Regular Milk, Organic Milk & Raw Milk (What is the Difference?)

03:57
Raw milk is considered to be “raw” because it isn’t pasteurized. Pasteurization is essentially the process used to heat the milk quickly in order to kill any harmful bacteria that may be present and contribute to foodborne illness. Those with a potentially suppressed immune system such as children, the elderly, and pregnant women should not drink raw milk as they are at risk for becoming seriously ill from bacteria in the raw milk. The process of pasteurization does not remove nutrition from the milk and raw milk does not have more nutrition than milk which is pasteurized. Moving on, is there a nutritional difference between organic milk vs. regular milk? Organic milk is organic because the cows are fed feed which is organic and usually non-GMO or free from genetically modified organisms. There is also a potential that the cows on an organic farm are treated a bit better in their living conditions. If you look at the label of these two types of milk, you will notice that there is the same amount of calories, fat, protein, and sugar in each. One glass of whole milk, whether it is organic or not, will have about 150 calories and the same amounts of the other macronutrients and micronutrients as non-organic milk. Therefore, for those reasons, one type isn’t better than the other. However, if you are looking for an alternative to dairy or cow’s milk because of a food allergy or otherwise, soy and hemp milk are good alternatives. Soy milk will provide a good source of protein per serving, along with isoflavones. Hemp milk will also provide a good source of protein. After all, one of the benefits of cow’s milk is that it can be a good source of protein. Read the full article here (https://healthyhints.com/organic-milk-vs-regular-milk) ----- Hey guys, it’s Vanessa, the registered dietician from Healthy Hints, here talking about organic milk versus raw milk versus regular, non-organic milk. Is there a difference? What is the difference? I want to jump right in and talk about raw milk. Raw milk is raw, because it’s not pasteurized. Pasteurization is the process where they take a lot of heat, and they basically flash heat the milk to kill harmful bacteria and harmful organisms that lead to foodborne illness. If you are an elderly person, a pregnant woman, you have a child, usually those three different categories of people have a suppressed immune system. You wouldn’t want to give raw milk to somebody with a suppressed immune system for that reason, because they are going to have a higher risk of developing that foodborne illness that could potentially be in your raw milk. And for that reason, I would not recommend raw milk. It also does not have additional vitamins and minerals in it. Pasteurization does not kill or affect the nutritional quality of milk. Moving on, I’ve got organic milk and regular, non-organic milk with me right now. They are both from the same store, and they’re both whole milk. If you look at the label of these, they’re actually identical. They have the same calories, 150 calories per 8 ounce serving. They’ve got the same amount of protein. They’ve got the same amount of carbohydrates and the same amount of lactose, which, lactose is the naturally occurring milk sugar in milk. What is the difference between organic and non-organic milk? Organic milk, the cows that produce organic milk are going to have feed that is organic feed. They’re going to have feed that is free of genetically modified organisms, and that’s a good thing, right? The cows that produce the non-organic milk could be fed feed that does have GMO ingredients in that feed. The other difference, or possible, potential difference, between organic and non-organic, is the use of recumbent bovine growth hormone or, it can also be called, bovine somatotropin. On the label it’s listed as RBST. There’s a very small part of the label that will say our cows in our dairy farm are not treated with this hormone. This is a synthetic hormone that is used by some dairy farmers to increase the production of the milk in their cows. Usually only by about 10 percent, but, for a farmer, that’s pretty significant. The good thing is, though, is that a lot of milk, even if it’s not organic, is they’re no longer using that bovine growth hormone or that RBST hormone in their cows, because people just don’t want it in there. For that reason, I think that’s great that they’re listening.

