How to Heal Faster After Having a Tooth Removed
So you just had a tooth removed. The dentist probably rattled off a list of directions for you to follow but was talking way to fast and may have confused you with all the information thrown at you after an anxiety producing experience. I try to avoid the information overload with my patients but it's not always successful. Today's video goes into detail about what to do after having a tooth pulled so you can listen again in the comfort of your own home if you are confused. I've also posted the printed directions we give to our patients summarizing the most important things to do to promote faster healing.  Apply pressure with gauze to stop the bleeding After tooth extraction, it’s important for a blood clot to form to stop the bleeding and begin the healing process. That’s why we ask you to bite on a gauze pad for 30-45 minutes after the appointment. If the bleeding or oozing still persists, place another gauze pad and bite firmly for another 30 minutes. You may have to do this several times. If you run out of gauze, you may take a tea bag of any kind and firmly bite down on it for 30 minutes. Pink or blood-tinged saliva may be seen for 2-3 days following the surgery and does not indicate a problem. Minimize swelling to minimize discomfort Swelling is the body’s normal reaction to surgery and healing. An ice pack or an unopened bag of frozen peas or corn applied to the area will keep swelling to a minimum. Apply the ice to the outside of the face, 20 minutes on and then 20 minutes off, while awake for the first 24 hours. After the first 24 hours, stop using ice and use a warm moist heat compresses to relieve swelling and aid in muscle discomfort. The swelling will begin to decrease after the third day. Pain medication Unfortunately, it is normal to experience mild to moderate pain after a tooth extraction. Try to take some pain medication before the numbness wears off. Ibuprofen (Advil) or naproxen (Aleve), are both good over the counter medications to take that will also help to minimize swelling. Dr. Kamodia recommends 600mg of ibuprofen (3 tablets) every 6 hours for the first 3 days. If that is not providing enough pain relief, alternating the ibuprofen with extra strength Tylenol (500mg) will help. How to promote faster healing After the blood clot forms, it is important not to disturb or dislodge the clot as it aids healing. Do NOT smoke, suck on straws, or rinse vigorously for one week. These activities will dislodge or dissolve the clot and retard the healing process. Limit vigorous exercise for the next 24-48 hours as this will increase blood pressure and may cause more bleeding from the extraction site. Diet Your first day will consist of soft, cool foods such as: yogurt, applesauce, mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, and ice cream. Soup is a great option as long as it is room temperature. Avoid foods like nuts, sunflower seeds, popcorn, chips etc., which may get lodged in the socket. Focus on drinking lots of fluids and eating soft, nutritious foods. Long term healing The best way to prevent infection and ensure healing is to keep your mouth clean. Clean your mouth thoroughly after each meal beginning the day after surgery by rinsing GENTLY with warm salt water. Use a soft bristle toothbrush and toothpaste every morning and night to keep your teeth and the extraction site clean. This will speed healing and help keep your mouth fresh. After a few days you should feel fine and can resume your normal activities. If you have heavy bleeding, severe pain, or swelling that is not decreasing after 3 days please call our office immediately—(607)-785-1900.

