You’d be right. That said, getting abs still remains rather elusive to many and certainly being able to maintain them year round is even harder. Not any more. In this video, I show you a 5 step plan for how to get a 6 pack that you can use to start getting your abs to show fast. Despite the fact that many are aware of the importance of proper nutrition when it comes to getting abs, it is still a mighty struggle to get them. It usually comes down to the methods those people are using to try and get them in the first place. Crash diet plans and temporary deprivation based tactics are not going to cut it long term if you want to get and keep your abs. Anything that forces you to feel as if you’re missing out or be deprived of what you really want is only going to be a temporary solution at best. As soon as you get tired of not having what you want, you’ll quickly give in and lose your ability to keep your hard earned abs. That said, the 5 step formula for getting a 6 pack starts with cutting out the obvious crap foods from your diet. You should know pretty quickly what these are. It’s the cakes, sweets, alcohol, fatty salad dressings, etc that just scream problems the minute you eat them. You know what they are and that means you know they should be gone, so do it. There’s never been a better time than now to start making the changes that are going to dramatically help you in your pursuit of your abs. Next step is to start eating more often. Yep, despite what keyboard scientists who read a few articles on google scholar want you to believe, there are far more important reasons to be eating more frequently throughout the day than whether or not this is maximally anabolic. I cover these for you in the video. Next up, you’re going to want to take another pass through that diet of yours. On this second time through, you’re going to want to remove the less obvious items that aren’t helping you as best they can to get your 6 pack abs. For me, I lay out three perfect examples. I thought these foods were healthy but I was only partially right. How they were being prepared was making all the difference in me seeing my abs consistently…or not. Moving on, you now want to eat more of the good foods you swapped in. This helps you to maintain and continue to build new muscle. Too often, people who take out the offending foods will free up many calories in their diet. If you don’t replace them with good foods you’ll likely wind up not supporting your muscle growth and be skinny without enough muscle mass. Finally, where the etching in of those abs can happen, supplementation. Use high quality supplements to fine tune your efforts and really take your results to the next level. Too often, people think that doing ab exercise after ab exercise without paying attention to what they put in their mouth is going to get them abs. That is simply not the case. Sure, you may have a killer six pack, but I can guarantee you it will be hiding under a thick layer of stomach fat if you’re not attentive to how you eat. In this video, I show you the absolute number one key to eating for abs and how to keep them year round. The thing you must have in your meal plan above anything else is convenience. Let’s face it, if you are the slightest bit inconvenienced by your diet you are likely to give up on it quickly. The reason this happens is that most diet plans already make you change too much about the way you live. They become an inconvenience that becomes harder and harder to stick to long term if they feel like a second job in order to succeed on them. If you can keep your meal plan preparation simple and convenient, you will be amazed at just how effectively you can make a lifestyle change in the way you eat…and how easy it will be to get your abs to show all year round. The two best ways to get abs is to build this convenience into the foods that you eat and prepare. As I show you, I pick one day out of the week to prepare as much food as I can for the next week to ten days. I will cook up a bunch of chicken breasts and then dress them up however I’d like to change the taste and keep the variety from day to day. One day it could be spicy cajun spices, the next tomato and olive oil, or the next pesto or mango salsa. I prepare a large amount of sweet potatoes and then portion them out into single tupperware containers that quickly get placed in the freezer and taken out each day as I need them. The beauty of preparing everything at once in bulk is that I can spend the time required to do it just once, and benefit from it for the next week or more. This level of convenience allows me to always stay locked in on my nutrition regardless of how busy my schedule may get on any given day. Like I do everything right, I lift heavy weights, I do tons of cardio, i eat 6 small meals a day, I don't eat past 6 at night, and I still can't see my abs. I can't figure out what the heck I'm doing wrong... What's up guys my names Max and in today's video I want to go over the 9 foods you should never eat again if you want a six pack and if you want to lose weight. Since you've probably already realized that ice cream is one of them let's start with ice cream first. First of all ice cream is super high in sugar which can lead to weight gain, increased levels of blood triglycerides and diabetes. When you have a high spike in blood sugar which ice cream will definitely cause you to have your body reacts by releasing a lot of insulin. When insulin levels are high in your body it's literally impossible for you to burn fat and it's very easy for you to gain weight. Couple this with the fact that most ice creams will have at least 300 calories in just one cup and you'll easily see how ice cream is one of the worst foods to eat when trying to burn fat. Another food thats terrible for you if you want to see your abs and its also just as bad for your health...and that food is popcorn. Almost all microwave popcorn