A steady combination of coffee and tea can strip away many essential vitamins which are essential to maintaining a vibrant complexion. 5. Canola, Sunflower, Safflower and Vegetable Oil If you have acne-prone skin, put these oils on your radar as ones to avoid. They have certain nutrients that can ignite a fire storm on your complexion, especially during peak estrogen days. The Best Foods for Your Complexion 1. Avocados Avocados contain a substance that can bring hormone levels back under control. Adding avocados to your diet can be a natural defense system to ward off inflammation. 2. If that’s the case, replace regular milk you add to cocoa with skim milk. So, if you like to have some yogurt early in the day, either go for plain natural Greek version or add dry apricots or plums to it to avoid health problems. Many vitamins and other valuable nutrients that are found in vegetables and greens require fats for proper absorption. Whenever you dress your salads with lemon or vinegar only, you deprive yourself of a lot of healthy food elements. The starch pasta is so rich in needs alkalotic digestive fluids, and the proteins from meat demand acidic ones. When you mix them, they get stuck in your stomach and can cause heartburn, belching, gas, and other unpleasant consequences. Most cats are picky eaters, and as such, less likely to be interested in some human foods than dogs, but because a cat's digestive system is different from a human's, some human foods can be highly toxic and even deadly to cats.The following seven foods should never be given to cats. If your cat accidentally ingests any of these foods, emergency veterinary treatment may be necessary and an immediate visit to the veterinarian is essential. Onions and garlic All members of the onion family (shallots, onions, garlic, scallions, etc.) contain a compound that can damage cats' red blood cells if eaten in sufficient quantities. Some of these are more toxic than others, and cooking does not destroy the toxin. While most cats probably wouldn't eat raw onions or garlic, even products that contain small traces can be dangerous. A particular caution applies to baby food, which is often used to entice sick cats to eat: some brands contain onion powder to add flavoring. Read labels carefully before feeding. Alcohol Alcohol can be extremely dangerous for cats, leading to intoxication, coma and even death. Due to their small size, cats are far more sensitive to the effects of alcohol than humans. Cats are often attracted to mixed drinks containing cream or milk, such as eggnog. Chocolate Even though cats don't have a sweet tooth, some cats will eat chocolate as part of nibbling on a cookie, candy or other baked treats. Chocolate contains caffeine and theobromine. That’s because ‘prime cut’ suggests that it is a single cut of the best meat from the animal. But this isn’t the case in many restaurants. Actually, what if I told you they chop up all the leftover meat and glue it back together? Does the word transglutaminase ring a bell? This is the name for the meat glue they use to glue the low quality meat back together to make you think you’re getting a full piece. This is more than a lie, this is disgusting. Besides the fact that it is using the worst tiny cuts of meat, it’s made from ammonia. The stuff used in fertilizers and oven cleaners. They try to fight back by claiming it kills E Coli, which should not be something we should be worried about being on meat anyway. Justifying making people unknowingly eat ammonia just so they can pass off scrap meat does not seem ethical in the least. Be very careful where you eat your steak! See, this is why being a vegetarian seems like a safer option! Or maybe seafood…. #9 Imitation Crab Or maybe not seafood. For one, crustaceans feed off the worst possible debris on the bottom of the ocean. The only nastier creature is shrimp. This stuff they eat doesn’t magically disappear when they are caught and cooked either. There’s still…stuff in it that we eat…secondhand. Nevertheless, it’s expensive to buy fresh crab and shrimp, but you can get crab cakes and other delicacies at the grocery store for a pretty good price. Why? It’s usually because it is fake, under the guise of imitation crab meat. Imitation crab meat is made from the remains of other fish that are mushed together, and injected into a mold. They mince and mince random fish, whatever they