ======================================== Thank you for watching. It could be low calories effecting your thyroid. It could be low protein (amino acids). It could be low trace minerals,or minerals. Low B-vitamin can be a problem with growing hair. Low stomach acids could prevent the absorb of protein. Hey guys I’m back and today we are going to talk about what to do if you are losing hair when you are doing keto and intermittent fasting. Most of the time when you are doing intermittent fasting and keto you are going to get your hair back and it is going to grow more and if it doesn’t, then this is what you will need to look at. If you are not consuming enough calories and is going in a low calorie diet, you will not going to have the basic nutrients the proteins of the body and the nutrients that help support the proteins, that is going to also affect the thyroid glands and you could lose your hair. Make sure that when you start including intermittent fasting that you have enough food that has enough nutrients in it, you want to consume nutrient-dense foods and make sure it is bigger. But the first nutrient that you want to make sure that you have enough of is protein. If you are consuming not enough protein that is probably why you are losing hair. If you are doing three oz. per meal, then go up to 4-5 oz. to see that it will just handle it. A lot of times when people start doing this, their hunger goes away and so they just barely eat anything and they may start showing signs of nutritional deficiency and they will have a situation where they aren’t just hungry. To clarify the don’t eat when you are hungry, at some point of the day you will just have to consume some nutrients and just increase the amount of food that you consume and make sure that it’ll fulfills the nutrient requirement. The key things is to make sure we are not doing the low calorie diet. The definition of that is not consuming enough calories that meet our nutritional needs. Especially if you are consuming foods that are not nutrient dense you are going to be in trouble with that. If you start showing signs of hair loss, nail brittleness and fatigue are really good indicators. Hair Loss on dog is a so common problem that almost every owner confronts with his dog once a year. (Here is the Link - http://bit.ly/2yhEzn0 ) There are lots of different causes. That have been tried to discussed below in a very concise manner . Sometimes hair loss on dog become so recurring that owner get exhausted spends large amount after the dog's treatment. if you know how do these problem arise you may find some solution too. Here I have given some clues on how to treat and cure common hair loss on dog problem in your home with very natural ingredients. Hair Loss on Dogs: Typical Causes and Treatments. There are lots of reasons pet dogs might lose hair (likewise called alopecia), from infection to inflammation due to parasites. A few of the more typical reasons consist of: Allergies are a frequent trigger for hair loss in pets. Like people, pet dogs can have an allergic reaction to foods, ecological triggers such as pollen, or to parasites like fleas or mites. Cushing's Disease Loss of hair in dogs may likewise be caused by hyperadrenocorticism, or Cushing's condition, a condition caused by the overproduction of the hormone cortisol. Less commonly, it is because of a growth on one of the adrenal glands. Genetics Some pet dogs are more prone to baldness than others. Bald spots on the outer ear, chest, back, thighs, or lower neck may appear in greyhounds, whippets, Chihuahuas, dachshunds, and Italian grey hounds, usually after their very first year. Infection or Problem (Ringworm, ectoparasites). Ringworm fungi, ectoparasites like mange mites, and bacteria can all cause infections that may ultimately cause bald spots on your dog. Pressure Sores. Older or heavy canines can be prone to pressure sores where their elbows or other bony parts of the body come in regular contact with tough surfaces. In time the consistent pressure has the tendency to thicken the skin, the hair falls out, and calluses form. Rashes/Hives. Insect bites and stings, medications, plants, chemicals, even hair shampoos can trigger some dogs to develop a rash or hives, which can lead to bald spots. Foreign body reaction. Glass, thorns, even a canine's own coarse hair can all trigger inflammation and bald spots if they lodge in your canine's skin. Post-clipping alopecia. For some pets, particularly densely-coated types like the Alaskan malamute, Siberian husky, and keeshond, clipping-- for instance in preparation for surgical treatment-- can cause consistent bald areas. Try to use natural treatment protocols at home for hair loss on dog. These methods are harmless and very much effective. Save your dog from harmful chemicals administration. See the natural formula that can reduce your stress and help your hair loss issue: 🤜http://drsam.co/yt/FixHairProblems Or watch the first part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRdsoOUp_hU ======================================= 👱 Can Stress Cause Baldness - Hair Loss Part 5 ======================================= So far you’ve learned that men who are losing their hair, typically have LOWER testosterone Higher DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) HIGHER female hormones (estrogen, progesterone & prolactin) Now, before I start today’s video… let me ask you a question: What hormone do you think is the “opposite” of Testosterone?... When I ask this question, most people will say “estrogen”. Which is incorrect. Actually, the opposite of testosterone is your stress hormone, cortisol! Which is a MAJOR problem and causing factor for almost everything related to aging, especially as it pertains to hair loss. As this stress hormone goes up, your testosterone drops faster than brink in your swimming pool. And this is nature's way of preventing you from “procreating” and having babies. Based on thousands of years of evolution, your body thinks that because you are under a lot of stress, there must be a shortage of food or shelter ...or some other problem which can cause death. Thus, it’s not the best time for you to have babies. So as cortisol levels go up, your testosterone drops and so does your sex drive. Additionally, stress causes inflammation in the body. And inflammation, known