Losing weight is difficult as it is but it is even bigger challenge when you are taking antidepressants. Discover why Dr. Sam Robbins, health expert, recommends Lean Optimizer™, as one of the solutions for weight loss while taking Antidepressants. http://drsam.co/yt/WhileTakingAntidepressants-LO ************************** How to Lose Weight While Taking Antidepressants? ********************** Losing weight is never fun and for most of us, it is not easy especially as we get older. Losing weight is difficult as it is but it is even bigger challenge when you are taking antidepressants. Moreover, the reason is due to your change in hormones. Over the years, I have discovered TWO main reasons for the weight gain from use of antidepressants: The first is the most commonly prescribe antidepressants, SSRIs - such as Prozac, Lexapro, Paxil, Zoloft - they work by increasing serotonin, which helps regulate your appetite. So typically, antidepressant users start eating more because their appetite has increased which is the initial and primary cause of weight gain. Secondly, there is another phenomenon that I have noticed over the years: With people who swear they are not eating more and yet, they still gain weight. After doing lots of different blood work I have noticed a change in metabolic markers: One of them being lowered thyroid production as well as a change adrenal function such as higher cortisol levels (stress hormone) and lower adrenal production. Both are leading to slower metabolism and faster weight gain. As you can see, hormones really do control everything, throw in aging and now things get a bit more challenging. In this video, I am going to give you proven solutions that will help reduce your appetite and maximize your fat loss. So, do not worry – it is not your fault. There is hope! Robert D. McMullen, MD about Medications for Depression & Bipolar http://tmsbraincare.com/medications-bipolar-depression-hd-video/ Medications for treatment of Depression & Bipolar disorders Major depressive disorder is also known as major depression, clinical depression, or unipolar depression. The term unipolar refers to the presence of one pole, or one extreme of mood- depressed mood. This may be compared with bipolar depression which has the two poles of depressed mood and mania (i.e., euphoria, heightened emotion and activity). Bipolar disorder (also known as manic depression) causes serious shifts in mood, energy, thinking, and behavior—from the highs of mania on one extreme, to the lows of depression on the other These are of 2 types • Bipolar I disorder involves periods of severe mood episodes from mania to depression. The highs may even require hospitalization of the person. • Bipolar II disorder is a milder form of mood elevation, involving milder episodes of hypomania that alternate with periods of severe depression The depression that people with bipolar disorder experience is generally of a melancholic or psychotic type and therefore more biological in its nature. The depression found in these bipolar patients can be difficult to treat than unipolar depression as the antidepressants can cause them to have greater mood swings. These patients need to be on mood-stabilizing drugs. The antidepressants alone can actually increase the manic episodes and worsen the disorder. Antidepressants: divided into three main classes: • Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) - were developed in the 1980's and are the most common prescribed today. They are sold under brand names such as Prozac, Paxil, Prozac, Luvox, Zoloft, Celexa • Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) There are three types of MAOIs, phenelzine,(Nardil) isocarboxazid and tranylcypromine, ( Parnate) and moclobemide.) • Tricyclic drugs (TCAs). (sold as Amitriptyline, Imipramine) For effective control and to limit the side effects a combination can be used such as Wellbutrin (or bupropion). Mechanisms of action are different hence lower doses of both help control side effects. The combination of Zoloft and wellbutruim earned the popular name Welloft. The MAO inhibitors are more effective than the SSRI drugs. But can cause severe weight gain and therefore patients need to work on diet control, else the spike in blood pressure can be dangerous. They are contraindicated with drugs that work on serotonin. Lamictal (or Lamotrigine) was FDA approved for treating depression in 2003.The main advantage being, no sexual dysfunction, no sexual side effects and no weight gain. There is no sedative effect and dosage is generally much less than used for seizures. If any of the above mentioned combinations are ineffective in controlling depression, the thyroid hormone replacement drug Cytopan or Cytomel or Synthroid can be added to any of the above drug. Atypical anti-psychotics such as low doses of Zyprexa, or Abilify, or Seroquel, and the latest Quetiapine can also be prescribed. 