can get their hands on, until it turns into the same texture as crab. It is then created into a paste that is frozen and then shaved into crab-like flakes. To make it taste like crab, they just add flavor and paint it to look like crab. So, next time you go for some cheap crab, remember that’s probably, beaten, frozen, shaved, and painted fish remains. I kind of like imitation crab but not really a fan of this process...it still tastes good so if you’re okay with this…then go ahead. #8 Parmesan Cheese Parmesan cheese is delicious! Especially, real authentic parmesan cheese. But did you know that companies will usually lie about what’s in “parmesan”? The FDA regulations make it legal to sell fake Parmesan cheese. This is some scary stuff. There are two huge deal breakers with parmesan. One is grated parmesan in the shaker. Most of the time, cellulose and mold inhibitor chemicals are added so it won’t clump. Cellulose, not cellulite, that’s just an after effect. Cellulose comes from ground up wood pulp and is considered “harmless and organic matter”. They usually add 2-4% cellulose, but the FDA doesn’t restrict it. In fact, some has been proven to carry 20%! That’s a lot of cellulose on your pasta! The saddest part is, this is just allowed in the United States. Parmesan cheese legally means the kind of cheese that comes from Parma, Italy. But in the US, you can call it parmesan when it’s just dehydrated, grated mozzarella. This is like the Kobe beef of cheeses. Most of the time, when you get parmesan, it’s not parmesan. It’s cellulose and a mixture of cheap cheeses. #7 Egg Substitute This one is a little different. No one knows what it is, but many believe that it’s a great substitute for people with egg allergies. But really, it’s still just eggs. They take mostly egg whites, fresh, frozen, or powdered, and add other ingredients. But not much. They actually just contain 99% egg whites! There’s not actually much substituting going on. It might be easier for people who don’t want to go to the trouble dealing with egg shells and yolks slipping everywhere, etc. In reality, it is called egg substitute because of that 1% that’s just artificial coloring, salt, onion powder, and who knows what else. Why? Why would they just flavor egg whites? “Egg substitute” is kind of misleading and should be for people with egg allergies who need a substitute. It shouldn’t just be eggs. Maybe it’s substituting something else? Is it the bottle substituting for the shell? Bottom line is…this isn’t egg substitute, it’s just expensive eggs.

A lot of foods aid in removal of the pain (garlic, ginger, turmeric), but lots of them also worsen the issue. IN CASE OF JOINT PAIN, AVOID THESE: RED AND PROCESSED MEAT Both have chemical purine and nitrite that make pain and inflammation worse. These foods also have toxins called glycation end products AGEs and they make inflammation more serious. A 2014 study of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences said that red meat glycan develops more inflammation and progress of cancer. Another study of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition made a link between red meat and inflammation markers. Replace the red processed meat with veggies and fruits. SUGARS AND ARTIFICIAL SWEETS. Too much sugar makes more AGEs and inflammation. Sugar triggers cytokines, the inflammation agent triggers. Also, the sugar causes weight gain and pressure on every joint. Also, avoid sodas and sweet drinks. A study of 2014, American Journal of Clinical Nutrition said regularly eating these things makes rheumatoid arthritis in women. Avoid the sodas, sweets, cereals with sugar, snacks, punches, pastries and candies. As healthy options consider stevia, honey or molasses. DAIRY. They worsen the pain because they have high amount of the protein causer of inflammation. The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine said this same protein also irritates surrounding joint tissue. That pain is also linked to saturated fats in dairy (cheese, milk, butter). Replace the pasteurized milk with almond, soy milk, tofu, margarine or similar. CORN OIL. This oil is full of omega 6 acids that are harmful for us. The Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism stated in one study that more omega 6 acids make more inflammation. Such foods are salad dressings, grapeseed and safflower oil, peanut, soy. Do not remove the omega 