Healing Tips After Teeth Extractions
www.carolinaoral.com The healing process is a unique experience for every patient. How well and how quickly you heal depends on many different factors, including your health, age, the tissue health surrounding the surgical site, the type of surgery needed and how well you take care of yourself post-operatively. Most people need 2-3 days of recovery before getting back to their regular routine. Some may need an additional day or two to rebound and regain their strength. During the first 24 hours after your extractions, you’ll want to avoid any activities that might make it difficult to control the bleeding from your extraction site, or interfere with the blood clot formation and retention. Too much activity early on can cause a delay in your recovery. Avoid excessive exertion, working out, athletic competition, band and choir participation for 3 to 4 days. If you feel weak, have increased pain, swelling, or bleeding, give yourself an additional day or two of rest. If IV sedation was administered, you will need a responsible adult to be with you for at least 5 hours upon returning home. You should not be left unattended. You may also need support if you try to stand up or walk while you are still feeling the effects of the anesthesia. Do not drive, drink alcohol, or operate any kind of machinery for 24 hours after anesthesia. While you are in surgery, an assistant will meet with your escort and review important instructions of how they should take care of you for the remainder of the day. We will also review with them how to use the items included in the home care kit we provide and your prescribed medications. Medication will either be sent to your pharmacy electronically or you may receive written prescriptions which will be placed in your home care kit. Your escort will stop at the pharmacy to fill these prescriptions before taking you home. After your surgery, your mouth will still feel numb from the local anesthesia. This will help keep you comfortable and pain free for the next few hours. During the first hour after your arrive home you should do 5 things. Number 1, wash your hands thoroughly and remove the gauze. Number 2, Drink plenty fluids. This can be water, tea or Gatorade. Third, is to eat. We recommend you follow the recommended post-operative food list which was included with your post-operative instructions. Number 4, take your pain medication. And finally number 5 is to get plenty of rest. The most severe discomfort usually occurs the first six hours after the local anesthetic has worn off. It’s important that you follow these 5 steps and you take your medication while you are still numb. We find that patients do better when they take their medications on a schedule and stay ahead of the pain. It is possible that slight bleeding may reoccur. If necessary, place fresh gauze packs over the surgical site that is actively bleeding and bite very firmly for at least thirty minutes. It is both firm pressure and maintaining this pressure over a prolonged period of time that will help stop the bleeding. It will also help if you sit upright and remain quiet. When you sleep or lie down, position yourself so that your head is above the level of your heart. You can prop your head up with an extra pillow. This position will lower the blood pressure level at your head end, which is a favorable thing to reduce bleeding. Avoid spitting or using straws, as they can cause bleeding by creating suction in the mouth. If there is no active bleeding the gauze should not be replaced. If you are still unable to control the bleeding, call your oral surgeon. Additional information on this topic is included in the video titled “Bleeding After Surgery”. Often there is some swelling after an oral surgery procedure. You can minimize the potential for swelling by using cold packs wrapped in a towel during the first 24 hours. This should be applied to the face next to the surgical area for 20 minutes at a time. Remove the cold compress and wait 20 minutes before reapplying. Remember 20 minutes on 20 minutes off. For the rest of the first day, do not brush, rinse or spit. The next morning after surgery, you can brush your teeth with a new, soft bristle toothbrush. You will clean the surgical sites using the pink sponge applicator from your home care kit. You should also begin gentle rinses with the Peridex twice a day and alternate with body temperature salt water rinses after every meal. Please avoid smoking for at least 3 days and avoid chewing tobacco until the surgical sites are completely healed. Patients who use tobacco experience a longer recovery period and a higher level of complications.

After a tooth extraction, your dentist will place a gauze on the wound to stop the bleeding. -Take medicine for the pain. Use only the medications prescribed by your dentist. If your oral surgeon has not provided you with a prescription for pain relievers, you may take an over-the-counter pain reliever. -Use an ice pack. Dental disaster? Michigan woman dies after getting 16 teeth pulled at the dentist - TomoNews
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN — A Michigan woman passed away last Friday after she had 16 teeth removed in one go during a trip to the dentist to treat an infection. April Walters, 46, who was reliant on an oxygen machine because of health problems, was feeling anxious about a trip to the dentist. According to Fox 2 Detroit, Walters suffered from sarcoidosis, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary high blood pressure as well as diabetes. Prior to the procedure, Walters had a heart rate of 130 bpm, spurring a dental assistant at Southfield Dental Care to suggest waiting for Walters' heart rate to come down before they continued with the procedure. The dentist, however, allegedly didn't think waiting was necessary, Walters' daughter told Fox 2 Detroit. After the dentist pulled 16 out of the 18 teeth that Walters needed to have pulled, the dentist decided to stop for the day. She then advised Walters to go to the hospital because Walters' heart rate was still so high. Shortly after Walters' sister and her brother-in-law arrived to pick her up from the dentist office, Walters started to have trouble breathing and passed out. It was assumed that her oxygen tank had run out, so they ran into the office to get more oxygen. However, that didn't help and Walters could not be revived, reported Fox 2 Detroit. An autopsy will be done and the dentist's office is currently investigating the incident in order to understand how a woman died so suddenly on their doorstep. ------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets. Post-Operative Instructions: Wisdom Teeth Removal | Provo UT | Utah Surgical Arts