varieties come in a bag that is lined with perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA). This chemical is the same toxic stuff found in teflon pots and pans. And This chemical when heated has been linked to infertility, cancer and other diseases in lab animals. There are also gmos, artificial flavors, msg, and I don't know if you guys know this but regular corn farming requires a lot of pesticides. On top of all of that trans fats are still used by most popcorn brands even though trans fats have pretty much disappeared everywhere else since they're so strongly linked to heart attacks. And finally last but not least certain studies are starting to show that it might be a bad idea to Nuke any of your food not just microwavable popcorn. So yeah popcorn maybe the single worst food you can have for fat loss and for your health. Moving on.. we have Oreos and in general any type of cookies that you buy in a package like Chips Ahoy, keebler fudge cookies I think they're called. Now why are these so bad? Well all of the same things that applied to ice cream apply here as well. You will get an insulin Spike and it'll be impossible to burn fat until your insulin levels go back down. But something that makes this such a dangerous food to eat if you're trying to burn fat is the enormous calorie content. In just 6 Oreos we're looking at 270 calories and I bet that almost nobody eats just 6 Oreos. Oreos are addicting as soon as you eat one you know you're going to eat 20. If you eat a row which is typically how much people eat you're looking at 675 calories. Good luck burning that off. Oreos are super high in sugar fat and calories. That is definitely something you want to avoid while cutting body fat. Next we have soft drinks. Let me show you guys something this right here is peach flavored Snapple. And in one cup there are 200 calories and close to 48 grams of sugar or 12 teaspoons. You only really should be allowed a maximum of 6 to 9 teaspoons of sugar a day. You already went over with just one of these drinks. Now it's not only Snapple and I know that you guys already know that Pepsi coca cola Mountain Dew Hawaiian Punch brisk sprite and all that other canned soda.... I already know that you know that that's bad for you.... especially when you're trying to burn fat. But you might have not known that the orange juice and apple juice and in fact most juices that you see at the store are absolutely horrible for you. Apple juice has 24 grams of sugar in a cup. Granted that's half the amount that you're going to get from a cup of Snapple but thats still going to cause a major halt for your fat loss. Up next we have chips. Luckily lately there have been some Brands releasing chips that are actually not that bad for you. Unfortunately most of them still are pretty bad for you. Almost all chips are super high in salt, sugar, and fat. Also because they're cooked at such high temperatures it could cause the formation of carcinogens. Don't be fooled by the kettle cooked chips and the "natural"chips because .....it's the same shit.

Hey guys! Today I'm sharing with you the weight loss meal plan that I used to lose weight (40 Lbs)! I've created this meal plan for women based on what I ate daily to lose weight, and I've specifically used meals and recipes that I think a lot of people will like. These recipes are very simple, quick and easy to make - while still being healthy, filling and well balanced. This meal plan is based on 1400 calories (for an average woman to lose weight), but you can easily adapt this eating plan to suit your calorie needs - I'll show you at the end of the video how you can easily adapt it between 1200-1600 to 1800 calories to suit your personal calorie needs. And since efficiency is the goal here I'm not going to have you wasting your time on useless ab machines, I won't be recommending any magical supplements and you won't be doing hundreds and hundreds of reps of crunches. Instead everything that I'm going to tell you to do on a daily basis is guaranteed 2 improve your abdominal development, strength and definition. I've narrowed the list down to a total of 7 things that I want you to do everyday so Let's start by getting the obvious out of the way in order to see your abs I'm sure most of you already know that you'll have to reduce your body fat percentage to a low enough level. Some people say that your body fat has to be below 12 percent others say that it has to be below 10 percent but the truth is that the exact number varies from Individual to individual because different people will hold more or less body fat around different parts of their body. Regardless, since we can't spot reduce one of the major goals has to be to reduce overall body fat. To do this you'll have to follow a diet plan that puts you into a caloric deficit that you can actually stick to everyday. When I say create a caloric deficit with your diet, most people immediately want to know which diet plan is best to burn the most body fat in the shortest amount of time. And this is a very fair question, but it's not the right question to ask. It's a fair question because there are so many different diet approaches to choose from. There's low carb dieting, low fat dieting, fasting, paleo, vegetarian, atkins, keto, the dash diet, the mediteranean diet, the blood type diet and the list can go on and on. There's definitely a lot to choose from, but it's not the right question to ask because to get six pack abs you have to be able to diet consistently over TIME. That's right it's gonna take time to see your abs, so the number one question you should ask is which diet will I be able to stick to everyday. And it turns out there was a study done on over 600 people that observed the changes in weight lost over the course of a year. The 600 people were divided between 2 groups low carb and low fat, almost everything else remained identical. At the end of the study researchers