6 fully, it is still needed but in moderation. Eat more omega 3 acids of olive oil, flaxseed, nuts and pumpkin seeds. GRAINS AND REFINED FLOUR. Due to high glycemic index they trigger more AGEs and inflammation. Nutrients study published that daily eating wheat items and grain cereals can develop autoimmune diseases chronically. Such grains have little B vitamin and have empty calories. Eating them daily means more risk of diseases like heart issues, diabetes and even cancer. Replace the pasta, white flour, white rice, white bread with coconut/almond/whole grain/brown rice. EGGS. Eating them regularly means more pain and swelling in joints. The yolk in the egg makes inflammation since it has arachidonic acid that makes prostaglandins (causers of inflammation). They also have saturated fats, harmful too. For breakfast, at least remove the yolk and have just the whites. WHEY PROTEINS. The casein and gluten make the inflammation serious. The casein makes uric acid inside us. Too much of this acid inflames the joints and other parts too. This is called gout and can be serious up to the point of damage to the joints. Those sensitive to gluten foods can have chronic problem with this. A study of the Journal Nutrition Biochemistry, 2013, was said gluten free foods aid in inflammation reducing, adiposity and insulin resistance. Opt for the healthy options like lean proteins (beans, seeds, nuts) and less whey. REFINED SALT. This is the table salt we use daily. It is full of additives and chemicals that impair fluid balance inside us. Also, this salt has no natural minerals like phosphorus or silicon. Limit this salt use and you will keep all the calcium needed for healthy bones, against fractures or osteoporosis even. Eat it in minimal doses or buy Himalayan pink salt or sea salt. Also, avoid junk food – it is too salty. MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE FOODS. The MSG additive makes better flavor in store bought foods like frozen snacks, chips, frozen dinner, Chinese food, salad dressing and soups. It is especially bad for those with rheumatoid arthritis. Eat fresh and natural, homemade foods. Avoid the aspartame foods too, like artificial sweeteners. BEER. Too much alcohol impacts the joints first. Those having beer often and too much, have worse joint health. the purines of it turn to uric acid and this inflames the joints. Beer also has gluten in it and those with fragile joints must avoid it all the time.

Besides that, few people know the name associated with gluten intolerance, and are therefore unable to seek treatment or change their eating habits. Have you ever heard of Celiac Disease? This sickness is an autoimmune condition that affects people with hypersensitivity to gluten. Add the potatoes, broth, carrot, onion, parsley, celery seed, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes. Combine flour and milk until smooth; add to soup. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Add cheese; stir until cheese is melted and the soup is heated through. Garnish with green onions if desired. Yield: 8 servings (2 quarts).

I got few massages with request for a vegan cheese which is not cashew based. I had been thinking about it until about one week ago I was snacking some sunflower seeds and thought why not use them? The recipe is really simple, it takes literally 15 minutes to make it. I hope you will like it equally you did previous one (or even better). Show me some love in the comments! Recipe for 3 small sunflower seed cheeses Ingredients: ½ cup of sunflower seeds 1 tbsp + 1 tsp of nutritional yeast (nooch) ½ tsp of salt ½ tsp of apple cider vinegar juice from small half of lemon black pepper 1 tsp of agar powder + ½ cup of water Instructions: 1. Soak sunflower seeds in cold water for at least 2 hours. 2. Add drained seeds to the blender along with nooch, salt, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and black pepper. Blend until you get a really smooth paste. You can ad tbsp or 2 of water to help it blend. 3. Cook agar powder in ½ cup of water for about 3-5 minutes. Let it reduce slightly. 4. Add the cheese paste to the lightly chilled agar with water. Mix well. Pour into preferable dish and put to the fridge for at least an hour. 5. Decor the cheeses with your favorite herbs or anything you really want. I love the combination with roasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!