Post-Operative Instructions: Wisdom Teeth Removal | Provo UT | Utah Surgical Arts - http://utahsurgicalarts.com This video will cover important information regarding proper postsurgical care for wisdom teeth extraction. If you can scheduled to have your wisdom teeth removed, it will be important to follow these instructions exactly as we present them. • Discomfort is normal after extraction of wisdom teeth. If you are not allergic or intolerant to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, start taking ibuprofen (also known as Advil or Motrin) as instructed by your doctor at the time of your surgery. If your pain is not controlled by the ibuprofen alone, take your prescribed narcotic in addition. Ibuprofen and your prescribed narcotic can be taken together. • Be certain to take your pain medications with food. This will help prevent nausea. • If you have been given an irrigating syringe, start irrigation one week following surgery. Fill the syringe with warm saltwater and place the tip of the syringe into the extraction site to clean. Do this three to four times a day for two weeks and lessen as the surgical site heals. Swelling is normal after surgery and is a major cause of post extraction discomfort. Swelling typically peaks by the third day and then starts to resolve. It can be reduced by the use of an ice pack. Apply the ice pack to the side of your face for fifteen minutes. Transfer it to the opposite side for another fifteen minutes. Continue taking the face for the first twenty four hours. Do not freeze the skin. Ice packs are useful for the first twenty four hours only. Also, keep your head elevated onto pillows for two to three days. These measures will not eliminate swelling, but they help to reduce its severity. • To help with medication tolerance, we recommend that you eat right away after your surgery. Start with clear liquids such as broth gradually ramp up your diet as tolerated. Always cool down any hot foods or liquids during the first twenty four hours. If you were sedated for surgery, do not eat fatty, creamy, or oily foods. These foods may cause nausea. You should eat only city only soft foods for the first two to three days. For example, soup, eggs, mashed potatoes, and meatloaf are fine. • To help prevent dry socket, do not use a straw for the first week after surgery. Begin brushing your teeth the day after surgery. It is important to brush all of your teeth, ven if the teeth and gums are sensitive. Bacterial plaque and food accumulation near the extraction site will delay healing. • Do not smoke for at least a week. Smoking will increase your bleeding. The nicotine and tar in tobacco impairs healing and may cause a dry socket. • Unless told otherwise, do no vigorous physical activity for three days following your surgery. Physical activity increases your blood pressure which will cause an increase in your swelling, pain, and bleeding. You gradually increase your activity after jogging or tennis, five to seven days after your surgery. If you have any additional questions, please call our office. Our staff wants to help you in any way we can to make your postoperative recovery successful. Thank you. Sepsis Symptoms – What it is and How to Never Get It!
Click on the link below for a free video guide to dietary supplements and alternative medicine! http://utahtexans.com/ Some of the most common sepsis symptoms, what it is and how someone can not get it. Our bodies are under constant threat and if a bad guy gets through our defenses then an infection happens where the enemy grows inside us. Most of the time when this happens our immune system takes it down. With the disease Sepsis this infection gets out of hand. For example if a bacteria that causes the infection goes into the blood stream it could travel and this is really bad because it spreads. To me it reminds me of cancer, you don't want cancer to hit the bloodstream because it can grow much quicker just like an infection. Some people call this blood poisoning when bacteria enters the blood stream. If you have an infection on your skin what happens? It gets red, maybe hot, it grows, think of a pimple. This is called inflammation and too much of it is bad. It's a major cause of pain, aging and ailments. With sepsis this inflammation happens all over the body, blood pressure drops and blood doesn't go to where it's needed. Blood equals life and therefore cells can die and it can lead to a complete collapse of your body. In serious cases someone can die within hours. You might be wondering how do you know if someone has Sepsis. In the early stages this disease looks a lot like a bad case of the flu. This includes fever and chills there could be diarrhea, vomiting a runny nose, headaches and coughing. Of course when something is serious such as this disease your body is going to let you know with different symptoms. There is an acronym to help you remember the signs. Sever shortness of breath, think of suffocating you can't breath. Extremely cold hands or feet Palpitations or a racing heart Slurred speech I have never felt so bad Shivering uncontrollable If you feel for a second something is not right go get help because it could be serious. To prevent sepsis it really comes down to keeping your immune system strong. This is more important in the elderly and very young. Yea someone over the age of 65 is 10 times more likely to get it. Wash you hands frequently, get plenty of rest, drink lots of water. Another idea is there are multivitamins that contain many natural antibiotic herbs such as olive leaf extract.