found that some people in each group lost a lot of weight, others lost a little bit of weight, and some even gained weight. But the amazing thing was that both charts matched almost identically, and the reason why was one thing...adherence. Some people in the low carb group were able to easily give up carbs for a year and others cheated for the majority of the year because they couldn't stick to only eating mostly high protein and high fat foods. The same thing happened in the low fat group. The point is as long as you can find a diet plan that you can stick to you'll be very successful with reducing your body fat, so it's not about finding the best one, its about finding the one that works for you. The best way to do this is to find a way of eating that doesn't feel like dieting at all. So everyday you'll want to start by picking your favorite whole real single ingredient foods. Single ingredient foods will naturally fill you up and make it easy to create a caloric deficit, but its very important to pick foods that you actually enjoy eating if you want to be able to stick to eating them consistently. Next you'll want to decide how often to eat. Again the right way is the way you can actually stick to. Do you do better with small consistent meals throughout the day or will you be able to adhere to a fasting protocol better where you eat only one two or three times a day? By eating only single ingredient foods daily and choosing what times of the days to eat them based on your personal preferences you'll slowly change your relationship to food which is the major key to successfully be able to stick to a long term diet. The next thing you'll want to do daily is weight training. And I don't mean that I want you to work your abs with weights everyday. I'm going to show you exactly how to calculate your calories and macros to burn a ton of fat without eating all day. Let me start by saying that there's nothing wrong with eating 5 to 6 small meals a day. You can eat 5 meals a day and look excellent with a chiseled rock solid six-pack. But....what if you don't want to eat 5 meals a day. Most Fitness gurus are going to tell you.... well sorry you have to....its the only way. And thats just plain wrong. Believe it or not you can eat just one meal a day and burn even more fat then the person eating 6 meals. I know that sounds unbelievable because you've been hard-wired over at least the last decade to increase your meal frequency. We've all been told to eat smalls meals more frequently throughout the day, "and if you don't your metabolism is gonna shut down, and your gonna lose your muscle mass, and your gonna get fat." And that's just plain untrue according to the many studies that completely disprove this point of view. Also I know this from my own experience... I started decreasing my meal frequency about 3 years ago. I went from eating five to six small meals a day for years to eating only three meals a day, then two meals a day, and for the last year and a half I only eat one meal a day and I manage to maintain my six pack year round, I haven't lost any muscle mass, and I feel great. You have to understand everyone has abs but in order to see them you have to first burn away the fat sitting on top of your abs, and when your goal is to burn fat I'm convinced that meal frequency.. matters so little that it's practically negligible. To burn fat at a steady pace you have to reduce your calories by 25 percent from maintenance and You also want to make sure that your insulin levels stay low throughout the day. Well......you can cut 25 percent from your maintenance calories and reduce insulin levels eating one meal a day or eating 6 meals days. In fact insulin which is a fat storage hormone that will block fat loss...insulin is released whenever you eat so eating one meal a day has shown to help reduce insulin levels. Many people are under the impression that insulin levels only go up when you have carbs. Which is again plain wrong. So if insulin goes up every time you eat then it would make sense that if you don't eat, insulin will stay low....like really low, and really low insulin levels are optimal for fat loss which is again what we need to do to see those ripped abs. As far as the 25 percent deficit do you think it's easier to create a 25 percent deficit eating only once a day or eating six meals a day? I personally have a lot easier of a time staying at a deficit eating one meal a day because even though I'm in a deficit that one meal can be pretty big because it's the only meal im having for the whole day. Some of you might be like I could never only eat one meal a day I'll literally starve and then binge eat. And this is actually one of the major problems with any type of fasting.... your appetite will go up. However this doesn't last forever and is more So of an obstacle when you first start fasting. Your body uses the hormones ghrelin and leptin to signal when you're hungry and when you're full. And those hormones are largely released on a schedule. So if you eat everyday at one o clock somehow your body is going to send you a signal that you're hungry it's time to eat at 1 o clock without you even having to check your watch. After a couple days and especially after a few weeks of fasting your body's feeding schedule adapts and the hunger becomes less intense. Like right now its almost 9 at night and I haven't eaten once today but I'm honestly not hungry at all because my body has adapted to this. When I first started I was really hungry to the point that my whole body would ache. Thats why you shouldn't just jump into eating one meal a day. Instead slowly decrease your meal frequency from three meals to two meals to one in order to manage your appetite. Now just for your information you should know that eating six small meals a day doesn't just solve the appetite problem. With small meals every time you eat a meal not only do your insulin levels go up...

