Well, let’s talk about it. In the B vitamin family there are eight members. Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9 and B12 I’m surprised that so few people know that supplementing with a good vitamin b complex actually can be really helpful for reducing anxiety levels. Vitamin B12, for example, is very important for the regulation of stress and anxiety responses because it is highly involved in the function of the central nervous system. Vitamin B12 along with vitamin B9 is one of the major players for (maintaining the health and correct functioning of the nerve cells.). Vitamin B12 is also a key player in neurotransmitter signaling and if we have low levels of vitamin B12 our thinking processes and cognitive functions can not work as well as they should. This will often result in depression, anxiety or stress. And speaking of low levels...some experts estimate that over 30% of people in the United States are deficient in this vitamin. Vitamin B For Anxiety | Using a Vitamin B Complex to Help With Anxiety Then we have vitamin B9 which has a key role in the production of serotonin in our brains. Serotonin is what we call a neurotransmitter and having healthy levels of serotonin makes us feel relaxed, safe, satisfied AND it even makes us have higher self esteem.... ...kind of funny how a chemical in the brain can give us better self esteem but that’s just the way it works...we humans are pretty funny creatures. You probably heard about serotonin as there are anxiety and depression drugs that targets the serotonin system. for example SSRI’s.(selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. And SSRI’s are frequently safe, satisfied AND it even makes us have higher self esteem. So if we can find healthy alternatives to those nast drugs...then hey, I’m all for it! Using A vitamin B complex for anxiety There was an interesting double-blind, randomized and placebo controlled study made on 60 people. They put the participants on a three month vitamin B regimen and the results showed that the people who supplemented with a vitamin B complex noticed a significant reduced anxiety levels at work. This particular study was aimed at workplace related anxiety but there are other studies that shows the same stress reduction in “non-work” situations as well. I want to tell you about my friend. Just like me,she also suffers from anxiety and depression. Today I'm going to answer the question, is vitamin B complex good for diabetes. Most vitamins, minerals, nutrients, etc we need we can get from foods. However, in our world of getting things now, many of the foods that house these items are slowly disappearing from the shelves. When it comes to Vitamin B, we discuss the word “complex.” This simply means something with every B vitamin in it. How many B vitamins are there? Well, there are 8. Each one has different ways in which they help the body. Some maintain healthy skin and muscle tone, others enhance your immune and nervous system functions, while still others promote cell growth and division. The eight B vitamins are B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, and B12 - and they all have other names that you're probably more familiar with.