Wisdom Teeth Removal June 13th 2017
Woke up at 3:45 feeling thirsty and hungry but then fell asleep and kept on waking up and falling asleep all the way until 8. Then my mom and I drove to the surgery building where we had to wait for 30 minutes and then they call us back. When I was back there they took my blood pressure and stuck an IV in me and then the lady said she was going to put some "happy juice" in me. The next thing I know I'm in the car driving home with my mom and she tells me to stop talking. I don't remember most of the video she took but she told me I was crying and I was constantly trying to smile for the camera and rubbing my face. Also by the time I got home I felt like I could control what I was saying. Later on it started hurting pretty bad and my mom got me Jeremiah ice. So far I've ate 1 egg, 2 vanilla pudding cups, cookie and cream milk shake, and 1 medium cookie butter shaved ice. Pray for a speedy recovery. Thanks for reading.

Managing Dental Anxiety with IV Sedation
I'm a dentist. What that means for me on a daily basis is that somebody like yourself tells me that you don't like coming to see me. I get that every single day and I get it. I understand that it can be a stressful thing, it can be a scary thing, it can be an uncomfortable thing to have dentistry done. We understand that. The good news is we can also make it a very, very easy experience for you here. And the reason I say is because we offer I.V. sedation here. That's something where you may have heard of twilight sleep or conscious sedation. The reason it's called those, conscious sedation or twilight sleep, is because it's not general anesthesia. General anesthesia is very, very deep. It's much more serious and much more risky. There are absolutely good indications for that. You need a surgery in an OR, that's what general anesthesia is for, absolutely. I.V. sedation, it's very safe because we can reverse everything we give you, so we can wake you up like that if we want to. It's called a conscious sedation which is terrible term for it because you're snoozing right through the procedure, but the conscious part means that your body's safety faculties are still there. So you can talk to us and say, "Hey, I'm uncomfortable," or, "I'm waking up," or whatever. You can't have that "I'm trapped in my body and I can't tell the surgeon that I'm awake" kind of thing with I.V. sedation. So that's a common question I get, so don't worry about that. So you don't ever remember those conversations. We can ask you to scoot up in the chair or turn to the right or whatever, and you just are kind of cruising right through it and not having any idea that took place. So the reason that we like to offer that for not just surgery, because we do it for anything if you want to, really, is because we know how much people don't like being in our chair. And that's okay. And if I'm doing oral surgery, it's a great way to have surgery done because you can forget the whole process, right? But it also allows me to give you things in the I.V. that make your first few days much more comfortable--things that minimize swelling and discomfort for about 48 hours, things that keep you comfortable for longer that first day. Also, the reason it was brought into dentistry is actually because it makes it even safer for certain people in the population--meaning, folks who have a cardiac history. A lot of times dentistry can be stressful, and people's blood pressure gets elevated when they come to see us. That is not what we want to do. We want you to have a very low-key, enjoyable experience. So the safety party for sedation is for a cadio-protective approach, if you will, where if you've had a history of a heart attack or a stroke, a very high blood pressure, that sedation allows your blood pressure to maintain at a very safe level, and even if it did elevate, then I can give you something in the I.V. that immediately makes it drop down to its safe level again. So it's there for your protection, your enjoyment, your comfort. It makes it easy for us to work, and it makes a very long day sometimes seem like it's a very, very short day because it kind of deletes your perception of time. So it's a really pleasant way to have dentistry done no matter what the procedure is. And we can do it, like I said, as a tag-team approach where if you're getting that cosmetic procedure done, say like veneers, where I'm more like your anesthesiologist for day, keeping you sleeping right through it. Or if it's a natural surgery procedure, we've got you covered there, too. So come talk to us about it. It is something that's pretty unique. About 4% of dentists in Georgia have a license for sedation. So we're a little hard to find sometimes. But we offer it here, and I'd love to talk more about it with you in person.