150 mg of Lithium, normally prescribe for Bipolar at much higher doses, can be used safely without having to get regular blood checks. Hey, it’s Dr. Jack Wolfson here, The Paleo Cardiologist. I want to talk to you today about three classes of drugs that are known to inhibit sexual function. First off, when it comes to sexual function, there are a lot of pieces to the puzzle. Number one is your interest in having sex. This is called libido. Number two is the arousal necessary for intercourse. Number three, maintaining the arousal and erection. There is a part of the brain and neurological system called the autonomic. Balance in the autonomic nervous system is essential to sexual function. This is really where the doctor of chiropractic shines to restore that balance. But let’s talk about these three classes of drugs. Number one as a cardiologist of course are the cardiovascular drugs. Specifically, the blood pressure drugs. Beta blockers are absolutely classic for that side effect but any class within the cardiovascular space can cause those effects and, once you remove those drugs, typically sexual desire and sexual performance comes back into play. And the statin class of drugs that reduce cholesterol levels down, and by reducing cholesterol levels down, some people can actually have their testosterone levels reduced because testosterone comes from cholesterol and if we’re not making cholesterol, if the statin drugs block our ability to make cholesterol, then we could have problems with that and I’ve seen that many times in my career. The second class of drugs is of course the anti-depressants. This class includes some of the best-known drugs. The Prozacs, the Zolofts. All of those drugs can certainly lead to sexual dysfunction, loss of interest, loss of performance etc. The third class of drugs, and this is mostly for the men out there, some of the drugs used to treat prostate issues can certainly affect sexual performance. They clearly interfere with the body’s hormone production, so it could be something else that you need to look into and maybe look to your doctor for some natural remedies to help with sexual function. Now one of my favorite products when it comes to boosting sexual function is of course organic beetroot powder. We affectionately term that product the “boner juice.” It is tremendous for cardiovascular health but also can help with erectile function because it increases nitric oxide. What else increases nitric oxide? Viagra. Some why not do it naturally with a with an organic food-based source that has so many different benefits there? So, when it comes to sexual health, look at the drugs first. When it comes to any complications or any side effects or any problems you are having, always think of the pharmaceutical side effect first. There is a natural way. There is a better way. Continue to watch me and we’ll talk about it. Have a great day! Heart healthy tips from The Natural Cardiologist and my wife, Dr. Heather Wolfson. www.pharmacyover-the-counter.online №1 Online Farmshop Buy drugs without presciption. Big choice, cheap prises, fast worldwide delivery Alcoholism and Alcohol Dependence Medication There are three anti-alcohol drugs available: • Antabuse (disulfiram) • Campral (acamprosate). • ReVia (naltrexone) I will begin with Antabuse, since it is the most well studied. Important: You should always consult your physician when making decisions about your health. Numerous studies have proven that Antabuse is effective in the treatment of alcoholism and alcohol abuse. One study of over 250 people showed that Antabuse significantly reduces cravings for alcohol. The normal sequence of the Antabuse reaction is: • Flushing of the face • Headache • Low blood pressure • Racing heart • Dizziness • Nausea and vomiting The Do's and Don'ts of Antabuse. Wait at least 24 hrs after drinking before starting Antabuse. You can have foods that have been cooked in wine, as long as they've been cooked the alcohol evaporates quickly. You have to be careful of some deserts that have a lot of uncooked alcohol in them. You also have to be careful of some cough syrups and cold preparations that can contain as much as 40% alcohol. You can use perfumes, colognes, or aftershaves. Antabuse Side Effects The side effects of Antabuse are less common than the side effects of relapse. During the first week or two that you take Antabuse, you'll probably feel a little more tired. It usually lasts for a week or two and then it goes away. During the first two months that people take Antabuse, about 20% develop a funny taste in their mouth. It's usually described as a metallic taste. The major side effects of Antabuse are rare. The most common but still rare side effect of Antabuse is liver damage. Any drug that you take over a long-term has the potential to cause liver damage. With Antabuse, it happens in roughly one out of 30,000 people. Your doctor should periodically check your liver enzymes while you're on Antabuse. You may not be a able to take Antabuse if you have a significant medical history of heart or blood vessel disease, diabetes, an underactive thyroid, brain disorders (e.g., seizures, brain damage), kidney disease, liver disease, a history of severe depression, a history of psychosis, or a history of suicide attempts. Do NOT take Antabuse if you're pregnant, or trying to become pregnant. Serious Warning Signs If you notice any of the following rare but serious warning signs, stop using Antabuse and tell your doctor immediately: dark urine, severe abdominal pain, persistent nausea or vomiting, yellowing of the eyes or skin. I have focused on Antabuse for a few reasons. It has a long track record, and is considered safe and effective. It's available in generic form, which means that it's quite inexpensive. The cost of Antabuse is a lot less than the price of alcohol.