in pattern balding as perifollicular inflammation, plays a significant, perhaps the most significant role in hair loss. Not only does it cause major hormonal imbalances, it also signals your body to produce various “hair loss” causing factors, enzymes, peptides and so forth. Again, I want to keep things simple since I know most of us don’t care about the boring medical stuff. What we want is more head hair, better testosterone and higher sex drive So, how do we reduce cortisol? Sleep as much as your body requires. Thus, don’t wake up to an alarm clock every day. If you’re sleep deprived, go to bed earlier. Eat 5-6 small meals daily to balance your blood sugar, which helps lower cortisol. Make sure you do something every day to relax, your own personal “hour of power”. That may be going for a walk outside, getting a massage, meditating, stretching, watching something funny or even taking a quick nap. Take cortisol reducing supplements - such as 3000 mgs of Vitamin C daily, Ashwagandha extract, Rhodiola and Phosphatidylserine. ======================================== Thank you for watching. One of the symptoms of polycystic ovarian syndrome is hair loss / balding on the scalp. To cut down a rather long scientific explanation... the reason why we lose our hair is because there are too many androgens in the blood stream. This causes the hair follicle to shrink, and eventually leads to the hair falling out. I would say this is the hardest symptom we need cope with when suffering from PCOS. As acne and weight gain are more common among people who are suffering with a health problems, losing your hair is a truly frightening experience as we don't know if it will ever grow back. People kept offering me the advice "don't worry, it's just hair, you're beautiful without it." Whilst this is a loving and reassuring comment, it didn't make me feel any better about losing half the hair on my head. _______________________________________________________________ In this video I share what worked and what didn't work for me, in terms of immediate symptom relief. I dive into the fact that when it comes to hair loss, it really needs to be addressed from the root of the issue. I know we feel so desperate to stop this and we want to try any supplement on the planet that could potentially help us. Although obsessing over supplements or over the counter prescriptions is not the way to go about this, and it causes you more stress and more money. If taking a supplement (even for the placebo effect) helps you to have peace of mind, give it a go. I've made a recommendation below/in the video. The best way to know whether you're addressing the root of the issue and your body is healing ... is a healthy cycle. This means healthy ovulation. This is what we want to improve upon, as we then know the the androgen and testosterone levels are starting to decrease. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0YXso99Edg Watch this video to address healing the endocrine system from every angle. Each step is important to address when trying to reset your endocrine system leading to balanced hormones and no more hair loss. And the answer to your questions "does the hair grow back" ... YES. If you are like me, and you have been losing your hair for many years it may be hard to imagine the hair loss ever ceasing, with your hair starting to thicken again. Although I want you to start imagining this process. Imagine it is becoming thicker again (your mind is more powerful than you could ever imagine). You hair can and will grow back if you correct your endocrine system and hormonal imbalance. So yes, you have every opportunity to reverse this side effect. Now take a deep breath. Sigh out any tensions. Know that your body is correcting itself in every minute of every day. All you need to do is offer it the support it needs. Remember that your body is driving the car, you are just adding the fuel. So relax my dear ones, and trust that everything will repair itself when it needs to. Your body is doing the best it can under the circumstances it was operating in. With love, Sarah P.s these are the products I mention in the video. Saw Palmetto is a natural supplement that can improve the androgen levels in the body. This one didn't work for me, although I've read a lot of reviews that it has worked for many women. It's worth trying for 3-4 months to see if it works for you. If it doesn't, just stop taking it. Saw Palmetto - http://amzn.to/2xC9Bnc Since i've stopped losing my hair I've come to know that zinc and saw palmetto are supposedly powerful when used together, so give this one a go if it resonates. Good zinc brand: http://amzn.to/2je2iLP Castor oil is very powerful when applied to the scalp. I was making a castor oil / coconut oil hair mask 3 times a week which was definitely strengthening my hair and making me feel more confident about the hair loss. Definitely give this a go! We often get this vitamin from exposure to sunlight, but it is also obtained by eating certain foods such as fish and dairy products. Vitamin D supplementation is also popular, since getting enough of this vitamin is difficult from diet alone. Unfortunately, there are quite a few individuals who are deficient in this vitamin without even knowing it as the signs and symptoms are either subtle or not well known. Over time this could have a negative effect on an individuals quality of life. Lets discuss some signs and symptoms of vitamin D deficiency. 1. Those who are vitamin D deficient may feel more fatigued and tired. Since there are so many reasons why we can feel tired and fatigued during the day, such as lack of sleep or obesity, vitamin D deficiency is often overlooked. Vitamin D deficiency can cause daytime fatigue or even make it harder to get out of bed in the mornings, even with quality sleep. 2. Vitamin D plays an important role in keeping our immune system strong and free from different bacteria and illness. This is because vitamin D directly effects the cells that are responsible for fighting against infection. Therefore, another sign and symptom of vitamin D deficiency is getting sick more often. Low levels of vitamin D can be a contributing factor to becoming infected with cold and flus more often. As well, it has been found that taking vitamin D supplements may reduce the risk of certain respiratory tract infections. 