How Dairy Affects Your Hormones And Health

04:38
You might have heard by now that non-organic cow’s milk is one of the worst choices you can buy at the store due to the excess hormones, antibiotics, steroids, pesticides and who knows what else it all contains. But you might not know that even organic cow’s milk and its products is still one of the worst health food choices you can make for many reasons, no matter what kind of cows it comes from. The main reason is for how it affects your hormones. All cows that produce milk are pregnant and that makes cow’s milk contains over 60 different hormones without anything being added to it. Now, while some of us have different hormone situations going on, there is no logical research that says we need to take in added hormones from another mammal. http://www.naturalnutritionforlife.com

Raw Milk: Is It Good or Bad?-Transformation TV-Episode #014

To learn more about raw milk benefits, check out: https://draxe.com/raw-milk-benefits/ Raw milk is actually illegal in 17 states. It's a controversial topic, but I'd love for you to join the conversation! Did you know that milk may actually be bad for your bones? Learn the difference between raw & pasteurized milk and the best way to build bone strength, boost your immunity, and lose weight! Pasteurization and Homogenization: -During the process of pasteurization, milk is heated at high temperatures (150 degrees or higher) -Pasteurization destroys the enzymes and good bacteria in the milk. It also denatures the protein, damages the minerals, and inhibits the calcium absorption of the milk. -Homogenization helps break down the fat molecules of milk and makes milk creamier. -Homogenization results in oxidation of the milk. It converts the good fats in milk into bad, hydrogenated fats. It also converts sugar molecules from lactose to beta lactose, which results in a greater effect on blood sugar levels. Raw Milk: -Raw milk contains every essential amino acid. -Raw milk is loaded with probiotics to promote immune and digestive health. -Raw milk contains Vitamin D3, which boosts immunity and balances hormones in the body. -Raw milk contains CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) to help the body burn fat and lose weight. -Raw milk boosts nutrient levels and immunity, balance hormones, and helps the body burn fat and lose weight -As opposed to raw milk, which contains naturally occurring Vitamin D3, pasteurized milk contains synthetic Vitamin D2, which increases the risk of heart disease. Action Steps: 1. Eliminate pasteurized milk from your diet. 2. Get raw milk at your local farmer’s market or search for it online. Is Dairy Bad For You?- Thomas DeLauer

