This is a homemade glute ham raise machine I made a while back. The frame is made entirely out of wood. The GHR functions like any commercial GHR I have used. It's adjustable and the padding is very comfortable. It is very strong. I have done back extension rows with a barbell with 185lb on it. In this video, we will be discussing the anatomy of the biceps brachii muscle. The Biceps Brachii Muscle has two heads. This muscle is commonly referred to as simply the biceps. Both heads attach on the scapula. The long head arises form the supraglenoid tubercle, runs over the head of the Humerus and out the joint capsule to descend through the bicipital grove, and joins with the short head that arises from the coracoid process. Because tendons of both heads cross the shoulder joint anteriorly, the biceps assist in shoulder flexion. However, its main function is at the elbow. After joining, the two heads form a common muscle belly that covers the anterior surface of the arm. The biceps muscle crosses the elbow joint to attach on the radial tuberosity. It is the superficial muscle of the anterior arm. Because the biceps muscle spans the arm anteriorly, it is a good elbow flexor, especially in the midrange.