SKIP AHEAD: 1:01 – Antipsychotic Mechanism 1:58 – Antipsychotics and their Indications 3:30 – Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (Typical Antipsychotic Side Effect) 4:18 – Extrapyramidal Symptoms (Typical Antipsychotic Side Effect) 6:19 – Atypical Antipsychotics and their side effects 8:57 – Mood Stabilizers 12:58 – Anxiolytics and Benzodiazepines We will start with a quick review of some material from my previous video on psychosis. Symptoms of schizophrenia can be broken down into 2 categories, Positive and Negative Symptoms. Positive symptoms include behaviors or sensations that are not normally present. Examples include hallucinations, delusions, and catatonia. These symptoms are thought to be related to an excess of dopamine. I remember this by remembering that “doPamine has a P in it”. So P for Positive and P for Dopamine. Negative symptoms are the absence of normal behavior. Examples include a lack of initiative, diminished speech, disheveled appearance & flat affect. These symptoms are thought to be related to an excess of serotonin. As we will see antipsychotics affect dopamine and serotonin to varying levels. The indications for this class of drugs includes psychosis (mainly schizophrenia), Mania (mainly bipolar disorder), aggression and Tourette's disease. Typical Antipsychotics primarily block dopamine receptors in a non-specific manor. Therefore, these drugs work best for positive symptoms, and have little effect on negative symptoms. The non-specific mechanism of the drug also means there are lots of side effects. Some of these medications come in a slow release injectable form so they can be used in non-compliant and aggressive patients. There are a lot of high yield side effects so we will break them down one by one Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (or NMS) is a rare but potentially fatal adverse reaction of typical antipsychotics. It involves fever, altered mental status, rigidity and autonomic instability (such as tachycardia, hypertension, diaphoresis etc.). You may also see elevated myoglobin in blood or urine and elevated Creatine Kinase (CK). One of the ways I think about it is that it looks kinda sorta like Serotinin Syndrome that you can see with antidepressatns. If you see this you have to emergently stop the medication, provide supportive care and consider adding Dantrolene Extrapyramidal Symptoms (or EPS) are due to blockage of Nigrostriatal dopamine. It can present with a number of different symptoms. Akasthisia is a general sensation of restlessness Acute Dystonia is involuntary continuous muscle contractions often of the neck. Another common presentation of acute dystonia is Oculogyris Crisis when your eyes get locked looking upward and you have to lean over to see Dyskinesia (AKA Pseudoparkinsonism) presents like Parkinson’s Disease with symptoms like a pill rolling tremor, cogwheel rigidity & bradykinesia (or slow movement) Tardine Dyskinesia (or TD) is uncontrollable facial tics, grimacing & tongue movements As scary as these symptoms may look, they are generally not medical emergencies. In most cases you will continue to use the drug with perhaps a reduction in the dose or the addition of an anticholinergic mediation like Benzatropine or Diphenhydramine. Tardive Dyskinesia is the exception and requires cessation of the medication as it can be permanent. Usually you would switch a patient with TD to a 2nd gen antipsychotic. Hyperprolactinemia is a side effect due to Blockage of Tuberoinfundibular dopamine. It presents just like any other disease that increases prolactin. So you can have galactorrhea, gynecomastia, decreased libido and menstrual irregularities. The text for this video is too long and exceeds Youtube max allowed length. How To Cure Hypothyroidism http://www.HypothyroidRevolution.org In alternative medicine, there is very little difference in curing hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. This is because the treatment involves assisting the thyroid to heal, in either case. Those with hyperthyroidism should not use iodine, because it could overdrive the thyroid, worsening the condition. Curing thyroid disease requires a long-term commitment for a period of at least a year. Creating this problem took years of self-poisoning, so fixing it is neither quick, nor easy. Hypothyroidism medications are addictive, and the body becomes reliant on them, which is why the mainstream establishment maintains that people must take them forever. Those who have