09:51
Is Dairy Bad For You? This is an in-depth look at the history of the dairy industry, the changes in practices over the last 20 years, and how it may be affecting your digestion, protein absorption and overall tolerance for lactose. Find out how hormones, antibiotics and mass production on dairy farms may potentially be causing adverse health issues. For more information on how simple things like dairy can affect you, go to http://www.thomasdelauer.com Dairy - A History 1. Between 1991 and 2004, the number of U.S. dairies decreased by half, and those with an excess of 100 cows increased by 94 percent. Big business tends to do anything to increase profits, which was led to changes that impact both our health and our sense of what is morally acceptable. (2) 2. Between 1950 and 2000, the number of dairy cows decreased by half, however the average milk yield more than tripled. (2) What this means for dairy: 1. Antibiotics: a. dairy cows live in some tough conditions and consume a diet that is high in protein and low in fiber, opposite of their natural diet of grass, which is high in fiber and low in nutritional density. They are fed this way to increase production, however it makes cows sick. (2) b. To keep cows healthy enough to produce milk, they are fed antibiotics. These antibiotics are passed on to us when we consume dairy products. This could lead to antibiotic resistance, and it is not fully understood what health problems this could pose. (2) 2. Hormones: a. milk contains natural hormones and growth factors - think about it - milk is produced in mammals to create the nutrition and resources for a small mammal to grow to be large. These hormones are meant to bring an 85 lb calf to a full grown 1,500 lbs (4). In addition to these naturally occurring hormones, synthetic growth hormones are frequently used to increase the production of milk. These hormones are readily available in the dairy we drink and may affect our normal hormonal function. (3) i. One hormone added to cow’s milk, insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1), has been implicated in increased breast and prostate cancer risk. In a study of nearly 22,000 participants for 28 years published by the Journal of Nutrition in 2013, it was found that those who consumed greater than 2.5 servings of dairy products daily had an increased risk of prostate cancer compared to those who consumed less than one half of a serving per day. (7) Aren’t there other nutrients that you need from milk? Every nutrient that you can obtain from milk, such as calcium, potassium, protein and fats can all be obtained from whole plant foods, such as vegetables, legumes, nuts and fruits. It is important to reduce the causes of chronic inflammation in our diets, and the hormones in milk, whether organic, raw milk or regular milk with even more hormones added in, can lead to inflammation. Cut dairy out of your diet for 30 days and see how you feel. It you find better digestion, increased energy and improved health, you are likely one of the majority who have an inflammatory response to dairy. If you do decide to continue eating dairy, do so in small quantities and be sure to consume organic, raw dairy. Resources: 1. Pasture raised grass fed cows have more Omega 3s and have up to 500% more CLA in their products. http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0082429 http://www.csuchico.edu/grassfedbeef/research/health-benefits.shtml Not shockingly happy cows leading happy lives produce better dairy products. Fact #5. There’s A Lot of Sugar Content in Dairy Products Dairy contains a naturally occurring sugar called lactose that is in EVERY dairy product you consume. Fact #6. Dairy’s increases IGF-1 IGF-1 (or Insulin-like Growth Factor), is statistically increased from the consumption of dairy. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2715202/ IGF-1 production increases your risk of acne and developing cancer. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15562834 That being said, not all IGF-1 is bad. For instance, it has clear benefits to those of you trying to build muscle and gain strength. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2439518/ Why are there lots of recent studies out there praising dairy? Dalla dolla bill yall The diary industry alone spent 6.4 million dollars lobbying last year. Food for thought. Is Dairy Bad for You? It depends on the person. If you’re lactose intolerant, suffer with acne, or have any reason you think your body doesn’t process dairy perfectly - I would avoid it. However, it if you really enjoy it as a source of nutrition in your diet, and don’t suffer from the side effects. It’s ok to have. Which leads to the next question… Do you need dairy in your diet? Absolutely not. While diary does have lots of important nutrition like calcium, protein, and Vitamin B12, you can easily get those from other sources. Leafy greens, lean meats, and whole foods have all those nutrients WITHOUT all the sugar or hormone increases dairy. I personally don’t consume dairy for this reason. Does Dairy Help You Lose Weight? No. Weight loss is about having two things working correctly. Eating the Right Amount of Calories AND Having Properly Functioning Hormones. Dairy provides no advantage to losing weight and if you have an intolerance could impede some weight loss progress. What are the best kinds of dairy to consume? If you’re going to get your dairy on, Low-fat unflavored greek yogurt, keifer, and grass fed whey protein are the best. If you’re going to drink milk, make sure it’s organic. What kind of dairy should you never consume? Anything non-organic I’d avoid. Because dairy is already shown to raise IGF-1, avoiding any extra chemicals pumped into cows is a good idea.