In the recovery room after I got my wisdom teeth out. Loopy, funny!
I don't remember any of this. Before the surgery I was mad because I forgot Chapstick so I was hoping they would put Vaseline on my lips so they wouldn't get chapped and they did. And for some reason, the blood pressure thing kept scaring me. Go onto my profile for more loopy videos!

15 Foods That Reduce Your Heart Attack Risk by 80%
Do you want to clean your blood vessels? How to decrease the risk of heart attacks in the future? Are you ready to improve your overall well-being? Here are 15 food products that can take care of your heart and prevent heart diseases. Our heart is one of the most important organs, but, surprisingly, we take care of it the least, loading it every day with stress and unhealthy diets. And that's too bad because fatty food increases cholesterol levels, which leads to vascular plaques that prevent the heart from working correctly. In this video, you will get familiar with 15 products that perform all these activities! Some of them might surprise you with their health benefits! Watch till the end - as a bonus, you will find a recipe for a special drink for healthy blood vessels. And remember to press the like button in appreciation of our work! TIMESTAMPS Fatty fish 1:05 Oatmeal 1:51 Berries 2:30 Dark chocolate 3:19 Nuts 4:00 Extra virgin olive oil 4:45 Red wine 5:23 Green tea 5:53 Broccoli and spinach 6:35 Avocado 7:39 Pomegranate 8:13 Cinnamon 8:43 Watermelon 9:14 Garlic 9:43 Apples and pears 10:28 SUMMARY - Salmon, mackerel, herring, haddock, and other fatty fish decrease the risk of arrhythmia and atherosclerosis. They also contain lots of vitamins as well as minerals. - Rich in fiber, porridge decreases the levels of "bad" cholesterol and improves digestion. Coarse oatmeal is the healthiest. - Blueberries and strawberries are very good at lowering blood pressure and dilating blood vessels. Strawberry-lovers also get fiber, folate, antioxidants, and potassium from their favorite berries. - Dark chocolate provides the anti-stress effect as it increases the production of serotonin which is known for its calming effect. Cocoa, the main component of dark chocolate, also helps to prevent memory decline. - Nuts contain protein fibers that are useful for the heart. They also have vitamin E as their ingredient which helps to decrease the levels of "bad" cholesterol. - Olive oil is very high in oleic acid which reduces blood pressure. It is interesting that when the olives are crashed, oil leaves them naturally; therefore, beneficial ingredients and vitamins are not harmed by chemicals or preservatives. - French scientists have also found out that red wine contains some elements which can prolong a human lifespan for about 60 percent! Saying this, it still should be consumed in moderation. - Green tea makes the brain function better. This drink may decrease the risk of different types of cancer (such as prostate and breast cancer). - Broccoli, in particular, has a lot of medicinal benefits, such as prevention of some kinds of cancer, digestive system improvement, detoxification of the body. It also resembles a vitamin injection, filling you with numerous vitamins and minerals. - Avocados are packed with fiber, which can be useful for weight loss, blood sugar reduction, and other health-benefitting processes. - Pomegranates contain antioxidants, lower blood pressure, normalize blood circulation and increase hemoglobin levels. - Cinnamon can protect you from heart diseases and atherosclerosis. It also boosts metabolism and helps you to lose weight. - Watermelon plays an important role in vascular health. It stabilizes the cholesterol levels and contains antioxidants. It provides hydration, which is a great thing for your body. - Garlic dilates the vessels, lowers blood pressure, alleviates vasoconstriction, and prevents atherosclerotic plaques from appearing. It improves digestion as well, assisting in the functioning of the intestines. - Apples and pears are rich in fiber that helps your heart. They normalize blood circulation and are cheaper and more readily available alternatives to pomegranates. Besides, apples will help to maintain white and healthy teeth. Mouth And Jaw Exercises for AFTER oral Surgery. Quick Healing Oral Exercise Routine.