3. Another possible symptom of vitamin D deficiency is bone and lower back pain. Vitamin D is an important vitamin for maintaining overall bone health. It supports bone health and helps with the body’s absorption of calcium. It has been found that those individuals with a vitamin D deficiency were more like to have back pain which often limited their daily activities. As well, they were also more likely to have bone pain through out their bodies, such as in their legs and joints. A deficiency in this vitamin will not only cause bone pain, but it can also cause bone loss since it not only helps with calcium absorption, but also bone metabolism. This can lead to lower bone mineral density. 4. Vitamin D deficiency may also negatively effect our mood. Feelings of depression may be a sign of vitamin D deficiency. This has often been linked to older adults. By being deficient in this vitamin, it may also cause seasonal depression during the colder months, when exposure to sunlight is limited. Depression and all mental health symptoms are complex and should be discussed with your medical practitioner to determine its exact cause and remedy. 5. Lastly, another sign and symptom of vitamin D deficiency may be hair loss. When hair loss is severe, this can be the result of nutrient deficiency. Hair loss may be a sign of vitamin D deficiency in female-patten hair loss. As well, there have been links found between low levels of vitamin D and alopecia areata, and low levels of this vitamin may be a risk factor for developing this autoimmune disease which can effect hair loss. Be sure to discuss any of the above signs and symptoms with your medical practitioner to determine their exact cause and also to discuss the correct amount of vitamin D you should be taking daily to support your health. Male AGA results from the effect of androgens on susceptible hair follicles in men who are genetically susceptible to the condition. The role of androgens in male AGA was first appreciated by Hamilton in 1942. He observed that males castrated before puberty never developed patterned baldness. If these men were given exogenous androgens, baldness could develop. Testosterone is transformed to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by the enzyme 5a-reductase. This enzymatic reaction occurs in the hair follicle in addition to other sites in the body. DHT binds to follicular receptors and results in follicular miniaturization in susceptible scalp follicles. The mechanism of the follicular miniaturization is unknown. The follicles in men with AGA can be markedly reduced in size and resemble primary vellus follicles. The total number of follicles remains the same until late in the disease when there may be a slight reduction in follicular density. Susceptibility to developing male AGA may result from the genetic inheritance of the concentration of androgen receptors and the amount of 5a-reductase found in the follicle. The inheritance pattern of male AGA is not known, but it may be autosomal dominant with incomplete penetrance or polygenic.

Long story short, the hair follicle requires glucose to metabolically function and actually grow hair. http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.513.2204&rep=rep1&type=pdf Hair follicles are already inefficient organs, however in the absence of readily available glucose, they become extremely poor. Hair follicles require oxygen and fuel from either glucose, fructose, or pyruvate for hair to grow. In the absence of these fuels, fatty acids or ketone bodies were found to not be able to sustain hair growth. I was actually completely blown away when I searched on YouTube for the subject of Keto ketogenic diet and Hair Loss and found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufnFuwB7aCA Apparently so many people had written in wanting help on the subject of losing their hair on the keto diet that it prompted this video. His recommendation btw was to eat more calories (from the keto diet nonetheless) and eat more protein. Hmm. No mention of cortisol from the stress of the keto diet, increased estrogen production from the excess free fatty acids in the bloodstream, high prolactin, and poor thyroid function. Anyways, I scrolled through the comments and couldn’t believe my eyes. I definitely wanted to show this to you in case you’re currently on the keto diet, you’ll probably want to reconsider that based on how it lowers your thyroid function while simultaneously starving your hair follicles of the fuel they need. So let’s sum this all up: The Androgen Hypothesis for hair loss is completely unscientific and not based in any kind of complete reality. It has been manipulated from the beginning by the pharmaceutical industry in order to sell more drugs Hair loss in humans, not just men, but men, women, and children across the board is caused by: High estrogen High cortisol High prolactin Low thyroid function All of these are caused by micronutrient deficiencies, chronic stress, and exposure to estrogenics through the environment and certain food sources (basically a high estrogen load) and with storage in excess body fat tissue Drops in protective hormones like progesterone, which highlights that this is ratio dependent. The ratio of stress hormones to protective hormones. And when stress hormones increase while protective hormones simultaneously drop, then things get really bad. low carb Follow Me On Social Media: Website: https://truthnutra.com/yt Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/truthnutra/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/truthnutra/ Personal Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/_christopherwalker/ Truth Nutra Products: Shop For Supplements - https://truthnutra.com/supplements Shop For Books - https://truthnutra.com/books Shop For Apparel - https://truthnutra.com/apparel Use code "YOUTUBE" For 10% Off! It seems like once or twice a year I’m shaving my head to help raise money for cancer research and at every fundraiser, the question seems to come up- Why does the common treatment for cancer make body hair fall out? The answer is really pretty simple. It has to do with how different types of Chemotherapy target cancer cells. There are many different Chemotherapy drugs that work in different ways, so I will only speak in general terms regarding their side effects.