4 Foods That Mess Up Your Hormones

09:48
Please Subscribe for 3x Videos Per Week and Live Broadcasts! http://ThomasDeLauer.com 4 Foods That Mess Up Your Hormones 1. Soy - Specifically Non-Organic According to the National Institutes of Health, we do not fully understand the health effects of pesticides, but their use is associated with cancer, neurological conditions, and diabetes. (9) Phytoestrogens are found in numerous plants, including legumes, broccoli, beans, and soy products. Studies have found both positive and negative effects of phytoestrogens, so these are not necessarily bad - have been found to inhibit certain types of cancer and improve metabolic parameters (1). That said, phytoestrogens have a very similar structure to the estrogen found in our bodies. These phytoestrogens both connect to and stimulate estrogen receptors. Case Study In the Avon Longitudinal Study of Pregnancy and Childhood, it was found that 51 of 7,928 boys born suffered from hypospadias, a conditions where the penis does not work and appears abnormal. It was found that boys born to vegetarian mothers who had higher phytoestrogen content in their diets were more likely to be born with hypospadias. Soy formulas are of particular concern as this intake can be as high as four to seven times that of the quantity of phytoestrogen per pound of body weight as that of a traditional soy-based Asian diet. (7) 2. High Omega 6 Fats It is important to have a healthy balance of omega-3 fatty acids and omega-6 fatty acids in our diets, however in the USA we tend to consume about 14 to 25 times more omega-6 fatty acids than omega-3 fatty acids. Our bodies produce hormones from omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. The hormones produced from omega-6 fatty acids promote inflammation while those produced from omega-3 fatty acids help to reduce inflammation. (6) This large consumption of proinflammatory foods is coinciding with an increase in chronic inflammatory diseases, including obesity, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, cardiovascular disease, and may others. 3. Flax Case Study - Rats Born to Mothers with 10% Flaxseed Diets Experienced Hormonal Effects and Birth Weight Differences In a 1998 study published in the Journal of Nutrition, rats were fed diets containing either 0%, 5% or 10% flaxseed while pregnant and during lactation. No difference was found between the 0% and 5% flaxseed diet, but there were weight and hormonal differences found between the 0% flaxseed and 10% flaxseed diet. 4. Dairy - Specifically Non-Organic In the US, the vast majority of our meat and dairy come from concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs). Animals raised in CAFOs are treated horribly, packed together, and fed unnatural diets. They are fed questionable chemicals to encourage faster growth and pumped with antibiotics to keep them alive. These antibiotics, hormones, and other chemicals may disrupt your endocrine system. Estrogens and insulin-like growth factor found in dairy are thought to encourage initiation in breast, endometrial, and prostate cancers. (11) References: 1. Dangers of drinking cow's milk

02:25
Dangers of drinking cow's milk Before we discuss some of the dangers of drinking cow's milk, first, it is important to mention that I am not completely anti-milk. I personally do not drink unless it is seed or nut milk but in its pure form, it is not necessarily dangerous. Yet, due to the extreme processes that milk undergoes, as well as the high amounts of antibiotics, hormones, and genetically-modified substances that cows are continually exposed to, I can, with much certainty, say that there are real and eminent dangers associated with drinking milk from cows. All cows release toxins through their milk, as milk is a natural exit-portal for substances that the body cannot use. List of "Ingredients" Added to Cow's Milk Here are just a few of the artificially-engineered components found in the average glass of non organic pasteurized and homogenized milk on the American dinner table: A Veritable Hormone Cocktail: including pituitary, steroid, hypothalamic, and thyroid hormones (remember most cows are extremely stressed) Gastrointestinal Peptides: Nerve and epidermal growth factors, and the growth inhibitors MDGI and MAF rBGH ( Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone ): a genetically engineered hormone directly linked to breast, colon and prostrate cancer. This is injected into cows to increase milk production. Pus: National averages show at least 322 million cell-counts of pus per glass. This is well-above the human limit for pus-intake, and has been directly linked to paratuberculosis bacteria, as well as Crohn's disease. The pus comes from infected udders on the cows known as mastitis. ___________ Blood Cells: The USDA allows up to 1.5 million white blood cells per milliliter of commonly-sold milk.[3] Yes, you are drinking cows blood in the milk and the USDA allows this! Antibiotics: Currently, cows are in such a state of disease and mistreatment that they are continually being injected with antibiotic medicines, and rubbed down with chemical-laden ointments to deal with their chronic infections. Currently, regulating committees only test for 4 of the 85 drugs in dairy cows. This means that the other 81 drugs in cow's milk are coming directly into your glasses and bodies. Estimates show that 38% of milk in the U.S. is "contaminated with sulfa drugs or other antibiotics," according to a study by the Centre for Science in the Public Interest and published in the Wall Street Journal on December 29, 1989. A study from the FDA data showed that over half of all milk was laden with traces of pharmaceuticals yet nothing has been done to control this. How Does This Affect the Cows? Furthermore, not only are people drinking in these toxins, we are also taking in the energetic effects of the life of the cow. Studies show that many cows are infected with incredibly painful inflammatory infections such as mastitis. Due to over-milking, artificial hormones, bacteria and medications, cow's udders can become chronically inflamed, thus altering the color and taste of the milk. Over time, this bacterial invasion causes harm to the cow's mammary gland, reeking havoc on the milk being produced. From parasitic worms to cancerous tumors, these diseases are often passed along to the next generation of cows, and more often, into the milk we drink. Even more, the conditions in which cows live, as well as the rigorous milking regimes, cause dairy cattle to live in a permanent state of sympathetic (stress) response, as well as adrenal over-load. When our adrenal glands are overworked for long periods of time, there is a overload of cortisol in the blood. When we drink this milk, we are then exposed to the millions of stress-response cells in the milk of cows. It is no wonder that we are a chronically-stressed society .. How To Avoid Dangers Related to Cow's Milk In conclusion, it might be a good idea to take a cleansing break from dairy. Here are some ways to avoid the dangers associated with cow's milk: Replace cow's milk with healthy natural substitutes: rice milk, almond milk, raw goat's milk or my favorite -- hemp milk. If you do insist on drinking cow's milk, make sure to buy only the non-genetically modified, range fed, organic raw versions. Even better, talk to your local organic farmer to make sure the cow's are treated kindly. Eat less cheese and always buy organic versions. Goat's cheese is the best for you! Whitewash, The Disturbing Truth About Cow's Milk and Your Health by Joseph Keon