After your wisdom tooth removal surgery or oral surgery, it is helpful to use some effective and easy mouth exercises for faster pain relief. These simple mouth exercises not only help you reduce the pain, but also decrease the swelling of your jaw and allow for faster recovery. As ALWAYS check with your doctor and dentist before beginning any exercise routine. You can also ask your dentist for more recommended exercises, but here are some the general ones that are safe to use - even a day after your tooth extraction surgery. 1. Opening and Closing Your Mouth Slowly. The day after the procedure, you will notice when your jaw is still for a while, your muscles will be more swollen and harder to move. This may especially feel more obvious early in the morning, since your mouth hasn't moved overnight. So to be able to open your mouth and speak or eat more easily, you can practice exercising the muscles gradually. 2. Neck Stretches Side to Side. Gently tilt your head to the side bringing your ear towards your shoulder stretching down the side of your neck. You can add a mouth stretch by opening and closing your mouth while doing this. 3. Sphinx pose. Lay on your belly with your forearms under your torso. Tilt your head up and down while in this position. Stretches your lower back, chest, neck, and jaw. 4. Smiling. Try alternating opening the mouth and smiling to bring movement back to the face, jaw, and mouth. Smiling not only helps you recover faster - it helps you feel better too :) The best treatment for jaw stiffness from oral surgery is often as simple as doing these jaw exercises. Slow, passive stretching, multiple times a day, has proven to be effective in limiting stiffness, swelling and pain. But when I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed I couldnt find any suggested exercises to do post surgery to feel better!! So I invented my own. The above exercises are from my personal experience with oral surgery and helped me recover quickly. I highly recommend following these helpful healing moves to maximize the surgery recovery process. Not only will you be able to recuperate faster, so you can get back to the enjoyable task of living each day to your full capability, you'll also be able to make it through your surgery recovery more easily. I believe that through quality nutrition, movement, and positive thoughts you CAN heal your life. Here's wishing us the best of health, now and always. For The Heart From The Heart
Ingredients mentioned in this video with their descriptions: Taurine 500mgs - Taurine may facilitate the transport of Potassium into and out of the body's Cells and may help to prevent and treat Cardiomyopathy. Taurine concentrates in the Heart references and (5000-6000 mg per day of supplemental Taurine) may alleviate Ischemic Heart Disease. By normalizing Potassium flow into and out of Cardiac Muscle cells, Taurine normalizes the electrical excitability of the Cell Membranes of Cardiac Muscle and enhances the contractile strength of the Cardiac Muscle. Taurine modulates the activity of cyclic AMP within Cardiac Muscle. Persons who have experienced a Heart Attack often exhibit very low Taurine levels subsequent to their Heart Attack (indicating that supplemental Taurine may be highly advisable for persons who have experienced a Heart Attack). Taurine may also help to prevent a Heart Attack as it may help prevent potentially lethal Arrhythmias after Heart Attacks. Taurine is the most abundant and most important Amino Acid in the Heart (it is present in the Heart in greater quatities than all other Amino Acids combined). Taurine (6000 mg per day) may lower Blood Pressure in Hypertension patients (by suppressing Renin-Angiotensin). It usually requires four weeks of daily supplementation with Taurine before its Blood Pressure lowering effects occur. Magnesium Citrate or Malate - Magnesium may exert antispasmodic effects on Blood Vessels. Magnesium supplementation may improve Heart function in Cardiomyopathy patients. It may also be beneficial for the treatment of Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Magnesium may prevent and treat most types of Cardiovascular Diseases. Approximately 85% of Mitral Valve Prolapse patients exhibit Magnesium deficiency and oral Magnesium supplementation (600-1800 mg per day) may alleviate many cases of Mitral Valve Prolapse. Magnesium supplementation may provide significant protection against Strokes (the Blood Vessels that supply the Brain are prone to vascular spasm during Magnesium deficiency and these vascular spasms that occur during Magnesium deficiency may result in a Stroke. With Magnesium supplementation, the Cerebral Arteries may relax and Blood Circulation to the Brain may improve). Magnesium (administered within six hours after the occurrence of a Stroke) may reduce the after-effects of Strokes. 