been taking hypothyroidism medications for years must slowly wean themselves from the drugs. Abruptly stopping these medications will result in extreme fatigue, and additional thyroid problems. Treatment Recommendations Eliminate and discard all non-stick cookware Eliminate Soy - Soy suppresses thyroid function, imbalances hormones, and it has been shown to cause goiters (an enlargement of the thyroid gland) in previously healthy individuals, which shows that it disrupts iodine usage. Adhere to an Alkaline Diet - This is extremely helpful when curing any chronic disease. Reference the Body pH and Disease article to guide you. Balance Estrogen Levels (Women) - Excess estrogen slows down the thyroid gland. This means eliminating birth control medications, increasing the fiber in the diet, and avoiding all non-organic meats. Growth hormones in meats lead to imbalanced hormones. Reduce dairy intake, because milk often contains lots of estrogen; primarily because cows are milked frequently during pregnancy. Exercise - Find a physical activity that is fun, and do it often. We believe that exercise could half the cure time in some cases, and curing is not possible without it. Hemp Fiber - This is a broad spectrum supplement and a mild laxative. L-Tyrosine - Tyrosine is a natural amino acid which helps the body produce its own thyroid hormone. This is also known to help with the depression, which usually accompanies hypothyroidism. Most naturopaths recommend that 500 mg. be taken 2-3 times daily. L-Arginine - Arginine is known to stimulate the thyroid and its hormones. It also improves immune function, improves fertility, and alleviates erectile dysfunction. Iodine - The thyroid needs iodine to function properly, and lots of people now suffer from iodine deficiencies. To test yourself, place some iodine (we use 2%) on your stomach. Make a dot the size of a silver dollar (or twice the size of a British 50p). If it disappears within 12 hours, then you are iodine deficient. Keep adding iodine in increasing amounts, until it no longer disappears in a 12-hour period. This works due to the fact that the body absorbs iodine at the rate at which it is needed. Do not use povidone iodine and do not orally consume iodine. This is especially an important precaution for those with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Avoid all sources of fluoride - As already mentioned, fluoride suppresses the thyroid, and is likely to be the leading cause of hypothyroidism. Drink spring water, avoid soft drinks, use fluoride-free toothpaste, use a shower filter, and throw away non-stick cookware. Both coffee and tea naturally contain fluoride, so use iodine to compensate if these drinks are indispensable. Eat a natural diet - To help the body to heal itself, remove burdens on its immune system. This means that all processed foods, artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, white flour, white sugar, table salt, hydrogenated oils, aluminum, high fructose corn syrup, and etcetera should be eliminated from the diet. Organic food is the ideal. Do not trust marketing that reads "All Natural", because this phrase is unregulated, so anyone can use it for anything. Read labels carefully. Chlorophyll - Supplementing with chlorophyll provides essential copper, helps oxygenate the body, builds healthy red blood cells, and it overall assists with skin health. Chlorophyll is a safe method of orally supplementing with copper. Those who are using our Colloidal Copper Lotion are unlikely to need more copper. Zinc and Selenium: Studies indicate that severe zinc or selenium deficiencies can cause decreased thyroid hormone levels. Never take zinc on an empty stomach. Brazil nuts are high in both zinc and selenium. Coconut Oil: Buy organic, cold-pressed, coconut oil from a health food store. Take around 1 teaspoon of it daily. You can also use it to cook with, but be warned that it smokes at low cooking temperatures, so it should only be used for low-heat cooking. Coconut oil speeds the metabolism, encourages production of the thyroid hormone, and kills candida yeast.

Sorry this video is a little jumpy... But this is just about the different medications I have been on. UPDATE: My doctors put me on Risperdal which is supposed to be very similar to haldol (the medication that works well for me). However I was only on it for a week because it had a side effect of making me very angry and I was just mad at the world and not fun to be around! So now i am back on haldol!