01:20:34
Expert Panel Host: Joseph Keon (A podcast version of this video is available on iTunes.) • North Americans are some of the least healthy people on Earth. Despite advanced medical care and one of the highest standards of living in the world, one in three Americans will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, and 50 percent of US children are overweight. This crisis in personal health is largely the result of chronically poor dietary and lifestyle choices. Nutritionist Dr. Joseph Keon unveils how North Americans unwittingly sabotage their health every day by drinking milk, and he shows that our obsession with calcium is unwarranted. Citing scientific literature, Dr. Joseph Keon builds an unassailable case that not only is milk unnecessary for human health, its inclusion in the diet may increase the risk of serious diseases including: • Prostate, breast, and ovarian cancers • Osteoporosis • Diabetes • Vascular disease • Crohn's disease Many of America's dairy herds contain sick and immunocompromised animals whose tainted milk regularly makes it to market. Cow's milk is also a sink for environmental contaminants and has been found to contain traces of pesticides, dioxins, PCBs, and rocket fuel. The Real Truth about Health Conference - 2014

Bovine Growth Hormone : Whistleblowers Shiv Chopra & Margaret Haydon - the fifth estate

It was the late '90s when the fifth estate first caught up with Drs. Shiv Chopra and Margaret Haydon. The two Health Canada scientists had serious concerns about a new synthetic drug that promised to transform dairy farming by increasing milk production in cows. Chopra and Haydon went public with their concerns and allegations that the manufacturer had offered regulators a bribe, and used questionable tactics as part of a campaign to get the drug approved in Canada. They would eventually both be both fired by Health Canada for insubordination and have spent years trying to get their jobs back. Bovine Growth Hormone was never approved in Canada. Top 3 High Estrogen Foods To AVOID To Boost Test & Burn Fat