The thing is, when you minimize your body fat levels and maximize the amount of muscle your body can naturally carry…you look much bigger than you are. Both of these guys have mastered this. That said, you can’t expect to look better without being willing to put in some hard work along the way. Zac did just this by adopting more heavy weight training into his workout routine. He stated that he never had lifted very heavy or explosive before preparing for this film. A lot of people actually find themselves in a similar position either because they are uncomfortable lifting heavy or just don’t have the base strength to be able to do it. By increasing his strength levels on the basic compound lifts, Efron was able to start adding to his muscle density and thickness. Next he followed a push, pull, legs training split. This workout sequence allows you to train your body more athletically since you train movements instead of individual muscles. The back and biceps are responsible for all lifts in which you pull the weight towards you or pull your body towards a fixed bar. It’s impossible to isolate their actions so it helps to train them together to allow you more recovery time between workouts. Daily ab training is another key to having the resting tone needed to showcase your abs year round (provided your diet and nutrition are in check). Zac Efron’s diet is also covered here as well. It’s the cakes, sweets, alcohol, fatty salad dressings, etc that just scream problems the minute you eat them. You know what they are and that means you know they should be gone, so do it. There’s never been a better time than now to start making the changes that are going to dramatically help you in your pursuit of your abs. Next step is to start eating more often. Yep, despite what keyboard scientists who read a few articles on google scholar want you to believe, there are far more important reasons to be eating more frequently throughout the day than whether or not this is maximally anabolic. I cover these for you in the video. Next up, you’re going to want to take another pass through that diet of yours. On this second time through, you’re going to want to remove the less obvious items that aren’t helping you as best they can to get your 6 pack abs. For me, I lay out three perfect examples. I thought these foods were healthy but I was only partially right. How they were being prepared was making all the difference in me seeing my abs consistently…or not. Moving on, you now want to eat more of the good foods you swapped in. This helps you to maintain and continue to build new muscle. Too often, people who take out the offending foods will free up many calories in their diet. If you don’t replace them with good foods you’ll likely wind up not supporting your muscle growth and be skinny without enough muscle mass. Finally, where the etching in of those abs can happen, supplementation. Use high quality supplements to fine tune your efforts and really take your results to the next level. The “22 Day” Ab Workout (NO REST!)

In this video, I’m going to show you a single ab workout routine that you can do for the next 22 days straight that is going to help to carve up that midsection of yours and give you a jump start on getting your abs to pop year round. There are just 6 exercises in this ab workout, each one hitting the abs from one of their primary functions. No equipment is required to perform this ab workout routine. Because of this fact, there are no excuses either. You will be able to do this workout for your abs in just minutes and you won’t need any elaborate setup to get it done. It can be done in the comfort of your own home or in the gym if you so choose. The key to this ab workout plan is that you perform it for 22 days straight. There are two reasons for this time period. First, it gives you an opportunity to start seeing noticeable changes in your abs particularly if you pair this with a dedicated effort to improve your nutrition. You will never be able to see your abs if they are covered in fat. You need to start getting serious about your diet and eating if you want to strip away the fat and show the results of your hard work and effort. The second reason for doing this for 22 days is to help this become part of your lifestyle. They say it takes 22 days of doing something for it to become a habit. We are going to try and create a positive habit here by getting you used to training your abs. Don’t worry. The abs are a resilient postural muscle group that is built for high volume and frequent training sessions. The exercises in this ab workout follow a specific sequence. They start with those that target the lower abs using bottom up movements. These are where the top of the body from the waist up stays rather stationary while the bottom does the movement. This can be seen in the heels to the heavens exercise. Next you perform a bottom up rotation movement. This one is going to be filled by the step through planks. Here you want to try and keep your upper torso still again while you create rotation from the bottom using your legs to step through and across your body. You will be able to feel this burn almost from the first few reps. Keep going until you reach the extinction time as described in the video. Move on next to the midrange movement known as the “X” man crunch. This is a great way to bring both the top to the bottom and the bottom to the top. Aim for completing the 12 reps that are suggested for extinction on this ab exercise and move onto the final three exercises. These will hit the obliques, top down movements and top down with rotation. You will see that this is not going to take very long. The benefit and power of this ab workout is that it is hitting the abs and obliques from every angle and in each of the 6 primary ways of hitting them.