For your first meal of this 3 day military diet you can have half a grapefruit, 1 slice of toast (preferably whole wheat or multigrain) with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. If you have a peanut allergy you can substitute it with almond butter, soy butter, sunflower seed butter, hummus, pumpkin butter, or bean dip. And any breakfast isn’t complete without 1 cup of black coffee or caffeinated tea. Please note, you cannot add any sugar, cream, milk or sweeteners into your coffee or tea. These beverages are not essential to the diet as you can substitute it with any amount of water. But green tea and coffee both have thermogenic properties (burns more calories) and black coffee has the ability to suppress your appetite. The next meal of the day (lunch) consists of half a cup of tuna, another slice of toast (but no peanut butter this time) and water, black coffee or tea. If you need to season your foods then go with alternatives such as garlic salt, pepper, honey mustard, and any other low or no calorie seasoning. For dinner, you can have 3 ounces of any type of meat, 1 cup of green beans, half a banana, one small apple and one cup of vanilla ice cream. As you can tell, there isn’t a lot of food in this diet and that’s because lowering calories is what causes weight loss. If you wanna drop the pounds, you got to cut the calories! The next morning, breakfast should include one slice of multigrain or whole wheat toast, one whole egg, and half a banana. This diet is intended to last three days, and then take 4 days off. Rinse and repeat until you achieve the results you desire. The 4 days off do not mean you can binge eat and eat yourself to sickness. The goal should still be to eat around 1,500 calories or less. For lunch, you are entitled to one cup of cottage cheese (or you can replace it with 1 slice of cheddar cheese), 1 hard boiled egg and 5 saltine crackers. Dinner is served! You can have two hot dogs (minus the buns), 1 cup of broccoli, half a cup of carrots, half a banana, and half a cup of vanilla ice cream. This diet dictates vanilla ice cream only (why? I have no clue) but you can substitute ice cream (who would do that?) with one cup of apple juice or one cup of vanilla, strawberry or banana flavored almond milk. The vegetables on this diet should be steamed, baked, boiled or eaten raw. Meat should be grilled or baked, and if you are a vegetarian then you can substitute the protein sources with tofu, lentils, beans and/or portobello mushrooms. The third and final day has arrived! You’re almost there, don’t give up now! For breakfast, you are to have 5 saltine crackers, 1 slice of cheddar cheese and 1 small apple. Saltine crackers can be replaced with rice cakes (one for one) and cheddar cheese can be replaced with ham, eggs, cabbage or soy cheese. Don’t forget your black coffee or caffeinated tea! This lunch is going to be a bit small but on the menu is one slice of whole wheat or multigrain toast and one hard boiled egg. You can switch the egg out for one cup of milk, or two slices of bacon or just one chicken wing. As you can probably tell, from day 1 to day 3 there is a slow and gradual reduction of even more calories (hence the rapid weight loss.) For the last meal of day 3, you can have 1 cup of tuna, half a banana and one cup of vanilla ice cream. And remember, there is no snacking allowed on this diet. We do not recommend starting solid foods before four months of age. Ideally, a breastfed infant will not start solid foods until six months of age. Some formula fed babies do start cereals at four months of age. We recommend starting with a rice cereal and then trying an oatmeal cereal and then the baby can progress to fruits and vegetables. There's not many do's and don'ts. Babies can have most fruits and vegetables. At six months infants who are breastfed usually start eating solids, so their solid schedule's a little bit delayed compared to a formula fed baby, but they're doing the same pattern. We recommend fruits and vegetables, Stage One's, that are blended. If you make it at home it has to be very soupy and blended. At six months of age babies can also do blended meats, depending on the parents. So you can do beef, chicken, turkey, veal, lamb. Those are all very hypoallergenic foods as long as they're blended and mashed for the baby. We do not recommend giving fish to babies at this age because there can be bones in the fish, and also fish is a more allergic food, so I like to start a light flaky fish around nine months of age, and it has to be very mashed to make sure that there's no bones in the fish. Babies cannot have honey until age one. Babies cannot have any kind of peanut or choking nut until age three because they can swallow it whole and aspirate it into their lung. There's a very large range of literature regarding food allergies in babies. So some pediatricians say, “Just give the baby everything. Eggs, milk products, like yogurt and cheese.” From six months there's no studies that show that delaying these foods will prevent food allergies. And some pediatricians still like to stage the introduction of more allergic foods, like yogurts and cheeses, till nine months of age, and start eggs after nine months of age. Some pediatricians recommend separating, and giving the egg yolk first at nine months, and then a week later try the egg white and once you know your baby's not allergic to the egg white and the egg yolk, then you can give the whole egg altogether. Some pediatricians don't like to introduce peanut or nut flavor until after one or two years. I personally, if you don't have a family history of food allergies, I don't mind starting nut flavoring before one year of age, as long as there's no nuts in the food. If I see a baby's had signs of atopic dermatitis, which is eczema or rashes, or been a sensitive child, I might individually design a food schedule for that family to delay highly allergic foods to be introduced later on. Every pediatrician is different. Every family is different. Every culture is different, so it's really important to discuss this with your pediatrician and find out what the best pattern is for your child.

There are three main options: there are cow's milk, sheep's milk, and goat's milk. So whatever the animal is eating in that region, those notes are going to be in the cheese itself.