05:03
Don't Eat Another Meal Until You See This: http://go2.sixpackshortcuts.com/SH3L9 Hey guys, it's Toby here, and today I’m going to explain what estrogen is and why us men need to avoid it as much as possible. First off, estrogen is the master FEMALE hormone and the #1 killer of what makes you a man - Testosterone. Now estrogen is usually associated with women, but believe it or not, men actually produce it too. And in men, a delicate balance of estrogen levels is essential... Over time, as our civilization has progressed and advanced, the male population has been exposed to an ever-increasing estrogen-producing environment, causing a potentially deadly hormonal imbalance that leads to excess body fat and even disease. So, if you’ve been eating any of the following foods, take my advice and stay ahead of the curve by eliminating them from your diet. 1:07 #1. Conventional Meat & Dairy For the life of me, I don’t understand why any adult male over the age of 40 is still drinking milk. Did you know that the typical milk in your average grocery store can contain over 20 different chemicals and medications, including xenoestrogen - a chemical that literally imitates estrogen in the body? The meat that you are eating, which includes beef, chicken, pork, or turkey, that isn’t held up to an all-natural, organic standard can also be pumped full of excess hormones and steroids that can alter and affect your test levels. 1:48 #2. Processed Soy Soy is also another harmful xenoestrogen that can result in impotence in men. Unfortunately, soy is found in many things that we men use daily - such as coffee creamers, cooking oils, and processed foods, so be pro-active and take a closer look at those labels on the food you’ve been buying. 2:11 #3. Processed Sugar Excess sugar in your body promotes the production and imbalance of estrogen in the male body. We’ve all been told sugar can be bad for putting on and holding onto body fat, but if you understand now that sugar can increase your estrogen levels and depress testosterone, you can clearly make the connection of how important testosterone is to losing body fat… And how estrogen levels cause you to hold onto more body fat. Now, here are the 3 foods you can start eating right now to help reverse estrogen promotion in your body: 2:52 #1. Grass-Fed Meat The healthy fats from the omega-3’s that are in higher concentration in the grass-fed meat also acts as a crucial precursor to producing testosterone. 3:15 #2. Cruciferous Greens Increasing the amount of cruciferous vegetables in your diet, which includes broccoli, kale, and cabbage, rids the body of excess estrogen to help increase test levels. 3:44 #3. Blueberries Blueberries contain Resveratrol that has been studied and identified as having anti-aromatase, or anti-estrogen producing, properties. Now, I’ve been lucky enough to work with the #1 nutritionist for men over 40 that focuses on boosting testosterone, Clark Bartram, with an easy-to-follow, complete low estrogen, high-T diet plan for us men over 40. In fact, he posted a free video you can watch right now that breaks down some of the most common things we older men have been doing that has been depressing our testosterone every day for years. Just click here: http://go2.sixpackshortcuts.com/SH3L9 now to see it. Now, remember - stay away from conventional meats & dairy along with processed soy and sugar. And, instead, stick with grass-fed meats, cruciferous green veggies, and whole, organic fruits like blueberries. As always, make sure that you: Like, Share, & Subscribe to Seniority Health. All this can trigger the growth of cancer and contributes to today's problem of obese children (ever notice why young girls breasts develop faster?). Cow's milk is the number one allergic food in this country. It has been well documented as a cause in diarrhea, cramps, bloating, gas, gastrointestinal bleeding, iron-deficiency, anemia, skin rashes, atherosclerosis, and acne. It is the primary cause of recurrent ear infections in children. It has also been linked to insulin dependent diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, infertility, and leukemia. Is milk bad for you?

05:15
Visit our blog at: http://www.greenempire.tv/ For more of the same please subscribe So we've all been told that milk is good for our teeth and bones. It's fresh, it's white, it's pure, it's clean, its nutritious, it's full of calcium. Soooo .... It's good for us -- isn't it? Well.....that's what the media says, but those guys are sneaky, slimy snakes that also once told us that cigarettes weren't bad for us and that McDonalds offered wholesome and healthy food. And we all know that's a load of codswallop!!! Milk and all its affiliated products (yogurt, cheese, cream) have been marketed for many years as wholesome and healthy, but in fact there's a lot of nasty stuff in milk that you don't want to be consuming. Not only that, but the proposed health benefits of anything dairy aren't so kosher either! Unfortunately, our standard non-organic cow's milk is not only unhealthy, but the way it's produced is unethical and is also detrimental to our environment. All round it's a wrongun! So why's it so bad? Well your average non-organic cow's milk contains: • Hormones • Blood/ puss • Antibiotics • Anti-inflammatory drugs • Pesticides, herbicides, fungicides So how do these things end up in our milk? Well, the cow's are artificially inseminated from a young age in order to start their milk production. After giving birth, cows would naturally produce around 16lbs of milk per day, which is plenty for their calf, but not for us greedy humans. So, to maximise profits farmers inject the cows with hormones to increase and extend their milk production up to a whopping 50lbs per day -- which is 3 times their usual amount. Of course none of this milk goes to the baby calf -- no way! The poor little bugger gets some cheap artificial stuff. And If he's a he, he's no use to the milk industry so he'll be slaughtered and sold as veal before he's one year old. So the milk industry is not only unethical, but it produces milk that is hazardous to our health because all those hormones injected into these cows, essentially end up in our milk. In recent studies, up to 59 types of hormones have been detected in our milk and when consumed overtime can accumulate in our bodies and create an array of health issues. The 2 most worrying of these hormones is rBGH (recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone and IMF-1. In 1993, the FDA approved commercial use of synthetic recombinant Bovine growth hormone (rBGH) in injection form to be used in cows to increase milk yield. It was marketed under name Posilac (by Monsanto). It proved to increase milk production in cows by 10-15 %, but it has been associated with increases in cystic ovaries, disorders of the uterus, digestive problems, enlarged hocks and lesions of the knee, not to mention mastitis (a condition that develops due to excessive milking, causing inflammation and bloody puss clusters on the udders). This, of course, increases the cows' need for additional antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.