It blocks some adrenergic auto and heteroreceptors, increasing serotonin release, and selectively antagonizes serotonin receptors in the central and peripheral nervous system. It also enhances serotonin neurotransmission and blocks the histaminergic and muscarinic receptors. Mirtazapine is not a serotonin or norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor but may increase serotonin and norepinephrine by other mechanisms of action. Side Effects: Constipation, dry mouth, weight gain, increase appetite, somnolence, sedation, sleepiness, weakness, distrurbance in thinking, peripheral edema, increased blood pressure. When Discontinuing Use: Mirtazapine and other antidepressants may cause a discontinuation syndrome upon cessation. A GRADUAL and SLOW reduction in dose is recommended. Effects of sudden cessation of treatment with mirtazapine may include depression, anxiety, panic attacks, vertigo, restlessness, irritability, decreased appetite, insomnia, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, flu-like symptoms such as allergies and pruritus, headaches and sometimes hypomania or mania. It can go so far as to cause suicidal thoughts, so please, be careful!! AKA not good!!! PLEASE always been under the care of a great doctor and NEVER stop taking a drug suddenly without guidance from your doctor. In truth, those hurtful misconceptions about bipolar disorder are just another form of bipolar stigma. And the media has a lot to do with it. This includes movies, television shows and news outlets that give a negative portrayal of people with bipolar disorder. The violent and disturbing characters we see in the media mimicking someone with bipolar disorder are incredibly hurtful and dangerous. These harmful misconceptions of bipolar disorder prevent many people from receiving proper treatment. For instance, when I was diagnosed with bipolar 2 disorder, I believed the negative stereotypes of people with mental illness. Stigma is the main reason why it took so long for me to get on a treatment plan and accept my diagnosis. It is essential to talk about these hurtful misconceptions of bipolar disorder and the impact they have on our community. We need to utilize our collective voice to speak the truth about our lives with bipolar disorder and change the way the general public sees it. This type of action starts with addressing the media and their contribution to bipolar stigma. It is unethical, and these hurtful misconceptions about people with bipolar make us self-stigmatize. What hurtful misconceptions have affected your life with bipolar? Please share your comments below or do a response video and send it into firstname.lastname@example.org. See you next week! Thank you. MY STORY My name is Noah and on May 18 2011, I had a rare reaction to a vaccine called VIVITROL and consequently spiraled into a major, agitated, suicidal depression with depersonalization. I lost 25 lbs in 4 weeks and was in full panic or near panic for 8 weeks straight mixed with the darkest most painful depression I cold have ever imagined. I immediately could not work and had to move in with my parents who along with many siblings and friends had to watch me 24/7 as I was so suicidal. I was eventually hospitalized. Getting through each day seemed truly unbearable and I knew I would surely die. I have been put on many many different SSRI's SNRI's Tricyclics, Mood stabilizers, anti psychotics, holistic meds, acupuncture and even a form of shock therapy called RTMS. I barely saw any improvement in my condition for a full year. It was decided I had treatment resistant depression and I spent nearly every moment in tears. Weeks after starting my newest round of medications (Seroquel & Nortryptaline) as a last ditch effort, I had my blood drawn for possible hormone imbalances and my Testosterone levels came back 200 ng/Dl and 150 ng/Dl. The average 25 year old male has 750 ng/Dl. With this discovery I for the first time had any type of possible explanation as to why I was not getting better and why I might be so so sick. The symptoms of such Low T are very similar to those of major depression. I started Testosterone replacement therapy soon after and have been checking in with the world and documenting my experience with treatment as well as giving my insight and perspective on various topics of mental health. I am blessed to say that I have slowly, over the last 1 year, been improving and becoming more stable which I never thought to be possible. My low T manifested itself in the form of Major depression, anxiety, and depersonalization/ derealization. Gaining some mental stability back is nothing short of a miracle as I was near death for what felt like forever. I do not consider myself to be totally healed yet but I am closer now then ever before and aim to use what I have been through to help or at least offer support to others in need. I was able to successfully come off my Seroquel and am now tapering off my final antidepressant medication Pamelor.

Best Anxiety Medication - Ways To Make Your Anxiety Go Away With And Without Using Medication at http://www.PanicAwayProgram.org Although anxiety is accepted as being a normal and healthy emotion, some people suffer from intense anxiety, which ends up affecting their lives and causing them to keep away from certain situations that they used to be able to deal without difficulty. If you are suffering from anxiety then you should begin on finding an appropriate and effective method of treatment. http://www.PanicAwayProgram.org The first thing you need to do is determining the type of anxiety disorder you suffer from. There are five main types of anxiety disorders: generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and social anxiety disorder. Effective treatments for each anxiety disorder are accessible, and new and enhanced treatments are always becoming available. Non-medication treatments Once you have found out the type of anxiety that you are suffering from you will be able to find the suitable anxiety disorder treatment. Mild anxiety disorders can often be treated relatively simple with relaxation and breathing techniques. Yoga, for instance, is a great type of exercise that can really help with anxiety and related health conditions. This is definitely something that should be tried prior to more serious forms of