100mgs and Potassium citrate 99mgs--this will regulate the heart and initially use each dose of each 3 times per day. Potassium is a very important mineral for the proper function of all cells, tissues, and organs in the human body. It is also an electrolyte (a substance that conducts electricity in the body) along with sodium, chloride, calcium and magnesium. Potassium is crucial to heart function and plays a key role in skeletal and smooth muscle contractions making it important for normal digestive and muscular function. Other studies show that increasing potassium intake reduces the risk of dying from cardiovascular disease. Researchers suspect that this is largely due to potassium's blood pressure lowering effects. Hawthorn Leaf - may improve the utilization of Oxygen by the Cardiac Muscle and improves Blood Circulation to the Cardiac Muscle. Hawthorn may prevent and treat many Cardiovascular Diseases. Hawthorn (pretreatment) may minimize the Brain damage that occurs after the occurrence of an ischemic Stroke. It may also protect the Heart against Hypoxia. Hawthorn may alleviate Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) by increasing the strength of Cardiac Muscle contractions and increasing blood circulation to the heart and by reducing the resistance of blood circulation in peripheral tissue. Hawthorn may also improve the production of energy within the heart and may improve the contrations of the heart muscle wall (the Myocardium) allowing it to more efficiently pump blood through the body and also protects the heart against Hypoxia. Hawthorn and Ginger Root may increase the contraction strength of the heart and may improve Energy production in the heart (due to its ability to increase the production of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) by the heart. Recipe: to make a tea, take about a 3 inch slice of ginger--peel and chop--and add equal amounts of either Hawthorn Berry or Leaf and bring to a boil. Or, you can percolate this or take the same portions and and extract them in alcohol. Olive Oil - Visioli and Galli reported that Oleuropein shows anti-athergenic activity. In 2003, Carluccio MA et al. reported that oleuropein reduces monocytoid cell adhesion to stimulated endothelium as well as vascular cell adhesion molecule-1. Reflow in ischemic hearts was accompanied by a prompt release of oxidized glutathione in ischemic hearts pretreated with oleuropein. This release was significantly reduced and was accompanied by prevention of membrane lipid peroxidation, which is considered a key factor in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.

Orlando Health Cardiologists Explain New Blood Pressure Guidelines
Recently, the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology published new blood pressure guidelines. The new reading for high blood pressure is 130 mm Hg and higher for the systolic blood pressure measurement, or readings of 80 and higher for the diastolic measurement. That is a change from the old definition of 140/90 and higher, reflecting complications that can occur at those lower numbers. By lowering the definition of high blood pressure, the guidelines recommend earlier intervention to prevent further increases in blood pressure and the complications of hypertension. Cardiologists from the Orlando Health Heart Institute discuss what it all means for better heart health.

Here’s a list of 5 effective home remedies that will help you improve your vision naturally and boost your eyes. These remedies you most likely have at home have proven their effectiveness over centuries. Aloe vera is effective enough even when used alone, but we’ll spice it up with following ingredients: 1 lb of ground walnuts, 300 ml of pure honey and freshly squeezed juice from 4 lemons. -Ginkgo biloba can help relieve anxiety and boost your memory and thinking process, which is especially good for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s. As for our vision, it’s great at increasing blood flow to the eyes. -Green tea is rich in antioxidants called flavonoids, which fight off free radicals that can cause a number of eye diseases, like glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts. -Bilberries improve nighttime vision, and help regenerate important parts of the retina, which can be damaged because of high blood pressure and diabetes. -Raw almonds are a natural source of omega-3 fatty acid, vitamin E and antioxidants, all of which are great at improving vision. What you have to do is soak 5 to 10 nuts overnight. When you wake up in the morning, peel and grind them. after wisdom teeth removal
I just a few Valium, local anesthetic and nitrous. I wish I could have been fully under so I would have a "is this real life" type video. Oh well, this extraction was way better than the one I had to have removed a few years ago. Back then I only had local anesthetic and it was the most intense pressure I've ever felt in my life. While getting my wisdom teeth removed I was listening to some music. Rocky Top Tennessee came on and I could hear the dentist humming and singing along to it. lol