FOX NEWS Reporters (Reporters Steve Wilson & Jane Akre) uncover that most of the Milk in the USA and across some parts of the world is unfit to drink due to Monsanto Corporation's POSILAC®, which has been proven to be a cancer-causing growth hormone.(known in short as "BGH" "BST" or "rBGH" ), but they were fired for trying to tell people the truth. (Important note: After a long court battle, the Court dismissed the whistle blowers protection for the reporters because the Court stated that there was no law to force that the NEWS state the truth! Fact! Going on to say the NEWS was no different than other TV shows/reality shows!!) But the FDA has turned a blind eye once again! If you consumed or fed regular milk to your family today (8/21/08), there is more than a 90% chance that it was from a cow injected with BGH (Bovine somatotropin developed by using recombinant DNA technology). You could be killing or harming your child every time you pour them a glass of milk, the same as pouring them a glass of slow acting poison. Please take action to ensure our children's safety, for they can not protect themselves. What first alarmed farmers was the massive amount of PUS in the milk but Monsanto and the FDA still had no concerns by stating that the PUS was not harmful to be ingested by consumers! If you have little children, at least feed them certified BGH free Milk, Organic Milk or Organic/BGM free milk equivalent like Organic soy milk.

One of the worst enemies for men is high levels of estrogen. Period. In this video I’m going to give you my three foods to avoid at all costs if you’re trying to have the energy to stay focused in the office, and in the gym. And at the end, I’m going to give you a food that you can eat to help GET RID of the extra estrogen When we have high levels of estrogen, it generally means that we have lower levels of testosterone and higher levels of what is called aromatase activity. This aromatase activity is the enzymatic conversion of androsterone and testosterone into estradiol, more commonly known as E2 or estrogen. For what it is worth, high levels of estrogen cause excess belly fat, increased levels of the stress hormone cortisol, and also fatigue and a serious lack of drive and motivation. 1) The first food, is simply put, refined sugar and excess carbohydrates. The simplest way to put it is that when you eat carbohydrates and spike your insulin, you lower an important hormone called Sex hormone binding globulin, this hormone is responsible for binding testosterone and estrogen and when the hormone is too low, it leaves you with too much estrogen floating around in the bloodstream, leading to the myriad of effects. Replace the carbs with healthy fats to stimulate testosterone production rather than killing it off. Fat = Conversion to testosterone, sugar = no binding and more estrogen! 2) The next food to avoid is non-organic dairy products. Now, I am not one that is against dairy; I think that it has it’s place in moderation, but for the person that is trying to be as productive as possible, consuming too much dairy is flat out going to slow you down. But conventional milks and other dairy products have so much in the way of medications it wreaks havoc on the system. Research Bomb – In a study from the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Medicine and Engineering in Japan it was found that conventional milk contains large amounts of estrogen and progesterone and is shown to suppress gonadotropin, which suppresses testosterone. The solution is to opt for Organic Milk or even goat’s milk when given the opportunity. 3) The last food to avoid is one you’ve probably heard talks about… and that is SOY. Soy contains something called xenoestrogens. Xenoestrogens mimic estrogen in the body, but aren’t real estrogen. This throws off your body and causes you to sometimes produce even more. This happens because we are not consuming true soy. So much of the soy that we eat is genetically modified that it doesn’t have the natural benefits of some of the other potentially healthy soy out there. I work with a lot of clients that are vegetarians and they need a solution for a vegetarian protein powder, in this case I recommend pea protein. 