anxiety disorder treatment. If your anxiety is more severe or constant, then therapy or counseling may become the best option. Cognitive behavioral therapy for one has been confirmed to be very effective in the treatment of all types of anxiety disorder. In this therapy you work one on one with an experienced and qualified mental health professional, who will assist you to deal with your fears in a safe and controlled environment. Over time you will be able to find out the root of your anxiety and from there work towards developing a treatment plan that will lead you to your normal life. You can also select an anxiety disorder treatment plan that involves natural and herbal treatments. Herbal remedies such as valerian root and kava kava have over and over again proven to be effective at treating anxiety disorders and depression. You do need to keep in mind that just because these herbal remedies are natural it does not indicate that you do not still have to be careful. If taken inappropriately, these remedies can actually worsen your anxiety. Hypnotherapy, biofeedback, and acupuncture are other options for anxiety disorder treatment. In order to determine which one is going to work best for you, you need to talk to your doctor. You may need to try a few different methods before you find the one that works best for you and your particular anxiety condition. Medications for anxiety disorder Generally, most treatments for anxiety disorders include at least one prescription medication. If you start taking medication as a treatment for anxiety disorder, it is important to understand that this should not be a long-term solution and you should keep working with a certified mental health professional in order to determine the root cause of your anxiety. There are several common medications for anxiety disorder and one of them is selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Serotonin is known as the brain's all-natural happy drug. Scientists believe that a lack of serotonin is the source of depression, anxiety, and panic attacks and therefore the purpose of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors is to increase the levels of serotonin in the brain. Some familiar brands that use selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors are Prozac and Zoloft. Benzodiazepines are another choice of medication, which act like minor tranquilizers. They decelerate the body's nervous system, giving it an all-over calm. These types of medications can be addictive, so they should only be taken as prescribed. Some well-known brand names are Xanax and Valium. Another medication that is used to treat anxiety disorder is antidepressants, which affect the neurotransmitters in the brain. Effexor is a good example of this type of anxiety disorder medication. Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) are very strong antidepressant drugs that should only be taken as a last resort after all other treatments have been tried. These drugs can be lethal when combined with certain other drugs and foods. One thing that need to be noted, anyone who takes antidepressants may become more susceptible to suicide, especially when they first begin to take them or when the dosage is changed.

#XXVI = 26 That's a fucked up list of side effects... About Dulaglutide: It's used with a proper diet and exercise program to control high blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. Controlling high blood sugar helps prevent kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, loss of limbs, and sexual function problems. Proper control of diabetes may also lessen your risk of a heart attack or stroke. It is similar to a natural hormone in your body (incretin). It works by causing insulin release in response to high blood sugar (such as after a meal) and by decreasing the amount of sugar your liver makes. I DO NOT OWN THIS. ALL RIGHTS TO ELI LILLY.

As a natural, integrative, and function-medicine trained nutritionist, I've implemented a lot of changes over the years to reduce my exposure to toxins in my home and environment. I recently did a Detox Test on myself and must say, I was a bit surprised at the results. I tested positive for DDE - a metabolite of DDT which was banned in 1965 but is "persistent". Persistent means it persists in the environment for years. I also tested positive for parabens, phthalates, and hexachlorobenzene! The moral of the story is we ALL need to be implementing detox strategies on a DAILY basis! ************* About Tracy Konoske, MS, RDN America's Virtual Nutritionist Tracy Konoske is an eclectic clinician and uses a blend of natural, integrative, functional, and personalized medicine to help her patients feel their best. Tracy understands that there are 4 drivers of chronic disease: Toxins, Infections, Stress, and Diet. And it's often a combination of all 4 that lead to a chronic health condition, and thus it takes a treatment plan addressing each of the 4 to resolve and reclaim good health. Tracy has recovered from 2 "perfect storm" situations which had drastic effects on her health and led to multiple mystery illnesses and diagnosis including Lyme. By reducing the burden of these triggers, Tracy is successfully resolving: Fatigue (anemia's, adrenals, thyroid-related, chronic fatigue syndrome, ME-CFS) Auto Immune Conditions (Hashimoto's, Lupus, MS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Celiac) Mental Health Conditions (anxiety, depression, OCD, ADD/ADHD) Cognitive Dysfunction (trouble concentrating, forgetfulness, symptoms of early Alzheimer's) Digestive Disorders (low hydrochloric acid, "leaky gut", Candida Albicans, Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth SIBO, IBS, Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis) Migraines and chronic headaches If you've one or more of the above-mentioned conditions, or have been told you have Lyme or chronic Lyme, there's a good chance you are in the right place. If you have a history of chronic sore throats, tonsillitis or tonsillectomy, mononucleosis, glandular fever, shingles, and/or cold sores, there's a good chance you are in the right place. There are no coincidences. All good things come from God. Every day, Tracy is helping people just like you get well! Just because you’ve been from doctor to doctor doesn’t mean there isn’t an answer!