4) Now lastly, as promised I want to give you a way that you can reduce estrogen in your body and help your body get rid of it easier… Cruciferous veggies – things like broccoli and cauliflower… Why? Because they have a component called indole-3-carbinole that is being shown time and time again to reduce levels of estrogen in the body, but they also have levels of sulfur in them which detoxify the body quite well too. So not only do you reduce serum levels of estrogen within the body, but you also help the body eliminate them easier. Since estrogen levels are actually highest at night and lower during the day, it’s most important to eat your big bowl of broccoli before bed. As always, nourish your brain, your body, and your business and I’ll see you in the next video! Del Fabbro E, Garcia JM, Dev R, Hui D, Williams J, Engineer D, Palmer JL, Schover L, Bruera E. #DeconstructingTheTrend breaking down the marketing strategy of emphasizing no *ADDED* hormones in Dairy products such as milk and cheese and yogurt. Milk / Dairy is basically one of Nature's hormone Delivery Systems. Dairy has abundant naturally occurring hormones such as prolactin, insulin-like growth factor-1, prostaglandins, and steroids such as estrogen and progesterone. These are typically even going to be found in skim milk. By demonizing rBST, manufacturers of conventional dairy products are able to try to create product differentiation in their marketing strategy bye pandering to the Natural and organic segment. Organic vs Grass-fed Protein Powders

02:24
If you prefer to use grass-fed whey protein powder for ethical reasons, then by all means, fork out a little extra cash for the stuff. If, however, you think it'll offer up superior health benefits, or you're concerned about antibiotics and hormones, your money may be going to waste. Educate yourself ► www.jymsupplementscience.com Get JYM Supplements ► https://www.amazon.com/JYM-Supplement-Science/pages/14163528011 First, you need to consider what exactly makes milk from grass-fed cows better for you. It's the fat! Organically raised, grass-fed cows have higher amounts of the all-important and essential Omega-3 fats, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and vitamin E (a fat-soluble vitamin) than their grain-fed counterparts and these nutrients are found in the milk fat. But the protein is processed to isolate the protein from the carbs and the fat. In fact, a quality protein has close to 100 percent of the fat removed. This means that if a protein-powder manufacturer is using protein from organic milk, nearly all of the extra omega-3 fats, CLA, and vitamin E have been removed during the manufacturing process anyway! Is Soy Bad for You?

05:26
For more info: https://draxe.com/is-soy-bad-for-you/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Feb-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=soy A common question I’ve received recently is, “Is soy bad for you?” The answer is, yes, the majority of the time. It all depends on the form you’re buying it in. Ninety-five percent of the soy out there today is bad for you. Soy was a different type of soy a long time ago versus the kind of soy we eat today. Today, processed soy contains phytoestrogens, which are estrogen-mimikers in the body. If you’re a male consuming soy, it will give you feminine characteristics or if you’re a female consuming soy, it puts you at risk for breast cancer and hormone imbalance disorders. Additionally 90% of soy today is genetically modified, which kills off the good bacteria in your gut, known as probiotics. Because of the phytoestrogens and GMOs, soy can actually be extremely harmful for you. This includes soy protein, soy milk, or any other soy product. On the other hand, soy can be good for you if it’s in an organic, fermented soy form. This type of soy, also known as Natto, is loaded with probiotics, it’s non-GMO, and high in vitamin K2. For more information on phytoestrogens, you can check out my article here: https://draxe.com/phytoestrogens/ *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only.
